{Continued on from the mature thread - City of Love - Part Two} Stacey watched Brendan look at the time, and state what they could do next, before going to the show. "Sounds like a plan B. I definately need that shower now." She smiled at Brendan, looking at him sideways. Stacey took his hand, leading her to finish off the shower, they were meant to have done before. She let the water run over her body, while Brendan used the shampoo. He then gave her the bottle, which she took. Stacey squirted a good quantity on her hands, and massaged it into her hair. Five minutes later, Brendan said that he was done. Stacey got up, as she was bending over, shaving her legs, and raised her eyebrows. "That was quick? I just have to finish shaving my legs, and then I will be done also. The water can get turned off." Stacey then went back to shaving, but not before she got one more look of Brendan. Once Stacey was done, she got out of the shower, and walked over to get her robe. Going over to the sink, she grabbed her comb, and ran it through her damp hair quickly. Once she was done, she looked in the mirror, and saw that her cheeks were a bit red. Well, she thought, that might be from what we just got up to. Smiling to herself, Stacey walked out of the bathroom, grabbing a towel on the way. She then walked over to the suitcase, and saw that Brendan has packed her favourite dress, so she pulled it out of the bag. Stacey also found the underwear that was best suited for it as well. She then took all of this to the bed, and laid it out. As she took of the robe, and began to towel off the remaining water off her skin, Stacey wondered what the night would bring. Room service sounded so nice. They could just relax in the room, while eating, and then casually just move onto the show. Stacey just hoped that after their love making sessions, that she wouldn't fall asleep at all during the show. Sometimes afterwards, she would feel so exhausted. Pleasured, but exhausted. So she wished that she would stay awake. For Brendan's sake more than anything, as he had planned this for her. Soon enough, Stacey was dressed. She hoped that what she was wearing was okay for where the show was. But thinking, she did know that Paris was somewhat the fashion capital of the world, and were probably used to seeing all sort of dresses. So she stopped worrying. Looking up at Brendan, she smiled, standing up. "So. How do I look? I still need to do make up and hair. Make up especially, since a certain someone has left a lovely little reminder of our time in the shower." Stacey smirked as she said that.

When Stacey agreed with his proposed plan before the show, Brendan gave her a warm smile, those dimples once again on show, which were hidden during their moments of deep passion. "Am with ya on tha' one Bambi." Stacey then took his hand as he led her back toward the shower. It didn't take Brendan long to wash through his hair, and shower himself down, after all, he had already been lathered up earlier, so it was more a case of rinsing himself down. When Stacey remarked that he was quick, he just grinned at her and winked, "Well wha' can I say Bambi? Am a speedy guy, apart from when we're makin' love." He chuckled a little after that. However, he stood until Stacey looked like she was finished, and then when she told him he could turn the shower off, he did. Brendan had then left the bathroom with a robe wrapped around him, and just sat on the bed. Between his body heat and the robe, it wouldn't take too long for him to dry off. He then reached across for his comb and began to comb his hair through properly. Once he was dry enough, he would go and put gel on his hair to flick up the edges. So, while Stacey was getting her outfit ready for later, Brendan went back into the bathroom to fix up his hair, and then he went back into the bedroom and looked out a pair of dress trousers and a white shirt. About ten minutes later, Brendan was dressed and sat back down on the bed again, watching Stacey as she got ready. When he heard Stacey ask how she looked, he grinned at her, giving her a low whistle. "Ya look gorgeous as always Stacey." She then went on to mention about the lovely reminder he gave her from their time in the shower. He put his hand up to his mouth, pretending to be shocked, "Damn, didn' think I'd got tha' heated." He then moved his hand and winked at her, chuckling. "Am sure ya'll manage to hide it." He then stood up and wrapped his arms around her waist gently and gave her a soft, tender kiss on the lips. He then stood back from her and pointed to himself, "So, wha' abou' me then?" He was teasing her by asking, but he thought he might as well get her opinion on how he looked. Once she had answered him, he sat back down on the bed again, and reached for the phone. "So, wha' would Mrs. Harris to be like ordered fer room service? An' am talkin' food." He winked at her, and gave her a cheeky grin. He knew how his own mind worked had he been asked that sort of question, and given their earlier antics, he thought he better just clarify he was indeed talking about food and nothing kinky.

Stacey had to smirk at the fact that Brendan pointed out that he was a speedy guy, but not when making love. "Well, I can second that motion." Stacey didn't want it to lead to more passion between them, as they didn't have the time for another session of love making. She finished shaving her legs, and then watched as Brendan turned the water off.
She watched Brendan go back into the bathroom, after she got out and began to get her clothes set for that night. Again, Stacey wasn't quick enough to be almost ready, as Brendan was dressed and had done his own hair before she was done. Well, it was typically the woman who was the last to be done, so she didn't really feel that bad. As she was closing her dress up, she saw him watching her, which let her give off a small smile.
Brendan grinned, and told her that she looked gorgeous as always, after she asked him how she looked. Well, maybe she did now, but what about down the track, when she was starting to show. Stacey decided to not mention that, as she recalled that Brendan had told her that he would love her during that time. Maybe she would look good, as she had heard that woman have this glow about them when carrying. Who knew. Time would tell.
Stacey had to burst out laughing at Brendan's reaction at how he acted when she talked about the love bite he had given her in the shower. Then he winked and said that he was sure she will manage to hide it. "Maybe. Might have the right make up for it. But I know that you loved me enough to give it to me." Stacey wondered if she should mention about next time, to give her one somewhere else besides her neck, but she decided to maybe leave that to the next love making session.
Brendan then stood up and came to wrap his arms around Stacey's waist gently, giving her a soft kiss on her lips. She in turn kissed him back just as softly. Again Stacey had to laugh a little when Brendan asked about what he was wearing. She took his hands in hers, making herself stand back a bit. "You look handsome Mr. Harris. Very handsome." Then she let go of his hands, and wrapped her arms around his body, nuzzling against his chest.
They broke apart, and Brendan sat down on the bed, and reached for the phone, asking her what she would like to order for room service. The funny thing to her was that he then added that he was talking about food. She pouted her lips into a sad face. "Oh, I thought you were offering again." Then Stacey let out a laugh, and then looked sideways, thinking about what she wanted. "Um, maybe roast pork and vegetables, and no carrots." She had to add that in so that she wouldn't get any. But if she ended up getting any, she would just pass them onto Brendan to eat.
Stacey waited for Brendan to order the food, and once he had hung up the phone, she sat on the bed next to him, leaning her head on his shoulder. "So Dimples. Did the afternoon please you? I know you wanted to hang out at the water park, but I just think my hormones got the better of me." Stacey took his hand in her own, and continued. "I did read something on the net yesterday about how in the first three months, things go a bit haywire. But I hope that my moodswings don't get too out of hand. I would never want to get into arguments over the little things, but know that it might happen."

Brendan could only chuckle when Stacey agreed with his statement about being a speedy guy except when making love. It was great how they were getting to know each other so well now. They may have only been together for a few weeks, but they both seemed to know each other fairly well, at least when it came to the intimate part of their lives. Of course, there would probably still be the odd thing they would find out about each other as the weeks, months and years went by.
As Brendan watched Stacey get ready, he saw her smiling, he was about to go and help her with the zip on her dress, but she seemed to have managed it by the time he had got up to make a move to do it. Brendan couldn't help but wonder what was going through Stacey's mind after he had said she looked gorgeous as always. She had better not be thinking he would think different when she began to show, because he had already said that wouldn't make a difference to him. If he thought that's what she was thinking, he'd seriously have to have words with her, to help her get it into her head.
Brendan couldn't help but laugh when Stacey laughed, after his pretend shock at what he had done to her in the shower. Was it his fault she was so god damned irresistible? No, it wasn't. He knew damn well fine what he had done, but looking at the marks she had, he did feel bad that he had done it in a place where it was so visible. He had said he was sure she'd manage to do something to hide it, and then she said she might have the right make-up for it, but that she knew he loved her enough to give her the love bite in the first place.
"Well next time, I'll make sure tha' I pick an area only visible to the both of us an' not the whole damned world." He chuckled again, as he ran his hand along her neck where he had, well for want of a better word, attacked her. "Ya know, ma mom always said tha' toothpaste can lessen the bruise in them things. Migh' wanna give it a try." He shrugged his shoulders as he said it, because he'd never had a love bite himself, and until he met Stacey, he'd never given one to another woman before, so he wasn't sure if his mom's theory worked or not.
When Brendan had kissed Stacey softly, she had kissed him back just as softly. Then he had pulled back asking what she thought of his attire for the evening. When she laughed a little, he looked at her with his lips in a petting pout, "Wha? Ain't I allowed to be given compliments an' all?" He was teasing her though, and he laughed right after saying it. But Stacey then took his hands in her own and said he looked handsome, very handsome. He grinned then, showing off those dimples, does it really need mentioned every time? What the hell, why not, it sounds good. Showing off those dimples, he looked at her, "Why thank ya Mrs. Harris." Then realised he forgot to add in the 'to be' bit. What the hell, she would be that soon enough anyway, so he left it as it was. Then Stacey wrapped her arms around him and nuzzled into his chest.
He loved when she did that, and it made him automatically bend down and kiss her on the head, like he seemed to do with Stacey and Libby all the time. He liked to think that it was his signature move to the special ladies in his life. They then broke apart and Brendan had reached for the phone to order room service. He waited for Stacey's reply, and he couldn't help but chuckle and wink at her when she put on the sad face, saying she thought he was offering again. "Maybe later sweetheart." He grinned and winked again, and then listened to what Stacey wanted.
"Alrigh' then, an' no carrots, remembered tha' from the other nigh'." He grinned then, feeling quite proud of himself from remembering that little snippet of information. He then made the phone call down to the reception. "Can we have roast pork with vegetables, no carrots please, an' a Cajun chicken with vegetables, no sprouts. Also I'd like a bottle of yer finest white wine, an' strawberries with cream." After the receptionist said their order would be with them within the next twenty minutes, Brendan hung up the phone.
Stacey then sat on the bed next to him, and leaned her head on his shoulder, and began to ask him about the afternoon. "Hell, why wouldn' I be happy Bambi? Yeah sure, the water park migh'a been fun, but nowhere near as fun as the way the afternoon ended up." He leaned his head down on top her head then, to reassure her that he really didn't care about the water park. "Besides, am sure we can use the hotel pool sometime. Save us the god damned long walk." He had to laugh a little after that, then Stacey continued by talking about her hormones, and taking his hand, and the mood swings, hoping they wouldn't get out of hand.
"Stacey, sweetheart, we spoke abou' this already, I know it migh' not be easy, am ready to take the good with the bad, if ya have mood swings ya have mood swings. An' I'll do ma best not to get into arguments with ya, but if it happens, we'll get over it. Ain't no way am losin' ya over a few stupid arguments." With that he wrapped both his arms around her holding her close, to reassure her. He wasn't going anywhere, not now, not ever.

Stacey had to restrain herself from laughing again, when Brendan laughed at what he had done to her in the shower. She then listened to what he recommended for next time, then Brendan ran his hand along her neck where the love bite was. Stacey closed her eyes as he did this, but then opened them again. She willed for her feelings to not show now, as they had already had their fun twice in that afternoon. If they started a third time, they would miss the show. "Well I will have to remind you that for next time."
Then Brendan told her about his mum's remedy for the love bite. "I will have to remember that for when we come back from the show." She hoped that that might work, but knew that she would be able to cover it up mostly herself for now with make up. Stacey really wasn't that worried about it, knowing that most people probably gave them, or got them sometime in their life. She had had her fair share from guys, but she was fine with the one that Brendan gave, just hoping that the next one was in another area.
Stacey just shook her head slightly, thinking it was funny when Brendan pouted at her, and asked her if he wasn't allowed to be given compliments. He then laughed after it, which Stacey joined in with his laughter. Those dimples were on show again, and in full force. She just loved them so much, Stacey smiled, and then held his hands, looking at him at a distance, and commented on how he looked. Brendan then thanked her, and Stacey picked up instantly that he had called her Mrs. Harris. She wondered if she should say anything to that, but she decided to not say anything. Stacey then wrapped her arms around him, and nuzzled into his chest.
Brendan then instantly bent down and kissed her head. Stacey now loved him doing that also. She had a list of things she loved about him, and maybe one day she might actually write them all down, and secretly send it to him. Maybe she might do that via email when she had free time. Stacey always tried to show Brendan that she loved him, but thought that since he was always writing songs for her, that she might write something for him, even if it wasn't a song. Stacey wasn't that creative at all.
Stacey watched as Brendan chuckled at what she said, in regards to the room service thing. She was glad for his response to that first part. Stacey loved teasing him, and making fun of the current situation, whatever it was. She listened then when he said that he remembered about her not having carrots, and then smiled. "That's great, B. And I remember that you don't like sprouts." Brendan made the phone call, telling them what Stacey wanted, and then what he wanted, including a bottle of wine, and strawberries with cream. That sounded like a good ending to a nice meal. She couldn't wait to feed one to Brendan.
After Stacey had asked Brendan about the afternoon, he spoke straight away. He had asked why he wouldn't be happy. He went on about how the water park might have been fun, but nowhere as fun as the way the afternoon had turned out. Brendan then leaned his head on her own, which was still on his shoulder. "Okay," Stacey said with a smile. Then he mentioned the whole hotel pool. She had forgotten about that. "Well, if I feel up to it tomorrow, maybe we can try again to have some fun, other than in the room."
Stacey kind of knew that she shouldn't have brought up the whole moodswings thing, but she had. Brendan replied to her, saying that they had already spoken about that, and he knew that it might not be easy, and he was ready to take the good with the bad. Stacey had to smile then, when he said that he would do his best not to get into arguments with her, and if it happens, they would get over it. Then as Brendan finished off with saying that he wasn't going to lose her over a few arguments, she lifted her head off of his shoulder, and smiled. "I'm glad, and I am not going anywhere. But you will know about it if I start the fights over stupid things, and just storm off. I know I can get a bit stubborn, but the whole moodswings thing might just make this worse. So just want to prepare you for some all out yelling maybe." Stacey hoped not, but you never knew.
She then kissed his cheek, and went back to laying her head on his shoulder, and placed a hand on his knee. Just sitting here like that was nice. Just being with Brendan was just great, and loved just sitting there, just doing nothing, for now.

When Stacey said she would have to remind him of giving her a love bite in a different area next time, he raised his eyebrows a couple of times, "Yeah tha's fine sweetheart." Although he already had taken a mental note of where he was going to give her a love bite next time, and it was definitely somewhere only he and Stacey would be able to see. However, the only problem with the new area he was thinking of, he'd have to be careful not to be too rough in case he hurt her, now that she was pregnant. He had read they could get tender, because as the pregnancy went on, they filled with milk for breast feeding. Which led him to then wonder if Stacey would do that, or would she bottle feed. He then shook his head of the thoughts, it was still months away yet.
Brendan smiled at Stacey when she said she would have to remember to try his mom's remedy when they came back from the show. Hopefully he would remember to remind her himself, as he was intrigued to know if it actually worked or not. Apparently something in the toothpaste helped to take the bruise away, or so his mom said anyway.
When Brendan had laughed after teasing her about his not getting compliments, Stacey laughed along with him. He liked when she did that, because he loved her laugh. Then again, he loved everything about her. After she had complimented him and he had thanked her, she had wrapped her arms around him, nuzzling into his chest. He had immediately bent down to kiss the top of her head, and then they stayed in that position for a short time.
After Stacey had teased him over the room service thing, and he had said maybe later, he couldn't stop grinning. He loved when they teased each other like that. It was just another aspect of what made them both fit together. Stacey then remarked she remembered he didn't like sprouts, when he had said he remembered about her not liking carrots. He smiled at her then. He then went on to order their meals and wine and strawberries and cream for after.
When Brendan had answered Stacey about the afternoon, he had leaned his head on top of hers, and Stacey replied with an 'okay'. That was good enough for him. He hated to think Stacey thought she was spoiling things. She could never spoil anything, even when she had him in turmoil over her decision about keeping the baby or not, he might have been a bit upset if she'd decided not to keep the baby, but he'd have got over it. When he had mentioned the hotel pool, Stacey responded if she felt up to it, they could maybe go to the hotel pool. He grinned at her, "Sure Bambi, although, can't spend too long if we do, there's somewhere we gotta go tomorrow evenin'." He winked then, he was of course talking about his birthday surprise for her. So her birthday wasn't until the day after, but in order to get her where he wanted to take her, they had to leave tomorrow in the early evening.
When Stacey had brought up the whole mood swings thing again, he had told her he was ready to put up with the bad as well as the good. And that if she had them, they'd get over it. He also mentioned he wasn't about to lose her over some stupid arguments and then wrapped his arms around her to reassure her. She replied, by saying she was glad and she wasn't going anywhere either, but then went on to say he would know about it if she started fights over stupid things and then storm off. He just chuckled and shook his head a little then. She then continued with a warning of maybe some all out yelling. He shrugged his shoulders then, looking at her with a serious face, but eyes still smiling. "Stacey sweetheart, I don' think it's gonna be any different to livin' with a woman normally, ain't they always havin' strops over the silliest things?" He chuckled again, and then got all serious again.
"Honestly, if it happens, it happens, I ain't gonna say ya didn' warn me, cause ya have. But sweetheart, let's jus' take each day as it comes, an' am sure we'll get through it." He pulled her to him closely again then, giving her another kiss on the top of her head. He did have an idea what it could be like, as even only being four when Debbie was born, he remembered his mom having yelling matches with his dad at times when she was pregnant with his sister. His dad just used to let her yell and storm off, and leave her to come out of it in her own time. Always, without fail, his mom would come back after a half hour or so and wrap her arms around his dad, and he'd just take her in his arms and tell her that everything was going to be alright.
He knew that's exactly the way he would be with Stacey, Brendan was in many ways, very much like his dad. Just then, there was a knock at the door. "Tha'll be room service." Brendan gently pulled out of the embrace and went to the door, took the tray from the trolley, handed the servant a generous tip, and then closed the door, carrying the tray over to the table outside on the balcony, as it was a lovely evening, probably the after effects of his earlier weather manipulation.

Stacey was now intrigued as to what Brendan had in store for her tomorrow evening. They were going to the show tonight, and today they went on a bit of a tourist walk. Maybe there were other things to look at around the city. Stacey should have researched Paris itself yesterday, but instead was looking up stuff about pregnancy, which was probably more important now, since she was now pregnant. "Okay B. I am sure that late morning might be best to head down to the pool. Just have to make sure that I am feeling okay." She hadn't mentioned about the whole thing he spoke about, about going somewhere tomorrow evening. Stacey was sure that he would tell her in his own time.
When Brendan replied to her, in regards to telling him about how she might get when she got all moody, she gasp, like she was offended. But Stacey had a grin on her face at the same time. "Well, Mr. Harris. How many women have you lived with? Do tell!" She laughed, and then saw Brendan face go serious. She then gave him a warm smile as he replied to the rest of what she said. "I know we will get through it B. I am glad that I will get through this pregnancy with you. Can't see it any other way." Stacey hadn't known anyone who had been pregnant, even her mum, as Stacey was the youngest in the family. But she knew how she was, and knew that she might just get in a temper.
Just then Stacey heard a knock on their door. Brendan acknowledged that that would be room service. Staced moved apart from Brendan, letting him go and retrieve the meals. She watched Brendan, knowing that he did look handsome in what he was wearing. It was nice to see him dress nicely, but it was also nice to see him butt naked as well. That thought made her smile somewhat. But she shouldn't be thinking like that. They were going to go for a nice evening out, and Stacey was going to enjoy herself in his company.
Brendan then turned around, and headed towards the balcony. Stacey followed him then, outside. Just the smell of the food was making her hungry, but then something was also making her stomach turn a bit as well. As she got closer, Stacey soon figured out what that something was. She sat down, and frowned a bit. She opened up the lid to one meal, and her stomach began to do funny things. Stacey put the lid down on it. "I think you may have to eat my meat B. Looks like I won't be able to touch it, even though it is my favourite. It is turning my stomach with the smell of it." Then Stacey began to get upset, resting her elbow on the tabel, and leaning her head on her hand.
Here we go, Stacey thought, here come the hormones. She tried to blink the tears back, but it was too much, and she began to get quite upset.

When Brendan spoke about not spending too long at the hotel pool due to having to go somewhere the following evening, Stacey responded, about going in the late morning, so long as she was feeling alright. He nodded his head, smiling at her, "Well, late mornin' or early afternoon, wanna make sure yer feelin' well enough sweetheart." They didn't need to be where they had to go until just before seven in the evening. And Brendan wouldn't even think about going down to the hotel pool until he knew for sure Stacey was feeling better.
He was glad Stacey didn't ask about where they were going tomorrow night, because he wasn't sure how much he would have been able to tell her without giving any of the surprise away, and Brendan just loves surprising Stacey. Alright, so his first surprise didn't go down well, what the whole fear of flying, but at least that was over with and he now knew not to take her on surprise flights. This surprise, he was certain she would be more than fine with.
When Stacey challenged him over the how many women had he lived with, she had a fair point. He couldn't help but laugh out at that, "Alrigh' ya got me there, to be honest, only ma mom and sister, but trust me when I say tha's more than enough to go on." Then he had got serious and when Stacey replied, he just gave her a warm and comforting smile. "Well tha's good then, an' to be honest, am sure glad yer the one am gonna be sharin' all this with." Even though he loved Libby, and probably would have done the right thing by Faith at the time, he knew their marriage would never have lasted, because he had never felt for Faith the way he felt for Stacey.
Their room service had then arrived, and Brendan took it out to the table at the balcony, Stacey soon sat down, and Brendan did the same, but as he looked up at her to smile, he saw the look on her face and he immediately became concerned. He was about to ask her if everything was alright, when she spoke to him. Well, that was obviously the start of hormones going crazy where food was concerned. "Well, ya gotta eat somethin' to keep yer energy levels up Bambi, do ya like chicken at all, wanna have mine then?" He asked, knowing that he could take the carrots off his plate and put them onto Stacey's, if they swapped their meals. Then not sure whether she liked chicken or not, he decided to add, "Or, we could jus' scrap this an' go out, an' get somethin' simple, pizza, or good old fish an' fries?"
He then waited for Stacey to respond. Then he saw her rest her elbow on the table and leaning her head on her hand. He could tell she was getting upset. Then came the tears. Brendan got up from his side of the table then and made his way round to her, bending down to her level, and turning her face so he could see it. "Hey, hey, this ain' nothin' to get yerself upset over sweetheart. Pregnancy can sure do weird things, food ya hate, ya start to like, an' food ya like ya sometimes hate. It's all to do with the whole cravin's thing. Ya probably read it yerself." At least he hoped she had, he didn't want this to be the start of the mood swings she had been speaking about before, if she got wound up about him knowing something again she didn't.
"Come here." He then wrapped his arms around her. "It's alrigh' sweetheart. Ya wanna jus' go get somethin' simple outside? Anythin' ya like." He hoped this would do the trick, however, if Stacey decided she wasn't in the mood for going out now, well, that would be fine. It wasn't as if the tickets to the show had cost that much anyway.

"Maybe early afternoon then. Though the morning sickness so far has only really been lasting till late morning. So it might be a good thing to have lunch a bit earlier, and then go to the pool. Maybe I do need to get a little sun, or just some relaxation. I did read that during the first trimester that I will get tired, what with my body trying to adjust with everything." She was glad that she had read that bit. Hopefully she would be okay tonight, after their double lot of love making. If she was going to get tired, then she should maybe slow down on that side of their relationship. But deep down, Stacey didn't want to.
Stacey watched as Brendan laughed at her pointing out, asking how many women he had lived with. When he listed his mum and sister, she just smirked, rolling her eyes. "Well, I should have seen that one coming." But these days, you never knew if a guy had lived with a woman or two before they met you. So she felt it was a fair, but cheeky, question. When Brendan acknowledged that he was glad that she was the one he was going to share it all with too, made her smile warmly at him.
When the food was carried out, Stacey was all for eating. Since she hadn't eaten much at all, all day, she knew that dinner times would be the time to eat something substantial. But just the smell of the roast pork, the one thing she loved, was starting to turn her stomach, like she was going to be sick all over again. She saw the look of concern on his face, as she turned to speak to him about what she might have to do with her meal.
She knew she had to eat something, but it would not be her favourite meal. "I know I have to eat something." She wanted to tell Brendan that she didn't want to take his meal away from him, but the emotions were beginning to well up inside her. Brendan then suggested that they could just scrap this meal, and go out, and get something else. Stacey didn't have the energy to reply, she just leaned her elbow on the table, and leaned her head on her hand.
The tears were continuing to fall. Why now? Just the dramatic end they needed to a perfect afternoon together. Of cause she would be the one to initiate it now. Brendan bent down to her level to talk, and turned her to face him. Through the tears, Stacey listened to what Brendan was saying. It was nothing to get upset over? What was he thinking? This was her favourite meal, and she wouldn't be able to eat it now. Brendan then went on about the pregnancy, and how it can do weird things with food.
Trying to calm down a bit, but still with tears falling, Stacey tried to get her point across. Here comes the moodswings, she thought. "But you don't understand. This is my favourite meal, and I am just about to waste it over not being able to eat it. I don't want anything else. I want to eat this," Stacey exclaimed. Then Brendan wrapped his arms around her. She just wanted to scream, knowing that she might have to repeat herself. She didn't want to get angry at Brendan, but that was the way she was feeling inside right now.
Pulling away from his embrace, she looked at him through a tear stained face. "I don't want anything else." Pointing to her untouched meal, she continued. "I want this, but I can't eat it." With that, Stacey got up, pushing her chair back forcefully, and headed back inside, and walked straight to the bathroom, shutting the door hard. She then sat on the toilet, and just sat for a few seconds. Then Stacey put her head in her hands, and began to cry loudly.
Then she started to calm down then. Stacey got up, looked in the mirror, and just stared at herself. She was a mess in a fantastic dress. Looking down at the shampoo bottle on the sink, Stacey picked it up, and then threw it across the bathroom, making it hit the wall. She didn't care if something got broken in the process. And she didn't care if it made a lot of noise. She was angry at the fact that she wasn't able to eat that meal outside, that was now probably getting cold. She then slumped to the floor, legs out to the side of her, and just let the water works flow out of her.

Brendan listened as Stacey spoke in greater detail about hopefully going down to the hotel pool the next day. He didn't mind what she wanted to do, so long as she felt well enough, that was all he cared about. "Well, wha'ever ya wanna do sweetheart, is fine with me. If ya feel like havin' lunch a little earlier, then we can." Brendan was so in love with Stacey that he would do anything for her, so long as she was happy. If Stacey was happy then he was happy.
When Brendan had said the women he had lived with was his mom and sister, he watched as Stacey smirked and rolled her eyes. He had to laugh at her response. "Yeah, maybe ya shoulda seen it comin', but am tellin' ya, the two of them together woulda made the easiest of goin' guys tear his hair out." He laughed again then. He remembered what it could be like, especially when they were both on their period, it was hell. His mom always having a go at his dad, and Debbie always having a go at him, even though he knew Debbie adored him, and his mom adored his dad. But that was what hormones did to both of them.
After their room service had arrived and they both went out to eat on the balcony, Stacey soon said that he would have to eat her meat. He had then said she had to eat something and the tone in her voice when she answered should have been enough to set alarm bells ringing. He had then offered her his own meal, so they could do a swap of meals. However, she didn't answer him, instead as he looked across, he could see she was getting upset. Was this going to be the start of the bad with the good, he wondered. He sighed gently, getting up to try and comfort her in his typical loving way. Her response wasn't quite what he had expected from her, but he couldn't say she hadn't warned him.
When he said it was nothing to get upset over, she went on to say he didn't understand, it was her favourite meal and now she couldn't eat it. His heart did ache for her, because he knew how he would feel if suddenly something inside him, put him off his favourite food. But when he had said it was nothing to get upset over, he was more meaning the money involved than the fact she couldn't eat her favourite meal.
"I wasn' really talkin' abou' the fact ya couldn' eat yer favourite meal Stacey. Thought ya were gettin' upset over the cost or somethin' sorry." He wasn't even sure if it would make any real difference to her, with what he was saying. He could feel the moodswing coming over, and he knew he would just have to take it. Then as if on cue, it happened, she pulled away from the embrace and went into a strop about not wanting anything else, but wanting that, and not being able to eat it, and then the chair was pushed back roughly. She then went into the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind her.
Brendan didn't know what to do. He knew what he thought he would do, but now that he was faced with the situation, he wasn't sure if he could just leave her alone to come out of it. He was concerned more than anything else. He let out a low whistle, and then put his head in his hands, and pulled at his hair slightly, before standing up, and not in the mood to touch his own meal now, he made his way into the room and sat on the bed. Really not sure what to do.
He decided to try and use his dad's method and just leave her be, but soon after he heard a loud crashing noise. Had she fallen? Or had she just thrown something? He wouldn't know unless he went into the bathroom, but at the same time, he wasn't sure if he wanted to do that. Maybe it was best to just leave her alone and let her come out of it when she was ready. If this was what pregnancy was going to do to her, maybe it might have been best for her to have chosen the other decision. Not that that was a decision he had wanted her to make, but he hated to see her go through so much turmoil. Why did pregnancy have to mess with a woman so much, he wondered.
In the end, the sobbing of Stacey coming from the bathroom got too much for him, and he stood up, and opened the door gently, looking down at her with a pained expression on his face, he was hurting because she was hurting. He took out his handkerchief then, and began waving it in his hands, trying to make light of the situation, as if he was surrendering to her. Whether it would have the desired effect he didn't know. But he wasn't going to just leave her when she was in the mess she was in, Brendan didn't work like that.
Without saying anything, he walked to where she was slumped against the wall on the floor, sat down next to her and wrapped his arms around her and held her closely. He wasn't even going to say anything, as he wasn't sure how it would have come out and he didn't want to sound smart, or make the situation worse. He then bent down and kissed her a few times on the top of her head. Hoping it would calm her down. He really didn't give a damn about the show, even though he had got the tickets because he knew how much Stacey loved it, the most important thing right now, was making sure Stacey was alright.

Brendan said that whatever she wanted to do was fine with him, in regards to going to the pool, and having an early lunch tomorrow. Giving Brendan a warm smile, Stacey nodded, "Okay." She was glad that she had Brendan. He seemed to do okay with going with the flow with things, especially now with the way she was. Then when Brendan replied about the whole living with his mum and sister thing, she had rolled her eyes. He of cause had said that yes, she should have seen it coming. Stacey had to giggle a little, when Brendan said that with the two of them put together it was enough to make the easiest going guy tear his hair out. Well, she thought, I hope I am not anything like that, even though she was sure that his mum and sister were fine.
Stacey didn't want to get into a fight over food, of all things, with Brendan, but knew that it was going to happen, at least on her side anyway. As she said that he didn't understand, about not being able to eat the food, as it was her favourite food, she felt he didn't understand at all. Being Brendan, he probably was trying, but she felt that, due to her feelings now, from this horrible moodswing, and the hormones, she was quite upset, and kind of angry at the same time.
After she had pulled away from him, Stacey had again told him that she didn't want anything else, and wanted what she had basically ordered. She didn't want to do it, but she pushed the chair back, and left Brendan at the table, where he had tried so much to calm her down. Well, it seemed that these moodswings were definately going to take its toll on Stacey, she just felt it. She knew that she was headstrong and all, at times, but now it was going to go double from now on.
Stacey felt she just needed to be alone with her growing anger. She was angry at not being able to eat the meal that she had ordered and wanted at the time. She was a little angry at Brendan, for not maybe understanding that she wanted that meal. She was almost mostly angry at herself for now having these stupid moodswings now, which seemed to be controlling her personality. It had felt good to throw that shampoo bottle, somehow letting out that anger. At least she hadn't tried to physically hurt herself or Brendan, she hoped that she never did that.
But then she had to just sit down, and let out the emotions. Stacey knew that she was crying loudly, and uncontrollably, but she didn't care. She knew that this was her way of letting it all out. If Brendan had been there right now, she didn't know if she would be able to talk, just cry and let it all out. Then for some reason, she went to the thought about what would have happened if she had gotten rid of the baby. She wouldn't be having this moodswing, and her hormones would be in check. Though, she might have felt empty, knowing that she had gotten rid of something that she could have lived with all along. So Stacey might have been a mess anyway. Maybe not an emotional wreck, but she might have just wanted to curl up for the rest of the trip, and not do or say anything.
Soon enough, Stacey heard the door open between her crying. She didn't remove her hands from her face. At this point, her knees were bent, so her elbows could rest on them. She knew that it could only be Brendan, but had no idea what he was going to say, or how he looked right now. Stacey was able to stop for a couple of seconds, and said through her hands, "Go away." It was forced, and it wasn't said in an angry voice. She had said it weakly, hoping deep down, Brendan wouldn't in fact go away and leave her.
Stacey then felt a body near her now. She gasped a little, as a pair of arms wrapped themselves around her, holding her closely. Then those unmistakable lips came down on the top of her head, kissing her a few times. All Stacey could do was cry all the more now. She felt her anger starting to subside, which led to Stacey moving her hands up, and just holding onto Brendan's arms tightly. All she wanted to do right now is just stay there in his arms, and never let go.

Brendan could only smile when Stacey said okay with regards to going to the hotel pool the following day. He only ever wanted to do what made Stacey happy and comfortable. It didn't matter what he wanted, so long as she was happy, that was all that mattered to Brendan. He was happy to hear Stacey giggle when he spoke about his mom and sister making the most easiest of going guys tear his hair out. He grinned at her then. There was no denying Brendan was a pretty easy going guy, he just hoped if Stacey did get a lot of these moodswings, he wasn't put to the test too much, but somehow, with Stacey, he couldn't see himself tearing his hair out. He loved her too much.
Brendan was still finding it pretty difficult to believe that Stacey had blown up over the meal, although to a degree, he could understand it. She was obviously hungry and had been looking forward to that meal so much, only to discover, her hormones were making her feel nauseous over her favourite meal. He couldn't help but blame himself because he was the one who was putting her in this position by getting her pregnant in the first place. So, it takes two to tango, fair enough, but if he'd been more careful, then she might not be pregnant now, and would be sitting at that table eating the meal she had ordered.
All he could do as she continued to strop was put his hands up in a sort of surrender. He knew not to mess around with her, there wouldn't be any point, and maybe, just like his dad used to do, leaving her to come out of it in her own time would be the way to go. As he watched her push the chair back and leave the table, his own appetite had suddenly disappeared. He really didn't give a damn about the wasted food or money, what he did give a damn about was his fianceƩ, who was in a strop over food. Food for heavens sake. What other little things, was he going to have to have the joy of witnessing while she was pregnant? Who knew?
He sat on the bed, running his hand through his hair constantly, a few minutes had passed, and he heard the crashing noise, and then the heavy sobbing. He began to tap his foot up and down, wondering just how long he would be able to leave her to get on with her strop. Was what his dad done with his mom right? It seemed to be at the time, but now he was in this situation himself, he wasn't sure it was the right method for him. Maybe he'd have to give his dad a call and have a man to man chat with him about this. See if he could advise him in anyway.
Eventually the sobs of Stacey coming from the bathroom was becoming too much for Brendan. At least fifteen minutes had passed, and he couldn't stand it anymore. He wasn't going to be able to do what his dad done, he couldn't wait any longer to see if Stacey would come back out. So, he was the one to do the surrendering. He made his way to that bathroom door and opened it, of course he had done the silly thing with his handkerchief, trying to lighten the mood, but she was too busy sobbing into her hands, she hadn't even noticed it.
However, she had known he was standing there, as she'd said in a forced voice for him to go away. He wasn't about to do that though, as that wasn't the way Brendan worked. He never even said anything, he just went over to her, sat down next to her, wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close. He had then kissed the top of her head a few times. He soon heard her cry even louder, after he had done that, and felt her hands hold onto his arms tightly. He then began to rock with her a little. He didn't really know what to do or say now. He just wanted to wish it all away.
Then he said one of the only things he could have said, even if it might be the wrong thing to say, "Ya know Stacey, maybe keepin' the baby wasn' the righ' thing fer ya righ' now. Not tha' am regrettin' it maself or anythin', guess I jus' don' like seein' ya like this, an' ain't sure am ever gonna like it." He kissed the top of her head again. Time was also pushing on, and they'd have to be leaving soon if they wanted to catch the show. But, he wasn't really bothering about it, he had got the tickets for Stacey more than himself. He wondered if he should say something, or let it go, but he was scared if he let it go, Stacey might not forgive him for letting the tickets go to waste.
After sitting there with her in his arms for about ten minutes, trying to calm her down, he decided to speak again, maybe give it a try and see how she felt. Rather than push the fact they had to go, he thought he would try a different tactic with her. "D'ya wanna jus' cancel goin' to the show sweetheart? I don' mind either way, jus' so long as yer happy, tha's all tha' matters to me." He pulled her gently ever closer again, still rocking with her slightly, hoping that he had managed to calm her down completely now.

Stacey had seen Brendan put his hands up, as she spoke, like he was telling her that he surrendered or something. But she only had a one track mind now, just telling him that she wanted the meal, and eat it, but she couldn't. Stacey didn't even think about how much it might have cost, she was just worried about mainly wasting such a nice dinner. One she may not be able to eat while she was going through these hormone changes, or even as long as she was pregnant.
Stacey had no idea how long she had been crying in the bathroom all alone. It had seemed like a long time in her mind, but it may have only been like a few minutes. Stacey knew that she would have to go out and face Brendan eventually. She was the one who had had the blow out over the food, not him, so in a way she will have to go out there and apologise for it. It was partly her fault, and partly her hormones fault. She hated being like this now, and wondered if she would be able to continue with the hormones for the next eight months.
When Brendan had come in, Stacey didn't want him to go, even if she had said to him to 'go away' so forcefully. She didn't want him to go, knowing too well that he needed to be by her side through it all with her. If she lost him now, Stacey didn't know what she would do. If she stopped doing any of her normal activities, she would just hold herself in a motel, and never come out. She would be so depressed from what might happen between them. Stacey never wanted to love anyone else but Brendan.
His arms wrapped around her, she felt safe, but now the water works started to move on, making her cry all the more. This is where she was meant to be. Not crying her eyes out, but in his arms, just being there with him. She had to let him know that she was glad for him being there, so her hands had gone up to hold onto his arms, that were around her now. Soon after, Stacey felt herself being rocked slightly by Brendan. Stacey was too upset to say anything to him. She was just glad that he was there now with her.
But soon the silence, apart from her crying, was broken by Brendan. She didn't quite expect him to say it at all, even though she had thought about it herself only moments earlier. Stacey had no idea what to say to what he had just said. Was he having second thoughts? But he had added that he wasn't regretting the decision at all. Stacey knew that she would have to tell him how she was feeling as well, but through the crying, it was just not possible.
After five minutes of just sitting with Brendan, in his arms, Stacey felt that her crying was coming to an end, somewhat. She was sobbing a bit now, just trying to calm her body down, from all the crying. She shifted in his arms, to half look at Brendan. Stacey didn't know if she could face him at all, but knew that she had to do it now, before she chickened out in a way. "If you don't regret the decision, why did you say that?" Stacey wasn't mad, she just wanted to know why he had thought that.
Stacey then decided to tell him what she had been thinking. Looking away from Brendan's face, she quietly spoke. "I was kind of thinking about what if I had gotten rid of the baby. I wouldn't be putting you through all of this shit right now. My hormones would be fine, and there would not be any of these uncontrollable moodswings." Swallowing, Stacey continued. "But then I thought about if I had actually done that. I know that I would feel empty, knowing that I had just gotten rid of a life that I could have lived with all along. I would have just wanted to curl up for the rest of the trip, not wanting to do or say anything." Stacey then waited, wondering what Brendan might say to what she just said. She then felt some tears begin to form in her eyes again, just thinking about what she had just said. Then the waterworks started up again, but not as bad as before.
After another five minutes, Stacey felt herself calm down a bit more, feeling that she had no more tears to cry anymore. She should be okay now, Stacey thought, just knowing that Brendan was there. Brendan than spoke to her again. She had forgotten about the show as she was being a blubbering mess. But how could she forget, what with her favourite dress on. She felt him pull her closer to him, and felt the rocking of what he had been doing now continue. But if she wanted to respond, Stacey would now have to face him completely. She moved around in his arms, enough to look at him, through a tear stained face. "No, no. Don't cancel on what has happened B. I had been looking forward to it. I am still. The reality check of my moodswings just had to play out a mini show for us first, that is all." She hoped that this might lighten the dark mood that she had created before.
Wiping at her face, Stacey slightly smiled at Brendan. "I still want to go, if it is still okay. And ... I am sorry for just now. I knew that I might get a bit out of control, but nothing like that." Her moodswing did kind of give her a bit of a shock. She hoped that she was never like that with Brendan ever again. But she couldn't promise anything, knowing full well that this was just the beginning of all the fun they were going to share. Lucky them.

After Brendan had went into the bathroom to get Stacey, he had just sat down next to her and pulled her to him, trying to calm her down. He hadn't even spoken right away, just letting her know that he was there. He hated seeing her like that. And he soon wondered why his dad could have just sat it out for however long it took his mum to calm down. He had tried it, and couldn't do it. He didn't say anything, just kept rocking her slightly, although he couldn't stay quiet for too long, he hated seeing her like this, and Brendan had to finally say something about it.
Stacey didn't respond right away, but he had half expected that anyway, as she was still crying heavily and it was difficult to talk when you were crying. He knew that only too well, not because Brendan had tried to talk while crying heavily, but he had been faced with it often enough between his mom and sister. What he had said, wasn't something he had enjoyed saying, as he didn't regret the fact Stacey was pregnant, but he just didn't like seeing her go through all of this, and she was still quite young comparing to him. Although, he did wonder, would it make that much of a difference if she was going through it now, or in a few years time? She'd likely be going through just the same problems in a few years time, as she was now.
Eventually he could feel Stacey begin to calm down slightly, and that's when she responded to what he had said, asking him why he had said it if he didn't regret the decision himself. He had said it because he couldn't stand to see her like this, but maybe she hadn't caught that part, as she had still been heavily crying at the time. "Cause I ain't sure I can see ya go through this hell sweetheart. An' afore ya say it, I ain't talkin' abou' maself, I said I'd be there fer ya through it all, an' I will, am talkin' abou' actually havin' to see ya like this. Ya know when yer hurtin' like tha', it hurts me an' all." He said this as he kept his arms around her, still trying to keep her calm.
Not long after he had said that however, Stacey began to talk some more, and he looked at her with a serious face. So, she had been thinking about what would have happened if she had gotten rid of the baby, just like he had been doing himself before in the bedroom. He waited for her to finish before he replied back to her. "So yer happy to keep goin' through with the pregnancy then Stacey?" He asked, again using her proper name, like he always did when he was being serious. "Thing is, I migh' be happy abou' this baby sweetheart, but am so in love with ya, tha' the only thing tha' matters is how yer feelin' abou' all this. Ya know am gonna support ya no matter wha', guess am jus' gonna have to get used to seein' ya like this, if yer definitely goin' through with the pregnancy." With his arms wrapped around her, he hugged her closely to him again then, and once more kissed the top of her head.
He was actually fairly happy to just sit there with Stacey in his arms, but he of course knew that if Stacey still wanted to go to the show, then they would have to get leaving soon. Especially now that Stacey would have to freshen up, and there was also now the fact neither of them had eaten, but maybe they could get something on the way back from the show, if they decided to just walk back to the hotel, taking it easy.
When Brendan had spoke of the show, and mentioned cancelling it, he felt Stacey move in his arms slightly and look at him, and then said she didn't want him to cancel it on what had just happened. She had been looking forward to it, still was. Just that her moodswings had to play out a mini show for them first. Brendan had to chuckle at that, "Yeah, an' wha' a show it was. We coulda made a bit of money sellin' tickets fer tha' one." He was trying to lighten the mood himself then, and he bent down and kissed her on the cheek, moved to kissing the end of her nose, and then kissed her softly and tenderly on the lips.
After that, Stacey then said she still wanted to go if it was okay, as she wiped at her face. Then she apologised for the moodswing she had put him through. "Yeah we can still go if ya wanna Bambi, migh' be somethin' to cheer ya up. An' ya don' hafta say sorry, ya warned me abou' these, an' I said I'd take the bad with the good, well, think I migh' jus' have proved tha' theory." He then unwrapped his arms from around Stacey and used his hands to help lever himself up off the floor, and then he put his hands out to reach for Stacey's, and once she had taken them, he gently pulled her to her feet.
"Wanna freshen yerself up then? An' then we can get goin', yer obviously still gonna need somethin' to eat, so we can either get somethin' on the way there, or the way home, wha'ever ya wanna do Bambi." He then wrapped his arms around her again, and kissed her again tenderly on the lips and made it linger for a few seconds, before gently pulling away from her, and looking at her with a lot of love in his eyes, which were sparkling, and smiling, showing off those irresistible dimples of his. "I am so in love with ya Anastacia, I hope ya know tha'? An' I always will be." With that, he pulled away from her, "I'll jus' go sit in there till yer ready sweetheart." He then made his way into the bedroom and sat on the bed, they still had about forty five minutes to get to the show, they could do it. Even if they had to get a taxi there, instead of walking, but that would mean they'd have to get something to eat after the show than before it.

Stacey listened to what Brendan said about wondering if it was a good idea to keep the baby. She bit on her bottom lip, thinking as he listened. She didn't want to go through what she just did only moments ago, but knew it was just the part of the journey. Stacey lent into Brendan then. She felt really bad now that he was feeing heartbroken when she had these outburst. "I know we can get through it, and I am sorry that I have made you feel that way. I felt like shit as I sat there, almost yelling at you about the meal, and then felt like shit when I practically ran off and slammed the door, blocking you out of what was happening. It is like now I kind of know what I am going to be like for the next eight months. Or hopefully maybe the baby might come early, so I don't have to continue with these outbursts." Stacey wondered if there was something she can take to make them less like a display, like it was.
She had then gone on to tell him what she had been thinking. Giving him a warm smile, she wanted it to be clear that she was happy. "Yes I am happy Brendan. I wouldn't want it any other way. Well, I would like to stop these moodswings, but can't. And Brendan Harris," Stacey put her hand up to his face, "I am so in love with you also." She then felt him hug her closely to him, and he kissed the top of her head. Stacey murmured, "I am definately going through with it."
Stacey had to let out a bit of a giggle at Brendan's reply to her saying that her moodswing played out a mini show for them. Then she playfully tapped him, not having a lot of energy for an actual slap. She then watched as Brendan kissed her from her cheek, to her nose and then softly on the lips. This is what she had been missing over the last almost half an hour. Brendan's bucket load of loving to her.
She knew that she didn't need to apologise, but felt she had to, because she was the one who had had the outburst. "I know I did warn you about them, but I still felt that I needed to apologise. Maybe it can be the apology for all of them put together for the next eight months. I honestly didn't think that it would be that bad, it did kind of scare me a bit of how I acted over a meal." She knew how she was, but that outburst was just ridiculous in her eyes. Stacey hoped that she could just keep the moodswings to big things, not the little things like food, from now on.
Brendan then unwrapped his arms from around Stacey. He then got up himself, and then she took his hands in her own, and let him lift her up off the bathroom floor. Looking into the mirror, as Brendan asked if she wanted to freshen up, she couldn't believe what a mess she was. Her hair now needed to be done, her face was red, mostly around her eyes. "I do need to fix myself up. I look a mess." Make up was definately in order. "And I still want to go. I shouldn't be too long at getting ready. Will just run a brush through my hair, and then apply make up, and I will be done." When Brendan had mentioned the whole food thing, Stacey's stomach let out a growl. She felt a blush come over her face. "Maybe I am hungry still, but not sure what I can and can't eat. Will just have to see."
Brendan then wrapped his arms around Stacey, and then kissed her again on the lips, letting it linger, which was a nice feeling. He then pulled away from her a little, and told her how much in love he was with her. "I love you so much too Brendan Harris." She watched as Brendan made his way out of the bathroom. Stacey pulled out her make up bag, and fumbled around for all the things she needed.
In ten minutes, Stacey was walking out of the bathroom, feeling a lot better now, and knew that she looked a lot better than she had. Lucky for her, her dress didn't get wrinkled at all, even after sitting on the bathroom floor all that time. Smiling at Brendan, Stacey went, and sat down to put her shoes on, and then grabbed her bag. "Well, I am ready now. Let's go."
