14th April 2009 I am truly content for the first time in my life. I don't know how it all came into my lap so quickly, but I love how it did. I have the best girlfriend in the world, my career is going slowly, but great, and I feel that I am finally in control of my life for once. Everything is looking up and up for me right now. Emma Woods.....what can I say about her. Well, I had better start from the beginning. I met her back on the 20th March, by chance. I was meant to check out a hockey game at the local skating rink in Brooklyn, but instead I caught Emma ice skating. She was so graceful on her feet, working her way through a routine. Once she was finished, we struck up a conversation, which led to us going to the local cafe, and have a great chat. This soon led to me kissing her. Thinking it was a stupid thing to do, she soon let me know it wasn't. That most memorable night led to Emma coming back to my place to hear some of my songs. We only got through two songs, as we ended up kissing for about an hour. Soon realising the time, Emma went home. I think it was for the best, as I personally didn't want it to lead into something that we would regret later. For the last 4 weeks, we have spent as much time together as we could. Both of our lives are so busy, but we manage to scrape in time to see each other. I seem to just miss seeing her when we are apart, it sometimes makes me a little down sometimes. I have never felt this way about a girl before, like the way I feel about her right now. We have only been together for four weeks, but I just feel like I have known her for much longer.

19th April. I can't stop smiling right now. I am so in love, and that 4 letter word was actually said last night. But I am also happy that I finally told Emma about my past. That was a rather large relieve that was removed off my shoulders, I am telling you. But the biggest thing that came up was the mention that Emma would love to carry my child. Then she said she didn't want to pressure me into doing anything. I don't either, as she is a lot younger than me. But as I said to her - the age doesn't matter. If anything does happen, in regards to falling pregnant, I hope that it doesn't interfere with her careers. I would really hate myself for that. I know how hard she has worked she where she is today. But I am sure that if we love each other as we do right now, we can break down those walls when we come to them.

18th May 2009 At the moment I am feeling a lot of emotions. I feel so happy for one reason, and one reason only, and it has to do with the girl in my life at the moment. Emma is the most sweetest girl, and I am glad that she is in my life. We have now been going out for two months, and it feels great. I think my life would be nothing with out her right now. But I have to say that I am kind of nervous as well. Not for Emma, well I am actually, but this has nothing to do with what she is doing this afternoon. I am feeling nervous meeting with my ex - Kristy. Contacted me yesterday and now I have agreed to meet her. The location is unknown as yet, but I am sure that the meeting with her will go okay. Though how do I bring it up with my current partner? Do I keep it a secret or just tell her right out? Oh well, time will tell.

18th May 2009 - later in the day I am quickly typing this from my phone as I ride in the back of the ambulance with my Emma. I don't want to say too much right now, as it will just make me get upset again, and I am sure that my face shows that I have been crying on and off. I can give some details as to what happened briefly: We were coming out of the carpark where Emma's skating comp was held, and as were crossing the road, a guy, claiming to be her brother, called out her name. Of cause we stopped, but unfortunately Emma was still on the road, and a car came up behind her and she was hit. I am not aware of the full damage yet to her body, but seeing her all cut, and all those bruises....sorry, can't go on. I will definately post when I know more. A very dark and horrible time to a fantastic day.

18th May 2009 - Night I thought I would update on how Emma is going. She is in intensive care now, where she is attached to so many monitors. I just can't express the words on how it looks to me right now. She had had two operations already. Emma was in for her leg to be pinned together, but during this time the preassure in her head was getting too much, sh they had to operate to relieve the presssure. Then to top it all off, Emma almost died on the table. Lucky for all of us, Emma is a fighter, and pulled through the whole thing. The only thing that she has to do now is wake up. I have been sitting at her bedside with Marcus, her long lost brother, hoping and praying that she comes through it all. The doctor keeps saying that the next 24 hours is going to be critical, but it feels like it is going to drag on forever. At the moment I am just tring to stay positive and focused for her. I can't lose this one person in my life right now. I don't know how I could live if I lost her.

19th May - morning I am typing this before I go in and see Emma for the first time this morning. Very late last night she woke up. It was a miracle of miracles on her part. All that she has been through - it proves to all of us that she is a fighter. We saw her briefly after this time, and let her sleep. I knew that she definately need this to help with her recovery. After this, Marcus and I were allowed to stay in the family lounge, where we talked for a few moments, and then got sleep ourselves. As it was tiring for Emma, who went through the trauma physically and mentally, we went through it emotionally. And I know that I was drained from it all. But I knew that I could sleep easier, knowing that Emma was awake. After some sleep I contacted her parents, who are now Marcus' parents also. I spoke with their dad, and then Marcus and I both met them for the first time. They seem really nice, and were very welcoming, especially to Marcus. The poor guy, he was nervous meeting them, but seems to be doing okay now. I am sure it is a relieve on his part, now knowing who his parents are finally. Marcus and I have just finished our breakfast, and will soon go back and see Emma. I personally can't wait for that moment - I just want to be there now, making sure that she is doing okay.

30th June Well Marcus and I have just finished planning majority of Emma's 21st birthday, which is on the 1st August 2009. We have put her best interests at heart towards it, knowing that she won't be able to climb and stairs and so forth. We are looking at a function suite close to where she lives with her parents. Also we have made notes of things that we think and hope she will like, in regards to the colour scheme, and flowers. Also you can't forget the cake. It will definately have to be chocolate. As we were planning, it got me thinking of my own 21st party. My parents went ahead and planned it all, without taking in any of my own ideas for it. It was the worst day of my life. Well now my first worst day of my life. The other day was when Emma was hit by a car. Nuff said about that. So I will definately put up another journal entry, when I finalise the invitations. Though if they don't work out the way I like them to be, I will hunt down a place who does that sort of thing. So I suppose I should go and start, even though it is still a month away.

2nd August || 3:15am
I just had to get this out before I burst. I know it is so early in the morning, but this is the first chance I have had to get any of this out, due to Emma's 21st that happened last night. So after was all said and done, Emma and I kind of got busy, if you get me.
Anyway the night was a success, despite the obvious problems between Marcus and Jo. But really that is none of my business. My only business last night was Emma, and she definately got the attention she deserved. We all had our little surprises. And it seemed that Emma and I both had two each. I had the song that I wrote, and then my proposal to her. And then Emma had the fact that she was walking a little and that she was pregnant. It was the best night for me in a long time. Just the emotions in it all was just too much for us all. But then Emma's brother, Craig, came home from Australia, which was a massive surprise for her, and her and Marcus got chatting. So a good night was had by all.
