October 29th, 2008
Usutu sat in his room in front of a canvas. Pineheart had told him to paint something. Anything. Usutu raised his headphones and put them on his head. Soon afterwards his eye were concealed in white. He then grabbed his brush as he dipped it in paint. He began to brush the paint onto a picture onto the canvas.
Twenty minutes later the picture was complete. Usutu's eye revealed their true selves once more and took off the headset. Usutu viewed the picture in horror. Someone was to die. The image consisted of a man dead in his own blood upon the floor of an office. A man stood in the door way with a smile upon his face. There was a flag to the right of this man. And upon the door, the letters 'Sen. Wayne O' Neil' were printed.
It was a senator that was going to be killed. Little did Usutu know that this man was running for president. Usutu stood up from his chair and ran for the door. Openning the door, he began to yell. "Help! Help!"

Arthur Petrelli was walking down the halls of Pinehearst. He was just minding his own business when the African that he instructed to paint anything was shouting. "Help, Help" Arthur raised an eye brow and shook his head as he slowly approached the African man.
"What is the matter Usutu?" He asked as he placed his hands in his suite pocket wandering what the man was yelling help, for. Had this man painted something that would disrupt the future or something. He began to wander as he waited a reply from Usutu.

Daphne didn't know why she was here, well she did know why she was here, she worked here, but she hated working here. She seriously had to get another job. On entering the building she heard Usutu screaming for help. She began to wonder what had happened, what he had seen.
Then she saw Arthur. He was the one she didn't like so much. There was something about him, she just didn't like, but since she worked here, she just had to put up with it. Try to do what she was told, and just get on with things.
Walking up to both of them, hands on her hips, standing with her lips pursed together, "So what gives guys? What you seen Usutu?" she asked.

Usutu was thankful for that Arthur approached him. He was scared, he didn't know what he should do. He looked down as he remebered the painting. He shivered in horror. Then Daphne came up and asked what was wrong. Usutu looked back up at Arthur.
"I did what you told me." he said with a chill. "Someone dies." He starred into the old man's eyes. Looking for comfort or a responce.

Arthur looked at Usutu and glanced at Daphne. He didn't like these two very much, but that was the least of his problems. He had to explain why he was alive and hid his death to people. He bit down on his lower lip as he responded to Daphne.
"I asked Usutu to paint a picture of the future, anything" He said in a serious tone as he awaited for Usutu to response. He wondered what he painted. It was always interesting to see what people painted. Especially of the future, which interested Arthur very much. "Someone dies?" He asked as he tilted his head.

Daphne liked Usutu. There was something nice about him. Not everybody working at Pinehearst were bad she realised, but Arthur, there was definitely something she didn't like about him, and she knew the feeling was mutual.
She stood, looking from one to the other, while waiting to find out what Usutu had seen. Daphne just stared at Usutu with wide open eyes when he said someone dies. She began to wonder who that person was. Since Arthur already beat her to that question however, she just stood with her hands on her hips still, looking from one to the other.
"Well that sucks, who ever it is" she responded waiting for Usutu to answer Arthur's question on who it was he'd seen in the painting.

Usutu listened to Arthur as he quickly clarified the problem to Daphne. He smiled towards Daphne. Then Arthur had question the death of someone. "Yes, yes. Come take a look." He led them back to his room. He arms pointing to the painting. "See?!" he said scared out of his wits.

Arthur gave a odd look to Usutu and nodded as he looked at Daphne. "Yes, it does suck for whoever this person is" He said with a slight frown as he watched Usutu motioned for him to take a look at the painting that this African, he wanted for his little army.
He bit his lower lip and followed the African into the room. He looked in amazement at the African's painting. He folded his arms and shook his head as he recognized the person in the picture. It was his own flesh and blood, Gabriel. He shook his head, "Angela was right, he is a murderer" He muttered, "But he is my son" He added "The man who is smiling in the door way on killing O'Neil, is my son, Gabriel or as he is known Sylar" He said with a slight smile. He was proud of his son, for doing something like that.

Daphne smiled back at Usutu, she liked that man, he could become a good friend for her she felt. Usutu said they could come and take a look at the painting. She wasn't sure Arthur had intended for her to see it, but she was damn well going to take a look at it anyway. She looked at Arthur with slight disdain, "Of course it sucks, nobody should have to die, well, unless its natural causes" she said, biting down on her bottom lip slightly.
She followed them through and when she saw the painting, she put her hand up to her mouth in shock. Of course Daphne was in support of Nathan Petrelli but it was still a shock. Then she saw the person by the door, who'd obviously done the deed. Sylar. She hated him.
"That's awful" Daphne began as she tried to take in the shock of the Senator's future death. Then Arthur started talking about Sylar being his son. Daphne was shocked once more. Looking from Arthur to Usutu.
"He's your son?" she asked incredulously. "So that means that he's Nathan and Peter's brother?" she asked, stating the obvious. Then she noticed the sly smile on Arthur's face. "You're happy he's done this?" she asked amazed. "How, can you be happy about someone's death?" she asked confused. It didn't matter to Daphne whether someone was a villain or not, nobody deserved to be killed.

Usutu pointing that picture out, was suddenly curious as what the man, Arthur would say. He was shocked at the calmness of Arthur's responce. It was his son he had killed this senator, or will. It was a terrible thing. This showed Usutu that Arthur was an evil person. Then he looked over at Daphne for her responce. He was glad she had agreed with him. He noticed how she sorta went off on Arthur. Usutu thought this was a bit over the top, so he began to leave the room. This wasn't his place to add anything.

Arthur looked at Daphne and shook his head. How could he be happy, for this? Well, Sylar’s mothers visions were right, that his son would do destruction. It only mentioned one of his sons and not Peter, but it was good to have two sons doing destruction. He bit his lower lip and listened to Daphne and then the African man. Who he was surprised didn’t even put his two cents in.
“Excuse me, but awful? What is so awful about him killing the Senator, that means that if he does kill the Senator and it means Nathan won, and we want that do we? Or do we want O’Neil as president, because to be honest, I can’t stand the bastard” He said with an annoyed tone as he shook his head at Daphne.
He thought that she was on his side. He was wrong to guess that. He hated when people weren’t on his side and he was going to do something about it. Well, not know, but he was going to reflect more on this before he did something to Daphne. He bit his lower lip as he looked at Usutu and then back at Daphne.
“Yes, Sylar is my son” He stated. It was obvious, “Peter and he are twins, and before you judge me on being proud of what he is about to do, he is my favorite, he was the one Angela wanted to kill, so many times, so I took him to a man named Simon Gray and told him to raise him, I was protecting my son from his mother, who wanted to kill him, and isn’t it ironic, that he is now doing the killing?” He said with happy tone.

Daphne noticed how Usutu didn't say anything else, basically kept himself to himself. Keeping himself out of harms way she figured. She should have been bright enough to do the same thing herself, however she wasn't. She couldn't help but open her mouth, instead of biting her tongue and keeping quiet.
Arthur wasn't the person to mess around she thought. Too late now though, she would just have to take what was coming to her, but she had her speed, and if need be, she could make a very quick get away.
Tilting her head to the site, pursing her lips, still in her 'Peter Pan' style pose, she nodded her head slowly, "Yeah, you're right, I do want Nathan to win, but not at the extent of another person's life, because that's just wrong" she said, her toughness coming through. "It would be so much better if Nathan won on his own merits, and because he's the brilliant man we all know he is" she added, praising Nathan. Not because he was Arthur's son, but because she truly respected Nathan Petrelli. Not all the Petrelli's were bad.
She listened to what he said about Sylar being his favourite son, how Angela had tried to kill him, and it being ironic Sylar is doing the killing now. Daphne shook her head, finding it difficult to take it all in.
"Okay, Sylar and Peter twins, both your sons, and it's terrible if his mother tried to kill him, but why does it make it right that Sylar should be killing innocent people now?" she asked, she didn't understand it. It was his mother who tried to kill him as a child, so why would Sylar pray on a lot of innocent people who had nothing to do with what happened to him as a young child. She couldn't get her head around it at all.

Usutu felt the tensions rise between Arthur and Daphne. He once painted his scene. Though he didn't know why this was so important. He knew know why. He painted it to save Daphne from Arthur. He decided that this is where he would begin.
"Petrelli?" he said trying to change the subject. He looked at Arthur and awaited his reply. His ind pacing, he need to make sure what he would say wouldn't harm Daphne nor himself. As he continued to look at Arthur, he grabbed the painting and handed it to him.
"I also need more supplies." he smiled.

“It is a free country, Daphne” Arthur began “What Sylar does as choices is how he wants to be and it’s not my call on what he can and cannot do, it is a fact of life” He said as he folded his arms and looked at Daphne and Usutu. He really didn’t know why he was keeping these two around. He could easily take their powers and be done with it, but he wasn’t going to do that.
He bit his lower lip and sighed, “I will get you those supplies, Usutu” He said in a sarcastic voice.

Daphne put her hands up to her head, she felt like screaming. "Yes it's a free country, but I don't understand how you can be proud of a son who kills, unless of course you like to kill as well" Daphne said looking at him with annoyance in her face, as she once again tilted her head to look at him and pursed her lips.
She really had to leave this place. The soon as she got the perfect opportunity she was out of here. There must be other places she could work for who had better politics than this place she thought.
But for now, she'd try to keep her cool. Being here could still be very interesting at times.
