Sylar had made Mohinder tell everyone at that Heroes school that he would be resigning. It didn't matter. He hated that school with a passion. He wanted to do something else and he was going to do something else. Sylar had made the decission to go and join Pinehearst. Perhaps maybe this would be a good company for him to check out. Of course, his father had stripped him of his powers, but he had got them back. Maybe perhaps he would let me him for him.
He stood in front of the building debating, if he should go into the building or not. He decided maybe it would be a good idea. He had to face people sooner or later. He sighed and entered the building. The front lobby was busy. He glanced around the lobby to see if he could spot anyone familiar and he couldn't find anyone familiar. He went up to the front desk and was instrcuted that they have been waiting for him, for a long time.
He was then escorted to an office, that was empty. Sylar wondered what he had got himself into. He sat down a chair and awaited to see who would come for him. It sounded that this was a bit urgent. He folded his arms over his chest and waited impatiently, for who ever was in interesting in him coming to this company.

Lance had been sitting in his office for sometime now. It was a slow day, with really nothing to do. In fact he had been sitting in his office just reading a few comics. Say what you will, but a guy can enjoy his comics if he wanted to. As he flipped through to the next page, his secretary buzzed him through the intercom.
"Mr. Fox. There is someone in Mr. Petrelli's office I think you should meet." Lance frowned at the girl's screechy voice. He needed to get some less annoying secretaries. Well at least this one didn't barge in all the time. He folding his comic shut and placed it under his armpit.
"Thank you Linda. I'll be sure to check it out." He said as he got up from his seat. Lance walked out of his office and followed the path that lead to Arthur's office. Now, Lance wasn't one to entirely trust madmen, but he respect Arthur. The man knew his stuff.
As Lance walked into Arthur's office, he saw someone sitting in a chair. "Can I help you?" Lance asked the name. He got a good look at the man and tilted his head. "Aren't you a teacher at that school Primatech started?" he asked. He swore he say the man somewhere, like at a staff meeting or at lunch.

Sylar was waiting around in the office. He had no clue why he would be directed to a office. Of course, he didn't know his father and maybe this was something that he wanted it to happened. He sighed as he gazed around the office. The office was clean, unlike the offices that he was usually saw before. His mother's office wasn't a clean as this office.
So perhaps his father was the neat freak of the family. Sometimes, he wished that he knew about his family. Like living with them during his childhood. Maybe if they didn't adopted him off to that dreaded family, he would't have turned out this way. Of course, maybe his family wanted him to turn evil. He had no clue. His destiny was telling him to become a villain.
Perhaps he wasn't ment to be a hero. He bit down his lower lip as he watched the door open. He had no idea who the person that walked into the office was. So he would figure it out soon, he guessed.
"Well, I was told to met my father here, but I guess he sent you?" He said sighing "I'm Gabriel Petrelli, but I'm better known as Sylar" He said with a slight pause "I used to be a teacher at that school, I resigned from the school" He said as he glanced around the office. So this was his father's office.

Lance stared at the man in the office. Now he knew who he was. He knew Arthur had kids, he just didn't know who they were. Well, besides Nathan Petrelli, but everyone knew about the new president. At the name Sylar, Lance gave a thoughtful look. That name sounded so familiar. Then it clicked.
"You're the guy that's been rumored to be killing everyone with powers aren't you." Lance said. He had heard of the Sylar rumors. Hell, everyone had. It was a common thing here at Pinehearst. Heck, half the people here worshiped him for helping them break out of level 5, accident or not. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm Lance Fox."
Lance wasn't exactly sure if Arthur had told his secretary to send him here or if the girl had just heard about it. Either way Lance didn't have an answer and he hated not having an answer. "Well, I'm not sure if Arthur sent me or not. Knowing him he could've. Well, is there anything you'd like to tell me. Like why you're here." Lance said.

Sylar introduced himself as Gabriel Petrelli and not Gabriel Gray. He figured that he could introduce himself as his birth name. He didn’t need to be a Gray anymore. He was a Petrelli and he was going to show his name proudly.
“Yes that is me, the serial killer” He said with a slight smirk. He hated that people knew about him, but it seemed that everyone knew about him. It was just a part of life or something. He supposed. “Pleasure to meet you also, Lance” Sylar said as he got up from the chair.
He paced around the office as Lance spoke to him again, “Well, I’m here because I heard there was some job openings, and I’m sick of Primatech, they did something to me, they tried to control a side effect of my ability, use me like a science experiment and I don’t like that…I might be able to bring over that scientist…he makes a good double agent” Not quite sure if he was making sense.

Lance smiled. IT was always good to get new people in Pinehearst. Especially those that could actually do something. Sure, being a psychiatrist wasn't that much fun, but at least he got his fun when it came to missions and getting information from people. It was always a blast.
Lance chuckled at his own joke. "Well Gabriel, or can I call Sylar, it'll be good working with you. I'm sure your father would love to have you here." Lance said. At the mention of the double agent, Lance smirked. "Well we could always use more spies. I for one am working at Primatech's school. Like they say, kids are the future."

"You may call me Sylar, I'm not going by Gabriel anymore..." He said shaking his head. His niece had made him not want to be called Gabriel. He figured that he would be a safe bet to not want to go by his birth name. He liked his birth name, but he figured that being Sylar would be a hell of lot better then just plain old Gabriel.
"Interesting, perhaps I shouldn't have given up my post" He said with a serious tone as he shook his head. It was bad enough that he had given up his post. He liked his post, but he figured that it would be alright for him not to be able to be a part of that dreaded school. He didn't need to be involved with it and that was fine with him.

Lance snorted. "Maybe you're the lucky one. Kids are nothing but a pain in the ass. I'm only doing it because it's my job." Lance said. If he hadn't been...persuaded to take part in that school, Lance would've avoided it as much as he could. But a school full of super powered teenagers? What evil master mind wouldn't send an agent to show those kids the "correct" way of heading.
Lance looked around. It had been quiet just the two of them and Lance was getting edgy. He had heard many things about Sylar and he for one would rather keep his brain. He was unconsciously clenching and unclenching his fist, letting out small, tiny bursts of light. Was he the only supposed to be here? "Wonder if anyone else is coming."

“You’re right they are nothing but a pain in the ass” He said agreeing with Lance. Perhaps he was lucky. “I only did it because my mother wanted me too” He said shaking his head. He was starting to know why everyone hated his mother, she was a bitch. She always kept secrets. He hated secrets.
“I have no clue, perhaps it is just us” He said looking around the room. “So what kind of power do you have?” asked Sylar out of curiosity. He was curious to know what kind of powers these people had. He wasn’t going to take any powers. He wasn’t in the mood for that. He had plenty at the moment.

Lance returned his gaze back at Sylar. From the tone and way Sylar was postured, he could tell there was something about that statement about his mom. Lance cocked his head. "Relationship with your mother not going well? Can't blame you. Parents think they know best, but they don't. I eventually ended blowing up my dad. Bastard deserved it too."
Lance smiled at the curiosity coming from the other man. He held up his closed fist. Light was starting to emit from the open spaces. "You can say I'm hot as the sun." Lance said, ignoring the bad joke. He quickly moved his hand over to the window and unclenched his hand, palm facing towards the window. In an instant, a burst of white hot energy was released from his hand. The heat emanating from his palm could be held through out the entire building, but it didn't seem to bother him. The blast itself caused the furniture in its path to heat up. As for the windows. Well, they simply few out of there frames.
"The longer I have my hand closed, the greater the energy builds up. Think of it as a soda bottle. THe more you shake it, the more pressure you add until finally...Boom." Lance explained. He turned to the scourged furniture. "Hope Arthur doesn't mind the new decor."

“Well, I just meet my biological mother, Angela, she almost drowned me according to my father and she admitted it on Thanksgiving, what a lovely experience” He said in a sarcastic voice. The Thanksgiving was a disaster. Well, he was acting stubborn the entire evening.
Sylar watched the man show off his ability. He was quiet an interesting ability. Sylar was clearly expressed by the ability. However, he was amazed at himself that he didn’t want the power. That was first. He had to admit to himself.
“Well, your ability is clever better then my ability, I know how to fix things with mine, nothing exciting” He said shaking his head. “However, the other abilities I stole, they are amazing, the only ability I have trouble with of mine is some induced radiation. I can blow entire cities up” He said a bit sarcastically “And I don’t think Arthur would mind”

Lance gave Sylar an awkward look whne he said his mother tried to drown him. "No offence, but I can possibly see why you became a serial killer. A parent's actions can have a long lasting effect on a child, no matter how long ago or irreverent it might see to us. Your mother drowning you must have had some psychological trauma on you. Then again I wouldn't put it past Angela."
"Your parents tend to do whatever they want just do get what they want." Lance added. He continued to play with his powers, letting out tiny bursts of light with his hands. He was really bored. From the expression on his face it was clearly stated that he'd rather be doing something more adventurous. Despite the profession he chose, Lance had always preferred more active duties.

Sylar rolled his eyes, “Thank you, my therapist said the same thing” He said sighing. It was true. He was seeing a therapist. It was Mohinder and Peter’s suggestion and he thought the therapist would be a load of crap, but he was an awfully good therapist.
“Yeah” He said sighing again. He watched as Lance started to play with his powers. He opened the palm of his hand and started to fiddle with his lightning ability. He liked to hear the electricity in the palm of his hand. It always made him feel like an important person. “Looks like no one else is gonna show”

Lance stopped playing with his power and cocked his head at Sylar. So the man was seeing a therapist, oh the irony behind the situation. It was almost like giving the man a free session. If only he knew what Lance's profession was. He didn't know if you would laugh or glare at the situation.
He watched as Sylar played with his own power. "Who's you get that from? Elle Bishop?" Lance only knew of one person with electrical manipulation, and that was only because he read up on Primatech files. It always did pay to study one's enemies. "Well, since no one else is showing, why don't I give you a tour. THat is of course if you don't know the place already."

Sylar gave a smirk. "Yes, that is Elle's powers, I absorbed it from her, instead of killing her" He said sighing. He wanted to kill her so badly, but he ended up with some of her power and he couldn't master it. It was making him angry.
He stopped playing with the electrokinesis and nodded at Lance, "Why don't you give me the tour, I only know of the labs" He said a bit sarcastic.
