Jo listened to what Stefan had to say about him and his brother when they were human. She nodded, but still not fully understanding or imagining it, what with not having any siblings of her own to relate to. Just hearing how Damon turning into a vampire made him a lot more evil, made Jo shake her head slightly, looking down at her hands. "I am sorry that he ended up that way. Also that you had to be the one to try and do something him, despite you being the younger brother." Jo rested a hand on Stefan's own. "I am glad that it was you that found me the way I was and not him. I don't know what would have happened if Damon was the one." Jo shook her head trying to not imagine it at all.
Jo gave Stefan the warmest smile when he said that he could not stand being apart from her. "I totally feel the same way, Stefan." It was an understatement really, but sometimes she had to be apart from him, when it came to work at least. The rest of the time she had to be with him, or it killed her inside.
Jo loved the fact that she trusted Stefan so much. He meant the world to her, and she would never want to lose him ever. Life wouldn't be worth living if he left her, or if he was killed. Just thinking about him being killed made her shudder slightly. Jo never wanted to see either of them hurt. She just wanted them to live a normal life as possible, surrounded by people that they loved, and who loved them back. Unfortunately Damon wouldn't fit that description at all. Jo just rolled her eyes, shaking her head slightly. But she continued to grin a little. "Fine then. I will be young for eternity!" Jo then smiled at Stefan, and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.
Just hearing Stefan calling her 'princess' was a nice thing, but she loved how he always said her full name when he spoke to her. Though Jo always put it down to the century he was actually from, and she loved it even more. Jo had no words for what Stefan said, so all she could get out were two words, as she smiled warmly at him. "Thank you."
Jo instantly moved her head to look at Stefan, wide-eyed and with her mouth open a bit. Did she just hear what he said? "Stefan Winchester. You are very lucky that there are no others present right now. And you are very very lucky that you are driving right now. Or I would just have to do something that might just make us crash. And I don't want that to happen." Jo turned away from him, shaking her head, but smiling so much to herself. "And if I may say so, you don't look so bad yourself without clothes either."
Once Jo had her dress and shoes, and Stefan had his suit, Stefan commented that it was time to head back to get ready for their wedding. Just hearing him say 'their wedding', it made Jo's stomach do flips, and the butterflies started all of a sudden. She hugged into his arm, and looked up at him with the biggest smile on her face. "Let's go." She followed Stefan to the car, and was soon sitting inside the car, and they were soon going in the direction of the hotel.
As Stefan drove, Jo kept looking back at the bag that now held her wedding dress. She was getting nervous and excited all at once, and it was making other things happen, like making her want to go to the toilet. But she knew it was just the nerves talking, and she looked out the window, and closed her eyes for a second. Letting out a small breath, Jo turned to Stefan, and lent her head on the head rest of her seat. "I love you so much Stefan. I can't wait to marry you."

Stefan hated talking about his brother Damon. He hated it because in a way he still loved him, he just hated what he had become. If Damon could stop being such an ass and drink human blood from a blood bank instead of killing then maybe they could both tolerate each other more, maybe he could have asked Damon to stand by his side instead. But after what he had done to his Josephine there was no way Stefan could have Damon standing by his side. Just listening to Jo say she was sorry he ended up that way and the fact he had tried to do something despite being the younger brother Stefan let out a small sigh. “Well, it does not matter Josephine, for I have you and you are all that I need.” When Jo rested her hand on his own he gave it a gentle squeeze. Jo then spoke some more saying she was glad that it was Stefan who found her that day and not Damon. Well that made two of them. “I am glad also Josephine my love. You have no idea. Maybe it will be for the best for us not to talk about him now, I want for this day to be about you.” He had every intention of this being one of the happiest days of Jo’s life, not for it to be brought down by talk of his so called brother.
Stefan did sometimes wonder how he was able to cope with being apart from Jo when they were both at work, and yet he could not give up the job he loved. He had become a paramedic so he could help people, it was a way for him to show his overwhelming compassion to the human race, but since finding Jo all he wanted to do was spend every single moment with her. The only good thing was their bond was so strong that even when they were apart Stefan could feel her presence around him; it was always so strong it was like she was there all the time. He knew Jo would feel the same way with him, or at least she should. It was part of the special bond she would share by being intimate with him.
Stefan had to chuckle slightly when Jo rolled her eyes and said fine she would stay young for eternity. Well she was only saying the truth; she would be young for an eternity. Neither of them would age, they would both remain looking the way they did from now until, well eternity. Unless Stefan was unlucky enough to get staked, but he was careful, and as much as he and Damon were far from the close brothers he wished they could be he knew Damon would never allow for anyone to kill Stefan, just the same as Stefan would never allow for anyone to kill Damon. The only person who would do that, drive a stake through Damon’s heart would be Stefan. Jo had then leaned in and gave him a quick kiss. Stefan let out a slight murmur of appreciation at the kiss.
After Stefan had commented that Jo looked stunning with or without clothes on, he couldn’t help but grin at her response. “I however am very sorry that I am driving, because I know what I would love very much to do right now. Unfortunately we have a tight schedule to keep so it will just have to wait until later, sadly.” He turned to her quickly and gave her the warmest smile which was also filled with deep passion. Jo then continued to talk saying he didn’t look so bad without clothes either. This made him smirk slightly. “Well thank you Josephine Harding.” Oh how he couldn’t wait to call her Josephine Winchester.
Once they had gotten everything they had gone into town for they were soon heading back to the hotel. It was getting closer and closer to the time for the ceremony and Stefan couldn’t wait for the moment when Jo would see Emma. He was so glad he had been able to keep that a surprise from her. He was still amazed she hadn’t picked up on the second bouquet when she was looking at the flowers, but then maybe she just thought they were for the witness who would stand in to sign the marriage certificate. As Stefan continued to drive them back to the hotel he caught Jo turn to him out the corner of his eye and then she spoke. The words made him feel so good. “And I cannot wait to marry you Josephine.”
After about another five minutes Stefan had them back at the hotel, and this time when the doorman approached him Stefan allowed for him to take the car and park it in their private car park after Stefan made sure he got Jo out of the car and all their belongings. They would not be requiring the car until the following morning now. Stefan held his hand out for Jo and began leading the way to their hotel room. Stefan didn’t want to see Jo in her dress until the ceremony which was now only twenty minutes away but the good thing about Emma being here and having a room of her own; it meant Jo could get ready in there allowing for Stefan and Ryan to get ready in the honeymoon suite.
Once he had them both at the room, which he had sort of used his excessive speed slightly, he swiped the lock with the key card and then turned to Jo. “Before we go in, there is something I think I should tell you, it was supposed to be another surprise, but I think you should know because I think that you could maybe use some help getting ready.” Stefan took in a deep breath and then smiled before knocking on the room across from the honeymoon suite. “You can come out now.” The door opened and Emma was standing there with the biggest grin on her face, wearing a pale peach dress with her hair in a French plait with soft curls coming down either side of her face. She was also wearing a floral headband and she started to jump up and down slightly as she then enveloped Jo in a hug. All Stefan could do was watch on with the warmest smile on his face.

Jo turned and gave Stefan a small smile, as he replied more about Damon, and then said that he had her and that was all he needed. She continued to look at Stefan for a few seconds more, then said that she was glad that it was Stefan nor Damon who had found her that day. It seemed that really right then was not the time for talk of Damon, so Jo nodded slightly at what Stefan said then. "Okay. No more talk of Damon. And I like it being about me." She looked out the side window, trying not to smile so much, but it was hard since the day was getting better and better for her.
Jo placed one hand, which had her fingers curled slightly, over her mouth, trying to keep herself from smiling even more at what Stefan then said, after she commented about wanting to do something that was not possible as he was driving. "Fine. I can wait, but can you?" She giggled a little then, and replied that he didn't look so bad without clothes either. Stefan then thanked her, and she turned, smiled a little, then turned away. "Your welcome."
On their way back to the hotel, Jo had said that she couldn't wait to marry him. And Stefan soon replied, pretty much saying what she had just said. Jo turned to face him, resting her head on the back of the car seat. "I have no idea what I have done to deserve you Stefan. But whatever I did, I am glad that I did it." Jo just felt so lucky, even with the changes in her life now. It all seemed to have been leading up to this special moment between them, which hopefully led to many more special moments.
They reached the hotel again, and Jo took Stefan's hand, as they carried their clothes up to the hotel room. Just knowing in maybe an hour they would be husband and wife, was making Jo's heart beat fast. As they walked, she wrapped her free arm around Stefan's arm, hugging into it. Yes, Jo was feeling so happy and nervous al at once, and just wanted the ceremony to come and go, so that they could have the rest of the time to themselves.
Jo noticed that Stefan walked a bit quicker than a normal human, and put it down to him wanting them ready for the ceremony, which she couldn't blame him for. Jo looked around in the hallway of the level they were staying on, as Stefan then swiped the key card to the door, and then he turned and spoke. Jo frowned slightly, not sure what he was going on about. She then watched as Stefan knocked on the door that was opposite the room he had just unlocked.
Jo wasn't sure who to expect, when Stefan told them that they could come out then. "Stefan, who did you...." That was all Jo could get out when she saw Emma standing there, looking beautiful as ever. "Oh my... Emma!!!!" Jo shreaked a little, then joined Emma in the hug that she had started on Jo. She couldn't believe that Stefan had gotten Emma to come all this way for the wedding, but she was glad that he did. Jo pulled away from Emma's embrace, and felt her eyes starting to sting, and then a single tear rolled down her face. "Oh my, how are you? How is the pregnancy going? How is Jackson? I can't believe that you are here." Jo this time pulled Emma into another hug.
Jo then let go, knowing that they had only a short amount of time to get ready. "Sorry. So many questions. We have to get ready I suppose." Jo too the dress from Stefan, and made her way into the room that Emma was in.

Stefan didn’t want Jo’s special day brought down by talk of Damon, so he eventually told Jo it would be best to stop talking about him as the day was supposed to be all about Jo and her happiness. Jo then agreed there would be no more talk about Damon and she liked it being about her. Stefan couldn’t help but let a slow smile spread over his face at those words. He simply replied with one word, “Good.” He knew that Damon would pop his head up again sooner or later, but he was truly hoping it would be later, a lot later.
The conversation was getting a little out of hand between Stefan and Jo and it was taking him all his time, not to stop the car and make love to her in the backseat, but no doubt they would get caught for indecent exposure and not to forget that they would miss the time for the start of the ceremony. Jo then said fine that she could wait but would he. That was a very debatable question; would he be able to wait? Well he had to; they had a time schedule to keep to. He glanced at her, “I will not deny that it will be very difficult, but I shall be able to wait.” He shook his head slightly, as he continued to drive for a second and then keeping one eye on the road he leaned over slightly and almost whispered, “But I can guarantee there will be a very quick exit from the ceremony room to the honeymoon suite.” He raised his eyebrow and then went back to concentrating on his driving.
When Jo said she had no idea what she had done to deserve him but whatever she did she was glad she did it, Stefan smiled warmly at her tingling inside a little. “I feel that it is I who should be saying those words to you Josephine, my love. You put your trust in me Josephine and you captured my heart from the moment I set my eyes on you that night.” The truth was Stefan couldn’t single out any one thing Jo had done to win him over, he had been smitten from the moment he walked up to help her that night. He couldn’t explain it and he didn’t want to explain it, he just knew that it was right. Just like he knew that marrying her today was also the right thing for both of them.
As they got into the hotel again Stefan felt Jo wrap her free arm around his and sort of nudging into him slightly, it felt good, and Stefan couldn’t wait until they said their vows, he just wanted to make her his wife now. He had so many feelings running through him, one of them passion, the natural feeling for a vampire, one of them excitement over the pending nuptials and maybe even a little case of shaky nerves over the pending nuptials. He was never usually bothered with nerves but for some reason the idea of knowing that in less than an hour he would be Jo’s husband it was making him feel nervous.
Once they got to the hotel room Stefan decided that it was the right time to tell Jo about Emma being there to be her bridesmaid. He had wanted for it to be more of an impact surprise when Emma was waiting in the ceremony room for Jo, but figured that given the short time they had left that maybe Jo could do with getting some help getting ready. He saw the slight frown on her face and knew that the sooner he got Emma out the better. Then Jo had begun to ask who he had but she trailed off so he didn’t know what she was going to say. However it would seem Emma being here was just the surprise and icing on the cake Jo needed. She was so happy and it made Stefan feel good.
Once Jo had stopped rattling question after question to Emma, Stefan jumped in and gave Jo a quick kiss, “Have fun getting ready, I shall see you down in the hall soon.” He then gave her a warm smile and went into the honeymoon suite leaving Jo to do her thing with the help of Emma. Stefan had told Ryan to meet him in the ceremony hall at the time of the ceremony. Yes, usually the tradition was the Best Man helped the Groom get ready, but he knew Ryan was a busy young man and he had done enough with organising everything anyway. Stefan took a very quick shower and soon dried off in the heat of the room and began to change into his shirt and tuxedo suit. He looked at the clock and knew that in less than ten minutes Josephine would be walking toward him, and they would soon make their vows to each other.

When Stefan had contacted Emma about the surprise wedding he was arranging for Jo her heart skipped a beat, she thought it was one of the most romantic things she had heard of. Not that her own wedding wasn’t going to be romantic, but the idea of having it all secretly planned for you, it was simply amazing. So when Stefan asked if she would come to Las Vegas as a surprise to be Jo’s bridesmaid she had jumped at the chance. Stefan had given her the money she would need to buy the dress for the ceremony and anything she may have needed. Not that she needed the money to buy the dress, but she had taken it from him anyway. As a gift she had ordered all the flowers they would need for the day, sending them with a note saying she was sorry she couldn’t make it. It would seem that both she and Stefan had done a very good job of keeping it all a secret from Jo.
So when she heard the knock on the door of the hotel room and Stefan’s voice telling her she could come out now, she opened the door in a hurry because she was so happy and was virtually bursting with joy for Jo. She had jumped up and down slightly and then wrapped Jo in a hug. When Jo pulled away from the hug she seemed so happy and definitely surprised to see her there asking her question after question which just made Emma giggle. Emma saw that tear come from Jo’s eye and Emma pointed to it, “You aren’t supposed to be bloody doing that yet. Or actually yes, do it now, then you won’t ruin the make-up I’m going to apply.” Emma laughed again, and then shrieked like a teenage girl just like Jo had done previously and then began to answer Jo’s many questions.
“I’m doing fine thanks Jo and so far the pregnancy is going well. I’m having the weirdest food issues, and a bit over emotional, crying at the stupidest of things, but other than that, everything is going well. Jackson is good too thanks. His music career is going really well although I think he wishes he was there for me more, but I knew what I was getting into when I agreed to marry him and have his child, but I do miss him, I can’t deny it.” Emma was pretty sure she’d covered everything and then Jo pulled her into another hug. Emma then watched with a warm glow as Stefan told Jo to have fun and he would see her soon and then kissed her. Stefan was one handsome man, Emma couldn’t deny it, but then she had her very own handsome man, one she was very much in love with, but Jo had really landed on her feet with Stefan, even if she was bummed at losing out on having a sister-in-law, she saw Jo as a sister anyway and for Emma that would never really change.
When Jo then said she had better get ready Emma giggled again, “Yes, that would be advisable, you don’t want to keep your handsome groom waiting, not too long anyway.” She then marched Jo into the room. “Do you want to go for a quick shower first? If you do I will wait here and get a start on your hair and make-up the soon as you are ready.” Emma already had the make-up and hair styling stuff all laid out on the dressing table just waiting, they only had about twenty minutes really, but if Jo could shower in ten, then Emma could help Jo get the rest done in maybe fifteen, keeping Stefan waiting for about five minutes.
{ooc – Emma’s next post can get them down to the ceremony hall and then Stefan and Jo’s next posts would ideally be the vows etc., leaving a vacant spot for Ryan to do his one off descriptive post and then Emma can do her own descriptive post which can then lead to a new Stefan/Jo thread after if you want?}

Jo was loving the banter between them in the car, but it was appropriate if she was the only free to do anything about it. And Stefan was driving so it would be been dangerous, unless he stopped. But if he had a schedule for them, then it wasn't possible. Jo looked at Stefan when he looked at her. She held in a giggle at what he said. "I will watch out for your self control then, Stefan." Jo went to turn and look around them as Stefan drove, but then heard what he had to say next. She had to listen carefully as he was almost whispering it in her ear, and then a smile crept onto her face, when he said that there would be a quick exit after the ceremony. Jo had to fight the urge to place a hand on his leg, but she turned to him, looking almost seductively. "I would expect nothing less." Justing thinking about it was making her a bit fidgety. But she had to control herself also, it was a must.
Jo looked at him curiously, as he said that he should be saying what she said, in regards to not being sure what she had done to deserve him. Her heart began to melt at the words he expressed, and Jo put her hand to her heart, then touched the necklace that he had given her. "I will always trust you Stefan. And you have no idea what you have done to me. It has all been positive." Jo recalled how she was without him, before that night, and she was just out of it, and depressed over all that had happened to her. He was the one who made it all go away in an instant.
Jo had no idea who Stefan had brought to their wedding as a guest, but seeing that it was Emma, Jo was over the moon, more than she had been. Jo hadn't meant to fire off questions, but they just tumbled out of her. When that tear left her eye, she had to giggle nervously at what Emma then said about it. "Sorry I think all the emotions from the day so far are hitting me all at once. And no, don't want to ruin the make up right this minute."
After Emma answered all the questions that Jo had said in an instant. "That's great and not so great for all the above. We will definately have to talk more, but later maybe." Jo didn't know how much later, as since Stefan wanted to sweep her off after the wedding ceremony. She then looked at Stefan, as he gave her a quick kiss. Jo kissed him back, and then gave him a bright smile. "We will, and I will see you soon." Butterflies started to flutter around in her stomach, thinking that she was soon to be married to Stefan. She took a deep breath, after Stefan left, and gave Emma a smile, saying that she had better get ready. Jo smiled at what Emma said about not wanting to keep her handsome groom waiting, and Emma moved her into the room.
Jo nodded at what Emma said. "Might be a good idea, as it has been a long day. Might be good to freshen up. I will be as quick as I can." Jo grabbed the underwear, that she had grabbed from their room, and headed into the bathroom. She stripped off, and headed into the shower. As she ran the water through her hair, Jo smiled to herself. The whole day felt like one big blur so far, and she hoped that the ceremony would be a bit slower, so that she could take everything in. But she knew that her mind would be racing at a hundred miles an hour, and the butterflies that were still there at that moment, would be there as well. Jo knew she had to calm down, she took a few deep breaths, then continued to have her shower.
Almost ten minutes later, Jo was out of the shower and out in the room with Emma. "I won't get into the dress yet. Make up I suppose is the first thing to do. Then I can put the dress on, then the hair I guess. Whatever you can do with it, but maybe having it up might be good?" Jo didn't know what Emma had with her in the way of hair and make up, but she trusted her with it all, as Jo wasn't one to fuss much with it.

When Jo said she would watch out for his self control he wondered just how long he would be able to keep control of his passionate urges. Damn the tight schedule he had given them, if he had got them to Las Vegas the day before then they might be able to get through to the ceremony without the urges they both obviously had right now. Then he realised he was just trying to kid himself, it wouldn’t make any difference when they had arrived in Las Vegas, he would still be feeling this way now, truth was Stefan never felt any other way around Jo. He couldn’t think of anything to say other than, “Very well.” Then he glanced at her and smiled. When Stefan had then added that he could guarantee a quick exit from the ceremony to the honeymoon suite he had to chuckle a throaty laugh at Jo’s response. “I thought as much Josephine, my love.”
After Stefan had told Jo she had captured his heart that first night they had met he watched her touch the pendant he had given her and then she spoke. Her words brought a smile across his face, although it was unusual for Stefan to do anything other than smile when around Jo. “I am glad to hear that Josephine, my love. I never want for you to have to fear me. I will never be the monster I am supposed to be.” However that was a slight lie, because since he had been drinking the human blood Ryan had been producing for him the inner demon had raised its head a few times, but only in defence mode and usually even then he tried his best not to take a life. However, sometimes when a human was so evil it left him with no choice, because in Stefan’s eyes an evil human who could take another human’s life was no better than the monster which lived deep within Stefan.
Once Stefan had surprised Jo by allowing Emma to come out of her room he could only watch as the girls embraced each other in a hug and then spoke with each other. Stefan managed to say the girls were to have fun and he would see her later and then kissed Jo quickly. Jo had kissed him back and for a few seconds Stefan closed his eyes wishing that it could go further and knowing that at that moment it definitely could not. He had then gone into the room and went for a quick shower and was soon getting changed into his tuxedo suit for the ceremony. He then fixed up his hair and when he felt he was presentable enough and given the time and wanting to be in the ceremony hall before Jo, he walked out of the room and gently closed the door locking it and made his way down to the ceremony hall.
He went right to the front of the many seats, even though none of them would be used, and saw that Ryan was already there. He gave him a smile and patted his back with his hand. “I am still honoured that you agreed to do this for me Ryan.” He then sat down with his hands in his lap and began twiddling his thumbs together as he nervously looked around hoping that Jo wouldn’t have a last minute change of heart and call it off. He didn’t know what he would do if Jo did that to him, he knew his life wouldn’t be worth living even if he did have Ryan as a brother in his life now, his life was nothing without Josephine.

Emma was joking with Jo when she’d told her she shouldn’t be crying yet, but then added that she should do it now so she didn’t ruin the make-up Emma was going to apply in a short while. Jo had then apologised saying the emotions of the day had just hit her all at once. Emma shook her head with a bright smile, “You don’t have to apologise, and goodness knows it’s going to be difficult enough for me not to cry later.” Emma was such an emotional girl at the best of times, so watching her friend get married was sure to set her off. “I just can’t believe you’re getting married before me!!” Emma exclaimed with another small laugh. Emma then answered all of Jo’s questions one by one Jo said that it was great and not so great; Emma knew which parts they were referring to and then Jo said they would have to talk some more later. “Yes we will, although I’m not sure how much later that is going to be, we might have to make arrangements for a girl’s night when you get back home from your honeymoon, I just have this feeling that Stefan isn’t going to let you out of his sight after the ceremony.” Emma giggled after saying that, not that Stefan had told her his plans for after the ceremony, but it was fairly obvious what would be happening, after all who wouldn’t want to spend the day and evening afterward making mad passionate love. Once Stefan and Jo had said their goodbyes, Emma had more or less marched Jo into the room so she could get her ready for the ceremony. Emma had then suggested that Jo might want to go for a quick shower which she agreed to. “Okay Jo, we can afford to be at least five minutes late I reckon.” Emma knew that most registrars always covered for the inevitable delays brides usually always gave. So while Jo was in having a shower Emma just sat by the dressing table thinking of ways to do Jo’s make-up, she figured keeping it light and natural would look best. Jo was pretty enough that she didn’t need heaps of make-up, just enough to enhance the beauty Jo already had. Besides she had a feeling that Stefan would be happy with the minimal amount of make-up. Soon enough Jo was back into the main room and telling Emma that she wouldn’t get into the dress yet allowing for Emma to put the make-up on first and then style the hair last. Emma had asked what kind of style Jo would like her hair in and she basically said anything she could do with it would be good but maybe to wear it up. “That sounds good to me Jo, and I can do that.” So once Jo sat down in the chair Emma began to apply the make-up. She started off with a very light foundation and then a very light coating of face powder to remove the shine from certain areas such as the forehead and cheekbones. Going by Jo’s colouring, Emma went for brown shades for her eyes keeping it light and not thick. She then applied some waterproof clear mascara; it was all down to keeping the make-up minimal. Then she brought out a complimentary lip gloss which blended in with the brown tones of the eyes and brownish red blusher she had applied. “Alright, that’s your make-up done, if you want to get into your dress, I’ll finish up with styling your hair.” Emma waited for Jo to get the dress on and when she had and was sitting back down again, Emma began on the hair. She dried it first, not completely but enough to stop it from being too wet and so it would be easy to style. She then began to use the tongs and bit by bit she curled layers of the hair and then pinned them into place. So Jo’s hair had ended up looking something like this:- Emma had then went into her bag and pulled out a little diamante tiara and placed it in the front of the style she had made, sliding the little combs that were attached into the sides of the hair to keep it in place and then finally she took out a veil she had bought for Jo as another little surprise and wedding gift and placed the comb into the back of Jo’s head just underneath the style, making sure that it was firmly in place. She then stood back and looked at Jo. “You’re stunning Jo, Stefan’s eyes are going to pop out of his head.” Emma then giggled. She had run down to the ceremony hall earlier when she was told the coast was clear and had got their bouquets. She handed one to Jo and held the other. She looked at the clock and they were exactly five minutes late. “Well we’ve kept to the traditional five minute wait, I don’t think we should keep him any longer, do you?” Emma laughed and then opened the door to her room, waiting for Jo to step out, she closed and locked the door and made her way to the ceremony hall. She had Jo there within a couple of minutes and the hired ushers for the ceremony opened the doors for them, and Emma traditionally stood behind Jo, like they do for wedding in the UK, basically Emma knew no different and when the music started up Emma followed behind Jo toward Stefan. {ooc - try to keep the conversation minimal in Jo's next post toward Emma if you can - because I would like the next post Emma does to be mostly descriptive and for it to be her last. Thanks.}

After Jo had said that she would never fear him, Stefan said that he never wanted her to have to fear him. She swallowed a little, when he said that he would never be the monster that he was supposed to be. Jo knew how Damon was, and she never wanted to see Stefan like that, ever. It had scared her enough with having one evil brother in her face. She never wanted to see Stefan like that, just thinking about it was giving her a bad feeling, which she didn't want.
Jo smiled a little, when Emma said that she didn't need to apologise, then nodded when she brought up about it being difficult for her not to cry later. It was going to be an emotional time for all of them, but Jo knew it was going to be worse for her, as she normally didn't get emotional at everything. Only at the most heart wrenching things, which this ceremony would be. Then Jo giggled, then laughed as Emma exclaimed about not believing that she was getting married. Jo grabbed her arms, "I know. I can't believe it either!"
Jo rolled her eyes, and laughed out loud, when Emma said that she wasn't sure how much later it was going to be to chat, and that they would have to make arrangements for a girl's night. Jo then giggled at the last thing she said. "Yes we will have to arrange that, since the day at the spa was so much fun. And, um you might be right with the last thing you said." Jo knew that both of them wouldn't be out of the room till the next day at the earliest.
Soon enough, Jo was in the shower, then almost ten minutes later, she was out, and ready for Emma to do her thing. After general discussion of what was going to happen about the hair and make up, Jo sat in the chair, and let Emma do the make up. Jo trusted her, and knew that she would be happy with the hair and make up in the end. Within about five minutes, Jo's make up was done, and she smiled at herself in the mirror, liking how it turned out. After that, Jo went and got into her dress, then sat back down again for Emma to do her hair.
Jo watched as Emma worked on the hair, and then had to smile at the finishing touch she gave it. The next thing that Emma brought out, made Jo smile all the more. She didn't even think about a veil, but the one that Emma was adding was a nice touch. Once it was all done, Jo slowly stood up, and turned to Emma, who replied to how she looked. "Thanks. But really, I should be thanking you for all that you have just done. I don't think it would have turned out as beautiful as this, if I had done my own hair and make up." Jo gave Emma a huge hug, then she was handed a bouquet, one of the ones she had seen previously.
Jo was then told that she had kept Stefan waiting five minutes, but she shouldn't keep him waiting any longer. She shook her head slightly. "No. He might think that I have stood him up, or something, which I would never do." Jo stepped through the door that Emma was holding open, and headed down to the room that she had been shown with Stefan that afternoon. The butterflies were driving her crazy, but it was detering her from not going ahead with marrying Stefan. Once there were at the closed doors, the ushers opened the doors, and for one second, Jo turned back to Emma, and smiled. "This is it." She turned back, and began to walk towards Stefan.
All Jo could do was smile, and continue to look at Stefan, as she headed towards him. Beside Stefan was Ryan, the guy who had helped her with gaining an ability, after she lost her other ability, which had been strength. Soon enough she was there, standing next to Stefan. The place that she hoped she would always be standing in.

As Stefan sat in the ceremony hall beside Ryan he kept looking at the clock, even for a vampire Stefan knew that brides were ‘traditionally late’, but he hoped Jo wouldn’t keep him waiting too long if she was going to do the whole traditional thing as he wasn’t sure if he could take it. He didn’t think Jo would change her mind and run out on him, but over positive thoughts could sometimes be a bad thing as well, so he didn’t want to take it for granted that Jo would definitely go through with it. He realised how much it was getting to him when he must have looked at the clock for about the tenth time and it showed the same time. He then began to run his hands through his hair hoping that he wasn’t messing it up too much but he just needed to do something. The next time he looked at the clock it told him that Jo was now around five minutes late, and just when he thought that maybe she had cut and run on him after all the registrar gave Stefan a nod of the head like she said she would do when his bride had entered the back of the hall. So Stefan stood up then and quickly turned back and saw how stunningly beautiful his Josephine looked. The dress Jo had bought was gorgeous and it really suited her, and Emma had done wonders with her hair. She looked like a princess coming toward him, but then Stefan thought no less of Jo anyway, she was a princess, and she was his princess. He couldn’t stop smiling as she walked toward him locking his eyes with her own. When she reached his side he immediately leaned over into her ear, “You look radiant Josephine, my love.” He then turned to face the registrar again who began to speak. “We are here today to join together Josephine Beth Harding and Stefan Vincent Winchester in wedded bliss. If anybody here present knows of any reason why these two cannot be lawfully joined together should say so now or forever hold their peace.” The registrar took a quick look around at Emma and Ryan to see if they would say anything which naturally and thankfully they did not. Then the registrar continued. She then looked at Jo, “Josephine if you would just like to give your bouquet to your bridesmaid to hold for you just now.” Once Jo had passed her bouquet to Emma, the registrar continued, holding out a small cushion which had both the matching wedding rings on it. “Stefan if you would like to go first, take the ring and place it on Josephine’s finger as you say what you would like to say to her.” Stefan took the ring from the cushion and placed it on the wedding finger on Jo’s left hand, and began to slip it down her finger. “Josephine, I give you this ring as a token of my undying love for you. From the moment I set my eyes on you I knew we were meant to be together. You blew me away and put your trust in me and I will never forget that. You are my life Josephine, you make me a better man. You complete me. I love you with all that I am, and all that I have I will share with you for now, for eternity.” The registrar smiled and then looked to Jo, “And now it is your turn Josephine, if you pick up the other ring and place it on Stefan’s finger as you say what you would like to say to him.” Once Jo had put the ring onto Stefan’s finger and said her own words to him, the registrar smiled once more. “With the giving and receiving of rings and the special words you have vowed to each other and the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.” Stefan didn’t waste a single moment as he leaned in and put his arm around Jo’s back so that he tilted her downward and then he bent down with her and kissed her deeply for a few seconds and then gently stood up bringing her with him. The registrar spoke once more, “If you would just like to come over to the table here and sign the marriage certificate you can make it all legal.” Stefan smiled brightly and followed the registrar to the table and signed his name first and then waited for Jo to do the same thing. “Now your witnesses have to sign.” Once Emma and Ryan had signed the marriage certificate also the music began to play again in order to signal the end of the ceremony. Stefan turned to Ryan and shook his hand, “Thank you for everything you have done for us today Ryan, I shall not forget it.” Stefan and Jo were now ready to look forward to the rest of their lives together. {ooc - aiming for this to be Stefan's last post in this thread - once Jo posts - Emma will post her descriptive post and then Rocky can finish it if he wants with Ryan's descriptive post.}

Jo smiled all the way towards Stefan, seeing his own smile on his face. The butterflies were starting to die down a little, but were still there. Once she was beside Stefan, he whispered in her ear that she looked radiant. When he pulled away to look at the registrar, she gently squeezed his hand in acknowledgement. Jo then turned to look at the registrar also, wanting to remember ever single moment as much as she can.
When they began to speak, Jo listened, then when it came time to ask if there was anyone who basically didn't want them together, they were to speak there and then. Jo glanced sideways at Emma, then Ryan, but of cause nothing was said. The registrar asked then if Jo could give her bouquet to Emma to hold, which she turned and did, giving her a smile at the same time. Jo turned back to see a pillow with two rings on it, and this made her feel the emotions start inside. It was soon Stefan's turn first to give her the ring, and she held out her left hand for Stefan to put the ring on. He then began to say his vows. This was the time when she felt a couple of tears start to sting in her eyes, just hearing the words he was saying to her. When he was finished, Jo wiped a tear from her eyes, and nervously laughed a little.
Then the registrar said that it was Jo's turn. She picked up the ring off the pillow, and she began to place it on Stefan's left hand. "Stefan, I give you this ring as a token of my undying love for you. When we met, you helped me so much, you have no idea how much that was until we really connected. I love you more than life itself, and without you I am incomplete. I will love you for the rest of our life together..." Jo wiped a tear away, and continued to finish. "... and will cherish every moment that we share."
Jo smiled at Stefan throught the tears stinging her eyes, and then the registrar spoke again, finishing off the ceremoney. She smiled at the sound of them saying 'husband and wife', it sounded nice. Though it seemed that Stefan didn't wait a moment later to kiss her, and she embraced the moment with all her heart. Jo kissed Stefan back. Once she was upright again, she sighed a little, loving that now they were finally married.
The registrar then gestured for them to come over and sign the marriage certificate. Stefan signed it first, then Jo leant over and signed it. As Emma and Ryan did the same, Jo wrapped one arm around Stefan's waist, feeling the butterflies totally gone now. Once all of them had signed the certificate, Jo turned and smiled at Ryan, as Stefan shook his hand, thanking him. She then turned to Emma, and gave her the biggest hug. "Thanks for coming, and adding your own touches to the ceremony. I loved what you did with my hair and make up." Jo pulled away, and just continued to smile, knowing that she was going to now start her new life with Stefan as his wife, forever.

Emma had to giggle when Jo grabbed her arms saying she couldn’t believe it either in reply to her comment about Jo getting married. In a way Emma was upset that Jo wasn’t marrying her brother, because she would have loved Jo to be her sister-in-law, but to Emma, Jo was like a sister anyway so it didn’t make much difference. Maybe Emma could adopt Jo as her sister, then she mentally slapped herself for thinking something so stupid, not like that could happen, could it? When they spoke about making arrangements to catch up because Emma was pretty sure they wouldn’t get the time after the ceremony Jo had giggled and then agreed with what Emma had said adding that they would have to sort something. “I bloody agree Jo, you’ll need to make sure you contact me the minute you get home.” Emma’s voice was filled with happiness as she said that, knowing that the next time she spoke to Jo she would be a married woman. Jo had then gone into the shower and when she was ready Emma set to work fixing up her make-up and then her hair after Jo got her dress on. The finishing touches Emma had added to Jo’s look made her look every inch the stunning bride and Emma told her so. Jo had then thanked Emma and then added she should be thanking her for everything she had done. Emma just shook her head, “Its fine Jo, I was glad to help. I wouldn’t have missed your special day for anything in the world.” Jo had then given Emma a hug which she returned before handing Jo her bouquet. Emma had then joked about having kept Stefan waiting long enough. “I don’t think Stefan would think that Jo, you two are a match made in heaven you were meant to be together.” Emma knew what Stefan was, but she could see how compassionate he was and how committed to Jo he was and that was enough for her to like Stefan.
Soon enough Jo was standing beside Stefan as they got ready to enter the next part of their lives together. The exchange between them both made Emma’s emotions begin to kick in as a couple of tears began to fill her eyes, and they hadn’t even begun to say their vows yet. The registrar asked if there was any reason why they could not be married, she gave Jo a smile as she looked around, naturally neither she nor Ryan who was standing beside Stefan were going to say anything. Jo then handed Emma her bouquet so she could get the ring put on her finger from Stefan. The tears in Emma’s eyes began to fall when she saw the rings on the little pillow and then as Stefan put the ring on Jo’s finger and began to his vows, Emma put her hand up to her chest, the words were so sweet, and it made her think if her wedding to Jackson would be as magical as the one she was currently witnessing. Soon enough it was Jo’s turn to put the ring on Stefan’s finger and say her vows. Again Emma put her hand up to her chest and sighed gently, and then even more tears began to fall, they just seemed so happy together. Then the registrar pronounced them as husband and wife and Stefan could kiss the bride. Emma sighed again with the kiss Stefan gave Jo, it was one of those really old fashioned style kisses. It was amazing she thought. It then came time to sign the marriage certificate which Stefan did first and then followed by Jo. It was then the turn of the witnesses so Emma signed first and then allowed Ryan in to do the same thing. It was all over, and Emma had thankfully stopped crying, she watched as Stefan shook Ryan’s hand and thanked him for everything and then she was enveloped in a hug by Jo. She thanked her for coming and adding her own touches to the ceremony saying she loved what she had done with her hair and make-up. Emma hugged Jo back naturally, “You’re welcome Jo, and just glad you liked what I did.” Emma then went to the seat and picked up her camera. “Now we have to have some memories of this day.” She then began to take some photographs of the happy couple together, and soon handed the camera to the registrar to take some group shots and some of her and Jo together and Ryan and Stefan together. The whole time the pictures were being taken there was a song playing in the background, and as Emma listened to the words, she couldn’t help but think that it was Jo and Stefan’s theme song. The song playing was It’s Your Love by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
