Kenji walked down the hall. He seemed to be rushed, anxious, upon other things. He was pacing towards the last door which had the words "General Saito" printed upon it. There was another attack on the south coast of Japan. Japanese were all in panic mode. Chaos had entered the japanese minds. Kenji had to fix this problem, and fast.
Kenji grabbed the handle of his door and twisted it. He pushed it open and shut it behind him. He took a seat behind his desk. As he sat down a knock came upon the door. "Enter." he said in his native tongue. The door opened and closed once more. The man whom entered bowed. "The Emperor would like to see you." the man spoke japanese also. Kenji nodded and the man bowed once more. He left.
Kenji grabbed his unform-hat, slipping it above his head. He fixed his badges and the straightness of the uniform. He opened the door and continued back down the hall. He exited the building a few minutes later. He entered the car, in which sat a popular japanese singer. He began to think he was in the wrong vehicle. "Sorry." he apologized and began to reach for the door handle to exit the vehicle.

Kia had been devastated when her parents died two years ago, she had only now just got over the ordeal, when her grandmother told her the news that her father Hiroshi wasn't her real father after all. She handed Kia a piece of paper, which had the correct name of her father, and where she could find him, and soon afterward her grandmother died.
So still in shock, Kia made her way from Australia to Japan, when her initial plan had been to find this Mohinder Suresh guy. But she wanted to find out if it was true, and if this person would want to accept her as his daughter.
She now sat in a vehicle outside the building where this Kenji Saito worked, and soon after a man entered the vehicle, looked at her, and assumed he was in the wrong car and made to leave. She immediately put her hand out onto his arm and stopped him from leaving.
"No, please, I must speak to you" she said in Japanese, unsure if he was able to speak English or not. "I have something important to tell you and I'm not even sure you know" she added, with a weak smile.

The day was a calm spring afternoon, a slight breeze every now and then. But Kenji liked it. Kenji slowly sat back, as she grabbed his arm. He wondered what she had to say that was so important to stop him. "Can we make this quick. I am a really busy man." he stated as he looked at the young looking girl. He say a small smile upon his face but he quickly looked away.

"I understand you're busy Mr Saito" Kia said still speaking in Japanese, "But this can not wait" she added with a weak smile. Kia hated to keep people back from their work, having a bit of a diva like lifestyle she knew what that could be like.
"I'm really sorry" she said "But you should really know this" she continued, and she handed him the piece of paper her grandmother had given her. It was her birth certificate. Her mother had got the correct father put on the birth certificate, but faked it to show her other father's name, so he would think he was Kia's real dad from the beginning.
"I'm your daughter" she finished, giving him a very weak smile, and biting down on her bottom lip. She wasn't sure how he was going to react, and she wasn't even sure he would like her, make her feel welcome or anything. She just had to hope.

Kenji began to become anxious as she apologized and told him that he needed to hear this. He had better things to do other than listen to a stuck up celebrity, even there was a possibility she wasn't. She handed him a piece of parchment. His eyes glared at it. He saw the words. His name was printed upon it along with some lady by the name of Toshiko Matsunaga. He tried to recall this lady and that where it hit him. She was the lady he had a one night stand with, twenty some years ago. He couldn't believe this. Was that truly his name, was she truly his daughter. He couldn't see how this was possible. His mouth dropped slightly in shock.
"Are you sure this is right? I mean it could be someone else can't it?" he asked in a slight fast pace.

[ooc: can you change your previous post - I was making out that Kia's mother had a one night stand and Kia's mother name is Toshiko Matsunaga - otherwise the connection isn't going to work - thanks]
Kia sat in the car patiently awaiting a response from this Kenji Saito, he didn't appear to have the time to be around her, and this worried her slightly. She began to feel that he wouldn't be interested in being her father, and if that was the case, then she would just have to get used to the idea. She had been alone for the past couple of years anyway, so it wouldn't take long for her to get over a rejection by him.
"Well, of course I'm not sure it's right, I did believe my parents were my parents for twenty two years Mr Saito, but my grandmother, well she wouldn't have any reason to lie on her deathbed, now would she?" she said slowly and sadly. Her grandmother had become her life when her parents died, and now she didn't have her grandmother, now she had nobody.
She was twenty four years old, and had nobody in her life who was special, unless he accepted her of course.

Japan had recently been attacked and now Kenji was fighting a two front battle. Vietnam and a newfound daughter. Of course the attack from Vietnam was the most important. He couldn't handle a daughter on top of all this, thats if she was truthfully his daughter. "Sorry. But I dont have time for this. I have a job to do." he gave her back the birth certificate and began to reach for the door handle again.

Kia had a feeling that this man wouldn't take the news very well, and she couldn't exactly blame him, as she hadn't taken the news very well either. Yes it was a shock to him, but it was just as much a shock to her. And the man blocking her out wasn't going to help either of them.
However when he told her he had work to do and handed her back the birth certificate, she couldn't help but put her hand out onto his arm and try to stop him from leaving.
"I'm sorry, that you're busy" she began, "But this has come as a shock to me just as much as it has to you, I don't expect you to accept me right away, I don't expect you to accept me at all, but is a little consideration too much to ask for?" she spoke to him in a rushed voice.
"I have no parents now, and my grandmother has just died leaving me with this revelation, I've come all this way, what am I supposed to do?" she pressed him slightly. She really didn't want to bring out her diva antics on him to make him talk to her, but she would if that's what it was going to take.

"Sorry." he said as he propped the door open. What if this was his daughter. He would be giving her a cold shoulder. But then again he was General of the Japanese Army. He had no time for this. He stepped out of the vehicle shutting the door behind him. "We can talk later." he said. He turned around and walked away.

Kia couldn't believe he just left her the way he had. This had been important to her, and he simply hadn't cared. She knew he was busy, so she had to put it down to that. But it still hurt her to think he couldn't be bothered to talk to her about it.
"I'm sorry you're too busy to talk to me about something so important" she said slightly sour, she would have used her diva antics to make him talk, but now, she simply didn't have the energy.
"But we do have to talk about this" she shouted through the open window. "If not today, then another day and soon" she prompted.
