Saturday, 23rd January 2010 Allison quickly got out of the shower, and dried herself off. She knew she was rushing, and really looking at the time she didn't have to, but she was a little excited. Ally hadn't been out of an official date for a while, and she was a little excited to go on this date with Marcus. The story behind how they met would never get old, and she had confided in one of her co-workers at the music store that day. He would always be the guy who had fallen into her lap, and soon after got the instant attraction. It had never happened to Ally, but it seemed that love was on her side at this point in time, and she was happy about that. Ally had soon managed to pull on a nice purple long sleeve top, one that would show some cleavage, and a pair of her favourite dress jeans. She was never one to wear dressees all the time, so this was no exception. Ally liked to be comfortable, as she knew she was going to be with Marcus. He was everything that she had hoped she would find, and last night it was dropped into her lap, literally. After applying some make up, and picking up and putting on her black coat, Ally slipped on a her favourite pair of black high heels, and then move out into the entrance of her apartment, picking up her bag and keys. After stepping out and locking the door behind her, Ally wrapped her coat around her tighter, and headed in the direction of the restaurant a block away. It was called Bryant Park Grill. So it was sure to have something there for them to eat that wasn't truly out there, or too spicy. Something that they could enjoy with the good company. That made Ally smile to herself. She couldn't wait to officially start dating Marcus, who seemed like a genuine guy. She reached the restaurant, and stood outside, hoping that she wasn't too early, looking at her phone she was about ten minutes.

It was the following day after Marcus had met the wonderful Allison when he had literally fallen for her, right into her lap no less. Well that’s what happened when you were being hassled and you were stepping backward and not looking where you were going. However the landing by far a very pleasant one and it had led to a mutual instant attraction between the two which had ultimately led to a rather passionate kiss between them on the dance floor. The night ended with them both agreeing to an official date which Marcus had suggested dinner followed by a movie, and today was the day and needless to say Marcus was slightly nervous despite the fact that he had been on his game the night before.
It was almost as if it had finally hit home to him just how stunningly beautiful Ally was and to top it all she was British like him, alright so English against Irish, but British just the same. He loved it. Just thinking about how she speaks made a smile spread over his face. He honestly couldn’t wait to meet her and spend some quality time with her. Marcus hadn’t had many women in his life and of the ones he did have, one of them he felt he had made a terrible mistake with, he should never have let Jo go, it wasn’t her fault that she had a rough time of it, he should have been there for and he wasn’t and even now after meeting Ally he still felt like a bit of a bastard for letting her go. However he knew that she was married and happy with her life because Emma had updated him as the two of them were still friends and Marcus was glad that their friendship hadn’t changed due to his being so stupid.
However it wasn’t a time for dwelling on the past and mistakes, this was going to hopefully be the start of a whole new relationship for Marcus and one which he hoped would be full of fun which he felt it would be if last night was anything to go by. So he was dressed in black dressed denims, a cream button down shirt which was opened at the neck and a black leather jacket. Looking in the mirror after splashing on some Fahrenheit aftershave he felt he was good to go and he picked up his keys and made his way to the place they had agreed to meet at, a restaurant called ‘Bryant Park Grill’. As he approached he saw her and even with the coat on he couldn’t help but think she still looked as stunningly beautiful as she did last night. He silently walked up behind her because he was in a slightly teasing mood and then quickly put his hands over her eyes and then leant into her ear and whispered.
“Guess who?” He then took in a breath and as he did so took in her scent and it sent a shiver down his spine and then regaining his composure he continued, “And I have to say ye’re still looking as beautiful as ye did last noight me good woman.” He then dropped his hands from her eyes and turned her around gently to face him and not caring about the fact they were outside the restaurant and anybody could see he planted his lips on her and kissed her with deep passion as he moved both his hands to either side of her face.

Ally played around with her phone for a minute, before putting it back into her small black bag. As she closed her bag up, and looked head, she felt a pair of hands over her eyes. Ally could smell the aftershave, soon remembering it. A smile spread across her lips, as she felt his breath on her ear, and then he whispered 'guess who'. The smile got bigger, "Well, I am not sure. Is it the man of my dreams?" This comment made her giggle a little. He may just be that to her right now, and maybe for a while yet.
Ally's heart beated fast for a couple of seconds as Marcus breathed in, then commented on how she looked. She closed her eyes for a second, then felt the hands move from her eyes, allowing her to see ahead of her again, then felt herself being turned, and moved her feet to move herself around to face Marcus. Ally gave him a half smile, as she looked at every inch of him. Then he kissed her, moving his hands to her face. Ally again closed her eyes, enjoying the kiss, joining in with as much passion as she felt form Marcus. She murmured a little, feeling her own hands reach up and rest on his arms, and then started to rub them slightly up and down.
Ally knew that if they continued this make out session, they wouldn't make it into the restaurant. She slowly pulled away, and slowly opened her eyes. Licking her lips slowly, Ally gave him a cheeky grin, "Well, Mr. Woods, that was quite a kiss. I hope the food tastes as good as that did." Ally slid her teeth along her lip, pulling a little at it, then let go, allowing a grin to spread across her face. "Let's go, shall we?" She grabbed his hand, and led him in the direction of the entrance.
The door was already open, and Ally moved inside before Marcus. A waiter came over to them, "Table for two?" Ally nodded, and followed the waiter to the table. She looked back at Marcus, and felt like tonight was going to be a good night.

When Marcus had put his hands over her eyes and said ‘guess who’ Ally replied saying she wasn’t sure and then asked if it was the man of her dreams. This made Marcus chuckle a little, “Aye it could be, if that’s the way ye see me loike.” Marcus then chuckled along with Ally’s giggle which he was going to love more each time he heard it and if that was how Ally saw him he wasn’t going to complain because he was pretty sure that Ally was the woman of his dreams. Marcus had then commented on how Ally looked and had then dropped his hands from her eyes and turned her around to face him. He had then leant in and kissed her not caring about who could see. He put a fair bit of passion into the kiss and felt Ally do the same and heard her murmur slightly as they kissed which made him do the same thing. He soon felt her hands on his arms and felt them rubbing up and down which just made him murmur all the more. He was most definitely in lust with Ally, it was an immediate attraction and one which he hoped would continue to grow.
Marcus then felt Ally pull slowly away from the embrace and watched as she opened her eyes slowly and then he saw her licking her lips slowly and remark that it was quite a kiss calling him Mr. Woods. He couldn’t help but give her a cheeky grin and even more so when she added to the comment saying she hoped the food tasted as good as that kiss had. “Aye, I hope so although I have to say that I loike the way ye taste, it’s unique.” He gave her another cheeky grin and then Ally said for them to go as he grabbed his hand and led them into the restaurant. “Aye, let’s go then.” He replied and chuckled a little at the way she grabbed his hand.
They were soon inside and a waiter approached them asking if they wanted a table for two and Ally nodded and soon they followed the waiter to the table in question. Marcus took his jacket off and placed it over the back of the chair knowing that he wouldn’t get the benefit of it when they left if he kept it on inside. He then made his way to the other side and pulled Ally’s chair out for her and then waited for her to sit down before he went back to the other side and the waiter soon returned and handed them a menu each. Marcus thanked the waiter and then as he opened the menu he peeked over the top of it, “Order anything ye loike alroight, I just want ye to know that money isn’t an object tonoight.” He wasn’t sure if it needed saying but he would hate for Ally to want something she felt was maybe too expensive, he didn’t care about that, he just wanted for them to have fun and Marcus had enough money going spare.

After Ally said that she didn't know, and asked if it was the man of her dreams, Marcus chuckled, saying it could be, if that was the way she saw him. This made Ally giggle more, as she might be seeing him as that already, after only one day. Once Ally was facing Marcus, he lent in and kissed her. Ally really enjoyed the kiss, and when they pulled apart, she had licked her lips slowly, and said that it was quiet a kiss, adding that she hoped that the food tasted as good as that kiss did. Marcus seemed to agree with what she said, saying that he liked the way she tasted, adding that it was unique. Seeing that cheeky grin, when she questioned in her head what he meant by 'unique', she giggled more.
Ally then grabbed Marcus' hand, and headed towards the restaurant. Inside the waiter greeted them, and showed them to a table. Ally watched as Marcus took his jacket off, and then went to grab her chair, but he was soon there to pull it out for her. She gave him a smile, then sat down, moving it with her as she moved closer to the table. The waiter left them, then came back with the menu's. Ally took one, nodding towards the waiter, and then opened it. As she browsed, she heard Marcus say that she could order anything she liked. Ally looked up, and saw him peering over the top of his menu. She grinned, thinking it was cute, and nodded. "Okay. Thank you."
Eyeing off the menu, and soon saw what she wanted. She looked up at Marcus, "I think I might have the mixed baby green salad to start off with. Then for dinner will have the Steak Frites. Sounds rather nice." Ally closed the menu, then thought about what she might drink. "And, might as well order a drink when the waiter comes back. Might just have what I had last night." Ally looked at Marcus more, giving him a cheeky grin.

After Marcus had said to Ally that he could be the man of her dreams if that’s the way she saw him he heard her giggle which made Marcus chuckle all the more. He had then gone in to kiss her, one which became rather passionate. When they stopped the embrace and Ally had said that she hoped the food tasted just as good Marcus had agreed saying that he liked the way she tasted as it was unique. Ally giggled at him saying this and it made him grin all the more and then he winked at her.
They had then went into the restaurant and soon they were led to a table by a waiter and after taking his jacket off he went over and pulled out Ally’s chair for her. Soon enough the waiter returned with the menus and as Marcus began looking through his, he peeked over the top of his and told Ally she was to order anything she liked. He saw her grinning at him which made him grin back even if she didn’t see it, although his eyes would probably give it away as they would no doubt be sparkling like always. Ally replied saying okay and thanked him. Marcus replied saying, “No problem me good woman.”
Soon enough he heard Ally speak saying what she would like to get. Marcus put the menu he had been holding to the side and smiled at her, “That sounds good loike; I think I’m going to have the Caesar Salad to start and the Mediterranean Chicken meself. We can order a dessert after loike if ye think ye would want one.” Marcus replied and grinned at her knowing that he would maybe like a dessert after the meal. Ally then mentioned about getting a drink as well, saying she might have what she had last night. He saw that cheeky grin of hers and he knew he had to say what he said next.
“Aye, so would that be Marcus in Your Lap Special Cocktail? Because if it is ye know I could happily oblige ye again.” Marcus went into a bit of laughter then with his eyes twinkling and then he shook his head and smiled, “Or would it be the Cosmo? I think I moight get meself a Guinness, I can’t seem to get meself enough of that loike.” He chuckled and just then the waiter came back to take their orders. Marcus told him what they would both like and once Ally had confirmed her choice of drink he ordered those two and the waiter acknowledged with a nod of the head saying he would bring the drinks over first.

Ally soon said what she would like to eat, and Marcus acknowledged, stating what he was thinking of having. Though the next thing he had to say made her smirk a little. She tried to hold a smile back, as she spoke to him, leaning forward a little. "It depends on what there is to offer on the dessert menu." Ally quickly raised her eyebrows once, then sat back giggling a little. Once she stopped, she pouted her lips a little, "If you catch my drift." Ally had no doubt in her mind that Marcus didn't have a clue, as he seemed like the type of person who got little gestures like that one.
When Ally said that she might have the drink that she had last night, she had given him a cheeky grin. Marcus soon played on what she said, and she had to laugh out loud a little. Though Ally then shook her head, smiling like mad. She was definately having fun already, and they hadn't even started eating yet, let alone ordered what they wanted. Though she knew deep down what she wanted, and it was definately not on the menu.
Marcus soon confirmed the drink of choice for her, which Ally nodded at, and he also stated what he wanted to drink, which made her smile a little. So it seemed that they both had their choice of drinks, and she made a mental note to take on what he liked. The waiter came back, and Ally watched as Marcus told him what they both wanted in the way of food, and what they wanted to drink. The waiter soon left them, and she then glanced at Marcus. "So, I guess I should ask what sort of fun you are into, besides the kind of fun we got up to last night." Ally moved her hand forward, and touched Marcus' fingers, beginning to play with them a bit.

When Marcus had spoken about getting dessert and they could order it later he saw that smirk and then noticed that she was trying to hold back a smile as she responded saying that it would depend on what there was to offer on the dessert menu. Ally had then sat back and said if he caught her drift. He knew exactly what she was getting at but to tease her he flipped the menu over and began to read out a few, “Well let’s see, there’s Belgian Chocolate Cake if ye loike, New York Cheesecake, Banana Brioche, Strawberry Shortcake...” He trailed off as he turned the menu back to the main meals and appetizers and then looked up from the menu again and with his eyes twinkling he added, “Or there’s the special loike, it’s called Marcus Supreme and I just noticed that there’s Ally Delight, I think I’d loike to try that one meself.” He began to chuckle then and he couldn’t deny that he was enjoying the playful banter between them both. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d had fun like that.
When Ally had said she would have the drink she had last night Marcus had played on that by asking if it was the ‘Marcus in Your Lap Special Cocktail’ saying he would happily oblige again and then went into a bit of laughter. He soon heard Ally laugh out loud at what he had said and then saw her shake her head smiling like mad which made Marcus grin at her. He was definitely enjoying the connection the two of them had together. They just seemed to be able to get each other’s quirky and risqué humour which he loved. Marcus then confirmed the actual drink was Cosmo and Ally nodded agreeing that was the drink she wanted. Marcus had then mentioned about getting himself a Guinness as that was definitely his drink of choice.
The waiter had soon approached and Marcus had put in their order for food and what they wanted to drink and the waiter left them to put their orders in. Marcus then saw Ally looking at him then she asked what kind of fun he was into besides the fun they had last night. He grinned, “Well last noight is the best kind of fun in me opinion, but I quite loike listening to rock music and oh I have a passion for rock climbing loike, I find it give me a bit of an adrenaline rush ye know? And of course I love going out to noight clubs and I would class spending as much toime with ye as possible fun as well.” He winked at her and grinned and then wondered if he should turn her question back to her. “So then since I told ye what I class as fun other than last noight, what about your good self, what does Ally loike to do for fun other than what we did last noight?”

After Ally made the dessert comment, she soon watched him take the menu, and saw that he was looking at the desserts. She continued to sit back, and just let him tell her what was on the menu. The things he was calling out to her sounded great, but still not what she was really after. Though he soon stopped, and she raised her eyebrows a little, wondering if that was all there was. She sighed a little, but then Marcus continued.
He had looked up, and said that there was the special, and made Ally smile a little, nodding slightly. Hearing the specials made her murmur a little, letting her eyes close, pretending to picture what they would be like. When she opened her eyes, hearing the last part that Marcus said, made her lean forward, reaching for his hand. "Well I can see that we can have one of each. I will have the Marcus Supreme, and you can have the Ally Delight. I am sure both are just as good as each other."
After the waiter had taken their drink and food order, they were alone. Though Ally soon asked Marcus what kind of fun he was into, besides the fun they had last night. He spoke of last night again, which made Ally giggle a little, but Marcus then went on about what else he liked to do. Ally nodded at what he said. It sounded to her that he was very adventurous, and wondered if that was his style when in the bedroom. Though she quickly took that thought and put it in the back of her mind. Why was she thinking like that? But she could answer her question straight away: because you have very strong feelings for him.
Ally smiled a little when Marcus commented that he would class spending as much time as possible with her as fun as well. "Well I am glad that you think that I am a lot of fun. And I have also have to say that what you like to do, in regards to rock climbing, that you are a little adventurous?" Then Marcus asked her the same question, asking what she liked to do for fun, other than what they did last night. "Well," Ally said, looking out the corner of her eyes, then looked back at Marcus, smirking a little.
"Well last night is going to be hard to top, but I will try." She sat back in her chair, and started to tell Marcus. "Well I love music as well, which is pretty much why I am looking after the music store, that I am half owner of as well. Partying is also one of my favourite past times, but only when I have the time, as the shop does sometimes takes first preference. I love going to the movies, and I have to say that my all time favourite possession would have to be my iPod. Don't go anywhere without it." Ally then looked Marcus up and down, "And I can see a certain someone being up there with not going anywhere without him." She laughed a little at that last comment. Ally knew for sure that that would be the truth.

When Ally had asked about the desserts, Marcus had known full well what she was referring to but had decided to play on it by reading out the desserts on the menu but eventually added in about there also being Marcus Supreme and Ally Delight knowing that was what Ally was really referring to and he had then said that he liked the sound of Ally Delight himself. He soon saw Ally reach forward and take his hand and she said that she could see that they could have one of each adding that she was sure that one was as good as the other. Marcus grinned at Ally with his eyes twinkling, “Aye, I’m not going to argue with ye there me good woman, and I know that I’m not going to be able to contain meself now until it comes toime for me to get me dessert loike.” He gently squeezed Ally’s hand which had taken his own.
Ally had asked Marcus what he liked to do for fun other than the fun they’d had the night before and after Marcus had answered her adding that he would find spending as much time with her as possible fun Ally replied saying that she was glad he thought of her as a lot of fun adding that she had to assume he was a little adventurous if the rock climbing was anything to go on. He began to chuckle with his eyes twinkling, “Aye well ye could say that loike. I just love anything that gives ye an adrenaline rush whether that is rock climbing or white water rafting. Do ye loike the sound of me being adventurous loike?” Marcus asked and chuckled again as his eyes continued to twinkle at Ally.
Marcus had then asked the same question to Ally and he couldn’t stop smiling when she began to speak saying that last night was going to be hard to top but she would try. He shook his head and smirked, “I am sure ye’ll be able to top it somehow.” He chuckled and then listened to what else Ally had to say. Marcus nodded his head in a few places and continued to smile the more Ally spoke not wanting to interrupt her at all. “So it would seem to me that music is a big part of ye’re loife then, what with running a music store and loving to listen to it. Music is great I often get sad when I foind out about someone being deaf and not being able to appreciate music because they can’t hear it ye know?” Marcus said in a slight sad voice but not really meaning to bring their conversation down at all.
Marcus had then gone back to the last thing Ally had said about someone else being up there with not going anywhere without him. Marcus smiled at Ally and then felt his heart beat faster than it had in a while. “Well Ally me good woman, I loike the sound of that because I don’t think there’s going to be many places I’ll want to go without yer good self.” Marcus sighed a little knowing that to be the case because he had to admit it to himself; he had fallen hard for Ally in such a short space of time. It had happened to him twice before, he just hoped this time it would last the pace. “I’ve gotta admit to ye loike that I’ve fallen for ye good and proper.” The waiter then returned with their drinks placing the right one down in front of Ally and then Marcus. Marcus thanked the waiter and he then left them alone again.
“So, are ye still up for a movie after the dinner loike, and if so anything ye fancy going to see?” He asked wanting the movie to be Ally’s choice as he’d happily go and see anything so long as he was in the company of Ally it wouldn’t really matter to him either way how good or bad the movie might be.

Hearing what Marcus had to say in reply to what Ally said about the 'desserts' made her smile at him. She moved her hand over his, that had given her own a squeeze, looking down at their hands touching. "Well we might just have to hurry through dinner then." Ally looked up, and sighed a little, as she locked her eyes with Marcus'. The talk of having that kind of 'dessert' was kind of turning her on slightly. But a date was a date, and she was going to hold off on her urges for now.
Marcus added to the comment about him being adventurous, and Ally sat forward with her chin in her hand. Just thinking about doing those things were definately getting her heart racing, but she didn't know if she would have the guts to do that. When he asked her if she liked the sound of him being adventurous, there was no hesitation, Ally nodded, sitting up. "I do, and it does sound all intriguing, though I do not know if I would be able to do those sort of activities. I guess you would call me a chicken." Ally liked the sound of them all, but she knew that if she was right there, after agreeing, she would definately chicken out.
Ally knew that most people, of not all, liked music in some form, and hearing what Marcus was saying about it being sad about deaf people made her nod. "I really do understand that. And yes, music is just a part of my life in a big way." Ally bent down to her bag, and pulled out her iPod, holding it up, "And see, it is always with me." She smiled then giggled, placing it back in her bag.
Hearing what Marcus had to say about liking what she said about him being up there with not going anywhere without him, made Ally smile, and slightly blush. It felt nice to know that they both seemed to be on the same page. In a way Ally knew that she might have finally found a good guy to be with. Though the next thing that Marcus said really did make her blush. Ally placed her hands on the table, and looked down at them. Was this really happening to her? In a million years, she didn't think she would feel this way about anyone. But Marcus was definately one in a million in her eyes.
Ally slowly looked up at Marcus, grinning from ear to ear. "Well, I am very glad that you said that. I feel the same way towards you." She sighed a little, unable to stop grinning at him. When the waiter brought over their drinks, she gave them a nod, and then quickly took a small sip. Ally eyed off Marcus, and her heart started to flutter at the prospect of Marcus as her boyfriend. How did she manage to get a hold of such an amazing guy. Though her head was soon telling her that she had to keep an open mind. Of cause she would, but her heart was definately over ruling her head by a million to one.
Marcus then asked her if she was still up for a movie after dinner, and if she had an idea of what she fancied seeing. Ally played with the straw in her drink, and then looked at Marcus. "I don't have any specific movie in mind really. I guess we can just see what is playing at that time." Ally was pretty easy going with movies, "Just as long as it isn't some mindless movie, it will be fine." Though, Ally thought to herself, if it was some mindless movie, she was sure to find some fun with Marcus in the theatre. That made her smile to herself, as she sipped on her drink more.

When Marcus had squeezed Ally’s hand she had put her hand over his and then spoke saying that they might have to hurry through dinner Marcus smiled and winked at her believing that to be a very good idea. He then caught Ally looking up into his eyes and he didn’t shift his gaze from her eyes at all. The kind of dessert that the both of them were having in mind was sounding very good to Marcus. “I have to say that I loike that idea very much ye know.” He then looked down at their hands together and then back up into Ally’s eyes and couldn’t believe that the chemistry between them was happening so fast. Marcus couldn’t help but wonder if this was what falling in love at first sight was like, or maybe it was lust, but whatever it was he sure liked the feeling.
When Marcus had asked Ally if she liked the sound of him being adventurous he watched as she sat up a bit and then nodded her head. Ally then replied saying that she did and it all sounded very intriguing but didn’t know if she would be able to do those sorts of activities calling herself a chicken. Marcus grinned a little but shook his head, “No Ally me good woman ye aren’t a chicken, I’d say ye were being damned sensible.” After all some of the things Marcus liked to do did come with an element of danger and he had this feeling come over him that he wouldn’t want anything happening to Ally. “Ye have to remember too loike about me ability, it’s impossible for me to hurt meself unlike ye’re good self I imagine.”
When they got talking about music and Marcus had made the comment about it being sad for deaf people Ally nodded and said she understood that adding that music was a part of her life in a big way and had then bent down to her bag and pulled out her iPod exclaiming that it was always with her. “Aye, those things are amazing; I quite often go to sleep listening to me iPod meself loike.” He would then waken in the middle of the night with the headphones wrapped around his neck somewhere and the wire almost strangling him, it was just as well he had the ability that he had, it meant that no matter how tight the wire was wrapped around him it never did him any damage.
When Marcus had told Ally that he had to admit that he had fallen for her good and proper he saw Ally blush and then he watched as she slowly looked up at him grinning and then spoke saying that she was glad he had said that because she felt the same way towards him. Marcus felt his heart skip a beat inside when he heard her saying that because although he had an idea she felt the same way he hadn’t wanted to just assume because he was clever enough to know that assumptions where the mother of all fuck ups in life. “Well that’s good to know loike me good woman, so what do ye think it is? Love at first soight, or lust at first soight?” He asked in a slight teasing way as he winked at her with his eyes sparkling.
Marcus had then asked if she still wanted to go and see a movie after and if so what she fancied going to see. Ally replied saying that she didn’t have any specific movie in mind really and to see what they are playing but had added about not going to see some mindless movie. Marcus nodded his head, “I agree with ye there, I must admit that I loike action and drama type movies meself, although I can enjoy a good rom-com too.” They could just wait until they were at the cinema and then decide on what they wanted to go and see and if it transpired there was nothing either of them fancied seeing, then maybe they could just make their own movie at his open plan penthouse apartment or Ally’s own. He then thought it wouldn’t do any harm to get that thought out there if nothing else Ally would have a good laugh at it he was sure.
“Although, I have to say loike, if there’s nothing on we fancy, maybe we can come back to either of our places and we can make our own movie.” Marcus then chuckled out rather loudly and shook his head, “Sorry that was a bit cheesy loike.”

When Marcus said that he liked the idea that Ally had given very much, she gave him a smirk, then a smile. She was glad he liked it, and watched him look from their hands together, back to her eyes. Ally slowly looked at each of his eyes, still not believing that she had met him, and how easy it was to talk and muck around with Marcus. Definately going to be a keeper.
Ally kind of half laughed, when Marcus said she wasn't a chicken, saying she was being sensible. It seemed to her that he was kind of complimenting her, as well kind of protecting her, and not making fun of her at all. All of that brought a warm feeling over her, and she liked it. Marcus then pointed out about his ability, which made Ally nod. "I guess you are right. Kind of like your personal armour." She gave him a bit of a smile. "And yes, I imagine I would get injured. Though if I played the right music, I might be able to use my ability of strength." She sometimes hoped that one day she might play the right music to gain the ability of regeneration.
Ally listened to what Marcus said about iPod's were amazing, saying that he quite often went to sleep listening to his. She gave him a smile, "They are good, and actually have two. My smaller one I will listen to in bed, only if I am finding it hard to sleep, other than that, I can go to sleep within five seconds." She giggled a little. Most nights she would be tired, and would just crawl in to bed, and fall asleep straight away. Though there was the odd night when she would toss and turn, and put on an album that would make her sleep, or help at least.
After Ally told him that she felt the same away towards him, in regards to what he said, she listened to him comment after that. She looked away again, smiling even more, and then looked back at Marcus, as he asked her what did she think it was, love at first sight, or lust at first sight. Ally put her elbow on the table, and rested her chin in her hand. She looked right at Marcus, kind of squinting, thinking about it for a couple of seconds. Ally shook her head a little, "I am not sure what it is. Though I guess as time go on we will figure it all out." She sighed a little, and then gave Marcus a warm smile. Whatever it was, Ally knew that if it was true love, then it was sure to hit her pretty hard.
When the discussion of a movie came about, Ally had told him what her thoughts on the matter was. But thinking about what they could do if the movie was kind of lame, made her smile a little. Marcus agreed with her about what she said, adding that he liked action and drama type movies. Then he added that he could also enjoy a good rom-com. "Well which ever movie we decide on, I am sure that we will enjoy it." Ally sipped on her drink again, thinking about what movies were on. Due to work she hadn't really had a chance to really get out there and see what was playing.
Then Marcus spoke again, and Ally removed her mouth from her straw, taking in what he was saying. Just hearing that comment made Ally open her mouth wide, like she couldn't believe what he had just said. Her hand flew to her mouth, trying to contain her laughter as it soon started. As she laughed behind her hand, Marcus apologised, saying that it was a bit cheesy. Her laughing soon subsided, and she removed her hand from her mouth. "Does that line always work?" She giggled a bit, then found herself a bit more composed.
Ally sat back in her chair, and just stared at Marcus. "Though the idea of going back to your place sounds nice."

When Marcus had told Ally that she wasn’t a chicken but more sensible he had then pointed out about his ability, making the dangerous things he loved easier to do knowing that there was no physical way for him to get hurt. He did wonder if he would be completely invincible, like would he be safe from a bullet or not? He had to assume that he would be but as he had never been shot at it was difficult to know for certain if his body armour as Ally had called it would shield him from bullets or not. “Aye, I guess ye could say that loike although I have to admit I don’t know how far it extends, loike I’ve never been shot at, not that I would want to be moind, but I’ve often wondered would it stop a bullet from going through me, ye know.” Marcus said and shook his head slightly knowing that he had just brought the conversation down a little but they were thoughts that had run through his mind from time to time and since they seemed to be getting on well enough he figured he might as well tell her what he sometimes thought about his personal armour.
When Ally had continued and mentioned about using her ability of strength Marcus gave her a smile, “Aye using your strength ability moight be good but it wouldn’t make ye invincible ye know, ye could still get hurt loike.” Marcus said and looked down a little and then slowly looked back up into Ally’s eyes, “And well I wouldn’t loike that. I couldn’t stand to see ye getting hurt.” Marcus already had this urge to protect Ally at every cost and he knew that if anything ever happened to her he’d likely lose it. It was strange to feel so strong like that so soon and yet at the same time it felt so right.
As they spoke about iPods Marcus had told Ally that he quite often fell asleep listening to his and he had to smile as Ally replied saying that she actually had two and he continued to listen to her talk about the both of them. When Ally giggled a little it made Marcus chuckle. “Well I don’t listen to me iPod because I can’t sleep or anything loike that, I listen to it because I loike listening to music as I sleep and they have auto turn off ye know, saves me from having to get in the middle of the noight and turn off me stereo.” He remembered when he did have to do that and ever since he got his iPod he had never looked back. “Half the toime I don’t get to hear the whole album I’m listening to at the toime.” Marcus said and then chuckled. He had lost count the amount of times he had woken up in the morning or in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and chuckle when he realised that the last song he had heard was like track three and wondered what had happened to the rest of them. Well he had slept through them naturally.
When Marcus had asked Ally what she thought it was going on between them, love or lust at first sight he watched as she rested her arm on the table and then placed her chin onto her hand and then she shook her head saying she wasn’t sure what it was adding that she guessed as time went on they would figure it out. Marcus looked right into her eyes and slowly nodded his head, “Aye, I guess we will loike.” He had a fair idea what he was feeling, but didn’t want to think too far ahead of himself at the same time, but whatever it was he was enjoying it and he sure hoped it was going to last, after all he had two relationships pretty much crash and burn in quick succession, one which he admitted was his own fault and the other, well he wasn’t sure what happened to Jules, she just disappeared.
When the conversation turned to talk of which movie to go and see he had to smile when Ally said that whichever movie they decided on they would be sure to enjoy it. “Aye I’m sure we will.” Marcus replied but then he had a thought, a fairly cheesy thought but a thought just the same about how they could make their own movie if nothing took their fancy at the cinema. In fact the more he thought about it, the more he wondered if just heading back to either Ally’s place or his would be a much better idea than going to a movie. He watched as Ally’s mouth opened wide and he immediately regretted his cheesy line at least until the point where Ally began to laugh behind the hand which had gone to her mouth. Marcus had apologised for his cheesy line then and couldn’t help but chuckle some more. When Ally asked if that line always worked Marcus shook his head, “Well to be honest with ye me good woman, I’ve not used the loine on anyone else before, there hasn’t been anybody else I’d loike to use that loine on.” He smiled at Ally then and winked at her with his eyes sparkling like they always did when he was truly happy.
He then watched as Ally sat back in her chair just watching him and then she spoke again saying the idea of going back to his place sounded nice. Marcus looked at Ally again and still smiling but with a more serious look on his face he replied saying, “Are ye sure loike? Because I have to admit, I was just thinking before that I think I would loike that better than going to the movies if ye were alroight with that yourself loike.” The soon as Marcus said that the waiter returned to their table with their starters for their meal Marcus nodded his head when the waiter pushed forward the Caesar Salad and the waiter then placed the other dish in front of Ally and left them to it. “Well I don’t about yourself but moine sure looks good.” He waited until Ally was good to start before beginning to eat his own.

Ally listened to Marcus more, as he wondered how far his ability extended. Hearing about being shot made her raise her eyebrows a little, wondering if he wanted to be shot, but then heard him say not that he would want to be, which was like a sigh of relief on her part. Ally watched him shake his head, and she looked at him, “I don’t think being shot is high up on my list of things to do myself.” What else could she say to that? Ally nodded in acknowledgement to what Marcus said about her ability of strength. “I guess you are right. She was going to say something when Marcus continued to talk, and what she heard him say next took her aback a little. Ally’s hands were under the table, and she began to fiddle with her fingers a little. She swallowed a little, then looked up at Marcus, “I, um,” Ally was lost for words, which was very uncommon for her. Normally she had a comeback, but not right now. Marcus had truly left her speechless. She had only known him for one full day, and already he was having this effect on her. In a quiet voice, which didn’t happen a lot either, Ally finally spoke. “Thank you for thinking of me in that way.” As Marcus spoke of why he listened to his during sleeping, she nodded. When he said that he doesn’t hear the whole album, it made her giggle a little. “I know that feeling well. I have to say that there are only a couple of albums that will help me sleep if I am having a restless night.” Thinking about one in particular made her smile a little, as it was one that not a lot of people heard of, and it was kind of nice to know that what she was listening to was helping. Ally hadn’t meant to laugh at what Marcus said, but it was kind of funny. After Marcus apologised for his cheesy line, she had asked him if that line always worked. As Ally watched him shake his head, she couldn’t help but smile a little, wondering what he was going o say. When he finally spoke, Ally listened, and felt her heart flutter a little at what he said. Her smile got bigger, and felt her face flush a little as he winked and smiled more. Ally felt that there were no words to express what she was feeling at that moment, but she knew she could not say anything. “Well then Mr. Woods, I guess I should be privileged.” She grinned back at him, and then slowly shook her head a little. She had then said that going back to his place sounded nice, and she watched a mixed expression on Marcus’ face. Ally wished she had the ability of reading minds now, so that she could hear what was going through his mind. Hearing what he said next made her wonder if he wasn’t sure, but she felt that she was more than sure of her suggestion and thoughts. Ally sat forward, and took his hand in her own, and was going to reply, when the waiter came back, and she sat back a bit to receive her meal. She smiled at the waiter, and then looked down at what she was to eat first. Ally looked at Marcus, when he spoke, nodding. “It does look good.” She then took her fork and began to eat her food. **** 1 hour later **** Ally was truly full from what she had eaten. The food was definitely something she loved, but the company rated higher for her in all honesty. She slowly pushed her plate forward with her hands, and sat back, resting her hands on her stomach. “I am rather full right now, not sure if I will be able to move.” She giggled a little, then reached for her second drink, and drank the rest of what was left. Placing the glass back on the table, Ally looked at Marcus. “So, Mr. Woods, are you ready for that dessert now? Your place I gather.” She gave him a smirk, and then sighed a little, knowing that the night was definitely going to end well.
