Fox laughed. "That's okay. You took me by surprise too, but you know. I like surprises." Fox had honestly not been expecting what Jeremy had done, just leaned over in the midst of their conversation and kissed him. It was awesome, but definitely not expected. But, hey, at least it had broken down that barrier that had been there, the barrier that was causing Jeremy to be uncertain of himself.
"A musical...a musical...It's like Rent!" Fox exclaimed finally. "Well, apart from everyone dying of AIDS. But the music! The music in Rent is fantastic!" He let go of Jeremy's hand and jumped up on a bench. "To being an us, for once, instead of a them...La vie Bohéme!" he burst out singing at the top of his lungs.

Jeremy just smiled at Fox when he said that it was alright, and that he had taken him by surprise too. Well yeah, when your friend just suddenly kisses you out of the blue then sure it's bound to take you by surprise. "I like surprises too but, uhm... glad you liked that one then." Jeremy was going to say that the kiss wasn't a surprise he had expected to give, but decided against it.
Jeremy had to laugh at how confidant and happy Fox seemed to be since he had kissed him, strange how things work out, he thought his friend would have been shocked at what he had done, but instead he was happy. Jeremy had to admit that despite his earlier worry he was happy too, and he didn't seem to be struggling so much with his words now and he figured a lot of that was to do with just being around Fox. The nerves were gone and it was almost as if he was a completely different person.
"So, we're like Rent!?" Jeremy asked, and tried to think what musical Fox was referring to, and then figured since the said musical was referring to the two of them it had to be a musical about gay people. Then Fox went into the rest of the explanation and he knew his assumption had been right.
"Maybe you'll have to take me to see that." Jeremy said, because although he had heard of it, he hadn't seen it, and then Fox jumped up on a bench and began singing. Jeremy wasn't quite sure where to look at first, but being around Fox just made him feel so comfortable that he actually began to laugh. In fact Jeremy then began to applaud. "Very good. Very good indeed." He exclaimed happily.

"Yes!" Fox yelled. "We're like Rent!" He could tell that he was getting into one of his bouncing-off-the-walls moods, but it had been a while since he had really had the opportunity to let off steam and he just let himself go. "It's an amazingly fabulous musical about a bunch of starving artists in New York in the 80's and the story's based on some opera that I don't remember the name of and it's awesome!"
Fox jumped off the bench after he finished his impromptu park musical moment, laughing as he noticed several bystanders watching him with interest, amused looks on their faces. A few of them clapped, as did Jeremy, and Fox bowed dramatically to them before taking Jeremy's hand again. "I heartily agree," he said. "We really should go see it." He paused. "I'm not sure if the Broadway run is still going, though. We'll have to check that out."

Jeremy couldn't help but grin when Fox agreed that yes they were like Rent! Fox was always happy anyway, but seeing him this happy and knowing that he was partly the cause of it, made Jeremy smile all the more. Then Fox went on to explain the musical in greater detail and Jeremy had to admit to himself it did sound like a great story.
"It does sound really good Fox, I mean, really good." Jeremy replied, and now he knew more than ever before he wanted to go and see it. And now Jeremy couldn't think of anybody he'd rather go and see it with than Fox himself.
So when Fox agreed in a very bright voice that he agreed they should go see it together, Jeremy grinned. "Great, we'd have a brilliant time and you know it." He replied, amazed this his earlier stammering of words seemed to be gone. It was like Fox gave him this extra confidence or something. "Well, we should check it out soon then Fox, just think, going to see Rent, could be like our first official..." Now he started to stammer a little again, as he realised he was about to say the word date. He blushed, swallowed and then continued, "First official date!" He finished with a grin.

"It is a really great story," Fox said enthusiastically. "The music's great, the story's great, the dancing is great..." He paused, grinning sheepishly. "Adam Pascal is fabulous!" He finished, laughing slightly. "He plays one of the main characters and he's quite good-looking, I must say."
Fox watched, slightly amused, as Jeremy blushed a little as he suggested that going to go see Rent could be their first official date! "That sounds like an excellent idea, Mr. Summers," Fox said, taking Jeremy's tie and pulling him towards him again. "It's a date."
[OOC: I think this thread can be finished now. XD]

{ooc I'll do my finishing post and wait for it --- FOXEMY RULES!!}
Jeremy couldn't do anything but laugh as Fox went on excitedly about the musical Rent. Then when he said that Adam Pascal is fabulous and one of the main characters oh and rather good looking too. To which Jeremy slapped Fox playfully on the arm, "I thought I was your special one?" He asked, shocked again, that he seemed to be getting more and more confidant around Fox, but he laughed after saying what he said.
When Fox agreed that going to see Rent would be their first official date, Jeremy grinned again, and then Fox was pulling him close to him by his tie. He said it was an excellent idea, Jeremy was quite close to Fox by that point. "I'm glad you think it's an excellent idea." He said and then after Fox said the words 'it's a date' Jeremy leaned in and kissed Fox, as if he was sealing the deal.
{ooc: finished xD Time to move these relationships on a couple of months. lol}
