This is an Invite Only thread[Currently, the people invited is, really, anyone who wants to help torment and kill Lori Heathan. The names I can remember are Lori, Arthur, Gisa (if she wants), Lance Fox, and Sylar (if she wants). Whoever else wants can join] December twenty-third, two-thousand eightToday was Lori’s day off. She was going Christmas shopping for Lauren. Maybe she’d just shirk her duties and buy her sister another dog. Maybe Lauren could call that dog Zorrett and it could be a male dog. Lori disliked shopping for her sister because Lauren never had any real preferences.
Lori decided to walk the quick way to the mall; better to get shopping done and over with for Lauren. The quick way included many alleyways and places she normally wouldn’t be caught dead in, no pun intended. She became invisible, knowing that the bums that lived here would want her jewelry, and possibly her virginity. Yes, that’s how Lori thought all bums were; stereotypical. Well, she wasn’t going to give them that satisfaction. She took pride in the fact that she knew how to use her ability as well as the 4 mm handgun she kept at her side. It was during these times more than ever that she liked how to use the gun.
She walked silently and invisibly down the alleyway, but began to notice shadows following her. The hobos couldn’t see her, maybe people with Lauren’s abilities could. She spun around, pointed the gun at the closest shadow, and fired. No one would care if a hobo died---
But this was no hobo. “Arthur Pe-Pet-Petrelli?” Lori asked, dumbfounded.

Lori Heathan had an ability that he wanted. He didn’t necessarily want to kill her for that ability, but he knew some people who were getting antsy. Lance Fox was one of those people. Arthur didn’t know how many times he’d had to replace Fox’s secretaries. He’d killed a few, injured a few, and even sent one to an insane asylum. Arthur had long since given up giving Fox secretaries with abilities. But Fox seemed to need to let his frustration out, and who better to do it to than Lori Heathan?
Hell, she wouldn’t be anything without her powers, anyway.
Arthur summoned Fox and a couple others to his office earlier that morning. He had told them that Miss Heathan had disobeyed him, and she needed to be killed. He even went so far as to tell Fox that if he personally didn’t kill Heathan, he’d be out of a job. There was a catch: Arthur wanted to steal Heathan’s power first. Then he instructed everyone to touch him, and he teleported out.
When they arrived in the alleyway that Heathan was travelling down, Arthur could see nothing, but knew she was there. Heathan had the power to turn invisible with a moment’s notice. Arthur wanted that power. Heathan shot at him, and then uttered his name. He stopped the bullet in midair and watched as it spun slowly. After picking it out of the air and holding it in his fingers for a second, Arthur smiled. “Hello, Miss Heathan.
“I’ve got a favor to ask. Either way, I’ll get what I want, but you can choose to give me your power willingly or have me take it from you.”
“Never.” Said the voice of the invisible woman, and the click of a gun.
Arthur immobilized the woman, smiling. She shouldn’t have spoken and given away her position. He walked to her and placed a hand on what he assumed was her chest, and stole her power. She became visible, powerless. Arthur, his work done, turned to Fox and the others.
“Have fun with her. But don’t let her escape alive.” He said in his gruff voice, and then teleported away. The others could find their way back to Pinehearst some other way.

Gisa had been standing on a roof with her feet dangling over the edge, appreciating the view. It was a nice part of the city with beggars and people stricken with poverty all over the place. It was really... depressing on several different levels. Then she saw something very... odd to say the least.
First, a bunch of people appeared out of nowhere. Now, Gisa felt properly indignant because that was her power, thank you very much. For a bunch of people to be able to do it at once WITHOUT the portal to accompany it. Well, that was just plain insulting. Then some old geyser touched thin air and there was a glowy-thing. Then, a girl appeared out of nowhere. Well that was too much to bear!
These people were making Gisa feel distinctly unspecial and insignificant. Even worse, they were driving down her life score. She was going to have to find a way to win against them. There was a lot of those people, so winning would be hard.
Then the old geyser vanished saying something about not letting the new girl come out alive. Good! Well, that gave Gisa her mission. Gisa would win against them by protecting that woman. That'd be easy. Gisa could go anywhere in the city and they couldn't follow if they didn't know where Gisa was going.
Gisa made a portal in the air below her feet with the end result being behind and above the damsel. Then, Gisa made the leap.
"How do you do?" Gisa said to the girl, "Follow me!" She made another portal to the roof and gave a bow to the motley crowd. Then, she grabbed the girl and pulled her in the direction of the portal.

Las Vegas was a place that Sylar always wanted to visit. Well, here he was in Las Vegas he had gambled away money and won at least two thousand dollars and now he was bored out of his mind. Perhaps there was something for him to kill. He always liked to go on a murder spree.
And for once Riley Bishop wasn’t following him around. So he could do what nature intended him to do. Murder countless people and then be on his way. He was like Lord Voldemort’s doing the Killing Curse on people, but he was doing people a favor by killing them. He was taking their abilities and using them for the greater good or was he!?
However, he really wasn’t going to murder people not today.
Today was an off day of murdering. Of course, he hadn’t killed in a long time and he was so hungry for murdering, but today he decided that it wasn’t going to be the day that he slipped. He couldn’t do that to Riley, not yet. He really didn’t understand why he was even letting her hang around him.
He didn’t know.
He wasn’t thinking very much as he randomly teleported and found himself on a roof of some kind of thing. He had just watched his father take away the abilities of a helpless girl. He had no clue why, he felt that it was just wrong. He had no clue why it felt wrong, but the next thing he knew there were two people on the roof with him…
“Hey did Arthur still your powers?!” He asked randomly. He had no clue why he would ask a helpless soul this. But perhaps it was his destiny to betray his father once!?

Holt stood in the back of the small group as Arthur spoke about a former Agent, Lori. Holt despised her. He really didn't know why. He just was jealous of her ability. And know that Arthur had stopped speaking and transported them to a musky alley way. He wondered to why they were all there. That was until Arthur started to speak to a random person, after a gunshot rang through the air.
Arthur raised his arm as he took this invisible girls ability. He then noticed it was Lori Heathen herself. He smiled as her ability was drained from her body. This was just getting better as the day rolled on. Then Arthur gave them the right to kill her. This made Holt exited, he was glad to be apart of her downfall. Arthur then disappeared into thin air.
As he blinked, from his disappearance, he looked over from side to side. Then looked at her. This was it. She was going to die. And that was final. As he lit his hand with electric orbs and moved towards her. A new woman appeared, which startled Holt and stopped him in his place. This girl quickly helped Lori disappear into a strange portal. Than his eye caught something up high. He looked towards the direction of this movement. There she was, both of the girl. But there was another figure silhoutted with them. He couldn't tell who it was, so he raised his hands towards them and shot a electric orb towards the group of three.

Lance had been slightly annoyed when Arthur had called him in. One reason he was annoyed with the old man was because Arthur had taken away his secretary privileges. Sure he had a tendency to blow them all up and leave nothing behind, unless they got a low blast of his powers, but they deserved it. Arthur kept giving him a bunch of stupid, idiotic teenagers who didn't know the difference between a massage or a message.
However, once Lance had been informed of the reason why they were all summoned here, Lance felt like he could fly. Oh how he hated Lori. She was a stuck up, annoying, self-centered bitch. Hell, if he had time he could probably list twenty works to describe Lori, none of which were good words by the way. Now that he had the chance to kill, well, lets just say she was going to see the light.
Arthur had teleported them to some random street. A gun shot had gotten his attention and he turned to see a bullet floating in mid air. A few seconds later, Lori was visible before them all. Lance clutched his fist. He slowly started to gather energy. As the light began to blink in between his closed fingers, he smiled at Lori.
"Well Lori. It's a pleasant surprise to see you." he said. He held up his fist, which was now pulsating with solar energy. "How would you like to go? Fried or crispy?" Suddenly a portal opened in front of them and out stepped a woman, apparently to Lori's rescue. "No!" he yelled and opened his palm. However, instead of frying the two women, it sailed through the now empty air, toasting a brick wall and a hobo that just happened to witness it all. Well at least they won't have to worry about someone telling on them.
Lance heard the sound of electricity cutting through air and turned. Holt had spotted Lori and her rescuer. Well rescuers apparently if the third person up there was anything. "After them. I don't care how, I don't care who. Get Lori and do whatever you want with the other two." Lance told them. He found the door to the building and quickly entered in.

Lori couldn’t understand what was happening to her. One moment she thought she had shot a hobo, and the next a man was holding her and a bright light was travelling up his arm. Lori felt weak; she didn’t know what was wrong. Then she looked down at her hands. She could see them! What was happening to her? Slowly, her invisibility receded from her grasp. She gasped and dropped to the ground, a mess. Whatever this guy had done to her, it made her loose her powers. She was horrified, she didn’t want her powers gone!
Then, when the guy left, she noticed Lance Fox. He had this devilish glare in his eye, and she didn’t want to know why. Too bad, he told her. “You’re—You’re going to kill me, Fox?” Lori cried, a tear coursing down her cheek. She hoped Lauren didn’t know about what was going on; what would happen to her sister if she died? Yes, for once, Lori was thinking about someone other than herself; it was a miracle.
Then, before Lance could kill her, she was whisked away through a portal-thing with another woman. She froze. What was happening? They arrived on a rooftop with yet another person. Who the—oh God. Sylar. As if her day couldn’t get any worse. First she had Arthur Petrelli vaporizing from nowhere and stealing her powers, then Arthur’s goons trying to kill her, and then there was Sylar. Lori only knew Sylar from far-away; she had never seen him up close—this close. “Oh God oh God oh God.” Lori said, hugging her arms to herself. Even if she could have developed some sort of coherent phrase, she doubt she could have said it.
Why did they want her head? And why did Petrelli steal her power? Why would he want a power such as hers? “Th-th-they a-a-are trying t-t-t-to kill me!” She blurted, watching below as the group of Arthur’s goons entered the building. “What did I do wrong?”

Do you really think Arthur would stand down a chance to watch his henchmen kill a person? No. Arthur had only gone to get popcorn.
Even super-villains got hungry… and got the need to feed—on popcorn. However, this popcorn was not the best he’d ever had. Maybe next time he should just steal Lance’s power and pop his own popcorn free of charge. He teleported down to Fifth Street to the movie cinemas, then he bought popcorn, put salt on it, and teleported back to the scene of the crime. He was disappointed to see that Lance hadn’t done much. And if Lance had been smarter, Lance wouldn’t have gone into the building.
The woman was a teleporter like the man Arthur’d stole the power from, only she used portals. Once his henchmen were inside the building, the woman could easily teleport anywhere she wanted. Arthur popped a piece of popcorn in his mouth as he sat on the roof opposite the one the woman, Lori, and, yes, Sylar was on. Why was Sylar helping out? Or was Sylar going to kill Lori? Arthur really didn’t care; as long as Lori died. Why make Lori die? Because he wanted Lori to die, and that was final. Arthur popped another piece of popcorn in his mouth and watched the scene unfold.

“Oh god – Oh god” mimic Sylar as he rolled his eyes. He had no clue why the girl that he was speaking to was acting like an idiot it would seem to him. He wondered if he should just go on his business or help this girl. He decided for once that he would help this girl, but he would turn on her once the rest of people got up to the rooftop.
It would seem to be the best bet or so Sylar thought. He then noticed that the teleported that was pulling the girl that was saying Oh God – Oh God left. He just raised an eyebrow and looked at her as she started to panic or whatever it would seem to him.
“Okay, what the hell did you do to piss them off!?” asked Sylar in a calm voice. He was trying to manipulate her and he hoped that she wouldn’t get on his case for being all of sudden nice to her. This was just a part of his plan. He was going to act nice and then betray her.
You really didn’t think Sylar would betray his father or what!? Sylar wasn't going to start at this particular moment in time. He would just have to hope that nothing went wrong. "Follow me!" He instructed "I'm going to take you some place safe"

Holt chuckled quietly, as Lance decided to take the lead. He thought it was the funniest thing ever. Honestly, he hated Lance more than Lori. He never thought anyone could be so self-centered, but Lance busted that theory of his. But Holt followed Fox into the building after his speech, he couldn't believe he was. He rolled his eyes as he entered the building.
Shortly thereafter, they made it to the roof. Kingsley, being a loner, decided to go off on his own as soon as he stepped off the ladder and onto the rooftop. He turned away from the group and made his way to the opposite side of the building. He knew they wouldn't be on the rooftop, or at least this one. He began to search the surrounding rooftops. That’s where he noticed to silhouettes. But it was only a guy and a girl silhouette. This confused him, and he decided that it wasn't the two he was looking for. But then after his eyes adjusted to the sun, glaring down on his face. He noticed that the girl was of course Lori. But the other he also recognized as Sylar.
He made his way over to the edge of the roof, and began to think of how to make his way over to the next one. He looked over the gap between both buildings. He looked back to see how the others where doing. He didn't want them to see the two figures. He wanted all the glory for himself. The glory of killing Lori, himself.

Lance glanced around the building as he dashed up the stairs. He knew a lot of people here didn't like him, but he didn't care. For one he knew he could kill them easily and just say it was an accident. After all his powers were a full, wide blast and anyone in the way would get hurt. He smiled at himself. Arthur wouldn't mind he was sure.
As Lance raced up the top of the building, coming through the door, he realized Holt had beat him to it. Glaring, Lance held his fist. The glowing light from it was meant for Lori, but if Holt just happened to get in the way well..."Holt." Lance said in a low voice.

Lori suddenly realized what she had to do. Arthur may have stolen her ability, but he had not stolen her. She would stand up against Lance and whoever else Arthur threw up against her. She wasn’t afraid. Quite the opposite. No, Lori, when faced with death, was scared only for Lauren. How villainous was that?
She stopped sputtering and glared at the man. “You don’t fool me.” She said. She faced the door to the inside of the building where Lance was now standing. Fortunately there was another guy in Lance’s way. Otherwise, Lori surely would have already been dead. “They want me, and they won’t stop until they’ve got me.”
She was silent for a moment, thinking. And then she shrugged, “I don’t think I really did anything wrong. But you’d better not be here when Lance explodes.

Oh, this was getting good. Now Lori was figuring out that any way she tried, she’d still die. This was just too good. And, though he seemed to be helping her, Sylar was actually not. What a brilliant, conniving man. What a powerful son.
Arthur popped another piece of popcorn into his mouth and chewed on it experimentally. It was very buttery and extremely good. He popped another in his mouth, and wondered if this was how he had felt when he was a child. His parents had always been rather rich, even during the Great Depression. He’d had all he had wanted. Now he still always got what he wanted—Angela technically not included.
And now he wanted Lori dead. It seemed, happily to him, that he was still getting what he wanted, even after all this time.

Sylar just blinked as he saw Holt and Fox. How lovely! He thought to himself. He wondered what he should do next. He was still planning on being an asset to this girl that was soon going to die. He just didn’t want to admit it yet. She probably knew that he was going to betray her. Nevertheless, it didn’t matter to him. Not at all.
He then closed his eyes and an illusion appeared at random. The scene on top of the building had changed into a mall of some sorts. It was very real because Sylar added some people into the mix “Follow me, if you want to live” He said as pointed at her to follow him. However, as he took a few steps the illusion disappeared. “Damnt!” He snapped to himself. He decided to use telepathy to speak with the two.
“You know I could mess with her head a bit, I can change into her sister, if you want to make her scared to death and then you both can kill her” He projected to them “Or if you lot have any ideas everything would be welcomed.
“You know that I can heal right!?” He asked as he looked at Lori. “So if he explodes it won’t hurt me” He said rolling his eyes.

Holt was shocked that the silhoutted figure was Sylar. A friend from the days before the assassination of Wayne. The good times. He listened to Sylar as he spoke to them both, Lance and Holt. He began to think over the idea Sylar had.
But this wont work." he began to think. "She doesn't care about her sister. This woman is a real bitch." Holt finished thinking to Sylar. He needed to think at how they could stop this girl from running. Maybe make her walk off the edge of the building and fall to her death.
"Thats it!" he accidently thought loudly. "Sorry, but could you make an illusion of her fear and make her fall off the edge?"
