May 16th
Reefer Sullivan sat in his black SUV looking down to his angel tattoo that ran down his lower inner arm right to where they drew blood. His body was shaking with the withdrew from heroin that he had to do if he wanted to get his new shipment over the border. As sweat dripped down his face Reef looked to his back seat seeing the five suitcases full of a new found drug that supposedly gave people powers. He wasn’t sure if the drug was for real or not but he knew people out there would be willing to pay big bucks to find out.
Reef had gotten his shipment from his friends down in Mexico who had bought it from some Russians. He knew that Ramon and Hector Alasdair were reliable friends and wouldn’t set him up because in the past they had tried and he killed their mother. His hands started to shake as he turned the car off now he was back in California waiting for some of his contacts’ buyers came to meet him. He undid his seatbelt grabbing the rubber band tying it to his arm before he got out his needle and vial of his own joy.
Pushing the needle into his skin he sighed in relief maybe in pain from what he all did to his body in his years. After his fix got to work he looked around before wiping his face off in an old t-shirt before he rolled the window down placing on his sun glasses so no cops would see it was really him.
Reef’s reputation was very hard and high up in the drug business all over the place. The cops never caught up with him yet and he wasn’t planning on making them ever find him. All he wanted was his family to be safe which they were or so he heard from his contacts. Damn he had a lot of contacts in every market he could think of. Now he needed buyers for his new drug then he would be off to the Islands well that’s what he was going to tell anyone that ask because the one thing he learned out of all of this was that you should never tell anyone where you are really going to lay low.

Jake had no idea why his last try at getting into his old business building fell through, but it did. Why did he trust outsiders anymore. All he could count on where friends, but he had none left, so he was on his own. Though lucky for Jake, a couple of days ago, he heard from a new source that there was money and great happiness in drugs. Jake had never touched th stuff, even though he had been tempted a few times when he used to take girls out to night clubs. They would take some, but he always refused.
But hearing that this drug gave you powers or something, made Jake's ears prick up. Maybe this was his big break for him breaking in finally into his old business building. As Jake got into his car, he retrieved the piece of paper which held the location of where he was to meet this Reefer person. He didn't know a whole lot about this guy, but he did hear a bit about this drug, and he knew he wanted some.
As Jake drove, he thought about what he would do with a power. Jake hoped that it would be like strength, or speed, in order to get in and out of his old building, to get what he wanted. That was his last thought before he came to the place to meet, and Jake saw the SUV parked on the side of the road. Jake pulled in, and brought his car to a stop. He checked to make sure that he had the right cash to pay this guy, but wouldn't take the stuff until he was sure it was okay.
As Jake got out, he noticed that the SUV's window was wound down, and a guy wearing sunglasses was sitting in the driver's seat. Jake slowly walked up to him, and smiled. "Hey, how are ya? Names Jake, and I am here to look at something you might have for sale."

Reefer watched as a car pulled into the small area he had arranged to be empty along the road. His hand moved to his gun waiting to see who stepped out of the car. He looked at the man as he said his name was Jake, like he really wanted to know his name, He nodded. “Reef.” He pulled out a small camera taking a picture of Jake. “For insurance.” The camera was linked to his laptop that scanned each picture to make sure he wasn’t a cop. Reefer looked at his screen and saw Jake was clean. “Your good.” He looked over at him as he stepped out of his car feeling like he needed to since he had been sitting for hours.
“Sure you are.” He walked to the back car down eyeing Jake again. “I suspect you have enough money for this product if not I’ll have to kill you.” He chuckles as he opened the back door pulling out one suit case before shutting the door and heading to the hood of the car. He set the case down opening it for Jake to see. “Take a look. Its one-hundred percent real and effective.” He knew not to tell the truth to his buyers. From what he knew the drug worked cause he had seen a show of it in Mexico but he had no idea if the guy was alive or not. “This power as I like to call it till the cops give it a proper name comes in many forms though you get what you get. It picks the power for you but my guys in Russia are making a new batch which will let you pick the power.” He sighed watching the road making sure no one was coming. “It wont be done for another four months.”
He leaned on his car crossing his arms on his chest. “If you want to wait I can you for that but this stuff is as good as the rest.” Reefer knew that he had power but sometimes he wondered if this drug would help him out as well.

Jake was kind of surprised by his supposed picture for security reasons, but he supposed that he was only being cautious. Jake didn't worry too much about it, due to knowing that he hadn't had that much to do with the cops, besides when he didn't want to leave his own building where his then business was. As he waited to find out whether Jake was good enough for the purchase, he wondered about this guy's name. He had never heard it been used as a name before, but these days everyone had an interesting name. Jake had heard a few of those during his time meeting up and coming actresses.
When Reef confirmed that he was good, Jake had to laugh. "Of cause I am. Now to the merchandise." When Reef mentioned that he suspected that Jake had enough money, or he would have to kill him, Jake gave him a smirk. "That's funny. But yes, I have more than enough money for it." Jake watched him take out a suitcase, and then place it on the hood of the car. When it opened, Jake looked inside. The stuff inside looked good to him. Jake had seen enough drugs in his time, but never touched the stuff. Though for some reason, Jake couldn't wait to try this drug.
Reef went on about the drug, telling Jake that it would not give you a power you wanted. It would give you a random power. "Well I hope that I get one of the many possible ones I was thinking about on the way here." Then Reef spoke about his guys in Russia making up some which will let you pick the power. "Now that would be cool. Then I could get what I wanted. But I think I will test this drug out first, if you don't mind. Though if you do hear back from your guys, then I would be happy to try some of that also."
Jake got out his keys to the car, and went to get his money for Reef. He didn't want to hang around too long, not knowing if anyone was watching them. But Jake then thought that this guy seemed to know what he was doing, and was probably alone. He rummaged in his boot of the car, and took out his own case which included the money for this purchase.

Reef only gave a glare at Jake when he said of course he was good. He seemed a bit too cocky for his taste but he wasn’t here to make friends. This was just business, his business that would get him enough money so he could be free for a long time. His family didn’t take the money he gave them so he would treat himself with whatever he wanted and right now he wanted a beach house.
Reefer shook his head he couldn’t believe this guy. He was making jokes about this when he could kill him at any moment. “That’s good to know.” He really wasn’t a friendly guy unless he was out partying or really drugged up but he wasn’t so that meant he was rude. “I mean you never know who will try to double cross you.” He chuckles pushing Jake’s arm a bit joking around.
He smirked liking this guy more after he said he could let him know about the second batch of the drug. “Works for me.” After Jake came back with his money he got out a wooden box placing a vial in it. “For a grand you get one power a needle to get it in you plus I’ll throw in for free a vial of heroin since you are my first buyer in the states.” Maybe he had been wrong with Jake, he seemed like an okay guy. He could do some good in his ring of sellers. He leaned on his car crossing his arms eyeing the man. “How would you like to work for me?” Now he rarely pulled people off the streets to work with him but he sensed that this man would help him out in many ways.

Jake walked back over the Reef, and watched as he pulled out a wooden box, putting in a vial of what Jake thought might be what he was buying. He listened to what Reef said about the purchase, and then told Jake about the free part of the deal. Jake wondered if he really needed the heroin or not, but decided that he shouldn't knock it back, as he never knew who he might run in to that might need it.
Jake thought for only a second, and then patting his case said, "Well looks like I have enough for 10 vials today. Also I will take the free heroin as well, even though I don't touch the stuff." Jake opened up his case, and handed over ten thousand to Reef discreatly. He couldn't wait to take a dose of that drug to see what power he would get.
Jake was just about to ask some questions about the drug, when Reef put to him a proposal. He was not sure how to respond to that. Jake didn't know if he was the sort of guy who would deal or sell drugs to others. The only think Jake knoew he was good at was finding the beautiful women and persuading them to do things. "I am not sure if I am your guy for that Reef. I mean, I don't normally touch this stuff, but hearing about this new drug, I thought I would only be buying this stuff for myself, so I could finish off some business I have. I never thought I would come out of this deal with a job."
Jake then thought that maybe this might the career change he needed - but he needed some more information about this proposal.

Reef’s eyes widen up as he saw the ten grand. “Just to warn you I don’t think it’s a good idea to pump 10 vials into your system. I don’t think it works that way.” What was he doing? He warned someone about this when he wanted to get his money. Reefer bought this drug so he could be free yet he was playing with fire by trying to save a kids life.
He must have liked his kid if he was going to warn him. He placed the ten vials into the box giving him a look. “Well don’t knock it. Heroin is great if you need a high.”
He placed a smirk on his face. “Well what kind of business do you need taken care of?” If he could get Jake to help him sell this stuff as fast as possible he could be gone within days. “I have connections all over and if I can help I will if you agree to help me sell this stuff as much as possible.” He hoped that if Jake could get anyone to buy this stuff he could be gone and the cops could be looking for Jake if it was found.
He knew that if they helped each other out they would both get what they wanted. His life was more important then trying to trick this man to buy the drugs and leave as he might die if he took them all.

Jake had to laugh. "Now why would I be silly enough to take all ten at the same time. I know enough about drugs to not take the whole batch at once." He wondered if he looked like an idiot. Jake hoped not, but these days he may have been letting himself go a bit. Then Reefer commented about the heroin. "I'm sure it is good. But I am sure that I can find someone who will want it more than me." Jake hoped that he would go out clubbing again soon, and then maybe find a woman who was into the stuff.
Jake knew that the moment he had spoken about his previous business venture, that the guy would suss him out. "Well if you must know I was in the business of helping girls and women crack into the acting business. Though of cause I had the first say, trying them out for myself first to see if they could hack it." Jake had to smile at that last thought. He would always take them out for a good time, and 99% of the time was able to get into their pants. Due to his good looks and human persuasion, Jake always had a good time.
"But some time ago these people sold me out, and I was soon out on the street with no job. Though lucky for me I still had my glamous house and money, but was quite pissed off with the guys who took my company. I never had the time to even scratch my ass, let alone grab all of my personal files off the computer. Now I want revenge, and I want those files. Due to being the head honcho at the company back then, I can't be seen ten foot near the building. I did attempt to work with someone, but they didn't hang around to even do the job."
Jake wondered why this guy wanted to help a complete stranger. Though these days he learnt that anyone was willing to help a guy in trouble. But did Jake want to get involved with a drug dealer? Was that the way he wanted to go?

Reef nodded at the man. “Still I’m not so sure if taking all the vials even at separate times will give you ten drugs.” He should have asked that question before he got the drug plus he should have forced his suppliers for a manual on the drug. He knew that wasn’t an option but it would have been a useful tool to have for cases like this. He smirked nodding at him. “Aw yes to be young and willing to get into things. Just make sure the person who takes it from you isn’t a cop. Those are nasty people to deal with.”
After Jake told him about the girls he fell in love with this guy. “Nice move.” He now had a sparkle in his eyes when he said he needed to get his computer files. “I’m great with computers.” Leaning on his car he took off his sun glasses. “I’ll be willing to get you those files if you can help me sell this as fast as possible.” He knew he needed to tell the man why he wanted to help. “The cops are after me and since I want to relocate as soon as possible I need to sell my drugs real fast before they catch up to me.”
He knew that Jake probably wouldn’t want to get caught so he had a plan. “Since you are good with the ladies you can go have fun and ask them if they want a new drug out there. they don’t even have to know it’s a power drug. I bet you could sell it as fast as say three days.” Reef looked at Jake wondering if he would go with the deal he just laid out.

"Don't worry. I will make sure that whoever I sell it to is clean. I have a good sense of these things. Also I am pretty good as persuading people as well." Jake didn't want to talk himself up to be this big guy, but he did do pretty well with persuading. Well the girls and women he 'looked after' never complained. But I have come across one or two who have been a bit unsure about me. Maybe this drug will help in that department."
Jake listened to Reefer about how he was great with computers. Now he could see him better, as Reefer removed his glasses. He didn't look like a bad guy to Jake, and decided to let a part of his guard down, but still keeping guard on some of his secrets and past. "Well I can't see why I can't sell some of it for you. Though I would like reassurance that you are able to take on this job for me. The last guy I was talking to didn't even finish the job, which was quite a let down. He seemed to be able to handle it." Jake looked at Reefer, thinking that he might be able to help in out, due to him being older than the other guy.
When Reefer put to him that since he was good with the ladies that he could sell the stuff in about three days. Jake stepped away slightly, rubbing the three day growth on his face. "I don't know Reefer. Three days is not a long time. I know that I am pretty good with the women, but I might be able to sell maybe two a night, if that. I don't like to rush the company of the ladies, if you know what I mean. But I could see what I could do."
Jake looked at his calendar on his mobile, to see what dates he had available. "I might be able to do something on the 23rd May, through to the 26th May. I have a job as a bartender in a Las Vegas club. A friend of mine told me about the bar, where there are alot of young people always in there. So maybe I could put some into drinks, and even hook up with some pretty young things. They won't know what hit them."
Jake felt like that was a good enough plan for him. It really wasn't that long away. He might be able to get some hits before then. Who know with Jake.

Reefer gave Jake a look, as if he was saying he could handle anything. It was one thing for the man to be not sure about him because he was a drug dealer but for him not to trust him for trying to help him out was a bit too much for the old guy. “Don’t worry I will get you what you need by tomorrow night.” Yes he was that good. He had made enough contacts throughout his years to get in and out of places faster then a speeding bullet.
He shrugged at him. “Okay maybe three days is too short but still you could get the job done. I already have a buyer for two cases so I only have two more for you to get rid of.” His buyer was someone from the old group called Pinehearst. He knew what that company had done and figured the buyer would give enough money for him to be half way home.
When Jake said something about putting the drug into drinks he shook his head. “If you do that you make sure it’s the most expensive drink because I need the money. The drug isn’t just a free for all.” He didn’t want Jake to only give it to women and end up with a fake serial killer who drugs people by drinks. “I’ll be sure to get your files as soon as possible.”
He needed the money ASAP because he needed to send some money home to his mother and to his cousin Sophia but he knew she wouldn’t want to take it. Family was important to him and if he couldn’t get out of the states his family would be in more trouble then they were now.

"Well maybe four days might be good for me. This is Las Vegas I am going to. I am sure there are willing ladies out there who are into drugs. If not, as I said, I will just have to spruce up their drinks. And don't worry, the drinks will be good. But I don't think it really matters. Isn't alcohol, just alcohol?" Maybe Jake didn't know about how the drugs mixed with the stuff. But it wasn't his problem. He wouldn't be the one to be drinking it. Well, not yet.
When Reefer said hhe would be sure to get him the viles as soon as possible, Jake looked at him. "I hope so. I can't wait to get rid of them for you, but I don't want to be handling them for too long." Jake didn't fancy going to jail over drugs he shouldn't be toying with. But if this gave him the chance to mingle with the high and mighty of Las Vegas, then he wouldn't knock it back.
"So we have a deal? I will sell your drugs, and then after all is done, you will help me?" Jake hoped he could trust this guy. "You know. There are guys out there who might be willing to help me if you are just going to screw me over." That was an understatement. He had been screwed over by a bunch of old geezers who took his business from under him. If this was another attempt to give Jake a bad name, he didn't want it.

He smirked at the young man. “You have a lot to learn about alcohol.” In his spare time reefer did enjoy drinking but he only got the best of the best because he was in the high class society now even if they didn’t know his day job he still wanted to make a good impression. He was liking Jake so much with his help he would be gone forever. It was almost like this man could be related to him. He shook that out of his head as he listened to what the younger man had to say.
“Don’t worry you will.” He chuckled knowing that he wanted not to get caught. When he was younger he freaked out when he did something bad to get food on the table and that’s what made him get into drugs. Knowing that he was a worried wreck half the time he tried to make Jake feel safe. “Don’t worry if anything does happen I will get you out of it.”
Reef looked at Jake glaring. “Listen here I don’t want anything to do with whatever files you need. I just want my money and I’ll be on my way.” He pulled out a cigarette lighting it up shaking his head as he inhaled a smoke. “Don’t worry I’m doing this because you remind me of myself at your age. I just need money to lay low and to protect my family. After that I’ll be gone forever.”

"Well I am only young, so maybe after the job is done for both of us, you could teach me a thing or two about a good drop." Jake should have known that Reefer would know about alot of things, especially dangerous things. This made Jake wonder what else Reefer knew about from his time on this earth.
When Reefer said that he would get Jake out, if he was caught, Jake smiled. "Well that would be a good thing if you did help, since I am helping you at the same time. But I just hope that I don't fuckin' get caught though." Jake didn't have any connections, family, or even a girlfriend to let down. "If anything did happen, no one would really be effected. Just the people who were involved." Jake just smiled, and then looked out in the area around him and Reefer.
"Fine. If you don't want to help me with my business, then I will only buy one case of ten viles. But if you do still want to help me as well, there will be a big payment for you at the end of my job. Before my job is started, I will give you what I got from the viles I sell." Jake then thought, "I have agreed to sell your two cases of drugs, and I hope that you agree to work my job as well." With this, Jake put his hand out to hopefully shake Reefer's hand on the agreement.

Reefer let out a breath, blowing the smoke to the sky nodding at Jake. “Sure I guess I could teach you a few things.” He never had a partner or a young person to show the ropes to and with Jake it seemed like he wanted to teach him. He had no idea why but he felt like this man he had just met was like his son and if that was the case he was going to show him everything he knew.
“Someone would be effected.” He looked at the man. “Maybe a girl you screwed or an old boss if you were put in jail for this the cops would find anyone with a connection to you to make them talk. They might not know anything but they will talk about something.” He knew this from experience. A old friend double crossed him years ago and now he was dead.
Reefer looked at the man hand then back up to him. “You’re a wise cracker.” Shaking his head he looked off to the distance wondering how much damage he could cause to get those files. When he thought about the money that would be made his mind was made up. Placing his hand into Jake’s he shook it. “We have a deal.”
