When Jackson got serious and said he meant it and that he was looking past all her cuts and bruises, Emma could only smile at him. He said such really nice things, but then, she had to agree that if it had been the other way around and Jackson was the one lying in this bed after an accident, she'd have still said he was her handsome Jackson. He then commented on it being her twenty first in a couple of months. She gave him a sad smile, "And I had wanted to do something really special, like dancing the night away." Then she looked in the general direction of her leg.
She had been told she would need physiotherapy in order to use her leg again, after the pins had done their work, maybe if she worked hard enough, she might just be able to manage it for her twenty first birthday. She certainly hoped so anyway. When Emma had suggested they watch the television and talk, Jackson agreed. Then she sat as he flicked through the channels and the movie Ghost happened to be on.
"Oh, I love this movie." Emma said with a grin, and sat back snuggling into Jackson as she did so and began to watch the movie. When it got toward the end and Sam says to Molly that he loves her, he always had, Emma could feel her eyes beginning to water. She knew she was going to start crying, and it would be ridiculous to hold it back, as she had a golf ball sized lump in her throat from doing so. But she felt Jackson kiss her face then and she knew he had caught her.
"Bloody film." She said, and laughed a little, as she turned to look at him and shook her head slightly. "That bit always gets me, same with bloody Titanic at the end." She added, and then turned back to the movie until it had completely finished. In many ways Emma hoped that her relationship with Jackson would end like a movie, only not one with a happy/sad ending like Ghost or Titanic, maybe more like Pretty Woman, when the guy gets the girl in the end, although Jackson already had her, and he wasn't going to lose her.

Jackson didn't know if he should have mentioned about the whole twenty-first birthday that she will have soon. Then when Emma mentioned what she wanted to do at the party, Jackson's heart fell slightly. She sounded sad, but had a smile on her face. That still didn't do anything to reassure Jackson, but he knew that he should be the one to reassure her instead. "Emma, I am sure that you will be fine to do some sort of dancing. It is a month and half away. I... we are all here to help you any way we can."
Jackson smiled when she said she loved the movie Ghost. Of cause she loved the movie, majority of females would love it, that was certain. He felt her settle into him for the movie, getting comfy, which was find for him. He didn't mind watching a girly movie, if the girl he was with was enjoying herself. He sensed that she was crying, and saw it. There were the tears alright.
Emma commented that it was the film, and Jackson kind of laughed, knowing full well it was the movie. "It's okay. I know how it is. My mum probably does the same." He didn't want her to think it was silly to cry in a movie. That part of the movie was sad, but not tear worthy. But Jackson was a guy.
Once the movie was over, Jackson retrieved the remote for the tv, and turned it off. He turned to Emma, and smiled. Just as he was about to talk more, the nurse came in. "Hi Emma. Sorry Jackson. The visiting hours are finished now. Emma really needs her rest." Jackson nodded slowly, and then the nurse walked away.
He turned to Emma, and kissed her cheek slowly, letting it linger for a few seconds. Then he looked at her. "Well looks like I am getting kicked out. But I will be back tomorrow, don't you worry about that. I will have time before I go and record another song for this album." Touching her nose, for a second, Jackson continued, looked a bit more serious. "You are my priority at the moment. I want to help you get better."
With that Jackson lent in, giving her a gentle cuddle, and then kissed her on the lips. He wanted to show her how much he loved her, but knew that he also didn't want to hurt her in anyway. Finally getting up, Jackson retrieved his things that he had brought with him. Turning back to Emma, Jackson walked back over, and gave her a big kiss. "I will see you tomorrow Miss Woods. I hope that you have a good nights rest, okay? I love you." With that Jackson slowly walked out of the room, not before he turned at the doorway, and smiled.

When Jackson had tried to reassure her that her twenty first was still quite a bit of time away and that she would probably be fine to do some sort of dancing, she had to believe him, because if she didn't she was scared she might hate her twenty first, and nobody wanted to have bad memories of such an important birthday. It was funny how people saw turning twenty one just as important as turning eighteen. It always used to be that twenty first was the important one, as that was when you got the key to the door so to speak, but then they made it when you turned eighteen, but people still celebrated the twenty first as well. She remembered all this from when her mum told her at her eighteenth.
"Well, maybe you're right Jackson, Marcus says I'm a fighter, and I think he's right. If I'm determined to dance at my twenty first birthday, you can guarantee I'll do what I can to make sure it happens. And having you and everybody else's support means the world to me Jackson." Emma said softly, but she gave him a brighter smile than the last one she gave him which was a bit more of a sad one.
After she had cried at the ending of Ghost, Jackson said it was alright and he knew how it was and that his mum probably did the same thing. "I can't help it, emotional movies like that always get my tears going. " She was glad he understood and that he obviously didn't think she was foolish for crying at the movie. Soon after a nurse came in, saying that visiting was over and that Emma needed her rest. Well, she couldn't argue with that, she did indeed need her rest if she was going to get better, but at the same time, she didn't want Jackson to leave her.
She smiled as she felt Jackson kiss her cheek and allowed it to linger. "Alright then Jackson, I don't want you to go, but I know you have to." She said, then he said he would be back tomorrow and he touched her nose, which made her wrinkle it, but laugh a little, as it tickled slightly.
"I'm glad you feel I'm your priority Jackson, but I don't want your career to suffer either." She had to say that, because she knew her own career, or at least one of them, had suffered because of her accident. She didn't know if she'd ever be able to return to competing, but the more she had got used to the idea of it not happening, the more she thought it might be a good idea to just become a coach. At least she wouldn't have to work so hard, and she could be a part time one along with someone else, and that way she'd be able to spend more time at the surgery. So really, the accident, as sad as it was, might be a win, win situation.
Jackson then gave her a hug and a kiss before collecting all his things together getting ready to leave, but before he did, he gave another kiss. Which she responded to, not overly passionate, but enough of a response anyway. When he said he would see her tomorrow and she was to have a good and that he loved her she just kept smiling at him. "I will rest, and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow, and I love you too." She replied, and as she watched him leave, she lay back on the bed, and closed her eyes.
{ooc - assuming you were aiming for this to finish? So I made her sleep.}
