Angela had agreed to do an interview for The Chronicle Newspaper. She had no idea what the interview was going to be about, but she had been contacted a few times for statements when Claire and Rebekah had gone missing, and of course when she and Ryan had opened the Youth Centers. She wondered if this would have something to do with Rebekah, were they wanting to find out more information about who had kidnapped her?
Then again, maybe it was something to do with these power drugs Angela had heard about. That was through The Chronicle, she had been very angry to find out about those drugs. It was bad enough having power injections, but at least she knew they were stable, these drugs however, might not be. She was just finishing a telephone call when The Haitian came into her office t let her know that Daniel Rossi from The Chronicle had arrived. She nodded her head, smiled at him and thanked him.
She liked having The Haitian around, he was able to negate powers if necessary, and sometimes it was in this building when they captured dangerous villains. Of course he had protected her against Arthur once or twice and she had been in his debt since. She got up from her desk, and went through to the meeting room, where she expected Mr Rossi to be waiting for her. She gently opened the door, and walked in, going right to the man and holding her hand out.
"Daniel Rossi I assume?" She asked, and then sat down across from him. "Angela Petrelli, what exactly is it that you want to interview me about today?" She asked, giving him another smile. She did see the voice recorder and she knew it was an interview, but she wanted to know what he was wanting to interview her about.

Daniel didn’t know how long Angela would take for him to see her. He understood that she was a busy businesswomen and he was just grateful that she had agreed to do this interview. He hoped that she didn’t take up most of his day. He had to keep order at his newspaper. Though he did leave that Southern Hick in charge so it probably wouldn’t be out of hand if he spent the entire day interviewing Mrs. Petrelli.
He was going to interview Mrs. Petrelli about how the company was changing. He really thought that the readers of his paper should know the truth about it. It wasn’t everyday that something seemed to change. He remembered when the Company first started. It was just awkward. Then the Company started to become corrupt and he tried all his hardest to make sure that the Company was never made in his paper and it wasn’t. Though since the Company had changed – he figured why not publicized it to the world? It wouldn’t hurt. Well, not in his opinion.
As he was lost in his thoughts she came into the room. This was the first time in person that he had ever seen her. He had seen her a lot on the television and in the local newspapers. Though he probably saw her most on the television. She was after all the President’s mother and it was just awkward to be in the same room as the President’s mother, though he did interview the Vice President’s Biological Parents and that was just awkward enough. So this couldn’t be awkward as if it were.
“Yes, I’m Daniel Rossi” he said with a slight smile as Angela sat across from him. “Pleasure to finally met you in person, Mrs. Petrelli” he said with a slight nod as he as bit his lower lip when she asked why he wanted to interview her. “This may sound crazy but from some of my sources I hear you want to turn the Company around and I would like to do an interview about that and perhaps your opinion on the drug cartel that is going on”

As the man agreed that he was indeed Daniel Rossi, he gave her a slight smile, so Angela smiled back at him and nodded her head to acknowledge he had confirmed his name. Now, all she needed to know was what he wanted to interview her about. She certainly didn't mind giving some of her time to the newspaper, she had done it often in the past.
"Likewise, it's a pleasure to meet the Editor of our Newspaper for Evolved Humans." Angela replied, giving him another smile, an even warmer smile than she had given him before. She then sat back and listened to what he wanted to interview her about. So, she was right, it was about the drug thing, or at least part of it was about that. So, the way she was running The Company now had got leaked, well she certainly didn't mind talking about it. Maybe it was time it became publicly known among the Evolved Humans.
"That's fine Mr Rossi, or may I call you Daniel? And you can certainly call me Angela. And, can I say right now, I'm rather disappointed in this drug that is circulating. These abilities are something which shouldn't be messed around with, and from what I know, they can kill. It's absolutely ridiculous." She replied in a firm voice, shaking her head.
Alright, so yes she had injections for people to gain powers, injections for people's hunger if they had Intuitive Aptitude to be stopped, but they were 99% stable, unlike these drugs.
"So, please, anything you would like to know, I'll do my best to answer your questions as truthfully as possible." She said, as she sat back in her chair and began to relax, wondering just what kind of questions would be coming her way.

“Yes it has been my brainchild for a very long time,” he said with a slight smile as he referred to the Chronicle paper. He made it because he was bored one day and just decided that journalism would be a good aspect to bring to people just like himself and others together through things that were going on within the world of evolved humans. It was almost like the Magical World was real expect it wasn’t this wasn’t Harry Potter.
She then spoke as he could call her Angela and that she asked him if she could call him Daniel. “Daniel is fine, Angela” he said with a smile as he started to write down her opinion about the drug that as circulating. It was terrible to even admit that now science could mess with things that shouldn’t be messed with and that everyone was like playing god or something. Dear god he was acting like Adam now. That bastard.
“It is very ridiculous” he said sighing, “But it isn’t like anything the world has ever seen before right?” he asked in a curious tone, “We seen the Shanti Virus, we seen injections given to normal humans…” he trailed off as he wondered if he shouldn’t have said those. “Please excuse my rudeness, I have sources who told me those that I just listed, they are very reliable sources and I’m sure you trust them also” he said in a bickering tone, hoping he wasn’t boring her out with his comments.
Okay, so the first part of the interview wasn’t going well. So he decided that perhaps it was time to ask about the Company. “So what made you want to be in charge of the Company – or should I just refer to it as Primatech?” he asked in a curious tone wondering if she would answer the questions that he was going to throw at her. He was just doing his job and she would do hers by answering or refusing to answer the questions that were going to come at her.

Angela just nodded her head and gave him another smile as he spoke of the newspaper being his brainchild. He must be very proud of his achievements she thought, as it was certainly a very reliable and trustworthy newspaper for the world of Evolved Humans, which was why Angela Petrelli did not object to being interviewed.
When he said it was fine to call him Daniel, and said her own name Angela, she gave him another warm smile. "Very well, thank you, Daniel." She saw him write down what she said initially with regards to the drug that was circulating. It really had got her back up. She was going to get as many of her agents onto it as possible, see if they couldn't take down whoever was distributing it.
She raised her eyebrow slightly as he spoke of the Shanti Virus and the injections which were given to normal humans, but also commented that they drugs were like nothing seen before. She was about to respond to him, when he apologised for being rude and spoke of sources. "Oh no, you're quite alright Daniel. You're very much right, there has been the Shanti Virus, which we managed to stop being more wide spread, and yes there are injections to give normal people abilities, but they are almost one hundred percent stable and they've never actually been given to a human unless they've specifically requested it, but more often than not, they've been to give an Evolved Human back an ability they have lost." Angela explained and took in a deep breath, realising she had just said all of that without a break.
"You can call it what you like Daniel, The Company, is what people call it because it was seen as such a bad thing in the past, Primatech is simply a cover name, but I decided to become in charge because Bob Bishop was ruining it and giving us a bad name. Needless to say he is no longer in this world, and so I stepped in." Angela explained and sighed gently, giving him another smile. She sat forward then, "May I get you something to drink Daniel? I would rather like a coffee myself." She stood up and waited for a response from Daniel.

He was very proud of his little paper and he was glad that it had become a reliable source in the world of Evolved Humans. Even if the paper was old like him. It was something that he liked to treasure and it was just one of those things that people tended to rely on at times. And he was glad that Angela when approve of being interview.
“My pleasure, Angela” he said with a bright smile as he looked over the notes that he was writing. He was just doing his job to keep the public informed. It was the only way to keep their community informed without having publishing it one of regular human papers.
He thought that once he had spoken of the Virus and the injections that she was going to hang him or something. People didn’t know that he knew most of these things. Hell, he had a track record he was around a very long time – after he had absorbed Adam Monroe’s ability it was just awkward to even be sitting in this room not aging.
He then raised an eyebrow when she mentioned that he was right. He was impressed that his sources were right. However when she spoke of the injections he didn’t want to make an argument, but it came out anyway, “But the Triplets didn’t ask for it neither did Nathan, or some of the Osborne children and I know that for a fact I was here when we made the injections I worked with Nicholas and Zimmerman to prefect the formula” he said finally blowing his cover. He really didn't care. He never told anyone this information.
He prayed that she wouldn’t get angry at him for admitting all those years ago that he was part of that formula experiment. Most of the people he knew were involved with the experiment they may not had got an injection, but they were involved in making the injection. He then raised an eyebrow at her last comment in the sentence, “So they give people back their abilities, so like if someone like say old Arthur took their ability away, that they could get it back?” he asked in a curious tone, hoping that Angela didn’t get mind at him for mentioning Arthur.
Daniel then asked what he should call the Company. “Well, I guess the Company is fine than” he said with a slight nod as he wrote down why she had taken over the Company and that Bishop was ruining the Company. He could actually believe it. Bob was just like that, crazy. Then she informed him that he wasn’t in the world anymore. “Aww…yes, I remember that his brain was extricated, Sylar did that” he said as he then realized that she sat forward and offered him a drink, “Coffee would be wonderful” he said with a smile.

Angela wondered if he would argue about the injection thing, after all he did seem to be up on his knowledge. Not that it bothered Angela much, he was the owner and editor or The Chronicle Newspaper after all. She sighed gently, frowned a little, as she lifted up her hand and rubbed at her temples slightly, before continuing.
"You're right Daniel, but that was done way before I changed the way The Company should run, the triplets were an experiment, which I admit now, was very much wrong. As for the Osborne children, it was at the hands of their father from what I believe. Nathan. Well, I admit now that it was probably wrong, but Peter was born with his ability naturally, and we didn't want Nathan being different." Angela tried to explain, she rubbed at her temples again. Then sighed, "I'm not a bad person Daniel, I just sometimes do things underhand." She added, she knew that she wasn't a saint, but she was no where near the sinner her husband was either.
When he let slip he was part of the experiments from all those years ago, she just gave him a weak smile, nothing would surprise her these days. She herself was a founder of The Company.
Angela winced a little when Daniel mentioned Arthur's name, only because the mention of it these days, made her skin crawl, he had been such a bad, bad man. "To a degree, yes. It might not give them back their exact an ability, but certainly a form of it. Like Peter, Arthur took his ability away from him, but he was able to inject himself and he got a form of his previous ability. Rather than being able to hold plenty of abilities like before, he can now only hold one at a time." Angela explained, she certainly hoped that not everything she was saying would be used. She was hoping some of this conversation would be off record, people didn't need to know about the way The Company used to be, they needed to know how it was now.
"Very well." Angela responded when he said he would call it The Company. He then spoke of how Bob Bishop was no longer in this world. "Yes, that's exactly what happened, poor Elle, but to be honest, The Company is running better without him." Angela replied, giving Daniel a weak smile. She hated admitting that, but it was the truth.
"Not a problem." Angela replied, as she went to make them both a coffee, and then brought both mugs over on a tray, along with some biscuits and some milk and sugar, not knowing whether Daniel took any of that in his coffee. She laid the tray down on the desk, and handed him a mug. "There you go Daniel, help yourself to anything you require from the tray." She then put some sugar and milk into her own coffee, and lifted up one of the ginger biscuits and took a bite and a sip of her coffee, before smiling at Daniel.
"I'm ready to continue when you are."

Okay, so Daniel was arguging about the injections and that wasn't what he was here for. He was here to tell people about the new face of the Company and that it wasn't corrupt anymore. He wanted to kick himself in the ass for even wanting to mention these stuff from the old days, but he figured that it was safe for him to mention that because it was just between to the two of them. It wasn't going to be published in the newspaper. He wasn't like that way.
"Indeed it was, it was way before we had a spike in abilities - like we do now," he said remembering that there were only like a few hundred people with abilities and now it was over a million people. Things had changed over the course of the years and he should stop talking about the past then again he had seen it all. "Nick only did those because the death of his wife and only found out that two of his children were born with abilities, so you could say that Nick wanted his children to not be different -- like the point you bring about with Nathan" he said with an assuring smile.
He nodded at her when she said that she wasn't a bad person. "And you are entitled to that, people aren't all saints, I mean hell I did some things I regretted in the past like it's my fault that a certain German Dictator went to war with Europe" he said shaking his head. Yes, it was his fault and he regretted it but it was just part of his long life and he didn't care. Not many people knew that and he wasn't about to inform people of his life long story.
Daniel watched her winced a little as he mentioned Arthur's name. He was just making a comparsion and he hated to compare. He just raised an eyebrow as she spoke of Arthur taking Peter's ability away. He just couldn't believe that, but than again to a degree could understand that. Arthur was an evil menace and he was just glad that he was gone. "My neice" he said using his figures quoting the niece part, "Has the same ability as Arthur and it isn't to that degree in which she can take a person's ability and let's hope it stays that way" he said with a weak smile, hating to compare things but it was just the only way.
"Yeah, poor Pikachu" he said in a rather sarcastic voice. He had nicknames for half of the Company Agents and Elle was Pikachu because of her ability to control electrity. It was quiet a nice ability shame he never got to absorb that one. He then nodded, "Glad that it is running better without him" he said with a smile, it was good that Bob had died. It seemed that the Company was a nightmare to people and now it wasn't.
He smiled at her as she went and made them both coffee. She then came back with a tray with all the stuff that people would like to have with their coffee. However, Daniel was different he drank his coffee black, but just needed sugar. He took the sugar as she handed him the mug, "Thank you" he said with a smile and began to make his coffee as he took one of the ginger biscuits also and took a sip of his coffee. "Very well" he said as he placed down his coffee, "What is the new Company's direction?" He asked in a curious tone.
{Dear god, 620 lmao}

Yes it was true, people like she and Daniel were in limited numbers years ago, and now there were thousands, no, millions of them out there, and not everybody using them for the greater good. Which was kind of where she came in with The Company. She helped those who wanted it, to control their ability, and villains were captured and locked up, for their own good. Angela nodded her head slowly, giving him an understanding smile about Nick giving his children the injections.
"Yes, it's definitely understandable, just like what we did with Nathan. I can see why a parent would do that, having been in that situation myself. However, I like to think that's where the changes have come to The Company." She replied, meaning that the injections would no longer be given to children through their parents. If any child of an Evolved Human wanted to be like their parent, then and only then would they be given the injection.
"Yes, well I think it's safe to admit, Daniel, that we've all made mistakes in our life at some point, some we cannot fix unfortunately, and others we can make amends for." Angela replied with regards to her being rather underhand about some of her decision making. Anybody who said they didn't have a sinner or devilish side to them, were lying their backsides off in Angela's eyes, because everybody had that inner devil, it was just whether you allowed it to surface or not.
"I see, not that I know who your niece is of course, but yes, I have to admit, I hope that it doesn't get that way either. It's a terrible ability, being able to take someone's ability for good. How does her ability work then? If you don't mind me asking, I'm rather curious." Angela said, feeling funny now for asking him a question when he was supposed to be interviewing her.
Angela just gave him a weak smile when he seemed a little sarcastic over Elle. Mind you, Elle wasn't Angela's favourite person either, she was too stubborn, but she was a good agent, providing she did things the right way. So, she ignored that comment he made. "You're not the only one who is glad that it's running better without him." Angela agreed, giving him a brighter smile. It felt good to be in charge of The Company, finally. It had taken her long enough to get her hands on it. And, now she was up against Pinehearst, the company Arthur used to be in charge of. Last she had heard Gabriel was messing around with it, or at least that's what she had heard at any rate.
"You're welcome." She said when he thanked her for the coffee and then he agreed to continue with the interview. "Well as I briefly mentioned before, I would like very much for these injections to be something someone wants to take voluntary, also, I like to think we can help people with powerful abilities, adapt and control them better, and we also like to keep villains locked up. Just like they would be in a normal prison, only a villain like ours, they need to be in solitary confinement, I am sure you agree. Does that answer your question, would you think?" Angela said and gave him a warm smile, before she took a bite of her biscuit and another sip of her coffee.

“I was fortunate to have a daughter that was born with abilities, but she was born before all the injection situations that was way before her time” He said deciding that he would actually put his two cents in,” it was only natural since they were speaking about Nicholas. He just nodded at her when she said that it was understandable for what Nicholas did to his children. Though it was none of his business, then again he was mentioning it.
He waited to hear her opinion on his statement about that people had mistakes and they were proned to not making up their mistakes. It was just how life was and it was the hard thing to even thing about. Many people had mistakes that they wanted to regret. Though it was hard for them to even think about that and mention it kind of sucked. It was as if two hearts couldn't beat to the same beat, if that even make any sense. "Some people aren't prefect -- like people would like for us to admit" he said shaking his head.
He smiled when Angela agreed that she hoped that his niece's ability didn't get like Arthur's. Though he had a pretty good thought that she wouldn't end up like that. Dear god look at his grandson aka her father he had an awful ability and he wasn't all crazy like some people were with that ability. Angela then asked how her ability worked.
It seemed kind of awkward for her to be asking the questions, but he decided that it couldn't hurt a bit. "I'm not sure if you are a reader of comic books, but in series called the X-Men their is a character called Rogue and she has the same ability, however she can't take away the ability, she just borrows it from someone and that someone can still access it without having to lose it" He said hoping that Angela understood what he had just said.
Daniel was being very sarcastic over Elle and he didn't like Elle once so ever though he did feel kind of srroy for the poor child. She was raised to be an agent and now she was left with nothing. The only person that loved her was taken away by Sylar and it was just heartbreaking. Kind of like when he had to attend his daughter's funeral. It was kind of awkward to pretend to be her younger brother, but it was just something he had to do. He looked at her as she mentioned that she was glad that the Company was running better than without Bishop. Perhaps it was for the best. "One less thing to worry about" he said shaking his head.
He then thanked her for the coffee and he awaited her response for his question about the Company he then started to write down what she was saying and making side notes not to mention the injections. He wondered if he should ask her if he should put the injections in the article. However that would be his next question. "I think that very well answers my question" he said with a smile as he placed his pen down and took another sip of his coffee. "Now my two final questions, should the readers who aren't familiar with the Company be aware of the injections?" He asked before pausing a bit placing his coffee on the table, "And what is your take on Sylar controlling Pinehearst?"

When Daniel spoke of his daughter and how she was thankfully born with abilities before all the injection stuff, she just gave him an understanding smile. "Yes, I often rather wish Nathan had been born with abilities, he didn't take the news at all well, when he discovered about the injection." Angela said, sighing gently, remembering the moment. Nathan had refused to talk to her for days, weeks even, although they were on better terms with each other now. Then again, both Nathan and Peter were often disappointed in her past, underhand ways. However, you can't change the past, you can only make changes in the present for the future.
Angela nodded her head, with a warm smile, when Daniel mentioned that some people weren't perfect. Angela had always believed that nobody was perfect. Everybody had their faults, or bad sides, and if they denied it, then they were lying to themselves. "Yes, well, I've always said, nobody is perfect."
Angela hadn't really meant to ask him about his niece's ability, but she had just been curious as to how it worked, so she was glad he didn't seem to mind telling her. "I have heard of the X-Men as it happens, through my grandsons. So, I believe I understand how it works. So, hopefully for her sake, it always remains that way." She replied giving Daniel yet another warm smile. She was certainly enjoying this interview and her time with Daniel Rossi. Angela was quite often a lonely woman, not that she would be bold as to ask Daniel on a date, oh no, after all, why would he want to be seen with an old woman such as herself?
"Oh, definitely one less thing to worry about." Angela agreed, the idea of having Bob Bishop still running The Company the way he saw fit, made Angela's blood boil a little. She was glad to have it under her control, so it could be run the way she wanted it to be run.
She was glad what she had said, seemed to answer his question, and so she just smiled at him then. Straight after, Daniel said he had two final questions for her. So she sat back again, and listened to him. Before answering, she finished her biscuit and took another couple of sips of her coffee. "Actually, given that there are these dangerous, unstable drugs out there, which we have no control over, telling them about the injections might not be such a bad idea. They are for more stable. I have no objections to that at all." Angela said as she stopped, took a couple of sips of her coffee before answering the final question.
"I had hoped that Pinehearst would have been a thing of the past in Arthur's demise, but obviously I am wrong. I am very much disappointed in Sylar, but what can I do about it? But I can guarantee you, he will not have it easy, The Company will see to that."

"I see" he said when she mentioned that she would have rather have Nathan be born with abilties. However it wasn't the case. Nathan was born normal and that kind of sucked. Shame for it to be the President and have to have an injection for abilities. Sometimes life sucks. "Now my other niece she has no abilities, yet our family disowned her" he said with a slight pause, "we are terrible people" he shook his head thinking about Cassidy, shame that she had be the oddball of the family, but she was the only one.
He just smiled as it would seem that Angela was agreeing with him about that nobody is prefect. It was a true statement and yet people thought that because they were prefect. However many people had the flaws god didn't put people on this Earth to be prefect. He put people on here for a reason. A reason indeed. Whatever the reason was, he didn't care. He was going to live his life to the fullest.
Daniel was just being poliet when Angela asked about TJ's ability. He was just trying to explain that the ability was different from others, but one day it would probably be able to do the things that Arthur used to do and he wished that it would never happen, she was innocent. Though than again he was still worried about his grandson aka TJ's father. "Yes, I agree" he said with a warm smile.
He took the final sips of his coffee and waited patiently for Angela's answer on the two final questions that he had asked about. He was curious to hear answers about the two. He had placed his coffee on the table as she agreed to his terms about placing the injections in the newspaper. It would probably be for the best, though he hoped that they didn't get outraged at him. Oh well. "Very well, I will put them in the paper"
He nodded, "Well, let's hope that he doesn't have it easy" he said shaking his head. "Even if he is family am I right?" Daniel asked about Sylar being family to her.
"Agreed" he said with another smile. When agreed that it was one less thing to thing to worry about know that Bishop had left the world. And it was good that Arthur was out of this world also.

Angela shook her head when Daniel spoke of the niece with no abilities and how the family disowned her because of it. She did think that was a little off, but it wasn't her place to say anything. True, she agreed to Nathan having an ability injected into him because he was born without one, but she'd never have disowned him. "That's very sad for the girl, what about her mother? Has she disowned her daughter?" Angela couldn't help but ask. How sad that girls life must be.
She gave Daniel a smile when he said he would put the injections into the paper. It seemed the best thing to happen. She would rather someone who for what ever reason wanted an ability, came to her and got one which was almost one hundred percent reliable, than use a drug which could kill them. "I look forward to reading the article." Angela replied. She read The Chronicle every day, it was a good way to keep up with news in the Evolved Humans world. Even if sometimes it was filled with doom and gloom, but that was part of being in their world.
She nodded her head slowly when Daniel said he hoped that Sylar wouldn't have it easy at Pinehearst, even if he was family and he questioned if he was right on that remark. She again nodded her head slowly, "Yes, he is family, my nephew sadly, but as I say, that will not stop me from making sure he has a tough time."
She then finished her coffee, and gave him another smile, then she wondered if she should ask him to go to the show with her, she had tickets for. Granted it was normally the guy who asked the woman, but she was the one with the tickets, and she thought, what harm could it do?
"Daniel, I've tickets to see Swan Lake on ice, I wondered if you would like to accompany me?" She asked, giving him a smile, they seemed to get on well enough with the interview, and Angela was sure Daniel would be great company.
{ooc - Angela is brave - she asked him out hahaha}

"Yes she did, the child was with another man, see she was raped when her husband was overseas and kept the child because she always wanted a girl, so the father agreed to keeping her, but they disowned her when she decided that she would move off to Europe and marry this boy she met, so they just disowned her because of that and possibly for the lack of advancement" replied Daniel, he couldn't believe that he would be talking down about his great-granddaughter, but he guessed it had to come to get.
He figured that it would be best for the people to know about the injections and putting them in the paper were for the best. He also hoped that the injections didn't fall into the wrong hands and for damn certain he hoped that Sylar didn't think about putting an add in the paper, but that was just something that they would have to deal with, though Sylar had been not on a killing spree which was kind of odd, "And I look forward to get some feedback on the article"
"Well, he is an insane person, glad my brother hasn't gone off the deep end, he had the same ability as Sylar, but his works a little bit different" he remarked "And I know it won't stop you from making sure he has a tough time, family is just so complicated at times," Daniel said with a slight sigh it was true and family was only complicated at times.
The interview was finished and Daniel was going to do what he normally did, go back to work and work on this article making sure it was published tomorrow. However for some reason he thought that he would ask her to dinner or something. However she bet him to it. He smiled, "Sure I would like to accompany you" he said with a smile.
{ooc: lmao, end?}
