[OOC: There is no posting order for this, so anyone can be post. This is just going to be a short thread. And the following are the only ones allowed: Sylar, Mohinder, Henry, and Riley]
December 31, 2008
Sylar was heading to see Mohinder Suresh at Mohinder’s laboratory. They were going to go on a journey together to find one of the scrolls. Sure the two weren’t in the same division, but Sylar thought that he could use the scientist’s knowledge of some things. It would seem to Sylar to Mohinder was kind of interesting in things that poised a mystery to the nature of man.
On many days, Sylar could have just teleported to the lab, but on this particular day he had just decided that walking wouldn’t kill him. Sylar sighed as he walked down the crowded streets of New York, bumping into random people and just walking as if he was pushed into them.
He decided that today he wouldn’t have Riley get him his coffee. He was capable of doing it himself. He found a random Starbucks and decided to order something totally different. Today he decided to order a Tazo Chai Tea Latte. It was a good drink to have when it was cold and today it was a cool three degrees outside.
As he order his coffee he text Riley and informed to not bring him coffee that he got himself a cup of coffee from Starbucks. He hoped that she wouldn’t get mad at him for getting his own drink for once. Riley was a good kid, but sometimes he wasn’t sure if he should have exposed her to being his coffee-girl. Then again he really didn’t care.
He got his coffee and proceeded towards Mohinder’s lab. He was only a block away from Mohinder’s lab and was freezing his ass off. He hated one digit temperatures. They just didn’t seem humane to him. Of course, he could keep himself warm with the Pyrokinesis and Induced Radiation. However, he thought that it would best just to be a normal person.
It was difficult to be a normal person, but Sylar really didn’t care. He was just trying to be normal as possible, but the truth was that he wasn’t a normal. He was an evolved species and didn’t care what people thought of him. He was a monster and no one could take him being that monster or that was he was led to believe.
He sighed as he finally approached the building that Mohinder’s lab was located at. He walked up the stairs to the top floor and opened the door, entering the laboratory. He placed his drink on a table and glanced around the place. Mohinder wasn’t in the place and he picked up a folder. He randomly flipped through it and just shook his head.
The folder that he was reading had something to do the formula that Sylar’s father instructed Mohinder to do. However, it would seem the person that they were after wasn’t the catalyst anymore. It would seem to him that his own twin brother was the catalyst. He looked up as he heard someone enter. He just placed the folder down as Mohinder stood near him.
“You lied! Claire isn’t the catalyst, Peter is the catalyst” He snapped as he became enraged. He conjured a ball of ice and flicked it at Mohinder. “I thought we got over our trust issues, doctor!” growled Sylar as used his telekinesis to pin Mohinder a wall.
He gave a smirk and started to cut into Mohinder’s head. He was just messing with Mohinder; however it seemed to get out of hand. He dropped Mohinder and his coffee to the ground when he realized it got a bit too far.
“No..no!” Sylar said in a slight panic as he rushed over to Mohinder. He didn’t feel like doing CPR. He grabbed a needle and injected himself taking out his own blood and grabbed another needle placing his blood in the new needle as he touched Mohinder on the arm injecting Mohinder with his blood. He sighed as he started to feel a bit weird. He started to get an enormous headache as he heard the door open.
