Sometime in the future
Peter Petrelli had a lunch date with his niece and best friend Claire Rosen. Every Friday they had this lunch date thing at her townhouse in New York. Peter decided to walk for once and not teleport to Claire’s house. He decided that walking would be best for once in his lifetime. Of course, he didn’t live that far from Claire.
As he was on his way to Claire’s he saw a familiar face. It was Mohinder Suresh. He wondered what he was doing in New York. Mohinder should have been in Washington. However, as he approached him he read the mind and noticed that it wasn’t the Mohinder of the future.
He grabbed the Mohinder of the past and teleported off to Claire’s house and knocked on the door as he glared at Mohinder. This Mohinder wasn’t talking which was kind of odd. Usually you couldn’t get Mohinder to shut up. He just sighed and waited for the door to open.
However, Peter was quiet impatient and took out a key opening the door and walking into the house. “Claire, it’s me” He said hoping not to alarm her as he used a puppet ability to drag Mohinder into the house and he used his telekinesis to shut the door.

Mohinder Suresh was minding his own business trying to figure out why his future self would send him to the future. It didn’t make any sense. He didn’t even know how the hell his future self could have Space-Time Manipulation. It just didn’t make any sense. He hoped that he wouldn’t have to have the source of this.
He was walking through New York when Peter Petrelli came up to him with a scar and didn’t say anything all he did was teleport the two of them to this house. He gave Peter an odd look expecting him to speak to him, but obviously he didn’t.
Mohinder was about to speak when Peter started to get a bit impatient and grabbed a key out of his pocket and opened the door. He watched Peter enter the house and the next thing he knew he was being dragged by either telekinesis or some puppet ability. He just looked at Peter as he heard him call out to someone.
“Don’t kill me!” Mohinder pleaded “I didn’t mean to come to this place….” He said trailing off.

Claire was in the house of her and West, they had now been together for quite a few years, happy as husband and wife. Claire was happy, she was very happy, in fact she didn't think she'd be much happier. She and West's little girl was in her bed asleep. She couldn't believe that she was almost three years old now.
With West off somewhere, Claire was just sitting in the living room reading her book waiting on Peter arriving for their usual weekly lunch together. She loved Peter unconditionally, even when he'd lost his way for a while, she'd never given up hope on him, and she was so happy when he came back to the light side again.
Just as she began to start a new chapter of her book, she heard a key in the door, it would be Peter, he had a set of keys, Claire had given him a set a while ago, so he didn't have to keep tele-porting into her house and scaring the hell out of her. When she heard Peter shout, she put her book down and went to where he was.
"Hey, quiet, Erin's asleep" she said, as she then looked to see that he wasn't alone, she raised an eyebrow, Mohinder shouldn't have been in New York from what she knew.
"Mohinder? What you doing here, oh you just want to get in on Peter and I's weekly lunch date, don't you?" Claire asked teasing him slightly, "And don't be ridiculous of course Peter isn't going to kill you and please, keep it quiet" Claire said again softly, as she made he way into Erin's bedroom and made sure she was still asleep.
She bent down and kissed her daughter softly on the forehead, before closing the door quietly.

Peter wasn’t going to kill anyone. He just looked at Mohinder with an odd look. He wondered what he meant by that he didn’t mean to come. Mohinder was supposed to be in Washington today. He remembered. He had spoken with him yesterday. However, as he looked at this Mohinder it would seem that this Mohinder was different with hair style.
He then removed his hands from using him as a puppet as he tilted his head and read Mohinder’s mind. He raised an eyebrow. “Damnt!” He said in a whisper. It would seem that this Mohinder had no memory of some things.
Peter then started to circle around Mohinder as Claire went to check on Erin. He usually apologized for yelling, but this time. He didn’t feel like it. He just hoped Claire wouldn’t mind. He was focused on this Mohinder.
“I don’t get it, your suppose to be an intelligent man, Mohinder and yet you don’t even know that you are suppose to be in Washington” He narrowed his eyes as he stopped in front of him. “Your from the past aren’t you, you know that Sylar and I are twins…so you are from four years into the past”

Mohinder was seriously scared out of his mind. He didn’t know why, but he just felt uncomfortable with Peter. This Peter was different from the one that he knew in his time. It would seem. He knew that the Peter that he knew didn’t have a scar.
He also didn’t know that Claire had a child. He just couldn’t believe any of this that he was hearing. “So Sam and you must be happy” He said not really knowing that Sam and Claire were no longer together. You see he was the past.
He then didn’t pay any attention to Claire as she went somewhere. He just noticed that Peter was walking around him. He knew that the man was reading his mind. He wondered what Peter had found. Because it would seem on his facial expression that something was terribly wrong.
He raised an eyebrow as Peter spoke to him, “I’m supposed in Washington doing what!?” Mohinder asked in a curious tone. He then looked down at the floor. “Yeah, I’m from the past…my future self said he needed to take care of something and sent me here”

Claire couldn't do much for watching the scene unfold between Peter and Mohinder. She just hoped it wouldn't get out of hand, like when Gabriel blew up Costa Verde. Peter didn't apologise for shouting, but Claire decided to let it pass, she couldn't be bothered to cause any trouble between them right now.
Listening to the conversation with Peter and Mohinder, Claire managed to work out something. "So, you're not our Mohinder, you're the Mohinder from four years ago?" she asked, knowing full well what the answer was going to be.
Of course Mohinder only confirmed it when he said she and Sam must be happy. "I'm not with Sam anymore, we got divorced only a couple of weeks after we got married, I'm with West now, he's the man I'm married to" Claire said trying to explain she was no longer with Sam. "Erin is West's child, not Sam's" she added, as she looked at both Mohinder and Peter with pleading eyes so they wouldn't start yelling again.

Peter listened to the Mohinder of the past and just couldn’t believe what he was hearing. The man that he thought was supposed to be in Washington was here. Peter had to make sure that Mohinder didn’t get into trouble. He decided that perhaps he should take Mohinder to the Hill. However, he looked at the time on his cell phone and sighed in relief.
“We have time for lunch and then I’ll take you to Congress we will discuss what you have to say in front of them” Peter said with a slight smile as he glanced at Claire as Claire explained that Sam and her were no more. He was glad that Claire was in love with West and not Sam. In Peter’s eyes, Sam was just an idiot.
Peter placed his hands into his pocket and sighed, “So you are from past” He said with a slight chuckle. “Well, after you do your congress thing, we will send you back to your time unless our Mohinder is suppose to be doing something that he clearly doesn’t trust you with then you have to stay here”

Mohinder nodded as he listened to Claire. “I’m sorry!” He said as he quickly apologized. He should have never brought it up. He felt like an idiot around these people. Of course, he had an excuse. His excuse was that he wasn’t from this time and had the right to be stupid it would seem in his own opinion.
The Indian glanced over as Peter began to talk to him. It would seem to him that Peter was going to help him. This was good or so he thought. He trusted Peter and just hoped Peter was still the same as he knew him in the past. He knew Peter of the past was now on the good side and he just hoped that Peter of the future was on the good side.
“That is if, Claire would let me stay” He said as he gave a weak smile as he looked at her and placed his hands in his pocket. “Just a question: Since my future self is in my time, where does he live and what does he do?” Sure it was a stupid question, but Mohinder wanted to know.

"We still have time for lunch then?" Claire asked Peter, not sure that Mohinder of the past turning up hadn't thrown a spanner in the works for their lunch date. "You know how I love our time together" Claire added with a warm smile. She was very close to Peter, she always had been, which was one reason why she was so annoyed with him when he'd gone all evil, but she'd forgiven him for that and put it down to lack of judgement.
Claire then looked at Mohinder as he apologised, she smiled, waving her hand slightly, "It's alright, you obviously weren't to know, I'm happy with West" she replied, she said this, because she wanted to know that talking about Sam in the past didn't upset her or hurt her in anyway at all.
When Mohinder said something about whether Claire would allow him to stay, she shrugged slightly and smiled, "Not up to me to say whether you can stay or not Mohinder of the past, but if you're referring to staying with West and I, then we have a couple of spare rooms, so it wouldn't be a problem, so long as you don't mind a young child" Claire explained with a grin. Claire really wouldn't mind, and she didn't think West would mind either.

“Of course we still have time for lunch I’ll just teleport Suresh to Congress” Peter replied with a smile. “I know you love our lunch dates, Claire” He said shaking his head. He enjoyed their lunch dates and it really matter if Mohinder of the past showed up randomly. The three of them could spend time together.
Peter nodded as Claire spoke about West and Sam. It was a difficult story to tell, but he was glad that Claire didn’t go into the details. He was glad for that. He knew sometimes that Claire couldn’t shut-up, but he knew it was sometimes a touchy subject.
“I think you misunderstood him, Claire” Peter corrected “He is obviously asking if he could stay and enjoy lunch with us, I don’t mind, but it is clearly up to you Claire” He said with a smile. He then decided to answer Mohinder’s question. “Well, you’re the Secretary of Health and Human affairs and advisor to Nathan on Science and Technology” He said wondering if that is what Mohinder meant.
“And as for where you live, you live in New York with Sylar, but you two had some kind of fight and aren’t talking with one another, so you’re residing in your old lab”

Mohinder didn’t say a word as he listened to Peter and Claire spoke about whatever was going on. He was lacking a bunch of attention mainly because he was trying to collect his thoughts. He really still couldn’t believe that he was in the future. Perhaps he was dreaming. He started to pinch himself randomly, hoping not to cause any attention from the two.
Apparently, this wasn’t a dream it was reality. He just placed his hands in his pocket and smiled at Claire as she tried answering his question. However, it would seem that she was very confused. He just laughed. It was very typical Claire. He just shook his head. “That wasn’t what I was asking” He said as he raised an eyebrow at Peter.
“So I was living with Sylar and we had a big fight” He just shook his head. “So that hasn’t change” He said sighing. “I’m leaving in my old lab and yet I’m a cabinet member for President Petrelli” He said a bit shocked. He was shocked because he never would have thought Nathan to give him a cabinet spot.

Claire was pleased when Peter agreed with a smile that they would still have time for lunch. She smiled when he said he knew she loved their lunch dates. She knew she really didn't have to tell Peter that, but Claire repeated herself quite often, she couldn't help it. Claire was just very close to Peter, and she figured she always would be.
Claire felt so stupid when Peter said Mohinder was referring to having lunch with her and Peter, not staying at her house. She put her hand up to her forehead and slapped it, "Jeez, sorry Mohinder, I really thought you were meaning somewhere to stay" she said, as she looked at him apologetically and then turned to Peter, "I'm a right clown at time huh?" she asked him grinning.
Turning back to Mohinder with a smile, "Of course I don't mind you joining us for lunch, why would I?" she said with a warm smile, "So, are we going then?" she asked, as she listened to Peter tell Mohinder about where he lives and what he does in this time.

Peter folded his arms as he gave a slight nod and smile at Claire. He wondered what they were going to have for lunch. His stomach growled. He gave an embarrassed look as he gazed around the home with his eyes acting all innocent. He knew that Claire would say something. It was just a part of her nature.
He listened to Mohinder. “Yeah, I know it’s kind of crazy” He said when he referred to him living with Sylar and having arguments. “Perhaps you two can make up” He suggested, hoping this didn’t offend Mohinder. He figured it would probably make Sylar happy. He feels that Sylar was angered and wanted Mohinder back.
“And of course, you’re a clown” He said with a smirk as he unfolded his arms and placed them in his jacket pocket. “So what illusion do you want this time!?” asked Peter referring to their lunch spot. Peter liked to make illusions of spots in the world for the lunch.

Mohinder just gave a weak smile at Claire as she apologized. “It is alright, sometimes I just need to pick my words more carefully” He said with a smile. It was true. He was a foreigner and when he got to America could barely speak English without looking like an idiot. Yet, after those many years of being in the states, it would seem that his English was very good.
He turned to Peter. “Perhaps” He said in response to Peter’s suggestion about Mohinder making up to Sylar. “I would do that, but I don’t know what my future self and he fought about” He admitted. He didn’t want to know. Perhaps it would be best if Sylar and he stayed away from one another while he was here.
Mohinder laughed as Peter said about what city in the world Claire wanted. He then looked at the floor. Gabe and I do that also expect we pick the most stupidest places in the world He thought to himself as he became lost in his thoughts.

Claire tried to hold back a laugh as she heard Peter's stomach growl and then he looked around all innocent.
"Guess you're hungry, we should really get going" Claire said as she raised her eyebrow, as she did so her own stomach growled too, which just made her laugh all the more. "And mine is saying we should get going too" she added.
Claire thought it might be nice for Gabriel and Mohinder to make up, but it would probably seem funny to Mohinder to make up with Gabriel when he was from the past and didn't know what Gabriel and his future self fought about.
"It would be nice if they made up, but it might be a bit strange when Mohinder doesn't know why they fought in the first place, don't you think?" Claire asked, looking from Peter to Mohinder with a confused smile on her face.
"Thanks Peter, can always count on you for support" Claire said with a laugh, when he agreed that she was a clown, "But hey, it's a good thing to be, make people laugh" she added with a grin. Then he asked what illusion she wanted for lunch. Where should she ask for their lunch to be this time. She tried to think of places she hadn't been yet, and was stumped, because they had pretty much had an illusion everywhere so far.
"I know we've probably done it before, but how about a beach in Australia somewhere, that be nice, plenty of sun" Claire finally settled on with a wink.
