Saturday, 24th October, 2009 It had been almost two weeks since Jo had taken ill causing Stefan much worry, he thought he was going to lose her and he would have done anything at that point to save her, even taking her soul if necessary, the one thing he had sworn never to do to another human, but having Jo in his life was too precious to him, he couldn’t live without her of that he was certain. Thankfully his good friend Ryan came to the rescue and managed to save Jo and giving her a new power, one of which Stefan had dreamed about her having the day she had asked him to make her one of his own kind and he had refused. She now had the power to self heal which meant she would stay young just like Stefan, they would be able to be with each for eternity, both looking the way they currently do. Stefan knew Jo was the one for him the minute he set eyes on her the night he had gone to help her and he proposed to her a short time after, thankfully she said yes, she made him the happiest man alive in his undead world. Now they hadn’t even been together officially for a month yet but Stefan knew how he felt and he couldn’t wait to make her his own any longer and decided to plan a little trip and surprise on Jo. He had gone to Las Vegas the day before, something Stefan could do with his excessive speed as a vampire and got a license for them to marry. The one State that Stefan knew gave instant licenses and would marry the same day if necessary. Although Stefan could have taken Jo on his back to Las Vegas using his excessive speed he decided to book them flights, because he wanted them to take some luggage, as he wasn’t stopping at just them getting married in Las Vegas, no, he wanted them to have a honeymoon, even if it was just for a few days, after everything they had been through in recent weeks Stefan knew they needed the break. He even had the honeymoon booked, the only thing he hadn’t thought about while planning all of this was something for Jo to wear, but he figured she might have something pretty and if not, then he’d just buy her something when they got to Las Vegas. Once he got a bag packed for himself, as they were still living in their own apartments although Stefan was with Jo almost every night, he decided to send her a quick text. Josephine, my love, pack a small bag, I am taking you on a trip. A pretty dress would be nice, but if not, do not worry, I shall buy you one. I shall see you soon. xx Stefan then got together the tickets and the money they would require for where he was taking her, grabbed his bag and began making his way to Jo’s apartment. He decided to use the old method of driving a car to her apartment. Usually he would just use his speed and virtually fly there himself, but for some reason he wanted to keep everything simple, as human as possible you could say, seeing how he had planned for everything else to be as normal as possible. After about a fifteen minute drive he arrived at Jo’s apartment. He got out the car and immediately ran up the steps, once he was at her apartment door, even though he had a key, he always shout through the letterbox first so she would know it was he who was about to open the door. He had never just walked into her apartment, not with the fact she suffered from panic attacks after being attacked that time. “Josephine, my love, I am here.” With that he opened the door and made his way into her living room and as he approached he couldn’t help but then say, “Where are you my love, I have missed you so much.” He had only left her the night before but he missed not being with her, when he wasn’t with her he felt like a piece of him was missing, they just fit so well together, and now, today, he wanted to make that commitment which would finally bind them together for eternity.

Josephine sat at her desk in her room, just surfing the internet, trying to find more information on her new ability. She had of cause obtained a copy of the book that she had hoped would hold the answers to all the questions she still held in her mind. But not all were answered, even after Stefan and his friend, Ryan, spoke of the new ability when Ryan gave it to her. Though two things were certain in her mind. One, she was happy that she had met and fallen deeply in love with Stefan. And two, that she was now going to grow old whith Stefan, but still look the way she looked almost two weeks ago. She was the happiest she has ever been in a long time. But still finding out the whole thing about her new ability was still her priority, though Stefan was still her priority in her life as well. She loved him so much, it hurt sometimes to be away from him. It was like her heart was breaking into a million pieces, and were just evaporating inside her body. Working kept her sane, knowing that she was to be an independent woman as well as a lover to Stefan. That first night that they shared was so magical and wonderful in her eyes, and each night after that was just as powerful as the last. So now they were going to be together forever, especially when now they were engaged. Jo hoped that they would get married soon, so knew that that topic would come up soon about wedding plans. Just as Jo diverted from the site she was looking at to check emails, her phone came to life with a message from Stefan. She smiled to herself, reaching for it, and looking at the message. Jo frowned a little when she read he wanted her to pack a bag, then reading on about a pretty dress. Well really, Jo wasn't normally the type to dress up as such, so that might be a bit hard, she thought. Jo decided to text him back with her reply: Very curious now. Will have to buy one as I don't own anything nice. See you soon. Love J. Jo put her phone down, and soon realised that maybe Stefan would be here in a matter of minutes, or in a minute if he came his normally way of travel. Jo went straight to her draws, and began to take out items which would fit in a small bag. After packing underwear, Jo reached for some clothes in her wardrobe, not really knowing what to bring or what the weather would be like wherever they were going. So she packed a bit of everything. Once she was satified with what she added, as well as toiletries, Jo closed the bag. Looking at her watch, she moved the bag to the main door, so that it was easier for her later. Jo moved back into her bedroom, and sat down. She picked up her iPod, and began to see if she needed to add anything else to it for the trip. But knowing that she mightn't get a chance to actually listen to anything, with what they might get up to. Jo put her iPod into her small handbag, along with making sure her phone was in there, purse, and other little things that she liked to carry. She then went back to the computer, and began to get engrossed in what she was doing. After ten minutes, Jo thought she heard a voice. She hadn't gone through a panic attack in so long, but didn't want it to start now. Jo slowly got up, and began to head towards the lounge room, when she heard the all too familiar voice. A smile crept onto her face, and was soon in front of Stefan. "I have missed you too, Stefan." Jo flung her arms around his neck, and pressed her lips to his own, then began to passionately kiss him.

It didn’t take long for Jo to reply to Stefan’s text he had to chuckle at the curious line and then shake his head when he read she didn’t own anything nice. That was a lie, everything Jo wore was nice. He was going to text her back to say as much but then thought he would rather just tell her that in person. So, rather than wait any longer, he gathered his things together and made his way to get Jo at her apartment, the human way. He hoped that she wouldn’t be too shocked at his plans for them that day, but really Stefan was completely in love with Josephine and he just wanted to make her his wife. They were going to be together for eternity, growing ‘young’ together it was awesome, given how upset Jo was when he had refused to make her one of his own kind and now she had an ability which would make her stay eternally young.
Even travelling by car soon Stefan was outside Jo’s apartment and before entering he spoke in a voice hopefully loud enough to let her know that he had arrived. He then made his way into the living room and asking where she was and that he had missed her. It was true, he knew they both had to work and of course they both did, but he missed her terribly. Getting married was just another way to bring them that bit closer together, even though he virtually stayed with her every night at her apartment anyway. But he was going to ask if she would consider moving into his apartment instead. Not that it was overly flashy by any means, but it wasn’t your average small apartment for one either.
Soon Jo was in front of him telling him she had missed him too and threw her arms around his neck and began to kiss him passionately. Stefan wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him as they kissed, then one hand moved all the way up her back until it reached her neck and he began to gently massage her neck in circular motions as they continued to kiss. After a few moments he gently broke apart, not that he needed air or anything, but they had a schedule to keep to now, not that Jo knew it as such. He then began to wonder if he should tell her what he had planned for them, or if he should just tell her where they were going at least. He decided on the latter option, “I am taking you to Las Vegas, but do not worry, I have more planned for us than just going to Las Vegas.” He thought he should add in about more being planned in case the idea of going to Las Vegas didn’t exactly fill her with a lot of excitement.
He took a quick look around and noticing the time on the clock he knew they should be going. “Have you got everything you need do you think?” He asked giving her a deep smile and gently removing his arms from around her waist. “We have a flight to catch, so we should be getting ready to leave soon, so we can get to the airport in plenty of time.” He didn’t want to rush her, but he didn’t want for them to be late and miss their flight, as it would spoil all the other plans he had for them for that day. “Where is your bag Josephine my love?” He was going to carry it out to the car for her being the true gentleman Stefan was, what with growing up in the eighteen hundreds.

Just hearing his voice, and seeing him in front of her made her so happy. She hated being away from him, and loved every minute that they spent together. That kiss she gave him was one that she always did when she hadn't seen him in a few hours, or even one hour. Feeling his arms around her waist, made her moan a bit, pressing her body onto his, getting into the kiss, losing herself almost, feeling Stefan pull her closer. As they continued to kiss, she felt his hand moved up her back, feeling her back arch as he did this, soon feeling that hand up at her neck, feeling his hand then massage her neck. Again she let out a moan, loving every moment of his touch. She was in heaven, in ecstasy.
But then they broke apart, and she slowly opened her eyes to look at him. Jo looked at Stefan. "That was some kiss then. Didn't think I would be able to stop." She half laughed then, and Stefan then told her where he was taking her, and that he had mored planned. "Oh really, Stefan? And I wonder what those plans might entail." Feeling slightly cheeky then, Jo moved one arm from his neck, and slowly placed her hand on his arse. She didn't say anything, just looked at him, hoping he would get what she meant. But then she lent up to his ear, whispering, "Sorry. Just feeling a bit frisky I guess." Jo then pulled away from his ear, smirking a bit. If a trip to Las Vegas did this to her, then what would happen when it came to their actual wedding night. But they still had to plan something, though really they had enough time for all of that.
Stefan then asked her if she had everything, removing his arms from around her. Jo nodded slowly, "I think so. As I didn't know where we were going, I packed a bit of everything." She listened more to what he said, and raised her eyebrows. "So no hot tailing then?" Jo laughed at what she said, knowing that it would have been too much for him to carry her plus all their luggage. When he asked her where her bag was, Jo pointed toward the bag near the door. "Over there. I kind of rushed packing, thinking that you were going to take your usual mode of transport. But I do think I have everything, except the 'nice' thing that you asked me to pack. Might have to go shopping for that one." Jo had some nice things in all honesty, but didn't know what sort of 'nice' thing that Stefan had referred to.

When Jo and Stefan began to kiss he had moved one of his hands slowly up her back until it reached her neck and began to massage it. It was a typical move of Stefan’s and one he enjoyed doing, as it would turn him on as much as he was sure it did Jo, especially when she let out little moans like she was doing right then. Stefan let out a few moans of pleasure himself, and realising that it might get out of hand very quickly he gently pulled back from it, knowing he had to keep to the time schedule of his secret plan for Jo. When Jo spoke saying that it was some kiss, he just smiled deeply at her. “Every kiss we share is magical my love. I did not think I would be able to stop either, but we had to.” He knew that would get Jo curious and so he decided to tell her some of his plan for the trip that he was taking her on. He had to laugh a little at Jo’s response, “Yes really, my love.” She had continued to say she wondered what it might entail and he was about to answer when he felt her hand on his ass. “That is a very welcoming move Josephine, however it will not make me tell you of the rest of my plan as then it would no longer be a surprise.” He couldn’t stop smiling at her, and he just hoped she wouldn’t be too upset at him taking away all the plans and preparation of the wedding away from her by surprising her like that. He somehow didn’t think so, but it was still very much at the back of his mind. Jo then leaned up to his ear and apologised for feeling a bit frisky. He looked down at her with a passionate look on his face, “There is no need to apologise, but I believe there will be enough time for all of that later.” Oh yes, he definitely had more of that kind of behaviour planned for the evening and night. Stefan had then asked Jo if she had everything, he smiled at her response when she said she thought so and had packed a bit of everything not knowing where he was taking her. “Well I do not think you will need clothes for cold weather, however I may be mistaken so it was probably a wise move.” He knew Las Vegas was unusually warm all year round and where he had planned to take her after the event the following day, he was pretty sure if his timing was right, the weather would just be perfect, not too hot but not exactly cold either. Stefan had then mentioned they had a flight to catch and he had to let out a laugh at Jo’s question. “No I am afraid not, for what I have planned, I feel the conventional method would be far more appropriate.” He shook his head a little but still smiling, with his eyes sparkling. He knew he could have gotten them there in a matter of minutes to a half hour, but he just thought the flight would be better what with having luggage as well, so instead it would take them almost six hours to get to Las Vegas from New York. Stefan was glad he had booked the early morning flight of eight in the morning, as it meant they would still have time to buy Jo her special dress and then time for the ceremony which he had booked for four in the afternoon, so he was praying there would be no delays in the flights, his only complaint against the conventional method of flying. Stefan then asked Jo where her bag was so he could lift it to take out to the car. Jo answered and also added that she had rushed packing thinking he was going to take his usual mode of transport and that she was sure she had everything but the nice thing. Stefan really didn’t want to give much away about his plan, but he replied to her as best he could. “I am sure you have plenty of nice things Josephine, but actually I think given what I have planned that to buy one would be the best solution.” Stefan then grabbed Jo’s bag and turned to her, “Ready my love?” Once Jo had stepped out and locked her apartment door, he made his way with one hand carrying the bag and the other holding her hand, to his car. He soon had her bag in the boot along with his own and he then unlocked the car and opened the passenger door for Jo. Once she was inside, he gently closed the door and made his way round to the driver’s side and soon he was in the car and heading in the direction of the airport. **** ½ an hour later **** Stefan pulled into the car park of the airport at the park and ride section, and once he and Jo were out of the car and he got their luggage out, he locked the car and taking Jo’s hand once more, made his way inside the terminal to the park and ride section first of all. He handed over his car keys, and they gave him a ticket with a number on it and told him to keep it safe to have his keys returned to him when he was home. He put the ticket into his wallet and then headed toward the check in desk which thankfully had no queue, once the usual questions were asked about whether their bags had been left unattended or not, both bags were checked in and Stefan soon had them on the plane. Once they were both settled Stefan turned to Jo and leaned into her ear, “It is a six hour flight, I hope you have brought something to pass the time? I know I have.” With that Stefan leaned in to give her a kiss, the luxury of travelling first class was that they had their own little private seats because each section was curtained off.

Jo heard Stefan moaning as they kissed, and it was definately turning her own somewhat. After they had parted, and Jo had commented on the kiss, she smiled warmly at him when Stefan commented. It seemed that each time they shared a kiss, or something more, it was sometimes hard to stop. Jo had never felt like that with anyone, and each time she was with Stefan, she felt sad to know that he would soon leave, or she woud have to leave, for work. But Jo knew that she needed her independence, though every minute apart from Stefan was agony. She finally nodded, knowing that there was nothing more to say. After she had put her hand on Stefan's ass, Jo listened to what he said in reply. She pouted slightly, pretending to feel sad at him not sharing, but then Jo slowly grinned, looking sideways. "Fine. I will just have to keep thinking about it, rather than thinking about you." She sighed slightly, shrugging her shoulders. Then she apologised for feeling frisky, which led to Stefan looked at her in a way she always loved. Just hearing that there would be time for all of that later, made Jo smiled brightly. "Good. I can't wait." She felt like a kid who knew that there was a big present waiting for her once the boring stuff was done. Jo nodded at Stefan's comment on the clothes issue. "Well I will just keep the clothes in there, just in case." Once Stefan confirmed that they were in fact flying via aeroplane, she shook her head, giggling slightly. "Okay. It will be nice to just snuggled then for the flight to Las Vegas." Just visualising that was nice in Jo's mind. After Stefan asked her where her bag was, and Jo made a commet about rushing, and not thinking she had the nice thing he asked for, Stefan replied. Jo smiled at him, looking down. It was a mystery still as to what he was doing for her. Maybe he has a nice dinner planned or maybe a show in Vegas, what with me needing something nice, thought Jo. Stefan then had her bag, and asked if she was ready. Jo smiled warmly at him, "Yes. More than ready." She looked around at her apartment, knowing that she did have everything, and had locked up the apartment before Stefan had arrived. They soon departed the room, and Jo locked the door behind them. Jo walked hand in hand with Stefan, as they headed towards his car. Once her bag was safely put into the boot, Stefan opened her door, and Jo got in. She lent back, wondering what the day would bring for them. **** 1/2 an hour later **** After the drive, they were soon at the airport. Jo was still trying to figure out what Stefan had planned, and was still thinking about the dinner and show thing. Sure they could have done that here in New York, but going somewhere else for that same reason, was kind of nice too. Once their bags were out, Jo let Stefan take her hand, and she walked with him to give his keys over. That was done, and they were soon heading into get their bags checked, and soon were on the plane. Jo hadn't done a lot of flying in her life, so when it was a long gap between flying, she got a little nervous. And normally she wouldn't fly first class. She felt how nice the seats were, and the being alone thing hadn't gone unnoticed either. Stefan turned to her, and spoke about how long the flight was, and if she had anything to pass the time, because he had. Jo gave him a small smile, then felt his lips on hers. As they kissed, her nerves started to leave her, and it felt good. Jo parted from Stefan, and gave him a big bigger smile. "I have bought something with me, knowing that I am a nervous flyer." Jo rummage through her bag, and pulled out her iPod, and then turned to smile at him. "I never leave home without it." She giggled slightly, then lent her head on his shoulder.

When Stefan told Jo that her hand on his ass wasn’t about to reveal his secret plans he had to laugh a little at her pout and then he saw her begin to grin as she looked sideways. When she commented all Stefan could do was smile knowing that he had still been able to keep the main surprise a secret from her. When she spoke saying she would just have to keep thinking about it rather than him, it was his turn to grin. “That sounds like a good plan to me Josephine my love.” After Stefan told Jo there was no need to apologise and that there would be plenty of time for fun later, he had to laugh lightly at her response. “Trust me Josephine my love, I cannot wait either.” And Stefan wasn’t just referring to the fun later, he was referring to the moment they would become husband and wife. The idea of Jo carrying his name for the rest of their lives filled him with joy, and that was going to be for a very long time indeed, since they were both now technically immortal. Stefan nodded his head and smiled as Jo confirmed she would just keep the clothes she had packed in the bag; chances were she might need slightly warmer clothes where he was going to take her afterward if he had got the seasons wrong. “Very well my love.” Stefan had then confirmed they were indeed flying the conventional method and he had to smile lovingly at her response when she spoke of snuggling up together. “Well, that is exactly what I was thinking; snuggling together for the whole flight will be very nice indeed.” It was very difficult to spend time apart from Jo, even though he knew they both needed their own space, but every time they were apart he just felt incomplete. Marrying her would hopefully resolve that hole he felt when he had to leave to go to work, or when Jo had to go to work. After Stefan got Jo’s bag he asked if she was ready and he returned her warm smile with one of his own, “That makes two of us my love.” They were going to have the most wonderful day he could just sense it. Then the following day they were off to where he had booked their honeymoon, he just hoped she would like his choice of destination. He had been a few times and always loved the beauty of the country, he was also a fan of their wildlife, one cute little animal in particular. Soon they were in Stefan’s car and he soon had them both heading in the direction of the airport. **** ½ an hour later **** Once at the airport and all the essentials were carried out, they were both soon on the plane, sitting in their own private curtained off compartment in first class. After Stefan had told Jo about the flight length and asked if she had anything to pass the time because he had, he had moved in to kiss her. When Jo parted from him, she began to talk explaining that she was a nervous flyer and soon rummaged in her bag and brought out an iPod. “I see, nice piece of technology you have brought with you my love.” However, when he spoke of having something to pass his time, he wasn’t exactly referring to listening to music or reading a book, by kissing Jo he thought he had made it clear what he had in mind for passing the time. No, no, nothing like that, Stefan didn’t belong in the mile high club, no we’re talking about tender moments of kissing and cuddling. Jo then continued to talk saying she never left home without it. “That is wonderful my love, however...” He trailed off for a second and lifted the iPod from her and placed it back into her bag, “...I was not referring to music or anything, I was referring more to this.” He then leaned in and began to kiss her again as he put his hand around her neck. He knew that he wouldn’t be able to continue it for too long because the passion always built between them so strongly and so quickly and they wouldn’t be able to continue it, but he couldn’t see the harm in the occasional embrace. As he continued to kiss her, and his hand began to massage the back of her neck, he could feel the passion burning within and he began to moan slightly and he knew he would have to pull back. “Alright, maybe listening to this is a good idea.” He pulled the iPod back out and passed it to her with an apologetic look on his face, but he kept his arm around her shoulder, allowing for her head to rest on his shoulder. As Stefan continued to get comfortable he soon began to feel his eyes close and the next thing he knew he heard the captain announce that they were about to land in Las Vegas. ****6 hours later**** Stefan hadn’t meant to sleep through the whole flight, after all he lived more or less like a human, it wasn’t as if he was nocturnal, maybe a part of him just felt it would be easier if he slept through the flight so his passion would be kept under control. Now that they were in Las Vegas they had quite a tight schedule to keep to in order for him to get them to The Corinthian where he had booked a registrar to perform the ceremony there for them. He wondered if Ryan would be able to come and do the honours of being his best man like he had asked him the week previously. He knew that it was a little unfair for him to have someone he knew there and Jo to have nobody, but he figured they could have a party for a reception when they got back home for anybody who had missed the ceremony. Once they had claimed their bags Stefan led them to the hired car area, “I booked a car for our time in Las Vegas, which will help us get around. First we have to book into the hotel, and then Josephine my love, we shall buy the special something for you to wear. And I will be honoured if you would allow me to buy it for you, but I have one condition, it must be a dress and be either white or ivory, is that alright?” Now he had probably just given away the biggest clue as to what his surprise was, if he had and she guessed and asked him about it, then he would have to confess. With that he got the keys to the hired car, and soon had them on their way to The Corinthian Casino and Hotel complex, which he was able to get a hold of for the event through Ryan.

Just hearing Stefan comment on her own snuggling comment made Jo smile. She couldn't wait to get on board the plane, despite her slight fear of flying. But with him by her side, Jo knew that she would be okay. Snuggling with Stefan while she listened to her iPod - the one thing that would keep her sane. **** 1/2 an hour later **** After Jo had said that she did in fact have something to pass the time with, showing her iPod, Stefan had commented. She knew what he had meant about passing the time, but she needed her 'security blanket' as well as him. Stefan spoke again, after she said that she never left home without it, and he put it back in her bag. She frowned slightly, and then he finished his sentence, and the frown left her face as he kissed her. Jo was soon getting into the kiss, and again loving his hand on her neck. It just felt so good there when they kissed. Jo moved one hand, placing it on his body, and in her mind wanted her hands to just take his shirt off. Normally a kiss would just lead to something else, but really they were in an aeroplane, and that couldn't happen, unless they took it to the toilet, which was too small anyway, and not very romantic. As they kissed, Jo began to moan slightly, hearing Stefan do the same. If they didn't stop soon, Jo just might start doing what she wanted to do in her head. Stefan finally pulled away, and brought out her iPod again, commented that it might be better to listen to it. Jo gave him a sheepish grin. "You are probably right." She unlocked it, and put it to mix, putting the earphones in her ears. It was nice to just sit there, with his arm around her. Jo had the two things that she could rely on, and it made her content. **** 6 hours later **** Jo hadn't slept at all the whole flight, enjoying her music very much. But she did occassionally move in her seat, and catch a look at Stefan. He looked so peaceful, as always, when he slept, despite what he was, Stefan would never hurt a fly, unless it came to her if someone was to hurt her. They soon got off the plane, and got their bags. Stefan then lead her to where the hire cars section was. She listened to what he said, and nodded. "It would be much better than having to hail taxi's everywhere we go." Though Jo had no idea what they would be up to, but really in a city like this, you never know who you might meet, especially with others like her that might not be on the good side. Jo listened to the rest of what Stefan said, and nodded when he said that he hoped that she would allow him to buy it for her. She didn't mind in the slightest, it would be like he was spoiling her, which she liked. She was a girl after all, even though she sometimes acted like a tomboy. Jo heard what he said at the end, and she nodded. But then it hit her, and she let out a gasp, putting her hand over her mouth. "Oh Stefan, we're not... You didn't... Oh my..." Jo felt her eyes bulging out of her head in surprise. She hadn't expected it to be this soon when they got married, but then she felt a happiness come over her. "Oh Stefan..." That was all she got out, before she flung her arms around his neck. After she hugged him, Jo pulled away from him, and then looked at him, smiling so much. "I should have figured it out sooner, what with coming here. I am such an idiot. No wonder you wanted something nice." Jo shook her head in disbelief. Soon enough Stefan got the keys for the car, and they made their way to wherever Stefan had them going. Jo looked down at her engagement ring, thinking that she was soon going to have two rings on that finger, and she would soon be Mrs. Stefan Winchester. {ooc - I have a feeling I know where he is taking her - but going to wait till they get there. lol}

{ooc - you are probably right on where he is taking her - I think I gave away some big clues lol} When Stefan had taken the iPod from Jo and put it back into her bag so he could kiss her, he saw that slight frown on her face. He did wonder for just a second if he should let her carry on with listening to it, but instead, he chose to carry on with putting it in her bag and moved in to kiss her. When he was around Jo he found it very difficult not to touch her, whether it be to hold her in his arms in a hug, to kiss her, make love to her, he always had to be around her in some way, which was why taking her off to get married seemed like the best thing to do, to seal the unbreakable bond between them with marriage vows. As they both kissed Stefan could feel Jo was getting into the kiss, and soon enough the burning passion they always felt began to rise. He soon felt Jo’s hand on his chest, and just the feel of it there made him want to take it further, so he knew in that single moment he would have to stop. It just wasn’t appropriate on the aeroplane to take things to that level. Their moans began to increase and finally much to his disappointment he had to pull back from her gently, telling her that listening to her iPod was maybe a good idea after all, giving her an apologetic look. He gave her a weak smile when she smiled sheepishly at him, he felt terrible for getting them both fired up for a kiss. He should know better with the way their kisses always worked out. Jo agreed that he was probably right, “I am sorry my love.” However he knew that he would be able to more than make up for it later, once they were in their hotel room. Stefan had then put his arm around Jo and he watched with a look of love on his face as she settled into position and as she did so, every so often until Stefan fell asleep that was, he would kiss her on her head. **** 6 hours later **** When Jo commented about the hiring of a car saying that it would be much better than them having to hail down taxi’s everywhere, he nodded his head giving her a warm smile. He loved how he had been able to keep this all a surprise from her so far. “Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking.” It had nothing to do with the cost, not that Stefan was loaded with money by any means, but he was certainly comfortable and could afford some luxuries in life, luxuries which Jo would be able to enjoy with him. He had then said he would be honoured to buy her the special something but he had one condition, it had to be a dress and it had to be either white or ivory. It was the biggest clue to his surprise he had given away and he wondered if Jo would catch it. Her reply soon gave him the answer that she had indeed caught the clue. It was so nice to see her so surprised and so happy, it made his heart melt, and he couldn’t do anything but smile deeply at her. “Yes Josephine my love, I did.” That was all he was able to get out before she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. Naturally he wrapped his arms around her waist and hugged her close to him. He was so in love with her, he couldn’t wait to be able to introduce her to people as his wife. Jo then pulled away from the hug saying she should have figured it out sooner, Stefan shook his head a little, and “Why would you though? I think I did a very good job of keeping this a secret from you. I only hope that you are not disappointed my love, that I took all the excitement of planning a wedding away from you?” He had a slight look of concern on his face then, as he would hate to have upset her, although given her reaction he didn’t think he had upset her at all, but Stefan always liked to confirm these things. Jo’s last few words circled back into his brain, “And you are not an idiot, you are my beautiful fiancée soon to be wife whom I want to treat like a princess for the rest of our lives together, for eternity. I love you Josephine Harding soon to be Winchester.” He couldn’t help but grin when he said those last few words, Josephine Winchester had such a nice sound to it. Stefan then got the keys to the car and an assistant walked out with them both to take them to the vehicle. Even the vehicle was one of luxury, Stefan had hired a Cadillac; well nothing but the best for his princess, once she was in her special dress, he wanted her to arrive at the Corinthian in comfort and style. Stefan gave the assistant a tip and then he immediately opened the passenger door for Jo. Once Stefan had put their luggage into the boot and he was inside the car, he took them off in the general direction of The Corinthian Hotel, which was about a half hour drive away from the airport. The Corinthian Hotel and Casino was a massive complex, it was also a very expensive hotel, but he had been given the room for the day and night from Ryan as a wedding gift. Other than the honeymoon, Stefan had one more surprise for Jo, well if he was going to have Ryan there as a best man, Jo needed a witness and a bridesmaid, so he had gotten in touch with Emma Woods, who was a good friend to Jo despite the fact she was no longer dating Emma’s brother, and she was only too pleased to do the honours for the both of them.

When Stefan said sorry, she looked up at him, and shook her head slightly, "No need to say sorry. It is just probably a good idea to keep it all for later." It was just nice to just sit there comfortably in Stefan's company, and she grinned to herself, as he kissed her head on and off till he apparently fell asleep. **** 6 hours later **** Jo hadn't gotten out complete sentences, but it seemed that Stefan knew what she was getting at, especially with his comment. She had then wrapped her arms around him, loving what he had done. Feeling him pull her close, made her smile all the more. Jo then pulled away a little, and spoke, then shrugged when Stefan spoke. "I don't know, and yes you did. I never even took anything you did under a watchful eye, but I am sure that you did all planning when you weren't around me, which wasn't a lot." They were pretty much inseparable since they met, and what time they were apart was all work related. So it seemed that Stefan was planning this little trip durin work time. Naughty him. "And no, I am not disappointed. I knew that we would have to start planning soon, so maybe it is for the best that we basically elopled. Though, you might have some explaining to do with my mum." She giggled a little then, just imagining her mum's face and voice. Though Jo also knew that she hadn't told her mum about the fact that her ability had changed and that her fiancee, soon-to-be husband was a vampire. Jo grinned looking down at the ground, when Stefan said that she wasn't an idiot. Just hearing the words that he said after that, made Jo love him all the more. Stefan always said the sweetest things to her, and she loved him for it. She always felt special when with him, and very much loved. Jo turned to look up at Stefan as he spoke of what her last name would be. She gently put a hand on his face, "I love you too Stefan Winchester, and I can't wait to take your name as my own." Jo was so normally 'Miss Independent', and in some ways she still was, but she truly did love Stefan, though could never be apart from him for too long as it hurt so much. Soon enough they were taken to the car, a Cadillac no less, and Stefan opened the door for her. Jo got in, and she put the seatbelt over herself, clipping it into place. As they made their way to wherever they were staying, Jo had looked at the engagement ring. She then turned to Stefan, not wanting to put him off driving, but needed to say something. "So, who do we know in Las Vegas who can witness the ceremony, Stefan? I dont have that many friends who could be here." The only person that Jo knew well enough was Emma Woods, but really would she want to be a part of it? Jo had nothing against her at all, after Marcus broke off the relationship with Jo, but in some ways she still blamed herself. If she hadn't of gotten stabbed.... Jo then shook her head, getting rid of the past from her head. She had to stop thinking of the past, and look ahead to the future. The future that now consisted of Stefan. As they drove, Jo had another thought, and knew what she wanted in the dress, despite her not wearing many dresses in her life. Was never her thing, though it depended on the circumstances. "And I think I would like a white dress Stefan, what with it being my first wedding, and hopefully my only one." She smiled, then sighed, as she looked at Stefan. Sometimes she wondered how she got him in the first place, but knew that she would have him for eternity now.

Stefan couldn’t help but smile at Jo when she said she didn’t know why she should have known and then she added that he did keep a secret and that he must have done the planning when he wasn’t with her and that wasn’t often. “Well the breaks during work helped, and do not forget the speed I have, I can get around different things very fast when I have to.” His smile then broke into a grin feeling rather impressed with the way he had been able to plan it all without her knowledge, it had taken some doing in honesty. Stefan had then said he hoped she wasn’t disappointed that he took all the planning away from her. He was glad to hear that she wasn’t disappointed, which made him smile again, but Jo added they might a bit of explaining to do to her mom. Stefan hadn’t thought about that, all he wanted was to marry his love. Even though he caught Jo giggling, he still couldn’t help but say; “I never even thought about how your mom would react, Josephine my love, I am so very sorry.” Stefan then decided to get a little funny with Jo then, something he didn’t do very often for fear of his humour not coming out right, “Hopefully then my charms will work on your mom as well as they did on you, although maybe not just quite as well.” After all he didn’t want Josephine’s mom lusting after him, there was only one woman for him in his life, and that was his Josephine. It did make him wonder how Jo’s mom would react to him especially when she found out he was a vampire, after all it wouldn’t be every day your daughter came home and said they had fallen in love and married a vampire. Stefan was a good guy though and seldom entered into any sort of violence unless he was defending someone he cared about and this instance it was now Josephine. After Stefan told Jo that she was no idiot, she was his beautiful fiancée soon to be wife, he had then added that he loved her using her soon to be surname, he felt Jo put her hand on his face which he always automatically put his hand on top as if he was holding it there, closing his eyes for a few seconds loving the feel as always of her skin against his own. Hearing the words coming from Jo made him open his eyes again and smile down at her, “And I cannot wait to make you my wife.” Stefan then used the hand which was over her own on his face, and moved it so that he brought Jo’s hand to his lips and he kissed the back of it. Once they were in the Cadillac and Stefan began to take them to get checked into The Corinthian Hotel, Jo asked about witnesses for the ceremony. Damn he thought, that was going to be a surprise, he wondered if he should just play dumb to keep it a surprise or if he should just tell her. He decided to keep it as a surprise, because Emma said she would make sure she got there in time to surprise Jo just before the ceremony was due to begin. Not wanting it to sound bad saying he had Ryan as a Best Man when it would appear Jo would have nobody there special she knew he decided for the sake of the surprise to tell a little lie. “Well the registrar who is going to perform the ceremony for us, said she could bring two general witnesses along for each of us, I said that would be fine. I hope that is alright?” He hated lying as he was never very good at it, but for the sake of the surprise it was required, he just hoped that until she found out about the other surprise that she wouldn’t be too disappointed. A little later, Jo spoke again saying she would like a white dress what with it being her first wedding and hopefully only one. Stefan glanced at her and smiled, “I agree with you, I cannot wait to see you in the dress as you walk toward me. And I should hope that you will not be getting married again soon, unless we are renewing our wedding vows of course.” It was another attempt at humour for Stefan and he hoped that she got the humour intended behind it. About five minutes later they arrived at huge Corinthian Hotel and Casino complex, the soon as Stefan pulled up outside a doorman made his way over to Stefan. “Can I park the car for you Sir?” Stefan shook his head, “Not at the moment Sir, we are just checking in.” The doorman bowed slightly, “Very well Sir.” He then made his way back to the entrance of the hotel and Stefan soon made his way round and opened the door for Jo, holding his hand out for her to take. He pushed the button to lock the door and soon began to lead Jo toward the entrance. As Stefan walked them up to the reception desk he turned to Jo, “What do you think of the place?” It was massive with the casino off to the left of the ground floor, with various bars all around and to the right were a few function suites, one of those would be where their nuptials would take place. “I hope you love it, as we are going to get married here.” Once he got to the desk the receptionist smiled at him. Stefan smiled back, “Winchester for two, I believe Mr. Ryan Linderman arranged the room for us?” Stefan hoped this was the case or he was going to look a fool in front of the receptionist and Jo. She soon nodded her head, “Yes of course. You are in the honeymoon suite of the hotel.” She then handed Stefan the key. “I was also instructed to show the room to you where you are to be married in a couple of hours.” With that she stood out from behind her desk and beckoned with her hand for him and Jo to follow. She took them to one of the function rooms and opened the door. The room was wonderful, even though there weren’t going to be any family at the wedding, there were seats all laid out with an aisle separating them. All the chairs had white ribbons attached to them and there were white and red roses in vases virtually everywhere. There was even a box with a couple of bouquets and button holes in it. The woman pointed to it, “Those are courtesy of a Miss Emma Woods, she said to tell you she was sorry she couldn’t be there for you.” Stefan had to hold back a smirk at that knowing fine well Emma was probably already at the hotel getting herself ready for the event later. “This is truly wonderful; I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to do that for us.” The woman smiled and giggled slightly, “We were given our orders, wait until you see the hotel room.” With that she went back to the reception desk. Stefan turned to Jo, “What do you think so far Josephine, my love?” Once she replied he began to lead her back out to the Cadillac and once he had opened the door for her, he had them both on their way into the city center to get Jo her dress.

Jo nodded as Stefan spoke about how he got to organise it all. She saw that grin of his, and had to join him with her own. Jo loved that he did this for her, and never really expected it. She expected that they would just go and plan it all rather quickly then get married, but she was loving this idea more and more. After she made the comment about her mother, Stefan added to it. Jo put her hand on his arm, and shook her head slightly. "It's okay Stefan. We will just go over to the house when we come back, and talk to her okay? She is part of the Evolved Human world like me, so knowing about you being a vampire she might be okay with it." Jo bit her bottom lip, looking down, hoping that her mum would be okay with it. She had told her that she was seeing Stefan, but hadn't managed to bring him around.
Stefan then spoke more about encountering her mother, and she giggled a little, shaking her head a little. "Yes, not too much of that mojo that you work on me, hey?" She then brought him closer to herself, liking the feel of him up close to her body. Jo then pulled apart, and just smiled warmly at Stefan. She loved him so much, that it hurt to be apart from him for too long. But she would have however long they were going to be in Vegas with Stefan, that it made her smile all the more, knowing that.
Jo saw Stefan close his eyes for a few seconds, and sighed a little when he placed his hand over her own. Then just hearing those words of him not waiting to make her his wife, made her smile all the more. He had then kissed her hand, and it made her sigh again, loving everything that he did for her, it was just like out of a fairytale. But it was her own personal fairytale that was coming true. After he kissed her hand, Jo lent in to kiss him quickly, not wanting it to linger, just in case they continued to kiss for the next few minutes.
Jo had asked about witnesses on the way to the hotel, and Stefan mentioned about the person who was to marry them was going to bring some with her. Jo looked out the window, nodding, "Yes, it's fine." She had hoped to have someone there that she knew, besides Stefan of cause, but she knew that once they got back home, they might have some sort of celebration with their friends and family there. Jo then turned to Stefan. "Well, I am glad that you didn't invite Damon. I don't think I could bare to look at him after his last visit." Just thinking about that day made her shudder slightly. She soon shook it from her head, and then continued to look out the window.
After she mentioned what sort of dress she would get, she had to giggle a little at part of what he said. Jo really looked at Stefan, and in a way could see that she would never love anyone else as much as she loved Stefan. Then the thought of them renewing their wedding vows made her tingle inside. She knew that they both would look eternally young, and it gave her a thought, and question about it all. "Maybe when we have to eventually have to move from New York, due to us not growing old, we could move somewhere where we are maybe just engaged, and then get married all over again. What do you think?" Jo looked down at her engagement ring again, thinking about what she said. Then she wondered what her lifew would be like moving from place to place when they had to, due to how they would look to others.
Soon enough they were at the hotel, and Jo felt her eyes grow wide at how big the place was. They stopped, and Stefan was asked about the car. Jo knew that they had to go out and get her dress, so Stefan told the man that they were going to just check in. Stefan opened her door, and she took his hand as she got out. He then lead her inside, and asked her what she thought of the place. "I have only one word: huge." She giggled then, "Can you really affort this?" Jo didn't want to put a dampener on the whole thing, but just looking around wide eyed at it all, she knew that it would be expensive. Stefan then said that they were going to be married there as well. She wrapped her other arm around his own, and just looked up at him. "I more than love it Stefan. I love you for doing all this for little old me."
Jo let Stefan do all the talking about their reservation, and kind of raised an eyebrow at Stefan, when he stated that Ryan had organised the room for them. She turned to the person who was serving them at the desk, and looked at Stefan when it was confirmed that they were staying in the honeymoon suite. "Oh Stefan." She just wrapped her arms around him then, feeling all excited. It wouldn't be their first time making love, but it would be the first time as husband and wife.
Then the receptionist beckoned for them to follow her to show them the room that they would be getting married in. Jo followed them both, and gasped out loud, putting her hand over her mouth. "Oh my God! Stefan!" Tears began to form in her eyes, and just couldn't believe what she was seeing. The woman then point out that the box of flowers were from Emma, and added that she was sorry she couldn't come. Jo let go of Stefan, and went over to look at the flowers. "They are beautiful. I will have to text her later after it all and thank her for it. They are gorgeous."
Stefan commented to the woman, who then added about the room. Just thinking about it all was making Jo all giddy, but she knew that she had to calm down enough to enjoy this moment, which she might have a few times yet. Once the woman left, Stefan asked her what she thought so far. Jo shook her head. "You have no idea how I am feeling right now. I have so many emotions going through me right now it is ridiculas." She gave him the biggest smile, and just him to herself. "I know that I am going to thank you many times over later." She pulled away from him, and gave him a cheeky grin, hoping he understood what she meant.
Stefan then lead her back to the car, which she got into. Jo watched as Stefan went around to the driver's side. Her face began to hurt a little, due to her not being able to stop smiling. But she was happy, and she couldn't deny herself that happiness. It was a long time coming. Once Stefan was in the car, she turned to him. "Let's get this dress."

After Stefan made the comment about how Jo’s mom may react to the secret nuptials, he soon felt Jo’s hand on his arm and noticed she was shaking her head slightly and then she spoke to him saying that it was okay and they would just go over to the house when they got back. She added that her mom was an Evolved Human and that she might be okay about the whole vampire thing. He gave Jo a smile then, but he also saw her bite down on her bottom lip which meant Jo wasn’t really that sure how her mom would take it. Stefan didn’t want to press the issue however, “Very well my love, then that is what we shall do when we get home.” Not that he planned for them be back home too soon, not with the trip he had planned for them for after their wedding night. Stefan would just have to hope that her mom would be alright with him because he wouldn’t be doing any glamouring to make her think differently toward him, he wasn’t like Damon.
Stefan had then tried to make light of the situation, or at least tried to, he was never sure how his humour would go down; by saying he could always charm her mom like he did with Jo, but maybe not quite so much. Thankfully Jo took it in the manner he delivered it, which made him laugh a little at her response. “Definitely not my love, there is only room for one soul mate in my heart.” That place well and truly belonged to Jo. She then pulled him closer to her, and it took Stefan all his time not to just take her in his arms and kiss her passionately there and then, but he knew how it always ended up, so he refrained, smiling at her instead.
The feel of Jo’s hand on his face felt so nice like it always did, and he had put his hand on top of hers telling her he couldn’t wait to make her his wife, he had then moved her hand to kiss the back of it, and he heard Jo sigh gently. It was like a sigh of contentment which was nice to hear because Stefan was very content himself. After he had kissed the back of her hand Jo leaned in to kiss him, being careful not to make it linger which, for now at least, Stefan was grateful for.
When Jo had asked about witnesses, Stefan wasn’t sure what to say at first, whether to be honest with her and spoil the surprise or tell a little lie. He decided to tell a little lie, but when Jo replied, and then looked out the window, he began to wonder if he should have just told her the truth. He could sense she was a little disappointed and he hated her to feel that way. But it would be silly to tell the truth now, especially since Emma had promised to keep it quiet as well. He glanced at her slightly, “I am glad that you are alright with that.” However, he now knew just how happy Jo would be when she saw Emma there. Jo then brought up Damon in conversation saying she was glad he hadn’t invited him. Stefan shook his head, “No way in hell would I have invited Damon to such an important and happy event in my life, our lives. I have never found someone I loved so much I wanted to marry them my love, you are the first. I would never have him darkening our special day.” Those words were said with much passion and hate behind them. Damon was his brother, and unfortunately because of that, there would always be that so called bond, and he would never allow for another to take Damon’s life from him, but love him? That was something Stefan hadn’t felt for his brother for a very long time now.
After Jo’s comment about the dress and only getting married hopefully only the once Stefan had made another attempt at humour. Another which seemed to work as he heard Jo giggle a little. After a few seconds she spoke some more and Stefan took in everything she was saying. He hadn’t really thought about it before, but a lot of what she was saying did make sense. He hadn’t thought about moving away, but it would be true that questions would start to be asked if twenty years down the line they both still looked the same and hadn’t aged one bit. “You make a very good point my love, and yes we could do that. It does make me wonder though, just how many times we will do that.” Not that it bothered Stefan, he would marry Jo a hundred times over if necessary and every single one of them would be as memorable as the one before.
Once they had reached the hotel and Stefan began to lead her inside, he soon asked Jo what she thought of the place. He had to chuckle at her response. “It is huge, I had no idea it was like this to be honest.” That was true because this had all come from Ryan, although Stefan would have pulled out all the stops for his love and more than likely would have been able to afford it anyway. He might not be a millionaire per say, but there was still the family wealth at the back of both him and Damon, so they weren’t exactly short of money. Jo had then asked if he could really afford it, he just smiled at her, “Do not worry about that, it is fine, trust me.” He didn’t want to make out that he had or hadn’t paid for it, but she would find out soon enough when he went to confirm their reservations. Stefan had then added they were going to get married there as well and he hoped that she loved it. When Jo replied Stefan felt so happy inside to hear that she more than loved it. “That makes me so happy to hear that my love.” Then her last few words entered his head again, and giving her a warm smile, “And you are not old, you are never going to be old. Well, not in looks and you have a long way to go before you catch up to me.” He laughed a little then, getting used to throwing the odd bit of humour and not having it fall flat.
When the woman at the reception desk confirmed that they were staying in the honeymoon suite, even he hadn’t banked on it being that good a treat from his dear friend Ryan, although he knew Ryan would do his best for the couple, and by all accounts he had certainly done that alright. Jo’s reaction was wonderful and made Stefan glow with happiness. The feeling of Jo’s arms wrapped around him, made him hold her even tighter to himself. The receptionist had then asked them to follow her as she was instructed to show them the room they were getting married in, and really as far as Stefan was concerned, all stops had been pulled out for the two of them. Once again Jo’s reaction made Stefan feel so happy that he had gone ahead and organised it all as a surprise. He saw the tears in Jo’s eyes, he knew they were tears of happiness but he couldn’t help but say what he said, “Josephine my love, this was not meant to make you cry, however I can see they may be tears of happiness, so I think I can allow those.” He then hugged her to him, just knowing how good Jo was feeling about it all was making the secret planning all worthwhile.
The receptionist then pointed out a box of flowers which Emma had organised, naturally Emma’s bridesmaid bouquet was in there and for a minute Stefan wondered if Jo would have picked up on that, but luckily she hadn’t. She just seemed in awe of the flowers which was all Stefan cared about at this moment in time. “I am sure Emma will appreciate the text Josephine.” Stefan said, desperately trying not to give anything away in his voice about the fact that Emma was probably already in one of the many rooms getting herself ready for the nuptials which would be in just over an hour from now. Once the receptionist left them alone, Stefan had asked Jo what she was thinking so far, he watched a bit unsure at first as he saw her shake her head, wondering if it was going to lead to her saying something bad, but it didn’t thankfully.
The big smile she gave him after her words gave him some comfort. “I am glad that everything seems to have made you so happy so far, that is all I had wanted, that is all I ever want, is for you to be happy Josephine.” Her next words went down just as well and he matched her smile, “I was sort of counting on that Josephine.” He winked at her, “Tonight will be the first night of the rest of our eternal lives together, I honestly feel like the luckiest man alive today.” Stefan soon had them both back to the car where Jo then said for them to go get the dress. Stefan nodded his head, “Yes, we have just over an hour to get back to the hotel for the ceremony; I believe we can find you a suitable dress in that time.” Stefan had a couple of suits he could have packed, but he didn’t want to squash them and have them wrinkled by the time they got to Las Vegas, instead he had hired himself a suit, which the hotel staff were more than willing to return for him the next day when he and Josephine would be making their way to his planned honeymoon destination. “I have a hired suit to collect.” He then began heading back into the city center, which he knew would only take them around five minutes, as really The Corinthian wasn’t too far away from the heart of the city.
So, given the traffic, just over ten minutes later Stefan was parking the Cadillac into a car park opposite a huge outdoor shopping complex, the place where his hired suit was from was in this complex, so he could only imagine that he and Jo would be able to find a bridal shop also. Once again Stefan got out of the car and made his way to the passenger side, opening the door and holding his hand out for Jo to take. Once she was outside, he closed the door and turned the locks on. He took a quick look at his watch, “We have exactly one hour now to get back for the ceremony, and I hope we can find you a dress in the next fifteen to twenty minutes, to give us time to get changed when we get back.” He didn’t want to rush Jo by any means, he just hadn’t given traffic much of a thought when he was planning it all, but he somehow had a feeling that everything would just fall into place.

When Stefan said that there was only room for one soul mate, Jo just gave him a smile, know full well that it was her. Jo wasn't sure what he would do when she pulled him close, but it was probably for the best that nothing did happen. Just being there with him was enough for her, but still couldn't wait for what he had in store for the both of them now. Jo turned and smiled a little at Stefan, then turned back to the window. Maybe she was okay with it, but still it would have been nice to have someone there that she knew to help them celebrate the special day. Jo burst out laughing a little at the way Stefan spoke of his brother. Brother or no brother, she was glad that he wasn't going to be there. She never wanted to see him, what with what she had gone through the first and last time she encounted him. "Well I am glad that he isn't here. But I know how you can love to hate him, and I totally get that. Though having no siblings, have no idea how it used to be with you and Damon before you two were turned." Jo knew she didn't need to bring it up again, but she just had to put her two cents in. After Jo spoke about them having to move when they stayed in a place too long, Stefan seemed to agree with her. She shrugged at his comment, thinking that he was either talking about the moving or the getting married part. "Well either way, I don't mind. I guess it will just come with the life we have now together. Just as long as we are always together okay?" Jo knew that if she was hurt or injured, or even close to death, she would be able to heal. But if anyone found out that Stefan was a vampire, and he was killed, there would be no way of bringing him back. When Jo had asked if he could afford it, he smiled and told her not to worry, and to trust him. She gave his hand a squeeze. "I trust you. You know I always will." Jo gave him the biggest smile when he replied to what she said about them getting married at the hotel as well. She would have been happy wherever they were to get married. As long as she was with Stefan, it didn't matter. Or maybe it did. After her slip of the word 'old' in the sentence, she shook her head smirking, as Stefan commented that she wasn't old, and that she had a long way to go to catch up to him. "Fine then. I will only feel old on the inside them." She gave him a grin, as they headed towards the reception area of the hotel. Jo hadn't meant to cry at the sight of the room, but it was beautiful. She slowly turned to look at Stefan as he spoke, and she giggled a little through the tears. "Yes, they are due to how happy I am, so don't worry about that." She continued to hug into Stefan, as he put his own arms around her. After that emotional bit, Jo looked at the flowers that the receptionist pointed out to them. Jo then commented that she would have to some how call or text Emma, thanking her for them. Stefan acknowledged what she said, which made Jo smiled at him. He had then asked her what she was thinking so far. Jo sometimes forgot that she was wearing the necklace that he had given her, and that it stopped him from reading her thoughts. She listened to what he said, then looked right at him. "I am more than happy Stefan. Just everything that you have done for me so far is just more than I could have ever hoped for in my life so far." After her comment about thanking him many times over, Stefan seemed to have gotten what she had meant, with the wink confirming it very much. Then hearing the rest of what he said made her feel that he was truly the right one that she was going to be with for the rest of eternity, if that was how long she was going to live till. It was kind of a scary thought. "I think we will find more than a suitable dress for myself. I am not that hard to dress for. I have never been that way at all over the years. Sometimes clothes are clothes to me, but I know that I will find something special, don't worry about that." She then listened as they drove, as Stefan mentioned that he had hired a suit, which he was to collect. "Okay. No worries." They were soon at the place where Stefan had taken them to get their clothes. Jo got out as soon as Stefan opened the door for her. "Thanks." Stefan then told her that they had exactly an hour to get back to the hotel, and that she needed to find the dress in the next fifteen or twenty mintues. "No problems in that department. Will find something in ten." She giggled then, and headed inside the store in question. They were soon hit with so many thing: dresses, shoes, everything that you can think of for any occassion. It was kind of overwhelming, but Jo scanned the store, and soon spotted all the white dresses to the left of the store. "This way." She practically pulled Stefan with her, still keeping in mind the time contrasts. Jo was soon standing in front of manniquins and railings holding so many dresses. The first thing Jo knew she wanted was something that was comfortable, and not too restricted. She flipped through the dresses, pulling out a couple, checking sizes, and just making sure that they looked okay. Then giving Stefan her bag, she smiled. "You wait here, and I will go and try these on." Jo was soon in the dressing room, and trying on the six dresses that she found. One after another just weren't right. But she got to the sixth and final one and hoped that it would work out. As she put it on, it just sitted and fitted really well. She zipped it up and liked how it looked. All she could do was smile at herself in the mirror. She got back into her clothes and then headed outside to meet up with Stefan. Jo put back the five that didn't work out, and gave him a smile. "Okay. Now shoes." She made sure that the dress was well hidden so that he couldn't really see how it would look until the ceremony. After only another five minutes, Jo found the perfect pair of shoes. Not too high as she hated heels, but knew that today she would have to wear them for a short time at least. Once they paid for the things, Jo turned to Stefan. "Now you need to get your suit." Looking at her watch, she was happy with the time. "Told you I didn't need all that time. Still have five minutes to spare." Jo kissed him on the cheek, then waited for him to get his suit.

When Stefan spoke ill of his brother Damon when Jo had said she was he hadn’t been invited he heard Jo laugh out loud a little. What he had said was pretty horrible, to anybody else who didn’t know the story between the two would have thought Stefan was the mean one who wasn’t allowing his brother to attend his wedding. But the truth remained, Damon was not a nice person, he never was that nice as a human either but being turned into a vampire only brought out the inner demon in Damon much worse than it ever had been as a human. Stefan had always been the kinder of the two, trying to see the good in everybody, even now, hoping that he would bring the good out in Damon, one day. “Damon and I were like how siblings usually are, we could annoy the hell out of each other but we were still brothers and we still loved each other, but Damon always had an inner demon. Sadly it was unleashed in the worst way imaginable when he became a vampire.”
Stefan glanced at Jo and smiled deeply when she said she didn’t mind either way about how often they moved or got married so long as they were always together. “I would not want it any other way Josephine, I cannot stand to be apart from you.” It was true, he hated when he had to go to work but he also knew that he had to, although they could live off the family wealth, but really Stefan liked his job, and he loved being able to help save people, that was the one thing which made Stefan continue to work.
After Jo had asked if he could afford it, he had told her not to worry and to trust him, he soon felt her squeeze his hand and she then said that did trust him and always would. He gave her a warm smile then. “I know you trust me, you have trusted me from the day we met and I value that trust Josephine.” She had no idea how much her trust in him meant. Her trust in him was the final piece he needed to feel like a normal human and it was a good feeling to have. When Stefan had picked Jo up on her use of the word old he had told her off saying she was far from old and had a long way to catch up to him. He that smirk on her face and it made him smile brightly and then she spoke saying fine she would just be old on the inside. Once again Stefan shook his head, “Even on the inside Josephine you will be eternally young.” He was still smiling, something which he was finding very difficult not to do since Jo had found out what he had planned and seemed to love it so much.
Once they had reached the reception and the receptionist had shown them the room they were to be married in Jo had begun to cry. Stefan had managed to work out they were tears of happiness and in that instance he could allow them. The smile he had on his face only grew as she giggled a little through the tears and confirmed that they were indeed tears of happiness. “I am so happy that you are so happy.” Jo was hugging into him and he couldn’t help but hug her back, loving the embrace they were sharing.
When Jo said that she was more than happy adding that everything he had done for her so far was more than she would ever have expected. “I am glad you feel that way, you are my princess Josephine, and that is the way you should be treated and that is the way you will always be treated.” He was so happy he had met Jo that night, they had shared an instant spark which grew to a great fire later that evening and he hadn’t looked back since. Their relationship was very intense very quick, but Stefan knew everything about it was right. Stefan knew deep in his heart he didn’t want to be with anyone else, ever. He knew that it was impossible for him to lose Josephine, with her new ability, even if Damon did try to turn her, it wouldn’t happen as the wound would just heal and her blood replenished, but just the thought of anything happening to her wasn’t pleasant for him to think about.
Once they were on their way to get a dress for Jo and for Stefan to pick up his suit, Jo commented that she was sure they would find more than find a suitable dress for her. Stefan smiled then, “I just know that whatever you get you will look stunning, after all Josephine, you look stunning enough without clothes.” He side glanced to her then and gave her a wink, he was just being completely honest with her. Once they had arrived at the outdoor shopping complex Stefan had told Jo they didn’t have a great deal of time, but it would seem given Jo’s reply that she wouldn’t need a lot of time, telling him she would have a dress in ten and giggled. Stefan grinned at her, “Very well my love.” Of course Stefan was buying the dress as it was his wish, but he didn’t really want to see it if possible, not until she was walking toward him. Soon enough, once inside the store Jo had picked a few things to try on and she soon handed him her bag to hold. “I hope you will find something you like.” Although he didn’t want to see the dress just now he also knew that he couldn’t wait to see her walk toward him, he then couldn’t wait to say his vows, and then to kiss her as his wife.
Soon enough Jo was back out of the changing rooms, putting back the ones which had obviously not worked out for her and kept one, which Stefan was avoiding looking at, he really only wanted to see it once Jo was wearing it. Jo spoke saying she needed to get shoes, Stefan nodded his head, “Very well.” He then followed her to the shoe department of the store and within about another five minutes she got her shoes. They went to the cashier’s desk and Stefan paid for both the items without even flinching at the cost. Jo then commented that he needed to get his suit, which he smiled, “Yes I do.” She then added that she had told him he didn’t need all that time and they still had five minutes to spare. He then felt Jo kiss him on the cheek and he kissed her back on her cheek. “Okay, let us go then.”
Stefan then began to lead them both to the store he had hired his suit from, which was lucky enough right next door to the store where they had got Jo’s dress and shoes from. He walked in and went up to one of the store assistants and gave his name saying he had hired a suit for the day. Within a couple of moments the assistant handed Stefan his suit in a zip bag. Stefan thanked them, and then with the suit draped over his arm, he turned to Jo, “I think it is time for us to get back to the hotel and get ready for our wedding my love.” The ceremony was now just over a half hour away and although Stefan wasn’t exactly nervous, he was excited, he just couldn’t wait for that moment when the registrar pronounced them man and wife.
Placing his suit and Jo’s dress carefully across the backseat of the Cadillac he soon had the passenger door opened and once Jo was inside, made his way round to the other side, and heading in the direction of the hotel, which would only take them five minutes if the traffic was a little lighter than it was on the way to get the dress and suit.
