Claire found she couldn't help but laugh when Mohinder made the statement about being sorry about her marriage but the food being good. She really had no come back on it, instead she just laughed and laughed and finally she managed to composed herself enough to say something back. "Yes, well mistakes are a bad thing, but if you can admit them, its a good thing, and it may have taken you a while to realise your feelings, but you have and now its all good" Claire said softly giving Mohinder a winning smile.
It was well known Claire wasn't as close to Nathan her real father as she was to Noah, but that was because she'd grown up believing Noah to be her father, what did everybody expect. But she had taken the time to get to know Nathan better and had bonded with him, or at least so she thought.
"I might just do that Mohinder, I'd like to be there for him, we might not be as close as we should be, but I thought we had been doing a good job of it recently" Claire explained as best she could. "And of course, I'd totally go for the good food as well" she added as a joke.
Then Mohinder said he had to get going. Just as she was beginning to enjoy their conversation, but she knew all good things had to come to an end eventually.
"Okay Mohinder, well it's been great catching up with you again, you take care and of course I'll do the same thing" she said referring to her baby as she absent mindedly put her hand on her stomach with a smile.

“I second that” Mohinder said with a grin as he nodded in agreement with her about mistakes are a bad thing and if you can admit them then it was a good thing. It was a true statement. Well, in his cultural it is a very awkward situation, but in this cultural everyone seems to talk and admit their mistake which was probably a good thing.
Mohinder knew that Claire wasn’t that close to Nathan. She barely got to know him. However to be perfectly honest, he trusted Noah the best out of her two father’s. Nevertheless, he wasn’t going to admit that to her. No one needed to know.
The Indian nodded, “Perhaps it would be good for him to see you” He said with a slight smile as he got up out of his chair and grabbed his bag. He was getting ready to go. “Food is always good” He added as he paced his bag over his neck.
“Hopefully we will see one another again” He said with a nod as he went up to her and hugged her. “Have a good day” He said as he walked away from her, exiting the door, leaving the young mother-to-be alone in his lab.
[End!]
