(OOC: so let me know if u want to change anything on how the met. I just thought since Daph probably didnt understand her disease she would have talked to Becca's dad James who is a shrink. Also didnt really want to set it up where Becca knocks on the door. Thoese are so borning sometimes.) Jan 18 Becca Walker sat at the kitchen table in the new home Matt and Daphne had bought. To some extent she was pissed at Matt and Daphne for moving her sister so far away from New York. She sipped her coffee as she looked around the kitchen which had a million different themes going on with it. Very Daphne. She then looked to Daphne. This was the first time she had seen the women since she got her powers. She knew her years ago but this time was different she could walk. “It’s been awhile hasn’t it? I mean when I heard Matt was dating someone I never thought it would be you of all people.” Becca first met Daphne when her father started to treat her since she found out she had cerebral palsy as a child. Becca like any child didn’t quite understand but she welcomed the girl whenever she came into her home. She took a liking to her and became her friend. Some might say it was tough to have a friend with a disability but Becca didn’t think so. She had often came to Daphne for advise since her friend was four years older she had a clue on life that Becca didn’t. When her parents divorced when she was eleven she told Daphne she would keep in touch. She visited her father and Daphne a couple times till her father remarried and moved with his new wife to California to be close to her grandmother. Becca was moved around to different places till she landed in Settle, Washington where her mother took a permanent job. She heard the news of Daphne’s mom passing away but she couldn’t attend the funeral so she sent flowers. That had to be the last time she heard anything about Daphne till Molly mentioned that Matt was dating a girl. Before Becca could find out about this women her sister was sent off to live with them.

Daphne sat beside Becca with a coffee and sipping on it as she listened to Becca speak. It was good to catch up again after so long, and it was weird in a way that it was Becca's younger sister that she and Matt were now looking after. In a way Daphne felt like she had taken something away from Becca and she didn't like the feeling very much at all.
Becca broke the silence of her thoughts when she spoke. "Yes, it has been a while" Daphne replied, giving Becca a smile. Daphne was just as surprised to find out that the young girl Matt was wanting the two of them to look after was Becca's kid sister Molly. She certainly hadn't expected for them to both move away from New York to Nevada either, but it was what Matt wanted. Something to do with Molly being nearer Micah as far as she was aware.
"I know, just like when I found out that the girl Matt wanted me to help look after was your kid sister" Daphne said giving her a weak smile. She did feel terrible that they dragged her all the way from New York to Nevada it meant that anytime Becca wanted to see her sister she had a long journey ahead of her.
She and became friends with Becca when she as just a child and suffering from Cerebral Palsy and had her legs in the braces. Becca never judged her, and treated her like a normal human being, Daphne was grateful for that.

Becca could feel the awkwardness between the two so she thought she should state how she felt about the situation. “You know I was pissed and kind of still am that you guys moved here of all places.” She was referring to her sister’s boyfriend living just down the street. “But…” She placed her hand on Daphne’s. “I’m glad you are looking after her.”
Letting go of Daphne’s hand she looked around not wanting to deal with anything emotional. “You’re the one person I truly trust Molly with. Its been years since we saw each other I get that. I don’t know what you have been up to and that does the same for you about me but friendships don’t fade just because of differences.”
Becca had no idea what she was trying to say till the words just came out. “I’m in over my head yet again. I’m taking on some bad people and I’m not sure how long or when they will be stopped.” She looked into her friend’s eyes. “Promise me if I don’t make it that you and Matt wont abandon Molly.”
All she had ever wanted was her sister to have a normal life with the memories of her family. She wasn’t sure if she could get out of the 9’s hold or even if she wanted to. The zodiacs were coming plus probably another new evil she would have to face.

Daphne listened carefully as she spoke about being annoyed over bringing Molly to Nevada. She actually could understand why, Daphne had wanted to vote against the idea, but Matt had his heart set on coming to a place where Molly could be closer to her friend Micah. "I'm sorry about that, I did try to persuade him otherwise" Daphne began in her own defense.
However Becca then placed her hand onto Daphne's and spoke about how she was glad that she was looking after Molly. "Well she's a sweet girl, so it's really not a problem, even if I didn't know right away she was your sister" Daphne said, looking down at Becca's hand in her own and taking her other hand she patted Becca's, "I'm glad you feel that way though" Daphne continued and giving Becca a smile.
Daphne's heart lurched slightly when Becca spoke of being the only person she trusted with Molly. "That's really good of you to say so, Matt's really good with her though" Daphne said sticking up for Matt. She was right when she'd known there was something special about him the day she met him and she was right.
"A lot has happened to me in the time we've not been around each other Becca" Daphne said, hanging her head slightly and biting her bottom lip. After all she had been on the road to a dangerous path and then realised just in time what she was doing and joined the right path.
When Becca explained about taking on bad people, and getting in over her head, and asking for her and Matt not to abandon Molly if anything ever happened to herself Daphne felt very sad. "Oh, don't talk like that please" Daphne found herself saying. "I couldn't lose you, not after all this time" she continued with a smile. It would just be terrible if anything happened to Becca, Daphne would be just as upset as Molly would be. "But I'd never abandon Molly, you have my word on that" Daphne added, patting Becca's arm with her hand.

Becca felt better when Daphne said she tried to persuade Matt about not moving. When her friend patted her hand she felt the reassurance she needed as if she was saying she had done the right thing. Now shaking her head when the topic of Matt came up. “I didn’t mean I didn’t trust Matt with Molly. He saved my sister from Sylar. I know he would protect her with his life. Molly trusts him and so do I.” She looked to her hands hoping she didn’t sound too fake when peaking about matt. Truth was she didn’t know him well as Molly did so she had to trust her sister’s instinct. “I just feel better that you’re here too.”
“Thank you that means a lot Daph.” She smiled as she touched Daphne’s hand as she patted her arm. Now taking another sip of her coffee she looked around the room once again. “I like the look.” She figured both of them didn’t need to reflect on everything in their past anymore then they had. “So you and Matt…”

"I know you didn't mean that" Daphne said smiling at Becca, however when it came to Matt, Daphne felt she always defended him even if it wasn't necessary. "I know he did, and I'm so glad he did, she's a wonderful young girl Becca" Daphne said with a warm smile. "Well it's nice of you to say that you're glad I'm here too, I don't think I would have it any other way now"
"You're welcome, but really it wont have to come to that" Daphne said, she'd take anybody down who tried to hurt her friend Becca she swore to herself on it, just like nobody would ever hurt Molly again, not if she and Matt had anything to say about it.
"Thank you" Daphne responded when Becca mentioned about the look, Daphne liked it too. Then she asked about her and Matt and of course Daphne actually felt herself blush ever so slightly. She liked Matt, she really liked him, her blush should make that obvious enough, however she answered with a smile.
"Well" she began slowly and then couldn't stop herself from grinning, "I really, really, really like him" she said and then went into a fit of giggles, not particularly Daphne like, but she was her friend, they were alone at this moment and they were talking about a man, it was like being back at school. "He's so sweet to me, he treats me wonderfully, I mean really, what more can I ask for?" Daphne rolled off, actually she could think of more, marriage, babies, she blushed again as she thought of it, but didn't dare mention it, not yet anyway, she didn't want Matt finding out she was thinking like that quite yet. It might shock him somewhat.

Becca smiled as her friend went on about Matt. It was hard not to laugh along with her friend who was like a love struck teenager again. “Well I’m glad that you’re crazy about him. Its good to see you happy.” She hoped Matt felt the same way about Daphne because if he didn’t she would be there yelling at him.
Now that her coffee was half way down in her cup Becca felt like she was somewhat intruding on her friend’s life. “Now please stop me anytime.” She smiled not wanting to ask too many personal questions. “Really.”

"Oh, I'm definitely crazy about him alright" Daphne said and smiled, and blushed and then laughed all pretty much at the same time. "It's nice to feel happy, I haven't felt that way for a long time Becca" Daphne replied with a grin, as she drank some more of her coffee.
Daphne just smiled as Becca went on about stopping her from prying any time she liked. Daphne never saw it as Becca prying however. She just grinned at her friend, and took a final sip of her coffee, and put her hand on Becca's arm.
"Really, you aren't prying Becca, it's fine, I don't mind talking about my life, besides it's been quite some time, other than what you've told me already, what have you been getting up to?" Daphne found herself asking her friend with a smile.

She shook her head not sure how to answer the question. She only worked, found a place for Molly and got her sister‘s memories back from a guy she half remembered who stole her powers list. “Well not much. After dropping out of school after my dad died I really didn’t do much.” She looked to her hands not sure what she should tell her but she opted for the truth.
“I worked for this company called Primatech for awhile but I quit that and now I’m helping a group out while searching for a job no less.” Smiling as she drank the rest of her coffee walking to the sink placing her cup in before turning back at Daphne with a half fake smile. “I mean you think they would need more paramedics out there but no.”

Daphne listened carefully to Becca as she spoke about what she had been doing, and of course was sad when she spoke of her dad dying and again Daphne felt herself put a hand on Becca's arm and pat it comfortingly even though it was quite a while ago since it had happened.
Then she went on to speak about working at Primatech, which made Daphne's eyes pop open slightly. She must have worked there before Daphne joined it because surely Daphne and Becca would have seen each other.
"You worked at Primatech? That must have been before I joined then" Daphne said, stating the obvious. But she couldn't help but say that, it was funny that Daphne should work for the very company Becca left.
"Paramedics?" Daphne questioned not quite sure she was getting what Becca was referring to. "So what's this other group you are working for now then?" she had to ask Daphne was finding it all rather intriguing.

She smiled when her friend comforted her. It felt nice. “You work there?” Shaking her head. “It seems like everyone joins them once and then leaves or doesn’t.” She had heard that her one time friend Sarah Ellis or Eden worked for them for awhile before she shot herself. Probably cause the company is crazy.
“Yeah paramedics.” She states as she sits back down. “I mean I know driving an ambulances isn’t that of saving someone’s life but it could help them.” She looked at her friend who questioned about her group. “Um well I cant say much since I’m not sure what they really want but its crazier then Primatech. It almost makes me miss Angela.” She chuckles.

"Yeah I work there" Daphne said lowering her head slightly, "Used to work for their rival company Pinehearst actually until I realised I was getting mixed up with a very bad and wrong crowd of people, and so I decided to go and work for Primatech, Angela really isn't that bad" Daphne tried to explain with a little laugh.
"Sure some of the ways they go about things could be handled better, but they still do it for the greater good" Daphne was actually defending Angela Petrelli which sounded a bit weird, but she couldn't help but laugh over it at the same time.
Daphne nodded her head in agreement with what Becca was saying about being a paramedic. "I see, sorry I just didn't understand what you were referring to. So you'd like to have been a paramedic but they didn't need any? I would have thought they could always do with more of those too" Daphne said finally grasping what her friend had been saying. And she was right, paramedics were almost nearly the first on the scene, and they certainly could help save someone's life.
"Well that sounds complicated" Daphne said about the group Becca said she had joined. In a way Daphne was glad that she was with the 'crazy' Primatech.

Becca nods not really up to date on the whole Pinehearst thing. “Pinehearst yeah not sure on that company. If you ask me its just family drama.” She knew that Angela’s husband Arthur ran the opposing company which made the Petrelli family more messed up then anyone else’s.
“Yeah the greater good. Now having Molly’s memory erased was good for somebody.” She looked to the ground then back up at her friend knowing she shouldn’t be accusing people when she didn’t know all the facts. “I’m not sure if they did it or not. All I know is after Thompson took Molly for her to get better everything changed.”
She really wished that her old boss didn’t do that to her sister but she wasn’t sure who to trust on that front. Heck It could have been Mohinder. “Oh don’t worry I’ll find a job it will just take time.” When Daphne states that Becca’s job seems intense she chuckles. “My whole life is complicated.”

Daphne nodded when Becca said that it was just family drama, she actually had to agree, because that really was all it was. However Daphne still felt a lot safer at Primatech than she ever did at Pinehearst. Arthur Petrelli was a bad man.
"I guess you're right, family drama, but I admit hand on heart, I feel much safer at Primatech than I ever did at Pinehearst, that Arthur Petrelli is a very evil man, he's dangerous, he would have killed me if I hadn't got out when I had" Daphne explained and shuddered as she thought of the memory of that painting which Usutu had shown all those weeks ago.
"Well erasing Molly's mind wasn't what I was actually talking about when I spoke about the greater good, I was meaning more, the way they take in people with dangerous abilities and help them to control them. Primatech has changed a lot over the last few months trust me, yeah they still have a habit of scaring the shit out of people, but as I say, I've seen people being unable to control a dangerous ability and walk out a much better person for it" Daphne explained trying to defend the company she was now a member of.
"So, if they had erased Molly's memory, then I'm sorry they did, but I wasn't around back then I don't think" Daphne replied, as she looked at her friend sadly. Getting your memory erased was not a good thing, but sometimes if you've seen something disturbing, getting rid of it, isn't always a bad thing. At least that's what Daphne thought.
"I'm sure you will" Daphne said as she patted her friend on the arm, giving her reassurance about finding a job soon. "Well aren't we the Queens of complicated life?" Daphne added, "After all, this is the person who was going to go down a life of evil, now look at me?" Daphne said grinning, pointing to herself, feeling quite good that she was now an acting mom. How her life had changed.

Becca shook her head she would never think that Primatech was good. “If you say so. I rather believe that Angela is the spawn of the wicked witch of the west.” She smiled knowing she was just mad about all the things they had made her do. “I’m glad they changed but I’m staying away far away as possible.”
“Though sometimes it seems nice to be a Petrelli.” She longed for parents even if they hated each other. “Look at Peter and Nathan they are close and well Nate can get you in anywhere I hear.” Becca had met both boys while in Japan but first impressions weren’t are all nice as some lead you to believe. “Peter seems nice.” Becca looks at her friend. “Ok so he has a ego but don’t we all.”
She laughs at her friend knowing she spoke the truth. “Well my life is messed up as it is complicated.” This was the first time Becca had felt not normal even with having a family with powers she always felt normal but now she wasn’t sure.
