5th November 2008
Arthur had asked Daphne to make a delivery to Angela Petrelli annonymously, it was something he needed her to get urgently, but for Daphne not to say who it was from. Since Daphne had superspeed, he knew he could rely on her to get the package to Angela within minutes. Of course, working for Pinehearst where Arthur was the boss, Daphne didn't have a lot of options in what she did or didn't do.
So, she nodded her head, took the package, and told him she'd get it to Angela safely. Before she had a chance to leave, he once again insisted that Angela knew nothing about where the package came from. She said she'd make sure Angela didn't know where the package came from and left his office, leaving papers fluttering around in her wake.
After delivering the package, she decided to head into Queens area for a look around the shops, and something to eat and drink. After some time, she found a small cafe and ordered herself a sandwich and a coffee and sat down at a table toward the back and began to eat her sandwich and drink her coffee. While doing so, she thought back to the other day with Sylar. That had been a weird confrontation, and even now, she sat here thinking about him. It was just wrong. He was a killer, what was she thinking of. Maybe her sub conscious was telling her she could try and fix him. She sighed gently, as she took another bite of her sandwich.

Sylar was waiting to be checked out by the FBI. He knew they had to be coming, for him. They were going to ask him questions. He had just killed a Presidential candidate and they had to be on to him. They just had too. The Company was probably also on his ass also. He had no clue, but they had let him go. Angela had to be the one to tell them, to release him...she was his mother.
The villain had decided to visit his apartment in Queens. He needed a change of clothes. He entered his apartment and sighed. It was a mess, the last time he was even in his apartment was with Peter and everyone plotting out attacks a few months ago. Now it was empty. He barely slept in his apartment anymore. He bit his lower lip and grabbed clothes. He then decided to grab his glasses.
Today, he was going to see how his employees at his job were doing. Every once in a while he would go and check on them. They had no clue that he was a murder or a person with abilities. They were all stupid. He walked out of his apartment and placed his glasses on as he went towards a small café. His favorite café. He entered and rolled his eyes as he saw a short figured women sitting in his spot. He frowned and ordered his sandwich and went over to disturb her. “Excuse me, but your…” He raised an eyebrow when he recognized the person. “Mind if I sit with you?” He asked as he took off his glasses.

Daphne was quietly enjoying her sandwich and coffee when she heard someone speak. It sounded like they were about to say she was sitting in their table or something, and she looked up ready go have a go at them, asking if it had their name on it or something. When they changed their mind and actually asked if he could sit with her.
It was then she realised it was Sylar. Funny how she should be thinking about him when he appears. She swallowed the bite of her sandwich and stumbled over her words a little. "Yeah...sure... course" she began, "sit down, go for it" she finished, as she then took a sip of her coffee.
She watched him, he looked so cute with those glasses on, then he looked cute when he took them off as well. Oh stop it Daphne she thought, as she pinched herself. She had to stop thinking like this about him, he was crazy, a killer, she probably shouldn't even be sitting with him. But smiled at him just the same. Better a friend than an enemy Daphne she thought to herself.

He smiled and sat down as he waited for his sandwich and soda. He bit his lower lip and decided to say. “I killed the Senator…” He muttered in a low whisper hoping, people weren’t listening to him speak about it. He had told Mohinder about it and Mohinder seemed to be not surprised at it. He knew the Indian had a meeting with his mother, today.
He wondered if he would be the topic of that event. He always was. He had no one to turn to for help, the only ones that were helping him were just Suresh. Maybe, things would be better off he if he never found out about being a Petrelli. He sighed as he bit his lower lip again looking around the café.
“So how have you been, Daphne right?” He asked as his sandwich and soda came.

Daphne tilted her head to look up at him when he spoke about the Senator, so he'd done it then. Giving him that message, still wasn't one of her highlight moments. At least now though, there was a certainty Nathan would win the election, and that's all Daphne had wanted. "Alright, so it did come true then" she mumbled and then shook her head slightly, and then smiled at him.
"Yeah, that's right, Daphne" she replied when he questioned if he had her name right. "And I've been alright" she continued, giving him another smile, as she then continued to eat her sandwich and drink her coffee.
'"What about yourself?" she asked with a smile, "How have you been? What you been up to other than killing the Senator?" she asked in a whisper, not wanting anybody else in the cafe to hear what they were talking about. Last thing Daphne wanted was a scene.

“What do you mean it did come true?” He asked as he tilted his head. He wasn’t clueless, but he hated when people would mumble and shake their head, something was terribly wrong if someone did that. He knew that from experience, of course, that was with Brain Davis, his first victim.
He smiled, “Okay, I thought I got it right” He said as he glanced around the café as his sandwich and soda finally came. He began to eat it as he listened to her speak about her being alright. That was good. He wondered what the hell this girl did for a living.
“Nothing much, been keeping low. I’m waiting, for the Company to come and get me, they always come..but they haven’t yet, which is surprising me, then again my mother is the head of that Company” He said sighing. “Have you heard of a Company called Pinehearst? A friend of mine was talking about it…”

Shit!! Shit, double shit!! He had heard her, she thought she'd said it quiet enough. Now she would have to explain about the painting. Which probably wouldn't go down too well. She wasn't quite sure what to say. However, with Sylar, better to just tell him, than to keep it from him.
"Oh, well, yeah" she began, stumbling slightly, "I saw a futuristic painting, and it showed you having killed O'Niel" she said, and then bit down on her bottom lip, while she continued to take another bite of her sandwich and sipped on her coffee some more.
"Yeah, and you're Sylar" she said with a soft sigh, "You're not one to forget easily" she continued, but gave him a sly smile. He might have been a bad ass killer, but he was definitely cute.
She listened intently as he spoke of what he had been up to recently, and spoke of The Company and then he mentioned Pinehearst, the bane of her life. "Well it's good no one has come for you yet, and yeah I've heard of Pinehearst" she said as she looked down for a second, she hated the place, "I work there as it happens" she added, and then looked back up at him again, before finishing her sandwich and having another drink.

He rolled his eyes. “Yeah, there are a lot of paintings of me, it is really sad” He admitted as he bit on his bottom lip as he smiled. He proceeded to eat his sandwich and drink his soda. He looked around before focusing his attention on her again.
“Actually, in this part of town, I’m Gabriel” He admitted “I’m a local watch repairman, yeah I know crazy for a damn serial killer” He said with a slight chuckle as he placed on his glasses again.
He raised an eyebrow, “You work at Pinehearst?” He asked with a curious tone. He was curious because he heard that they could help with doing something, something to take away the hunger…that he had. “I heard they could help…with a side effect of my ability, I have this hunger, that wants abilities…and I want it to go away…I was stuck in an FBI agent body, for a few hours, and I triggered, the hunger that he absorbed from me, and he went to kill me, with it…I was in agony…”

"oh, so you know about these paintings then?" Daphne asked a little curiously. "And how much of a lot is a lot?" she asked, she couldn't help it, she was curious to know. Beginning to wonder just how many people he had killed and if all the killings were shown in futuristic paintings.
"Oh" Daphne began, "Well Gabriel then, watch repairman? Really? How come you turned into a killer?" she asked, she didn't know why she was asking him all these sort of questions about killing and stuff, it wasn't right nor was it natural. But somehow she felt compelled to ask him questions like that.
"I see, well it wouldn't do any harm to go and pay them a visit then" she replied, interested to know herself what kind of help they give, because Daphne didn't really like the company much, and wondered what good they actually done.

He raised an eyebrow, “I can paint the future, too” He muttered “I killed a man named Issac Mendez, that painted the future” He said. Issac was one of the few first victims he had encountered and it wasn’t the last, which was really sad or so.
“Ever heard of Chandra Suresh?” He asked as he ate his sandwich. He was a very slow eater. “He was one of the causes of me going into killer mood, and my adoptive mother…” He muttered as he looked at her. He wasn’t going to go into full detail. He had regretted doing that to people, but it was part of life.
“Well, let’s go then?” replied Sylar as he finished his soda. “Lead the way speedy” He said.

"I see" Daphne replied, wondering just how many people he had killed for their abilities. "So you know a lot about painting the future then" she added, tilting her head to the side and biting on her bottom lip slightly.
Chandra Suresh?! The name seemed familiar to her, but she wasn't sure she knew him at all. She shook her head slowly. "I don't think I know of him, but the name seems familiar, I'm not sure why though" Daphne replied as honestly as she could. As she finished her coffee.
"I'm sorry they made you become what you are" Daphne said softly, as she looked down at her feet for a few seconds. It must have been awful for him she thought sadly. Maybe he isn't such a bad person after all. Although that wasn't the first time she had thought that.
"Alright then, we shall go" Daphne said with a grin, as she grabbed his hand. "Ready for the run?" she asked him as she took off once again leaving a wake of fluttering papers.

“He wrote book, and I was one of his first patients…” He said being honest. He didn’t know why he was being brutally honest with this girl. However, he had a little crush on her it would seem. He had no clue why, but maybe they had a destiny together or something.
“It’s just a fact of life” He said with a sad tone as he sighed. It was a part of life and it was just what his destiny laid out. Which sucked, but that was life. Maybe…he could change his destiny…just maybe.
He watched her grab his hand and the next he knew they were running at a high speed. He wondered if he should absorb this power or not. Maybe he would later…but not know. He bit down on his lower lip as they stopped at Pinehearst. “So this is Pinehearst?” He asked.

Book?! That's where she had heard the guys name. Of course she thought, he had written a book about people and their powers hadn't he? She began nodding her head giving Sylar a knowing smile. "I know now, yeah he wrote a book about people and special abilities, is that right?" she asked, still not overly sure she was right with that. "And you were one of his patients? So obviously what he did, wasn't for the better then?" which was kind of dumb to ask, after all, he had been a killer and a psychopath, of course it hadn't been good.
"Yeah" she said sadly, "But life and destiny can be changed Gabriel" she said with a grin. Wasn't that the whole point of all this precognitive people around. It was a chance to change things.
"Yeah, this is Pinehearst" she said as she tilted her head and then looked around to see if she could see Arthur, because he would be the one Gabriel would need to see. Yes, it was true, she had taken to calling him Gabriel suddenly.

Arthur Petrelli was wondering the halls of his company, hoping that the errand that he sent Daphne on was to be finished. He hoped that she was able to do the task without going through a detour or whatever. He needed her to be focused on the task at hand. He tilted his head as he saw the blond or so with a young man.
He shook his head as he chuckled to himself. Why was his son Gabriel here? He wanted to know. He slowly went down to where the two were and came a distance, from them as he debating, if he should say anything to the boy. He had heard that Peter and he knew about them being twins, and what would be next? Well, we just had to find out.
He placed his hands in his pocket, “Daphne, I instructed you to bring a package to my wife, but you brought back someone” He bit his lower lip as he walked over to them shaking his head, “My name is Arthur Petrelli and believe it or not, I have been waiting, for this moment for a long time, son” He said with a smile.

“Yes that is correct” Sylar muttered “I was patient zero, the very first patient, amazing isn’t that?” asked Sylar as he tilted his head looking at the blond. He was kind of being sarcastic, but that was the way he was with people. He got that from his father, Simon.
“Destiny cannot be changed, my adopted mother always said destiny was meant, for people. People cannot be changed, then again she was a quack job” He bit his lower as he mentioned about his adopted mother.
“Well, it is nice” He said as he looked around as an older man came up to them and introduced himself as Arthur Petrelli. Gabriel’s eyes grew wide, “Petrelli?” He said as he raised an eyebrow, “Waiting for this moment?” He question back, “According to Peter, your dead…” He said as he folded his arms.
