20th December 2009 Tyler was having an okay day. It was a sunday, and he knew that he was going to have to go and help his dad later on, but he felt he needed some time to himself. At least his biological dad knew what he was going through all the time. It was hard enough to deal with eveyday life, without dealing what he was. Tyler never cursed what he was, well not all the time. He had a good group of friends who knew him for what he was, but not always what he was all about. Tyler stopped at the beach at the end of the main road, and walked over to the hill that slightly slopped down towards the beach. He sat down, and leaned back on his hands, taking in the view. There were many clouds in the sky, but not enough for it to rain. There were some people on the beach, some with their families, some with their significant other. Tyler closed his eyes for a short time, taking in the fresh air. How was it that everyone down there didn't seem to have a care in the world, and he had to have the world on his shoulders? It just wasn't fair. After a few minutes, Tyler slowly got up, and decided to go for a walk along the beach. He was aware of the time, so knew he had a good couple of hours. Tyler walked down the slight incline, and headed towards the waters edge, where he saw that the water was a lot calmer today. He slowly walked along, allowing the water to flow over his feet, feeling the coolness of it, along with the cool breeze coming in as well. Tyler pulled his hoodie around him, and the hood over his head. He wasn't that cold, as the wolf inside him constantly kept him warm, but still he did occassionally feel the weather, so had to somehow fit in with the rest of the people. There wasn't anyone in the water, all sitting on the beach, just enjoying each other company. Tyler looked away, not being able to remember the last time he had actually gone to the beach with his parents.

It was five days to Christmas and Tammy was feeling a little low, it was always the same at this time of year and during her birthday. You see when Tammy was born it wasn’t the happy day it should have been because Tammy’s mom died during childbirth leaving her father and older sister Leandra to raise her. Tammy adored her father Anthony and her sister, but she always felt as if she was to blame for never having met her mother, because if her mother hadn’t fallen pregnant with her, then she wouldn’t have died. Tammy hated feeling like this, but it always happened, every year since she was old enough she felt this way.
She never spoke to father or sister about it, feeling they had enough to deal with; instead she would keep them to herself but take a walk on the beach near to where they stayed. The beach was never usually that busy; where it was situated it was always quite quiet and fairly secluded. Needless to say the beach was where Tammy ended up again today. She had already gone for a walk along the water’s edge until she reached her old faithful rock. It was her thinking post. She soon climbed up onto it, and sat with her arms folded across her knees hugging them to her as she looked out at the scene.
She knew what her mom looked liked as her father often told her Leandra was the double of her mom, that sometimes just made it all the more hard for Tammy to deal with, because she’d look at her sister and sometimes was so tempted to call her mom because she had raised her and looked so much like her as she found for herself when looking through photograph albums. Glancing to the side she could see quite a few people on the beach, not busy like a normal beach, but enough talking among themselves, Tammy looked out at the water again and sighed, then quickly brushed away the tear which was beginning to fall from her left eye, she wished she knew her mom, and she really wished she hadn’t died the day she was born, then she might actually be able to enjoy her life.

{ooc - now I couldn't remember if they were bf and gf already, and nothing in Tammy's app, so I just presumed that they were just meeting now. } Tyler crossed his arms in front of himself, and continued to walk, soon heading towards the rocks that lined the farther end of the beach. They started off low, small ones at first, then they soon grew in size as they got higher, connecting to the cliff. As he continued to walk, he felt that he was leaving the larger group of people on the beach, and came face to face with only a scattering of people. It was only to be expected, as the beach moved onward, it was moving away from any roads, so sometimes this part of the beach was deserted. He looked out towards the water, then slowly glanced in front of him, and soon noticed someone sitting on one of the bigger rocks. It seemed to Tyler that this person was wanting to be alone, but in some ways, he could feel what she was feeling. Maybe it was due to him being connected to the others in the wolf pack, that made it so that he was somehow in tune with others emotions. Tyler felt that he should go and see if this person was okay. He was sure to feel that they wanted to be alone if they told him to go away. Tyler got up close then, and saw that this person was indeed upset about something, and he gently placed his hand on their arm. "Hey. Are you okay?" Tyler gave her a warm, reassuring smile, and then wondered if they would tell him to basically go away, or maybe they were just after someone who would listen.

{ooc - yeah I thought it might have nicer impact for the two of them if they were to just meet - but maybe they could have one of these like pow - instant connection/love thing going on - we haven't had that for a while lol } Tammy really hadn’t meant to get herself so upset, but it was always the same, the lead up to Christmas and the day of her birthday, thoughts of the mom she never knew always went through her mind. She just wanted a normal life but that wasn’t possible because she wasn’t even normal, she had this ability which could allow her to become the personality and skills of another person. It freaked her out the first time it happened to her and she begun to act differently. It wasn’t long after she spoke to her father he told her she may be what was known as an Evolved Human and then went into an explanation about it all. She didn’t want to be an Evolved Human, she didn’t want to be different, she just wanted to be a young woman who had a mom she could love and who would love her back. She was so deep into her thoughts and so busy trying to keep back the tears which were constantly threatening to fall she hardly noticed the figure that approached her until she felt them touch her arm with their hand. She immediately looked up, and when she saw the handsome chiselled features of the young man looking at her, she blinked a couple of times rapidly before messily wiping at her eyes. She then found it a struggle to gather her words together, “I..I..I...” Damn she thought, and then swallowed hard, “I’m fine.” Who was she trying to kid? She looked back up the face which seemed to be so kind and began to shake her head as she finally gave into the fight and the tears began to fall freely. “No, I’m not alright.” Now she was going to look like a complete fool she thought, sitting on a rock crying your eyes out at a complete stranger. After crying heavily for about a minute, she tried to compose herself, and then coughed a couple of times to clear her throat, she moved over on the rock and patted the now empty space beside her for him to hopefully sit. Maybe pouring it all out to a stranger wouldn’t be such a bad thing, someone neutral to the whole situation she could just drop it onto without feeling guilty. “I’m sorry, it’s just a bad time of year for me, sometimes I allow myself to think too much and it can hurt.” Maybe he wouldn’t want to hear her sad tale, but then he had gone to the bother of asking if she was alright, well she had broken the ice of what her problem was, if he was interested in her story he was bound to ask her to carry on if she wanted.

After Tyler had gone over to see if she was okay, he watched her look up quickly, blinking a couple of times. She looked so sad to him, and Tyler wondered why she was so upset. Her pretty blue eyes were gleaming with tears, and Tyler has this urge to just wrap her in his arms, despite the fact that he didn't know her, let alone know her name. When she spoke, saying that she was fine, Tyler knew that she wasn't, and just looked at her, not wanting to judge her at all, so didn't shake or nod his head in anyway. She then looked back at him, and spoke saying that she wasn't alright, and Tyler saw those tears fall.
He just stood there like a complete idiot, watching this poor girl crying her eyes out. Tyler looked around, kind of nervously, and then back at her. He wondered why she was so sad, what with her looking quite attractive. Tyler hadn't had any girls since that time when he was in high school, and it felt like his heart might just lay dormant due to his ability. But now, being with this girl for only a few moments, Tyler could tell that she was indeed in need of some taking care of, and he wondered if he would be able to help in that department.
Tyler put his hands into his pockets of his hoodie, and soon heard her cough a couple of times. He let out a small sigh, and then watched her move over, and suggesting that he sit next to her. Tyler thought to himself, what do I have to lose. So he slowly moved to the spot, turning and sitting beside her. Tyler placed his hands on his knees, not knowing where to put them, even though he wanted to comfort her. She then spoke to him, and he nodded slightly. Tyler hoped that he might be able to help somewhat, but being a guy didn't know where to start.
"Well if you need to talk, I will listen, okay?" He then smacked his head mentally, intro's first you idiot, he thought. Tyler slowly extended his hand towards her. "Name's Tyler." He hoped to hear her name to see if it matched her pretty face.

Tammy had told the guy she was fine, an obvious lie and then she couldn’t pretend anymore and shook her head saying she wasn’t fine and begun to cry heavily. When she had looked up at him he looked as if he was a kind hearted soul and part of her wanted to just stand up and wrap her arms around him, which scared her because he was after all, a complete stranger. Eventually Tammy managed to compose herself and after coughing a couple of times she moved over on the rock and patted the empty space beside her for him to sit down if he wanted to. She felt a small smile come over her lips when she saw him sitting down next to her. Tammy then said it was a bad time of year for her and she sometimes let herself think too much and it could hurt. She watched him nod his head in acknowledgment.
The guy then said if she wanted to talk he would listen. She looked at him and gave him a weak smile, talking to this complete stranger might just be what she needs. “It might actually help me to talk to you about it, someone who isn’t close to the situation.” She nodded her head, but she was still very deeply upset about it all. Then the guy held his hand out and introduced himself as Tyler. Tammy gave him a warmer smile through her tears, “Nice name you have, I think it suits you. I’m Tamara, but people call me Tammy.” She then shook his offered hand and finding his skin so soft for a guy and very warm; it made her want to keep his hand in hers.
Realising she had probably held his hand for longer than necessary she let it go, “Nice to meet you Tyler, just sorry you aren’t meeting me when I’m in less of a mess.” She swallowed a couple of times, she had to stop the tears if she was going to talk, besides she didn’t want to be a blubbering mess all the time in front of this rather handsome young man, he was sure to have better things to do with his time than watch a distressed female try to talk through countless sobs. She then went back to what he said earlier, saying if she wanted to talk he would listen. Should she start to tell him what her story was? Would she be able to even tell him without beginning to cry again? Only time will tell she figured.
“So, you really want to know what’s wrong with me.” She said, and sighed gently, as she wiped at her eyes again. “I blame myself for my mom’s death.” Alright so there was more to it than just that, but that was the main thing which always prayed on the young girl’s mind, her mother died giving birth to her, which child in that situation wouldn’t grow up thinking it was their fault? If her mother hadn’t gotten pregnant with her, then she would still be alive today, but what Tammy would forget to realise was if that was the case then she wouldn’t be in the world today either.

Tyler wasn't sure if the young woman would actually say what was wrong, or just brush it off. But he should have known better to think a female would brush off their feelings. Tyler nodded in acklowledgement of what she said then, "Okay. Well I am all ears." He gave her a small smile, but a warm one. Tyler had then extended his hand to introduce himself, and heard the young woman comment on his name. All he could do was smile then, but found some words. "Thanks. Credit to my mum I guess." Tyler then heard her name, and had to look at her, seeing that it suited her also. She took his hand, and he slowly shook her hand back. "Well, if I may say so, you name is one that suits you too. Beautiful name."
Tyler soon realised that he never spoke like that, but looking at Tammy, she definately had a beautiful name to match that beautiful face. He had no idea what name she would have, but he knew it was someting special, and Tamara sounded rather nice for her. The feel of her own hand in his seemed to fit so well also, and he soon did notice that Tammy was holding his hand for a long time. Maybe it is because it is so warm, thought Tyler. Sometimes it was a good thing, having the warm blood running through you all the time, but sometimes people questioned it, and around this time of year, it was sometimes.
Tammy soon let go of his hand, and said it was nice to meet him, and added about the circumstances. "Hey, it's okay. Maybe I was meant to be the one who was to come over and listen and help you." Again with the talk. Tyler's mouth felt like it was running away with him. What was this girl doing to him? Whatever it was, it was kind of nice also, as he never really cared for anyone outside of the immediate family. When Tammy basically questioned whether he really wanted to listen about what was wrong Tyler again nodded. "Yes," he said in a calm and quiet voice, looking right at her.
Tyler shifted slightly on the rock, ready to listen to what Tammy had to say. He was kind of saddened to here what she had to say to him. It was only a few words, and he then frowned a little, wondering why she felt that way, or thought like that. What could Tyler say to what she just said. He searched for the right words to reply, but just couldn't find the right one. Tyler then took her hand, and just looked at her. "I want to say that you shouldn't, but I don't know the full story. If you feel up to it, maybe you can tell me it from the beginning. Only if you are okay with tell me."

When Tammy had said it might actually help to talk to someone neutral to her situation the guy had said that he was all ears, she couldn’t help but smile at him then, even if she was still in tears. “Thanks.” He had then taken that moment to introduce himself extending his hand. Naturally Tammy took it and gave her own name in return after telling him he had a nice name. When he spoke he thanked her adding that it was credit to his mom he guessed. “I guess our parents do tend to be the credit for our names. I have my dad to thank for mine.” It was a wonder she was even able to say that much. Even Tyler talking about his mom getting credit for his name made her smart slightly. She just wished she had known her mom, then again, maybe if she had and then lost her, she would be in a worse state than she was now.
Tyler then spoke again saying her name suited her also and that her name was beautiful. She felt her cheeks flush slightly then. “Thank you Tyler.” Then again she didn’t know if the flush she was feeling was from the nice things he had just said, or from the fact he had caught her at probably one of her lowest moments, either way, she could tell already that he was a nice guy and one she could hopefully get to know well and really like. It was almost as if she had a connection with him right away, seeing how she had held onto his hand for longer than necessary.
Once Tammy had let go of his hand and apologised about the circumstances, Tyler said it was okay and added that maybe he was meant to be the one to come over and help her. She then looked at him and gave him another watery weak smile, knowing that there did seem to be this connection, “Well may I say that I am glad that you were the one to come over and ask if I was okay.” Tammy had then asked him if he really wanted to hear what was wrong with her, and he nodded his head saying yes. So she came right out with the immediate problem, which was she felt she caused her mom’s death. However, there was more to it than that, which she was working up the courage to elaborate on when Tyler spoke some more.
“Well there is more to it; I was just trying to build up to it.” She gave him a sad smile and then swallowed, “My mom died giving birth to me, and I never met her, nor got to know her. There’s quite a big age gap between me and my older sister, and she sort of helped my dad to raise me. So my sister Leandra is like my mom, but she isn’t. I’m really close to both her and my dad, but sometimes when I’m by myself and have time to think, I realise how much I miss that I never had a mom and I can’t help thinking that if she had never fallen pregnant with me, then she’d still be here now.” Even Tammy knew how ridiculous it was to say that, because she knew if her mom hadn’t fallen pregnant then she wouldn’t be in the world either. However, Tammy’s sadness over blaming herself for not having her mom in her life always took over the fact she wouldn’t exist otherwise.

Tyler gave her a smile, when Tamara commented about her dad having the credit for her own names. He leaned in a bit, and smiled warmly at her, "Well I have a feeling he is a smart man." Tyler moved away slightly, to give her her personal space. He didn't want to scare her off before he got to know why she was so upset. Tyler noticed Tamara's cheeks go slightly red, but he didn't comment on it. He normally didn't lay out the compliments much, what with having no one to really put them on, but Tamara seemed to need one.
Tyler gave her a small smile, when she seemed to agree that she was glad that he did come over to her. After Tamara spoke, saying that there was more to what she had just said, Tyler nodded, listening to what she had to say. He listened to every single word she said, and just wanted to just wrap her in his arms, and try and make her forget it all. Tyler hated to see girls so upset, sometimes unsure what to do or say. But he felt that he was able to comfort Tamara somehow, even if it was with his words.
After Tamara spoke, Tyler looked down at his hands. Now what to say to all that she had just said to him. He slowly looked at Tamara, his heart going out to her so much. "I am sorry that your mum died. But you shouldn't blame yourself. If she hadn't of had you, we would have never met." He looked out towards the water, sighing a little. "And you wouldn't have been able to tell me what you are really feeling about it all." Tyler turned to look into her beautiful eyes, searching for a sign that what he had said was okay.
He looked down at his hands then, and then said the next thing that had popped into his head. "And I am sure that your sister cares for you, so I don't think that she would really mind you thinking of her like that. Like your mum." Tyler than moved his hand over to her own, and just rested it there.

After Tammy had said her dad was the one to give credit to for her name she saw Tyler move into her with a warm smile and then said her dad was a smart man. This made Tammy feel a little happier and she smiled back at him, even if the smile was still through the tears. She coughed to clear her throat of the lump which was sitting there currently before she spoke again. “Thanks, I guess they liked exotic names what with my sister being called Leandra.” Alright so maybe exotic wasn’t quite the right word to explain their names, but they were certainly unusual and different and well, nice. Tammy actually liked her name; she never really bothered if people called her Tamara or Tammy, where as some people hated their full name.
Tammy had then told Tyler her story about why she blamed herself for her mom’s death, even though a part of her knew it was ridiculous, it was just a thought she found difficult to get out of her head most of the time. She then watched as he looked down at his hands and then back up at her and then came the words that everybody usually told her. She shouldn’t blame herself and if her mom hadn’t have had her; she wouldn’t be there to tell him how she felt about it all. She nodded her head slowly, and then gave him another watery smile. “Everyone says that, and in many ways I know it’s true, but it’s just something I find very difficult to get out of my head, especially when I have time to think, and it would seem I always have time to think.” The reason Tammy always had time to think was because she didn’t have that much of an exciting life. Her dad was busy with his job as a high profile bank manager and her sister was busy with her modelling career now.
Tyler then spoke again saying that he was sure her sister cares for her and that she wouldn’t mind Tammy thinking of her like that. Tammy actually knew that Lea didn’t mind her thinking of her like a mom, but she still couldn’t call her that, because, well because she wasn’t her mom and Tammy liked having a sister. Lea was stunning, it was no wonder she was a model, although Lea had often said Tammy could have been a model herself, but she really wasn’t interested in getting in front of the camera, not to the extent that Lea did at any rate. “I know she doesn’t mind, but I like her being my sister as well, we can go out together, it’s great.” Tammy gave Tyler a brighter smile this time as the tears seemed to have come to a halt. Tyler then moved his hand to rest over her own and without thinking because Tammy liked the feel of his hand in her own, she felt herself moving her hand so that she was actually holding his and interlocked their fingers together.
“Thank you for coming over to talk to me Tyler, usually people just leave me alone because they think that’s what I need, but it’s not, the more time I have on my own and think about things, the worse I become.”

Tyler nodded as Tamara spoke more about her name, and then her sister's name. He had never hear that name, but he had heard of the name Tamara, and he had meant it when he said it definately suited her. "Well wherever the names came from, I can see they were the right ones to be had." Tyler looked right at Tamara, "Especially the name that you were given by your dad." He then smile a little, hoping that she might be a bit more happier now then how she had been.
Tyler just looked and listened more as she spoke, and heard her say that what he had just said, everyone had said to her. So maybe it wasn't the right thing to say then, Tyler thought. He put a hand on her arm, "Well time for thinking is good, but you need to maybe think about other things. Maybe concentrate on things that make you happy. Interests maybe?" Tyler had no idea what those were, but whatever she liked doing, she should maybe concentrate on those, to give her less time to think about her mum.
Tyler nodded as Tamara replied to what he said. He noticed that the tears were slowing, and maybe stopping now, and after he had put his hand over her own, Tyler soon felt Tamara interlock her her fingers in his own. He glanced down at them now holding hands, which actually felt nice. "Well I don't have any actual siblings, only a step-brother. But I still love him like he is my own. So maybe I do understand, even though I am the eldest in my situation." After this he gave her hand a gentle squeeze.
"Well I am glad that I came over. Hardly walk this beach, and maybe today was the day I was meant to somehow." Removing his hands gently from her own, Tyler placed his arm around her shoulders, and gestured for her to come closer, so that he could comfort her a bit more.

As they continued to speak about Tammy’s name and Tyler said that he could see they were the right names to be had, she felt herself blush ever so slightly when he looked into her eyes and added especially the name she was given by her dad. “Thanks Tyler, I’ve always liked my name, although I’m mostly called Tammy, but I do like Tamara also.” Tyler was such a nice guy, well from what she could tell anyway, seeing as they had only just met. But he seemed to be saying all the right things so far and he was just coming over as a really nice gentle person. Not that Tammy usually took instant dislikes to anybody, but she could feel something with Tyler she had never felt before with anybody when she’d met them, an instant connection.
She felt his hand on her arm, and it made her sigh gently, the touch felt so good, and then he spoke saying that thinking was good but maybe she should start thinking about happier things, interests. He did make a good point; it’s just that she felt she needed someone around to help give her happier things to think about. “Well I do like stargazing, I’m an astrologer for The Chronicle newspaper and I like to read and paint. Besides those, I like being at the beach, so I’m already doing one of those, I guess I just forgot to pick up my artists gear. The thing is Tyler; I’ve just not really had anybody to help give me happier things to think about.” She wasn’t referring to her father or her sister, they were around enough, she was referring to a boyfriend. Not that she hadn’t had a few in the past; it had just been a good few months since she had anybody special in her life. She looked deep into his eyes; for some reason she could see him being the person to maybe help give her some happier thoughts.
When Tyler had taken Tammy’s hand she had interlocked their fingers together, it just felt so natural and so nice and she saw him looking down at their hands together. She did the same thing and then looked back up at him, her tears had now stopped and all she could do was search his face, his handsome face. She just wanted to be close to him and yet she was wondering if it was crazy to be thinking like that so soon. Tyler then spoke saying he didn’t have any actual siblings other than a step brother but he loved him as a sibling anyway and that maybe he understood even if he was the older in his situation. She felt him give her hand a gentle squeeze and she just gave him a warm smile. “It’s nice to know you can understand.”
Tammy had then thanked Tyler for coming over and she couldn’t help but smile more brightly when he responded more so at the last couple of words he said. “Like fate? I was just sort of thinking the same thing myself. It’s almost as if we were meant to meet today, if it hadn’t been this, it may have been something else. Does that sound silly to you?” Maybe it would sound silly to Tyler, maybe she was thinking like this because of her fascination with stargazing and astrology, but for some reason everything just seemed to fit together so well with the both of them. She then felt him moving his hand from her own, and she wondered if she had said something wrong, but then she felt his arm around her shoulders and he gestured for her to move a bit closer. She didn’t need to be told twice, she moved along and rested her head on his shoulder, it just felt so nice and then she sighed gently. Her free hand then went to rest on his chest; it was as if it was on automatic pilot. She could feel his warmth, then realising where her hand was she went to move it and began to stammer slightly, “I...uhm... I’m sorry.”

Tyler nodded at her comment on her name. "Well then, I hope you don't mind me calling you Tammy or even Tam sometimes. Not much to my name shortened down. Ty I get sometimes from friends." Tyler smiled at Tamara, and just loved how it was so easy to talk to her.
After Tyler suggested that maybe she should think about happier things, like interests, Tamara seemed to get what he meant, as she told him what she was interested in. He nodded at her, when she mentioned what she did for work. So it seemed that she like all that sort of stuff, that Tyler sometimes brushed off. Sure he looked at the sky sometimes, and did always love how the stars were bright, and all that, but really he was never much into ready the astrology stuff in the papers. When she mentioned that she was doing one of the things that she liked doing already, Tyler gave her a smile.
He continued to listen to her, and his heart went out to her when she said that she hadn't had anybody to help give her happier things to think about. "I'm sure that you have friends that do that? At least one best friend?" Tyler had a couple of friends, but he sort of understand where she was coming from. "I guess I can relate. You are surrounded by people, but you still feel alone." He hung his head slightly.
After they had interlocked their fingers, as they held hands for the first time, Tyler had spoken about having a step brother, who he loved very much. He had given her hand a gentle squeeze, and she replied to what he said. All he could do was grin at her for a few seconds.
Tyler still wasn't sure what to call it, but whatever it was, being with Tamara seemed just right. Ever since finding out that he had this ability to turn into a wolf, he had kept his distance from most people, mainly the female kind. But he was feeling so sure about what he wanted to happen between him and Tamara, even if they had only just met, it just felt right and real. Just hearing what she had to say to what he said, made him shrug a little. "Maybe. And no, it doesn't sound silly. Maybe it is fate." Tyler then had let go of her hand, and moved his arm around her, and smile a little when Tamara rested her head on his shoulder.
Now the pieces were fitting in place for Tyler. Just the feel of Tamara now resting on his shoulder was nice and familiar. He heard the sigh come from Tamara, then her hand came up onto his chest, resting there. Tyler looked down at it her delicate hand just resting there. He continued to look at it, when it suddenly moved away. Tyler frowned a little, when Tamara started to apologise. He moved around to face her. "Hey, nothing to apologise for. It was nothing. Actually it felt good, I won't deny that."
In order to bypass the moment that apparently made Tamara a bit uneasy, Tyler decided to suggest something. "Do you want to go for a walk. I know of this great place at the end of the beach. And if you had your art stuff with you, it would have been the perfect setting. But I am sure that we can find someting to use to still capture the moment."

Tammy loved how her name had caused such a lengthy conversation between them and when Tyler commented about calling her Tammy or Tam she shook her head and smiled, “I don’t mind if you want to call me Tammy or Tam, I sometimes forget to answer if people use my full name now.” She laughed a little then, it actually felt good to laugh and she realised how much she missed it. Tyler then spoke about his own name and how you couldn’t really shorten it much other than to Ty. “Well I like your name Tyler, but I may just be tempted to call you Ty from time to time.” She replied giving him a genuine warm smile.
Tammy hadn’t meant to make him feel sorry for her when she’d spoken of not having anybody to help give her happy thoughts to think of, she had just been expressing the truth. Tyler then asked about friends, she shook her head slightly. “I have work colleagues, they’re great, but I don’t really socialise with them and other than dad and Leandra, I don’t really have any friends.” It was actually quite a sad thing for Tammy to have to admit, but she didn’t. She usually just spent her time with her dad, her sister, outside painting or reading. It was definitely the reason why she thought about things so much, if she had friends to do other things with then maybe she wouldn’t have the time to sit and think about the past all the time.
When Tyler then said he could relate and said you are surrounded by people but still feel alone, she looked at him giving him a sad smile, “That’s exactly how I feel most of the time.” She noticed him hanging his head slightly, “Do you feel like that sometimes?” She asked him, they seemed to have clicked and she began to wonder if that was the reason why, that maybe in some way they were kindred spirits so to speak. She felt like she had known Tyler all her life, it was the strangest feeling and yet she wasn’t scared by it at all.
Going on the way she had been feeling she began to talk to Tyler about it being fate that he was the one who came over to talk to her, like they were destined to meet. She was glad when he said it didn’t sound silly and that maybe it was fate. “Well I think its fate.” Her voice was soft, and that’s when Tyler had put his arm around her holding her close to him. That had made Tammy rest her head on his shoulder. It felt so natural and good to sit there with Tyler like that. She sighed gently and soon her hand was resting on his chest. Then as if she suddenly realised what she was doing she moved her hand away quickly and apologised. He then said there was nothing to apologise for and it felt good.
She sat up then and looked at him, her face really close to his, “It felt nice to me too, I was just scared in case you know, I scared you away.” She sighed gently, giving him a weak smile before speaking some more, “I don’t know what’s happening, but since you came to talk to me, I’ve just felt this, I can’t explain it really, spark or something, I...” She trailed off and with her face so close to his now, her eyes searching his face from left to right, she suddenly did something she never thought she would do, and that was to make the first move as she kissed him. It was just a gentle kiss and she didn’t make it linger. She then looked up at him, “I guess I just wanted to know what it would feel like, I liked it.” She smiled a little brightly at him after she has kissed him.
Tyler then spoke about going for a walk and mentioned a place where she could have used her art stuff if she’d brought it with her, however she hadn’t. “A walk would be nice, but I don’t have my art stuff with me, but like you said, I am sure we will capture it somehow, even if it just memories.” She began to get up from the rock she had been sitting on and waited for Tyler to do the same thing so he could lead her to where he was talking about.

Tyler listened to what Tammy said about her name, and seemed to understand about not replying to her full name, forgetting sometimes. He then spoke about his name, how 'Ty' was the only name you could shorten his name down to. He smiled back at Tammy, when she said that she might just be tempted to call him Ty from time to time. "I wouldn't mind if you did. And I totally get what you mean about not answering people when they say your full name."
Tyler listened to what she said about having work colleagues, but not really socialising with them. And then she added that other than her dad and sister, she didn't really have any friends. Tyler found that hard to believe, because of the vibe he was getting off of Tammy. She seemed sweet, genuine, and really you can't find that that much these days in people. But he definately knew how she felt. He was part of the main pack in the tribe, but really not all of them knew him for him. He then had mentioned about being surrounded by people, but still feeling alone, and she said that was exactly how she felt sometimes. Then she had asked him if he felt like that sometimes. Tyler swallowed a little, and nodded. "I am part of this p... group of people where I live, and they are great, and I get along with a couple of the guys, but yeah, I guess I do feel like that sometimes."
Tyler looked at Tammy as she softly said that she thought it was fate, that they met. When he had put his arm around her, Tammy rested her head on his shoulder. That brief moment was a great feeling to Tyler. Just holding Tammy felt like he had been doing it forever. It came natural. When she had then apologised for placing her hand on his chest, he told her that there was no need to apologise, and that it felt good. Tammy replied saying that it felt nice to her too, but she was just scared in case she scared him away. He returned her small smile with one of his own. "There is no need to scare me away. Nothing you have done has done that at all. I ain't going anywhere."
Then Tammy said that she didn't know what was happening, and that since he came to talk to her, she felt this spark or something. Tyler looked at Tammy, and knew that they were so close now, that one of them was surely going to do something to bridge the gap. He saw her looking at his face, and then she was the one to close the gap and kiss him. He slowly closed his eyes, allowing her to kiss him. Then she pulled away, and spoke after the kiss. He gave her a sidewards smile, as she spoke, then she smiled back at him. "I liked it too." Tyler then lent in, placing a hand on the side of her face, and gently kissed her for a couple of seconds, soon pulling away. "Yes, it was definately something I could get used to."
After the kiss, Tyler had suggested that they go for a walk to the end of the beach, where he knew of a place that would have been good to pain. He smiled warmly at her, when she said the walk would be nice, and that she was sure that they would capture the moment, even if it was just memories. "Sounds good to me." As he got up, he held out his hand for Tammy to take, then he lead her towards the end of the beach.
Tyler looked around: at the water, out at the sand where people, families and friends sat, played and talked. He paddled a bit in the water, but making sure he didn't go too far in as he didn't like going out into the water. But he was sure that he would have to explain that to Tammy later. They soon reached the end of the beach, and he gestured her to come with him to the right , where the rock face curved in a bit to allow a small area of sand to come in more, where it was more protected from the wind and other elements. Also it was a bit more private, still getting a nice view of the ocean. Tyler sat down on the beach, and gestured for Tammy to do the same. Once she was with him, Tyler turned to her. "So what do you think? Might be a nice spot for a sunrise or a sunset, don't you think?"
