Saturday, 9th January, 2010 “Ah, home, sweet home.” Dom said out loud to nobody in particular when he stepped out of the airport in Laughlin, Nevada. He had been in Canada for too long and he wasn’t amused. Dom hated the cold and Canada had the cold and snow by the bucket load. He had moved to Canada to record his second album after winning American Idol in 2008 and had become an international star almost overnight. He hadn’t wanted to move to Canada, but it was under his manager Xander Ford’s instructions as he and his family were moving back to where they called home. Of course being gay and very much feministic he had done nothing but complain about the fact it would be cold and not good for his complexion. Xander just told him to suck it up. His daughter Tonya hadn’t moved with the family though and it didn’t take long for Xander to miss his daughter, and decided he was moving back to Las Vegas. Dom’s home town had been the neighbouring State of Laughlin and he couldn’t be happier to be back home in a much warmer climate. He had to put his sunglasses on, something he had forgotten what felt like being on. Of course Dom had kept his house in Laughlin, as he had no intention in staying in Canada forever anyway, so he had a home to go back to. No sooner did he step out of the airport to get a taxi than he was swamped with a few fans. They were jumping up and down and laughing and clapping and Dom started to laugh and clap his hands too. “Hi girls, you have to know how good it is to be back home. Oh how I missed the sun.” He said as he looked up to the glorious yellow ball in the sky. They were all asking for his autograph. “One at a time please, ladies, how many hands to you think I have?” He asked as he started to laugh and began signing their many autograph books. One of them approached him and lifted up her top for him to sign her breast. “You do know that I’m gay sugar?” He asked, and she laughed, “Yeah, course I know, I don’t care, you’re gorgeous, just sign it anyway, and then sign my bra, so I can keep it forever.” Dom laughed out loud and shook his head, “Why thank you sugar for saying I’m gorgeous.” They then brought out their camera’s and asked for pictures to be taken with him. Once he had obliged and they all began to leave Dom quickly made his way to a taxi to get into the town center before he was swamped again. To be fair Dominic didn’t really mind the attention, he was gay and he loved being with people and talking, women especially, they were such good gossip queens. He remembered one friend from his school days, Stacey Potter, she was awesome. It made him wonder what she was doing with her life these days. Soon enough he was in a taxi and heading for the city center. He couldn’t wait to get back to what he classed as his normal life; just being at home was a good way to it being normal. About half an hour later the taxi pulled up outside the shopping complex in Laughlin city center and Dom had the driver paid and was stepping out into the wonderful place he called home. He looked around a few times and knew the one place he just had to go. Coia’s Cafe, they did the most wonderful vanilla ice cream which he had been missing for months now. He went to the take-out counter and ordered himself the biggest tub of vanilla ice cream and asked for plenty of raspberry sauce over it and then picked up a plastic spoon and headed out of the door tucking into the tub, and not really watching where he was going when he felt himself gently bump into someone. He looked up and when he saw who it was, he almost choked on his mouthful of ice cream. He moved his sunglasses up onto the top of his head and just looked at her, “Well, well, look who it is.” Then he saw that she was pregnant and he immediately put his hand up to his mouth, “Oh My God Stace, you’re pregnant. Can I be Auntie Dom, oh please say I can?”

Stacey had managed to keep out of trouble, after that last false alarm about a month ago now. David kept a close eye on her, and even more so now that she was living with him. Sometimes she would sigh if he said that he was coming, but really he was only doing what he thought was best. She never wanted to be in hospital again, what with being in there three times, twice being false alarms, and once when she had no idea what was happening. So now with being eight months pregnant, Stacey knew that she had to take things easy, but she also knew she needed to do things still for herself.
So this was the day when she decided to go for a short walk, out in the fresh air. Stacey had grabbed her phone, of cause, and her purse, and decided to just take it easy. She slowly moved down the street, and soon found herself around the shops a couple of streets away. Stacey looked through the windows, but nothing was really standing out for her, and she continued on. She then saw the sign for a shop that looked like sold ice cream. Well, Stacey thought, I haven't had ice cream since last night, might as well get some.
She began to head in the direction of the entrance, when a body came out of nowhere. Stacey was about to say to them sorry, if it was her fault, and then gasped at who it was. Dominic took off his sunglasses, commented on who it was he was looking at. She smiled at him, "Hey Dom. Long time no see." Stacey frowned a little, when he put his hand up to his mouth. But then she smiled, and giggled, as he spoke, remembering how he was back when she knew him. This is why she was friends with him. He always said the most funniest things, and sometimes got rather excited, which was even more fun.
Stacey rubbed a little at her rather large stomache now, "Yes I am." She put a hand on his arm then, "And I can't see why you can't." Stacey then leaned in for a hug, "How have you been? I see that your album did well here in the States." She then let go of him, smiling all the more. Stacey then eyed off the undercover seats in the front of the shop. "Do you mind if we go sit? I just want to get some ice cream first."

After Dom had bumped into Stacey gently and then exclaimed about whom it was, he broke out into a huge grin when she replied saying it had been a long time. Dom lifted his hand up with it bent down at the wrist and replied, “It’s been too long sister.” He had then put his hand up to his mouth and made a comment in shock exclamation about the fact Stacey was pregnant and then asked if he could be Auntie Dom. Well, technically he would be Uncle Dom, actually he wouldn’t be anything to the baby, but that was beside the point, but with Dom being so open about his sexuality he never thought anything of it to call himself Auntie Dom.
Stacey then replied confirming that she was pregnant and he soon felt her hand on his arm, as she then said she didn’t see why he couldn’t be Auntie Dom. Dominic grinned at Stacey then and put his tub of ice cream onto the nearest table to free up his hands and then he clapped his hands together as he jumped up and down a little, all excited, “Oh My God Stace, I can’t wait, your child will be the most spoiled child in all of Laughlin, I guarantee it, starting right this minute.” Dom said, as he pulled out his cheque book from his inside pocket and wrote out a cheque for two thousand dollars before signing it and handing it over to Stacey. “For anything you may still need to get for the baby, and don’t you even think about saying no sister.” Dominic said as he waved his hand slightly, he knew what Stacey was like with her independent streak, but he wasn’t backing down on this one, he had plenty of money.
Stacey then leaned in for a hug, and Dominic hugged her back as much as he could without squashing her, and then he flamboyantly kissed her on each cheek. “I swear to God Stace, no matter how busy this pretty boy gets, I want you to promise me we will not lose touch again?” He asked as he gave her a gentle nudge and grinned at her again as he looked at her stomach, still not believing that she was pregnant. Stacey then asked how he had been and mentioned about his album doing well in the States. He smiled at her, “Yeah the album is doing wonderful thanks, it’s been number one for weeks, working on the second album now actually.” Dom then sighed and rolled his eyes, and flapped his hands up and down, “But as for how I’ve been, ugh, you wouldn’t believe it, I’ve had the worst couple of months. Tell me Stace, how’s my complexion looking? I’m a little worried about it you see.”
Stacey then asked if he minded if they went to sit. He shook his head excitedly, “Hell no sister, sure I don’t mind, but let me get the ice cream for you, just you sit yourself down.” Dom said as he gently guided her to one of the tables and pulling the seat out for her and physically sitting her down into the seat, fussing over her. “I’ll be right back.” He then went to the counter and realised he didn’t ask what flavour she wanted, he pivoted round on the spot, putting his hand to his head, “Oh God, I’m such a stupid bitch, what flavour would you like?” Once Stacey replied he turned back to the counter and after a couple of minutes he was back with the ice cream for her and a new tub for himself, since he left the other one outside and it would be all melting now.
He sat down opposite her, “I guess my past couple of months haven’t been as eventful as yours, I mean I’m not the heavily pregnant one.” He said and laughed out loud, and then continued with, “I’ve been working on my new album in Canada, Canada of all places. It’s a lovely country but it’s so damned cold, it’s not good for my complexion, are you sure my complexion is alright?” He asked again as he touched his face with his free hand. Just then his phone began to ring, he sighed and rolled his eyes, “Can a guy not get some fun time with a friend?” He asked out in a complaint as he answered his phone. It was his manager Xander Ford.
Dominic: You have got to be kidding me Xan, I’ve just arrived back and having a catch up with a dear friend. Xander: I ain’ kiddin’ ya Pretty Boy, gotta get workin’ on this new album. Dominic: I’m not coming in today, no way. I just got back and I am not leaving my friend. Xander: Fine then, yer such a girl ya know tha’ Dominic? Dominic: I know, that’s why I’m a bitch, I would call you one for asking me to work the soon as I got back, but we both know I’m the biggest bitch.
With that Dominic closed his phone and put it back into his pocket. “God Stace, sometimes being famous isn’t that great, you just don’t get a minute.” He said as he flicked his fringe away from his eyes, “So, where were we?” He asked and then took some of his ice cream before he continued, “Oh yeah, you were just about to tell me how your past few months have been.”

Stacey acknowledged that Dom could be Aunty to the baby, and watched as he put his ice cream down, and get all excited over the fact. She smiled, then started to giggle at what he said. "I think it already is, as..." But that was all she got out, as Dom began to write out a cheque. He spoke, as he handed it to her, and Stacey's eyes almost popped out of her head at the amount he was giving her. She looked at him, feeling tears appear in her eyes. "I don't know..." Stacey then smiled a bit, wiping the tears from her eyes, knowing that she wouldn't win the argument at all. "Thanks Dom. Sorry these hormones are doing me in big time lately." Stacey then slowly put the cheque in her bag, knowing that even with what she was getting in for her small pieces for the paper, and what David brought in, it would still come in handy.
Stacey then smiled as Dom commented on not wanting to lose touch again with her. "I promise. Here is my number, okay?" She pulled out a piece of paper, and wrote down her number, then decided to give him David's also, just in case. "Oh and here is David's mobile number also. He is my fiancee." She smiled at Dom, waiting for him to get all excited over that fact as well. Well it was exciting news, even though it had happened about a month ago now. But she couldn't wait to tell him the story behind that one. Stacey caught Dom looking at her stomache, which made her smile a bit. She was kind of waiting for him to cop a feel like so many people asked to do when she was out. Not many people did, mainly the older people.
Dom then replied to what she said about his album doing well. Stacey nodded at the mention of him making a second album. "That's great Dom, can't wait to hear it. I did buy your first cd, it was fantastic. Not my normal style of music, but definately something to get you up and moving." She frowned a little at the sound he made, and the way he started to act, then gave him a sympathic smile, as he continued to speak. "Sorry to hear that Dom. And your complexion is fine, Dom." He looked great in her eyes.
When Stacey asked if he minded if they sat down, and his answer made her feel relieved. "Thanks." She allowed him to guide her over to the tables, and had to giggle a little when he physically sat her down into the chair that he had pulled out. As he said he would be right back, Stacey was about to tell him what ice cream she wanted. But maybe he remembered from school, thought Stacey, though it was a long time ago. Though it seems that Dom hadn't, but that was okay, as he came back and asked her what flavour of ice cream she wanted. Stacey giggled a little, "Chocolate, thanks Dom. The bigger the better. I have been craving it ever since the beginning of the pregnancy, even though I liked it before." Soon Dom had gone to get it for her, and had come back with hers, and then another for himself. "Thanks." She then began to get a spoonful, placing it into her mouth. Stacey never cared what time of day it was, she had to have ice cream, along with Coke.
Dom began to talk, and the first thing he said, made her laugh a little, "Well yes." Stacey knew that she had so much to tell him, but she would have to condense it down into a small bit. Though it wouldn't really matter, as Dom would want to hear all the details. She listened to what he had to say about what he had been up to, and Stacey put her hand on his own, "I have never been there. And again your complexion is fine." She gave him a reassuring smile. "You look really good Dom." His phone went off then, and Stacey sat back, shaking her head a little, grinning at what he said.
Stacey sat back to continue to eat more of her ice cream, not wanting to listen in on what Dom was talking about. But really, when he was talking on the phone about anything, it was not hard to not listen at all. Hearing the last thing he said to whoever it was, made her giggle quietly, almost choking on her ice cream. Stacey watched as he closed his phone, and put it away. She then listened to what he had to say about being famous, and nodded a little. "Then I am glad that it is you not me then."
Dom then asked where they were, and then commented that she was about to tell him about how her past few months have been. Stacey put her ice cream on the table, and began to fiddle with the spoon handle. "Well, not sure where to start, but might as well start from when this little one was conceived I guess." She sighed, knowing it was going to be a long, long story, but she hadn't told it since she had those sessions with David, and now he was going to be part of the story now, which was going to be a happy ending.
"Well, after university and such, I just went around the country, not really settling down anywhere, or going back to my parents. I was kind of ashamed of how I had acted. Back in May last year, I met up with this guy who I had kind of befriended on and off during college, and we had a one night stand. Then two weeks after that, I met this guy, by the name of Brendan Harris, he is the co-editor or whatever of The Chronicle. I am glad that I met him that night as my drink was spiked with a drug. It was something that produced a power or ability or something inside you. What with me being human, I had no idea what was happening, but Brendan was there with me through it all. He ended up finding the guy that had spiked my drink. It was the guy who I had the one night stand with, Jake Hanniger."
Stacey took a deep breath, and continued to speak. "Anyway, Jake was put behind bars. And I got close to Brendan, loving him even. So a month went by, and he took me to Paris, and proposed to me. I was so happy, but on the way there, and during our time there, I had been getting sick. At first I put it down to maybe not being good with flying, but soon found out that I was pregnant. I wasn't sure at first if I wanted it, but finally after thinking I did. So Brendan and I both thought the baby was his. Though when it came time for me to have an ultrasound about three months on after that day, it was found out that I was four months pregnant. So it soon came to light that the baby wasn't Brendan's, and that it was Jake's. Things blew up, and Brendan kicked me out. I don't really blame him for my mistake, though I did love him very much." Stacey took another deep breath, then decided to finish off the story.
"So after this I was feeling really down, lonely, and I wasn't looking after myself at all. But six weeks after that fact, I decided to go see a therapist, after some encouragement. David, the one I gave you the number of, is the therapist that I saw. Our first session was eventful, but not a good time for me. I spent a month in therapy with him, and then after that he spoke of his feelings for me. I soon realised that I had feelings for him too. And the rest of it just flowed on from that. We are now engaged, and I am now living with him. This little one is due in about a months time, and I am scared and excited over it all." Stacey then smiled at Dom, feeling all the emotions of all she had said to him. "Sorry it was long. I was going to break it all down in short, but felt that it all had to be said."

When Dom said Stacey’s child would be the most spoiled child in all of Laughlin he had been referring to spoiling the baby himself, not by others. Stacey had begun to agree with him and then trailed off when she had seen Dom write out the cheque for two thousand dollars, which he had then handed over to her telling her she wasn’t to even think about saying no knowing what Stacey was like. He saw the tears beginning to form in her eyes, “Hell no Stace, don’t you dare start that, you’ll set me off, and you’ll make my eyeliner run.” He said rolling his eyes and grinning, and then she spoke saying she didn’t know, referring to the cheque he was handing her. He put his hand up, “Nope, not hearing it sister.” She finally accepted the cheque and thanked him, then apologised about the tears blaming it on hormones. “It’s alright Stace, no need to apologise; hormones can be a blessing and a curse.” Dom was so happy for Stacey, but it did make him feel broody, he wanted to be a father, and he didn’t care if he had to adopt, but he would rather have a partner in his life, so the child had two stable parents and not just one. When Dom said he didn’t want to lose touch with her again, Stacey replied promising, and then wrote her number down on a piece of paper. He grinned and was just about to speak when Stacey added about giving him David’s number too and that he was her fiancé. Dom’s mouth fell open, how could he have missed the ring on her finger. He grabbed for her hand, his eyes open wide, and once more put a hand up to his mouth, “Oh My God Stace, pregnant and engaged, you’ve been one busy lady. Let me see that ring.” He said as he peered at it, “The ring is gorgeous Stace. I love it. Oh god, my best friend is growing up; I’ll be left on the shelf at this rate.” Dom said and began to laugh out loud. He then took the piece of paper from Stacey with both numbers and took out his phone and began to type each one in and save it. “There we go, all safe in my phone. Now I’ll give you mine, watch this.” He said as he began to type out a text message to Stacey and then sent it. The text said:- Auntie Dom is here to stay xoxox “You will now have my number.” Dom said and began to wonder what Stacey would think about what he had said to her. Dom had then looked at her stomach still finding it real cool that she was pregnant, and on top of that she was engaged. He hadn’t meant to look for so long, but just knowing life was growing in there, it was amazing. He didn’t want to just touch her stomach, her arm and hand maybe, but he felt touching her stomach without warning wasn’t the right thing to do. “Stace, if the baby ever kicks when you’re in my company, could I feel it please? I’ve always wondered what that would feel like.” Dom couldn’t keep the grin off his face, it was so good being with his friend again, he had someone he could go shopping with again now, well maybe not right now, but when she had given birth. Dom was a bit of a fashion guru as well as a singer, he was always giving tips on what to wear and what not to wear to anybody who would listen, not that they usually did. When the conversation topic went to his music, he had told Stacey he was already working on his second album. He had to smile when she said she had bought his first CD, saying it was fantastic, and that it wasn’t her usual type of music but it was definitely something to get you moving. He grinned, “Ah, so you bought my first CD then, thank you so much sugar I’m glad you like it.” He sighed gently and then continued, “I might dedicate one of the new songs to your baby, release it as a single and all monies made from it will go to the baby. Do you know if you’re having a boy or a girl yet?” Dom asked, not that it would make a difference to him, he was just curious. He had a funny feeling Stacey would say not to give the monies made from the single to the baby, but if she was savvy enough and he knew she was, she would know not to even try arguing the point with him, Dom was a bitch in the nicest way naturally but he always won. Dom had then went off on a slight tangent about having the worst couple of months and asked how his complexion was looking as he was worried about it. Stacey said she was sorry to hear about his bad couple of months and that his complexion was fine. He put his hand up to his face and touched it, “Cold weather doesn’t do it any good that’s why I was asking, thanks.” He gave her a bright smile but inside he was still worried about how his complexion and skin looked. He knew for a fact he would go home and get a face pack put on and then moisturise it deeply. Stacey had then asked to sit down which Dom had no objection to and then more or less guided her to the seat and sitting her down in it, fussing over her. He then went to the counter to order the ice cream and then realising he had forgotten to ask what flavour she would have wanted, he had smacked his head with his hand and then called himself a stupid bitch and asked what flavour she wanted. Stacey giggled a little which made Dom laugh out too, and then she told him chocolate and the bigger the better. “You got it sugar.” A couple of minutes later he was back at the table with two massive tubs of ice cream, chocolate for Stacey and another raspberry covered vanilla one for himself. Stacey thanked him, “No problem sister.” Dom had then began to talk saying he guessed his past couple of months hadn’t been as eventful as hers, and she had agreed saying ‘well yes’ which made Dom laugh a little. He then went on to tell her about being in Canada and had commented on his complexion once more. Stacey said she hadn’t been to Canada and again said his complexion was fine. “You would like Canada I think, it’s just damned cold.” He saw that reassuring smile of hers and he sighed gently, “Alright then, I believe you.” He would never think Stacey would lie to him, but he still knew he would do the whole face pack and moisturiser routine later that night. Dom’s mobile had then rang and moaned about who it was saying he couldn’t get a break which made Stacey shake her head and grin at him. He grinned back at her, and then began to talk. He noticed Stacey giggle quietly at the last thing he had said and it made him roll his eyes and grin at her and then said being famous wasn’t always that great and he gave her a weak smile as he curled his top lip slightly when she said she was glad that it was him and not her. He had then asked where they were and then after taking a mouthful of ice cream he commented that Stacey was about to tell him about her past few months. So Dominic lifted up his tub of ice cream and sat back in his chair eating his ice cream as he listened to Stacey pour her heart out to him. He noticed that she had been through heaps of shit, but he didn’t dare jump in once, just letting her get it all out, and he would nod his head in several places or put his hand up to his mouth and gasp at anything he felt was shocking. When it seemed Stacey had finished telling him everything, his heart went out to her. She truly had the most shocking few months, sort of blew his moans about Canada out of the water. “Oh God Stace, what a terrible time you’ve had sugar, I wish I could have been there when it all went to shit for you, I could have been your come to girl, I’d have made it all better. But hey look at you now though, engaged to be married and to someone who sounds like he’s an absolute dream, you’re very lucky. I so want to be able to settle down, and I want a kid, I don’t care if me and my partner have to adopt. I’d make a cool daddy don’t you think?” He asked Stacey, still thinking what she had gone through was terrible. “And hey, you don’t have to say sorry, I was happy to listen, I’m just sorry I couldn’t have done more to help at the time.” Just then a girl came walking into the cafe and Dom’s eyes nearly popped out of his head at what she was wearing. She had on purple leggings with this really small skirt in yellow, Dom hated being horrible, but really she didn’t have the legs to wear leggings, and you don’t wear leggings with a skirt, it’s just wrong. He leaned over the table and sighed, rolling his eyes, “Fashion disaster at nine o’clock.” He said, as he then approached the girl, putting his hand on her shoulder and turning her round to face him, “No, no, no sugar, you have it all wrong. You shouldn’t wear leggings like that, and especially not with a skirt, and definitely not with the colour, it’s all wrong. Your top is just perfect, but you should either have a longer a-lined skirt on or a pair of loose leg trousers. Purple leggings with a yellow mini skirt is a big no sugar.” Dom couldn’t help himself but to tell her, when it came to fashion he was like a bee to nectar, completely drawn in. The girl just looked at him with a frown in complete disgust and then said, “Shut it shirt lifter, go back to your day job, it’s what you do best.” Dom just started to laugh a little, “Meow, I was only trying to give you some advice sugar.” The girl turned away from him, sighed and then began to walk out of the cafe but turned back to him and shouted, “What a bastard you are.” Dom put his hand up to his mouth and gasped, “Sugar, please, if you’re going to call me anything, call me a bitch.” With that he turned his head round and flicked his hair with his hand and made his way back to Stacey and slumped into his chair, “Well, that didn’t turn out well.”

Once the tears started to fall, Stacey heard what Dom had to say about her crying, which would start him off, making his eyelinger run. She laughed a little, then said she didn't know. Dom told her he didn't want to hear it, so she took it, thanking him, and commented blaming the hormones for the tears. She gave him a small smile, when he commented on the hormones. "I guess. Lately been a bit of a curse more than anything." All the times that she has just broken down a cried. At least it was better than getting angry, especially with David. Those times were the worst, though only happened a couple of times thank goodness.
Stacey gave over her number, and David, commented on that he was her fiancee. She laughed a little, as Dom got excited over her being engaged also. Well it was still very much exciting for her also, even though it happened a month ago now. As he grabbed her hand, and looked at it, Stacey waited to see what he said about it. "Thanks Dom. And hey, don't worry, I am sure that you will find someone as special as David is to me. You will have to meet him." Stacey sighed a little, feeling like she wanted to see him at that minute. She looked at the ring, then up at Dom. "I love him so much. He is the best thing that has happened to me."
Stacey watched as Dom took the piece of paper she handed him, and put both numbers into his phone. He then gave her his, by sending her a text. Stacey felt her phone go off in her bag, and pulled it out. She smiled as she read the short message, and looked up at him, "I am so glad that you are, Dom. It is going to be great to have a such a great friend here to talk to about anything." Stacey then saved Dom's number into her phone, then put it away. Dom then asked if the baby ever kicked when she was with him, could he feel it. "Sure, Dom. At least you are not a complete stranger. I have only been letting David, obviously, and the doctor cope a feel." She giggled a little. She had no worries with Dom doing that.
Dom commented on what she said about his cd. Then he spoke about dedicating one of the new songs to her baby, release it as a single, and all the money from it go to the baby. Stacey raised her eyebrows, thinking that it would be her luck that it would raise a truckload of money and she would get it all. "I have no idea what it is going to be yet, though I have an idea. But Dom, that is too much. You should keep some for yourself. I don't want to start thinking that you are going to constantly give me money. I don't want to be one of those friends, okay?" Stacey made some money of her own, with writing when she could for the paper, and David made a lot with his practice. She didn't expect to take money off her good friend.
Soon enough Dom guided her over to a chair, and went to get her ice cream. He came back forgetting to ask her what she wanted, and Stacey told him. Dom was then back, and handed her the ice cream. Dom soon told her about Canada, and the mention of his complexion again made her smile. "Well I think cold is fine, but lucky for us it doesn't get as cold as some places do in the States. Soon after Dom's phone rang, and she tried to not listen to what he was saying to the other person. But she did giggle a little quietly at the last part, and she saw that Dom had heard it too. She laughed a littl more, seeing his reaction.
Stacey finally started her long winded story to Dom. She wanted to tell him the whole thing in short form. But in the end it came out in the most longest story she had ever said to anyone. Well with David, it had been over a few sessions, and this time it all came out in one sitting. Stacey saw him acknowledge what she was saying, by a nod of his head, or putting his hand up to his mouth. But after it all, she felt better, just like she had felt once it was all out with David. Now Dom knew the whole thing.
Stacey gave him a weak smile, when he finally commented on it. "Well I am glad that you are here now, that is all that matters. And yes, I feel that I am in a better place now, thanks to David. He helped so much during the sessions, and afterwards also." Stacey then moved around to sit next to Dom, "I am sure that you will find someone. Who wouldn't love you?" She gave him a bright smile, and put her arms around him, hugging him as much as she could. "And I am glad that you were here to listen. I am trying to put the past behind me, and look to the future. So you can be a help then, okay?" Finally she had a friend she could call on, when David was busy with things. Stacey felt that David would like Dom, especially knowing that Dom wanted what was best for her as well.
Stacey dug into her ice cream, put a mouthful in, and then heard Dom say something about a fashion disaster. She swallowed some of the ice cream, and watched as he got up, and walked over to the girl. Once that mouthful was gone, Stacey got some more, and watched on, not being able to hear what was being said. Though from the reaction of the girl, it didn't seem like she liked what Dom said to her. Stacey then watched the girl turn to leave, but not before she called out ot him.
Stacey gasped a bit, shaking her head at what the girl said to Dom. But she enjoyed the rest of the show, and had to giggle at what Dom said next. She bit on her bottom lip a little, and shook her head, as she turned back to the table, as Dom headed back to the table. Stacey gave him half a smile, when he commented that it didn't turn out well. "Well I guess she doesn't understand fashion like you do." She then eyed off her white sleeved shirt, and maternity jeans, "Am I okay in what I am wearing?" Stacey giggled a little, hoping that he knew she was teasing him.

After Dom had made the comment abou this eyeliner running because her crying would start him off he heard her laugh which made him laugh a little too and then gave her a bright smile. He wasn’t going to have any of this crying business, because he was such an emotional soul if she started he knew he would start too and then they would both be in a mess. Dom had then commented that hormones could be a blessing and a curse he could only give her a sympathetic smile when she said that they were a curse more than anything lately. He put his hand on her arm and gave it a gentle squeeze. “I guess with something so awesome like new life, there always has to be some bad we have to suffer. At least it won’t be for too much longer, you look as if you’re quite far into the pregnancy?” He asked giving her another bright smile.
When Stacey made the comment about having a fiancé, Dom had got all excited once more and grabbed her hand and complimented the ring and made a comment about being left on the shelf. Stacey thanked him and then told him not to worry that she was sure he would find someone as special as David was to her. He gave Stacey a weak smile, “Maybe, but come on, who wants to put up with a lover who has a workload that would frighten the strongest army away and has to spend weeks and months on tour to please the many fans I have?” Dom asked in a sad voice, but really he wasn’t that sad, he loved being a singer and he loved his fans, men and women and most of all he loved the superstar status it gave him. “Okay maybe that’s a tiny over exaggeration.” Dom added using his finger and thumb to make the sign of something small, “But it would have to take someone really special to put up with my lifestyle. I hope I find him, but, well in the meantime I have my best girlfriend in my life again, so really a guy can’t ask for more than that.” Dominic grinned and then laughed a little. Just like a girl he could go from one extreme emotion to the other in a matter of seconds. Stacey had then said he would have to meet David and added that he was the best thing that had happened to her and she loved him so much. “Sure, I would love to meet the guy who is making my best friend so happy, so long as he’s alright with gay guys.” Dom replied and rolled his eyes and chuckled a little.
After Stacey had given him her and David’s mobile numbers, he had given Stacey his by sending her text telling her that Auntie Dom was there to stay. Well he had missed her over the past few years. They had always been good friends but when school broke up, they had gone their separate ways sadly, as many school friends do. After Stacey read the text, she replied saying she was so glad he was around to stay saying it would be great to have a good friend around to talk to about anything. “You got it sister, I am so glad I bumped into you today, it’s so good to have my best friend back.” Dom said and gave her a warm smile. He had then asked Stacey if the baby kicked while in his company would she let him feel it. He could hardly contain his excitement when Stacey agreed. “Oh my God Stace, you’re the best. Well I now feel honoured to be one of the few who gets to cop a feel of your stomach.” He then put his hand up to his mouth pretending to be in shock, “Now that is the first time I think I have ever been excited about touching a woman before!” He said in exclamation and began to giggle furiously.
Dominic had then made a statement about dedicating one of his new songs to her baby and releasing it as a single and giving all the monies to the baby, he had a feeling that might have been too much for Stacey, and his thoughts were proven right when she raised both her eyebrows, but she didn’t say anything about it yet, instead, telling him she didn’t know if she was having a boy or a girl but she had an idea. She then went on to say that his gesture was too much, he had been waiting for it. He playfully rolled his eyes and curled his top lip at her as he shook his head but smiled all at the same time. “I knew you would try to put your foot down on that one sugar. Alright, I’ll give half the proceeds to the baby, you can open up a bank account and the proceeds can go into it, and it can go toward their future education or something, anything. Please give me that much. I haven’t got anybody special in my life to spoil, let me do that.” He said, as he playfully winked at her and grinned and then gave her his best puppy dog eyes which always won over the toughest person.
When Dom had made more of a comment about Canada he had to laugh slightly when Stacey said cold was fine, but luckily they lived in a warmer State. “That’s why I was so glad to be back home Stace, you have no idea. I loved the country, just hated the weather, ugh. I swear to god, I’m going home and putting a face pack on and then deeply moisturising, not that I don’t believe you, but I usually do it once a week anyway. But since I’ve been in Canada I’ve been doing it every other night.” Then Dominic was interrupted by a phone call from his manager Xander. He had only just got back from working in Canada. The first time he gets to speak to Xander he’s going to tell him where to freaking get off and give him a break. He might be a superstar now, but even superstars needed their down time.
Dominic had then asked Stacey to tell him what had been going on in her life over the past few months and he had sat listening to her long story and acknowledged what she said with nods of the head or slight gasps with his hand to his mouth not wanting to interrupt her at all, but when he was sure that she was finished, that was when he had decided to speak to her, telling her what he thought of what she had told him and saying how sorry he had been that he wasn’t there for her when she had so obviously needed him. So when Stacey said she was glad that he was there now and it was all that mattered he put his hand up to his heart, “Stace, I’m touched, truly, I might be a rather busy girl, but I promise to always be your come to girl whenever you need anything, you only have to give me a call.” He replied as he gave her a bright smile and then laughed out loud. Dominic didn’t care about his sexuality and he was quite happy to refer to himself as a girl, in many ways that’s exactly what he was.
Dom had then made a comment about David sounding like a dream and making another comment about wanting to settle down and that’s when Stacey got up and moved over to sit beside him. He gave her a weak smile as she spoke to him saying she was sure he would find someone and who wouldn’t love him. “I don’t know Stace, haven’t had many relationships in my life, so what does that tell you?” Dominic had only had two boyfriends in his life and neither of them were that serious, but Dom hated being down and depressed, so he decided to brighten up again, “You know what Stace, you’re just going to have to come and watch my all time favourite movie with me, ‘Love Actually’, that always lifts my spirits, when I watch it, I truly believe that there is someone out there for everyone.” He grinned at her and gave her another playful wink. Stacey had then put her arms around him and hugged him, which prompted him to hug her right back. “Well, I am glad that I was here to listen, and I’m glad that you are here to listen to me now as well.” When Stacey said he could help her move on with her life and get over the past, he nodded his head and grinned, “Sure I will sugar, so long as you promise to help stop me brooding over not having a man in my life.”
It was at that point the girl had come in wearing the god awful purple leggings with a yellow mini skirt and Dom being Dom had to go up and say something to her. It hadn’t gone down too well, with her calling him a bastard in the end. He had just remarked if she was going to call him anything, to call him a bitch and then made his way back to the table flicking his hair with his hand. When he slumped into his seat commenting that it hadn’t gone well Stacey gave him a small smile and said that she obviously didn’t understand fashion like he did, and then asked if what she was wearing was fine. Dom rolled his eyes playfully and giggled, “Stace, come on, you were always a fashion formidable, and today is no exception despite the fact you have a baby bump to cover. I love what you are wearing, and I know that you are just teasing me, but I thought I would tell you what I honestly think. You always amazed me with your dress style sister, you never needed advice.” Dom then downed the rest of his ice cream, which really hadn’t taken him that long to eat it. He was just about to ask Stacey if she wanted to go to his rather luxurious apartment to watch ‘Love Actually’ with him when a few girls approached him saying his name and all giggling and screaming rather excitedly.
“Dom, Dom, can we have your autograph please, please?” They all shouted at him at once. It would seem he couldn’t even have an ice cream in a cafe without being bombarded, but really he loved it. He replied, “Alright, one at a time girls.” He then began to go through them all signing whatever they were throwing at him, from his CD to posters and t-shirts. The last girl to approach him pulled her top up and asked him to sign her breast, just like the girl at the airport when he had stepped out to get a taxi; two girls asking him to sign their breasts in the one day. “Sugar, I have no idea how many times I have to say this, you do know that I’m gay right? Showing me this does nothing for me.” The girl laughed, “I know you’re gay, but it doesn’t stop us from all thinking you’re gorgeous and loving you.” Dominic shook his head and laughed, “And we’re in a public place, you shouldn’t be doing that.” He quickly signed and then signed the poster she handed too and then he tried to usher them out, but one of them asked if he would sing to them.
“I can’t sing to you in the cafe, there are people trying to have quiet time.” He then rolled his eyes playfully and grinned, loving the attention and then shook his head, “Okay, if you want a personal mini concert come to Blackcat Studios in Laughlin on Monday, I will let you in. But you tell nobody else, I can’t be inundated with more than six of you, alright?” They all screamed out loud and giggled furiously before nodding their heads and leaving him and Stacey alone. Dominic turned to her with a sympathetic smile and said, “Sorry about that sugar, but it’s like this a lot, this is what you may have to put up with from time to time, having me back in your life. Now, can we please escape to my apartment so we can watch ‘Love Actually’, unless you have other plans?” He asked, giving her his hopeful puppy dog eyes and waited for her to reply.

Stacey smiled a little, when Dom commented about the hormones, saying that with something so awesome, there has to be something bad they have to suffer. Then she nodded, when he commented on that it won't be for much longer, as she looked as if she is quite far into the pregnancy. "Yes," she rubbed her stomach, "Only a month to go till this little one makes an appearance. Though not sure I am prepared for it very much." Stacey and David had been to the classes, and the other day they showed an actual birth. It just made her more nervous for the birth now.
Stacey shook her head, when Dom commented on who would want to put up with him, somehow describing himself. So what if he was a busy person. "Dom, what does that matter. If they love you enough they will sacrifice what they can to be with you. I know that David does enough for all the times that I have ended up in hospital, or there is an appointment. Or if I am just being me and need him. He drops everything, most of the time, and will come." Stacey gave him a smile, hoping that her little speech might help with what he was obviously feeling. Stacey had to then giggle a little at his remark of what he said being a slight exaggeration, and how she was his best girlfriend for the mean time. "Aww Dom, I am touched. But I am sure that you will be fine in the dating scene very soon." Dom then commented on what Stacey said, about him meeting David. "Oh he will be totally fine. He is a therapist after all."
Stacey burst out laughing for a few seconds, at what Dom said about being honoured at the whole feeling the baby kick and all. She was just about to comment on what he said, when he instantly spoke, commenting on how that was the first time he had been excited about touching a woman. "Well I am honoured to be your first. And I can't wait for you to feel it. It is an amazing feeling, more so for me as it is happening inside, and you are feeling it on the outside."
Stacey saw those eyes roll of Dom's when she said that his gesture was too much. She then waited to see what he would say, and had to smile a little, as he commented. "You know me too well, even after all this time. And okay. Well I can see that I won't be able to stop you, so I agree to receive half. And the idea of putting it towards the education of the baby is a good idea. Good thinking." The money would have gone towards the baby anyway, but it made sense for it to be kept safe.
Stacey giggled a little at what Dom said about Canada more, and how he was going to go home and put a face pack on and moisturise. "It's okay Dom. And you should come over one day and we can have a day of just doing that: facials, manicure, etc." She hadn't had one of those days in a while, actually she couldn't remember when she even had one. So it might be nice to have a day of pampering, either before or after the baby is born.
After Stacey gave him a long winded tale of her story over the last few months, Dom had commented on it, which led to her saying that she was glad that he was here now, and that was all that mattered. Stacey felt a blush come over her, as she let her head bow slightly, then looked up at Dom. "Thanks Dom. Don't be surprised that you get calls off of me when I can't ring David. It will be good to have two people who understand me and how I work." She gave him a brighter smile then.
Stacey gave Dom a reassuring smile, as talk of him finding someone was going to be tough in a way. "Well learn from my mistakes, and you will do fine. I have met some very interesting and very uncaring men. So we can both find you someone who is more suited to your needs, okay? Though we can start looking after this one has arrived, okay? Not sure if I am up for long periods of time going out right now." But the downside of the conversation went up a few notches, as Dom commented on coming over to watch his all time favourite movie. "Why not. I love a good movie." Stacey smiled, and the sound of just lazing aroud watching a movie sounded good to her right now. Dom then replied to what Stacey said about him helping her move on, and she had to put her hand out for him to take. "Deal."
Stacey felt good to know that she never needed advice on what she wore. When the mention of her baby bump came up, she absentmindedly rubbed at her stomach, "Well I had to buy more clothes the other day. I just keep on growing. I makes me wonder if I am having one baby or two some days. But no, we only ever see the one on the monitor." Stacey then sat back to eat the rest of her ice cream. With all the talking, it had melted about half of it. But it still went down great nonetheless. As she was putting one of the last spoonfuls into her mouth, a group of girls were saying Dom's name, and was carrying on. Stacey watched Dom acknowledge them. She had no idea how he did this every single day he was out and about. Just thinking about it made her feel exhausted. But lately everything made her exhausted, so maybe she would think about it differently when she wasn't so heavily pregnant.
Stacey instantly opened her mouth, barely gasping, as she watched the last girl lift her top, asking him to sign her breasts. Now she had seen everything. Well really Stacey had heard about girls doing that, but never seen it in the flesh, so to speak. She giggled a little at Dom's reply to the whole signing of the breasts thing, wondering what this girl was thinking. Does no one know that he is gay? Stacey put her hand over her face for a second, just not believing what she was seeing. It seemed they knew he was gay, but it somehow didn't stop them from doing what this girl was doing. She wondered how many times a girl had done this to Dom, most probably a few times at least.
She moved her hand from her face quickly, then finished off her ice cream. Stacey wondered if the girls would leave him alone for a few minutes at least, but no. One of them wanted him to sing. She shook her head slightly at how he continued to please his audience of girls. After he told them that they could come to the studio on Monday for a personal mini concert, Stacey wondered if that was a good idea. But Dom being Dom, she was sure he knew what he was doing. Soon the girls, now screaming, left him alone with her. He apologised, but she waved him off, then he commented about seeing the movie. "It's okay. It is someting that I will indeed have to get used to. And that sounds good to me. Relaxing with a good movie, and being with the bestest friend in the world sounds very good to me."
Stacey slowly got up out of the chair, and waited for Dom to lead the way. She felt quite full, but satisfied after the ice cream. Stacey smiled to herself, then the baby kicked. Without thinking, she instantly grabbed Dom's hand, and placed it over the spot where the baby had kicked. "Wait for it. She will kick again, always two kicks at least." Stacey stood still, smiling at Dom, then looked down at her stomach. Then a more powerful kick came through. She looked up at Dom, smiling furiously, "How was that. That was one of her massive kicks. Sometimes they don't happen till night time when I have to sleep."

When Stacey replied to what Dom had said with regards to how far on she was he nodded his head with a smile. “I thought you looked quite far on, so I’ve only got a month to wait to be ‘Auntie Dom’, I really can’t wait Stace, it’s going to be the best thing ever.” Dom replied in a very bright voice. He just knew that he would turn up at the hospital with the biggest teddy bear he could buy and ‘Congratulations’ balloons and flowers, although he knew he probably wouldn’t be the only one turning up with that sort of stuff. Maybe he should leave that for the father to do and just buy something smaller. For all that Dominic was a flamboyant gay; he wouldn’t want to take the light away from the person who should be doing it all. Dom then had an idea wondering if Stacey had already given it some thought or not, “Have you thought about holding a baby shower? Because I could so organise if it you haven’t.” Dom said with excitement in his voice, although he did wonder if that would be the kind of thing Stacey would like to do or not.
Dominic had then made a comment about who would want to put up with him, he should have known Stacey would step up and say something about it all, but he was only speaking from what he truly felt in his heart. In a way he could understand what Stacey was telling him but he was still finding it hard to actually believe someone would take him on board. “I think it’s a little different for you though Stace, you’re pregnant, it’s only natural David would drop everything for you, especially if there was something wrong.” Dominic then sighed and rolled his eyes slightly but then looked back at Stacey and gave her a smile with his top lip curled slightly, “I guess you’re right, I’m sure I will meet my Mister Right one of these days who will love me so much they will put up with my crazy lifestyle. I hope whoever he is, will want to adopt a baby, I really want to be a daddy.” Although to be fair Dominic would most likely be the mommy to the baby than the daddy, but as the child grew up, they would have to refer to him as dad, didn’t want the kid having issues at school if they started being teased for having a male mother.
Dom had then made a remark about having his best girlfriend in his life again which would pacify him until he met the man of his dreams. Stacey said she was touched and that he would be fine in the dating scene soon enough. “Who knows Stace?” He replied in a question, but all this talk about not having a man in his life was really beginning to bring him down and depress him which wasn’t a good sign for Dominic. Stacey had then said he should meet David and he had agreed adding he hoped he would be alright with the fact he was gay. Stacey replied saying David would be totally fine and that he was a therapist after all. Dominic had to giggle at that, “Are you trying to tell me I need to see a therapist Stace? Actually maybe that wouldn’t be a bad idea; someone has to sort out my sorry ass for moping over a man.” Dominic then laughed out loud and reached over to squeeze Stacey’s arm with his hand.
The conversation had then changed to Stacey’s baby kicking and Dom had asked if he could feel the baby kick if it happened when she was in his company and Stacey had said yes which had got him all excited and then had to make the comment about it being the first time he got excited about touching a woman before. He had to laugh along with Stacey at what he had said and then she was honoured to be the first woman he would touch, although that technically wasn’t true, he had touched plenty of women before, but usually gentle pats on the arms or holding their hand as they skipped to the shop or something, but touching Stacey’s stomach, that was just like totally off the scale for Dominic in the sense of being excited to touch a woman. It was like when his fans came baring their breasts to him to sign, any normal guy’s eyes would be popping out of his head at that gesture, not Dominic, it was just like signing a piece of paper as far as he was concerned, he had absolutely no fascination over it whatsoever. Oh he could admit that females were beautiful, but the naked body did nothing for him. If a male fan was to come to him with his pants down to sign his, well you know, that was a different matter entirely. “I can imagine it’s an amazing feeling Stace, although knowing what it’s like on the inside is something I will never know. Just as well really or I would be wondering exactly what sex I am.” Dominic laughed out loud after that, it was just so good being with Stacey again and enjoying a good laugh, he had missed times like this so much.
Dom knew that his gesture would have been too much for Stacey so he had then suggested giving half the proceeds to the baby instead and added that it could be put into an account to be put toward the child’s future education or something. “Yes, I do know you well, I never forget things about anybody and you’re right, you will not be able to stop me, I just backed down on my grandest gesture, this lesser gesture happens, or Dominic will be a very unhappy girl and we don’t want that on your conscious now do we?” He playfully nudged into her than and laughed again.
When Stacey commented about Dominic going over to spend a day and or night at her place pampering themselves with facials and manicures and all that jazz, Dominic got a little over excited again and clapped his hands together in an excited motion, “Oh Stace that would be like the best. Just like old times back at school. Ooh I can’t wait.” He did begin to wonder when it would likely to be, what with Stacey being so far on into her pregnancy, it would maybe have to be after she had given birth, but he didn’t care when it happened, just spending time with Stacey like that would be wonderful.
Dom had then told Stacey he was glad he was there for her now and that he could be his go to girl whenever she needed anyone to talk to. He gave her a bright smile when she replied to what he had said, “Don’t sweat it sugar, I’ll be only too pleased to take your calls and come running to you instantly for whatever it is you need. Even if it’s a run out of chocolate ice cream in the middle of the afternoon and David is busy at work, just you call on me sister, I’ll get you sorted.” He grinned and winked at her, oh how he was loving this, having Stacey back again, she was like his best friend and sister all rolled into one, not that he didn’t have a sister, he did, but Stacey was like the sister he chose if you will.
Dominic couldn’t help but grin widely at what Stacey was saying with regards to them going out and finding him a man, but maybe once the baby was born. He began to nod his head, “That sounds like an ideal plan to me sister, besides that face we will be trying to find me a man, it’s been a long time since we both went out like that for a girlie night out on the town. Reckon David would be okay with watching junior while we did that?” Dominic asked, although somehow he had this idea that David would be the type of bloke to do that, to allow Stacey a bit of a freedom. After all, even the best mothers needed time out. Then Dom asked Stacey, well more demanded Stacey that she come to his place to watch his all time favourite movie with him, ‘Love Actually’, as it was about the only thing that gave him hope that he would one day find love. “Awesome Stace, it will be so good to watch it with my best girlfriend, usually I watch it by myself. But be warned, I shall cry like the girl I am.” He then giggled slightly as if he was proving the fact that he was a bit of a girl and then he said that he would help her move on in her life so long as she helped him to stop brooding over not having a man. Stacey put her hand out to shake on the deal which Dominic took and then repeated what Stacey said, “Deal.”
Dom had then told Stacey she had always had an amazing eye for fashion and he smiled nodding his head as she spoke about having to buy more clothes because she seemed to keep getting bigger. Dom had to laugh a little when she added that it made her wonder if she was having one baby or two. “Hell sugar if you were having two I might have just been tempted to ask you to let me adopt one.” He was kidding with Stacey and she would or should know that, but he laughed out loud after it anyway. “Guess the baby is just going to be a very healthy eater?” Dom suggested although using the word healthy in the context of eating a lot, not exactly eating healthily as such.
It wasn’t long after this that Dom was swamped with a few screaming fans again and he had to get up and sign autographs for them. One of them showed her breast for him to sign. He really did wonder if they would ever give up on that move. Of course he had made his usual comment about asking them if they knew he was gay and again he would get the whole of course they knew but it didn’t stop him from looking gorgeous scenario. Stacey giggling at what was happening hadn’t gone unnoticed by Dominic either. Soon enough he had sent them all packing with a promise of a personal mini concert at his studio on the Monday. He did wonder if it was the best thing he did, but if they turned up with a lot of their friends, then his management would just tell them to leave. He had then made his way back to Stacey apologising for the scene which would have unfolded in front of her.
Thankfully Stacey didn’t seem to be too bothered by it, waving off his apology with her hand, and then she added that it was something she would have to get used to and watching a movie with her bestest friend in the world sounded good to her. “Aw Stace, I’m your bestest friend in the world? That’s good because you’re my bestest friend in the world too, how did I ever cope without you all these years after school?” He shook his head and laughed a little, but it was true, he and Stacey had always been close at school, always spending time with each other and then they graduated and lost touch. Dom knew he didn’t want it to happen again, ever. As Stacey began to get up out off her seat Dominic went rushing round to her, fussing as usual, keeping his hand on the small of her back to make sure she wasn’t going to fall over or anything and then he absentmindedly took her hand and began swinging it back and forth to lead her to his apartment, which wasn’t too far away from where they were.
They hadn’t been outside for too long before Dom felt Stacey grab his other hand and place it on her stomach. This made Dom stop in his tracks, knowing full well what that action meant. Then Stacey spoke telling him to wait for it and that the baby would do it again. They both stood still, and Dominic watched Stacey’s face and she was smiling which made Dom grin back and then he felt it, it was such a powerful kick, such a powerful movement. He dropped the hand which had been holding Stacey’s other and put it up to his mouth, “Oh My God Stace that is the most amazing thing ever. I honestly don’t know how it feels for you but that’s damned amazing. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for you to sleep if the baby moves like that at night. Wow, that really was, oh wow.” Dominic was somewhat a little lost for words, that didn’t happen often. He then bent his down a little, “Hey little one, I’m your Auntie Dom, you and me are going to have so much fun when you’re born.” He then looked back up at Stacey and grinned, “You know if the baby is a girl, she and I are going to be best friends too.”
He then took Stacey’s hand absentmindedly again and once more began swinging back and forth between them as he continued to walk to his apartment with Stacey, which would only take them about five minutes from where they were now.

All Stacey could do was smile brightly at Dom, when he commented on how he wouldn't have to wait long for the baby to be born. She rubbed slightly at her stomach, "Nope, and I am scared as hell, if I am honest." Stacey knew she had spoken about things with David, so Dom now knew her feelings towards what she was thinking constantly. Then Dom asked her if she had thought about holding a baby shower, cause he could organise it if she hadn't had one. Stacey shook her head sadly, "I haven't really thought about it. Really, there is no one who would come anyway. On you and David, and of cause his mum and sisters. That would be it unfortunately. Oh, and David's secretary." Stacey shrugged a little, "But it's okay."
When Dom made the comment about it being different with her, in regards to having David come to her aid because she was pregnant, Stacey nodded. But then Dom added that he guessed she was right, and that he will meet Mr. Right one of these days. Hearing him say again that he hoped that they would want to adopt a baby made her smile. "And I think that you will be a great dad, Dom. You only just found out that I was pregnant, and you already want to go above and beyond to be there. Whoever the child is in the future, I am sure that they will know that they are very much loved." Stacey gave him a warm smile, just having a feeling that he would be a great dad.
Stacey shook her head, when Dom asked her if he needed a therapist, after she commented that David was one, and would be totally fine with him being gay. She giggled a little, but he might have a point. "Well I didn't think I needed one, but David sorted my sorry ass out, so he might work wonders with how you are feeling. But you know you can come to me also, okay? Maybe some of him might have rubbed off on me." Well she wondered sometimes, as that one time in the restaurant, when David tried to propose, she had said a few words, and it sounded like she was speaking to David like a therapist. Though she would never persue that. She would let David have that job.
Stacey laughed with Dom, on his comment on not knowing how it felt for her on the inside. "Yes, well, I would a little myself then." She shook her head a little, laughing more to herself. Then Stacey had a thought, not knowing what David might say, but she thought she might as well put it out there anyway. "Not sure how you would think about what I am about to suggest. But how would you like to be present for the birth? David will be there nonetheless. But I have heard about the labour being long for some women, and just in case it is, it would be good to give David a break, if you are there also. What do you think?"
Stacey gave Dom a smile, nudging him back, when he replied more to the whole big gesture towards the baby. "Okay. Well then Dom, I agree to your gesture. Thank you." Stacey knew that she would have to tell David about what her best friend was doing, and she wondered what he was going to think about it.
Stacey was grateful for having Dom back in her life, but she didn't want to rely on him too much. Only really when David was too busy or something. Hearing that he was only too pleased to take her calls and come running, made her smile brightly at him. "Thanks Dom. And you also have to know my other craving. Ice cold Coke. None of that diet crap. The real deal. Makes me burp like hell, but I don't care. We are always fully stocked at David's place, which is technically my place also. That and peanut butter slice. Oh my... they are to die for." Stacey giggled then, thinking how she must seem. But those things she loved right now, and sometimes couldn't get enough of it.
"Oh, David will be fine with it, maybe just plan ahead though. Don't want to rely on him too much. And we have been calling the baby Miss Potter. I have had this feeling that it is a girl." Stacey couldn't explain it, but she just had this feeling, and she kept with it, along with David. When Dom commented about watching the movie, Stacey had agreed. She smiled when he commented more about it. "Well my emotions are all over the place lately, so we can both blabber in front of the television." The little thing would send her off evey once in a while, and movies or tv shows were the big thing.
Stacey laughed, shaking her head, "Well if I was having two, not sure if I would give up one. You might just have to move in to help look after them with us." Then Dom added that the baby is just going to be a very healthy eater. "Not sure about that. What with what I have been eating, not likely." She hadn't been doing too bad, but the ice cream was always being eaten, which made her wonder if that was the culprit for her gaining a bit of weight. "I think that I might have to cut back on the ice cream. But I keep craving it."
After Stacey made the comment that he was her bestest friend in the world, she smiled at him nodding, as he commented. "Well, not sure. I think if you were with me during collage, I might not have been a bad girl with the boys. You would have set me straight, I dare say. And I wouldn't have gotten in this mess," Stacey said, pointing to her stomach. "But really, I can't say anything bad about the baby. It's not her fault that her mother liked to sleep around, thinking guys were only good for one thing." Stacey knew better now, thanks to David.
As Stacey got up out of the chair, she smiled at Dom who was now helping her somewhat as she got up. It was more a slower process these days, what with the size she was now. "Thanks." Then Dom took her hand, and swung their hands inbetween them. After a short distance, Stacey had stopped as the baby had kicked. She had quickly taken Dom's hand, and placed it over the spot where the baby had kicked, saying that the baby would do it again. Sure enough, another huge kick came through from the baby, and Stacey smiled all the more at Dom. She asked him how it was, and by the look on his face, she knew the answer. Hearing him comment, just made her continue to smile. "Yes, well night times are so pleasent right now. That is why I have been sleeping in the afternoon to make up for lost sleep."
Then she watched him move down towards her stomach, and sighed a little at what he said. He then looked up at Stacey, and said that if the baby is a girl, they were going to be best friends too. "I am sure you guys will. She can probably sense how I am feeling, and I still think she can hear us." Stacey gave him another big smile, and then her hand was soon in his own, and heading towards his apartment.
{ooc - I know that I have spoken about Stacey giving birth in a taxi, so what Stacey suggested will not eventuate, but thought it was nice for her to think of him in that way, to be there during the birth.}

When Stacey said she was scared as hell about the birth Dom didn’t know what to say, because really what could he say to ease her troubled mind? It wasn’t like he had an idea of what it was like to give birth. He gave her a sympathetic smile, “Well, I wouldn’t begin to know what it’s like, but I’m sure you will be fine Stace, you’re a strong woman.” In all the time Dominic knew Stacey he had always known her to be a very strong woman and a force to be reckoned with, so he was pretty sure that despite her worries over the pending birth she would do just fine. Dom had then asked her if she’d had any thoughts on having a baby shower. When Stacey replied his face fell slightly, “Oh Stace sugar, well look it doesn’t matter how many go to it, you have to have one, what does it matter if it’s just the people close to you who attend? I’m going to organise it, oh this is going to be so much fun.” Dominic said as he began to clap his hands and giggle slightly at the prospect of organising a baby shower for Stacey. With a bit of luck he would haul his parents and his brother and sister along as well for extra bodies.
When Dom had said that he hoped his partner when he was ever lucky enough to get one would want to adopt, he couldn’t help but grin when Stacey said he would make a great dad and how he was already going above and beyond for her since finding out about the pregnancy and how the child would be very much loved whoever they would be. “Stace, that’s really nice of you to say so sugar. I love kids, my sister has a couple of kids and I just love being with them but I do get real broody around them.” He knew with his music career having a child would be difficult, but if and when it happened, and he and his partner if he got one were able to adopt a baby he knew he would sacrifice his career a lot to be there for the child. He wouldn’t give up his career completely, but he would definitely sacrifice a lot of it. He knew he would cut back on tours and he would make a deal to record an album every other year instead of every year as his contract was signed for just now.
When Dom teased Stacey about needing a therapist he saw her shake her head but then spoke saying that she didn’t think she needed to see one and David had managed to sort her sorry ass out so maybe he would work wonders with him. Then she added that he could always go and see her too. Dom gave her a warm smile then and touched her arm with his hand, “Thanks sugar that’s good to know, although maybe I should make an appointment to see David, it might only take one session to sort me out, who knows.” Then the burst out laughing and shook his head, “God, I really am such a girl, look at me Stace, I’ve got the best life ever, I have superstar status, got girls dropping at my feet asking for autographs and I’ve got you as my best girl, and I am moping over not having a man, I really need to get a life, don’t I?” He asked and then laughed some more. However, thinking about it seriously maybe seeing David wouldn’t be such a bad thing. Dom got himself wound up over not having a man in his life too easily.
“Hey, you can always count on Dom to make you laugh eh Stace, sugar?” Dominic said as they both enjoyed a good laugh over his comment about not knowing what it felt like to feel a baby kick on the inside. “And I should think you would be worried, I mean I know I act like a girl, but I know I’m not, or at least I don’t think I am, at least I wasn’t last time I looked.” Dom peered down at his privates then and put a hand up to his mouth, “Oh my god Stace, someone took them off.” He then burst out into laughter again, he was messing with her of course and he then winked at her, knowing she would know that he was messing with her. Stacey then spoke again and seemed to get somewhat serious and he couldn’t believe what Stacey was suggesting, not because he thought it was a bad idea by any means, but because he didn’t think for one minute Stacey would have wanted him there for something so, well special.
“Stace, sugar, I’m touched. If David was alright with it, I would love to be there. I mean I could be there to help sure. I’ve heard fathers who like to watch it all happening, so if David was like that, and couldn’t be at the right end to hold your hand, then I could do that. I really am touched Stace.” That was when Dom felt the tears beginning to sting at his eyes. When Dom says he acts like a girl he means it, right down to the emotions and tears always come easy to him. He wasn’t crying hysterically or anything, but there were definitely a few tears falling down his cheeks. He brushed them away with his hand, and then gently rubbed underneath his eyes, not wanting to get panda eyes when his eyeliner began to run with the crying.
Stacey finally agreed to the gesture he had made toward her baby and he just gave her a warm smile, still struggling to keep the tears at bay which had been falling seconds before. “You’re welcome sister.” He replied, he didn’t think any other words were needed then. Even if Dominic wasn’t a superstar he would still have done whatever he could to help Stacey with the baby, he just felt as her best friend it was his duty to do what he could and to be there for her. Yeah she had David, but a girl always needed their friends too and now that Dom was back in her life, she wasn’t going to be able to shake him off that easily.
When Dom said he’d be only too pleased to go running to her when she needed him and called on him he gave her a bright smile as she thanked him and then added in about her other cravings. He had to laugh a little, “Duly noted Stace, already marked into my super Enhanced Memory, always bring ice cold coke, peanut butter slices and chocolate ice cream when visiting Stace while she’s still pregnant.” He put a finger up to his brain and grinned, “That’s it, I won’t forget now.” Not that he would have anyway, he hadn’t forgotten anything about Stacey. They were friends for years during school, there might be a few things which happened after school with Stacey he didn’t know about, but he hadn’t forgotten anything he knew about her during school.
They then got into speaking about a girlie night out on the town, and Dom had said so long as David didn’t mind watching junior to which Stacey replied he would be fine but maybe plan it ahead. Dom nodded his head and smiled, “That’s understandable and I mean it wouldn’t be that often obviously. But every girl, even a mother needs to have a break and I think it would be amazing if the baby was a girl, but really a healthy baby would be all that mattered.” But Dom knew when it came to adopting a baby later he would want a baby girl, he just had this feeling he would be better raising a baby girl than a baby boy, besides he and his partner whoever that would be would likely be frowned upon adopting a baby boy, people weren’t always too happy about gay couples adopting at the best of times anyway. They would be wondering if they would corrupt the child, having it think that it was right to have two daddy’s and it was right to be with a man. Personally Dominic thought that was a load of bullshit, a child doesn’t grow up thinking that because they have gay parents that’s how they should be, it’s in the genetics. After all if Dominic had thought that he should be like his parents then he wouldn’t be gay would he?
When Stacey said they could both blubber in front of the television watching the movie he gave her a grin and playfully nudged her again, “That’s my girl, now I can’t wait to watch it with my best girl and I will make sure I have a box of tissues sat between us.” Dom never watched it without a box of tissues because he always cried at it, just like he did with Ghost, that scene at the end; it just got him every single time.
When Dominic had made the joke about her giving him one of the babies if she was having twins she said she didn’t know if she could give one of them up but he could move in to help her and David look after them. He gave her a big grin then, and gave her one of his crazy eyes look, “Now Stace you should know not to say something like that to Dom, you know I would just die to move in and help you look after them. Just as well you’re only having one then eh?” He laughed out loud and playfully nudged her again. He had really missed this and he was so glad to be back in his home State, if Xan ever mentioned about recording in Canada again he was going to tell him where to get off, no way was he going to lose out on his best friend again. Dom had then made a comment that the baby was going to be healthy eater when they were born due to Stacey’s cravings she replied saying she wasn’t sure about that what with all that she had been eating. “Well I didn’t mean it in the way of them being a healthy eater as in eating healthily I meant that they might eat a lot, but I’m just messing around with you Stace like I always do. But don’t women usually eat more when pregnant anyway? It’s not like its anything unusual, right?” He knew his sister had piled on weight with the two pregnancies she’d had, but she managed to lose it all within a few months.
When Stacey spoke about cutting back on the ice cream but craving it all the time, Dom shook his head. “Stace, sugar, don’t cut back on it, you crave it because your body and baby are telling you that you need it. Don’t worry about the weight you say you are putting on, looking at you I have to say that you are probably only putting on the average amount of weight typical of a pregnant woman. Don’t they check all of that at the hospital? Sorry I only know because of my sister having two kids and they monitored her weight gain and stuff, you have to put on a bit of weight while pregnant, it’s deemed wrong if you don’t.” He then looked down at his feet for a second feeling like he may have been speaking out of turn. “At least that’s what my sister said, but what do I know, I’m sorry sugar, guess I just don’t want to see you deprive yourself.”
When Dom had made the remark about wondering how he coped without Stacey all those years after school he frowned slightly at what she said about how she acted during college and how she thought guys were only good for one thing. Dom put his hand on Stacey’s arm then, “Hey sister, we all do something from time to time that we regret, but it doesn’t make us bad people. Besides you were younger then. That said if we had gone to college together I know I would have kept you on the straight and narrow. But your current situation Stace isn’t what I would call a mess; I would call it a miracle. Alright so maybe the father of the child isn’t who you would have wanted it to be and maybe if you hadn’t slept with this guy you wouldn’t be pregnant now, but then you might not have met David either. Everything always happens for a reason sugar, trust me.” God now he was sounding like a therapist and he couldn’t even blame David for rubbing off on him he hadn’t met him yet. He began to giggle slightly, “God Stace, listen to me.”
They were soon on their way to Dominic’s rather luxurious open plan apartment and he had taken Stacey’s hand swinging it between them when Stacey had suddenly stopped and he soon found out why when Stacey grabbed his hand and he soon felt the baby kick a rather massive one. It had sent Dom into a slight frenzy of excitement which then resulted in a loss of words from him which was something that very rarely happened. He had commented on how amazing it was and then he had to laugh a little when Stacey said that she was having to sleep in the afternoons to make up for lost sleep at night. “Well if she’s kicking like that all the time, then I’m not surprised sugar, that’s some kick she’s got on her. God, now I’m saying she, what am I like.” Dom laughed a little, and then he had a thought, “Well, if the baby is a girl, kicking like that can only mean one thing Stace, she’s either going to be an amazing athlete or a kick ass dancer.” He grinned at her before reaching down and talking to the baby and he heard Stacey sigh gently which made him look up at her and grinned again commenting that he and the baby would be best friends too if they were a girl.
“Oh I am sure babies can hear what people say as well. When Lianda was pregnant she said the baby always responded to people’s voices. Not that I knew I wasn’t around much when my sister as pregnant both times.” This explained why Dom hadn’t felt a baby kick, as he would have been sure to feel his sister’s baby kicking, he just hadn’t been around much at the time, between college and then kicking off his music career. Dom had then taken Stacey’s hand once more swinging it between them and continued to walk her to his apartment. A couple of minutes later they were standing outside Dominic’s place. He let go of Stacey’s hand so he could open the door and soon held it open for Stacey to walk inside. She would be greeted with a lavish hallway which would then lead to a massive open plan living room with dining room and kitchen area. To the right was the master bedroom and a little further down two guest bedrooms. To the left was the rather massive bathroom which consisted of not only a bath and a shower but a spa as well. He also had another spare room which he had turned into a mini recording studio.
“Just go straight ahead Stace sugar, just let me get this door closed.” He shut the door behind him and then ran to catch up with her and walked into the living room area which had a sofa which seated three and another which seated two, they were cream leather with massive soft cushions and a plasma television mounted onto the wall. He had a massive sound system to the left and his DVD recorder and digital box and PS3 games console underneath the television in an entertainment unit. To the right of that was his video case which was top to toe with DVD’s all in alphabetical order. This was part of Dom’s OCD, he liked things like CD’s and DVD’s all being in alphabetical order. “So, what do you think Stace?” Dom asked as he immediately went to the DVD collection and pulled out ‘Love Actually’ and slotted it into the DVD player. “I’ll be back in a sec sugar.” He said as he made his way toward the kitchen area and immediately poured an ice cold glass of coke for Stacey, luckily he drank it himself and had some, he then poured another for himself and then shouted through, “Do you want me to put on some popcorn?”

Stacey gave Dom a weak smile, when he commented on how she said that she was scared as hell about the birth. "I don't know about that. Maybe lately, but who knows." When Dom spoke about the baby shower, and after she had said that she hadn't thought about having one, and there wouldn't be too many people to come to it, Stacey smiled a little at what Dom said. "Okay. Well I can't argue with you organising it, as I don't think that I would have the energy to do that. You have my go ahead to organise it." She shook her head smiling a bit more, loving how Dom was excited over it. She was also, but she knew that he would have plans up his sleeve for it.
Stacey listened to what Dom said about his sister having kids, which she raised her eyebrows at. "Cool, how is she anyway?" She got to know Dom's siblings, but it had been about eight years since she saw any of them. "Where abouts does she and your brother live now?" When Dom had mentioned about his sister's kids, Stacey could tell that he loved them as much as his sister did.
Stacey hadn't meant for Dom to go and see David, but since the sessions helped her, then she did wonder if David could work wonders on Dom also. "Well whatever you decide Dom, I know that David would be happy to take on another new patient. Even if it is only for one session." Stacey giggled a little. She then listened to what he said next, about him being a girl over it all, and rattling off what his life held at the present time. Stacey shook her head. "It's okay Dom. You have a hard and full on life right now. But yes, I guess you do have the best life right now. I am lucky to be on the journey somewhat with you."
Stacey raised her eyebrows, snickering as Dom questioned whether he was a girl or not. She gasped a little, then laughed with Dom, after he said that someone had taken his private parts away. Stacey shook her head, still laughing a lot, feeling tears form in her eyes after laughing so hard. She wiped them away, half laughing. Stacey then put forward a thought about Dom being there at the birth, when it happened. She listened to what he said about her idea, and nodded. "Well I will talk to David, but I am sure that he will be fine with it. I was just mainly thinking about the labour side of it, as it might be long for me, who knows, what with it being my first." Stacey saw Dom wipe at his eyes, and she gave him a warm smile. "Don't you start that, what with me being an emotional wreck over little things."
After Stacey commented on what she had been craving, Dom said he had made a note of it in his mind. "Good. Now I am going to expect it all the time now." Stacey giggled then, and sighed a little. "Though I think I will be glad when it is over, so that I can go back to eating what I love the most. I haven't been able to stomach roast pork, which I found out back at the end of June, when I ordered it in Paris. I got angry, and that was the start of my moodswings." That was one thing she was going to make sure she was able to eat once she gave birth, no matter what.
When they got talking about going out on the town, Dom said that it wouldn't be every night, which Stacey quickly said, "Of cause." And when he finished the rest of what he said, Stacey smiled. "I think I will deserve a few moments away from it all. But I can say that now, and then once she is born, I will then find it hard to tear myself away. But whatever the case, I will have to make time for you." She then sat back in her chair. "And I agree that having a healthy baby is all that matters, but I still feel that I am having a girl. I will look like an idiot if it turns out to be a boy. I have kind of bought a few small things that would suit a girl. If it is a boy they might just have to go back to the store."
After Stacey made the comment if she was to have two, she would see if he wanted to move in to help, he gave her this crazy look, and she wondered what he was going to say. Then he spoke, and she had to giggle, and blush a little. Resting her hands on her stomach, Stacey looked at Dom, "I will have to remember to not bring that up again. And yes, not sure if I could handle two really. One is enough for starters. Though I have thought about whether I would want more. Just see how this one turns out I guess." Stacey had been thinking about if she wanted more, and really, it would be nice to have at least one with David.
"I know. But just knowing what I am eating, might give her a bit of taste for a few bad foods." Stacey grinned a little, just knowing that at least one of the cravings she had right now might rub off on them. Stacey had mentioned about cutting back on the ice cream, but it was hard because she always craved it. Dom had shaken his head, and replied. She then bit on her bottom lip, and went to reply to what he said about the weight gain being typical with pregnant women, when Dom added more, apologising for what he said. Stacey shook her head. "No, it's okay Dom. I know what you are saying. They do monitor everything, especially since I have been in there with two false alarms. Everything is getting monitor extra close these days. Everything is well in proportion, but really I still wonder, you know?" Stacey then thought of how she had deprived herself after the Brendan break up, and that now was maybe her way of making up for that.
Stacey had shared with Dom what she had been up to in collage, thinking that guys were only good for one thing. She gave him a weak smile as he put his hand on her arm, listening to what he said in reply. "I guess." Then as he moved on through to her situation now, she nodded. "I trust you, and I agree that things happen for a reason, but some of the situations that I have landed in will always be with me. But I am glad that it all got out when with David in the therapy sessions. He knows every little thing about me now, so there isn't much more to share." Stacey giggled a little, but she knew that there was still stuff that she could share, but most or all the bad stuff was out in the open at least. She then laughed when Dom commented about listening to him. "If your singing career ever falls flat, you know that you can listen to people's worries."
After the baby kicked, Stacey had commented about how that was how she kicked during the night, and then Dom replied. When she heard him refer to the baby as 'she', it made her smile. Then Dom said about how he was referring to the baby as 'she'. "See. I think that is a premonition then. Now everyone I know is calling the baby a girl. But I have known it since about four months ago." Stacey hoped that she was right. Dom then commented on what the baby could be if she kicked like that. "Well whatever she decides to do, I will be there one hundred percent. Though I think she might be good as a soccer player. Sometimes it feels like she is going to kick a hole right through me some nights. Like she is fighting her way out."
Dom then made his comment about being sure that babies can hear what people said, and added about his sister when she was pregnant. "Well I believe the same thing. I just need for her now to like the music and movies that I like and then we will be all good." Soon enough they were in the front of Dom's place, and she let him open the door, and walked through the open doorway. Stacey headed into what could only be a hallway, and then she peered around, wondering what made up Dom's place. Stacey had a feeling that he would only want the best for himself, and really that was not going to change, despite him being a musical star and all that.
Dom told Stacey to head straight ahead, which she did, and Dom soon caught up to her. They walked into the lounge room, which was more of an entertainment area, what with all the high tech stuff and game consoles he had. Yep, she thought, this is so Dom, as she continued to look around. She soon saw his dvd and cd collections, and saw enough they were in alphabetical order. "Well it looks like I do the same as you. I have my dvd's and cd's in alphabetical order as well. Maybe you rubbed off on me and I didn't even know it." She giggled a little, and then he asked her what she thought. "Dom, this place is so you, do you know that? It is pretty cool if I do say so myself. But I have yet to get a tour. But plenty of time for that, I say."
Stacey walked over and sat down in the three seater lounge, and it felt good to sit. They hadn't walked for very long, but because of the weight she was carrying, it sometimes took it out of her. Dom had then put in the dvd of Love Actually, and then said he would be back in a second. She gave him a smile, and watched as the dvd loaded up. Stacey then heard Dom shout out to her about if she wanted popcorn. She then shouted back, "Just as long as you have peanut butter for me to dip it into." Stacey laughed to herself with that one.

When it seemed to Dom that Stacey was unsure of her being fine through the labour and being a strong woman Dom had to give her a slight frown, “Don’t you be so hard on yourself sister, you are a very strong woman, but even the strongest can get a little scared about certain things, but I am sure you will be just fine, and it’s not like you will have to do it all alone.” Dom said trying to reassure her slightly, however he knew what women could be like and Stacey was no different, when she got her mind set on thinking a set way nothing would budge it. Dom had then mentioned about Stacey having a baby shower which she had said she hadn’t given it much thought and that there wouldn’t be many people who would go anyway. Dom didn’t take that as an excuse and said that she had to have one and he would be more than happy to organise it. When Stacey agreed he jumped up and down a couple of times clapping his hands. “Yay, this will be heaps of fun Stace, just you wait and see.” He then gave her a massive grin.
When Dom had brought up his sister and her kids it had prompted Stacey to ask about her and his brother. “Lianda’s doing fine Stace, she isn’t married yet, but she and her boyfriend live together, she fell pregnant the first time when she was nineteen, so she started young.” Dom explained and then giggled a little, he loved his sister’s kids, maybe it was to do with their Italian heritage they were always big on kids. “Lianda and her boyfriend live in Las Vegas and Eduardo is still at home with the folks.” Dom said answering Stacey’s question about where his sister and brother now lived. Eduardo was the baby of the family and was apparently in no rush to settle down or move out.
Dom smiled at Stacey and pouted slightly with a slightly curled lip when she said that whatever he decided David would be happy to take on another patient even if it was just for one session. She had then giggled slightly. “Yes, well if he’s as nice as you say he is, then I might be more than happy to have at least one session with him sugar.” He said and winked slightly and then nudged her so she would know he was just playing around with her. For a start David was obviously very straight, and his number one rule was never to ever try it on with a friend’s man, it was a big no in Dominic’s book. He had then made a comment about being very girly about everything because really he had a wonderful life right then and he shouldn’t be complaining. He just gave Stacey a weak smile and gave her one of his crazy eyes look when she said that he did have a full on life and that she guessed that he did have the best life right now but it was a journey she was somewhat lucky to be a part of. “Yes, and now that you are a part of it, I am not sure I want that to stop.” Dom said as he really was so very happy to have his friend back again. Every girl needed their friends after all.
When Dom had made the comment about being sure he wasn’t a girl the last time he had looked and then looked down at his privates and pretended to look shocked saying someone had taken them off and then giggled furiously. It had caused Stacey to go into a fit of deep laughter which made Dom laugh all the more. He had his hand on his hip as he continued to laugh out loud. “Oh my god Stace, my stomach is sore with laughing.” He managed to say between his constant laughing as he watched the tears form in Stacey’s eyes through the laughing. “Ah Stace, I bet you’ve missed this eh?” He asked and laughed some more. After that little funny moment the conversation got a little more serious as Stacey had asked Dom if he wanted to be present for the birth. It had really touched him and he had felt tears begin to sting at his eyes this time. She went on to say that she was sure David would be fine with it, but that with it being her first the labour could be long and then she spotted the tears in his eyes telling him not to start that what with her being an emotional wreck just now. “I’m sorry sugar, but you really touched me with that gesture, that’s all.” Dom sniffed a few times and then took in a deep breath doing what he could to regain his composure over it all.
When Dom said he had made a mental note of her cravings Stacey replied saying good and that she would expect it all the time. “Your wish will be granted sister, Enhanced Memory, or had you forgotten?” He said and laughed a little, “I can guarantee that you will always get your cravings from now on when you come visiting me.” He then had a thought, although not something he could do right now, not while she was pregnant, not because he wouldn’t be able to carry her, but for the safety of the unborn child, “And, when junior is finally with us, I must take you up into the skies with me, you’ll love it am sure.” He was of course referring to his ability of flight, or if Stacey wasn’t sure about being flown anywhere in the sky, then maybe he could just hover them up to the top of a tall building to look out at the view or something. Stacey then added that she would be glad when it was over so she could get back to eating roast pork. “Well then, we will have to make sure one of the first things we do after junior is born and maybe grandma can watch her that we all go out for a celebratory meal and you can order roast pork.” Dom said grinning at her, although he knew that they probably wouldn’t go out that often as with all new mothers they usually liked to spend as much time as possible with their baby.
When they had got to talking about going out on the town and Dom had said not every night obviously, Stacey had then said the very thing he had just been thinking about seconds before, that she would probably find it difficult to tear herself away from the baby. Dom nodded his head smiling brightly at her, “Ah Stace, I was only just thinking that seconds ago sugar. I know you will make as much time as you can for me, but don’t forget sister, I’ll probably just be as busy with touring and stuff, but you know that my first port of call when I’m not doing anything like that will be to come and see you and check on junior.” Dominic knew fine well that he would treat Stacey’s baby as if she were his own niece anyway, after all he treated Stacey more like a sister than a friend, he always had done and he knew he always would.
“Well Stace they say a woman’s intuition is a great thing, so if you think you’re having a girl then chances are high that you will indeed be having a girl. But I wouldn’t say you would look like a fool if you did have a boy, just think of it that your intuition misinformed you instead.” Dom said winking at her and giggling slightly. He just hated to think of Stacey putting herself down and he would always say or do something to right that situation if he could and that was one of those moments when he felt he could say something to make it sound better. He didn’t know anything about pregnancies as such other than what Lianda had told him when she was pregnant and even then it was through telephone conversations, so he couldn’t say the usual ‘well you’re all to the front, a sure sign it’s a girl’ thing to her, because he simply didn’t know.
When Stacey had mentioned that Dom would just have to move in to help her look after them if she were to have twins he had said that she shouldn’t say anything like to him because he would love to move in and help her. Stacey giggled a little which made Dom laugh and then she said that she would remember not to bring it up again and added that she wasn’t sure if she could handle two and that one was enough for starters. “Well I am sure this one will be a dream Stace, but you’re young enough yet, so plenty of time to make up your mind on whether to have another.” Dom replied and then had to giggle slightly remembering what his sister had said after giving birth to her first, that she never wanted to go through that again, and then a year later she was pregnant again.
“Well, a little bit of bad does everybody good.” Dominic said with a grin after Stacey commented that the baby would be getting a taste of bad foods from her cravings. Dom hated all this controversy over what you could and couldn’t eat, hell they should just leave people alone, what was the point in watching what you ate if it made you a miserable bitch? He will always stand by his motto; you’re here for a good time, not a long time, so enjoy it while you can. Then Stacey had mentioned about cutting down on her ice cream and Dom had basically told her that she shouldn’t do that and then went into a tangent about having to put on a certain amount of weight and a few other things and then apologised because basically it wasn’t any of his business to be talking to Stacey like that. “Well if everything is still in proportion then it’s fine. I am sure they would soon tell you if you were putting on too much weight. But Stace, sugar, you look wonderful as always, and as I was just thinking, you should live by my motto, you’re here for a good time, not a long time, so enjoy it while you can.” He grinned at her then; he just knew that if he cut back on or cut out on everything he ate which was bad for him he really would be a miserable bitch.
“I guess that some decisions in life we make will always haunt us sugar, but they’re in the past and that’s where they should stay and you really shouldn’t dwell on them, let them get buried under this wonderful new life you’ve gotten yourself into.” Dominic said and then he had laughed at the fact that he was coming across as a bit of a therapist himself this time. He had to laugh some more when Stacey said if his singing career ever felt flat he could listen to people’s worries. “Yeah I guess so, well now we know I have a back up vocation in life if I ever need it.” He wasn’t qualified to give out proper advice but one thing he did know about himself and that was that he was a good listener and tried to say things for the best but he was no therapist.
After Dom had felt the baby kick and referred to the baby as a she he had to laugh when Stacey replied saying that it must be a premonition or something. “Well maybe everyone is just referring the baby to a she because you are?” Dom offered, it was after all only once Stacey had referred to the baby as a she in his company that he had started to do the same thing. Dom had to laugh a little when Stacey said she would make a good soccer player and sometimes she felt as if the baby was fighting to get out. “Well maybe she is fighting to get out Stace, maybe she’s ready to start life in this world? But I suppose she could be a soccer player, never thought about that, girls and football don’t really mix in my opinion, I mean I hate football and we all know that I’m probably the biggest girl out of the both of us.” Dominic giggled out furiously then, he was so much a girl that at times he really did wonder if he was meant to be a girl, but no, he was happy being a very girlie man.
Dom gave Stacey a smile, “Well, usually a child grows up with what their parents are watching and listening to, so I bet she will love what you do, I mean I love listening to The Beatles for instance because my mom loved them.” Although to be fair Dominic’s taste in music was very widespread, but The Beatles was one of his mom’s favourite groups when he was growing up and another was Queen, so he loved listening to Queen as well. Soon enough they had reached Dom’s place and he soon had them both inside and instructed Stacey which direction to head in and he had soon caught up with her after closing the door. He saw Stacey looking at his CD and DVD collections and made a comment that she did the same as him with having them in alphabetical order. “Maybe you did rub off on me sister. Although the doctors have put it down to the fact I have a slight case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, all my CD’s and DVD’s have to be in alphabetical order, I have to have all my plates in one cupboard, and my bowls in another, cups and mugs have to be turned upside down and heaven forbid if a spoon ends up in with my forks or knives, I go crazy.” Dom explained and then laughed a little at how absurd he was probably sounding, but he was a part of who he was and it wasn’t something he could change.
Dom had then asked Stacey what she thought of his apartment and he had to smile brightly when she said that it was very him. “Well thanks Stace, I’m glad you think it’s very me, I think so too and don’t you worry that pretty head of yours, I’ll give you a tour, but I think after the walk here, we watch the movie and then I give you the tour.” He replied and giggled a little and then after putting the movie into the DVD player he said he would be back soon. He had gone to get them a drink each and then asked if she wanted some popcorn and she said as long as he had some peanut butter for her to dip it into and he replied, “Sure thing Stace, coming right up.” He put the popcorn into a microwaveable bowl and covered the top with a microwavable lid and a minute or two later the popcorn was ready and he emptied it into a plastic bowl, lifted up the peanut butter jar and then the two drinks and put them onto a tray and carried them out to the lounge area. He placed the tray down onto the table and then sat down right next to Stacey.
He leaned forward and picked up the bowl placing it between them, and then he handed her the drink and peanut butter. “There you go, peanut butter and ice cold coke, just the way you said you liked it sister.” Dominic then picked up the remote and fast forwarded by the adverts and intro on the DVD and then pressed play where the music started up on the movie, he then side glanced to Stacey, “This is going to be amazing watching this with my best girl.”

Stacey again heard Dom reassuring her about being a strong woman, and all she could do was nod, then finally answered. "Okay. And I know that. I have my two best friends there with me all the way. David will be there, obviously, and you will also. And about three months ago I thought I would have nobody." She gave him a smile, then half laughed. Then the talk of having a baby shower, and Stacey agreeing to Dom organising it made her smile more. It seemed he was going to be very much involved in the whole process. "Well I can't wait to see what you come up with, Dom."
Stacey had asked him how his siblings had been going, and Dom told her. She nodded, and smiled at certain places. "Well you will get to visit her while you are home. And wow to her starting young. At that time in my life, I was mucking around with guys and not being responsible, somewhat." She then remembered him talking about his brother. "Well it seems he will have it good for a while, what with living with your parents. I haven't seen mine since I went to collage. So much longer with my sister." Stacey gave him a weak smile, wondering if she should contact either of them, since they would have a granddaughter and a niece very soon.
"He is nice, and I am sure that he would be more than willing to listen to you. You have his mobile, but here is his business card for his practice." Stacey fished one out of her purse, handing it to Dom. "Just if and when you might need to use it, okay?" She didn't want to push it on him or anything, but it was there to use if he needed it. "But you know you can always call me too, okay?" When it got to the part where Dom was speaking about his life so far, Stacey had commented that he was full on life, and he had the best life, and she was part of the journey now. She smiled at Dom, when he said that now she was a part of it, he didn't want that to stop. "Well, I will be part of it when I can."
Stacey had never laughed that hard in some time, and the tears were starting to form and fall from the hard laughter. She had to practically hold onto her stomach, and try and calm herself down. Stacey wiped at her eyes then, feeling herself come down from the laughter somewhat. She laughed a bit more, when Dom commented that his stomach was sore with laughing. "What do you think I am like. I have a whole other person inside me who is probably wondereing what the hell is going on." She laughed then, and started to take a few deep breaths. But the laughing was good, it felt like old times. Dom asked her if she had missed them laughing together, she nodded, "I guess I have." She then gave him a warm smile.
She laughed a little, when Dom said that her wish for her cravings would be granted, or had she forgotten about his Enhanced Memory. She bit on her bottom lip, "Maybe. I think you were the only one at school that I knew that had an ability. But when we parted, that kind of went out of my head. No wonder I freaked out somewhat when my drink was spiked last year, and I started to have an ability for a couple of hours. I was able to produce fire out of my hands." That was one scary night, one that she wished she never had, but then she never would have met Brendan. Dom then mentioned that whenever she visted him, she would get her cravings. "Very good." She gave him a warm smile, loving having her friend back. Dom then suggested that once the baby is finally born, that he must take her up into the skies with him. Stacey bit her bottom lip, not sure of what he was saying. "I, um. Let's wait till after the baby okay? I will have to see about flying. Wasn't too good with it on the way to Paris that time, but it could have been when I was pregnant, and had the morning sickness. But I can't see anything wrong with it."
Stacey had mentioned about what she wanted to eat once the baby was born. Her favourite food in the whole world, roast pork. Dom mentioned that they should go out for a celebratory meal, and maybe get grandma to watch the baby. "You know, that might not be a bad idea. Not sure how long it will take for me to get back into the foods I couldn't eat during the pregnancy. But we should. Maybe after a week, though depends on how I am dealing with it all." They had the classes where they had to dress a baby doll, and were shown a video of how to care for the baby when it is born. But she knew she would have to do it on her own with David as well at home. If things went okay, she couldn't see why they couldn't go out to dinner after a week, or two.
When she spoke about probably finding it hard to tear herself away from the baby, Dom then commented that that was what he was just thinking. She nodded at what he had said, and knew what he was saying was true. "I know you will be busy, what with recording your second album already. But you will soon know where we live, so don't forget us when you are a bigger star than you already are." Stacey laughed a little, and smiled at Dom. She knew he wouldn't forget about her, and she would never forget about him ever again.
Stacey gave Dom a bright smile, when he said that if she thought she was having a girl, then chances were high that she was having a girl. "I just know. And thanks. But I would still feel like a tiny idiot then." She held up her fingers to give the small gesture of the feeling like a tiny idiot. Stacey rubbed her stomach slightly, just knowing in her head that Miss Potter was going to be Miss Potter when she finally showed herself to the world.
After Stacey had made the comment that one was enough for starters, not sure if she could handle two, Dom said that he was sure that the baby was going to be a dream, but also she was young enough and plenty of time to make up her mind on whether to have another. "Though I would like to have another baby, one with David. This one we will be bringing up together, even though the baby is not technically his. But I am proud to call him the father of it. No one needs to know the whole back story. People can know that David has adopted her, as we met after I was pregnant."
Stacey had reassured Dom that everything was in proportion for her pregnancy, and he commented more about it. "Yes, I am sure my doctor would, but thanks. I still need to go out and get a couple of nice shirts still. Some of the others are not fitting as good these days." She thought about his motto more, and gave him a smile. "I guess you are right. I should enjoy the fattening food then." She laughed a little, and then knew what she had been eating was a little fattening, but she loved it.
Stacey nodded, and smiled a little at Dom, as he commented about burying the past under the wonderful new life she had gotten herself into. "You are right. I guess that I have learnt from it all, and need to concentrate on the now. With you and David." She smiled a bit more, and patted his arm. After Stacey had said that if his singing career was no more, he should listen to people's worries. She snickered at his comment, "Well maybe David could teach you a few things. Maybe give you tips on what to tell your manager when he gets angry at you. But really, you seemed to handle it rather well before."
Dom had made the comment that maybe everyone is referring the baby to a she because Stacey was. She shrugged a little. "Maybe. Maybe I have gotten so used to the baby being a girl, in my head anyway, that I have made up my mind, and everyone elses." Stacey had made the comment that the baby would be a good soccer player, as she sometimes felt as if the baby was fighting to get out. Dom acknowledged this, saying that she was ready to start life in the world. He then went on about never thinking about her being a soccer player and how he hated football. "I know you don't like football. It was made very clear at school." She laughed a little at how he giggled about it. Stacey wondered what would become of her child though, once she grew up. Though there was plenty of time to think about it.
"Well, I will have to listen to your cd more then, so that she knows what her family is like." Yes, she was classing Dom as being part of her family. Him, David, and David's family was her family, what with not knowing where her actual family was. Once they were at Dom's place, and inside, Stacey had looked at his collection of dvd's and cd's, and made a comment about him having them in alphabetical order like she has hers. She listened to what he said about what the doctors said he had, and then he spoke about what things have to be in certain places. "Well I don't think that I am that bad. Just the dvd's and cd's. So yes, maybe you do have OCD."
Dom made a comment on what she said about his apartment, and he added that since they walked to his place, they would watch the movie, then he would give her the tour. "Sounds good. Resting then walking more sounds good to me." As Dom put the dvd in and then walked away, saying that he would be right back, Stacey soon relaxed more in the seat. Dom then called out if she wanted popcorn, which Stacey replied to with only if there was peanut butter for her to dip it into. She smiled to herself, when Dom said sure thing about that. Stacey sat in the lounge, putting her head back on the back of the lounge. She looked around, and made a mental note about his house feeling rather comfy, or maybe it was the lounge.
Soon Dom was back with the tray of food and drink. It was placed on the table as Stacey sat up a bit, in order to take her drink. Dom placed the bowl in the middle of them on the lounge, and then handed her the Coke and the peanut butter. Stacey gave him a warm smile, "Thanks Dom." She sat back in the lounge, taking a few mouthfuls of the Coke, before placing it back on the tray, and then sat again, and began to take a piece of popcorn and dipping it into the peanut butter. She moaned a little at the taste, and took more bits, one at a time. Soon enough Dom had gotten to the beginning of the movie, and then turned to her, saying that it was going to be amazing watching the movie with his best girl. Stacey turned and gave him a bright smile. "Thanks, and can't wait to see it with my best friend. Maybe after this I can suggest another one, my choice?" Stacey had no where else to really be that day. "Unless you have somewhere to be this afternoon? David won't be home till late afternoon, and I will be home all alone."

When Dom had told Stacey once more that she was a strong woman she answered saying okay and then added that she had him and David to help her through it all and then gave him a smile. He nodded his head grinning like a Cheshire cat, “Yes you do sister, and I know for a fact that I’m not going anywhere and I dare say neither is David.” Still grinning at her he then playfully nudged her, he loved doing that, but really what he had been saying was true, Stacey had always been strong throughout school and he couldn’t see that there was any change in that. When Stacey said she couldn’t wait to see what he would come up with for the baby shower he just playfully winked at her with his curled lip smile, “I bet you can’t sister.”
When Stacey made the comment that he would be able to visit his sister while he was home he nodded his head smiling, “Yeah and I can’t wait to see her and the kids, they’re just so adorable.” Stacey had then made the comment about the fact Lianda had started young he couldn’t help but laugh a little then. “Yeah, well the way she used to act with her baby dolls even in her early teens I had a feeling that she might be a young mom and I was right.” He said and shrugged slightly remembering the day she had told them all she was expecting her first baby. It wasn’t as if it was a disgrace on the family, she had been with her boyfriend for years and being Italian Dominic knew his parents would have been very surprised if his sister hadn’t said she was pregnant before she was twenty one. “I guess everyone has different goals in life, you weren’t ready for settling down, there’s nothing wrong with that.” Dom said giving Stacey a reassuring smile. Stacey then commented about his brother still being at home with his parents. “You could say he has it good, I think mom and dad would be happy for him to move on however, they’re all for their kids getting on with their lives and producing grandchildren.” Dom laughed a little then.
Really they were happy as anything when Lianda said she was pregnant, and although they didn’t care about Dom’s sexuality they had made it pretty clear they were upset that he wouldn’t give them any grandchildren. He had then waved his arms around in a flamboyant manner and challenged them saying how did they know he wouldn’t be able to produce a grandchild for them? Adoption aside, if one of his female friends was willing to have a child for him, then it would be his flesh and blood. It did make him wonder who that could be as he would never ask it of Stacey, what with her having enough to deal with just now just getting her own pregnancy over with. “It’s the one thing about my sexuality which has disappointed them, the fact I will not produce a grandchild, told them I might surprise them, you just never know right? I mean one of my many female friends or fans for that matter might be more than willing to carry my child.” He began giggling furiously then knowing how that would probably sound to Stacey. However his parents weren’t that bad, he knew if he adopted they would go gooey eyed over the baby just as much.
When Stacey said she hadn’t seen her family or sister since college he gave her a weak smile, “You know Stace, maybe it’s time you got in touch with them, I’m sure they’d be happy to know about their grandchild and niece.” He put his arm around her shoulders then and pulled her into a hug, “But you know you’ve always got me and David, you know that you’re the sister I would have handpicked.” He grinned at her then and hugged her to him once more before dropping his arm from her shoulder.
Dom just gave Stacey a warm smile when she agreed that David was nice and that he would be more than happy to listen to him and handed over one of his business cards. Maybe it wouldn’t do any harm to have a talk to David he thought. He got himself wound up over not having man in his life so much that it was quite bad really. Dom took the card from Stacey and gave her another smile with a curled lip, “Alright Stace thanks. It might actually do me some good who knows.” Stacey then added that he was to remember that he could always talk to her as well. Well he knew that because Stacey was his best friend. So they might not have been in each other’s lives for a while, but they were now and if Dom had anything to do with it, then they would never lose touch with each other again. “I know that Stace and thanks.” Dom pulled her into another hug then. So if he saw David and he felt it didn’t do him much good then he knew he could call on Stacey and talk her ear off about how he was feeling instead. After Dom had said to Stacey that now she was a part of his life he didn’t want it to stop she had replied saying she would be a part of his life when she could, well he couldn’t ask for more than that and he gave her a bright smile. “I’m pleased to hear that sister.”
When Dom had made his comment about his privates being gone it had caused the both of them to laugh hysterically and he had said his stomach was sore, which had prompted Stacey to ask him what did he think it was like for her as she had a whole other person inside probably wondering what the hell was going on. Of course this just made Dominic laugh all the more, “I’m sorry Stace.” He managed to stay between the giggles and hearing Stacey laughing as well wasn’t helping the situation any, he did eventually manage to compose himself and bit down on his bottom lip slightly grinning at Stacey. When Stacey said she had missed them laughing together he smiled warmly at her and then replied, “Me too sister.”
When Dom had asked Stacey if she had forgotten about his Enhanced Memory he saw her bite on her bottom lip which made him know that she had, well really they had been away from school for quite some time now it was only to be expected which meant she had probably forgotten about his additional abilities to fly and be super human. Stacey had then gone on to say about the time she was drugged and she was able to produce fire from her hands for a short time. “That would have been Pyrokinesis you had, I can imagine it scared you.” Dom said giving her a sympathetic smile. Dom had then mentioned about taking her up into the skies with him when the baby was born talking about using his ability of flight, but when Stacey replied it would seem she might not have gotten what he was referring to. “Well Stace sugar, I did say after the baby was born and I wondered if you had forgotten about my additional abilities, it seems you have. I can fly too remember. I wasn’t talking about taking you on a plane, I was talking about flying with you in my arms, or just flying you up to the top of the highest building to sit and look out at the view.”
When Dom had said to Stacey that they should go out for a celebratory meal after the baby was born so she could eat roast pork, the dish she hadn’t been able to eat much of during her pregnancy he couldn’t help but give her a bright smile when she said it might not be a bad idea and went on to say it would depend on how long it would take for her tastes to go back to normal. Dom nodded his head, “Well Stace sugar, all in good time, when you’re ready, you know to just give Dom a call and we can organise it.” He smiled brightly at her, besides he might not be available either, if his slave driver of a manager had him doing something which was to do with his career, even if Dom did secretly enjoy it, sometimes it was a curse when his everyday life was affected because of his star status.
Dom shook his head slightly when Stacey said that he would soon know where they lived and he wasn’t to forget about them when he became a bigger star than he was already. “I’ll never forget about you sister and you know that. I’m not going to lose my best girl again after I just got her back.” He replied as he gently squeezed her hand and grinned at her and then winked. Even if he did get superstar status overseas he knew his heart would always belong in Laughlin so there was no way Stacey would lose him as a friend again.
When Stacey said that she would still feel like a tiny idiot if the baby turned out to be a boy, Dominic had to giggle slightly and then he sighed and then replied, “Well, alright, maybe you would look a little foolish, so let’s just pray that she is a she then.” However, Dominic just had this feeling that Stacey was right, intuition in a woman was often very strong, so now he was hoping for Stacey’s sake that she was having a girl, he hoped she was having a girl because he couldn’t wait to spoil the baby as she got older and buy her all these pretty dresses. Yes, Dominic was very much a girl trapped in a guy’s body but he didn’t care.
After the whole twins thing was over with Dominic had told Stacey that there was plenty of time for her to make up her mind on whether she wanted another baby or not. He had to smile when Stacey replied saying that she would like to have another with David adding that the baby she was currently carrying wasn’t technically David’s even though she was proud to see him as the father of the child. Dom could understand Stacey wanting to have another child with the man she loved. He nodded his head, “I can understand that Stace sugar and I am sure when the time is right for both of you that David would be over the moon.” Even though Dominic hadn’t met David yet he just had this feeling that’s how he would be just from hearing Stacey talk about him.
When Stacey spoke about having to go out and get some more shirts as the ones she had weren’t fitting as good, he clapped his hands together and grinned at her, “Ooh goody, Dominic loves shopping trips, please say I can come and go shopping with you, I can tell what’s good and what isn’t, although as I said before you were always fashion formidable.” But really it had been too long since Dominic had gone on a shopping trip with one of his female friends and he always loved it. He loved flamboyantly telling them what looked good in his eyes and telling them what they would need to accessorise their outfit more. Sometimes he wondered if he should have been a fashion queen instead of a professional singer, however he settled for being a singer first and foremost and a part time fashion guru second. Then Dom had given Stacey his motto about life when she had been talking about cutting back on the ice cream and when she said that she guessed he was right and she should enjoy the fattening food he grinned at her, “That’s my girl.”
When Stacey agreed that she should concentrate on the now with him and David and then patted his arm, he smiled and nodded his head, “That’s exactly what you should do Stace, after all...” Dom then began to burst into song singing one of his old favourite songs by D:Ream from the early nineties, ... “Things can only get better, can only get, can only get, they get on from here, you know, I know that, things can only get better.” Then there was comments made about Dom possibly being a therapist as well and Stacey said maybe David could give him some tips on how to deal with his manager although he seemed to do well earlier. Dom laughed out loud, “Oh Stace, sugar I have Xander well and truly under my thumb, I think he sometimes wonders what he’s let himself in for with me, but keeps me because I’m making money.” He giggled furiously then, really Xander wasn’t so bad, only when he tried to make Dom do things when all he wanted to do was relax or spend time with his friends, like today.
Dom nodded his head and smiled brightly when Stacey said that maybe everyone was referring to the baby as a she because she was. It was understandable in a way, because Dom knew if he got something into his head he found it difficult to shift. After the comment was made about the baby being a good soccer player Dominic had made it clearly known that he hadn’t thought about that because he didn’t mix girls with the idea of football and that he hated it himself. Dom couldn’t help but laugh along with Stacey when she said she knew he didn’t like football and that it had been made clear at school. “Well yes, that’s because I refused to play, well they were always so rough Stace, I lost count the amount of times I got kicked and ended up in bruises, not fun.” Dom said and pulled a face and then laughed along with Stacey some more.
When Stacey said she would have to listen to his cd some more so that she, as in the baby, would know what her family was like Dominic felt tears stinging at his eyes again. He put his hand up to his mouth and gasped slightly, “Oh Stace, that’s one of the nicest things someone’s ever said, although I have to admit that I class you as family as well, but you know that, right?” Dom said as he gently squeezed Stacey’s hand again. He then had to wipe at his eyes, because really he had so much eyeliner on that he would end up in a terrible mess if he didn’t watch what he was doing. Now he knew how a bride felt on her wedding day and desperately tried not to cry so she wouldn’t ruin her make-up.
Once they were inside Dom’s luxurious apartment and Stacey had commented on his cd’s and dvd’s being in alphabetical order, he had then gone on to explain about how he needed certain things in certain areas and how the doctor had put it down to him having a slight case of OCD. He had to giggle when Stacey said that she wasn’t quite that bad and maybe he did have a case of OCD, “Oh Stace sugar, I know I do. My bank notes have to be all up the right way too, if I pull out notes from my wallet and one is back to front or upside down I frantically fix it so that it’s the same as the others, it’s damned awful.” However Dom could laugh at himself and so he giggled again after he told her that.
When Stacey had said he would need to give her a tour of his apartment, he said that he would do it after they had watched a movie, because he felt she needed to rest up after walking to his apartment in the first place. He grinned as Stacey said it sounded good, there was no way he would even have thought about giving her a tour of his apartment until he had known Stacey had rested up for a bit. He would probably end up being worse for fussing over than David would be in the end, which was kind of funny really. Dom had then gone to get them a drink and asked Stacey if she wanted some popcorn which she had said as long as there was peanut butter to dip it into. Dom had replied saying sure thing and soon enough he had brought out everything on a tray to the table in the lounge room.
When Stacey thanked him he smiled brightly at her, “No worries sister.” He replied and then he got the dvd to the start of the movie and had turned to Stacey saying it was going to be amazing watching it with his best girl. He had to smile warmly as Stacey thanked him and then said she couldn’t wait to watch it with her best friend. Dom nudged into her then and then with his free hand he took one of Stacey’s free hands and then intertwined his pinkie finger around Stacey’s pinkie finger, “Best friends forever and always.” He said and then Stacey said maybe they could watch another one after ‘Love Actually’, her choice of course and then added unless he had somewhere to be that afternoon. Dominic shook his head, “I don’t have anywhere to be sister, I’m free all day and evening if you like. So sure, you can pick the next movie. You never have to be home alone sister if I’m not busy.” With that he grabbed for the box of tissues and put them between them because he knew for a certainty that he would most definitely need them at some point and then leaned back to watch the movie.
