[/b] He text her and a few moment later entered the restaurant and was about to ask the hostess where Chloe Davis was when he saw her sitting in the waiting area. He went up to her and kissed her on the cheek. “Sorry, I’m late” He said as he looked down at her. “Your beautiful” He said complimenting on her dress attire. [/ul]

Chloe was going on a date with Evan. The sweet, adorable, often crazy Evan she met on the set of the show she starred in Stargate. Something about him had attracted Chloe to him from the day she started filming on the show and a friendship soon blossomed followed by a relationship. She was pretty certain she loved him now, but so far hadn't actually uttered the words, and up to this point, wasn't sure she would. At least, not until he said them first anyway.
The show was on a current hiatus which Chloe loved, not that she didn't enjoy working on the show, of course she did, but she just enjoyed having a few weeks where she could do nothing but relax or go on holiday if she wanted to. But tonight, she was going out to dinner with Evan Anders and she was looking forward to it. She had on a strappy satin floral dress, with her hair in a loose top knot with wispy curls hanging down either side, and a white shawl type scarf across her shoulders.
Of course, never one for being late, Chloe was already there waiting for Evan to arrive when she received a text message on her cell phone. It was from Evan to say that he was on his way. She immediately text him back without even having to touch her phone, saying it was fine, and she would see him soon.
It wasn't much longer however before he arrived, and he gave her a kiss on the cheek apologising for being late. She put her hand on his arm and squeezed it gently, "It's really alright, you're here now, that's all that matters." Then he complimented her on her dress attire, which made her blush slightly, but she also grinned, "Why thank you, you're looking rather dashing yourself kind sir." She replied back with a grin. "Shall we?" She asked as she held her arm out to him, waiting for him to take it. She loved spending time with him and could only hope and pray this date would be as lovely as all their others.

He had to kiss her on the cheek to apologize for being late. It was the only way he could think of. He was trying to be polite and that was all that would matter to him. He wasn’t going to fuck up his first ever date with Chloe. He wasn’t. He will not mess this date up. Those thoughts echoed through his mind. He wasn’t going to mess this opportunity up.
Evan then was squeezed on the arm gently by Chloe. He just smiled back at her. She was really gorgeous tonight and he was lucky to go on this date with her. He smiled again. He was basically lost for words. He really wasn’t never lost for words. It was just something that was totally new to him. It actually seemed scary. However, he really didn’t care. No he didn’t care. Nope he didn’t.
To be honest, Evan was nervous at this particular moment and time. It was rare for him to be nervous. However, he was going to slowly get over it. It was just one of those rare moments. Indeed a rare moment. He nodded at Chloe as she suggested that they should go. He locked his arm in with hers and began to walk. “Ready, darling”
{agrh. i fail. i said that they did go on dates and yet maybe this could be their first date lmao)

{{That's alright, although it makes my first post look a bit off, but never mind, could still have been blossoming all along and this is now technically their first date then}}
Chloe was really looking forward to this date with Evan, and even though he had been a little late, she hadn't worried because she knew he would have been there. It wasn't like Evan to just change his mind about something. And if anything at all had happened to stop him from turning up he would have called to say and Chloe would still have understood.
However, he was here, and that was all that mattered, she couldn't wait to see what this date was going to have in store for them. She smiled and felt her skin tingle slightly as he locked his arm with hers. She looked up at him, "I am so ready Evan sweetie." She replied, finding it extremely difficult to keep her eyes off of him. He was just so handsome and he was so sweet to her.
She continued to walk with him and as she did so, she decided to ask a question about their date, even if he wouldn't tell her. She just felt like making general conversation really. "So, Evan Anders, what do you have planned for the evening, or is it all secret?" She asked and then laughed a little at her question.

{{Exactly}}
Evan really didn’t want to be late. However, in all honesty he forgot about this date and didn’t want to admit it. He didn’t want Chloe to get the impression of him like that. It was just something that he couldn’t risk and he wasn’t going admit his failure to that. Sure he should be honest with her. Hell, he always had a crush on her. However, he just couldn’t admit a failure not right now. He would tell her in time he figured.
“Alright” He said with a smile. He was just glad that this was happening and he wasn’t going to be nervous. He was going to try and be calm. However, he was a hard individual to even do that. Yes, he was emotionally sane. But when it came to dates he was completely clueless. He wondered if he should have asked for some advice. Dates usually with him ended up in disaster and he was going to make sure that it didn’t happen.
The two of them walked together as they were getting escorted to their seat at this restaurant. He just simply smiled at her and he was glad that she decided to start the conversation. He was getting nervous and it showed alright and he was hoping that she didn’t get a bad impression on him for being so nervous. “To be honest, I really was thinking of a walk on the beach or just stroll around town, it is such a beautiful night tonight” He admitted with a smile.

Chloe smiled at Evan when he said 'alright' after she told him she was ready to go for their date.Chloe knew Evan well enough to know he could be the nervous type, so she was hoping that she would have a calming influence on him. She also knew that due to his nerves he would probably not be the first to strike up a conversation which was why Chloe decided to talk first.
Chloe couldn't stop smiling at Evan as she waited on him to say what he had planned for the evening after their dinner. What he said sounded like a good idea. It was indeed a beautiful night and Chloe couldn't think of anything better to do than to go for a walk along the beach or into town afterward.
"Well Evan, I think that sounds like a wonderful idea." Chloe said warmly with a bright smile. "The idea of a walk along the beach sounds really romantic." She added, and then wondered if that word would make Evan feel nervous, she hoped it wouldn't. She really tried her best to make him calm, but sometimes she wondered if that was even possible with the likes of Evan. Still, it was what she liked about him so much and she found it quite endearing.
Chloe had been looking through the menu, and then she decided to have the chicken tagliatelle. She then looked at Evan and smiled. "Well I've made up my mind what I would like, how about yourself?" She asked, wondering what he was going to have.

Evan hated being nervous. However that was just one of his human flaws that he had and Chloe knew it. It took him quite a while to ask her out and yet here they were finally on a date. He wasn’t going to mess this date up. No he wasn’t he was going to be good at this date.
He was glad that Chloe decided to talk first. For all his was worth. He couldn’t even strike up a simple conversation and he wanted to kick himself in the arse for that. He always was talkative. However when it came to woman. He simple was a lost cause. Wasn’t all men when that was the cause?
Evan glanced at Chloe as she stroke up the conversation. She liked his idea and he was glad for that. Usually no one liked his ideas. He had a reputation for that it would seem in his book. He just smiled brightly. “You like that idea?” He asked in a curious tone as he blushed a little. “So a walk on the beach will be our after dinner excursion” He said with a bright smile.
He began to glance at the menu. He wondered what he would have for dinner. He was really hungry and glanced up at her as she said that she knew what she was going to have and he began to wonder what to have himself. He smiled and simply replied, “Capellini Pomodoro” It was his favorite pasta besides spaghetti and that is what he was going to have.

"Yes, I love that idea." Chloe confirmed as she saw Evan blush slightly. That just made Chloe love him all the more. Yes, that's right, she did love him, she had for some time now, she just hadn't actually said it to him, because this was their first date. Evan was a little nervous around her, she could tell, and that in itself was another reason why she hadn't mentioned the L word to him, and it was also the reason why she probably wouldn't mention it, until he had said it first. That way she could be sure of not running him out of her life before they even started anything.
"Well that certainly sounds wonderful Evan, and I can't wait." Chloe said softly giving him another bright and reassuring smile. Going for a walk along the beach would give them a chance to have a proper talk, and possibly get to know one another even more than they already did.
Chloe smiled when Evan said what he wanted, "Nice, I'm going to have the Chicken Tagliatelle." Just as she said that the waiter came toward them and bowed slightly and with a smile he then began to speak.
"Sir, Madam, Good Evening, are you ready to order?"
Chloe looked up and smiled, "Yes, I shall the Chicken Tagliatelle please." Chloe watched as the waiter wrote down her order and then he looked at Evan to take down his order from him.

Evan smiled when Chloe had confirmed that she loved his idea. It was first and he was glad for that. Indeed he was. He turned red slightly and didn’t know what would happen. He was going to enjoy this dinner. He was going to enjoy it no matter what. He finally decided to speak. “Well, I’m glad you love that idea” He said with a smile and a wink. He was very comfortable around her.
He chuckled softly when she save him a bright and assuring smile. Going on for a walk on the beach was the only thing he could think of at this particular moment and time. He was nervous. However it would seem that he was getting over that now. Was that good? Or was that bad?
He loved Italian food. Funny thing was he was Italian however his last name wasn’t an Italian name. Though he was descended from Italy. Milan to be exact. He smiled when she said what she was going to have. “Hmm,” he said “Eccellente” he remarked. He had just said excellent in Italian.
The waiter then came towards them and began to speak to them. The waiter asked if they were ready to order and Chloe spoke first saying that they were indeed ready to order. Chloe then ordered what she wanted and then it was his turn to order.
“I will have the Capellini Pomodoro, please” He said with a smile as he decided to order a bottle of wine also. “We would also like a bottle of Bera Dolcetto d'Alba please” He added as the waiter wrote down what he wanted and the bottle of wine. “Any thing else?” The waiter asked as Evan looked over at Chloe waiting for a confirmation. He didn’t want anything else.

When Evan smiled and winked at her Chloe felt herself blush a little, even if she was completely comfortable in Evan's company, any small gesture like that got her worked up so much that she would blush. In fact, in many ways Chloe felt like she was a love sick teenager around Evan and yet she was far from being a teenager.
Chloe felt so comfortable around Evan, she couldn't actually wait until she could confirm to everybody that Evan Anders was officially her boyfriend. Just thinking about it made her feel so good and made her smile. She could only hope that Evan would always feel comfortable around her.
When Evan said excellent in Italian, Chloe just smiled all the more, it was obvious what the word was, and it was obvious to Chloe he had indeed said it in Italian. "Speaking in Italian to me now Evan?" She asked, although she wasn't big on the language herself. She couldn't help but then say, "So, tell me, how do you say, 'I'm with the most wonderful handsome man' in Italian?" She asked, keeping her smile on her face and not losing eye contact for one second.
After Chloe had ordered, she waited for Evan to order, she smiled, feeling really impressed when Evan ordered a bottle of wine also. The waiter then asked if they would wish anything else. Evan looked at her as if waiting for her to respond, "No thank you, that would be lovely." She replied, she was pretty sure with the wine and the meal and Evan's company she wouldn't need anything else. This night and date was going to be perfect.

Evan was very comfortable around Chloe. He looked into her beautiful eyes and noticed that when he had winked at her that she had blushed a little. He just smiled and just couldn’t take his eyes off of Chloe he was really enjoying being with Chloe. He was just glad to be on a date perhaps they could be boyfriend and girlfriend.
He began to wonder okay fantasize about having Chloe as his girl. It was just something that he was thinking. He really didn’t expect himself to do this not on a first date. It just seemed a bit off. He was on his own little mind and needed to get back to reality. He came back to reality and just smiled as he continued to stare at Chloe.
He had said excellent in Italian and he wasn’t trying to show off. Dear god he wasn’t trying to show off his language skills. Okay maybe he was. He just smiled and nodded when she that he was speaking in Italian to her. “Yeah” He said as his face turned bright red. He looked down at the table and then back up when she asked him to say, ‘I’m with the most wonderful handsome man.’ He smirked and began to speak it, “Io sono con il la maggior parte meraviglioso attraente uomo.”
Evan just figured that if you were at an Italian restaurant that you needed to have wine. The Italians always had wine with their food and he was going to do that here. It was just customary in his opinion. He then asked her if she wanted anything else and she simply decline. He nodded and turned back to the waiter. “Then I think we are done ordering” He said as the waiter nodded and told them that he would bring the wine and some bread for them. “Thank you” Evan said as he looked at Chloe as the waiter left. “So how are you?” He asked trying to make conversation.

Once again there was a small silence between them, but again it didn't feel awkward. For some reason the silence felt natural, and Chloe had no idea why it felt natural, but she figured it gave her a chance to be with her thoughts, and they were thoughts she liked, a lot. Evan was a wonderful man, he was handsome, and he made her smile. She felt like a princess in his company and she would be so proud to call him her boyfriend. She didn't care if she was thinking like this on their first date, she knew how she felt, and she'd felt like this about Evan Anders for quite some time now.
Chloe noticed Evan's face go red as he confirmed he had been speaking in Italian to her. "Don't blush Evan, I wasn't teasing, I liked it." She replied, and then waited to hear him say what she had asked him to say in Italian. He then rhymed it off seconds later. "Sounds wonderful, I wish I could speak the language myself." Chloe said and smiled, "And that's true, what I asked you to say in Italian." She added, as she then bit down on her bottom lip a little.
Not that Chloe was a nervous person, but sometimes when she was admitting her feelings for someone, she did that little gesture for some reason. It was like a natural reaction and she couldn't stop it. Chloe just kept looking at Evan and smiling as he told the wait that they were done ordering. Then when the waiter left with their order he asked how she was.
"Well, I'm with this wonderfully handsome man, in a wonderfully gorgeous restaurant and about to eat wonderfully good food, with a romantic walk on the beach to look forward to, I think I'm doing very well thank you." She said and winked a little at him with a warm smile. "How about yourself?" She asked, turning his own question back on him.

He hoped that Chloe didn’t mind the small silence. He was lost for words and really didn’t know how to react. It was better to be silent. He always find being silent would be romantic. Though it was just him. It just had to be him and he hoped that Chloe didn’t think that he was an insane person. Or what not. She could and he really didn’t want her to think that.
He then blushed because he had to confirm that he was speaking Italian to Chloe. He smiled when she informed him that she wasn’t teasing and that she liked him speaking it. “Thanks” He replied in a sweet tone. He then went on to say what she had asked him to say in Italian. It took him a while but he managed to say it. He nodded and smiled again – this time actually not blushing. “I could teach you one day” He offered not sure if she would take his offer, but he would teach her. “Oh it is?” He asked a bit dumbfounded.
He hated acting dumbfounded. It was just him. He seriously needed to figure out what the hell was wrong with him. He never. He never felt dumbfounded expect when he was on dates and perhaps that was just his reaction. He wasn’t good with women and barely had dates with them, though this time it was different and it was going to be a new him. This was a new stepping stone for Evan Anders. He was going to be the non-nervous person. He just had to figure out how to get out of this shell of his.
The waiter had left and it was just the two of them and he asked her how she was doing. It was only trying to make conversation. “And I’m with the most beautiful women in this restaurant” He said with a big grin on his face. It was true “And I can’t wait to go on a walk on the beach with her” He replied again with a grin on his face. He chuckled as she winked at him and asked him the same question. How he was doing? “I’m doing great” He said with a smile. “Just can’t wait till after dinner that is all,” he added with a wink as the waiter came with the wine and poured them each a glass and leaving the wind on the table. Evan took the glass that was in front of him and smiled, “A toast to our relationship and too another good season for the show” He said as he lifted the glass in the air waiting for Chloe to tap his glass with hers.

Chloe smiled when Evan said he could teach her to speak Italian. She couldn't think of anything she'd like more, than for Evan to sit and teach her how to speak Italian. "That would be great Evan, I'd like that." Chloe replied, and smiled at him again, and then when she had told him that it was true, what she had got him to say in Italian, and he replied with 'oh, it is' in a rather dumbfounded way, Chloe just smiled all the more. "Yes, it is!" She confirmed with another smile.
After the waiter had left and Evan had asked how she was, and she had replied and then asked him the same question, she beamed at his answer. She actually blushed a little bit as well though, she couldn't wait to go on a walk on the beach with Evan later. "Well, I can't wait to go for a walk on the beach with you." Chloe replied giving him another winning smile. She had then asked how he was, she smiled at his reply.
"That's good, and you're not the only one who can't wait till after dinner." She replied and smiled as the waiter came back with the wine and poured them a glass before leaving the bottle on the table. She watched as Evan lifted up his glass and made a toast to them and another good season of the show. Chloe lifted her glass and tapped it against Evan's, "To us and to another good season of the show." She said and winked at him. This was turning out to be a very good evening and Chloe was enjoying herself, and she knew she couldn't wait to do another evening like this again with Evan.

He was speechless, usually women didn’t take well on his offers and yet here he was getting a confirmation from his date that she would love for him to teach her Italian and that just made his night and he was worried that he was going to be able to mess this night up and yet it seemed as if it was going very smoothly and he wanted it to stay that way. “Well great,” he said with a big smile and then a few moments later looked at her as if he was dumbfounded. “So it is” He confirmed with a smile.
The two were exchanging a quiet interesting conversation and Evan was enjoying it very much. It wasn’t every day that he enjoyed a conversation. Though he had to admit that it was just him it was his blasted personality and it sometime got the best of him and he hated that. He hated that indeed. Though that was just a part of life which kind of sucked. He just smiled not wanting to say anything more his big smile which looked as if he was one of those things from that Tim Burton movie, ‘The Nightmare before Christmas’ in which his smile was all the way up to his ears it would seem.
“Oh really,” he bursting out finally feeling comfortable about being around this women that he had an enormous crush on. Then he did some fancy work that he didn’t feel like to explain at this particular moment and time (with the wine and stuff). Then the two of them toasted one another and he smiled when she tapped his glass. “Exactly,” he said as his face turned red he was enjoying this moment as if it was the rest of time and he didn’t want it to end. The next thing he knew their salads came and smiled at her and began to eat his salad that was placed in front of him.
