Rayne sighed to herself. She knew that copes were going to be after her soon. It wasn't her fault that they didn't have a sense of humor. She looked down at her hands blood slowly dripping down her fingers. She had woken up that morning in need of something fun to do. So she decided that she would walk around the city and see what trouble she could get into. Leaving her apartment she took a deep sigh and let it out slowly. Walking down the street she didn't noticed the person running into her.

She glared up at the man who bumped into her. Not wanting to listening to his apologize. She phased her hand though his stomach not wanting to kill him instantly but at least cause some damage. Quickly having her hand leave his body she watched him fall to the ground. His blood soaking her fingers she laughed and shook her hands off of the excess blood. not noticing if anyone was behind her.

David was on the rampage for some trouble. He hadn't been able to terrorise anybody for quite some time. The last time he had some fun was with that stupid young girl in California what ever her name was, some stupid phasing ability she had. He could have had her killed that night if it hadn't been for those other stupid kids who turned up on the scene.

Now he was in New York looking for the same sort of innocent young girls to terrorise. However, he wasn't particularly looking where he was going as he walked with his head hung low and then suddenly bumped into somebody. "Sorry mate" he muttered in his strong Londoner accent. He looked up and realised it was a pretty young brunette.

He was about to compliment her when the pretty thing phased her hand into his stomach, the pain was unbelievable. "Bloody 'ell bitch, what was that for" he shouted as he shook his head, and wondered how he was going to get this one fixed.

Then he closed his eyes as he wished that a doctor or nurse would come along and have the right equipment to fix him. A few moments later an ambulance pulled up and a paramedic stepped out, and within a few minutes he was stitched up without even being asked a question and then they were on their way just as quickly as they had arrived.

"That's what I call luck" he said, as he stood up off the ground and pushed her and pinned her up against the wall of the street they were on, staring into her eyes, face mere inches away from hers. "Now that wasn't a very nice thing to do when you don't even know me" he said in a cold voice as he kept his death grip around her neck pinning her to the wall.

Rayne looked him in the eyes as he spoke not really listening to him. She shook her head when heard an ambulance pull up. But thankfully no one asked her questions she was about to leave when she felt her body being slammed into a wall. It was the man who she just put a hand though. She took a deep breathe and looked him in the eyes. He was very sexy she couldn't deny that he had eyes that could look into her soul and that somewhat scared her. She felt her legs slowly kicking underneath her trying to escape his grip. Her hand clawing at his forearm holding her in her place.

" How are you still alive. I didn't think anyone could survive that. And I'm not the nicest person. I just wanted to have some fun. I'm.... Sorry " Rayne then realized that she could just phase her body away from him. But she wanted to see how things would play out. She knew that if it got to much of a situation she would phase and leave. She licked her lips and took a small shaky breathe. " Do you treat all woman you first meet like this. I thought the rough kinky sex was after the second date or so. "

Rayne wouldn't mind talking to him some more if he would just lessen the grip on her neck. She would have to see how everything plays out.

David continued to hold his grip around the girl's neck tightly, and felt her legs beginning to kick around underneath, which meant he must have been causing her some sort of discomfort, which pleased him somewhat. A slow smile began to spread across his face, as he continued to stare into her eyes. They were definitely very gorgeous eyes.

His slow smile turned into a sadistic laugh when she asked how he had survived what she had done. "Guess I'm tougher than I bloody well look" he replied, however she did say sorry, so David loosened his grip on her somewhat, but still kept his hand firmly in place.

When she asked if he treated all women he first met like that, he sort of shrugged without saying anything, then she said she thought rough kinky sex was for the second date, this made David laugh again a little and then turned it into another slow sexy smile.

"Well well, really?" he said as he leaned even closer into her face, and finally removed his hand from around her neck, as he breathed deeply and began to lean in toward her ear, "Maybe I'm a quick mover, maybe I'm a fuck at first sight type of guy" he whispered into her ear allowing his hot breath to blow into it, before bringing his face back round to meet her.

"Tell me, what's a pretty thing like you doing out all by herself anyway?" he asked, as he lifted up both his arms and put them at either side of her head, not exactly pinning in her place as he had before, but just so he could keep her near to him.

Rayne closed her eyes and shivered slightly. A soft quite moan escaping her lips. She looked at David closer. She couldn't help but licking her lips to her he was sex on legs and she would love to have a piece of that. She laughed softly at his comment about a quick fuck. " Yeah I enjoy those as well. I guess I just love to fuck. To put in bluntly." She didn't see a point to lie to him about that. He seemed the type of guy to like that as well. She let out a small breathe when he removed his hands fully from her neck. Watching as he placed his arms beside her head. " Well I am just looking for a good time. She apoligzed and that was as much as he was going to get from her on the subject. Rayne looked up at the man that had her against a wall. She couldn't help but want to know more about him.

" So does sexy stranger have a name. Or do I just call you Rough sex guy. Cause if that is the case I just might have to see if you hold true to the name." Rayne knew she was being forward but she was also kidding as well. If the guy didn't get her jokes then he wasn't worth her time. But from the looks of it. He seemed like a guy who was willing to have a good time.

David watched with his head tilted to the side as the girl shivered and a moan escaped her lips. She was being turned on, of that much he was certain and this made him smile sexily, she wanted it, he could tell. When she replied to him about his fuck at first sight remark he liked what he heard, he licked his lips slightly.

"A girl after my own heart" he said as he let out a slow sigh followed by a whistle. Wasn't it just brilliant he managed to meet this perfect girl tonight. Normally he would have been looking for young vulnerable girls to mess about with and tease, but he decided tonight would be different.

David smirked at her answer when he asked what she was doing out by herself, turns out she was looking for a good time and seeing what fun came her way. "However you can call me anything you like, and I'd be quite willing to live up to the name if you were to give me a chance" he said as he leaned in closer again and moved his hands from the wall and put them on either side of her face bringing it toward his and then kissed her with a slight wild passion as he pressed against her pining her to the wall with the weight of his own body.

Rayne felt her breathe hitch when he pressed his body closer to hers. She felt her skin become sightly warmer with the contact. She was getting turned on there was no use denying that fact. She couldn't help but agree with her bodies desire. " Well I guess it is lucky that you found me then isn't it." She let her body shiver in need. David couldn't help but chuckle at her statement about it being lucky he found her. Oh he was lucky alright, funny how he didn't use his power to get this girl though, it had all happened naturally. "You might take me up on the offer?" he asked in a silky voice, only might he repeated to himself, maybe he wasn't quite as lucky by nature as he thought if he she only might take him up on his offer. But he continued to stare into her eyes, and smile at her in a sexy manner.

After lifting her up to carry her to his apartment, she said something about him being excited. Oh he was excited alright, but at what part he wasn't quite sure yet. Whether it was excitement over finding a pretty girl with as much anger issues as he had, or because he had her in his apartment, he wasn't quite sure, or if it was because she was as much a tease as he was, but what ever it was he bloody well liked it.

"Excited? I guess you could say that love, not every day a man like me meets a gal like you" he said as he winked at her and smacked his lips together slightly and then inhaled deeply a few times to try and calm himself down, because something was getting a little more excited than he was right at this minute.

"A drink it is then" he said, as he went and opened himself a can of Guinness, "and what would you like you like love?" he asked in his typical London accent, he wasn't so desperate he couldn't hold out long enough for them to have a drink, he might have classed himself a fuck at first sight kind of guy, but that didn't mean doing it the minute they got into his apartment, oh no, even he was better than that.

Rayne was running her hands down his neck, and it was making him shiver ever so slightly, but while they were having a drink, he decided to grab her hands with his own and hold them away from his neck for the time being, "Well right now love, all I desire is some company, and right now you seem the perfect choice" he said smoothly, maybe he did want more, but right now he wasn't sure what that more was, and he didn't want to go into that answer anymore right at that point.

The next thing he knew she had bitten into his neck and began sucking on it slowly, the sensation was causing shock waves to his system, but he still wasn't ready for anything further, but he gave off another little moan, however, when she spoke, he pulled himself away from her, "Bloody hell love, I know I said I was a fuck at first sigh type of guy, but even I ain't that low, take it slow, no need to rush it quite so fast now, is there?" he asked, as he kept a hold of her hands in his own as if to try and calm her down somewhat.

Rayne took a breathe feeling her heart pound in her chest. She liked the feeling of having her hands in David's. True they didn't need to rush she must have missed physical connection with a male more then she cared to admit. " Your absolutely right. Why should we rush such a good thing when all we have is time." She gently slid her hand out of David's missing the contact of his warmth but she figured maybe slowing down her heart rate and lust might be a wise idea. She didn't want to scare David way she rather like the guy. She leaned her back against the cool wall. She looked back at David licking her lips.

" Thank you for the compliment. Your rather good company as well haven't had it in quite awhile. And what better way to spend my time then a man as attractive as you." Rayne didn't know what made her want to jump David's body like that. True he was very sexy but that didn't explain her sudden urge to fuck him. Maybe she felt a deeper connection with him then she understood. She gave him a wink slowly drinking the beer David offered her. She liked Guinness probably one of the only beers she could stand to drink. Taking a gulp she let out sigh. " So what brings a sexy man like you all the way out to New York."

She could tell by his accent that he was English. She always liked a man who had a British accent it made them much more appealing. She walked over to David and touched his cheek gently her hands trailing across his cheek. " You have the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen David. There so powerful I feel like you can see right though me." Rayne wasn't trying to sound mushy or desperate by any means. They both knew that if she wanted to she could leave and never look back. Although she would be saddened if she left because she felt very drawn to David.

Rayne was happy that they weren't fucking yet. Even though how they met was her running her hand though his stomach. She was happy that she had met him. True if it was any other person she would have just walked away and not cared. It was in her nature to care about people. But maybe because he fought back that she felt a stronger connection to him. She wanted to know more about this man and what made her able to survive having a hand run though him. Taking a drink he choked slightly realization dawning on her.

She wiped her mouth. " How are you not freaked out by me running my hand though your stomach. It isn't just luck that allowed you to survive is it." Grinning at him slowly there had to be something special about him. Normal people wouldn't brush it off and take them to her room. Not that it mattered to her either way. She was here now and that was all that she cared about.

David felt a little more at ease when she backed off, he hadn't meant to sound so snappish about it, but David might not be the nicest bloke in the world, but he liked to think even he had some morals. For all his flirting and big talk, this night was not going to end with them in bed together, he was going to make sure of that. In a way he was slightly freaked by her, and he wanted to make sure he knew enough about her before he made any long term plans with or without her in his life.

"Of course I'm right love" he said as he sighed, thankful for a little release, it was actually quite scary to David just how much she wanted it, he would have to be more careful about how he acted around women from now on, and more careful what he said to certain women. He didn't want a woman to get the wrong idea about him again.

What brought him to New York. He knew what brought him to New York and as he thought about it, the horrible memories coming flooding back, his eyes grew dark and his cheek bones intense as he began grinding down on his teeth. It wasn't something he liked to speak about and when he did end up speaking about it, he usually got very angry.

"I'd rather not say, if you don't mind" he said his voice firm and deep and angry, eyes so dark they could have been black. He could feel the can in his hand beginning to buckle under his grip as his hand clenched into a fist, the can split into two, and sliced through his hand, and the Guinness fell onto the floor. "Fuck it" he shouted, "Bloody wanker" he added, and then he turned round to Rayne, almost as if he had fire in his eyes.

He looked at his hand which was pouring with blood, well no luck manipulation would do him any good now, not as if he could wish his hand to suddenly heal, that kind of manipulation didn't work. He stormed into the kitchen, ran his hand under the cold tap and then rummaged through the kitchen cupboards until he found a first aid kit and wrapped a bandage around it. He would probably have to end up going to hospital with it, the blood wasn't taking too long to soak through.

Of course Rayne touched his cheek saying he has the most beautiful eyes she'd seen, but David was so angry now, that he couldn't be bothered with it. "Sorry love, I've suddenly lost the urge" he said in an angry voice, as he pushed her hand away from his cheek.

Now she was asking him why he had survived what she had did to him, it wasn't just luck was it. He chewed on the inside of his cheek for a second or two and then began to laugh, a sadistic evil laugh. "I guess you could say it was luck" he said, as he began to wonder what he could do to try and show off his ability in front of her.

To himself he thought 'I wish she would choke on her drink' and then he watched with his head tilted to the side, just like the day he did when he wished his uncle dead, and watched, as she would inevitably start to choke. Then he stared into her eyes, and shifted his gaze, before licking his lips with an evil glare, "Don't worry love, works both ways" he said and then took a deep breath, 'I wish her to stop choking' he thought as he watched with his head tilted again to see the choking subside and her turn to normal.

Rayne watched as she asked her question David became angry. She had no idea what was wrong with him things seemed to be going so well. She saw his eyes slowly grow black. His glassed shattered in his hands. She wanted to offer to help him but she thought it might be wise for her to just let him deal with it on his own.

She laughed when he said he was right, " arrogant much." Rayne was starting to get pissed. As much as he was sexy and seemed like he could be fun. Having him fly off the handle like this wasn't what she had in store.She didn't mean to make him so upset though. " I'm sorry David I didn't mean for that to set you off like that." Rayne hoped they could try to fix how this evening was going. She didn't want to leave quite yet but if David asked it of her should would go.

She stepped back as he batted her hand away. Growing angry she realized that she choked on her drink again. She then stopped suddenly as well. She clenched her hands into fists she wanted to phase though him ans ripe his heart out. That might be a little extreme but she couldn't help but being pissed off at him. She grinned as he way his evil grin though. " So I'm not the only one with a gift then. Interesting gift you have there though." Rayne grabbed another beer and took a strong drink.

Rayne didn't know what to do at the moment. She could tell David was still pissed. But since she said he wasn't in the mood anymore what the hell should they do now. But Rayne didn't like being made a fool of or turned down so she would have to make David pay for that. She walked back over to David placing her foot on top of his left thigh. " So if you don't have the urge anymore. Then what the fuck do you want to do. I can see the anger in your eyes. If you want to fight. I can take spar with you I have been trained in martial arts. If you want to fuck more power to you."

Rayne stepped back away from David again.She didn't want to leave true she did come on a little to strong and probably scared him. She would need to try to fix that mishap before she left for the night. She looked up at David hesitation in her eyes. " David listen I am sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to come on that strong I'm normally not like that at all. ." Rayne apologized she didn't know what else to do now. Removing her foot from David she stepped back rolling her shoulders grinning at David bending her body in fighting position. " I say we work out some of this aggression were feeling. "

David was so angry at the moment, he could feel tears burning at the back of his eyes, but he wasn't about to cry in front of a woman, he'd never done it before and he wasn't about to bloody well do it now. He had obviously upset her by his sudden change of attitude which just made him all the more mad.

"Yeah, well I'm a fucking wanker and evil bastard, so what do you expect?" he retaliated when she said about him being arrogant much. However she apologised for getting him upset, and suddenly the fire from within him toned down a little, after all she didn't know the reason why he moved to New York, so really he shouldn't have lost it with her in the way he did. But David, being David wasn't about to let it go quite so easy.

"Whatever love" he muttered when he replied to her apology, he had calmed down a little, but he was still a bit pissed off about having got wound up in the first place, only now he was more pissed off at himself than he was Rayne.

She then mentioned that he had an interesting ability. So they were both specials, and by the way she had just attacked him earlier without knowing who he was, then he had to assume they were both evil bastards as well. Which was good in David's opinion, it meant that he could get himself a side kick, they could have fun together, Rayne and he.

"Yeah, I guess it is interesting love, then again, you're is a pretty interesting ability, even if it is bloody dangerous" he said with a bit of a sadistic laugh. His hand was still aching from the can slicing through his hand earlier, and the blood had soaked through the bandage he had put on. He stormed off into the kitchen again and rummaged, until he found some butterfly stitches, put about five in place of the gash and bandaged his hand again, that would have to do he thought, he wasn't going to no bloody hospital now.

There was still anger in his eyes, but it wasn't anger at Rayne, it was anger at allowing himself to get so upset over her question, and when she said in an angry and sour voice about what did he want, and commented on the angry eyes, he sighed, he was just about to tell her what was on his mind and what got him so angry when she just suddenly attacked him. Well not attacked him per say, but she had her foot on his thigh and began speaking about martial arts. He didn't answer her the whole time she snapped at him, because he was scared he would snap himself again.

Once she removed her foot from his thigh and apologised to him again, he turned to face her, face not as angry as it was before, but sad. "Alright love, apology accepted and I'm sorry too, want to know what the deal is?" he said as he sat down on the sofa with his head in his hands. He took a deep sigh, and wondered if he'd be able to keep his composure when speaking about it.

"I was brought up in a loving and caring family, but my parents died when I was eight, I was shipped off to live with my uncle. He was a mean man, seldom gave me meals or new clothes. When I did something my uncle didn't like, even if it was just a typical child thing to do, he would lock me in a cupboard under the stairs" he stopped for a breath, as he closed his eyes talking about it, bringing it all back, was very difficult for David, and he already had to bite back the tears. Coughing to clear his throat to continue, as there was a huge knot in it now.

"When I got older, he started to physically abuse me, I tried to fight back, but I was often left battered and bruised. One day, as he was hitting me, I just wished to myself that he was dead, and after hitting me again, he clutched his heart, and I watched on as he fell to the ground and died of a heart attack. I actually enjoyed watching him die, and that's what made me the way I am today" he gulped, he had managed to tell the story, but he couldn't keep back the emotion any longer and he began to cry.

Cry for the parents he lost as a child, because he knew he'd be a different man if they were still alive today. However, they weren't and David would never change now, but still, the memory of the past just hit him. He sat there as he sobbed like a baby for the first time in a long, long time.

Rayne gave him a small smile. She liked that he was still able to joke around with her after being so angry. She set her glass down on the floor and slowly walked back over to David. She was hesitant about walking over to him again but she didn't it would hurt to much. " Yes I would like to know. Thank you for telling me."

Rayne watched David closely as he started telling his story. She felt sadness creep though her body. She hadn't heard a story this sad in awhile. She wanted to say something but she didn't know if words would help the situation at all. So she nodded her head slightly when he told his story. After he finished his story she noticed him starting to cry. She stood up and wrapped her arms around him gently She didn't want anything in return she wanted to let him know that she was here. If anything she just wanted to hold him to let him know that he isn't alone that she is here if she needs him.

Rayne slowly stood and wiped her eyes. Hearing David's story started reminding her of her past. She hadn't thought about it in awhile she started wondering how her sister was doing. She looked back at her drink and grabbed it finishing her drink quickly she went to the window and phased her empty glass though the window. She looked back at David. Tears slowly filled her eyes. " I'll pay for the glass I broke. Now it's my time to explain why I just did that. I know what it feels like to be hurt by your parents. And then hurting them when you don't you have another choice. Because you feel so angry with yourself and the situation."

Rayne clenched her fists anger and sadness going though her veins. " My mom died giving birth to my younger sister. Thankfully my sister lived. My dad didn't think of it that way and grew to hate m sister and myself. So while he was out drinking his life away my sister and I stayed homed to cook and clean. And of course he brought different woman home every night. When I was 6 my father hit my little sister. I grew so angry I decided to take martial arts classes to be able to defend myself and her. " Rayne shook her hands slowly and rolled her shoulders. Trying not to let her emotions rule her though telling the story.

" When I was 12 my so called father was drunk and tried to sneak into my sister's room. I pushed him away and then he struck me. I grew so angry I phased my hand though his chest and stopped his heart. I took his body about back and burned it. Later I tested out my powers more and one day my sister say me and ran away. I haven't since her since. So David you aren't alone we all have things in our lives that we would rather have never dealt with or have happen." Rayne walked back over to David and kissed his forehead. She felt tears slowly run down her face.

She stepped back from David and wiped her tears from her face quickly. Rayne hated to show herself crying it made her feel weak and vulnerable. She laughed and shook her head slowly. " So David please tell me you have something stronger to drink then just beer. Because I think both of us could use something stronger." Rayne looked up at David. She waited to hear his response she didn't know how he was going to react now.
