January 4th, 2009
Jason Moore shrugged his shoulders back as he walked away from Pinehearst. He was glad that the day was over with. He hated working with this Suresh guy. He was a jerk and was always in a pissed off mood. He had no clue what the hell the guy’s problem was. And Jason was just glad to leave it for the day and hope that tomorrow Suresh didn’t come to work. Jason was pretty friendly with people, but Suresh was just a different story.
The twenty-four year old sighed and decided that he would go to Starbucks before he headed home which was in New York. He got on his motorcycle and rode to the Starbucks that was across the street. He could have rode to Starbucks, but decided that it was perhaps best for him to ride since he wanted to leave Starbucks once he got his drink.
Jason entered the Starbucks and frown a bit as there was a line for once. In his few weeks in New Jersey, this Starbucks never had a line. He sighed and placed his hands in his pocket. He wondered to himself what he should have for a drink. He decided that perhaps a Carmel Macchiato would be the best for him on this cold night in New Jersey. Hopefully it would. It was finally his turned. He ordered his Macchiato and waited for his coffee.

Daphne had been given orders once again to locate someone. She'd already got Matt into the Company, and now Angela had found out that two of her members, agents, specials, what ever Angela called them or referred to them as, had a brother working for Pinehearst and she didn't like it.
She didn't like it one little bit. At least, not to do their bidding. After some considerable thought, Angela had decided to use him as a spy for her. So she asked Daphne to track him down and request it of him.
So here she was once again back in New Jersey, and as she hadn't managed to locate him as yet, she decided to go for a coffee in the Starbucks. She'd recognise him right away though because she had been given a photograph of him Angela had some how managed to get from Katie, his sister.
As she made her way into the coffee shop, she recognised him almost immediately. She just wasn't sure how to approach him. Just run up, drag him away and say hey you're coming with me? Or does she just accidentally bump into him. What ever she was going to do it had to be fast.
Not even waiting to be served, because the queue was terribly long she jumped to where he was and smiled her lips in her usual pouting purse, "Jason Moore?" she asked just to make sure it was indeed him. "If so, we need to talk, I'm Daphne Millbrook" she said introducing herself, so he hopefully wouldn't be too worried or annoyed that she knew his name.

Jason got his drink and then turned around when someone called his name. He was wondering if this person who knew his name was a person from Pinehearst or perhaps a old friend. However, when he looked at the person he didn’t recognize the person.
He drank his drink before he decided that he would speak to this individual known as Daphne Millbrook. “What’s it to ya?” he asked in a sarcastic tone. As he took another sip of his drink. No one ever introduced themselves to him or knew his name.
There were only a select few of people that actually knew his name in this Starbucks and this person Daphne wasn’t an employee. So this had to be something to do with a Company or something. He wasn’t sure, but he would figure it out. He bit down on his lower lip waiting for this person to reply to him.

Well Daphne though, he seemed charming. At least she'd got a better response from Matt when she had spoken to him. However she couldn't really blame him, he didn't exactly know her. She just went up to him bold as anything said his name and introduced herself, not the ideal way to begin a conversation with someone you didn't know.
"I was sent to find you by Angela Petrelli" she began giving him a weak smile before ordering herself a latte and taking a sip after it was given to her.
"She basically found out you are the older brother of two of her newly recruited agents Katie and Josh, and she wasn't overly happy about the fact you were working for the opposing team" Daphne tried to explain as she shrugged her shoulders back slightly.
She herself once worked for Pinehearst, but she was lucky to have found the error of her ways and joined Angela's team at Primatech instead.
"She has a proposition to put to you which she wants to ask through me" Daphne went on to explain. This was probably going to be very awkward, but it needed to be done. She just hoped Jason would agree to do it, because Daphne had a feeling if she went back and told Angela he had refused she wouldn't be very happy. Just like she hadn't been happy until Daphne finally found Matt and got him to join her team.

Jason listened to this short person. He just rolled his eyes as and just gave a weak smile when she said that she was sent by Angela Petrelli. “I see” He said as he took a sip of his coffee. He glanced around the Starbucks to look for an empty table. “Let’s go sit down”
He motioned for her to follow him. He then sat down at an empty table and listened to the rest of this bullshit that this short person was talking about. Should, I really join? He wondered to himself as he took a sip of his coffee once again.
“So I wonder if Katie told her about me” He said as he shook his head. He really shouldn’t have told his siblings that he was working for Pinehearst. That was probably a bad idea, but he liked his job at Pinehearst, but then again he had a feeling that they weren’t going to help him get rid of his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
He took a sip of his coffee again, “So what is this proposition?” He asked a bit curious. “Because I have this feeling that Pinehearst really doesn’t have a cure for my PTSD, I don’t think no one has” He said as he finished his cup of coffee. He wondered when Daphne would tell him this proposition.

Daphne nodded her head in agreement when he motioned for them to sit down. Following him she went to the table he had found which was free. She took her own drink with her, taking a sip as she sat down opposite him.
She shrugged her shoulders back slightly, "I don't know if Katie told her anything or not, I only know what I've told you" Daphne said as she took some more sips of her latte. She wondered if she would get this Jason to agree to Angela's proposition or not. Matt had been easy enough to convince to join, but then she figured she had it easy convincing Matt because in a way he sort of liked her. She could tell virtually right away, and of course she had a bit of a soft spot for him right away too.
"Sorry to hear about the PTSD Jason" Daphne said with meaning, because she knew that people suffering from that disorder didn't have very easy lives. "Well, she doesn't exactly want you to work at Primatech, she does however want you to continue where you are but to be a spy and report back to me or anybody else at Primatech your findings" Daphne explained, letting out a gentle sigh as she took some more sips of her latte. It sounded bad in a way, being a spy wasn't the best thing in the world, but by doing this, not only would he be getting paid by Pinehearst, he'd be getting paid by Primatech too. He had the best of both worlds really.

“Well, obviously it was important if Katie mentioned something to her” He said with a slight smirk. Of course, Katie couldn’t keep her mouth closed about him. He really didn’t understand why Katie would speak to Angela Petrelli about him. However, it was odd to even think about that. He really wasn’t close with his siblings. Sure he was the middle one, but he barely paid attention to them.
“It’s okay, Daphne” He said with a smile “I will cope with it” He said as he sighed about mentioning the dreaded disorder that had taken over his life. It had taken him over differently than his friends. Perhaps it was because of his ability or was it because of something else? Jason didn’t know. He then turned his attention and listened to Daphne.
He raised an eyebrow when Daphne informed him of the prospection. It sounded too good to be true. He bit down on his lower lip, “Well, I do work with Dr. Suresh, I could report to him, he is an agent at Primatech isn’t he? I had to gather files for him at Primatech one day” He admitted “So basically my answer is I will work for you”

"Maybe she did say something then, I just thought she found out from other means" Daphne said in a rushed voice. Like her speed, Daphne usually liked to do everything fast, it was a part of her nature, so most of the time she speed talked. Most of the time everything was done in speed.
Daphne just gave him a weak smile when he said it was okay and he would cope with his condition. But in Daphne's experience of people suffering from PTSD it was never a good thing. It must be hell for him and his family. He should seriously see someone about it. Therapy, that was usually a good thing in these circumstances.
She was glad when he said he would work for them, but when he said to report to Mohinder, she wasn't sure. She wasn't sure if Angela completely trusted Mohinder much anymore just now. She had told Daphne he was to either report to her or Angela herself. But if she said this, then he might either say no, or he might wonder why Angela didn't trust one of her own team members.
"Well, that's good Jason, I'm sure Angela will be very pleased to hear it" she replied, as she then finished her latte. "Excuse me just a moment" she said to him as she took out her cell phone, flipped it open and dialled Angela's number.
"Yes, he's going to do it. No. No. Yes. He says he'll report to Mohinder because he works for us anyway. Yes, alright, bye Angela"
She then turned back to Jason, "She says thank you and welcome aboard" she said grinning at him, happy that she had done her job and happy that he had said yes.

“I see” Jason said as he wondered why she was speaking fast. No one he knew spoke that fast unless it was his old buddy back Iraq. Of course, his old friend had an ability just like him. His buddy had superhuman speed. He wondered if this person had ability or was she just another normal person.
Jason thought more about what he said about his PTSD syndrome. He had no clue why he was just going accept about coping with his condition. He didn’t need to see a shrink. Shrinks scared the living shit out of him and he didn’t care if this made him a person. He wasn’t going to get therapy, no one could force him.
He hoped this woman didn’t get mad at him for wanting to report to Dr. Suresh. He knew that Primatech was having issues with Suresh, but Suresh was just having a bit of difficulty coping with something. He wasn’t sure what it was, but this new Suresh was different and he couldn’t put his finger on it at the moment.
He smiled and gave a slight nod. As Daphne took out her cell phone Jason got up and threw his latte in the trash. He then sat back down as Daphne hung up the phone. “Alright” He said “Well, it was nice to talk with you, but I be best getting home” He said as he got up and held out his hand. “I look forward to working with you soon”

Daphne realised she must have been talking really fast again. She was going to have to try and control that part of her ability. Some people just didn't get it. She could tell from the look on his face he was wondering why she had spoken so fast.
A silence fell upon them for a couple of moments, probably while the both of them were thinking about each other, or some other sort of thoughts in each of their heads. Daphne hated long awkward silences.
However the next time he spoke, it was to say he had to get going. The meeting was short, but what could she do about it? The job was done, he'd agreed to do it, and her job of recruiting was over. "Okay then" she began, when he said he had best get going.
"It was nice to speak to you too" she added, as she took his held out hand and as she did so she saw a red spark come from it, and they both started to move, she let go pretty quickly, and still in the coffee shop, she looked around and almost died when she saw her and Jason back at their seat talking and drinking.
"You have an ability?" she asked, "Did we just, we did, we just went back in time when you touched me" she added incredulously. This was brilliant, what ever he had was making her go back in time. Was he some sort of time machine or something? "I wonder how far back we could go" she said more to herself than to Jason. But she was finding the whole thing rather exciting.
[ooc: I didn't know if that's what you had wanted me to do, or if you really were planning on finishing the thread, if you need me to modify let me know lol]

Jason nodded and smiled as she shook his hand. He really didn’t realize that his ability was going to kick in. He just looked down at his hand when he realized that blue sparks were coming out of his hand. That could only mean one thing. His ability had affected Daphne’s ability, if she had one.
He just blinked as he saw the two of them still sitting down. He rolled his eyes, he had done this many times before and it wasn’t anything new to him. He sighed as she started to talk to him again. “I’m a supercharger, I can supercharge any one’s abilities and make them stronger for the time being” He said with a weak smile “And yes, I have been back in time before” He said as he placed his hands in his pocket.
[Argh sorry]

Daphne was still amazed and in shock over what had just happened. The thought of being able to go back in time with her ability and his ability was quite exciting.
"Supercharge?" she repeated back to him. So that was the name of his ability. Her's was superspeed, so his superchage with her speed was making her go back in time, rather than forward, that was confusing her a little.
"So your ability, this supercharge which makes powers stronger, I don't get how it makes my superspeed go back in time, surely it would just make me go much faster than I already am?" she asked a little confused. She wasn't sure how it worked.
However Jason then said he had been back in time before. Obviously with his ability or else he wouldn't have said it. "How does it work then? When I run, I go forward, not back" she said very confused even though the idea sounded fantastic.

“Yes a supercharge” Jason said with a smile. It would seem that he would have to explain how his ability works. He never really explained how his ability worked to people. They just thought it was cool. He decided that perhaps it was time to explain it.
“Correct” He began “So you can move so fast that it can take you back in time for a few seconds” He said. It was the only lame term that he could explain. He wasn’t going to explain the whole science theory of how you can go back in time.
“As I said before you can move so fast that it can take you back in time for a few seconds, minutes, hell even back sixteen years” He said with a slight smirk.

As Daphne listened to Jason explain about his ability and how it works and what it does exactly Daphne realised it was brilliant. It was totally amazing her. The idea that it made her so fast she actually went back in time was crazy but wonderful. She was so confused and so excited about what his ability could do she hadn't even realised she'd said basically asked the same question twice.
"It's amazing, I mean that it could take me back as far as sixteen years. We could do that right now?" she asked excited and sounding amazed at the same time. To be able to go back in time, it must be amazing. She could go back in time and see herself as a young girl, how crazy would that be. Then again, going back in time to see herself as a young girl would mean Jason would see her with her leg braces and she wasn't sure she was ready to let people know about that yet.
She had already told Matt, but he was different.
"I'd love to test out the theory of how far back we could go though, would you mind?" she asked looking at him with pleading eyes and pouting ever so slightly. They could come back again right away couldn't they?

“Sure we could” He said with a smile. He wondered if this would work. He hadn’t used his ability to travel back in time in sometime and he hated that it would happen if they got stuck. However, he had to have faith that they would return to this era.
He looked at her facial expression. He wondered if she was hiding something. He wasn’t going to say anything. He couldn’t read minds and that was good. He would have gone crazy if he had that ability. Nevertheless, he gave Daphne a weak smile.
He watched her as she pleaded with her eyes. “Okay, let’s go” He said as he grabbed her hand. “Think of you running very, very, very fast” He said as he started to charge his ability. He had done this before, but for some reason he was worried. Worried about what. He didn’t know.
He closed his eyes for a minute and the next thing he knew they were in a corn field of some sort. He gazed around. “I think we aren’t in New Jersey anymore” He said a bit sarcastically as he removed his hand from Daphne and gazed around the corn field.
