Leona's ability was getting stronger and stronger and as she had been making her way to school one day she'd overheard one of the teacher's thoughts. One of the ones she had been a little afraid of all along. It was something to do with Pinehearst and it turned out he was an enemy like she'd always thought he was.
She didn't really know what to do, or if she should do anything about it at all. Even if she was going to do something about it, who was there really to turn to? She'd burned her bridges with Henry, Leon had disappeared and never came back to her and Elli was trying to get to grips with his own power, there really wasn't anybody she could tell.
However, she did think there was one place who should what she'd learned and that was Primatech. She knew their number from being at the school since it funded it, and she took out the card with Angela Petrelli's number on it, and began to dial. She'd tell her what she knew. She'd tell her everything she'd heard.
[ooc: perfect opening - just don't ask me what it is she knows, cuz I don't know what to put LOL]

Lance was in trouble. Big trouble. Somehow Pinehearst's plans had been discovered. The only reason they knew about was because Arthur had drawn a picture of their plans failing. The only way this could have happened is if someone had discovered it. They only way someone could have figured it all out is if someone had been reading their thoughts. And because Lance had been at the school when he was told the plan, there was only one explanation. A student and found out and told Angela.
Now his hide was on the line. If he didn't stop whomever had figured ti out, Arthur was going to kill him. Liking his life, Lance quickly did research on who might have discovered it. Fortunately he found out there was only one telepath currently at the school. Leona Stevens.
It wasn't that hard to find here. She was still out in the parking lot. It was afterschool and most of the faculty and students were gone by now. He noticed her taking out her phone and with quick reflects, sent out a highly charged ball of solar energy to knock it out of her grasp, charring her skin as well. "I wouldn't do that if I were you Ms. Stevens." he warned her. His eyes were wild.

Leona hadn't even got through to Angela when she heard a voice behind her telling her she shouldn't make the phone call and then the phone was blasted out of her hand leaving her skin charred in the process. She looked up and was immediately worried because it had been the very guy she'd got the information from in the first place.
Suddenly she realised she should have made the phone call a lot further away from the school. However Leona was going to try and keep her cool, and face up to him as much as she could.
"Why shouldn't I make the call? It's people like you who cause all the trouble you know" she shouted, still upset and shaking because she really didn't have that good an ability which could protect her. He'd already hurt her hand, which she was holding in her other one. With a bit of luck someone might come along and help save her soon.
Good one Leona, you sure know how to get yourself into a situation.

True, it is people like me that cause all the problems in the world, but that's what villains do Miss Stevens." Lance tried to reason. Although, it really wasn't reasoning. It was just to distract her from the inevitable. Behind his back, his fist was going wild with light. If any one were to have walked up behind him, they would have been blind by the light.
"I'll let you know Miss Stevens that I can't just let you go and telling Angela about any of this." he said as he held up his glowing fist. He held up the open palm and let the solar flare explode from his palm, scrotching and burning everything in its path. The blast was strong and wide. There was no way of avoiding it and all that would be left of Leona would be a burned, toasty body.
