To his surprise, the girl, Elle, seemed to think that he overheard them talking about abilities, now why would they talk about abilities? It just made Seth more suspicious of them then he already was, a slip up.
"So then Elle. What can you do? Fly maybe? Shoot lasers from your eyes?" He joked. These to girls looked to, normal to have abilities. Then the little one, Riley told him he doesn't lie very well, and stuck her tongue out. He laughed at her immaturity. "Neither do you"
Elle decided she wanted to leave, and started to walk past Seth. He saw it in slow motion, his speed making this happen, she was going to try and bump him as she walked past, he moved out of the way quickly, and turned around to grab Elle's arm.
"Your not going anywhere, Elle" He said to her. "Not until you explain.."

It was disappointing to be caught in a lie either way Elle was leaving. That was for a fact or so she thought. As Seth grabbed her arm she did something far to instinctive. Elle activated her ability in anger but what was far to shocking before that was that he seemed to do it so quickly. She knew of people with abilities and he could have one. But Elle wasn't the type to tell all on a first meeting.
Once he touched her and she felt that she wasn't going anywhere electricity flowed from her shoulder down to her fingers. Elle wondered how quick he could possibly be to dodge lightning. She then at the same moment tried to kick towards Seth when she turned around.

[Riley said that we could just post for a while until Riley has more to do]
Once again his abilities and speed allowed him to see everything in slow motion. As he touched her arm, he saw blue... blue... blue lightning? come from her arms, moving towards here hands. Quickly he let go before it got him, and moved to the other side of the room, running, just able to dodge Elle's kick at his legs as well.
The blue lightning left her hands and fired in the direction he just was in, luckily he was in the complete opposite direction now, and he escaped it. Luckily, as he did not want to be on the receiving end of that bolt, seeing the destruction it had made in the side of the bathroom wall.
"What the hell was that?" He said to her, staying to the other side of the room, making sure she didn't do it again, at least this far away he would have plenty of time to move, last time he barely made it out.
"Now, I told you before, give me some answers, I want to know what the hell is going on?!?" He was really shocked now, he had seen other abilities, but none like that. He calmed down to talk again. "Maybe we should leave here, and talk... somewhere else? There is a coffee shop down the end of this hall, we can discuss this?"
He felt they may have felt as if he was threatening, and decided to put a bit more.. back up into the fact that he wasn't trying to harm them, he wanted to help. "I'm not going to do anything.. I mean, I don't wanna hurt you or anything"

It was somewhat of a shock that he moved faster than she could see. But the fact he dodged both her kick and second lightning strike. It didn't matter though he saw what she could do, she saw what he could do. It was even in a way those weird ways that can't be explained. How can she possibly not agree to his terms.
She crossed her arms "Hmm..." she was thinking things over. Thinking over all the facts what she really wanted to do was talk to Riley. Then again she really wanted to not talk about her joining Pinehearst. That was a disturbing thing that they needed to talk about in private. Away from people with super hearing! That was just too wrong.
Walking over to Riley she sighed before biting her lower lip. "Riles...Your decision...as much as I hate the thought, the idea, the place..." Elle was getting ahead of herself. "But I trust you more than anyone. So...if...if you want to go there you can. Really not like I can stop you, your a Bishop girl after all." Giving her a peck on the forehead she turned to look at Seth.
"Now let us talk to Mr...Darkwater is it?" she said with an assured tone.

Elle seemed to turn and talk to the younger one, Riley, about matters that he didn't know about, but was guessing he would soon find out after Elle's change in... mood? When they were finished talking, Elle turned and suggested that they talk.
"Seth..." He said to them. "Call me Seth" Smiling. He still wasn't sure about these 2, maybe the younger one had some kind of mental ability and they was telling her sister to befriend him so they could take him out later. Of course, with Seth's ability, he would be able to tell before they got to him.
"After you, ladies" He said, motioning towards the door, walking upto and alongside Elle, who seemed to be in charge. As they walked out, he saw the line of ladies waiting around the area. "Ladies, we are going to have to temporarily close this toilet, please use the one on the upper level of the shopping center" He said to them, grinning at Riley as they walked off, believing him, so tempted to stick his tongue out at her.

Riley watched what would have been an interesting scene unfold. In fact, it was turning out to be a pretty interesting scene no matter how it played out. At least now Riley knew the dude had powers, too. Unfortunately, these powers were powers that Riley wouldn’t have thought the dude would have had. Riley just stood by silently while this Seth dude played her sister. Riley, on the inside, frowned. Elle was better than this dude, she could take him! No, scratch that, Elle could take the whole mall, and still have energy left over, considering what Riley said earlier that day.
And then Elle came over to her, which made Riley want to hit herself multiple times for doing such bad things to her sister. Elle had nearly wanted to kill her; that was how bad this decision was. Riley felt her stomach twist, and suddenly that throw up made her nauseous. She didn’t want to hurt Elle, she didn’t want to hurt anyone. If Elle would only listen to her instead of make accusations. And now this man was here ruining everything! Why wouldn’t he just shut up and leave them be? Elle would never know the exact truth as to why she had joined Pinehearst in the first place!
As Elle was explaining, Riley felt a tear drip from her eye to fall on the ground. She blinked hard, not wanting Elle to see her weakness. Then Elle kissed Riley on the forehead, and turned back to the dude. Riley hastily rubbed her eyes with her arm, not wanting to show her weakness, much less to some dude who looked like he was already wooing Elle over. Riley could tell she would probably dislike the dude for stealing Elle from her when she needed Elle the most.
When they exited the bathroom, Riley really realized that she didn’t like Seth. He was using her ploys against her, and that was just not fair. And the ladies actually believed him more than they believed Riley, which made her even madder. She crossed her arms and said under her breath, “Not fair. “ But she would give him no satisfaction. And she still had to talk to Elle. She would do so even if Seth was there, she’d make Seth embarrassed. “Payback.” She said, loud enough for Seth to hear, and wondered what he would think about that.

The obviousness that already Riley didn't like him was pretty shocking. Elle had gone from not liking him to.. not not liking him in a few minutes. Riley, obviously didn't like her sisters decision. Seth would have to work on this, especially since, already, he was attracted to Elle, and was planning on... slipping his number into the conversation, or asking her out some how.
By the look Riley was giving him, he assumed that she knew exactly what he was thinking, Riley knew what he was going to do! He was kinda nervous at the like Riley was giving him, but tried to just ignore it. As they left the bathroom, he heard Riley say something, something that sounded like 'payback'? He didn't understand what she meant by this, so she just ignored it.
When they arrived that the coffee shop, he directed them to a chair, asking them what they wanted before zooming to the line and getting it for them, speeding back, looking around and making sure nobody saw it. "Here you go" He said to them, handing them what they had ordered, sitting down.
He didn't know where to start, and thought about asking Riley if she had an ability first. She didn't exactly like him, and he doubted that she would answer him, but he had to find out, and he was sure he would be able to read the real answer from Elle's reaction anyway. "So Riley. What can you do?" He said, curiously, trying to be nice, not wanting her to feel... threatened, as he saw she did.

Riley couldn’t tell whether or not she still wanted to trust the man. But if Elle was following him, then Riley decided she would follow him, too. Besides, what harm could the dude do to her and Elle, considering her power? Riley grudgingly followed behind, feeling like the third wheel she was, that she had always been. Really, when Daddy was alive, Elle had always been his favorite. Now, when it was supposed to be Elle and Riley’s day, Riley was thrust to the back; adults needed their space, Riley had learned.
The girl sat in the seat Seth proffered, but sat with her arms crossed. When he asked what drink she would like, Riley frowned at him as if he were already supposed to know what drinks were her favorite. “Root beer.” She finally replied, furrowing her brows. She looked at Elle and asked, when he had gone, “Why do you really want to talk to him?” But then he was back, the damn speedster.
When Seth asked about her power, she snorted and took a drink of the rootbeer. She shot a look at Elle, but said nothing. She didn’t know if she wanted to tell him, if she wanted to trust him. Then she growled, “You already know one Bishop girls’ power. Isn’t that enough? And Elle, don’t tell him, keep him guessing.” Riley's tone had grown slightly pleading, and she hoped Elle would pick up on it. It was Riley’s first and only defense from this guy. If Seth knew what her power was, then he could surely conspire against her, take Elle from her, and whisk her sister away to a far off land that Riley didn’t want to think about. Riley loved Elle too much to see her go.

Elle was proud of her sister’s answer to Seth when he asked about her ability. “That is for us to know. And if we decide you to be a threat we will use it.” Elle almost made it sound like a weapon of mass destruction. But it all had the same take to it, it was a powerful ability. So it wasn’t a lie even if this guy could tell if and when they lie. She hated the fact her was a speedster and probably had enhanced hearing.
That meant the sisters couldn’t talk about him. Speaking of sisters this was supposed to be their day. And it will be, leaning across the table Elle smiled at Riley. “So how is the ‘School’ is everyone nice, treating you well?” she made it completely obvious that she was planning to ignore Seth by blocking him out the conversation.
Elle had many qualities and acting was one of her best one. Acting from different roles for her job of being an agent. So this was just easy for her to do at the moment. Lucky for her this was actually a topic she wanted to talk about. And hopefully he wouldn’t interrupt. Then she turned to look at him, "Why are you still here?" her voice cold and direct.

Riley was relieved when Elle continued on with her plan of blocking the dude out. And she was surprised even, when Elle completely blocked the guy out of the conversation. But, where she had liked the conversation before—nothing—now Elle was talking about school. Riley rolled her eyes,
“School is boring.” Riley said, looking only at Elle, not at Seth. “Even if it’s a new school, and everyone’s ‘smart’ like me, it’s still boring. I liked it more when I stood out.” She sighed and sipped her drink. Of course Elle wouldn’t send her back to normal school.
It was good, though, that they were no longer talking about Pinehearst and Gabriel. If Riley would have even touched on the subject, she was sure Elle would have gone off on another fit, and Riley didn’t want that. No, it wasn’t because of Seth; it was because Riley just didn’t want something like that happening. And then Riley just had to grin when Elle asked why Seth was still here. Yep, still her sister.

Elle was making it clearly obvious that he wasn't wanted, so Seth wasn't exactly sure what he was doing when he started to write his number, and a little note on the back of one of his business cards.
As Elle turned around, asking him why he was still there, he saw a look in her eye. Something saying, 'I don't exactly want you to go, but i have to protect myself, and my sister'. He didn't quite understand what he thought he saw, after all, he had tried to let them know that he wasn't a threat.
He stood up. "I'll leave then" He said, pushing the chair back. He grabbed the card, and threw it to the table. "Call me" He said, winking at Elle. He started to run, hitting supersonic speed, out of view of people, and getting away from the shopping mall.
He remembered what he wrote on the note as he ran away.
Elle, this is just the beginning, of something... big. We have to talk, give me a call. Your sister obviously dislikes me, but I can see you want to learn more. And he left it with that.
Stupid, Seth! Stupid! He couldn't believe he left with THAT!

"Well school is always boring. My school was bor--" she was trying to remember what her school was like. But she couldn't. Wow how different was Riley's and Elle's life? And yet they were born the same...this was just far to weird for her to understand. So weird and headaching that she had to lean her head down on her hand. As Seth left she blinked a couple of times before picking up the business card.
Reading she sighed, "Well...he might become useful for something...Eventually." Elle said looking back at her sister. "Anyway what should we do now? You want to continue shopping?"

Riley watched as that Seth dude threw down his card and zoomed away. Seriously, he was too fast for her liking. Riley watched Elle uncertainly, wondering if this short encounter with the dude had melted Elle's heart, even if she already had a boyfriend. Did she still have that boyfriend? Riley wasn't keeping tabs anymore. Either way, Riley studied her sister's face. She noticed when Elle faltered while remembering her school life, and felt sorry for her older sister. Was Elle really so bad off? Was it Riley's fault?
Then Riley saw the change. Elle picked up the card, and read it. Riley could only imagine what it said: You're hot, I wanna date you. Thanks for talking to me--a dumb dude--give me a call. Riley got a silent laugh out of that. But her face turned into a sour frown when Elle decided that sometime soon, probably, she'd call the guy back.
Riley scowled, and stood from the table. "Elle, I needed to tell you about Pinehearst and Primatech." She said, and placed a hand on the table, fingers spread out wide. She couldn't meet her sister's eyes. She didn't want Elle to get into another electrical fit. "Elle, I didn't join Pinehearst just to join! I joined it to make sure Gabriel wouldn't do anything wrong. So far it's been working, I promise you. But I haven't gone bad, Elle, promise!" Now she met her sister's eyes. "Can we go home?"
