December 10, 2008
Jason Moore walked down the streets of New York. It was a first. It was a first because this was his first time walking in the streets of America and not getting odd looks from civilians. Jason was probably happy because this would be the first time without suicide bombers and other nonsense things that he encountered in Iraq.
Let’s just face it. He was glad to be home.
After spending time in Germany, he was just glad to be home. There is something you have to understand when soldiers are wounded in Iraq, after spending time in an M*A*S*H unit they are sent to Landstuhl, Germany. Now don’t get Jason wrong, he loved Germany, but he really just wanted to go home. He wanted to see his siblings and family.
Jason sighed at the thought of being wounded and the thought of some of his friends never made it home. It was him that made it home. Perhaps it was his ability that saved him. However, he wasn’t sure. He was confused. He just couldn’t remember after he got wounded. All he could remember was a flash of blue light.
He bit down on his lower lip as he thought of his family. He wondered what everyone was doing. He wondered if any of them were in New York. Of course, they could be anywhere in the country. He was living in New York because he got a job at a Bioscience firm called Pinehearst. They promised him that they would get rid of his PTSD. He hoped that they weren’t bluffing. He wanted to be normal again.

Being close to his family when Christmas was just around the corner, was what he wanted the most. He hadn't seen his younger siblings in what felt like years. Perhaps it was years. He had been overseas, studying medicine in Asia and only had minimal contact with those whom he loved. One thing he did know what that Jason was over seas, fighting, and the twins were working in New York. That was the update from the start of last year before he backed his belongings and flew to the disadvantaged country.
Now that he was back, he was pretty sure that he'd pass his final exams with ease, the experience with all types of diseases came easily to him. He cheated though, using his power to rapidly repair the illnesses of those who were too sick and frail to fight the battle alone. But, he knew he was doing the right thing, he was saving lives. That's all he wanted to do in the end, was save lives so they could live to be a 102. Pulling a peice of paper from his pocket and skimming over the address which Katie had sent to him while he was in Asia, he smiled and tucked it back into his pocket. Carrying his luggage, he continued walking along the streets of New York.
It felt bigger than he had remembered it, his last visit only 3 years previously. Somehow in that time it grew. Hours, was what it felt like, walking the large blocks to get to the company which his youngest brother and sister worked, and with a sigh he looked up at the building he stood in front of. "This must be it?" he asked himself looking for a sign of the company.

A few days ago Josh had told Katie when they were meeting up with Anthony he had heard Jason was coming back. She had been excited about this, but because she hadn't heard anything herself, she was refusing to believe it. But she couldn't deny it would be good to see him. It would be good to see William too. She missed her older brothers. She was closest to Josh because he was her twin, but she loved both her older brothers, because they were, like Josh, very protective of her. Or at least, they had been before they went off to the big open world to do their own thing.
So Katie was making her way to Primatech since she'd got her job there, well she and Josh were making their way to Primatech, since they were both working there. It was like their third day working for The Company, and so far they hadn't been given any sort of mission as yet.
"So what do you make of The Company then, and Angela, now you've been there for a couple of days?" Katie found herself asking Josh as they both walked along to the building they worked in.
Just then however, Katie saw someone just ahead of them, standing outside the building. She stopped walking and just stared ahead of her. Now Josh had mentioned something about Jason coming home, and she had wished William would, but she didn't think he actually would, but that was definitely him. She put her arm out to stop Josh from walking.
"Look Josh, look it's William, I know it's him" she said in an excited voice, before she took off, leaving Josh probably in wonderment as she ran toward William and more or less threw her arms around him in a hug, "Oh My God William, it's you, it's really you, you've come home" she shouted excitedly.

Why, oh why, did Josh have to work at Primatech? Seriously, they’d only been there a couple of days and Josh was disliking it. So far they’d only gone on baby runs, and Josh was bored. He gets bored of things easily, like Halo. When all his friends were still exploding about this new achievement they got on Halo, Josh had offhandedly said he was bored with Halo. It was true: he played it too much, had gotten all the achievements his friends got, and had just plumb gotten bored. Sure, there was more to do with Halo, but Josh was the type of guy who moved on rather quickly.
Like Primatech. “I don’t know, Katie, truly.” Josh said, shaking his head to her question. He wanted to get to better things, he wanted to do better things, he wanted to get recognized. And Primatech was just not cutting it for him. He wanted to do something, anything. And it seemed that today was going to be a better day because of what Katie saw.
Who [/b] Katie saw. “Is that Willaim?” Josh asked just when Katie exclaimed who it was. So it was Will. What was he doing here? Wait, Will was here, here, here! Josh was stunned. Then Katie ran ahead of him, which she really shouldn’t have done. Twins were supposed to actually act like twins sometimes, running around everywhere together. But Josh didn’t feel like running toward his brother—only girls did that. He walked sedately up to his brother before stopping a little away waiting for Katie to finish hugging him. Josh could hug his brother, after all. [/blockquote]

Jason was on assignment for Pinehearst. He was suppose to go by this company called Primatech and get some files for this Dr. Suresh. He looked at the address that was written on the paper. It should be somewhere near here. It would seem to Jason. The twenty-four year old bit down on his lower lip and headed towards where the Company was.
He was busy in his thoughts when his cell phone rang. He answered it and began to speak into the phone. “Yes, Suresh I’m near Primatech” He said into the phone as he wasn’t paying much attention. “I get it, get the files and come back to New Jersey” He said into the phone as he walked through the crowd. “I got it doctor Jason said in annoyed tone as he shut off his phone.
He placed the phone into his pocket as he looked at saw his siblings. This had to be an illusion. Now why would all of them be in the same place? Sure it was near Christmas, but he really didn’t expect to see them in New York of all places. He was going to surprise them. He hoped that those three he saw were his siblings. It would be kind of embarrassing if they weren’t.
He slowly walked over towards him, but his phone rang around. He sighed and answered it. Not bothering to look at the caller idea. “Listen Mohinder, I know the deal” He said into the phone as he approached his siblings. However, the voice wasn’t Dr. Suresh’s it was Sylar’s. “Oh, hello Sylar, I’m doing an errand for Mohinder” He said into the phone as he stopped. He was a few feet from his siblings. “Yes, sir I will do that after I gather these files from Primatech” He said into the phone as he hung up. He placed the phone into his pocket.
He then went over to his siblings, “So what is this special occasion for!?” asked Jason with a sarcastic tone as he gave a smile just shaking his head as he looked at his siblings.

He lifted his leg and placed a foot on the first step to the entrance of the buildling, lifting himself up on that step he would have made it further if he hadn't of felt a grappling hug around his middle. Looking down under his arm he saw a familiar bright blonde head, to which he smiled. Letting her linger on him for a moment he lowered his arm and took a step down. "Katie," William said smoothly, before bursting into a spritely laugh as she didn't let go of him. Bringing her up into a warm and welcoming hug, lifting her off her feet and twirling her around for a moment before setting her back down and kissing her on the forehead, "...my favourite twin!" he laughed lightly, letting his hand remain on her shoulder. She was considerably shorter than he was, although she had grown quite a bit since he first left to Asia. "Now, he wouldn't be around here without you, so... where is he?" Will asked Katie, referring to her twin. As he looked up and glanced around, he saw the solemn figure walking towards them, his hands in his pockets. Widening his smile, he walked past Katie and threw his arms around her twin. Doing the same as he did to his sister, picked Josh up and spun him around with a monster of a hug, playfully teasing just to embarrass the poor lad, and placed him back down on his feet.
It hadn't set in how much he had missed his sister, as much as he loved his other brothers, his sister was the blessing in disguise. Of course, he wouldn't take any of them for granted, as they had all been there in his life just as much as he was in theirs for the younger part of their childhood. Adult hood had been something else, different and felt slightly estranged. After his departing farewells, he enjoyed his job, but his family was what he missed the most. "Did you get all my letters?" he asked the twins as he hugged them both again, he was just so excited to see them, he almost didn't want to let go - ever.
Of course, it wasn't a family reunion without the other brother. Perhaps, almost the 'forgotton' brother. Not that Jason was ever fogotten to William, but he was the middle child, and often was left without. Turning around at the voice he immediately recognized, William smirked and tillted his head to the side. "Why... I just peed myself." William replied dropping all playfullness in his expression and looking oddly serious. Glancing down at his crotch, and then looking around to see if anyone noticed his imaginary pee soaked jeans, he shook his head and laughed, lunging forward to pull his brother into a gracious hug.

Katie was a little surprised when Josh said he wasn't sure whether he enjoyed working at Primatech. She had thought he would have been excited about it, but she was obviously wrong. To be fair they hadn't really been working there long enough, nor had Katie been given any mission to do, so she felt it was too soon to say whether she liked it or not.
"Yes, it's William" Katie said in happiness before she'd run off to reach Will before Josh. She couldn't help herself, she hadn't seen him for a very long time. Come to think of it, neither had Josh, but she couldn't help it. She couldn't help but run to Will first.
She just grinned when he said her name, and then pulled her into the hug, lifting her up off her feet, twirling her around, and putting her down before kissing her on the forehead. It was typical of Will to treat her like that after such a long time away from each other. He also called her his favourite twin. "Yes it is I, you're favourite twin" Katie repeated with a grin. Then Katie watched in joy as Will greeted her twin Josh, greeting him in the exact same way he had greeted Katie. She began to laugh, knowing full well Will would have done it simply to embarrass Josh.
It was so good to see Will again, Katie was overjoyed. Katie grinned, "Yes we got all your letters, of course we did, you got ours too right?" Katie asked, hoping he had, and that there wasn't some block on him getting letters where he had been, because that would have been sad. "I missed you much Will" Katie said softly, giving him another smile, just as he once again hugged both her and Josh.
Katie couldn't help but laugh at the wet crotch joke. But also swung round when she heard the familiar voice of her other brother Jason. They were altogether again, finally. It was just simply amazing. Katie would have hugged Jason, but Will had got there first.
"Jason" Katie said instead, "I can't believe it, I can't believe you're both here, I've got all my brothers together again, it's just simply fantastic" she said and grinned as she waited behind Will so she too could hug Jason.

Josh wasn’t overly thrilled with being catapulted through the air by his older brother. But Josh had not seen William for a while, and so let his brother twirl him around like he was just some fancy life-sized doll. He wondered how William got that strong. But, being away from the United States and all, William was bound to have picked up some strength somewhere. He wondered where he could get some strength like that. He smiled just to show Will that he had gotten what his brother was trying to do: embarrass him. Unfortunately, Katie had embarrassed him way too much in public for him to really be embarrassed. He placed a few fake punches where Will’s gut was to get Will to let him go.
But Josh didn’t feel like communicating. Sure, Will was home, but Jason wasn’t, and Jason was saying that he would be home soon. Of course that wasn’t true, because he wasn’t here when the others were. It was annoying, just about as annoying as Angela Petrelli was when it came to dishing out missions. Just ‘cause they were twins didn’t mean they were bad a missions, or that they were that recognizable.
Oh, Jason was here. Where had he been hiding? Josh turned around and watched as Jason strolled up the street. He smiled then, because he was happy that Jason was here; he was happy that, for once, the males in the Moore family could gang up on Katie like they had all those years ago. Now he wouldn’t be embarrassed about grabbing up his sister and throwing her into the water fountains that Primatech boasted.
“Hey, Jason!” Josh called in between his sister’s squeals and the hugging frenzy. “Long time no see, where’ve you been hiding?” He asked good naturedly, and cut in front of Katie to hug Will.

Jason gave a smirk when he saw his brother. He just couldn’t help, but laugh. It would seem that William oh poor William had peed his pants. He just raised an eyebrow and shook his head in disappoint at his older brother. He was obviously setting a bad example. For god’s sake the older one of the clan, peed his pants. What the hell was this world coming to!?
The twenty-four year old just looked at his siblings and wondered what William meant when he said ‘this must be it!?’ he had no clue what that meant at all and wasn’t going to ask about it. However, once he looked up, he saw the sign. PRIMATECH. Excellent, I have found it! He thought to himself.
He hugged his sister and younger brother back. It was an excellent time to meet siblings. It was after all the holidays. It was the time of giving or whatever. However, but truth be honest Jason hated Christmas. He just hadn’t felt it in a while. He was Scrooge this year. He just smiled and placed his hand in his coat pocket.
“I have been around, just got back from Iraq” He began tilting his head “Not going back for a long time” He said as he turned around and lifted the back of his hair reviving a series of stitches, “Suicide bomber!” He said sighing as he faced his siblings again. “I’m now working at a firm called Pinehearst” He said as he looked at Primatech “And it just happens that I’m needed in that building to gather some files for my boss” He said with a weak smile “So what are you guys and gals doing here!?”

It was like a crazy frenzie, people going placed, hands reaching out, questions being directed into the air for anyone to take and answer. This is what he loved and missed about family. It gave him great pleasure to see his sister, she was his favourite, considering she was the only girl in the family - he had grown a special bond with her, even though he was fully aware that she didn't need looking after, he wanted to baby her as much as humanily possible before she grew up any faster. "Of course," he replied to her. Katie's bright and excited face radiated as she was desperate to hear about the letters they replied back to.
There seemed to be a small lull in the reunion as Jason mentioned coming back from Iraq, that type of topic was hard to hear about. As much as he admired his brother for fighting for America, but was painfully worried that something dreadful was going to happen, and none of them would have found out until much later. William frowned concerned for Jason as he showed them his stitches in the back of his head. Seeing them, William's eyes widened, and then peered closer at the stitching. "Rough job?" he said more to himself as he looked at the intracies of the needlework. When he turned back around, William took a step back and smiled for no real reason as Jason went on to explain his job at the current time.
"Oh, sounds ominous," he commented hearing about the job. Folding his hands behind his back he waited for the younger siblings to tell Jason what they were doing standing outside the building, as many of the citizens had to walk around the small group to get to their lunch date - no doubt, but for Will, he was there simply for the regrouping of his twin kids.

Katie laughed at the Will lifted and hugged Josh too, she knew he was doing it simply to embarrass him, and from what Katie could see it had worked, and that was what made Katie laugh. Although she laughed a lot in the company of Josh, but she laughed even more in the company of all her brothers, and it was so good to have them all back again, even if it would mean they may gang up on her and tease her again.
Josh seemed to be more interested in talking with Jason than Will. Katie loved all her brothers, and of course was especially close to her twin, but not that she had a particular favourite, but she had bonded more with Will out of the two older brothers, probably because Will always treated her so well, and was protective of her, just like they all were really.
Katie listened to Jason as he spoke about coming back from Iraq and showing off his stitched head. It didn't look nice and she wasn't too happy to hear about what went on over in Iraq, as it was upsetting. She was worried that Jason would never come back. But he was here and she was glad to hear him say he wasn't going back.
Hugging into Jason again she said sadly, "Don't go back there ever, I don't want anything to happen to you" however, she went back to Will "I'm glad you got our letters too Will" she said brightly and stood there, laughing at first over his pretend peed trousers, just like Will to play a practical joke like that she thought. She then put her arm around his waist hugging him to her as she leaned her head on his arm. When Jason spoke of working for Pinehearst, it made Katie take notice, although not moving from where she stood hugging into Will.
"Pinehearst are the enemies Jason" she couldn't help saying slowly, "We're out here, because Josh and I work for Primatech" she sure hoped Jason wasn't going to turn to the dark side.

Josh wasn’t particularly thrilled about having the whole family here, outside Primatech. He knew some sort of questions would arise concerning Primatech sooner or later. And he was right.
Right after Jason told everyone about Iraq—and showed off his scars—Jason explained that he worked in Pinehearst now. Why, of course he wouldn’t be working for Primatech; why would he? That’d make too much sense. He’d been too out of touch with anyone lately to know that Pinehearst and Primatech were polar opposites. Pinehearst was horrible, a villain-grabber.
Not like Primatech was all that much better. Josh shrugged, “I bet they pay you well over there.” Was all he said.
If ya can’t beat them, join them… or at least make them think you’re on their side. “Speaking of companies, are you going to join one, Will?”

“Of course it was a rough job, Sherlock” Jason said as he rolled his eyes to Will. He then was lost in a bit of translation as he hoped that he started to reflect on his work. He was here at Primatech to gather files on people. He had no clue if they would let him take the files. They better. Oh his two bosses would hurt him.
He raised an eyebrow at Katie when she spoke about that the twins worked at Primatech and how he was working for an evil company. He rolled his eyes, “Right” he said a bit sarcastically. “Well, I don’t see it that way, we are helping people” He began as he carefully choose his words. “We are working on something extraordinary” He said as he folded his arms. Deciding to press the issue on what they (the people) at Pinehearst were working on.
“And yes, Josh they pay very well” He said with a slight smirk. “Anyways, I’m here to gather files for my boss, Mohinder Suresh, even though I don’t understand why he couldn’t come himself” He said ranting. “Then again Pinehearst is very weird, I know how to pick the weirdest jobs” He admitted to himself.

There wasn't really much he could say in amongst the chatter of the siblings, but just smiled lightly as Katie was happy that he received all the letters that she had sent to him. It was a nice feeling, opening up the mailbox with her familiar scripted lettering of his name, even opening the scented letter that was typically his sister - but he loved her more for it. William held her close, as she threw her arm around his waist. Being taller than her, she fit rather snuggly in the curver of his armpit, and allowed his arm to fall around her shoulder.
He kind of let the adults talk, as he didn't really have any comments or observations about the two conflicting companies battling it head to head, and seeming as though his family might just be doing the same. However, quiet as he was, he observed the slow and careful speech of Jason, Katie and Josh; and rubbed Katie's arm supportingly of her disagreement of the other company - he wasn't blind to see that she didn't like the idea of her older brother working for the 'evil' company. Will turned his head as Josh asked if he was going to join, and a small slight surprise crept across his face.
"Me?" He half heartedly laughed, "No, I somehow don't think I'd be joining anything of the sort. Besides, it already sounds like these two companies are splitting the family." Will wasn't afraid to ever speak his mind, perhaps giving some perspective to his siblings when they fought, either way, he didn't think his talents were for the companies. "...I have other plans..." he trailed off turning his head over his shoulder to look down the street.

"Obviously you don't see it that way" Katie said a little annoyed at her older brother Jason. Why would he do such a thing? Why couldn't he see what Pinehearst were doing was wrong? They weren't going to help anybody, they were going to make a substance which would take all their abilities away, Katie didn't like that idea. She'd also heard a rumour, that they might be making something which could kill people like them.
"Can't stop you from working there I guess" she voiced suddenly, "But it doesn't make me feel comfortable, I've heard they're making something to take away our abilities, or to even kill, you really want to work for a company like that?" Katie asked Jason incredulously.
Katie felt Will's arm going down around her shoulder and pulling her tightly to him in the hug, which she was grateful for, she suddenly felt a little threatened in the company of her older brother Jason. She also felt him rub her arm supportively. Of course then Josh asked Will if he was thinking in joining one of the companies, and his answer made Katie begin to wonder if she and Josh had done the right thing in joining Primatech.
She looked up at Will, and then from Jason to Josh, "You know, Will's right, it is splitting the family, and I really don't like that idea at all to be honest" she said softly, Katie loved her brothers, and felt she had been close to them all, even Jason. But since she just met them, she suddenly didn't feel as close to Jason, and it hurt in a way.
"I mean, we should really be stopping you from getting those files Jason, but I don't want to fight with my own family, it doesn't feel right" she said, looking back up at Will with what would probably be fear in her eyes. Other than Josh who was her twin and was close to him simply because he was her twin, she felt very close to her oldest brother.
