Friday 30th October 2009 Jackson's last interview finished half an hour ago, but he wanted to pick up something that he had put on hold at the jeweller the other day in secret. On their way to a second interview one day, a necklace with a stork holding a baby caught his eye. Jackson didn't hesitate to put aside the necklace, saying that he would be back, and now he was coming back a week later to pick it up. He just thought it was appropriate, as Emma was carrying their first child, and had a feeling that she might just love it. Jackson left the store, holding the small jewellary bag, with the small box inside, and headed towards the quaint cafe nearby. He had told Emma to meet him around twelve noon, which was like in three minutes, so he was glad that he had the time to pick up this little gift. He also knew why they were meeting as well. They were going to discuss the wedding details. They both hoped that they would get married before the baby was born, which Jackson was fine with. Either way, the baby was going to be loved by both of them, no matter what. He knew that he was so ready to become a father. It couldn't wait for the day to come when the baby was born, and he got to hold him or her for the first time. Just thinking about it was bringin emotions to the surface. So he let out a couple of deep breaths, to calm himself down. Jackson soon reached the cafe, and sat outside. It was undercover, but still being outside was nice. A waiter came out, and greeted him. "Hi. I am just waiting for my fiance, but a bottle of water might be nice. Thanks." The waiter nodded, then walked away to get the water. Jackson placed the small bag on the table opposite to him, waiting for Emma to open her gift.

{ooc - I am so sorry this took me so long, it's almost two weeks, it's really so unlike me, I am so, so sorry}
It had been over two months since Jackson had proposed to Emma and she had accepted and on that same night of her twenty-first, she had also walked for the first time after her accident, and announced she was having Jackson’s baby. On top of that, her brother Craig came home and surprised her, it really was a night Emma would never forget. However, now that she was sixteen weeks into her pregnancy and much more stable on her feet, it was time to start making wedding plans. Emma thought it would be great if they could get married on Valentine’s Day, but since it fell on a Sunday she realised they would have to settle for the Saturday, as it would be the closest they would get. Emma wasn’t much of an old fashioned girl, but she didn’t want to get married after their baby was born, she wanted to be married before.
She had agreed with Jackson to meet him at a cafe when his interview was finished, so now it was almost time, and she made her way to the cafe in question. She was so happy; so far the pregnancy was going well, other than the occasional outburst of emotions when nothing was going right. She had been told it could happen, and it had, and the other thing, she had begun to crave red meat, which was weird, because she normally couldn’t stand the stuff and the one thing she loved, chicken, she felt she couldn’t eat much of. However, she felt it wasn’t much, seeing how some women have terrible morning sickness and go through severe mood swings.
As she approached the cafe, she saw Jackson waiting outside but undercover, and she immediately bounded up to him, with her hair bouncing in the ponytail behind her. She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him from behind as she leaned down and then kissed him on the lips softly. “Hi, how did the interview go?” She then saw the small bag sitting on the opposite table. She immediately pointed to it, “What’s that Jackson?” Stupid question she thought, he wouldn’t tell her, he’d only ask her to open it and find out. “Have you been spoiling me again?” She gave him another kiss, before she made her way over to the other table, and picked up the bag and opened it. She lifted out the box and then opened it, and her eyes began to water when she saw what it was.
She put her hand up to her heart, “Oh Jackson, it’s beautiful, I love it.” Fumbling with her fingers which were shaking slightly she tried to undo the clasp, “I’m shaking for some reason, Jackson can you put it on for me please?” She then went back round to where he was sitting so he could do just that, even though she was already wearing about two pendants which she had been given for her twenty-first, but she was lucky that the pendants seldom tangled together and when they did, she just got Jackson to untangle them for her. Once the pendant was on, she sat down and looked at Jackson with love in her eyes, “So, you’ll be glad to know I had no parking issues today.” The last time she had to meet him for the scan of the baby, she had a mishap where she couldn’t get the car parked properly and begun to cry. This was the emotional side of the pregnancy she didn’t like so much.

{ooc - btw - Jackson was sitting outside, but undercover.}
The waiter soon came back with the water that Jackson had asked for. "Thanks," Jackson said, then began to pour himself a glass. He took a sip of the water, and then placed his glass down. Jackson had come prepared with paper and a pen to take notes of anything that they had discussed, but had a fair idea that Emma might get something to document every little thing. Well most women did, or they booked a wedding coordinator. With that thought, Jackson wondered if they should consider that. He knew that he was well known around America as a member of C-PAX, but wondered if they should keep it low key. But then, what if Emma wanted a big wedding? Jackson decided to stop worrying, as it would all be discussed soon enough.
As Jackson leaned back into his chair, a pair of arms came around him, hugging his body. He instantly put a hand on one of Emma's arms, gently squeezing it. Jackson was soon met with a kiss, which he returned, and when they pulled away, he couldn't help but smile as she asked him how the interview went. "Hey Em. It was good. A little long, but you get that sometimes." She then noticed the bag on the opposite side of the table, commenting on it. He snickered, raising his eyebrows. Surely by now Emma knew him well enough to not ask questions, there was never an answer if it was a surprise. When she asked if he has been spoiling her again, he shrugged his shoulders, snickering again, trying to hold back a smile.
Emma gave him another kiss, and then headed over to the other side of the table to open her present. All Jackson could do was look on, and smile as Emma opened the box, and then she spoke. "I'm glad Em." He watched as she tried to put it on, but then she asked him to help her put it on. "Sure Em." He got up from the chair, as she came over, and he closed the glasp on the chain. "There you go." His hands lingers near her shoulders, then moved them, and then sat down as Emma did the same, opposite him. Jackson was about to offer Emma a glass of water, when she spoke about not having any parking issues. "That's great to hear Em. Glad all is well with that issue today." He grinned, remembering the last time that they met for the first appointment, and she was having difficulting in parking.
The waiter came over, and asked if they were ready to order. "I will have the steak, salad and chips, with a coke." He then looked over at Emma. "What did you want sweetie?" Once both orders were taken, Jackson poured Emma a glass of water, and gave it to her, with a smile. "So. Where do we start with the wedding preparations. I had a thought earlier, or actually a couple of thoughts. Are you wanting a big or small wedding? Doesn't bother me either way, just as long as we can workin the different aspects that we both want, as money really isn't an issue. Also are you wanting a wedding coordinator?" He thought they were the main things that he had been thinking about.

{ooc - obviously I ended up being in a rush to get the post written after taking so long - I amended my other post!! lol sorry}
Jackson returned the kiss Emma gave him, and when they pulled apart he answered her question telling her the interview went well but was just a little long but you got that sometimes. “I guess so; I wouldn’t know what with not being the international big star!” She giggled after saying it, so he would know she was just teasing him, she loved his job, she loved having a famous boyfriend, no, not boyfriend, fiancé and soon to be husband. “At least you made it here in one piece, that’s all that matters to me.” She gave him a bright smile then. It was at that point she noticed the bag and began to ask questions about it, even though she knew Jackson wouldn’t say anything, because then it wouldn’t be a surprise for her. When she asked if he had been spoiling her again, she watched as he shrugged his shoulders slightly and tried not to laugh.
She had then opened it and exclaimed how beautiful it was and then tried to put the chain on but found it difficult as her fingers were shaking for some reason, so she asked Jackson to help her. She made her way over to him and watched as he stood up and then she lifted her ponytail and soon she felt his fingers near her neck clasping the lock together on the chain. “Thanks Jackson.” She then made her way back to her own seat at the table opposite Jackson. Emma had then told Jackson she had no parking issues and she couldn’t help but laugh at Jackson’s response. “Well, its bloody frustrating when you can’t get the car parked properly first go, not good for an over emotional pregnant woman you know.” She knew she didn’t have to say that, because Jackson would know only too well how her emotions were affecting her since she announced she was pregnant. “I’m just grateful I don’t seem to be getting those mood swings I read about.”
The waiter then came over and asked if they were ready to order, Jackson put in his own order, and then asked what she would like. Her weird cravings came into play again when she heard Jackson ask for steak, “I’ll have the quarter pounder cheeseburger and fries please, with a side salad and a glass of ginger beer, and is there any chance you could put a scoop of vanilla ice cream into the ginger beer please?” She then looked over at Jackson wondering if he would say anything about what she had just asked for, because this would be the first time she would have eaten red meat in front of him and ginger beer she never usually touched the stuff, but for some reason she had a taste for it with ice cream. After the waiter left with their orders, Jackson handed her over a glass of water. “Thanks.” As she took a sip of her water Jackson delved right into the reason for their little lunch meeting, to talk wedding plans.
The first question about whether she wanted a big or a small wedding was one she hadn’t really given much thought to, but Jackson then said he didn’t mind either way, she was just taking that in and thinking of an answer when he added in another question about a wedding coordinator. “Well, I hadn’t really given much thought to the size of the wedding, I mean I’d like family and friends there obviously, some of the people who came to my twenty-first gave some nice gifts, it would be good to maybe invite them, and I have no doubt that some of the guys from The Chronicle will want to come along too, something for them to write about, the pop star getting married you know?” Emma giggled a little then followed by a gentle sigh as she thought about a wedding coordinator. Did she really want it all taken away from her? She was pregnant, and by the time they probably had all the plans sorted, she’d be at least seven months gone, maybe it would help if she didn’t have to go rushing around planning everything.
“You know, a wedding coordinator might not be such a bad idea Jackson, never thought about it, but what with me being pregnant, and the odd twinge from my leg every now and then, and still trying to hold down the veterinary clinic, it would be a little less for me to worry about if someone is doing all the hard work and then we just have to agree or disagree.” She wasn’t sure of Jackson’s opinion on it, but he must have been thinking about it if he had gone to the trouble of asking what she thought. They could afford one, and if you could get someone to do all the hard work on something, then why not?

Jackson shook his head at Emma's response to him commenting about the interview. "Ha ha. Who knew you were so funny?" He let out a laugh then, and loved hearing Emma giggle. It was so cute. "Yes. Well there were a few fans outside the building to greet us. But felt bad as most of them wanted to get my autograph." It wasn't rocket science to figure out that he was the most popular one in the group. So when it got a bit much to sign stuff, he waved over one of the other guys to come over and do some signing as well.
Soon enough Emma got to open the present that he had bought her, and Jackson got to put it around her neck. It did look beautiful on her. Simple, but beautiful. Emma thanked him, "Your welcome, Em." Then the parking of the car had come up, and after Jackson's comment, refering to the previous time she had troubles, he kind of smiled at her response. Then she added about being grateful for not getting the moodswings. "Yes. But I am sure if you had those as well, we would handle it." He reached over for her hands, taking them briefly. "We have done alright so far with everything, I am sure moodswings will be a piece of cake." Well he hoped so.
The waiter had then come over, and Jackson gave him his order, then asked Emma what she wanted. He slightly raised his eyebrows at what she was ordering. Once she had given the order and the waiter left, she looked at him. "Interesting lunch you are having. You don't normally eat meat. Especially red meat. Maybe the baby is telling you something." He had seen her eat most of whatever else she ordered, just the meat stood out to him.
Jackson then had told her the questions she had that he had been thinking about. He listened to what Emma said in reply to the size of the wedding, and nodded at the guests that should be attending. "I will have to find that list that Marcus and I created for your twenty-first. But yes, some of the people from The Chronicle would be good, seeing as a couple did attend your birthday party. And really, they haven't given the band a bad review yet." He chuckled at that, and then listened to what Emma had to say about the Wedding Coordinator idea.
He nodded, and began to feel his face go serious as she mentioned all the things she had to do, without planning a wedding. So maybe his idea wasn't a stupid one in the end. Maybe the person was definately needed in their case. "Okay. Well we might have to hunt one down and fast as I know that they are always being used. We don't want to miss out." Jackson then wondered if there were certain ones who would look after a 'celebrity' wedding as such. He sat back and decided to mention this thought. "I was just thinking whether there were actual wedding coordinators who actually looked after celebrity weddings. I know that I want the best wedding for you, but do we really want to go over the top. I don't think that I am that kind of person, despite my lifestyle now." Jackson loved being the centre of attention, some of the time. But when it came to his personal life, he wasn't so sure. He had been in the papers out and about with Emma, or out doing his own thing. But really, he liked to keep his life as private as he could, giving out little information.

Emma playfully poked her tongue out at Jackson when he joked about her comment over his interview. “I have my moments.” She replied when he made the comment about who knew she could be so funny. Jackson then laughed and it made Emma giggle all the more. Jackson then commented about fans wanting autographs when she’d mentioned about him being in one piece. Emma grinned when he said he felt bad as most of them wanted his autograph, she squeezed his cheeks with her thumb and fingers, “Well, why wouldn’t they love that face of yours, I do. But I’ve got more of you than any of them ever will and I get to marry you.” She giggled again then and let go of his cheeks.
After Emma thanked Jackson for the pendant, he said she was welcome and she gave him a bright smile. Emma had then spoken about having no parking issues commenting also that she was lucky not have been suffering from any mood swings, at least not yet and from what she had read about them, she hoped she never would suffer from them. Jackson replied saying if she did have them he was sure they could handle it, and then he took her hands in his own. He then spoke some more saying they had done fine so far and he was sure mood swings were a piece of cake. Emma raised her eyebrow slightly and gently squeezed his hands. “Well, from what I read, I am not so sure they’ll be a piece of cake, so let’s just keep hoping I don’t get them.” She then gave Jackson a warm smile. Maybe the mood swings would depend on the female, but she didn’t want to find out and just rather not have them, the emotions she could deal with.
After Emma had placed her order she knew Jackson would comment about it. She bit on the inside of her cheek and then smiled weakly, “Having cravings now, I made a chicken salad sandwich earlier and I couldn’t face it. The meat I love then saw the sliced roast beef and immediately ate a slice.” She then shrugged a little, what could she do, it was just another journey to go along with the over emotions. “Not sure if it will last at all, but I did read that it could happen.” Obviously the baby was going to be a red meat eater she thought to herself.
When Jackson commented that he would have to find the list he and Marcus wrote for her twenty-first she gave him a warm smile, “Maybe we don’t have to invite everybody who was at the party, but definitely some of The Chronicle guys, I’m sure when they hear about the ‘Wedding of the Year’, they’ll be knocking on the door about getting VIP invites anyway.” Emma giggled a little again, just thinking about it all. Really in the grand scheme of things, it would be more or less classed as a celebrity wedding after all. Jackson then made his own comment about the guys from The Chronicle and how they hadn’t given them a bad review yet. “Well that’s because you’re all amazing Jackson.” Emma gushed slightly. Well she had thought he was brilliant that first night she heard him performing solo and he was just as good in the band, in many ways Emma felt he was the band, although she did love all the boys and had a good friendship with them all.
When Emma had said a wedding coordinator might not be a bad idea, Jackson commented that they should try to find one and fast as they didn’t want to miss out. Emma nodded her head, “Well, if we can’t find one, then I’m sure mum will help with it all.” Maybe thinking about a wedding coordinator was something she should have mentioned sooner. She never thought about having trouble getting one. However Jackson continued to speak some more, talking of coordinators for celebrities, she wondered if they would be even more difficult to get a hold of. When Jackson carried on saying he didn’t think he was the type of person to go over the top, she continued to smile and nodded her head, “Well, I’m not really the over the top type of person either, we can have the best without going over the top celebrity style.” She gave him a reassuring smile then, as she was certain he was wanting the best for her, but the best didn’t mean the most expensive. All she really cared about was marrying Jackson and just being with him.

Jackson let out a laugh at Emma, when she poked her tongue out, and spoke. He loved it when they played off of each other, but only when it was appropriate, and depending on the situation. Emma hadn't gone through moodswings, but Jackson didn't want any to start if possible, so loved these moments when they popped up. After Jackson had made the comments of the signing of stuff, and spoke of him being the one who they wanted autographs off, Emma had squeezed his cheeks. Jackson was starting to get a bit embarrassed by that, but then went along with it. Once Emma let go, he smile sheepishly at her. "I know, and I love that you are the one that gets me in that way. But..." Jackson looked down at the table. "I still try and get the others involved. I want us to all be equal somewhat, you know?" He didn't want to bring their lunch date down, but Jackson did know his popularity, but didn't want the other guys to miss that either.
After Jackson commented on the whole moodswing thing, Emma had raised her eyebrow, and he felt that gentle squeeze of her hand. Here what she was saying, it probably was a good thing that she hadn't had them. "Okay. Let's just deal with the emotional rollercoaster, rather than the moodswing one then."
Jackson listened to what Emma said about what she had tried to eat earlier. "I will have to make sure that there is no chicken in the house for you to be tempted to make something with it. And will have to go out later to get some meat then?" Jackson didn't mind going out and getting that for her. Whatever satisfied her cravings was fine with him. Jackson just wanted Emma to be happy and not have to stress over anything. Though he knew that he was going to be the one to stress, what with his career, a wedding, and looking after Emma when he could. Though he still couldn't complain as he loved Emma more than anything, and wanted to marry his ice princess.
Jackson took in what Emma said about the guests, nodding a couple of times. "Okay so I will send Connor from The Chronicle, an email, as he was the one who approached me for an interview, letting him know of the wedding once the date is set." He then knew that they wanted Valentine's Day for the wedding, but it might be a bit too much being on a Sunday. "So have we thought about the date anymore? I know that the 14th of February lands on a Sunday, so do you think we should have the wedding on the Saturday. That way we can spend Valentine's Day together?" Just thinking of them being husband and wife, and just spending that day together was magical in Jackson's head.
After Jackson mentioned the fact that the paper hadn't given them a bad review yet, he had to smirk a bit, liking what she was saying. "Why thank you Miss Woods. You're too kind." He let out a bit of a laugh then, and after a few seconds became serious. "So it is settle some of the guys from The Chronicle. And of cause our families. Wouldn't want to leave them out. And also the band. And of cause our sibling's significant others. Have I missed anyone?" Jackson didn't think he had, but knowing him he might have.
Jackson knew that his mum would obviously want to be in on the act of helping as well, when Emma commented that her mum would help if they couldn't get a coordinator for the wedding. "Well I think that your mum and my mum would help with anything, even if we had a coordinator. I could always ask our manager if he has any contacts with anyone. I don't really know of anyone who has dealt with a celebrity wedding coordinator, so it might be our mum's who would help in the end, which won't be too bad." Hearing that Emma wasn't over the top with things either, made him smile, knowing that she would say that. "I agree. So if we do get someone we will have to stress that we don't want a huge wedding. We basically have the guest list already, so that can see how many would be attending anyway."
The waiter then came back with their food, and Jackson thanked them. He looked at his plate, and his mouth started to water. Jackson hadn't realised how hungry he was till he smelt this great food. He looked up at Emma, and smiled. "Smells good." Jackson then looked down at the plate, and picking up his cutlery, he began to cut into the steak, and took a mouthful. It was pretty good. Jackson looked at Emma, after he finished his mouthful, "So how is it Em?"

After Emma had squeezed Jackson’s cheeks asking why the fans would not love that face of his he had commented saying that he would like for them all to be equals. Emma understood what he meant, but sadly every group always had their most popular member, there was always one who had more popularity stakes and fans than any of the other members. Emma smiled at Jackson warmly, “I do get what you mean, but Jackson, every group has their most popular member that isn’t exactly something you can help, look at N*Snyc before they broke up, it was Justin this and Justin that. It’s not your fault if fans prefer you over the other guys, but they’re mad because they don’t know the others, if they did, they’d love you all equally, I know I do except you get that little bit extra, naturally.” She winked at him and followed it with a laugh. That was quite the mini speech from Emma there, but she felt it needed saying.
Emma had to laugh lightly when Jackson agreed to just deal with the emotional rollercoaster rather than the mood swing one. “It certainly sounds like a plan to me. I would take the changeable emotions over mood swings any day.” Although it had to be fair that her rollercoaster of emotions were rather daunting at times as well, especially when you burst into tears because you couldn’t park the car right, thinking back to when they went for the scan. She had gotten a few looks from people passing by who had looked in rather concerned. It was a wonder none of them had tapped the window to make sure she was alright.
When Jackson made the comment about making sure there wasn’t chicken in the house to tempt her, she nodded her head with a sad smile. “I guess so. I’m a bit annoyed because you know how much I love chicken. It seems totally strange to me that I would want to eat red meat at all, but it seems to be what a certain someone is requesting.” She patted her stomach when she said those words about a certain someone. She was so happy she was pregnant, but she wasn’t so happy about the changes it was causing, but her happiness over being pregnant was certainly outshining everything else. She felt as if she was going to be a burden on Jackson with her changeable eating habits, she hoped it wouldn’t happen with much else.
Emma nodded her head and smiled when Jackson said he would send Connor an email about attending the wedding once they set a date. “That sounds like a good idea to me.” Jackson then mentioned about the date. Emma knew she had hinted at Valentine’s Day as being the day to get married, but she soon found out it wasn’t going to be very practical what with it falling on a Sunday. She knew she would have to think of a compromise, so when Jackson mentioned getting married on the Saturday, the day before Valentine’s Day and then to just have that day to be with each other, she grinned at him. “Yeah, that sounds like an even better idea actually, when I think about it, many of the guests we would like to attend might not have wanted to give up their Valentine’s Day to spend at a wedding, so yeah that’s a good solution.” Emma knew how crazy it would probably sound to people who didn’t really know them, after all it would mean they were getting married before they were even together as a couple for a full year, but she knew how she felt, and it was evident how Jackson felt about her. They had more or less fallen in love at first sight, and the love and bond just continued to grow throughout the year.
“I’m not too kind at all Jackson, I only speak the truth.” Emma replied when Jackson had replied to her comment about them all being amazing and that was why the paper hadn’t given them a bad review yet. Jackson then got serious and confirmed who they were going to be inviting to the wedding, mentioning the guys from The Chronicle along with their family and their sibling’s partners and the band, and then asked if he had missed anyone. Emma didn’t think so, so she shook her head. “I don’t think you have missed anyone Jackson that just about covers it all. It will be celebrity style without going Jordan and Peter OTT style.” She was of course referring to Jordan also known as Katie Price and Peter Andre’s star studded very pink wedding. Emma loved Peter, and she also had fallen in love with Katie after watching her and Peter fall in love on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, but after finding out about the way she acted toward Peter in their own reality show she went right off the bitch.
After a coordinator was mentioned and that they might not get one at what was fairly short notice, Emma had mentioned about her mum probably helping, so it was no surprise when Jackson said that his mum would probably help as well. Then Jackson mentioned about making sure to tell a coordinator that they wouldn’t want a big wedding, which made Emma think. “Well maybe we should just scrap the idea of a wedding coordinator altogether now that I think about it, I just have this sudden feeling that both mums would be very put out when they know they aren’t really needed as such, that we took away the joy of it all from them.” Emma hadn’t wanted to be indecisive about it, but after taking proper time out to think about it she knew deep down her mum would feel very upset at not being able to get a hand in at helping her only daughter organise the wedding.
Their food arrived soon after that, and the smell of it made Emma’s stomach rumble, she couldn’t wait to get tucked into it. Although to be fair, what with Emma’s ability she could smell all the food cooking constantly. Emma took a bite of her quarter pounder and instantly moaned a little which surprised her, but it just tasted so good. When Jackson asked her how it was she had to laugh a little, “I thought that little moan of satisfaction would have told you, unless you didn’t hear it. It’s bloody wonderful; someone definitely loves this kind of food.” She once again patted her stomach and laughed a little before continuing to eat her meal.

Jackson shrugged at Emma's comment about the band, and about him. He saw her point about comparing them to another boyband. Jackson too her hand then, "I agree with everything you just said sweetie. And really, the other guys probably have their own fans as well. We will just not see it until we get out there and tour I suppose." Jackson couldn't wait till they officially did that, but then thought about leaving Emma behind, not wanting that at all.
Jackosn nodded at her comment about loving chicken. It was always the one thing that she would eat when he ate his red meat, though he could occassionally eat chicken with her at dinner as well. Jackson smiled as Emma commented about the baby requesting it and all. He sat back in his chair, and put his hands on his head. "Maybe Baby Poe will be just like their father." He let out a short laugh then, knowing that he might be right, as he loved his meat like the next guy.
Jackson gave Emma a smile when she agreed about having the wedding on the thirteenth of February. "Okay then. That is one thing settled. But really, even if we did have it on the fourteenth, it wouldn't matter. It would still be romantic in most of the guests eyes. Well it would to me. But I just want you all to myself on the fourteenth as my beautiful wife." Just the thought of being with the one person he loved on that special day, after another magical special day was enough for Jackson to want them to come already. Everyone that was close to Jackson knew how he felt about Emma. He would do anything for her, and he felt that the obstacles that they had already overcome has just made them stronger as a couple, and now they had their whole lives to work together towards other things, like this baby that would be born after all the excitement of the wedding. He couldn't wait, he knew that he was ready for this next step in his life more than anything now.
Jackson shook his head, smirking at what Emma said about her comment on another celebrity couple. "I just hope that you don't go and make it like that. I might just have to leave if you go all pink on me. I have no objections to pink in there, but seriously nothing that goes over the odds with the colour." He chuckled a bit, knowing what she was getting at. But Jackson wondered about how they decorated the room for her twenty-first. "I can kind of see the setting being similar to your twenty-first party, Em. The pastels were a nice touch I think." Something to add if Emma agreed.
"Okay. We might have to see if our mum's are free maybe later on today, as I am free for the rest of the day till tomorrow. We have some things to speak to them about, and we can just continue to talk to them about what we want for the wedding then." Jackson knew that Emma had a point, and he saw how both of their mum's were when it came to organising and preparing for Emma's twenty-first. They were in there helping as much as they could.
"The moan did Em, but I wanted to hear what you thought. And I am glad that you love it. Again, I wreckon the baby is going to be like me in that department." Jackson continued to eat his meal, loving it quite a lot. "I wonder if they do catering? This food is to die for."

Emma did think that Jackson was getting a little wound up over his status in the band, every band had their front man, and Jackson just happened to be it for C-PAX, but she could see how much it was getting to him. After she said a few words she felt him take her hand agreeing with what she had just said. When he added that the other guys probably had their fans too and it might not be known until they were on tour, Emma smiled brightly at him. “Exactly, so stop fretting already.” He could be such a worrier at times and she thought she used to be bad. Emma knew what she was getting herself into with Jackson, but she knew that when he did start to go on tour she would miss him like crazy. But then her mum’s old saying came into her head about absence making the heart grow fonder and she couldn’t help but smile as she thought about it.
When Jackson leaned back in his chair with his hands on his head commenting about Baby Poe will be just like their father, Emma giggled slightly. “I should say so; they’ve obviously got more of your genes than mine.” Not that it would be a bad thing, Jackson was so handsome and so loving and caring, and really their baby couldn’t have better genes in them. She smiled and decided to clarify that point she had been thinking, “Not that having more of your genes than mine would be a bad thing because it wouldn’t.” She sighed gently then, wondering who they would look more like, or if they would just get the best of both of them. Emma didn’t really care so long as their baby was healthy, that was really all that mattered.
As they spoke more about the date of the wedding and Jackson said to make it the thirteenth instead, Emma had agreed saying not many of their guests may have wanted to give up their Valentine’s Day for a wedding, besides it would also be a Sunday and you didn’t usually get married on a Sunday. “The day before Valentine’s Day will be seen as just as romantic, and no doubt most of the guests will see it as being the closest we could get to the day itself. I also can’t argue that it will be good to spend all of Valentine’s Day alone together.” When Emma thought about it more it really would be pretty awesome. Married on the thirteenth, having an awesome wedding night and waking up the next day in each other’s arms as husband and wife on Valentine’s Day, what could be more romantic than that really?
When Jackson said he hoped that she wouldn’t go like that with regards to the whole going OTT Jordan and Peter style she shook her head and put on a shock expression on her face. “What do you bloody take me for? I was saying that’s exactly what I don’t want us to do.” She then started to laugh having an idea that Jackson was messing around with her, just like she had been teasing him. She might like the colour pink along with pastel shades, but there was only so much pink she could take, and a pink dress and being taken to your wedding in a pink carriage was not Emma’s idea of a romantic wedding. She shuddered at the thought. Jackson has then gone on to mention about the decorations for her twenty-first, and Emma smiled brightly and nodded her head. “Yes, just like my twenty-first, that would be excellent I think.”
Once Emma had changed her mind about a wedding co-ordinator even though she felt bad for being indecisive, she was glad that Jackson seemed to agree when he spoke about finding out if their mum’s were free to talk about it all. With Jackson saying he had the rest of that day free, it seemed as good a day as any to talk to their mum’s about plans. Emma nodded her head giving him a bright smile, “Yes, I think that would be a good idea, I can’t see my mum being busy, so she should be alright to talk to, and hopefully your mum will be free too.” Emma was actually feeling a little bit excited about their upcoming nuptials, even if they would be at least another four months away.
Emma had to giggle slightly when Jackson commented that her moan did let him know how much she was enjoying the food she had ordered. He then spoke saying he was glad she was enjoying it and once again emphasised that the baby was likely to take after him. Emma raised her eyebrow, “Well you know, maybe I’m having a boy then?” She was half teasing, but she couldn’t help but wonder, thinking that a baby girl would have been more apt to take after her tastes then Jackson’s. Whatever the reasons were Emma didn’t care much, she would eat what made her baby happy whether it was strange for her to eat red meat or not. Jackson then made a further comment about the food being good and if they did catering. “I can’t argue with you there, and maybe we should ask them, if they do, I reckon they’d put on a good meal and evening buffet for us.”

Jackson kind of snickered at her comment about the baby maybe being like him a lot. But it did make him wonder if it would have an ability like Emma, or being a normal human being like himself. Only time would tell. Emma spoke more about the subject, which made Jackson shake his head a little. "No it wouldn't. But it does make me wonder if they will be like you, like your, you know." He didn't want to blurt out about her ability, so hoped what he was saying she was getting.
Jackson nodded a little as Emma agreed about the date. Hearing what she was saying about it being good to spend Valentine's Day alone together. "Yes, and can't wait for the time to come now, despite no actual plans set up yet." Jackson gave her the biggest grin, just thinking about it more and more.
Jackson tried so hard to keep a straight face, as Emma as the funniest look on her face. But then as she began to laugh, Jackson joined her. He had then commented about the colourings that they had for her twenty-first, and seemed to go down well with her comment on that. "Well that is settled then. Will get down to those stores that Marcus and I visited for all the supplies. But really we will have to wait till we pick a venue to hold the reception, so we now how much to buy and all that."
When it was settled that their mum's would help out, rather than getting a coordinator to help plan the wedding, Jackson nodded. "Great. Well as far as I know mum isn't doing anything today, so we should be all good to go with the planning today then." Jackson was glad that he had nothing to do for the rest of the day. He wouldn't get many more of these days down the track, so it was best to take on any spare time for the wedding plans.
Just hearing the comment about what sex the baby was, made Jackson wonder. "Maybe. But we won't honestly know till it is born." But he kind of hoped that it might be. Just the thought of the baby being a son and the first born. But really it didn't matter, though it was a nice thought. Jackson had then commented about whether the place they were eating at did catering, due to the food being so good. "Yeah. As soon as we are finished, I will go and ask them. It would be kind of cool if they could."
Jackson ate the rest of his food, and down his drink. He was stuff, and he was now ready to do that thinking now for the planning. Jackson looked over at Emma, and then looked at his watch. "Maybe we could head off now to start the plans. I might just text my mum to see if she is free." He did just that, and soon found that his mum was actually free for the afternoon. "She is free, so I told her to meet at our place in maybe half an hour." Jackson then waited for what Emma had to say, then got up to pay for their meals, and ask about the catering.
Soon enough the person behind the counter retrieved the owner of the cafe who was more than willing to help them out. Jackson was really happy about it all, how it was starting to come together. He paid for their meals, and thanked the owner again. Jackson headed outside to where they had been sitting, and looked around. "I just remembered that I had to pick up something at the studio. Can I meet you back at our place?" Jackson couldn't believe that he had left his guitar at the studio the other night and forgot about it.

As the conversation continued about their unborn child and Emma had said that it wouldn’t be that bad if the baby were to have more of Jackson’s genes than her own he voiced up about whether the baby would be like her. He didn’t elaborate on it much but Emma knew exactly what he was referring to. She hadn’t given it much thought, but maybe it was something she should have been thinking about more. If the baby had more of his genes than hers then maybe they would be normal, who knew. She shrugged her shoulders slightly but smiled warmly at him. “I don’t know Jackson, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but I know it wouldn’t really bother me either way, so long as they’re healthy.”
When Jackson said he couldn’t wait for the time to come when they would get to spend Valentine’s Day together after they were married Emma had no words and could only smile warmly at him. The thought of that day made her so happy. Even if they still had to plan everything, February really wasn’t that far away and she was already so very excited about it all. She just knew that it was going to be the happiest day of her life, of their lives until their baby was born of course, then their wedding would just be one of the many happiest days of her life, of their lives.
When Emma had agreed on the decor for the wedding that she had for her twenty first, Jackson said that he would get down to the store that he and Marcus had gone to for her party, but that they would have to pick a venue for the reception so they would know how much to buy. Emma smiled, “That makes sense, no point in buying a few and not having enough, or buying a lot and having too much left over. So maybe the next thing we should be doing is choosing a venue for the reception, although it has to be said that the place we used for my twenty first was nice, do you think they would hold a wedding reception?” Emma only asked because she had nothing to do with her party naturally, if anybody would be able to answer that question it would probably be Marcus, Emma knew he was the one who had pointed out the venue for her party as he had told her afterward.
After Jackson said that his mum should be free and they would be good to go on planning Emma gave him a bright smile. “I’ll just send mum a quick text.” She then did just that, and sent a text to her mum asking if she would be free later that day and a few moments later in came the reply saying that she was indeed free. “Well my mum is free. So maybe we can all get together then? Dad is working and usually mum is too but she has the day off today.” Really Emma couldn’t wait to get to the better details of their planning. Booking the venue to hold their reception and booking the church. Once those important things were taken care of she would feel as if the plans were finally coming together.
Emma nodded her head when Jackson commented that they honestly wouldn’t know until the baby was born if it were a boy or a girl. “That is very true, you make a very valid point, although we could get to know, but no, I would still prefer the surprise on the day.” When Emma was younger, she had always hoped she would have a little girl, but really when you got older you realised that the sex of your baby didn’t matter, what mattered was the baby being healthy. So it really made no difference to Emma whether she had a girl or a boy now. Jackson had then brought up about the place they were currently eating at being a possibility for doing the catering for the wedding. “I agree, this food is amazing and we would like happy guests at the wedding.” Emma couldn’t help but let out a little laugh then because if their mums suggested doing the catering then their guests would still be happy, she hoped.
Emma then continued to finish her meal and drink just as Jackson had done and when she was finished she felt fully satisfied. It had been a long time since she’d felt fully satisfied since becoming pregnant, so this food must be good. “I think this is the first time I’ve felt fully satisfied after eating something, that is a good sign about the food here.” She began to laugh a little again, and then listened as Jackson spoke about heading off to start the plans now and then added he would send his mum a text. “That sounds good to me Jackson.” Emma replied as she then waited to see what the outcome of the text was. Soon enough he got a reply and told Emma that his mum was indeed free. “Alright, well I’ll just text my mum back again and tell her to do the same thing.” Emma then sent another text asking her mum to meet them at their apartment, and seconds later she got a reply saying she would be there soon. “Well my mum is on her way, so this should be good.” With Emma being the bride her parents were rather ecstatic about it all especially her mum.
When Jackson came back out after going inside to pay for their meals, she looked at him and smiled, “So, did you ask if they would do catering for us?” After Jackson had replied he said he had to pick something up at the studio and could he meet her back at their place. “Sure, I’ll see you in around half an hour then maybe? Mum will probably be waiting for me when I arrive back.” Not that her mum had a key to their apartment, she just meant that she would more than likely be waiting outside for her to arrive. Emma then made her way to her own car and headed back to their apartment, a trip which should only take a few minutes.

Jackson nodded as Emma spoke about the venue which her twenty-first was held in, and wondering whether it would hold the wedding reception. "I can't see it being a problem, Em. There were quite a few people at the party, and really some of them probably won't come to the wedding reception. So I think it will be do-able. And also we did keep the numbers of how much we bought for the party, so it will be alot easier this time around." Jackson still couldn't believe that Marcus had found the place out of the blue. It had been a fantastic place for her twenty-first.
Jackson gave Emma a smile, as she said that her mum was free for the day. "Cool, well that is great news. Seems like today is the day when most of the planning will get done then." He reached over and gave Emma's hand a gentle squeeze. Jackson was still sometimes finding it hard to believe his life was going this way. The chance meeting with Emma was just the start of thei wonderful life together. There had been many obstacles, but they were able to work through them together, no matter how tough it got. Now Jackson had a baby on the way, a wedding to organise with Emma, and his band was doing fabulously. What more could he ask for?
Jackson raised his eyebrows a little, when Emma said that they could get to know what sex the baby was, but no, she still wanted it to be a surprise. "Well whatever the sex, I know that it will be more than enough loved by both of us." Jackson still got butterflies thinking that he was going to have a child that was going to look up to him, and who would need it's constant attention. But Jackson felt ready. He felt more than ready really. Jackson then nodded in agreement to what Emma said about the food, and they wanted to have happy guests at the wedding.
Jackson gave Emma the biggest smile, when she said that this was the first time she had felt fully satified after eating something. Jackson then texted his mum, who was also free to help with the organisation of the wedding. So in the end both mothers were going to meet them both at their apartment. "Great. Well we should go then." Emma then asked him if he asked about the catering. "Oh yeah. The owner said that they were more than willing to cater it for us. Isn't that great. When we finalise details, we can then let them know of numbers, and whatever else."
After Jackson said that he had to go and pick up something from the studio, Emma replied, and Jackson gave her a soft, but lingering kiss. Once they parted, he placed a hand on Emma's stomache, looking at her. "I will see you both soon." He then turned and headed in the direction of the studio. Jackson glanced back as Emma headed towards her car, and he turned back then smiling to himself. Yes, he was definately lucky.

When Emma had asked about the venue they had used for her twenty first being suitable for the wedding reception she nodded her head and smiled as Jackson replied. “That’s great you kept the numbers for the party. I really liked that place, so I might get Marcus to pop in and ask about it as I know he wants to help in any way he can too.” It definitely seemed like everything was falling into place now, and if they got together with both their moms later they might discover they’re more than half way there to getting the plans completed.
After Emma had commented that her mum was free Jackson replied saying it was cool and that it would seem that they would get most of their plans done that day. She smiled brightly and nodded her head as she had just thought the very same thing herself only seconds ago. “It does seem that way.” Jackson then leaned over and gave her hand a gentle squeeze and Emma smiled back. Emma couldn’t believe how much her life had changed. A few months ago she didn’t even have a boyfriend and now she was engaged, pregnant and planning her wedding. It was amazing where a few months could lead you but Emma was in her element, she was probably one of the happiest women alive right now.
Emma couldn’t help but smile warmly when Jackson said the baby would be more than enough loved by both of them whether they had a boy or a girl. She could only nod her head in agreement to that. In some ways it would have been nice to know the sex of the baby so they could plan ahead, but Emma loved surprises and finding out the sex of the baby beforehand would break that
Jackson had then confirmed tha this own mum was free too and they should get going, but Emma had then asked if he spoke about the catering. She grinned when he replied, “That’s great, and everything seems to be falling into place.” Emma said with a huge grin and then Jackson said he had to go to the studio to collect something he had left behind. Jackson then gave her a soft kiss but one which lingered and after he parted he placed a hand on her stomach telling her he would see them both soon. Emma put her hand over his quickly and nodded smiling, “Yes you will.” Emma then began to make her way toward the car feeling the happiest she had ever felt in a very long time.
