June 28th 2009 Blair ran into the nearest building, seeing it was a library. She slowly walked inside, trying hard not to look conspicuous. She soon found some chairs further inside, and sat down on one, looking over the back. The paparazzi with the cameras, ran past the building, heading down the street. Blair let out a sigh of relief. That was a close one. She turned around and lent back into the chair. Blair knew that she shouldn't have been running like that, in case she fell over or something. She was only four months pregnant, but still. Blair thought back to the time in February, when they found out that they were actually going to have a baby blew both Sebastian and her away so much. They had been trying for a while now, and thought that they might need to see someone. But luckily their prayers were answered, and now they were going to have a baby. Blair looked back at the window, to see if the coast was clear, and it was. So she quickly got up, and headed back out the door of the library. Then Blair headed in the opposite direction, hoping to leave the people and the cameras behind.

Zeke had gone back home to Australia. His parents had immigrated to the States from Australia when he was only twenty three, but a few months ago, his father had to retire from work due to ill health, and his sister Katya had went back to Australia with her parents, so he was the only one left in the States. But he had his job as a Medium, and hadn't wanted to immigrate back. However, he had been missing his family since they had moved back home again, so he decided to take a holiday and he had been there for over a week already, spending as much time with his family as possible. Of course, Zeke hadn't got there alone, because everywhere he goes, or just about everywhere he goes, Carly follows him. Carly is a ghost child, she is about seven years old, and she latched onto Zeke. He looks to her as a surrogate daughter, but sometimes she can really ruin things for him, and sometimes people think he's crazy when they see him speak to himself. You see, Zeke has the ability to see and talk to the dead. Carly just really liked him, and never left his side. It's been like this for about two years now. So, sometimes Zeke gets annoyed when he's wanting to do something by himself, and other times, he enjoys the company, sad as that may seem. But he has to enjoy something with his time, while he hopefully gets to reunite with his love April. He was in the library, and of course Carly was there too and she was hassling him to read her a story. She gave him the book Charlotte's Web and demanded that he read it to her. He just gave her that look as if to say, I'm in a public place, do you want people to start thinking I'm mad? But she just gave him that stare. "Alright, alright." He said to her, and smiled, and opened the book and began to read from it. "Charlotte and Wilbur were alone. The families had gone to look for Fern. Templeton was asleep. Wilbur lay resting after the excitement and strain of the ceremony. His medal still hung from his neck; by looking out of the corner of his eye he could see it.
“Charlotte,” said Wilbur after awhile, “why are you so quiet?”
“I like to sit still,” she said. “I’ve always been rather quiet.”
“Yes, but you seem specially so today. Do you feel all right?”
“A little tired, perhaps. But I feel peaceful. Your success in the ring this morning was, to a small degree, my success. Your future is assured. You will live, secure and safe, Wilbur. Nothing can harm you now. These autumn days will shorten and grow cold. The leaves will shake loose from the trees and fall. Christmas will come, and the snows of winter. You will live to enjoy the beauty of the frozen world, for you mean a great deal to Zuckerman and he will not harm you, ever. Winter will pass, the days will lengthen, the ice will melt in the pasture pond. The song sparrow will return and sing, the frogs will awake, the warm wind will blow again. All these sights and sounds and smells will be yours to enjoy, Wilbur—this lovely world, these precious days…” It was at that point that he saw the blonde haired woman come running into the library and he was sure he recognised her, she was an actress. He stopped reading the book, much to the annoyance of Carly. He made his way over to her, "Are you alright? You're that actress, Blair Connors?" He said giving her a smile. Then Carly was tugging at his sleeve, he looked down at her, and gave her the look, telling her to stop. But she wouldn't. Then under his breath, but knowing fine well, the actress would hear him, he said, "I'll read some more of it soon, alright?" And then he looked back at Blair and gave her a smile as if he hadn't spoken to himself at all. {ooc - excerpt from Charlotte's Web - written by E.B. White, I do not own the rights to this material}

Before Blair made the mad dash outside of the library a male voice spoke to her. Turing around, she looked at him. "Yeah, I am alright. Just hiding. And yes, again, I am that actress, but you didn't see me, okay?"
With that, Blair looked back at the window, to see if the coast was clear, and it was. So she quickly got up, and headed back out the door of the library. Then Blair headed in the opposite direction, hoping to leave the people and the cameras behind. Blair thought that once she had officially moved to Australia, she would be somewhat left alone. Boy was she wrong. From day one, both her and Sebastian had been continually hounded by the paparazzi. It seemed it was just as bad here as it was in America.
Blair soon found herself at the end of the street, which looked onto a beach. It did look inviting, even if it was meant to be winter, but Blair didn't think it was that cold, as she had had colder in America. So she crossed the street, and headed down to the beach. Taking her shoes off, halfway down the ramp, Blair continued on. Feeling the sand, it felt nice and warm. She soon spotted a free spot on the beach. Blair walked over to it, and sat down. Shading her eyes, even thought she was wearing sunglasses now, she looked on at the water.

Zeke could only nod his head and just smile blankly at the actress when she said she was alright and that she was indeed that actress. He kind of felt silly now for the way he said that, and felt his face blushing slightly. He was talking to an actress for heavens sakes. Luckily she hadn't heard him talking to himself, which was a good sign. Well, okay, so he technically wasn't talking to himself, but to others, it would appear that way.
"Well, as long as you're alright, and of course, I wouldn't say anything, you just told me you're hiding, why would I run out of the library and say 'she's in here' for?" Zeke replied with a raised eyebrow and a smile on his face. However, she didn't stay in the library for long, soon she left. He shrugged his shoulders, oh well, he thought, that was a rather short conversation.
It was at that point Carly tugged at his sleeve again. He really wished she wouldn't do that at times. He looked down at her and smiled, "What?" He asked her, and was immediately met with a few gazes from people in the library staring at him. Oh damn, he thought, here we go. I'll have the people in the white coats arriving soon.
"Go after her silly." Carly's voice said, and Zeke wondered if he should, but he knew she was married, and the last he had heard she was also pregnant. It wasn't his place to go chasing after her. "She's married, and got a child on the way." He replied, and again he was met with stares. He turned to them, "What?! What is it?" They just raised their eyebrow and turned away from him, apart from one guy.
"You're talking to yourself, that's what."
Zeke rolled his eyes, "I see and talk to ghosts, alright? I have a seven year old girl talking to me." That just made the guy give out a low whistle and turn away from Zeke. Finally, he thought, maybe I'll get some peace. Then he heard Carly's voice again. "But before you go, I want you to get that book out for me, pleeeeeease?" She asked in a sweet way and staring up at him.
"Alright!" He said in a low voice, as he rolled his eyes again, but smiled at her, it didn't matter what kind of trouble she got him into, he had some sort of affection toward her. He went and got the book out of the library, and then left, looking to see if he could see where Blair had gone. He then saw her, and making sure nobody was following him, other than Carly of course, she was always following him, he made his way over to her, sitting down on the beach and hugged his knees, with the book in his hands.
He spoke quietly to her. "I'm really sorry, it's alright, nobody followed me, but I just love what you do, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to talk to you." He said, and gave her a smile and then he heard Carly's voice.
"And you want her autograph." She prompted, he turned to look at her, and mouthed, 'I don't want an autograph'. To which Carly replied, "But I do." And she grinned at him, he rolled his eyes again, and mouthed 'what the hell for? It's not like you can thank her.' She just grinned at him again, "But you can thank her." He hung his head down, god damn he thought.
"And, I would like your autograph, it's not for me, it's for my daughter actually." Zeke said, and smiled as best he could. She was going to think he was crazy, but then, she wouldn't be the first, and she definitely wouldn't be the last.

Thinking that she was alone with her thoughts, and had truly lost the paparazzi, Blair felt herself relax a bit. She wished that her husband, Sebastian, was there to enjoy this beautiful day with her. Even though it was meant to be winter, the breeze was far from freezing. Just as Blair began to get comfortable, just looking at the water, she soon heard a person sit beside her in the sand. Without even looking at the person, Blair flung her hand in the air, and just called out in a loud voice. "Don't you guys have anything better to do then follow me around?" Then she turned to face them, and was going to speak again, when she saw the face of the guy who had spoken to her in the library.
Blair was going to speak, when the guy spoke first. She looked at him, uninterested. Why do some people have to annoy her. It was bad enough that it happened every day she was out and about. But really, she felt less like talking, just wanting to be left alone. The guy apologised, and then told her that he loved what she did, and that he couldn't pass up the opportunity to talk to her. Then he smiled, which led to Blair kind of smile back. Feeling like she should be a bit more polite, Blair decided to calming talk to him. "Thank you for the kind words."
Blair was going to speak a bit more, when the guy turned his head away from her, which she thought was a bit weird. Maybe she was uninteresting, or just unattractive. Well she was beginning to show her baby belly more now, and this had indeed got the tongues wagging. She didn't care, she was happy that she was finally pregnant. After a few seconds, the guy's head hung down, and then he looked at Blair again, telling her that he would like to get her autograph for his daughter.
Blair wondered if it was for his daughter, if he did indeed have one. "Okay. I will do this for you." Blair smiled briefly, and then continued. "Do you have a piece of paper or something. I have a pen on me somewhere." Blair rummaged through her bag, and pulled out a black pen. If there was no paper, she wondered if he had anything else she could use. Then as she waited, Blair spotted the book he was holding. "I remember that book as a kid, though don't personally remember much about it. Is it for your daughter?"

Zeke knew he shouldn't have followed Blair, but Carly had been annoying him about it, and so for a peaceful life he had done just that. He really did admire the actress, however, when she threw her hand up and began shouting, Zeke jumped slightly. He hadn't been expecting it, but at the same time, she had been hiding from the paparazzi, she probably thought he was one of them. Well, she did think he was one of them, what she said made that clear to understand.
He was going to say as much, but she had then turned to face him, so he just sort of smiled weakly and waved his hand a little and that's when he had apologised but told her he made sure nobody had followed him, and as he looked back to check again, the coast was still clear. He could tell she was irritated by him talking to her, and so he thought he had better not stay in her company too long. She did smile at him, slightly, so that was somewhat encouraging.
"You're welcome." He replied, as he looked out across at the water, thinking how lovely the scene looked, it was moments like this he realised he missed Australia and he missed April. If she was back in his life again, he wouldn't be here sitting talking to an actress who clearly just wanted him to stop bugging her. Then he heard Carly speak again. "You're missing her, aren't you?" She asked, he looked at her with sad eyes. Carly knew about April, and knew how much he loved her wanted her back in his life. It was probably one of the times that he was grateful for Carly being around. He just nodded his head, giving her a sad smile.
Thankfully Blair agreed to sign an autograph for him, even if her smile was brief. He smiled back at her brightly, "Thank you, thank you so much." Out the corner of his eye he saw Carly jump up and down and clap her hands together and laughing. He just rolled his eyes and shook his head a little. Blair then asked if he had any paper, that was a good point, did he?
"I might, hold on." He said, as he put his hand into his back pocket of his jeans, and pulled out his wallet, as he was looking through it, a photograph fell out. He was going to pick it up when Carly got there first. She looked at him, with a sad face. "That's her? She's so pretty, no wonder you're so sad."
Zeke sighed, and rolled his eyes again. Of course, to Blair the photo would look like it was just sitting in mid air, so he really hoped that she couldn't see it. So he mouthed to Carly, 'Yes, that's her and thank you.' He then reached across and grabbed the photo, making it look like he was catching it before the wind blew it away and he placed it back into his wallet. He didn't have any paper.
Blair then pointed out the book he was holding. She asked a question about it. "Yes, it's for my daughter, she loves the story, she gets me to read to her every night. I have no paper, and this book is actually from the library." He said and sighed gently again, especially when he saw the look on Carly's face. She was not happy, and a happy ghost wasn't a good thing.
"I want the autograph!" She screamed at him, as she stamped her foot. He opened his eyes wide, and mouthed to her 'Alright, calm down, damn it.' He looked at the book again, what did it matter, he could just give the library the money for the book. "You know what, just sign the book if that's alright, I'll give the library the cost of the book. She really wants your autograph, thanks." He said and smiled sweetly at her, and then under his breath, he said in Polish **"Mê¿czyŸni w' bialego coats sa bêdzie bowiem do przyjœæ do mnie."
**Translation: Men in fucking white coats are going to come for me.

Blair noticed the guy also looking out onto the water. It was a nice and peaceful sight. Just the waves crashing onto the shore was nice. Kids nearby laughing, made Blair smile a bit more. She wonder if this is what she would be doing a couple of years after the baby was born. Take him or her down to the beach, and build sandcastles, or run up and down on the sand. It was a nice image. The guy then thanked Blair for giving him an autograph. It was the least she could do for her being rude earlier. Maybe it was for his daughter. You never know these days who kids look up to, and apparently she was one celeb who she did. It was nice she was still appreciated by some, even though she might not be working as much now since she is pregnant. Then after she spoke about the book, she thought that maybe she could do some audio books. That wouldn't be too bad, as she didn't have to be in front of a camera, unless they do a video interview about her experience on doing the book. But that wouldn't be too bad. The guy spoke about the book, saying it was for his daughter. When he said that he had no paper, Blair shrugged. "Oh, well maybe we can find something else." Then the guy turned away from her again. What was his deal? Then he turned back to face Blair, replying, saying that she could use the book to sign, and that he would pay the library for the cost of the book. Blair kind of raised her eyes brows at that. "Well, okay. If you are sure. Then okay." Blair took the book off of him, and opened up the front cover. Resting the book on her bent knees, Blair scribbled out a little something for his daughter: Best Wishes Blair Watson Connors Blair closed the book, and handed it back to him. She remember what she put, putting her own last name and Sebastian's last name. Blair should have just put Connors, but loved her last name as well, so put both. Then remembered what she heard the guy say before she signed the book. "So what language was that you were speaking before? I normally can pick up accents, but never what is actually said. Didn't do well with taking languages when in school." Why was she sharing with this complete stranger, but she felt she needed to talk to someone.

Zeke couldn't believe that of all times not to have any paper on him, was when his ghost daughter wanted an autograph. Ghosts could have terrible tempers, and when they flared up, it could spell heaps of trouble for people. Blair had then said there would be something they could use. "I'm sure there will be." He replied, smiling at her, and of course that's when he decided to use the book, so Carly wouldn't throw one of her ghost tempers.
"Yes, I'm sure. Thank you so much." He said, as he gave her another bright smile, and then glanced to Carly who was now much more placated and was watching Blair write in the book smiling down at it. He too looked at what she wrote, and he grinned, they had an autograph by someone famous, it was just great. Even though he probably would never have dreamed of asking her for one if it hadn't been for Carly.
Blair then handed him the book, after she had finished signing it. "Thank you again." He said, as he sat with it on his knees again, but Carly who was rather excited about the prospect, grabbed the book from his knees. He turned and looked biting down his bottom lip with his top teeth, shaking his head. It was alright for him, he could see Carly holding it, but again, like the photograph, which Blair hadn't seemed to notice, the book would look like it was floating in the air by itself.
The next thing Carly was opening it, so she could see where Blair had signed it, and she touched it with her finger and then grinned again. "Thanks Blair." Even though she knew she wouldn't hear it. She could see that Zeke was getting into a panic, so after sighing, she handed him the book back and sat down on the sand next to him. He really hoped that Blair hadn't seen any of that, or he would have some explaining to do.
She then asked what language he had been speaking before. He wondered if she would have asked about it, so long as she didn't ask him to translate it. If she did, he might have to miss out a few things from the sentence. "It was Polish, I'm from mixed countries. My father is French and my mother is Polish. My name is Zeke Picard." He said, holding his hand out to her, because he realised that in all that time, he hadn't really introduced himself.

When Zeke thanked her for the autograph, Blair smiled, "You're Welcome. I hope your daughter likes it." She watched as the guy took the book off her, and put it on his knees. She then turned back to her bag, placing the pen back in her bag, tucking it in the side pocket, just in case she had to retrieve it again later. Just as she turned her head, she saw the guy putting the book quickly on the sand. Weird. Blair thought, didn't he just put it resting on his knees? She shook her head slightly.
Finally he answered her question about what language he was speaking. She listened to what it was, and then he told her that he was from a mixed background. "That would be interesting, having different backgrounds. I think sometimes English is enough to deal with, let alone speaking another language." Then he held is hand out for her to shake, as he told her his name. What the heck, why not take it. Blair took his hand. "Nice to meet you Zeke."
When she withdrew her hand, Blair looked down at her watch. She soon realised that she had been out in the sun a bit too long, especially since she was never really tanned. "Sorry to have to go, but I don't do well in the sun. I burn easily due to my skin." Slowly getting up off the sand, she turned to Zeke. "It was nice to meet you, and I hope that your daughter likes the autograph." With that, Blair smiled, and then headed up the same way she had come down to the beach earlier.

Zeke smiled when Blair said she hoped his daughter liked the autograph. Oh, she really didn't know the half of it, did she? He chuckled slightly, and then gave her a brighter smile than before. "Oh trust me, she loves it." Damn, he slipped up, he said it wrongly. He should have said she would love it, not she loves it. Now she was probably going to ask him about it. Hopefully she hadn't picked up on the slip up.
She didn't say anything about the photograph and luckily she didn't say anything about the book, so with a bit of luck, she wouldn't notice his slip up there either. If she did, well, he'd just have to tell her about his ability and hope she didn't think he was uber crazy. Zeke smiled at Blair as she said that it was interesting he was from different backgrounds. "Yeah, every time they said something to me in English, dad would say it in French and then mom would say it in Polish, so that's how I managed to learn all three languages and fluent in all of them." He explained, feeling quite proud of the fact he was trilingual.
He wasn't sure if she would take his hand or not, but luckily she did, which was nice. He had shaken the hand of an actress, it was like his own personal claim to fame. "Well, thank you and it's nice to meet you Blair, rather than just on the big screen or television." He meant it as well, he also hoped her pregnancy went well, but he didn't want to be so bold as to physically say that to her, in case it wasn't meant to be public knowledge yet.
Soon after, he caught Blair looking at her watch, and he figured that maybe he had taken up too much of her time already. It had certainly been nice of her to sit and talk with him that long and now he could say he had met Blair Connors, how cool was that? "That's alright Blair and I'm sorry I took up so much of your time. I know for a fact Carly will love the autograph." He said with a grin, making sure to say it in the right tense this time. "Lovely to meet you as well." He replied and then watched as she walked up the beach away from him and Carly.
He looked at Carly then, and picked up the book, "Come on, it's time we left. Think we've had enough fun for one day, don't you?" Zeke said and laughed, as he felt her tiny hand take his own and he made his way back to his parents house.
{ooc - assuming you were meaning to end this thread - but if not, it can carry on a bit more - I did give her something she may want to question. lol But I'll have Seb up and running for you hopefully this week some time.}
