And School Begins [Open/open posting]

Bruce stood, and the entrance to the Heroes School, honestly, scared. He didn't know what to expect, and what others would think of his abilities, he didn't know what HE would think of others abilities.

All Bruce knew, was that, if Carla showed up, he would be OK. She seemed to keep him calm, she had this way of, making him feel normal.
Although, he had been spending a lot of time around Carla lately, he really wanted to meet some new people, interact with others.

He pulled out of High School to come here, so he hoped it was good.

Bruce wondered what it would be like inside, and if they focused on actual subjects, as well as the control of abilities?

Well, all my questions are about to be answered He thought to himself, and head towards the door, looking around him to see if any others were coming inside aswell.

Rebekah had heard of a school opening up for the gifted heroes. With everything which had happened recently she felt attending this place might be a good idea. Meet other people similar, and hopefully get the darker side of her power under control once and for all.

Everytime she thought back to the day before she felt terrible. Yes it had been in self defence, but she still had killed someone and she shouldn't have done it. Maybe this place would sort her out once and for all.

Entering the building and looking around, it seemed to be a huge place, and very welcoming. She wondered if they would get taught normal lessons or if it was simply for the control of their powers. Taking a quick look around, she saw another young guy looking as if he hadn't long arrived. She walked up to him.

"Hey there, this looks like it could be an interesting place" she said grinning.

Niki was finally glad to have something to do. She had been told with her past problems she was the best candidate for this job. That was to help the young heroes get to grips with their abilities. It seemed it wasn't a regular school, but anybody who felt they could teach normal subject were willing to do so. Niki didn't see the fun in that though.

It was a brilliant place, to bring all the young hereos, so they could find out who their fellow heroes were and find out about each others power. She walked in and took a good look around, the place was huge. It had plenty of rooms and it had a massive bit of land at the back where they had plenty of open spaces to practice their powers.

Walking out of one of the classrooms to the assembly hall, she noticed a couple of kids had arrived already. She hoped she could deal with this. She had to be able to deal with it. It was the first job she had since her days of trying to make money through seedy ways.

"Hi guys, I'm Niki Sanders, and I'm going to be one of the many adults who will be able to point you in the right direction with your abilities" Niki started, smiling at them. "I wont take you further into the school until we see if anybody else arrives today" she added, as she stood there, with her one hand running through her hair, and the other by her side.

Henry didn't like transferring schools. That was a common fact. It was bad enough having to move schools after his parents' divorce. Then after his mother's murder, he had to transfer to a school in New York. Now he once again had to transfer schools. This time it was some new school for kids with powers his brother heard about. Honestly did James really expect him to go to this place? Well apparently he did because the next thing Henry knew, he was pulling up to the school. He felt like screaming.

"James I don't know what gave you the idea of me actually coming here. No, I'm not going to enjoy learning to control my powers, there's nothing to control. I'm perfectly fine the way I am. What do you mean I'm a delinquent?" Henry asked into his cell phone. At the moment he was ready to chuck the thing as far as he could. "No, I don't want to meet other kids with powers." Henry lied. Meeting kids like him was probably the only reason he decided to go.

Walking into the building, cell phone glued to the ear, Henry continued to argue with his brother. "If you're so interested in this place how come you don't enroll. Don't use your age as an excuse, it doesn't count. I mean, can't you get a job here or something....I thought you hated your job at the paper." there was a click on the other end and Henry made a face. "James? James? Man he hung up on me." pocketing his phone, Henry looked up, where he recognized someone amongst the gathering crowd.

"Rebekah?" he said a little too loudly.

Anthony Osborne really didn’t know why he was doing this. He had a job, but yet he wanted to help teach kids to use their powers. It almost felt as if it was Xavier’s Institution for Gifted Youngsters all over again. He bit his lower lip as he entered the place, that was going to be the school. He was only going to teach one subject, help people control their abilities and teach them how to fight, if needed. It was something that he could do and maybe, it would edge out of the hunger. That he had be suffering, for a few days…with.

He watched some of the children crowd the hallway. He wondered if he was the only one here, that was adult. However, he should found out that he wasn’t which was good. He went over to the blond and decided to introduce himself. “So this where the teachers meet?” He asked a bit dumbfounded. He really wasn’t stupid. He just didn’t know where to go too met.

While he awaited the response from the blond he glanced around the area. He folded his arms as he closed his eyes, hoping the hunger wouldn’t consume him. This was probably a bad idea on his part to even come and do this, but he wanted to help people with abilities.

As Derlyn leaned against of his car looking at the school with his arms crossed. Looking at the mirror he stared at Leon. "Don't look at me I care not for this idea. If you want to make yourself blend in then go ahead and do that."[/i] Shaking his head he sighed. Leon has been a problem so he will have to take one problem at a time.

So he decided first that he would deal with his powers then Leon. And Derlyn knew that Leon knew of his plan. Deciding he better hurry this up he began to walk into the school and looked around. Taking out a letter he looked around for his classroom. How lucky. Derlyn actually never went to school before he was home schooled. By a hermit mother. So other things don't come too easy to him.

Finally he found his class as he walked in he saw a few people inside. Yeah him socialization with his peers. Something he isn't at all good at. "This should be fun"[/b] he replied before taking a seat.

Rebekah wondered how many more people would arrive, she began to wonder if James and Henry would come here too. It would be awesome if they did, although she had a feeling if James came, he'd be a distraction for her.

Then she saw an adult approaching her and the other guy who was alread there, and Rebekah just smiled at her, and nodded her head as she spoke. "Hi Niki" Rebekah said, and nodded her head as she spoke about being one of the many adults who would be able to help them.

Then she heard a familiar voice shout her name, she turned round and there he was. Henry, her saviour. She ran toward him and threw her arms around him in a hug, not caring about the teacher and the other one who walked up to her being in the room.

"Hi Henry, it's so good to see you again" she said, squeezing the life out of him.

Niki was glad to see another couple of students arrive, it meant that the school was possibly going to be a good idea after all. It was going to give Niki a purpose in life, and she needed it. With a bit of luck she'd be on her feet soon enough and be able to get Micah back to her.

Niki smiled at the young girl who had said hello to her, and then another adult came walking up to her. She turned to him and smiled. "It's where everybody is meeting for now I believe" Niki replied to him. "Like an assembly until we see how many actually arrive, and then we'll get to it" she continued with a smile, and then noticed another student walk in. She looked at him, and right away she recognised him from the other day in Louisiana.

"Hi Derlyn, good to see you here" Niki said smiling at him, as she watched him sit down in the assembly hall area. Wondering how many more people would arrive, how long they should wait before starting to help the kids.

“Alright” Tony said as he nodded and walked away from where the blond was. He was going to watch the students come in from a far. He wasn’t going to interact with anyone yet, not unless they wanted to interact with him. He liked to be in the corner at these things, he was just a part of his personality and he could care less, if they thought it was odd. This was just who he was and they had to get over it. He leaned against a wall, folding his arms watching the other people come into the school. Hopefully there would be a few more students coming. Because it would seem really dull, if this were to be the only students that came. This would be a waste of time.

Henry was surprised to see Rebekah here. He knew how far California was. Seeing her here was a surprise. A good surprise at that. Although, he did need to breath sometime. He knew she could become intangible, but he didn't know she had super human strength too. "Rebekah Can't breath. Need air." he groaned.

"What are you doing here? I thought you lived in California." he asked her after breaking out of her death grip.

Rebekah realised she had been hugging him a little too tightly, when he moaned about not being able to breath. She pulled out of the hug and blushed slightly. Then laughed. "Sorry Henry, but it's just so good to see you again" she replied, as she took a look around the place again, nobody else yet had arrived. Others would arrive she thought, they had to.

She knew he would question why she was there when she stayed in California. This was because The Company who had organised the school was laying on private jets to bring students to the school who lived out of state.

"I do live in California" she began, and smiled, "Private jet laid on by The Company who started this place" Rebekah said and grinned. "Apparently they've laid on private jets for students who are out of state to get here" she continued and grinning. It really was so good to see Henry here she thought.

Sam had heard of a special school for the gifted kids and he'd thought it was a good idea if she attended. Carla wasn't so sure, but he thought with everything that had been happening lately with the headaches she'd been taking due to her ability that it might be a good idea if she came here and learned how to control everything properly.

She grudgingly had to agree with him, as apparently this was only going to be a once or twice a week thing. Andanybody who didn't live in the area of the school was getting taken there by private jet. It seemed a fair enough thing for her to do. Besides it might give Sam a bit of a break from her.

She wondered if Bruce would be here when she was walking into the building, and her luck was in, as he was the first person she saw. Not having Sam here to keep her in check, she immediately ran toward Bruce and threw her arms around him in a hug from behind.

"Guess who?" she said to him, knowing full well he'd know who it was. Or at least he better had.

School. Special school. School for gifted children. Was that what she was then? Gifted? At least that's what the leaflet said her mom had given her to read. Apparently a new school that The Company had set up for all the young gifted kids to go to and learn more about their abilities. Learn how to use them, control them.

She'd already been sent to Louisiana to stay with relative to help get her growing ability under control, and now her mom was wanting to send her to a special school. She sighed gently. But she thought she had better go.

Apparently it was only for one or two days a week, so hardly your average school. So she didn't think it would do any harm, and decided to turn up anyway. Walking into the building, she saw a few students there already, which was great she thought. It was a good way to meet new people.

Once she began to look around, she saw Henry and he seemed to be with some other girl. She didn't know why, but this was upsetting her. She walked right up to him, right into his face almost, and waved at him as if to say 'hello, its Leona, you remember me right'. Instead of saying this however, she just smiled, "Hi Henry, whose your friend?" she asked and then stood waiting for him to reply.

A girl approached Bruce, and Bruce turned to her. "Hi, I'm Bruce Adams, who are you?" Then she said this place should be interesting. "Yes, it should be fun"

A blond woman started walking over to them, and introduced herself as one of the "adults?"
I guess they don't call themselves teachers here

Another boy walked over, and Rebekah walked over and hugged him. Bruce laughed, and was suddenly blind. A familiar voice came up behind him, and he smiled, and put his hands on hers.
"Miss Universe?" He asked, putting his hands up to hers, pulling them off his face and turning around.

"Hey Carla" He said, pulling her into a hug, and kissing her gently on the mouth.

Another girl came over, and suddenly, counting, Bruce noticed a lot of people around. Bruce wondered if James was going to show up. He wanted him to, and wanted to meet James' new girlfriend.

"Carla, do you know if James is coming"

James didn't know what to expect of the school he had been invited to go to was like. He literally knew nothing about except that it was a school for the "Specially Gifted" and that they wanted teens to go there to improve their powers.

"This is crap" He said to himself. He didn't really want to go the the school. He was everything he wanted to be and more, and he doubted that anyone could show him something better. He moved all the four elements around him feeling his own power.

James let out a sigh and entered the big building in front of him that was the school. His eyes quickly darted over the small crowed that was gathered there. He was looking for Bex.

His heart skipped a beat as he spotted her wrapped around another guy. James felt his body tremble with rage. He kept staring at her wondering, hoping he was seeing things.

He never took his eyes off her as another girl came over two interrupt their little meeting. James startled to feel his anger dropping as he saw that the girl obviously had a close connection with the guy.

James walked over keeping hidden from the small group. When he got behind Bex he sneaked up and wrapped his arms around her waist, giving her a hug from behind.

"Hello, beautiful." He said kissing her cheek, "Who are these nice people?" He said nodding at the guy and girl not far from him.
