TJ was messing about in her bedroom reading magazines and listening to some music, doing the typical average teenager stuff. She'd not long finished her stint on the ABC News channel she had for music, videos and movies. She had heard her cousin Michael was coming to visit for the weekend and she was so happy about that. TJ's cousins were considerably older than her, but she didn't care, she loved them all, and they all cared about her and loved her and more importantly, they call protected her. What wasn't to love about her older cousins?
Most of her cousins were all men too, apart from Debbie, Brendan's sister, but she seldom saw her, because she was always so busy with her florist shop and Brendan was always so busy at the newspaper. Still she was excited about the thought of Michael spending the weekend. The soon as she heard the sound of a motorbike revving outside, she looked out the window and she saw him.
Immediately she jumped up off her bed, throwing her magazine down and turning off her music and running down the stairs and opening the door wide, before throwing herself into his arms. Knowing that he would probably spin her around off her feet, because most of her older cousins were like that.
"Michael, so good to see ya again" she shouted, half in natural Canadian accent and half in the Southern accent she'd picked up from spending too much time with her Southern speaking family. "Ya so gotta take me fer a spin on that" she said, as she got up out of his arms and made her way into the house, leaving the door open for him to walk in and close behind him. She made her way in the living room and sat down on the sofa, excited, waiting to hear all his news.

Michael Faraday didn't have to wait long for his cousin to answer the door. He thought that he would have to wait a long time. However, he was dead wrong. Which was a good thing. He hated to wait for people. He would look like an idiot if no one was home and no one had left him a voice mail to inform him that they weren't gonna be home when he arrived. Nevertheless, he heard the door being unlocked. Someone indeed was home.
Michael smiled as the door opened. He saw one of his favorite cousins come out of the woodwork and placed his arms around her. He couldn’t keep himself from smiling. He was just glad to see his cousin. He had missed spending time with his cousin. He spun her around for a moment before placing her on the ground gently again. He said as he walked behind her into the house. He closed the door behind him as he followed her to the living room.
“Ya really want me to?” He asked as he gave a slight chuckle at his cousin TJ. He placed his bags on the floor of the living room and flopped down on a recliner. “I think I might take ya on the motorcycle if it is okay with Aunt Evie and Uncle Jim” He said as he leaned back in the recliner. “So how is my cousin doing, how is tha’ intern program treating ya!?” He asked in a curious voice. He wanted to know if they were treating her well.
He would get angry if they were messing with his cousin. He hated if people especially where he worked would even think about doing that to his little cousin. She was just an innocent girl and she didn’t deserve to be treated like most of the people he knew that got treated poorly at work, but it was only because some of those people were blooming idiots or didn’t understand anything.

TJ couldn't help but grin from ear to ear as Michael picked her up and spun her around in his hug, she loved when he did that, it just made her feel so special. All her cousin's were that good bit older than her and she loved it. TJ was more or less the baby of the whole family. She loved it that way too.
"Yeah, I really want ya to" TJ said with a grin, unable to keep the enthusiasm out of her voice, going for a spin on that bike would be like a dream come true to TJ, especially being able to hold onto one of her favourite cousins.
"Am sure mom and dad will be fine with it, cause I'll be with ya an' yer one of the safest bikers they know" TJ said grinning, but she knew they would have to ask first, because her dad Josh would go mental if she went on it without telling him first. Michael then asked her how her job was going at ABC News, well so far she'd only done one stint, but they had asked her back so that was good.
"Ain't really done much with it yet, but am sure loving it, am gonna go back again soon, and they're treating me just fine Michael" she replied, alright so they might have had a bit of a go at her, but it was her first day and she wasn't really paying attention properly to the job at hand.
"Did ya like the video I showed of Claire Petrelli or somebody whose her look alike?" TJ asked grinning, because she had been pretty proud of that snippet.

Michael watched her baby cousin grin ear to ear. He loved his cousins – they were all one tight nit family and it just felt good to be in a tight nit family. It was a different experience unlike some of the families that he knew. He was glad that at least this family was functional and not dysfunctional. It just felt nice to have a functional family and he was grateful that he could be in one of them.
He smiled at his cousin. She was very enthusiastic about wanting to go on the bike and he would gladly take her for a spin on it if her parents allowed. He didn’t want to get in trouble from his Aunt and Uncle. He respected his Aunt and Uncle. So it was only best to ask him. He nodded at TJ as she agreed that it would be best if they asked her parents. “Glad ya see it ma way” He said with a smile. “Besides we don’t want anyone gettin’ hurt now do we?” He asked, he knew that his cousin would give him the right answer.
Michael asked his cousin on how her internship with ABC was going. He hoped it was going rather well. It just had to go well. TJ was an amazing teenager and she had potential. He nodded at his cousin when she spoke about it. “Well, best of luck, TJ” He said with a smile “And I’m glad they’re treatin’ ya well that is always a good sign, don’t want them messin’ with my cousin” He said with a smirk. She then brought up her video for her first day. “That was amazing, TJ” He said with a smile.

Of course TJ was buttering up her cousin Michael by telling him that her mom and dad knew he was one of the safest bikers they knew. Well it was true, but she was still buttering him up, no getting out of it. She just wanted a go on that bike so much. Still she wouldn't push it, she wasn't like that. Instead she just kept grinning at her big cousin.
"Course I see it yer way, an' I sure don' want anyone gettin' hurt either" TJ replied with a grin again, picking up on her cousin's accent right away. You would think TJ had accent mimicry instead of power absorbing. TJ's accent would always be mixed though, having been more or less raised in Canada and then moving to Nevada to be with her Texan cousins, they all had that fantastic Southern lilt to their voice which TJ picked up in a flash.
"Thanks Michael" TJ said referring to her job at the ABC News Channel, "I've not done much because I'm just an intern, but they said they'll call me in when am needed and that's good enough fer me" TJ said with another smile, it was impossible not to smile around Michael, it was impossible not to smile around any of her cousins. She smiled when he complimented her on her video snippet of the girl who looked like Claire Petrelli, unless it actually was her, probably they would never find out. "Anyway can't wait to do it again some day" she added, she loved the News Station and having her own show was amazing. Nobody else was getting a shot at it, it was just for TJ, so she hoped they would call her in again soon.
[ooc: In reality its nothing to do with them calling her in, its cuz I can't get caught up enough to make some more pwnsome snippets - I will soon though LOL]

Michael had a feeling that she was buttering up to him. To be quite honest he really didn’t care. He knew that she was capable of doing that. She was after all a teenager and the baby of her family. The baby and the elder siblings always got the most attention and the middle child didn’t get enough attention. Sadly, Michael was the middle child – of a big family and he really didn’t mind being the middle child. His family loved him equally and that basically all that mattered to him.
He smiled shaking his head with agreement. “Glad ya see it my way, and getting’ hurt won’t hurt ma, but ya know how it can be” He said sighing as he was referring to his ability. His ability indeed was unique. He could heal himself and he could also use bone to make claw. It was a unique ability as if he was a real Wolverine. His cousins (Greg, TJ, and Brendan) they all seemed to have abilities affiliated with the X-Men. It was kind of awkward, but yet cool at the same time.
He smiled at his cousin. He liked that she was enjoying her job. It was always a good sign. He just nodded and listen to her speak about the job. “Well, that is always good, sometimes ya aint needed other times yer needed” He said referring to the job in which sometimes the interns were needed and sometimes they weren’t actually needed. “I’m sure ya’ll will make somethin’ interestin’ ya’ll always tend to do somethin’ rather interestin.’” He said with a big smile on his face. “So ya’ll do anything exciting?” He asked referring to his Aunt and Uncle. “And how is ‘ld Greggo doin’ I hear he is back in the States fer a while”
[[Mind ya: Michael is from North Carolina xD]]

TJ just grinned at Michael, "Yeah I know it don' really matter if ya get hurt, cause ya can heal an' all" she replied, but still, it was weird watching her cousin get cut and see it healing over. Oh it was cool he could heal, but watching it happen it was well weird and made her shudder at the thought. I mean come on, what's so enjoyable about watching somebody's bone move back into place after seeing it broken and protruding through skin? It was just weird.
"It's cool yeah, I mean it's not like I hafta work all the time, so I get the best of both worlds really, ya know, have a job which is cool, but still plenty of fun fer me" TJ said with a grin, damn she was sure speaking in a Southern accent more than ever in Michael's company, it was well weird. Maybe she'd end up speaking like that all the time and everybody would think she was a Southerner too. It made her giggle slightly at the thought.
"Am sure I will find somethin' interestin', got movies, music and DVD news to share, jus' when they next call me in, it'll be fun" she replied with a smile. She was really glad Michael got her the job at the ABC News Station, she just hoped she wouldn't annoy the producer again like the last time. In fact in many ways she felt she was lucky she was still there.
"We're all fine, although a few days ago we were almost in an accident, this really handsome guy saved us, he's well cute" TJ said referring to the day they were almost killed with that truck which was out of control. That was a scary moment, but she made a new friend out of it, even if TJ would love it to be more than friends. But friends was good enough for her.
"An' Greg, he's fine, spendin' time with his lover Dean, man is he handsome, Greg's so damn lucky, it's kinda cute actually" TJ said referring to her brother and his gay relationship. She hadn't been bothered when she found out, who gave a damn, he's human and he was still her brother. You loved who you loved and that was that, no point in getting upset over it. Thats what TJ thought at least.

“Yeah, I can heal and all” Michael said shaking his head. It was weird indeed to heal and be able to walk away from stuff. It was kind of creepy, but then call at the same time. He was always fascinated with his ability and others. He just found them so interesting. You know on how people’s abilities could react. His brother, Walter had the ability to communicate with technology. His whole family expect TJ's sister Cassidy had an ability.
“Ya’ll always have to look on the bright side of thing ya know?” He said with a smile. He looked at his cousin’s chessy grin. She always had the most interesting facial expressions besides his own god damn brother: Walter. Michael loved his accent also, but sometimes it was a burden on him and he only talked like this when in accompany of family. Hell, his own god damn brother: Walter spoke regular and not in a Southern accent. Though it was funny to see Radek try and master the Southern accent.
Michael nodded as his cousin spoke about her internship and what she was going to do next with her internship. “Course, ya will find somethin’ good and interin’ people are always interestin’ in hearing what opinions and points of view people have on the outside world” He said with a smile assuring her that she would find something good. People always wanted to hear the news and people’s opinions.
He then raised an eyebrow when his cousin mention something about her parents and her getting into an accident – well, almost. Uncle Joshua seemed not to mention that he wondered why they didn’t mention that. He just looked at his cousin shaking his head. “Well, glad ya’ll are alright” He said with a weak smile. It felt odd not knowing about the accident. Oh well, some people were out of loop more than others it would seem.
He stayed clear of the topic about the boy. To be honest, he didn’t want to start a fight. He knew girls had crush on people – however, he didn’t want to break the news that the boy would probably never see her again. The world was big and everything seemed to be a disappointment. He listened to his cousin talk about how Greg was doing. “That’s good to hear, glad Greg and Dean are happy” He said with a grin. “Shame he plays a straight guy on television” He said referring to his cousin’s acting career.

TJ just laughed when Michael repeated her sentence. She really was picking up the Southern accent in a big way, it was god damned freaky. She blamed Brendan and Debbie for it, they were the biggest Southern talking cousins she had. She saw enough of Brendan for it to rub off on her. Of course it didn't help when Michael picked up on the accent too, so when TJ was speaking to Michael, the Southerner came out of her just as much as it did if she was in Brendan's company.
"Course ya do, it would be a sad world if ya couldn' look on the bright side, I mean I'd rather be happy like this, than think bad all the time and be miserable, I mean if I did that, Brendan wouldn't call me Smiley" TJ said with a massive grin, she loved Brendan's nickname for her. He had once told her, if he hadn't been blessed with a younger sister that TJ would have been his Princess, but as it happened, Brendan did have a younger sister and she got called that.
TJ smiled and nodded her head as Michael agreed that she'd find something good for the show and that interns were always interesting. She really couldn't wait to give off another report about something. She just wished she got called in again soon. Mind you now she had Stephen to occupy her time with, it didn't matter how often she got called in.
"Yeah, we were really lucky Stephen was there to be honest, don't know what would have happened eh?" TJ said reverting back to her Canadian accent a little this time. She was surprised that Michael didn't seem to know about the accident, she thought her dad Joshua might have said something, but obviously not.
"Yeah, Greg and Dean, they're like loves young dream" TJ said teasing slightly, and then she laughed when Michael said it was a pity he played a straight guy on the show he was in. "Yeah, I bet he'd love to kiss all the smexey guys on that show!" TJ couldn't help but tease, but she loved her brother dearly and his boyfriend was such a sweetie. Yeah that's right, he was a sweetie, he was most definitely the feminine one out of the relationship for all he was very manly in so many ways.

He repeated TJ’s sentence. He just smiled at her as she laughed at him. He knew that she was getting the Southern accent done – very well. She had hung out with the people that were the biggest of the Southern accent in the family. Hell, the parents – the old farts rarely used the Southern accent. Well, it was just his parents and Uncle Joshua. It would seem to him. He just smiled at his cousin and thought about what next to talk about.
He nodded at his cousin as she spoke about a sad world. “Well, some nations aren’t free like us” He decided to point out. It was kind of obvious – the United States was the land of free and they could do whatever they wanted. However, sometimes they seem obnoxious – the United States in promoting the Land of the Free bullshit. Some of the world didn’t like them, but the world would just have to get over that.
He nodded at his cousin with a smile. He then nodded again as his cousin talked about the guy named Stephen. He just didn’t know what to say. To be honest, he was lost for words. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to talk about this guy, but he just hadn’t met the guy and just couldn’t figure out what to say about the guy. All he did was smile. It was the least he could do or it would seem in his eyes.
Michael just chuckled a bit at TJ when she spoke about Greg and Dean. “They are thirty, silly” He said with a smile. He was grinning from ear to ear. “I’m sure he would love too, you know?” He said agreeing with his cousin. “I think it’s a bit funny, that Walter is also on that show” He said referring to his brother with a grin. He then smiled, “So got any boyfriends?” He asked shaking his head, not sure what else to say.

TJ nodded her head, "Yeah, I guess you're right, not everywhere is as free as us." She agreed, but it saddened TJ to think that there were countries out there who couldn't be as free willed as they were. Maybe that was one of the reasons why TJ was always such a happy young woman.
"I know they're thirty" TJ said with a roll of the eyes, "But it doesn't stop them acting and looking like loves young dream, to me anyway" she continued with a laugh. "Oh, I know he would want to kiss them all, who wouldn't? Heck I would love to kiss them all, well if I weren't related to some of them." TJ said and blushed a little, following it through with a laugh.
"It is funny that Walter is on the show as well, just how many of the family members are on that show anyway?" TJ asked in a teasing voice. Truth was it was only two from what she remembered, Greg and Walter, but she knew Greg's boyfriend worked on the show even though he wasn't an actual actor.
TJ felt herself blush when Michael asked if she had any boyfriends. The truth was she didn't know if she had a boyfriend or not. She sure liked Stephen, the guy who had helped them, but whether she could actually admit that he was her boyfriend or not, she couldn't really say. Instead, she just sort of shrugged her shoulders a little, "Maybe, maybe not, I'm not sure."
[ooc Yeah I think it might be - you can can if after my post is you like, just let me know]
