Niki was feeling much better now, having got over her morning sickness which had lasted longer than when she was pregnant with Micah, and she couldn't figure out why until she had her first scan. She was expecting twins, so naturally the morning sickness lasted longer because of this.
Today however, she was feeling much better and she found she was able to return to the school and get back to business. She had heard a rumour that there were a lot more villains out there now and Niki wanted to make sure the school and the kids were going to be protected from them.
She decided to call an assembly this morning, to let them all be aware of it, and see if they understood and also if they had any suggestions on how to protect the school. She knew Micah had been seeing a lot of Molly, and from what she could tell they were making some sort of junior super hero team.
Most teachers would probably have scoffed at the idea, but Niki thought it was a brilliant idea, the kids needed to be on their guard about these things. Hopefully this assembly she had called would help to do just that.
"Good morning everybody" she began, greeting all the students with a warm smile. "I've called this assembly this morning, because I believe there are villains growing stronger among us, and I think it is essential you know how to protect yourselves" Niki continued, "So, have any of you thought about it? And if so, do you have any suggestions or ideas you would like to bring forward" she finished, looking from Micah to Molly and then swerving her eyes around all the other kids with a warm smile.

Molly had sat down on the steps for the assembly. She was glad they got out of class for this because she had a math test she wasn’t ready for. She was happy to see Niki back at school since she was her favorite teacher even before dating Micah. She was going to raise her hand asking to speak about there team but she wanted to make sure Micah and everyone else was ok with it. Looking at the team then smiling she rose her hand. “Mrs. Sands.”

Stephen sat next to the the team, wondering if he should tell them about the plane crash he had drawn. He wasn't sure if they would be able to help him, seeing as they didn't all have abilities that would help in a fight. Elli was one of the only ones that could use his ability offensively but it might not be good to use it in an inclosed space. Stephen decided that he would tell them about it if they had nothing to do.
Stephen noticed that Molly seemed to be about to tell Mrs. Sands about the team, hopefully they might get new members that would be able to help Stephen with stopping the plane from crashing.

Rebekah had heard that Mrs Sands was calling a special assembly for all the students to attend. From what she had heard it was something to do with the rise of the villains and helping to fight against them. With Rebekah already discussing the idea of a team among the students, she was eager to hear what Mrs Sands had to say on the subject.
There were a few students there, but only Molly and Stephen were the ones she recognised. She smiled across to them both as she listened to Mrs Sands speak, and then Molly answering.
It looked like Molly was about to tell Mrs Sands about the team they had been discussing. So there was no point in repeating what Molly was going to say. Instead she turned to Stephen with a smile, "Do you think Mrs Sands will be okay with what we had been planning?" she asked him. Rebekah might have been the oldest out of the students who had discussed the team, but even Rebekah had slight reservations about it.

As Niki looked around the students to see if anybody had any suggestions she noticed Molly raising her hand and saying Niki's name. Well at least her married name anyway. Niki smiled at her. In a way Molly was like another child to her, as she and Micah spent so much time together.
"Yes Molly, do you have something to suggest, I know you and Micah have been discussing a lot of things" Niki prompted giving the young girl another glowing smile.
Not many of the other kids seemed to have anything to say or suggest however, so Niki just sat back in her chair and waited for Molly to tell her what was on her mind. She hadn't snooped on Molly and Micah at all, but she knew they were always discussing something, it wouldn't surprise her if they were planning something which might be useful to the rest of the kids.

Niki’s statement made Molly blush and eye Micah before she looked back to Niki. “Micah and I and some other students are making a group.” She looked around at the other students who she didn’t know hoping they wouldn’t start laughing at her. “ We want to stop villains like you and the other teachers do.”
She hoped that more students would join or even the teachers wouldn’t break up the group. “The world is becoming a very scary place.” She thought about Peter’s drawing of the future not sure what it all meant. “We need to learn how to defend ourselves because we are the future.” She smiled looking down at her shoes and mumbled. “The future looks darker then before.”

Stephen turned to Rebekah as she asked him if he thought Mrs. Sands would let them continue with their group. How was Stephen supposed to know, this was the first teacher he had seen since he had arrived. He didn't know anything about the policies of the school or anything like that.
"I guess, I mean, a few of us have some powerful abilities, why not use them to help people? Me for example, I get all of these abilities everyday, and I'm getting better at using them. I could probably stop a bank robery single handedly if I had the right abilities, so why should I wait until I'm older to do that?" Stephen said.
Stephen turned his attention to Molly as she began to tell everyone about how the world was getting worse and the future would be very dark. how did she know that? Did she find the pictures he had drawn or something? Stephen would have to ask her about that later.

When Rebekah asked Stephen if he thought Niki would allow them to keep the group, he had said he guessed. It was true though, a lot of them did have powerful abilities and it seemed silly not to put them to good use. "Yeah, you're right, I'd like to do something about it, I've been attacked enough in the past to know that I don't want anybody else to go through it" she said to him giving him a weak smile.
Rebekah listened to Molly speak to Niki about the group they had been discussing a few days ago. She really did hope Niki would be okay with it, or all their talk would have been in vain, which would be a shame, seeing as Molly and Micah were so into the idea of the super hero group.
Rebekah decided to back up what Molly was saying, "Yeah, I've been discussing the group with Molly and Micah as well as a few others, and I think it would be a good idea to be honest" Rebekah said to Niki.

Niki listened carefully to Molly as she spoke of her and Micah discussing making a group, and that they want to help stop the villains just like the adults do. Niki would normally have thought it a very bad idea for kids to get involved with such dangerous tasks, but she knew things were getting bad, and the kids needed to know how to defend and look after themselves.
Molly then went on to say that the world was becoming a very dark place, and Niki couldn't deny that. She also added that they were the future, and again she couldn't deny it, and that they future looked darker than ever before.
"Well, I think it's a very good idea Molly, you're right, you are the future, children are the future, it's a very dangerous world out there, but you do need to defend yourself" Niki said comfortingly, and then Rebekah spoke that she too knew of the group.
"It is a good idea Rebekah, and I think one of the days at the school should now be set aside for your group discussion and ability practice" Niki said giving them all a warm smile. Then she looked specifically to Molly, "How do you feel about that? Micah?" she asked, because so far he had remained very quiet.

Micah looked up, nodding. “It’s a good idea we had.” He began. “There shouldn’t be any reason why we can’t start to fight now instead of having to wait until we are older. If we can help why shouldn’t we be allowed to?” That was the basic idea of what he had hoped to achieve with the group. “We should have a day for working it out; though I think we would need a few weeks to start to plan it first though.”
He put his hand into his pocket, touching his phone, and using his power on it. He sent a text to Molly, using his ability to get into her phone and turn it onto silent mode. Should we really be having the team so open? He wanted to know what she thought about it, but didn’t want to make it seem like he didn’t want everyone to help out. Sometimes maybe it was best to have less people, the more they had – the more chance there was of someone turning against them.

Molly smiled feeling like she accomplished something just by stating her opinion. She only hoped that Micah would bring it home convincing his mom that they could do this without dying. She really wanted to be out there in the action but then again she wasn’t ready to be out there without any training. She looked at Micah waiting for him to reply.
She then felt vibrating on her thigh reaching in her pocket seeing that her phone had been turned on and set to silent. She eyed Micah giving him a look that said she was surprised by his action since he didn’t let her cheat on her Math tests using his power to let them text. She typed on her phone moving the pink buttery fly cell out of Niki’s eye view. Probably not but she is YOUR mom! Tell her about it.Molly rolled her eyes at him as she tried to act like she was listening.

Stephen didn't stand up and say anything. like Molly or Rebekah, he didn't feel there was anything to add, he decided it would be best to save the plane alone because he didn't want to many people involved so he wouldn't bring that up.
Stephen believed they would be allowed to keep the team, seeing as Mrs. Sands was agreeing with everything Molly said. Stephen wondered how many people would try and join their team now, he didn't want the group to be to large though, it would be harder for Micah to coordinate the team.
Stephen continued to stay silent as Micah began to talk, again because he felt there was nothing for him to add.

None of the other kids really said anything to Rebekah about the team, but she had a feeling they weren't so keen in too many people getting involved with it. There was already herself, Molly, Stephen, Micah and Elli, they probably didn't need many more, but having time to discuss things and practice and try to work out what their abilities could achieve when under pressure was a good idea to Rebekah though.
"I'm glad you think it's a good Niki" Rebekah began, "But I think they were kind of looking at just being a select few, namely just ourselves" Rebekah said, as she looked around Micah, Molly, Stephen and Elli.
Of course only Micah was really talking back now, probably because Niki was his mom, so there wasn't much else Rebekah could really add in at this point, so she just sat back and waited to see what would come of the conversation now.

Niki listened carefully as her son Micah went on about fighting and not having to wait until they were older. Niki actually found herself agreeing. After all, kids were far more vulnerable in the world now, a world which was getting more and more full of villains. Niki wanted her son to be able to defend himself, and she wanted the kids of this school to be able to do the same thing.
"I agree, it's a fantastic idea and you should be able to fight, I don't see any reason that you have to wait until you're older, there are a lot of bad people out there, you have to defend yourselves."
As Niki finished the little speech, she looked around them all, smiling, so that they all knew what she said was the truth. Micah then mentioned about needing a day to work it all out and time to plan it, which Niki agreed with also.
Rebekah had also mentioned something about it only being a select few, namely themselves. "Oh I see" Niki replied, and then looked toward Micah to continue what she was saying.
"Of course, well you can use the day I set aside for it, is it just yourselves who are in the group?" Niki asked as she looked around the front row of kids which consisted of Stephen, Elli, Rebekah, Molly and of course Micah. "Because while the other kids do the normal activity on the third day, you guys could work on your team" Niki continued.

Micah was glad that it wasn’t him who ended up having to say that they would much rather have less people in their team. He hadn’t wanted to appear to not want anyone else in the team. The text from Molly came back, it really didn’t matter anymore, now that Rebekah had said the only problem that he had thought of with telling everyone about their team.
Then they got offered the third day of school specifically for their team. This was good. It meant they wouldn’t have to have masses of meetings at lunchtimes and stuff like that, and now they could just work everything out on one day. “Yeah.” He said, “That would be good, wouldn’t it?” He looked round at everyone else for support.
