“Who then?” Luke said, sitting up and looking round. It was the first time that he had met someone else with an ability, and if Stephen did replicate others abilities then it meant that he must have come into contract with them recently.
It was weird though, how he had managed to find someone like him just by hopping from rooftop to rooftop, and that he had found Stephen just as he was falling to his death, almost like he had a destiny to save the guy, and that would probably end up making his life a lot more interesting.

"I think my dad has has the fire thing and my sister has the mind reading. My dad didn't seemed freaked out when I first used the fire thing and my sister always seems to know what people are thinking." Stephen replied.
Just then his dad entered, walking out of the door that led to the roof.
"I see you've met another special? I'm sorry but I listened in on the whole conversation." Stephen's dad said, "You both are good guessers, Stephen is a Power mimicer, he can mimic almost any ability but losses it in his sleep. I found this out while I was searching for answers, I knew that you had a powerful ability, so I had to find out how to get you to control it. I found this school, they help specials learn about their abilities, I came up here to ask you if you wanted to go there but you were talking to Luke."
Stephen was surprised to hear there was a school for people like him, he would think that something like that would have been discovered by now. The idea sounded good to him though, a place were he would be the norm instead of the weird person. He wasn't that weird at his current school but he felt like he was.

Luke watched as this new person enter, who was meant to be Stephens dad. “So you’re the one who creates fire then?” he asked. Standing up to look around. He could see several rooftops nearby he could teleport to if he wasn’t meant to be here, or something went wrong with two people creating fire.
He didn’t like the idea of this ‘school’ thing much. Why should someone else have to tell him how he should be using his own power? It wasn’t something that he felt that he should have to learn, it should just be something that came naturally to you, either that or you would be unsure of your own power for the rest of your life.

Stephen dad turned to Luke, "Ya, I'm the Pyro." he said as he ignited his hands, he did it by snapping his fingers. The flame was the same dark blue as Stephen's.
"So Stephen, do you want to go to this school? I really want you to, for your own safety. If you don't learn how to control your ability then you might end up destroying things on complete accident." he then said to Stephen.
Stephen looked at his dad, "I think that's a good idea, I don't like the thought of accidentily using some ability and killing people."
Stephen then heard Lukes thoughts about the school, "Well your power isn't dangerous, you can't accidentily blow up stuff by teleporting, I on the otherhand might mimic some random power and blow up somwthing. I don't have the pleasure of learning to control my ability by myself cause it might kill somebody."
Stephen only said this because he felt he needed his reasons understood.
Stephen's dad nodded, "Alright then, go pack your bags. I'll take you there once your done."
Stephen and his dad walked toward the door that led to the stairs. Stephen stopped at the entrance and turned around to face Luke and said, "Well I guess this is goodbye. See ya Luke. Unless you want to come that is"
Stephen had half hoped that Luke would want wanted to come, he wouldn't know anyone there and it would have been nice to have a friend there.

Luke laughed slightly when he was told his power couldn’t hurt anyone else. “I can teleport anyone – anywhere.” He said, “You think I couldn’t leave you somewhere to die.” When he really thought about it there was no real way of making any power that he could think of safe, they would all just have to learn on their own.
When he was asked whether or not he wanted to go to the school he had to think for a few seconds before deciding. “No thanks.” He said. He would have hated someone else trying to tell him how to use his power, and especially if that person didn’t even have his power, which would probably be the case if he did go. “Well I’ll see ya later then.” Luke said, teleporting back to another roof, now what was he going to do.
