Danyel was doing okay right now - curled up in her jumper, sitting in her lounge room, thinking. Her life at the moment had been busy with filming the show, and she was glad for some down time. Danyel was not that well known, though was to some people who may have recognised her from her small parts in other shows over the years. She really didn't fell like just sitting here on her own, so Danyel decided to do something about it.
So Danyel got off her sorry butt, and threw the blanket off of herself. Walking towards the bedroom, she rummaged through the wardrobe, and pulled out a pair of jeans and a green top. Slipping these on, with a pair of shoes, Danyel was ready to hit the town.
Collecting her bag, Danyel headed out the door, and hailed a taxi. While in the taxi, she wondered what would happen at this club she was going to. Also wondered if she would meet anyone interesting. Thinking that she was getting on in age, Danyel knew that she should make an effort to meet a guy and then later on decide to settle down.
The taxi finally stopped in front of a club, where the music could already be heard thumping. Paying the taxi driver, Danyel got out, and headed to line up. Looking down at her clothes, Danyel wondered whether she would get in. This thought was soon gone when one of the bouncers recognised her. Smiling sweetly at him, Danyel was let in. Well, she thought, that was easy.
As Danyel walked into the club, she decided to check out the scene at the bar. Thinking that she needed a drink, she flagged down the bartender. "Hey sexy. Can I grab a beer." The bartender winked, "Sure thing." When the beer came, he undid the bottle top, and handed it to her. "No charge." Danyel was shocked, but didn't want to show it, so she smiled, "Thanks. I will remember this."
As Danyel downed part of the beer, she turned and scanned the people at the bar. No one was really looking at her, and she couldn't really see anyone that caught her eye. But then a small group of women moved from the bar, and Danyel caught a glimpse of a guy at the bar.

Lucinda, Lucy or Cindy, what ever you wanted to call her, was dressed for a night on the town, and a night on the town she was going to have. It wasn't as if it had been a long time since she'd had a night out on the town though. No, Lucinda was a resident party animal, and could be found at a night club almost every night. Some were amazed at the fact she could do it so often and still remain so vibrant and fresh and energetic the next day. But Lucinda was always full of surprises. She loved extreme sports, much to her agent's dismay, seeing as she could scar her pretty skin, which made her the model she was.
So, tonight, she was dressed in black hot pants with high heeled boots which came up to her knees and a red leather bustier top which held nothing for the imagination. Her hair was tied up in a high pony tail with loose curls hanging down either side of her face, and her make-up was normal, well for Lucinda anyway. She wasn't a hired pole dancer or anything, but she certainly liked taking to the poles if the night clubs in question indeed had a pole to dance around.
The club she was heading to, she knew for sure had a couple of poles to dance around, she'd been there before a few times. She walked into the club which was already packed with people, made her way to the bar, ordered her usual vodka and coke and then made her way to the dance floor. Lifting up one leg onto the pole, and holding with both hands, throwing her head back, and swung herself around slowly two or three times and that's when she caught his eye.
A rather handsome guy who seemed to like having fun as much as she did, but for some reason he seemed to be alone now. She could have sworn there were woman at that part of the bar when she'd walked in. Doing another turn on the pole before leaving it and making her way toward the bar, with her drink in her hand, she walked right up to the guy.
"What's a handsome guy like you, doing on your own? That surely can't be right, huh?" She asked, and licked her lips before returning to her drink again. Lucinda wasn't out to get a boyfriend as such, she just liked to party, and if she thought someone wasn't having fun, she liked to make sure they would have fun, any way possible.

{{Okay this is probably going to be a crappy post and I’m sorry, but I wanted to reply before Mel was on LOL}} -- As the ladies left he turned to the bartender and asked for a Corona. Yes, he was asking for beer imported from Mexico. He loved the beer from Mexico. He always got it in Vancouver and it was his drink of choice. Of course, he liked others but he wasn’t going to task himself with muttering out his drinks of choice. As he got his drink he turned back to the crowd as a women he noticed who was on the poles came up to him.
He just looked at her and smirked as he took a drink of his Corona. He just laughed and just tried to ignore the women. However, he couldn’t help ignoring people. He wasn’t like that. He then decided that it would be best to start up a conversation. He winked at her and sighed, “I had my fair share of women” He said as he erupted into laughter.
He took another drink as he then caught the attention of a woman with black hair. She looked beautiful. Though he was never the type to have beautiful women around him. He was just a guy who liked women no matter if they were beautiful or not. He took a drink of his Corona again getting off his bar stool and walking over to the women that had caught his eye. He hoped he didn’t make the women he was talking to angry.
He would speak to the women he was talking to again shortly. They always tended to hang around him – even when he was ignoring them. It was just something he could deal with. He could multitask he was good at that sometimes. He then went by the women with black hair and decided that he would flirt with her with the time being. “Hello” He said with a smile. “You wanna dance?” He asked – not knowing if it was informal for what he was doing. Hell, the people in Canada didn’t mind. He waited for a response.

Danyel liked that she noticed someone, especially someon like the guy she saw. Normally she would instantly get up and go over. But she felt like she should play it cool, and wait for something to happen. Just when she knew that was what she should do, a brunette woman walked over to the guy, and began to initiate a conversation with him. All hope left Danyel then, thinking that she shouldn't have gotten her hopes up. At this, she took some more long gulps of her beer. As she turned to see what they were doing, Danyel noticed that the guy was coming over to her. She wondered why he would, what with the other girl much younger than she was. Though that thought soon disappeared when he reached her side. Then he asked is she wanted to dance. Without thinking, Danyel looked at him, smiled and said, "Sure, why not. It is a club after all." She looked back at the brunette, wondering what she was thinking. Danyel knew that she would be slightly pissed if the guy she was scamming on made eye contact with another female. But at this point in time she didn't seem to care. He only had eyes for her right now, and that was all that mattered. The music changed, and Love & Sex & Magic came on. The whole crowd went wild, and Danyel realised that she knew the song, hearing it a lot on the radio. She made her way onto the dance floor, and instantly began to get into the song, moving close to the guy, but not too close to give him the wrong idea. She didn't want to scare off a guy whom she didn'd know the name of. Moving close to his face, getting near his ear, she decided to tell him her name. "Name is Danyel."

Was I just given the brush off? I was, I was just given the brush off thought Lucinda. Nobody ever gave her the brush off, nobody. Dammit she thought to herself some more. "Fair enough then, can't force you." Lucinda said and then sighed as he erupted into laughter. She must be failing in her techniques, she'd have to start practicing again, men usually fell at her feet. What was even more annoying was that he took off to start talking to another woman.
She marched up to him, with her hands on her hips. "Had your fair share of women have you? But not enough to go asking someone else to dance, when you could have had a private one with me?" She then put her hand up to take her hair down and shook it about her face, before looking at the black haired female.
"Oh well, not as if he was marked as mine anyway, you're welcome to him." She said as she watched the two of them begin to make moves on the dance floor. However, watching them made Lucinda think she might as well get in on the action as well. Who said you had to have one dance partner only?
So she made her way onto the dance floor and began to dance with the guy, turning to the black haired girl, "Don't mind if I cut in do you?" Then she began to laugh, "Sorry, it's alright, you carry on, I'll just stand by the side and watch." Lucinda said and laughed again as she continued to watch them move and look around to see if somebody else would catch her eye.

He smiled at the black hair women who agreed that a dance would be wonderful. The two of them headed to the dance floor and he began to wonder she looked familiar. Like someone from a television show. Then she said her name he found it hard to believe when she introduced herself as Danyel. That was the name of one of his co-stars. Perhaps this Corona was making his mind go crazy.
“That’s funny, a co-star of mine is named that” He said with a smirk. “Anyways, I’m Walter” he said finally deciding to introduce himself. He figured it would be the nice thing to do. Isn’t that what people did when they did that when they were at clubs or something like that? He shrugged his shoulders back and was enjoying the dance with her when all of sudden the women he ditched came back to him. This kind of annoyed him and it showed in his voice as he began to speak with her.
“Got a problem, Miss?” He asked in a sarcastic voice as the women that he recently blew off came in the middle of his dance with Danyel and he was kind of annoyed with this. He just rolled his eyes and tried to act calmly to this person. He never had women fighting over him before and this was new to him. He just narrowed his eyes. “You’re a bit rude aren’t ya?” He said rolling his eyes as the women was now in the middle of his dance.
He waited for the women to response. He really never expected two women to fight over him. This was just supposed to be a fun night on the town and yet here he was in the middle of having two females just about to fight. Well, Danyel wasn’t saying anything – not yet. He wondered if she would say something to this rude person who cut into their dance. He wasn’t very pleased at this moment. However, that was just life.

Danyel couldn't belive the nerve of the other woman, who just seemed to be not able to take no for an answer. Though she decided to not respond to this woman, not wanting to create a cat fight for other patrons to feast their eyes on. She had to think of the show she was working on, not wanting to give herself a reputation of being a thief when it came to guys.
When the guy mentioned that one of his co-stars had the same name, Danyel looked at him carefully. Then he said his name, and it soon clicked. "You are on the show Stargate as well! You play Lucas McCallis I believe. I play Yanina Childress." She couldn't believe that they had both decided to visit New York during the break from the show. Danyel hadn't really chosen New York for any reason, just needed to have some fun and a relaxing time away from it all.
That fun time was soon ruined when the other woman decided to butt in, literally. Walter sacastically asked her if she had a problem, which Danyel also wondered. Did she not get the hint? Really, some women just don't take no for an answer. At least Danyel has some sort of self control and common sense, she thought. Danyel was about to say something to her as well, when she moved away. Danyel moved back to Walter, "What is her problem anyway. It is like she can't take no for an answer. Is she intimitated by me or something?" Who knew, but Danyel knew that she just missed the rest of the song because of the interruption.
The song changed to a slow one, but one that Danyel was not used to. But the slow beat made her body move slowly, and soon felt it begin to brush, and then rest right next to Walter's. Putting her arms around his neck, Danyel slowly led her head on his shoulder. "Mmm..," was all she could muster up as the music kept playing.

Lucy shook her head and rolled her eyes at the guy. "No, I don't have a problem, you're the one with the problem from what I can see. You say you've had your fair share of women and then brush me off to approach another woman. That means you've got a problem, and I'm a model, how can you possibly knock this back?" She said as she swung her hips from side to side, and then ran her own hands down her sides as if she was showing him what he was missing out on.
"Well, I wasn't meant to be rude, but you kind of started that, by walking off on me and talking to another woman." Lucy said huffing slightly. She noticed the dark haired woman didn't say anything to her, talking to the guy instead. Although she did hear her comment about was she finding her intimidating. "Me? Find you intimidating? No, not at all. It's alright, you're welcome to him, I'm leaving now, have fun, but don't do anything I wouldn't do." Lucy mouthed off, and then with one quick turn of her heel she left the two of them alone.
After a few minutes of scanning the club and not really seeing anybody else who would catch her eye, she finished her drink, and got her jacket and then left the club. So much for finding the right guy tonight she thought.
{Okay Lucy out of this one, since I have another thread with Alex now - have fun guys ^^}

Walter wasn’t like this at all. He hated when women fought over him and to be honest. He had saw the black-hair one first and he was going to go with the black-hair women and not the brunette. He wasn’t that into brunettes though it was just the way he was. He was also trying to focus on not making a big scene and it was probably going to end up that way.
He went on to mention that one of his co-stars had the same name and he wasn’t thinking for a moment that this woman could be one of his co-stars. That would just be awkward. Awkward always followed Walter. The next thing he knew that she was indeed his co-star. How freaky was that!? He wondered to himself. He smiled. “Yes, I play Lt. Colonel Lucas McCallis” He nodding in agreement and was about to mention who she played but then she then said it.
He was really enjoying his conversation with Danyel when that brunette that he brushed off came back to him and they had a conversation. He was a bit sarcastic to her and really didn’t mean too. He just hated when people didn’t get the picture that he moved on with someone else. Especially since he found someone was his co-star. “Right” He said rudely. Soon enough she was good. He really didn’t even pay any attention to what she had said. He then focused back on Danyel as the song had changed to a slow one.
The two of them were now close to one another as the beat of the slow music made the two of the inch closer to one another. He placed his hands around her waist as she placed her around his neck. He was enjoying this dance. He liked slow music and he also liked fast music. However, this was just right. He didn’t say anything as the two of them just danced to the music.

Danyel was glad that the other woman was gone, she was really giving Danyel a headache. She didn't want one as she wanted to enjoy this time with her new found friend, who also happened to work on the same show as she did. Danyel had been on other tv shows, but never in a big role, and had never really gotten close to any of the stars of the shows. If it was only a small part, she was gone in a couple of days, so never made any friends. Though now Danyel was here with Walter, maybe making history of her own: making a friend.
She kept her position with Walter, feeling that this felt right to her somehow, but she only wanted friends from guys in order to get to know them. Feeling his hands on her waist, steady her body so that she would keep moving slow. But then the music changed, and she didn't want to move from this embrace. Finally she pulled away, and smiled at Walter. "Thanks." Somehow that was all that she could get out. Danyel was surprised at that, as normally you can't shut her up. Clearing her throat, she spoke, "A drink might be good now."
Danyel felt she needed to sit down, for some reason. She had only danced twice, and needed a drink. Once at the bar, she flagged down the bartender, and ordered a vodka and orange. Turning to Walter, she wondered if she should talk about work, or just talk about other things, like her interests, and get to know each other.
"So, what have you been up to lately? I haven't been doing much. Though have been sitting around home, doing nothing at all. I have tried to watch dvd's or read a book, but I have just been itching to go out and have a good time. That is just me I guess. The party girl."

Walter was rather glad that the other women had gone. She was a real pain in the ass. He always seemed to get those crazy women back in Vancouver. He never imagined that it would follow him to New York. New York was just a different kind of animal compared to Vancouver. The only good part of this experience was he had found a co-star and perhaps he could make a new friend. He could always use the friends.
He hoped that with the dancing she wouldn’t mind him putting his hands near her waist. It was just natural for him to do that with dancing and if it wasn’t proper to her than he was sorry. He hated to be that way. Perhaps he should apologize. The music stopped and he smiled when she said thanks. “You’re welcome” He replied in a soft tone. He smiled again when she said that a drink would be good. “Good” He remarked.
For some reason Walter thought he needed a drink. A drink to forget that one encounter with that crazy woman. She was also bitchy and Walter kind of hated that in women unless he got to know them and knew why they were bitchy. He followed Danyel to the bar and he sat down next to her as he told the bartender what he wanted rum and coke. Danyel then began to talk about what he had been doing lately.
“I did a few appearances at some conventions” He began as he thought what he had been doing during their little hiatus. “Been writing, I get bored so I write fanfiction about the show, I know I’m lame at that” he said in a light whisper unsure if she had heard him or not. “And I have been partying, so what have you been doing?” Walter asked directing the question to Danyel now.

As Danyel listened to Walter, telling her about what he had been up to, she wondered why she was never asked to do conventions at this time. Though I suppose the show is only new, and they wanted to see what sort of response they would get to only a couple of actors from the show. "How were the conventions. I have only been to a couple, but only as a member of the public. Never actually on the panels or at the discussions. But would love to some day. I would love to hear what everyone thinks of the show."
She then heard about his past time of writing. "You know, you never know they might need a story idea for the show. Maybe I could read what you have written one day. I am sure that they are fine." Danyel dabbled in writing of her own, but hadn't done so in such a long time. She made a mental note to maybe go and write that novel she had always wanted to right. Though at the moment she knew that she didn't really have the time, what with being on a new show and all.
When Walter asked her what she had been up to, she had to reply to his last comment on what he had done. "Well I have been out partying a couple of times, including tonight. Though since work on the show has finished for now, I have been kind of lazy, and have been keeping to myself. Though after tonight, I might just go out a lot more." Then Danyel some of the other things she had been doing, while keeping to herself. "I have found something else that I love doing too. I have begun to dable in creating computer graphics. I am loving making stuff, experimenting with blending and so forth. It eats up a lot of time, but I have a lot of that on my side right now."
Danyel finally received her drink, and took a few sips. She felt a bit better after having a drink. Danyel scanned the club, which seemed a lot more packed than before, but checking her watch, soon realised that this was the time when more people came out of the woodwork. She turned to Walter, wondering what his responses would be to what she said.

"They are rather fun” He said with a slight chuckle thinking about the recent convention that he went too. They were hilarious though that was because he was Evan Anders who was at him at the recent panel. He also began to wonder how Greg and Dean were taking the panels. “So you haven’t been on a panel?” He asked shaking his head in disbelief. “We are doing one more convention in July, maybe you can with us on that, the one in July is going to be huge.”
He then began talking about his writing and then gave him some encouraging words that maybe one day that they’ll take one of his ideas. “You never know,” he commented wanting to shake his head. “But that would cool if I could write an episode” He knew the writers wouldn’t like his idea. His ideas were crazy. However he just had to have a positive attitude. It was the only way and perhaps one day he would be able to have an episode that was written by him that would be amazing.
He then decided that it would have been proper to ask what she had been doing. He wasn’t the kind of person who talked about himself – that wasn’t who he was. He always liked to hear what others did for living or what his friends did since the last time he had spoken with that. It would seem she had been partying also. “So you like to party too” He said with a smirk. He was going to like this person. Finally a party chick besides two gay guys he was sick of hanging out with Greg and Dean those were crazy. He then listened to her when she was into computer graphics. “Nice” He remarked, “I do computer graphics as well” He said wanting to mentioned that he could do graphics on his phone.
However he decided to not go with that he was going to keep his ability a secret everyone else in his family did only selected members knew about their abilities and he wasn’t going to freak out a new found friend out that he had an ability. He wasn’t going to be like that. A few moments later Danyel received her drink and soon after that he received his drink. He took a sip of his drink and glanced around noticing that this place was buzzing. “So what is on your agenda for the night?” He asked “I just hope my brother’s dog isn’t tarring the furniture in the apartment”

Danyel listened to what Walter said about the conventions, and hoped that she was available to attend the one in July. "I will have to speak with my agent to see what is going on. I should at least be at the next one, if it is the last for a while." Danyel felt a bit angry, wondering what on earth her agent ever did. She would have to kick her up the bum to get her going.
When Walter asked her if she liked to party too, she had to nod and smile. "I do actually, though haven't had any one to really party with. I think most of the cast are out and about doing their own things. They might not be into the same things." Danyel noticed that smirk that he gave when he asked her, wondering if he liked to go out and have a good time. "So, do you like going out as well? I haven't been clubbing in so long, but it feels like it is aimed more at the younger ones these days." She looked around, noticing that there weren't that many around their age. Then the whole computer graphics hobby of hers started another topic. "Well we will have to compare one day then. I have done so many these last few days, what with not having anything else to do."
As she sipped her drink again, Walter asked her what was on her agenda for the night. Danyel hadn't really planned anything, as coming to the club was kind of spontaneous, so she was truthful. "Nothing really. I hadn't really planned on coming here tonight. But if you need to get back to your apartment, then I totally understand." Maybe he said that so he could get away from her. That book that she had been reading the other night sounded inviting right now.
