Nov 4th
Henry was enjoying his time alone. He had finally convinced James to let him stay at New York while he went out on another field report. Sure he enjoyed going with his brother to where ever his job took him, but he enjoyed staying home more. Moving around sucked you know. Well, now that James had finally let go of those silly protective feelings, Henry can finally get to be himself.
Walking into the living room, wearing nothing but boxers and an orange t-shirt, Henry plopped onto the recliner. He remembered the day they bought this thing. Ever since, Henry had claimed it as his own, not letting anyone but himself sit on it. Not ever James got that privileged. Anyways, Henry just got ordering a pizza and all he had left to do was sit back, watch a movie, and wait for the pie.
The doorbell rang and the boy looked up. "That was fast." he said, getting up and going to open the door.

Amanda couldn't wait to see the look on her cousins' faces. It had been a while since she last saw them. Her parents had helped them settle into their New York apartment and she just couldn't believe they didn't tell her when the move was. Then against she could understand. Ronald Ward did kill his wife and daughter and was still out on the loose. They wanted to be as far away from him as possible. Who knew, maybe the man was still after them or was running from the police.
Standing in front of the door to James and Henry's apartment, Amanda straightened herself. She wore a black tube top and tight blue jeans. Knowing the two flirts, they stare at her for sometime before remembering they were related. She rang the bell and waited. When it opened, she smiled.
"Henry! It's so good to see you!" she said, giving him a quick hug.

Henry was shocked to see Amanda there at the threshold of the apartment. He hadn't seen her in a long time. He had at first believed that she was taking classes at Nevada State. Therefore, at the sight of seeing her here, in New York, was shocking to him. What made it worse was she was hugging him while he was in his boxers. Using his orange t-shirt, the teen tried to cover himself.
"Amanda, what're you doing here? I thought you were at school." he questioned. He felt embarrassed to be seen in his boxer shorts. It wasn't everyday a girl caught him in a situation like this. Not to mention Amanda loved gossip and if she met anyone of Henry's friends, she'd sure to use this little tidbit against him with her other arsenal of embarrassing stories.

Amanda tried to not laugh at the sight of the boy trying to cover himself with his shirt. He looked so cute that she just had to reach over and pinch his cheek. "You are just so adorable." she squealed. Stepping into the room, Amanda examined the place. It was kinda dingy, and smelled, but she couldn't really expect much from two boys. "Well this place is...nice."
Turning around swiftly, she smiled her younger cousin. "So what have you been doing here?" she asked before sitting in a recliner that saw parked in front of the TV. "Ooh, nice chair."

Henry didn't know whether to be shocked to see his cousin barge into the apartment or the fact that she was sitting on his recliner. The girl had spunk he'd give her that. In fact, Henry might have gotten his own spunk from Amanda. It would explain why the two of them had that same air of authority that drew people's attention to them.
But we digress, Henry wanted to know why she was here when he was supposed to be alone for the week. "Amanda, seriously. What are you doing here? And that's my recliner so shoo." he said shooing her with his hands. "Did James send you?" he asked. Typical. James always had to find a loophole in everything.
