Shadows of the Past {Samuel}

As Dominic had been lying on the sofa with his head on Sam’s lap, Sam had been running his fingers through Dom’s hair and he loved it. Having his hair being played with always felt sensual to Dom and it always relaxed him. This afternoon he was enjoying it so much more than normal probably due to the fact that he knew he would be gone for the best part of a week without having Sam to come home to and do that to him. When Dom had looked at Sam with a rather sad face he saw that Sam was pretty much giving him the same look and it was seriously tugging at his heart strings. When Dom had said that he never had anyone special in his life before when he had to leave Sam had replied saying he knew and calling him sweetie like he always did now and Dom loved it, then Sam added that he was sorry that he was in his life when he had to make these trips. Dom was about to say something when Sam continued saying that he was not sorry he was with him and then Sam smiled saying he liked his new name.

“I’m not sorry that you’re in my life my darling despite having to leave you on these trips, I am so happy to have you in my life and I am more than happy that I am with you too. I guess I’ll just have a very high mobile bill this month.” Dom said and gave Sam a weak smile, knowing that he would make a point of calling Sam at every opportunity while he was away, even if it meant leaving countless voicemail messages just so he could hear Sam’s voice. Dom then smiled a little more warmly, “And I am glad that you like your new name.” He would have to text Stacey later and let her know that the new name had gone down well. “It makes sense to me my darling, you’re the man of my dreams, and I’ve been waiting for my Prince to come along and sweep me off my feet for a while now, so that makes you my Dreamy Prince.” Dom explained and gave him another smile.

Dominic had then looked away from Sam knowing how difficult it was going to be to leave him behind for a week or just under it and as the emotion built within him a tear had escaped his eye and then he had turned to Sam again and he had caught the tear. Sam soon wiped it away telling him not to start that or he would set him off. Dom gave him a weak smile, “I’m sorry my darling, I can’t help but feel this way.” He replied but bit back the tears so that no more would fall as he didn’t want to upset Sam either. Dom had then said that he would just have to get a clone of Sam to take with him everywhere. Sam had then said if he knew someone he was sure it could be arranged. This made Dom laugh a little, “Unfortunately I don’t know anyone with an ability to clone, but I guess it still wouldn’t be the same as I know it wouldn’t really be you my darling and Dominic’s love is only reserved for the real Sam.” Dom had then sat up a little and placed his hands on either side of Sam’s face and kissed him softly.

Sam then returned the kiss slowly kissing Dom back which made Dom close his eyes and murmur slightly knowing that he was going to die without this affection while he was away. Sam had then kissed Dom again and he soon heard Sam murmur which made Dom moan a little bit more again knowing that the soft kisses may turn into something more what with this being their last day and night together for around a week. Dom then felt Sam pull away and he opened his eyes slowly to see that Sam was looking at him and then Sam spoke in a quiet voice saying that he wanted to be close to him right now. Dom sat up more and put his arms around Sam’s neck pulling him a little closer to him and gave him a look filled with love, lust and passion, “And I want to be close to you right now as well my darling.” Sam had then came in for another kiss and Dom felt the passion in it right away and returned the passion just as much, opening his mouth up to Sam and exploring it with his tongue as he pressed up against Sam knowing what he wanted to do.

When Dom had said that he guessed his mobile bill would be high this month due to the constant calls he would make to Sam he heard him snicker slightly which made Dom giggle a little. Then Sam spoke saying he could join his bill with Dom’s to see who will have the highest bill. “Well there are other people that I have to contact my darling you are right there, but I imagine that I will be hearing from you just as often as you will be hearing from me.” He replied and gave Sam his sexy eyebrow raise. Dom then had a thought as he was pretty sure that Sam didn’t already have one like this, “You know my darling, it might be a good idea for me to buy you a little gift, or since I have to leave first thing in the morning, give you a blank cheque to buy it, a phone that takes and gives video calls. Can you imagine the fun we could have with each other while I’m away from you? My phone can do that, it just works like a web cam and you get to talk to each other and see each other.” Dom said in a rather excited voice, he knew that Sam would never take him and his superstar status for granted just like Stace wouldn’t but Dom could treat those close to him if he wanted to, right?

Dom had then explained to Sam how he had come up with Dreamy Prince, even if it was with the help of Stace and he saw Sam smile a lot which made Dom grin at him and then he spoke saying that with the nicknames he had given him he would have to think of one for him. Dom grinned again, “Well you already call me sweetie that I really like but I can’t deny a unique one from you referring to me would be kind of cool and a little sexy.” He replied and looked at Sam sighing contently and feeling more than ever that he didn’t want to leave in the morning. He honestly wished he could just cancel it, but if he did that, then he would seriously have to reconsider the career path he had chosen for himself. Maybe he should go into fashion instead, but thinking about that seriously he knew he would miss performing. He and Sam will just have to get used to separations from each other.

He knew that Xander wanted him to break into the charts internationally and so far he was just a national superstar, but he was seriously considering just remaining a star in America, at least that way any touring he did he could always fly back physically every single night to be with Sam, in fact now that he thought about it, there was nothing stopping him from doing that this time either. In fact, there was nothing stopping him from becoming a superstar internationally, he could fly from the UK back to America faster than the speed of light.

Dom realised he had gone a little quiet and decided to voice his thoughts on the matter, “You know something my darling, I was just doing a bit of thinking there, maybe not every night while I’m gone, but maybe every other night I could use my ability of flight to come back and stay the night with you, what do you think? It could make all of this having to leave you and tour and do promotional stuff so much easier to do, you know?” Dom said not sure why he hadn’t thought about it before, it was true that initially he would have to go to the destinations by plane due to his luggage and personnel staff that had to go with him when touring and promoting, but there was nothing to say he couldn’t physically fly back every other night

After talk of the clone Dom had said that it wouldn’t be the same and Dominic’s love was only reserved for the real Sam he saw Sam smile warmly at him and heard him sigh, which made Dom sigh contently and then he had sat up and kissed Sam with his hands on Sam’s face. Sam had then pulled away from the kiss and said in a soft voice that he wanted to be close to Dom. Dom felt the same way and had wrapped his arms around Sam’s neck and pulled Sam closer to him and said that he wanted to be close to him as well. Sam had then leant in and kissed Dom putting some passion into it which Dom was gladly returning. Dom had opened his mouth up to Sam and he soon felt Sam doing the same thing and soon enough their tongues were playing around with each other which was making Dom moan out slightly enjoying the passion of the kiss.

They kissed like this for a few moments and then Dom felt Sam pull away from it and could hear that he was breathless, but then Dom was fairly breathless as well, but he was also very, very turned on and knew what he wanted to do right then. He soon felt Sam’s arms go around his body and soon he was being brought up onto his feet and Sam began to kiss Dom again and once more Dom returned the kiss with just as much passion as Sam was giving. He heard Sam moan which made Dom moan along with him. While Sam continued to kiss him Dom felt himself being moved as Sam began to walk backward out of the lounge room obviously heading toward their bedroom and Dom wasn’t about to object to that, why would he object to making love to the man he had lost his heart to? Dom then felt Sam fumble with his shirt as he continued to kiss him and when he felt Sam’s hands on his bare chest Dominic let out a rather low raspy moan. Then Sam moved his lips to touch Dom’s ear and he soon felt his hot breath as his lips and tongue moved over his ear making Dom moan out again.

Dom then felt Sam’s lips move to his neck and Sam began to trail kisses down his neck to his shoulder, each one making Dom shiver with excitement and each one making him murmur and moan more loudly than the one before. Dom could see that they had reached the bedroom and Dom felt Sam pull away from his neck and he was gasping but then Dom was out of breath as well and then he felt Sam push him against the wall with quite a bit of force and for a split second Dom got a flashback to Simon, but he soon shook it from his head as Sam’s lips made contact with his own again and then felt Sam’s hand on the crotch of his pants beginning to caress him which made Dom moan out all the more while kissing Sam and Dom then moved his hands round to press into Sam’s back as they continued to kiss.

When Dom spoke to Sam about the idea of giving him a blank cheque to treat himself to a phone that could give and take video calls he saw Sam tilt his head as he continued to talk about it and then heard Sam chuckle which made Dom giggle a little. Quite often when Dominic gets an idea in his head about something he gets excited about it and the talk of the phone was no different as he waited to see what Sam would say to his suggestion. Sam began to nod slowly which made Dom feel a bit happier about the fact that he had to leave in the morning and he began to clap his hands together and moving like he would have been jumping up and down on his feet if he had been standing. Sam then spoke saying that he would make sure that it wasn’t some extravagant phone or he’d have no idea how to use it.

Dom raised his eyebrow a little, “My darling you have the ability of Superhuman Intelligence, you should be able to work out the most difficult woman if you weren’t gay, a mobile phone should be a piece of cake to you.” Dom said and giggled again and then touched Sam’s face with his hand, “Whatever you think looks easiest for you to handle, just remember that money isn’t an object alright my darling? I’ve not treated you to anything since we’ve been together, so I’d like for you to get something really good.” Dom then grinned at him when Sam said that he could quickly read the manual and then would know, “Or there is that too my Dreamy Prince.” Dom said and then reached over to give Sam a quick soft kiss.

After Dom had said that a unique nickname from Sam would be kind of cool Sam replied saying that he would have to get his thinking cap on while he was away. Dom smiled warmly at him, “It would be nice to come home to a new Sam style nickname and I am sure you will do it justice my darling.” Dom replied and smiled at him again and then he had disappeared into his thoughts knowing that it was going to be so difficult being apart from Sam for that length of time and then he started to think about how he could physically fly back every other day or every three days or something to spend the night with Sam. Thinking that he had been quiet for too long he eventually brought the suggestion up to Sam and wondered what he would think.

Dom soon saw Sam sit up a bit and he knew that meant that Sam was going to say something about it. So Dom listened to what Sam had to say and then slowly began to shake his head. When Sam was finished he replied to him saying, “It’s just like you my genuine, kind, caring, sensitive and loving Sam to think of me like that, but I wouldn’t do it every night, that would be too much, maybe every other night, or every third night, and really it’s nothing to physically fly, it’s not like I have to flap my arms like a bird, I just zoom through the sky like a rocket.” Dom giggled slightly and then continued to talk, “Besides my Superhuman ability stops me from getting tired so much, so I’ll be fine and it can stop us moping about me leaving quite so much.”

Dom had then leant into kiss Sam which had led to a bit of a passionate embrace between them and then after both saying they wanted to be close to each other right then Sam had began to lead Dom through to their bedroom. The whole time as they walked to the bedroom Sam couldn’t seem to keep his lips or hands off of Dom not that he was complaining, in fact he was getting seriously turned on by it all and kept moaning and murmuring with each touch from Sam. When Sam used his tongue to lick at Dom’s earlobe it was driving him insane as that was one of the areas on Dom that turned him on instantly and he let out another moan of pleasure.

Sam had then pushed him against the wall and he had for a split second thought about Simon but knew that Sam was different and had soon shook the thought and memory from his head especially when Sam had come at him again kissing him once more. When Sam’s hand began to caress Dom at the crotch of his pants he had moaned out even louder. This made Sam break away from the kiss and Dom looked at him with passion over his face as he watched Sam look at him with his mouth partially open but then Sam went into kiss him again and Dom moved his hands round to press into Sam’s back. For some reason Dom seemed to be getting more aroused than usual and desperately wanted to push Sam onto the bed but held back because sometimes when he was in the throes of passion he would forget the fact that he had superhuman strength which went with having the ability of being Superhuman and he didn’t want to hurt Sam. Sam then stopped kissing Dom and he opened his eyes slowly to look at Sam as he moved his hand from the crotch of Dom’s pants and then Sam spoke between short breaths saying that he needed him right now and this would have been fine with Dom who was about to reply telling Sam that they could take it to the bed now when Sam grabbed at him quickly and then turned him pushing him into the wall.

The earlier flashback to Simon came back again and this time it wasn’t something he could shake off and he ducked out from underneath Sam and then with tears in his eyes he said “I’m sorry,” then he flew out of the bedroom and ran toward the garden. Once he was there he immediately made his way to his fountain and slumped down onto the ground leaning up against it with his head in his hands and began to sob heavy tears, the memory of it all flooding back to him and he knew that there was only one person he could face right then and that was Stace. He yanked out his mobile phone and thankfully knowing the speed dial number for Stace off by heart he pressed it and through his tears left the following message for her, hoping that she wouldn’t be too busy and would be able to come over.



He then flipped his phone closed and went back to sobbing with his head in his hands and rocking back and forth and inside knowing that Sam wasn’t Simon and that he wouldn’t hurt him, but the way he had pushed him into the wall he just couldn’t help but think to what happened with Simon and really Dom should probably have told Sam about Simon by now but the only person who knew and the only person he had ever been able to tell was Stace.

It was one of those lazy Sunday afternoons that Stacey loved. Ebony had just gone down for a sleep, and David was off doing some work or something in the dining room. Stacey was feeling so relaxed in the lounge, she felt like she was going to nod off to sleep anytime now. She was trying to concentrate on some documentary on television, but it was not getting alot of attention from her at all.

Then suddenly she heard her phone beep saying that she had missed a call. Maybe I had nodded off and didn't hear it ring, thought Stacey. She slowly got up from the lounge, and headed towards her bag on the floor near the entrance to the room. Looking at her phone she saw that she had missed Dom's call, and quickly called her missed call service to hear the message. Her hand went up to her mouth, as she heard how he was sounding. The message was only short, but it was enough to know that he desperately needed her right then.

Stacey quickly took her bag, and called out to David that she had to go and see Dom. Without waiting for a reply, she made a dash out to the car, and headed towrds Dom's place. The whole drive there, even though it was only short, all Stacey could think of was that something terrible had happened to Dom, her best friend in the whole wide world. Soon enough she was at his place, and her first thought was to go around back to his garden. It was her gut telling her that he was there.

Stacey was soon glad that she had gone with that feeling as she soon saw Dom sitting on the ground, next to the fountain. She saw that he was rocking back and forth, with his head in his hands. "Oh God Dom.... what's wrong?" Stacey headed quickly over to Dom, and wrapped her arms around him, bending down to him. "I am here Dom. What the hell happened hun?"

Sam had told Dom that he basically would be okay when he was away, and that he would never look at anyone else the way he did with Dom. It was true because he had never felt this way about anyone else so soon, and Sam was loving the feeling very much. Dom soon replied, and Sam gave him a warm smile, and nodded, when Dom said that he trusted him. Sam felt good to know that, as he would never put any doubts in Dom's mind with that. Every other relationship that he had been in he had always been faithful, so this was no different. "And I will miss you as well sweetie."

Dominic was so glad to see his best friend in the whole world, the one who knew everything, the only person who knew everything. He knew she would be the one to calm him down and that’s why he contacted her. Even when he had first heard her voice and he had looked up and went to say something nothing had come out and he just shook his head and sobbed some more. He felt truly felt terrible because he knew if he had told Sam about Simon at the start then what had just happened probably wouldn’t have happened. He really had nobody to blame but himself, but it had been hard enough to tell Stace what had happened, god knows what it was going to be like telling Sam. What if he thinks he’s dirty or damaged goods or something? What would that do to their relationship then?

Dominic just continued to sob hugging into Stace until he was ready to talk, that was one of the many things he loved about Stace, she never tried to push him into telling her anything, and she always let him get out his frustrations and was ready to listen when he was ready to talk. He always appreciated that about her. Soon enough he felt as if he was calm enough to start telling Stace what had happened although he started the sorry tale by saying that he had done a stupid thing. Well in his eyes it was stupid, Sam was only getting a little physical because he was in love with him and wanted to be with him which Dom had wanted so much but he just couldn’t shake the mental image of Simon out of his head. Maybe once Sam knew however he would be able to help Dom forget the ghosts of his past and he might finally be able to move on from it properly.

As Dom told Stace what had happened he heard her gasp and was ready to ask what the hell, but he continued with what he was saying and finishing with knowing that he had to tell Sam but didn’t know where to start. He had then snuggled into Stace again and he felt her arms go around him tighter which he felt grateful for. Stace then spoke telling him to hush down and saying that he won’t lose him and that Sam just needed to learn not to be so physical with him. He nodded his head as he sniffed a few times and then Stace moved slightly to look at him saying that Sam needed to know and Stace then said she could be there with him and give him support. Dom moved out of the embrace slightly so he could look at Stace now that he had managed to compose himself somewhat. “I know he needs to know Stace sugar, I should have told him when we were first starting to get to know one another, but it was all so magical I guess I didn’t want to bring a cloud over us you know?”

He sighed and wiped at his eyes with the heels of his hands feeling glad that he hadn’t put any of his usual makeup on that day knowing that with it being his last proper night with Sam he would have gotten emotional. “I would be good to have you there for support sister, I’m just scared that once he gets to know he’ll either not want to know me anymore, have a go at me for not telling him sooner and making him feel like shit or he might think I’m dirty and damaged goods or something. I know that some people can think about people who have been raped like that. I couldn’t think of him thinking of me like that Stace, I just couldn’t.” Dom explained and could feel his emotions getting the better of him again. Telling Sam was probably going to the hardest thing he would ever do, it would be even harder than it had been to tell Stace.
