Saturday, 27th February 2010 Ebony couldn't believe how her day started and was now ending. Her best friend in the whole wide world, and 'cousin' had told her that she was heading into the past to stop her father, Dominic Salvatore from getting on this plane. Ebony was glad that he did survive the plane crash, but as a result he had ended up in a wheelchair. She knew that Beth wanted to change things, and she guessed today was the day. Ebony wasn't sure what to say, but she knew she couldn't let her best friend go alone. So she left a note for her own mum and dad, Stacey and David, and took off with Beth. She wasn't sure if it was possible, as she was human, but with just holding Beth's hand, she travelled back in time to stop Dom from getting on the plane. They soon got to the airport, but Beth told Ebony to stay in the cafe nearby, so that she wouldn't be in harms way if anything happened. Ebony nodded, and stayed in the cafe, ordering a coke, and watched the tv in the cafe to pass the time. But she soon heard a crash, and people screaming, and she didn't know what to do, as Beth had basically told her to stay put. Following the news, she had seen that the plane had crashed into the terminal, but most people were okay. Then Beth came and got her as the second news update came up. A man was with her, who she didn't recognise, and they were taken to a hidden part of the airport, and the man moved them, which Ebony soon realised that he had the ability to teleport. Soon enough they were standing outside a huge house, and all Ebony could do was collapse to the ground, with her legs folded under her. Ebony kept thinking about what she saw on the television, and was starting to get upset all over again. This is the part she hated, the part of having her emotions go all over the place like her mum. Ebony finally decided to look at Beth, wiping at her eyes, even though it wasn't helping. "What the hell happened Beth?" {ooc - I got help and suggestions off of Mands for Beth and what she would say or do, so there was no god modding at all as discussions were had.}

When Bethany had rebelled against her daddy’s wishes and went back in time to do what she could to stop him from getting on the plane that she knew was going to crash and cause him to be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life she wasn’t thinking about everyone else on the flight, all she wanted was to stop her daddy. She had travelled back to the past with her best friend and ‘cousin’ Ebony Callaghan. It would seem that Ebony wouldn’t let her go alone. She had told Ebony when they arrived at the airport to stay in the cafe nearby in case anything should go wrong and keep her out of harm’s way she had smiled at Ebony as she agreed and then Beth made her way to where she knew her father would be and pretended to be one of his fans and done her best to distract him as much as possible to stop him from checking in therefore missing his flight.
However her plan was almost thwarted when the guy who was with her father, she had guessed his bodyguard or something began to telepathically communicate with her. Soon enough he had mimicked her power which she wasn’t too impressed with and had said as much to him. He had then got very nasty with her which had made her break down into sobs. Well she hadn’t been thinking about anyone else or the whole butterfly effect he kept talking about, all she had thought about was stopping her father from getting on that plane. Soon enough things had calmed down between her and this guy and he said he would help in his own way using his government status. However he had come back saying that they had been in the wrong check in queue and that the flight had already left.
Beth had then tried to go back in time by an hour so that they could tell someone not to let the flight take off, but she then discovered her power wasn’t working anymore, or at least the part to time travel wasn’t working at any rate. By the time she realised it was too late to do anything else as the plane came crashing through the terminal building and Beth had shouted to her daddy to watch out knowing that she had blown her cover. When Beth had seen her daddy’s lover approach him she had beckoned with her head to the guy to leave the two of them alone and head back to the cafe where she had told Ebony to stay. Once they were there the guy teleported them to her daddy’s huge house and left them. She watched as Ebony collapsed onto the ground and then looked up asking her what the hell had happened.
Knowing that there would be no way to get into the house with the fact that both her father and his lover were at the airport she sat down on the ground next to Ebony. “The guy who brought us here began communicating with me telepathically, he was actually quite mean to me a few times to be honest Ebs, and I ended up sobbing my heart out. Told me I was selfish and called me a little bitch and then he went on about a butterfly effect and stuff. Anyway he said he would stop the flight from taking off, so nobody was hurt, but it turns out that we were in the wrong queue. Daddy’s flight had been moved forward an hour and had already began to take off, there was nothing we could do, but at least daddy didn’t get on the flight.” Beth rambled out and then began to cry again remembering the scene between her and that guy, he really had been quite mean.
After a few seconds she bit down on her bottom lip and then pulled her lip in a bit, before sighing and looking at Ebony again, “Thing is Ebs, there appears to be something wrong with my power. I tried to go back to stop the flight from taking off when I was at the airport and it wouldn’t work, I think this butterfly effect thing that guy was talking about affected my power.” Beth then began to cry again because she knew that it meant they were both stuck in this time, and although Dominic had taken her presence quite well she knew that in their own time her daddy would be tearing his hair out and god knows how Aunt Stacey and Uncle David would take the disappearance of Ebony after a while.

Ebony looked around, waiting for Beth to tell her what the hell had happened. The images of what she saw on the news, and what she heard had freaked her out somewhat, and the emotions were just there now, nothing else. Ebony then wathed Beth sat on the ground next to her. She sniffed a few times, and wiped at her eyes again. She tried to concentrate on what Beth was saying, taking in what she could through her tears.
Ebony gasped a little at what Beth said about the guy and what he said to her. How could someone say that about Beth. She was the most sweetest person, just like her dad, Dominic. The bit about the butterfly effect, or whatever it was, just went over Ebony's head, and she forgot about that and listened to the rest. Ebony nodded as she spoke of the plane, and how it got put forward an hour, and it had then taken off. Thankfully Dom wasn't on there, she thought to herself. When Beth said that at least her dad didn't get on the flight, Ebony nodded, "Yeah, that's a good thing."
When Beth began to cry, Ebony wrapped her arms around her, feeling the tears leave her own eyes. She held Beth till she felt it was the right time to pull away. As she moved away, she saw Beth bite on her bottom lip. That was not a good sign, Ebony thought. Beth looked at her, and said that there was something wrong with her power. Ebony blinked a couple of times, then felt herself freak out inside. She swallowed a couple of times, then let out a breath. Ebony heard Beth mention the bufferfly effect thing, and shook her head. She shook her head a few times, frowning. "So we did the wrong thing in coming back? Sorry Beth, I am glad that your dad is safe, but now we can't get back to our own time."
Ebony scrambled to her feet, and headed a few steps away from Beth. She crossed her arms, pulling her arms tight to her body. "What are we going to do? Our parents are going to flip out. Mom is going to flip out. You know how she gets... Everyone will... I can't..." And with all of it just brimming to the surface, Ebony just stood there with her hands over her face, crying her heart out.

When Ebony had asked her what the hell had happened Beth began telling her the whole story about the guy called Matt and what happened with the plane and how they were in the wrong check in queue. She knew it would be a lot for Ebony to take in because Ebony didn’t have a power and a lot of the time it just went over Ebony’s head but she felt she couldn’t miss any of it out. When she had told Ebony that Matt had been quite mean to her she heard Ebony gasp a little, she knew that Ebony wouldn’t be too happy about that, basically Beth was one of the sweetest people around, it was all down to how she was raised naturally and she took after her father Dominic in a big way. Beth had then said that at least her father hadn’t gotten on the plane. Ebony agreed saying that it was a good thing. Beth gave her a weak smile because she knew what she had to tell her next Ebony wouldn’t take so well and she wouldn’t blame her.
Beth had then begun to cry as she remembered the scene when Matt had been mean to her and she soon felt Ebony wrap her arms around her. When Ebony pulled away from the hug Beth had bitten on her bottom lip knowing what she would have to say now. And as she had thought Ebony didn’t take it too well. Ebony then said that they did the wrong thing coming back although she was glad her dad was safe but now they were stuck in this time. This just made Beth all the more upset and the tears began to fall again as she watched her friend and ‘cousin’s scramble to her feet. “I’m sorry Ebs, but really it wasn’t my fault, how was I to know that by doing this it would stuff up my power? You know what stopping daddy meant to me.” Beth continued to cry some more and then she began to sniff a few times and in a more quiet voice she said, “I should have come alone, I should never have dragged you into this, I’m so sorry.”
She then slipped down onto the ground and put her head in her hands, she knew that her two father’s would start to go crazy when they realised she was missing. Maybe what had happened was only a temporary thing, maybe in a day or two it would return and she could get them back. However it was all false hope right now but she knew that she would keep on trying to shift in time until it worked. Ebony then spoke some more in a naturally panicked voice asking what they were going to do and how their parents would flip out. Beth knew only too well how they would get she knew that Dominic hated when anything happened to his precious little Bambi. She looked up from where she had slumped onto the ground with sad wet eyes, “I don’t know Ebs, but, but maybe my power won’t be like this forever, maybe it’s only temporary, maybe I can get us back tomorrow, I’ll keep trying until it works I swear.”
When she saw how upset Ebony was getting Bethany scrambled up to her feet this time and went to her and threw her arms around her and hugged her tight. “I’m really sorry Ebs, please don’t be mad at me, I didn’t know this would happen you have to believe me. Daddy is clever, so is Daddy Sam, you never know, maybe they might be able to help, come up with an answer or something.” Beth said trying to reassure Ebony and hoping that it would work, she hated to see her friend so upset, especially when she was the one who had pretty much caused it, even if it was by accident.

As Ebony got up off the ground, after saying that they had done the wrong thing, adding that she was glad that Beth's dad was safe, but now they were stuck, Ebony saw the tears fall from Beth. She felt bad for going off at her, but Ebony had every right to feel this way. She heard what Beth was saying, apologising for what happened, and talking about not knowing about what would happen. Though the last thing hit Ebony, making her nod slightly. She knew that what Beth was saying was the truth. Beth had wanted to come back for so long, and when she had turned the age of sixteen, she finally did what she had always wanted to do.
The next thing that Beth said hurt Ebony a little, hearing that her best friend in the whole wide world thought she should have come alone. Even with all of this going on now, she would never ever change her mind. Ebony wanted to make sure that Beth was safe, and that is why she wanted to come. But deep down she thought they would save Beth's father, then just come back, like nothing had happened to them in the future. But that was not the case now.
Ebony saw Beth then fall to the ground, and put her head in her hands. A couple of tears stung in her eyes, but Ebony was able to keep them at bay. She then spoke of her feelings to Beth, then started to panic as she spoke. Towards the end she couldn't get complete sentences out. Beth soon looked up, and spoke to Ebony about not knowing, adding that maybe her power wouldn't be like this forever, maybe it was only temporary.
Ebony then began to cry to herself in her hands. She knew it wasn't Bethany's fault, and she felt bad for having a panic type moment in front of her. As she cried, Ebony felt Beth's arms around her, hugging her tightly. Ebony moved her hands from her face, and wrapped her arms around her best friend. Leaning her head on Beth's shoulder, she slowly shook her head. Ebony then swallowed a little, then lifted her head from Beth's shoulder, then pulled away, letting her arms fall to her sides, then brought her left hand up, starting to play with her bracelet on her right arm. "I don't blame you Beth. I just wish that we had, or you had been told about the side effects. You know?"
In one way, Ebony was kind of glad that she never had an ability, even though being human was sometimes boring as hell. She then wiped at her eyes, then looked at Beth. "I guess we might have to talk to your dad about it then. I would really like to get back home to our time as soon as possible." Ebony gave Beth a small smile. She then walked back to where they had been and picked up her bag. "So what do we do now?"

When Beth had got up from the ground and wrapped her arms around her best friend hugging her tightly she soon felt Ebony’s hands move to go around her and hugged her back. Beth felt Ebony’s head on her shoulder as they hugged and then Beth began to speak saying that she was sorry and asking Ebony not to be mad at her as she didn’t know that was going to happen to her power, which was true. Ebony then pulled out of the hug and Beth saw her begin to play with her bracelet and then spoke saying that didn’t blame her but just wished that they had been told or Beth had been aware of the side effects. Beth could only give Ebony a weak smile, “I know what you’re saying Ebs, but then again, if we knew of the side effects then I guess we wouldn’t have come here and Daddy would still be in the wheelchair. Oh god, I feel like such a selfish little bitch, that guy Matt was right.” Beth eventually said as she felt the tears stinging at her eyes again.
She had managed to get her and Ebony stuck in the past with parents who were going to go nuts when they realised they were both missing for any length of time. How long was it going to take for Beth to get her power restored if at all? How long would they be stuck in the past for? As much as she liked the idea of seeing her Daddy and Daddy Sam in this time, she knew it was weird for them because at this point she wasn’t even conceived yet. She would like a relationship with them in this time, but she had wanted to be able to return to her own time as if nothing had happened whenever she wanted and now with her power going screwy on her that was never going to happen unless her power did magically come back.
When Ebony spoke again she had replied to what Beth had said about her Daddy and Daddy Sam being clever and possibly being able to help them. “I would like for us to get back soon as well Ebs, but I don’t know how long it will take Daddy to figure something out and I think from what I overheard earlier that he and Daddy Sam are spending a week at the beach house in California, so we might be here for at least a week.” Beth said and bit down on her bottom lip knowing that this was probably going to freak Ebony out all over again. “I’m really sorry Ebs, I wish I knew what happened to my power, I mean I can still freeze time and I can still teleport and speed and slow time down, I just can’t move in time either forward or back and that’s why I think it might be temporary.” Beth said trying to explain it some more but knowing that it probably wasn’t doing much good.
Ebony soon picked up her bag and asked what they did now, Beth took a look around and recognised the house right away, “Well we’re at my Daddy’s house, and hopefully my key will still work in the lock in this time, we can at least go inside and see if Daddy comes home anytime soon and see if there’s anything can be done about it I guess hopefully before he leaves to go to California.” Beth suggested and gave Ebony a weak smile wondering what she would think to that suggestion.

When Ebony had said that she wished that they had known, or at least Beth knew the side effects of what they were going to do, Beth soon commented on that. What Ebony heard was probably right. Beth may not have come back to save her father, if she knew what would have happened. At the end Beth said that she felt like such a selfish little bitch, saying that the guy was right. Ebony swallowed, then shook her head. "Beth, you are far from selfish, or a bitch. You are the most sweetest person, and don't you ever let anyone else make you think differently." Ebony then put her arms around Beth for a few seconds, giving her a warm hug.
Ebony then listened to what Beth said about not knowing how long it was going to take her dad to figure out someting. Then she spoke of where her dad and Sam were going for a week. All Ebony could do was blink a couple of times, feeling a little anger rise inside her, but she had to control that as it wasn't Beth's fault. "A whole week?" Ebony sighed, and then bit on her bottom lip a little. Beth then spoke more, saying she was sorry, and wished she knew what had happened to her power. Ebony shrugged a little bit, then Beth told her what she could still do, saying that it might be only temporary. Without thinking, Ebony then said quietly, "I hope so." She quickly looked up at Beth. "I didn't mean it how it might have sounded. I just... just want to get back home, you know?"
Ebony then picked up her bag, and asked Beth what they did now. When she said that they were at her dad's house, Ebony swung around, soon recognising it. During the drama of freaking out, she didn't even recognise it. Hearing what they could do, Ebony nodded. "Okay then. Let's see if it still works. It will be our luck that he has changed the locks in the future or something." Once again Ebony sighed and looked at Beth, "Sorry. I guess I am not thinking before I speak suddenly." She gave Beth a weak smile, and then followed her towards the house.

{ooc - feel bad that these posts have been taking me so long to get through recently - need to get back on the game again}
Beth felt truly bad that she had managed to get her ‘cousin’ and herself stuck in the past but she honestly didn’t think that anything would go wrong with her power. When she said that the guy who had called her a selfish bitch was right as that’s the way she was feeling she soon saw Ebony shake her head and then she spoke saying that she was far from selfish or a bitch and that she was the sweetest person and not to let anyone make her think different and then Ebony hugged her for a few seconds. Beth gave her a weak smile, “Thanks Ebs, I’ve heard of people altering things all the time and never heard anything about anybody’s power going screwy on them, so I don’t know why it’s happened to me.” Beth was very much like her father Dominic although she also had a lot of her other father Sam’s traits too, but definitely more like Dominic and suddenly the emotion of it all just got on top of her and she began to cry again. “I know Daddy spoiled me a lot and a lot of people call me a spoiled kid of the rich and famous, it’s been hinted at in many a magazine, but I honestly wasn’t doing this for myself I was doing it for Daddy.” She could feel the tears beginning to fall again.
When Beth had then explained to Ebony that they might not get any help until both her Daddies had come home from their trip away it would seem that Ebony was getting all worked up again although Beth didn’t really blame her, she didn’t want to be stuck in this time either. “I know Ebs, I wish it could be sorted sooner too I really do, I know that Daddy and Daddy Sam are going to be missing me so much in our time, and I know that Aunt Stace and Uncle D will be going crazy, I honestly wish it would just magically start working again.” Beth closed her eyes and again tried to will the time forward but nothing happened, no sensation and still standing outside the house. “Just tried again and still can’t move in time.” She said in a sad voice. When Beth had said that it might be temporary Ebony replied saying she hoped so and then added that she didn’t mean how it might have sounded she just wanted to get home. Beth nodded her head, “I understand Ebs, and I want to go home too, believe me, as much as I think Daddy and I already have a connection, but I know that when my power is sorted I could easily travel through time to see him again if I wanted.”
When Ebony had asked what they were going to do now, Beth had suggested going into the house and waiting to see if they could speak to her Daddy before he left for California with Sam and Ebony agreed saying she hoped the key worked in this time adding that it might be their luck that Dominic had changed the locks in their time and then she apologised. Beth just waved her hand slightly, “I understand how you’re feeling Ebs I swear, but hopefully it will all work out fine.” Beth then tried the lock in the door and it turned, she turned to Ebony and gave her a smile, “It works.” She said and then opened the door fully into the massive hallway entrance and soon began to feel immediately at home. “Nothing has changed much from now till our time. Slight different decor maybe, but the layout and everything he’s kept the same style, that’s kind of cool to be honest.” Beth said and giggled a little as she made her way into the lounge expecting it to be the same room as it was in her time and of course it was.
“Do you want a soda or something, I’m sure Daddy will have something in his fridge, probably Coke knowing that Aunt Stace sometimes visits.” She waited to see what Ebony would say before she made her way into the kitchen to get a drink for herself, she needed it after all the crying she had done because her throat was dry and sore.

After Ebony had told Beth that she was far from selfish and a bitch, adding more to that, finishing off with saying that to not let anyone make her think differently, Ebony then hugged Beth, hoping that everything would be okay now. Beth soon thanked her, and said that she had heard people altering things all the time, and never heard anything about anybody's powers going screwy. Ebony shook her head a little, as Beth said she didn't know why it had happened to her. Ebony continued to hug Beth, as she spoke more, and she sighed a little. "I know you weren't doing it for yourself Beth." She knew the first thing she had to do when they eventually got back to their own time, was to set the magazines straight about Beth.
When Ebony again started to get a bit freaked out over it all, Beth said she knew, and that she wished it could be sorted sooner too. Hearing that her two dads were going to be missing her so much in their time, and she knew that Ebony's own parents were going to be going crazy made her feel upset again. As much as she sometimes tried to defy her mother, Ebony felt bad for just leaving with Beth, and now she had no idea how Stacey and David were going to be. Well, if how she was now with the whole situation, then she knew how her mother was.
Ebony didn't mean to have a tone in her voice, when she said that she hoped so, in regards to hoping that what was wrong was only temporary. She soon said so, adding that she just wanted to get home. Ebony listened to what Beth said about what she would be able to do when her ability was sorted out, and nodded. But then wondered if she would go with her again, after it was fixed, just in case it happened again. So she shut her mouth, not wanting Beth to know how she felt about it.
Ebony had then asked what they were going to do now. Beth sugested for them to go into the house. And once again Ebony said something which she should have, then apologised. Beth then said that she understood how Ebony was feeling, which led to Ebony giving her a weak smile. She hated being like this, but she truly just wanted to get back to their own time. Beth put the key in the lock, and it worked. Ebony sighed a little, thanking their lucky stars that they were able to get in.
Beth soon opened the door, and Ebony followed her insinde. Ebony looked around, and as Beth said that nothing much had changed, she slowly nodded, continuing to look around. Ebony listened to what more Beth said, and she had to agree. Dom had similar tastes, but would just change it slightly to suit him. It was always cool to see what he would come up with, but Ebony knew that she would never be like that. Liking somethings to be the same to make her feel more at ease.
Ebony soon noticed that Beth was moving towards the lounge room. She slowly headed in that direction, and couldn't stop her eyes from roaming over every inch of the place. She quickly diverted her eyes to Beth, when she asked if she wanted a soda or something. The talk of her mother made her smile a little. Ebony had gotten her love of Coke from Stacey, since she had been told that she had drunk the stuff a lot when she was pregnant with her. "Sure. Coke will be good." As Beth made her way to get them a drink from the kitchen, Ebony slowly sat down on the lounge, and placed her bag on the floor. She just couldn't believe that she was stuck in this time, but she also couldn't believe that she was in the house that she knew so well, when visiting Uncle Dom, Sam, and Beth.
She looked at her phone to see what time it was, and saw the date. Thinking about it, she knew that she was about a month old now in this time, and wondered what her mum and dad were like, and wondered if she shold pay them a visit or not.

Beth was really upset that she had managed to get her and Ebony stuck in the past and couldn’t seem to stop apologising enough. Ebony was hugging her and it did feel good and did calm her down a little when Ebony had then said she knew that she wasn’t doing it for herself it calmed her down some more. She took in a few breaths to compose herself, she had her father Dominic to blame for her over emotional state as he could cry very easily too, but really she loved the traits she carried from both her Daddies. “I’m glad you believe me.” Beth said in a soft voice although she didn’t think for one minute that Ebony wouldn’t believe her; she was her best friend in the whole wide world after all.
Soon enough Ebony had asked what they were going to do now and Beth suggested that they go into her Daddy’s house because her key was sure to work in this time, or at least she hoped, she didn’t think there would be a reason why her Daddy would change the locks on the door. The key did work and they were soon enough inside Beth’s home only they were in it in the past rather than in the future. She had taken a look around and noticed that there wasn’t much changed other than there weren’t the massive amount of photos on the walls of her at all different ages on her own and with her two Daddies. Her Daddy had been ever so proud and had pictures of her everywhere in the future.
She led her and Ebony into the lounge room and soon noticed some framed photos of her Aunt Stace holding a baby Ebony. Beth picked one of them up off the display cabinet and handed it to Ebony with a grin, “Look Ebs, it’s you with your mom when you were just a baby, oh and look, there’s another with Daddy holding you.” Not that it would have been any surprise at all, because those photos were still in the house in their time too. Beth had then asked Ebony if she wanted a soda or something adding that there was sure to be Coke in the fridge because her Daddy would have it in for when her Aunt Stace visited. Ebony replied saying that Coke would be good. “Okay Ebs, back in a second or two.” Beth replied and then made her way into the kitchen.
Beth came out a few moments later with a tray and two glasses on it, she didn’t dare to carry them through without a tray for fear of dropping them onto the carpet, it was the same in the future her Daddy always carried drinks and food out onto trays unless they were actually sitting at the dining table of course. “Here you go Ebs.” Beth said as she handed her friend a glass from the tray and then sat down next to her and took a sip of her own Coke and then wondered if her Daddy would be home anytime soon so they could maybe try and talk about getting back to their time but she had this awful feeling that with everything that happened earlier the only thing he would want to do would be to get away with Sam and she really couldn’t blame him.
“If we’re going to be stuck here, we might as well be comfortable I guess and I bet you Daddy gives me money for us to get some clothes for while we’re here and how about watching a dvd? We might as well do something than just sit here.” Beth then got up and went to the dvd collection and soon spotted the movie she wanted to watch because she knew it was her Daddy Sam’s favourite movie and she also knew that her Daddy loved it too. “How about watching Notting Hill Ebs?” She asked if anything she was just trying to keep her friend calm, she really hoped that her power would work properly but she kept trying on the quiet to shift in time forward or back but it still wasn’t working.

When they had headed into the lounge room, Ebony looked around, and soon Beth was showing her a picture of Ebony with her mum. Ebony smiled at it, taking it from Beth slowly. Looking at it was bringing back memories of all the images that she had seen around Uncle Dom's place here and in her own house. Then Beth had pointed out the photo of Dom holding her. Ebony looked at that one. "All the times mom told me that your dad rocked me to calm me down if I was crying, when he was at our place." Ebony smiled a bit more, and placed the photo back on the cabinet.
Beth was soon gone to get them a drink, and Ebony sat down on the lounge. She was thinking about being stuck in this time, and looked around the room more. When Ebony had looked at the time, she noticed the date, recalling that she was about a month old in this current time. As she wondered if she should visit her mum and dad while she was here, Beth came back with the drinks on a tray. When she was handed a drink, Ebony gave Beth a grin, "Thanks." She then, without thinking, downed half the glass, and then placed it down on the tray. Giggling a little, she looked at Beth, "I think I really needed that."
Beth soon spoke, stating if they were going to be stuck here, they might as well get comfortable. Ebony slowly nodded, hoping that it wouldn't be that long that they would be stuck here for. Hearing her talk more about getting money off her dad for their clothes, then changing the subject to watching a dvd, Ebony had to giggle a little. "Okay to both those things. Though I would hate to take money off of him. Like, I would be grateful, but I know that I would have to somehow repay him, especially if he had to let us stay here for however long we are here for." Ebony didn't want to be a burden on him, if they were going to have to stay here for a while.
"And the dvd sounds good." Ebony grabbed her drink again, and sipped it this time. As she put the glass down, she let out a big burp, which made her fly her hands to her mouth, laughing. "Excuse me!" She hated when that happened, but it always happened when she drank Coke. Another thing that she got from her mother. Ebony watched Beth look at the dvd's then mentioned the one movie that Ebony knew well. "Why not? I guess it is the first copy he had, since he played a few to death if I recall." But what could you expect? If you love a movie enough, it will eventually get worn out.
When the movie was put in, Ebony waited for Beth to come back and sit down. The movie started to play, but Ebony couldn't hold back what she was thinking. She turned to Beth, and bit on her bottom lip a little. "I was thinking a minute ago about something. What do you think of the idea of me seeing mom and dad?" She thought it was better to mention that one first, before her next thought was spoken aloud.

{ooc - when this thread is getting to the end - I might pop Dominic in for one post - just to like you know give them money for some clothes and his contact details for California should anything go wrong. Just be one post that will be needed.}
When Beth showed Ebony the photo of her Daddy Dom holding Ebony as a baby she heard Ebony talk about the times that her Daddy used to rock her to settle her down when she was crying. Beth smiled warmly as she listened to Ebony talk about it. “Daddy says he sung to you sometimes too, apparently his voice could settle you down but that’s no surprise really since his voice used to settle me down as well.” It did feel strange to be in her own home in this time, because as much as the decor and furniture hadn’t changed too much there wasn’t the myriad of photos that there was in her home now, although with the ones she had pointed out to Ebony so far it was clear to see it was definitely the start of them all. “You know Ebs, I’m really glad my Daddy and your mom are such good friends because I wouldn’t have the most awesome friend and ‘cousin’ otherwise.” Beth gushed, her personality pretty much like her Daddy Dom’s, although she definitely had the best of both Dom and Sam in her.
Beth had then gone to get her and Ebony a drink and came back into the lounge room with the glasses on a tray. Beth soon handed a glass to Ebony and she sat down next to her and soon took a sip of her own drink. Ebony thanked her and downed half the glass in one gulp more or less. Beth couldn’t help but giggle along with Ebony and then she said she really needed it. “It sure looks like it; well I can tell you that there is plenty in the fridge like I knew there would have been.” Beth said and grinned at Ebony. Beth had then spoken saying if they were going to be stuck there for some time they might as well get comfortable talking about her Daddy probably giving them money to get clothes and then asked if she wanted to watch a dvd. It was typical of Beth to ramble stuff out in an excited way like she just had.
Ebony giggled a little and then replied saying okay to both of those things but added that she would hate to take money off of her Daddy. Beth just shook her head, “Ebs you should know my Daddy by now, if he offers he won’t take no for an answer. I know Aunt Stace had to back down a few times but I also know that he didn’t spoil her that often because he knew she didn’t like taking him for granted.” Beth said remembering all the stories that her Daddy had told him about the gifts and treats he had given her Aunt Stace over time. “But that said I’m hoping we won’t be stuck here for that long, but I also know if my power gets fixed I’ll probably want to come and see him and Daddy Sam in this time again, at least when I’m not coming back to change the past my power should stay intact.” Well she hoped it would but she figured if she got stuck again if they did get back and she hoped they would, that another solution would soon come along.
Ebony then said the dvd sounded good, so Beth had got up and looked through the dvd’s that were there. As she did this however she soon heard Ebony let out a big burp which made Beth turn round and saw that Ebony had her hands up at her mouth and laughing and then excused herself. Beth just fell about giggling, “Don’t sweat it Ebs, like Daddy says what goes in must come out, you should just be thankful it came from that end.” She raised her eyebrow slightly and giggled some more before turning back to the dvd collection. She soon found the dvd that she wanted to see and hopefully Ebony would like to see as well. It was one of her Daddy and Daddy Sam’s favourite movies and as she had got old enough to appreciate movies she had watched it with them many a time.
When she asked Ebony about it she replied saying why not and then added that it would be the first copy he had as he had played a few to death if she recalled. Beth giggled a little, “Yeah, I think the copy we have at home now in our time is like his fifth copy of it or something.” Beth put the dvd in and then sat back next to Ebony again getting ready to watch the movie when Ebony turned to her biting on her bottom lip a little which made Beth wonder what was going through her mind as that was usually a tell tale sign of uncertainty with Ebony, just like it was when Beth did that move. Ebony then asked her what she thought of her seeing her mom and dad. Well it wasn’t that much of a shock really, and to be fair she had now met both her Daddies in this time although one of them wasn’t aware of her yet but Daddy Dom seemed to take her presence alright. “I don’t know Ebs, it’s up to you I guess, I mean Daddy took finding out about me alright, but well this is Aunt Stace we’re talking about, she might be a bit, well freaked you know? But I’m sure she’ll get over it, if you want to go I say go, but is there a reason why you want to go?” Beth asked wondering if there was something luring Ebony to want to go and see her mom and dad.

{ooc - no worries Mands.}
Ebony listened to Beth more, about what she said about her dad, Dom, singing to her sometimes, as apparently his voice would settle her down. Ebony nodded, remembering her mum talking about that, and whenever she got the chance she would thank Dom for what he did for her. Well it was more when she was younger, but she was still thankful for what he did to help when he could. When Beth said that she was glad that her dad and Stacey were good friends, as she wouldn't have the most awesome friend and cousin otherwise, Ebony gave her a big smile, then wrapped her arms around Beth. "Well I am glad too. You have been with me for as long as I can remember, and I woudln't want it any other way."
After Ebony had downed half the glass of Coke, she had giggled with Beth about it. She then said that she really needed it, which had led to Beth saying that it sure looked like it. Hearing Beth also say that there was plenty in the fridge liek she knew there would have been, Ebony nodded, giggling more. "Yes, well you can blame my mother for that one." At least she got the taste for Coke more than the peanut butter, even though she liked that also.
When Beth spoke of her dad giving them money for clothes while they were here, then asking if Ebony wanted to watch a dvd, Ebony soon replied yes to both. But she also said that she would hate to take Dom's money. When Beth said that Ebony should know her dad by not, Ebony nodded, and listened to what else Beth had to say. "I know. I have heard a few stories off mom too. And as it might only be for a short time, I guess I will just have to take it." She smiled at Beth, hoping that it would only be for a short time that they would be stuck for. Beth then said that she was hoping that they wouldn't be stuck for that long, adding that if her power gets fixed she will want to come and see her dad's. "Well that is understandable Beth. I am sure that they would be glad to see you."
As Beth was finding the dvd they were after to watch, Ebony had let out a big burp, which had made her cover her mouth as she laughed out loud. She had then excused herself, and soon saw Beth laughing as well. In a way Ebony was kind of waiting for the next thing to be said, as she did remember Dom saying it a couple of times. "I am thankful it came out this end. If it was the other, I would have stunk out the house." This led to Ebony laughing even harder, though soon calmed down, wiping at her eyes of the tears that had come from laughing too hard.
Ebony had commented that the copy of Notting Hill that they were going to watch was probably the first copy, as he had played a few to death if she recalled. Beth then acknowledged this by saying that the copy in their time was probably the fifth copy. The dvd was soon put in, and Beth was now sitting next to Ebony. As it started up, Ebony knew that this was a better time to tell Beth what was on her mind. Ebony soon asked Beth what she though of her seeing her mum and dad. Beth soon said she didn't know, saying it was up to Ebony. Hearing that it was Stacey they were talking about, which made Ebony snicker a little. If she was anything like her mother, she had a fair idea how she might react to the news of her baby daughter all grown up in front of her eyes.
Though then Beth said the last thing that had gotten Ebony to bit on her bottom lip a little. Ebony fiddled with her bracelet again, looking down at it, as she spoke. "I, uh, just wanted to see them, that's all." But she knew that she had to tell Beth the truth. So she looked at Beth, and just sighed. "I guess, I want to know about my biological dad. If I know a bit about him, I might get an idea of some of my traits that just don't match with mom, you know." Then in a quiet voice, as she turned to pay attention to the movie, Ebony quickly said, "And I would also like to meet my real dad."

When Beth had said to Ebony that she was glad her daddy and Ebony’s mom were good friends or she wouldn’t have the most awesome friend and cousin otherwise Ebony wrapped her arms around Beth and Beth returned that gesture. Then Ebony spoke saying that she was glad too because Beth had been with her for as long as she could remember and wouldn’t want it any other way. This caused a tear to fall from Beth’s eye. “I wouldn’t want it any other way either Ebs, I feel like we are family really, just because we’re all so close.” It was true, because Beth called David her uncle and Stacey her aunt and as Beth got older the love her daddy had for Ebony was very much evident.
After Ebony had downed half the glass of Coke that Beth had given her she had made a comment on there being plenty more in the fridge which had made Ebony nod and giggle saying that she could blame her mother for that one. Beth began to giggle also then, “It’s typical of daddy to make sure that he’s got that in for aunt Stace though, I bet there’s at least one peanut butter slice in the kitchen cupboard somewhere too.” Beth giggled again and couldn’t help but then follow it through with a slight sigh thinking how they had all managed to stay so close despite her father’s professional singing career; he had always made time for his family and friends.
Beth had said that she guessed her daddy would want to give them both some money to get some clothes for while they would be stuck in this time and of course Ebony had spoken about wanting to give him back the money somehow. Beth had then said to Ebony that she should know her daddy by now and that he wouldn’t take no for an answer and would never dream of taking the money back off of Ebony either. Ebony had replied saying that she had heard stories from her mom adding that as it might only be for a short time she guessed she would just have to take it. Beth smiled at Ebony, “Good because I don’t want to see daddy having to force the money into your hand because I just know that despite the fact you’re only a baby in this time that daddy will not see you without fresh clothes, he’s always looked out for you and aunt Stace I can’t see him being any different now just because you’re here from the future.” Beth explained and gave Ebony another smile. It was true that her daddy had spoiled both of them over time but even Beth could admit that it was just enough that she was able to keep grounded despite what the paparazzi said about her in the future being a spoiled rich brat.
Beth had then said she hoped that they wouldn’t be stuck here for long but if she got her power fixed she would want to come back and see both her daddies in this time especially if a bond was formed between them and Beth felt there was already a bond between her and her daddy in this time despite her not being born yet. Ebony replied saying that it was understandable and she was sure they would be glad to see her. “I hope so, although I guess once I am here as a baby they will have enough to deal with without their teenage daughter from the future landing on their doorstep as well, although I could babysit for them.” Beth said and then fell about giggling realising how absurd that would be, to babysit herself as a baby.
When Ebony had excused herself when she let out a big burp Beth had automatically quoted her daddy and when Ebony replied saying she was glad that it had come out the end it had otherwise she would have stunk the house out. Ebony then began to laugh which made Beth giggle all the more as she continued to choose a dvd for them to watch. “Well I am sure we would have gotten rid of the smell before anyone came home.” Beth answered and giggled some more. Despite being stuck in this time it was certainly good to be laughing with Ebony again.
Once they had decided to watch Notting Hill and Beth had begun to play the movie Ebony had soon begun to talk about going to see her mom and dad in this time and had asked Beth her opinion on it. Beth had said she didn’t know and that her daddy took her arrival alright but they were talking about aunt Stace here and she may freak but then added that she would probably get over it. Beth had then asked if there was a reason she wanted to go. Ebony replied as she played with her bracelet and bit down on her bottom lip and said she just wanted to see them. “Come on Ebs, you can’t fool me, there’s more to it I can tell so what is it?” Beth asked and continued to look at Ebony wondering if she would tell her anything more or not. Then Ebony came out with it, saying she wanted to know more about her biological father. Beth opened her mouth slightly and then copying Ebony’s action bit on her bottom lip slightly, but then that was a move she got from her daddy as well as the giggling. “Not sure what to say about that Ebs, how come you haven’t asked about him in our own time though, why ask them in this time? As for wanting to meet him, well it’s not up to anybody to say whether that’s right or wrong, but if aunt Stace didn’t tell you about your biological father I am guessing there are good reasons for that. Maybe you wouldn’t want to meet him?” Beth didn’t mean to sound nasty or anything she was just thinking of her friend’s feelings. What could it do to Ebony to track down her biological father and have him turn his back on her?

Ebony saw that tear fall from Beth's eye, "Aww Beth, don't do that." She wiped it away, and then listened to what Beth had to say in reply. Ebony smiled warmly at Beth, just knowing how they both felt for each other, it was more than true. "And we love each other like family too." Ebony hugged Beth, giving her a kiss on the cheek. She hoped that she would be Beth's best friend till the end of time.
Hearing Beth mention the coke, and then saying that she bet that there was at least one peanut butter slice in the kitchen cupboard made her giggled. "Well if there is, it is mine later! Though you do remember that sometimes mum and I have to fight each other for them." It was kind of funny, though only to be expected, what with all the peanut butter, and the slices that Stacey had eaten when she was pregnant with Ebony.
Ebony nodded to what Beth was saying about her dad giving Ebony money. "I know he has always looked out for us, and I am grateful. I would never be like how the magazines and newspaper think you are like. I really still want to tell them how you are, how different you are to how they think you are." Ebony just got angry every time she read something about Beth. She had though a couple of times emailed them about her point of view on Beth. Beth was just the most caring and sweetest person, just like her father.
Ebony giggled a little, when Beth spoke about she hoped that they would be glad to see her, if she was to come back from the future again. "I think baby sitting yourself would be kind of weird, but at least you would know what would work if you started to cry or something." Just thinking about what it would look like to see Beth cradling herself made her giggle, then start to laugh. "Just had an image of you cradling yourself. Would be funny to see."
Once the movie started, Ebony had spoken about wanting to see her mum and dad in this time line. Though after a little while, Beth asked if there was a reason for her wanting to go. Ebony just gave her an answer of just wanting to see them. Hearing Beth say that she couldn't fool her. That was typical, if Ebony spoke in a small voice, giving the answer that people wanted to hear, it always seemed that Beth could see right though her. So she finally said why she wanted to see them. But after turning to look at the movie, then added quietly that she also wanted to meet her real dad.
When Beth started to reply to what she said, Ebony played with her bracelet a little, pretending to watch the movie, but hearing what was being said was louder to her. She turned to look at Beth, and taking in what she was saying. When Beth asked why she didn't ask about him in their time, Ebony gave a small shrug, not really sure. She didn't know if she started to talk, she might get a little upset, so she just looked at Beth as she continued to talk. Then came the next bit about wanting to meet her biological father.
Ebony didn't know how to take what Beth said to her about it. Her emotions got the better of her, and she started to feel hurt, angry, and very upset. Ebony turned away from Beth, looking at the television with her eyes misting over. She quickly wiped away a tear that escaped her eye, and blinked a couple of times. Without thinking, Ebony stood up quickly from the lounge, still looking at the television. Biting on her bottom lip again wasn't helping her hold it together very well, and the next words to escape her lips were not well thought out at all. "I thought... I thought you would have been more... supportive Bethany."
With that, Ebony ran from the lounge room, and out the front door. She only got a few steps away from the front door, when she stopped, and just started to cry. Though through the tears, Ebony knew that what Beth was saying. Her mum probably had good intentions not to tell her about her biological father. But what could you do when you grew up and just wanted to know who he was? That was how Ebony felt, and as she started to calm down, she felt even worse for running out on Beth. She knew that Beth would know that she didn't like what was being said, as she has called Beth by her full name.
