Good morning. Melody Webb here to bring you some breaking news.
A moment ago, a plane, that was taking off from Las Vegas airport, which was heading to New York, began to catch on fire, and headed back down the runway, towards the terminals. Here is the footage that our camerman captured.
{shows a few seconds of the plane inside the terminal and of the chaos surrounding it.}
The injuries that seemed to have sustained most people at the scene are not major, though we are unsure at this time of the people that were inside the plane. Shane Turney: Good morning. We are here to bring you more on the plane crash that happened fifteen minutes ago at the Las Vegas airport. As we have reported, the plane in question was taking off, heading towards New York, when it came back down, catching on fire, and crashed into the terminals. Melody Webb is on the scene right now. What can you tell us Melody?

Hi Shane. Well, as you can see there are reporters everywhere, and there is a lot of debris. I have been told by the emergency services that the people inside seem to be okay, and they will all be checked over by the paramedics on hand. There are apparently more ambulance coming, to deal with the number of passengers, and also people who may have gotten injured with the plane's impact, and fallen debris that resulted from the crash.

I can see one Dominic Salvatore in the crowd, and it seems that he is okay. So it seems Shane that there were cameras here for good reasons, and now filming a devastation only moments later. I will keep you informed on any developements that come to hand. This is Melody Webb for for LV Channel 1.

Shane Turney: Good morning. We are back to give you more details that have come to hand with the plane crash at the Las Vegas airport. Melody Webb is still on the scene. How is is going down there, Melody?

Hi Shane. Well the fire crews have been helping the rescue teams to put out the fires and to remove rubble that was from part of the roof collapsing, and quite a lot of glass, from when the plane crashed through the terminal. I have been told that the people inside have all been cleared, though a couple have been taking to the hospital for observation. I don't know the extent of those, but when we do know anything, we will let you know.
I managed to speak to Mr. Dominic Salvatore, and he agreed to a few moments of my time.
Melody: Well, Dominic, it seems you have had an eventful day?
Dominic: You're not wrong there sugar... not one I would like to live through again any time soon I can tell you that.
Melody: Well I am glad that you are well, and not injured. Has anyone told you what happened?
Dominic: Thank you sugar, I'm glad also as well as a couple of other people close in my life. I don't have clear details no, just rumours about an engine blowing or something.
Melody: {Melody smiles, then nods} I hope that the airlines do find what happened so that they can prevent it from happening again.
Dominic: I hope so too sugar, there were a lot of lives at risk, I should have been on that flight, that's what makes the whole thing so scary.
Melody: Oh, so you were headed to New York to do some publicity work then? I can't imagine what it would have been like to have been on there, fearing the worst.
Dominic: That's right sugar. I was due to do some promotion for my forthcoming album and a fan distracted me, you know I just can't ignore my fans. Then the result was that the flight had been boosted forward by an hour and totally missed the check in.
Melody: {Melody nods} So I guess that fan is going to be remembered by you for a long time yet. The one who saved your life I guess. Are they here now? {Melody looks around.}
Dominic: {Dominic giggles a little nervously} Well you could say that she will be remembered for a long time yet. {Dominic shakes his head} No, they said they had to go home but were grateful that I gave her my time. I think I should be the grateful one though sugar. {Smiles at Melody}
Melody: {Melody smiles} Okay. {Turns to look at the camera} If you are out there watching this, call into the studio, and would love to do an interview with you. {Turns back to Dom} Since you are not going to head into New York any time soon, what are your plans for today then?
Dominic: {Dominic gives a warm smile to Melody} My manager phoned and completely understands the situation sugar, so all I'm going to be doing right now is go home and spend some quality time with my loved ones. I can assure that the fans will be reimbursed for the tickets they bought and complimentary ones will be given for the rescheduled events.
Melody: {Nods} That is great for the fans out there. Also will one of those people be the man that you were photographed with yesterday? {spots the man in the background}
Dominic: {Smiles at Melody} Yes one of the loved ones is indeed the man I was photographed with yesterday but I'm trying my best to keep him out of the limelight sugar.
Melody: {smiles back} I completely understand. Well, I hope that you rest up, as I am sure that your fans want you to be fit and well for when you do your tour for real.
Dominic: {Grins at Melody} Oh I will be doing plenty of resting up sugar, I think some TLC might be in order too. {winks at Melody & glances in Sam's direction then giggles}
Melody: {smiles brightly at Dom} That's great to hear. I will let you go. Thank you for your time.
Dominic: {Smiles brightly back at Melody} You're very welcome sugar, the pleasure was all mine. {holds his hand out for Melody to shake}
Melody: {shakes his hand, then turned back to the camera}
Well, there you have it Shane. All is well with the one and only Dominic Salvatore. So you heard it here first that he will be giving other tickets out to reimburse for the week that he was meant to tour. Also it seems that love is definately in the air. {Melody turns, and sees Dom with the other man, making her smile, turning back to the camera.} Definately love is in the air.
