It was times like these when Josh wondered if Katie was really his twin sister. Sure, they had almost the exact same personality, the exact same likes and dislikes, and the exact same political views. But when it came to siding with their brothers, Josh and Katie might as well have been polar opposites. Josh’s favorite older brother was Jason, Katie’s fave was Will.
And now Josh had to take Jason’s side. “Maybe Jason doesn’t know about that, Kate.” Josh countered. “I mean, he just got back.”
But then Josh decided that, yes, this was stupid. The family was being split up over nothing—and right when they’d met up, too. He nodded absentmindedly. “I suggest lunch.” She said, “How about Chili’s?”

Jason just glanced at all of his siblings and just rolled his eyes. He knew that they wouldn’t approve him of joining Pinehearst and he really didn’t care what they thought. It was good pay and he loved going to work. He was working for the best geneticist in the world and it was an honor to work with Mohinder Suresh. He really didn’t think about what his siblings thought of. You could say he really didn’t value his sibling’s opinions.
The twenty-four year old tilted his head at Katie, “Listen, I’m just happy for a job and I don’t want to hurt anyone, but if that is what they are doing then I guess I’m putting a strain on this family, you remember what happened when you lot told me not to join the Military, and looked what happened, I did” He said with a weak. He was always the disappointment to his siblings.
Don’t get Jason wrong, he loved his siblings, but sometimes he wondered if they hated him. Perhaps now that he had joined an ‘evil’ company they were prone to hate him. It really didn’t matter. He was hated by many people and his siblings were just going to join the list of people who hated him. It really didn’t bother him at all.
He looked at Josh and gave a weak smile. “I know about some things” He said in a weak voice. “I know that we have been working on the virus in question, but Suresh keeps on delaying it and it is pissing off Mr. Petrelli” He said sighing as he started to defend Pinehearst. He then sighed when Josh suggested lunch. “I’m going to have to pass, even though I love Chili’s” He said with a sigh.

Will remained quite as the others were speaking about the companies, truth be told he hadn't heard of either company and didn't know anything about them. So, instead of stepping in and breaking up the heated discussion, Will said nothing. Keeping his arm around his sister as Josh seemed to side with Jason as he usually would. Not that it bothered Will, because he loved his brothers more than they would have ever realized, but none of them showed any affection for one another, it was easier to show affection with Katie - because she welcomed it, but the other two, they weren't open to it.
From what William could gather. It had always been that way for as long as he could remember.
"... drop it." Will said quietly to Katie as Jason defended his reasoning for joining the company. Truth be told, he would do the same thing if it meant that he was getting paid for it, desperate times always calls for desperate measures. He knew that this could get messy, so as Josh suggested lunch, Will's blank face moulded into a smile. "That's the best thing I've heard all day," he smiled at Josh.
"I'm up for it," he added before Jason declined, he wondered why Jason didn't want to - perhaps it was too confronting being of opposite companies? He could understand that, it would have been hard, but Jason was always one to do things on his own and for his own reasons. That's why he liked Jason, but at the same time, was always frustrated with him.

Katie just let out a surrendered sigh. Josh was right in a way, Jason had just got back and likely didn't know anything about the warring companies, and what difference did it make? Her older brothers were back, she should be happy, not upset.
"Fair point" she said backing down, but finding it difficult to smile. The fact they worked for different companies was going to cause friction in the family and once again Katie began to wonder if she should just quit Primatech and be finished with it.
Will was telling her to drop it, and he was right. She didn't want to cause any more upset, and she loved her brother. She looked up at him and smiled. "Sure" she softly to Will before turning back to Jason with a smile.
"Okay, let's just drop this because it's getting stupid, I've missed you when you were gone" she said. She wanted to go and give him a hug to make up for earlier, but she found herself rooted with William and the thought of leaving his side was proving difficult.
When Josh suggested going for something to eat, Katie thought it was a brilliant idea and thankfully so did Will, just a pity Jason didn't want to go. "Well I'm with Will, I think it's a great idea and I definitely want to go" she said with a grin, looking from Josh, to Will and back to Jason.
"Sure you wont reconsider coming?" she asked him, after all it would be great if all the family could be together somewhere like Chili's for lunch.
