Evie couldn't believe that she and Josh had been married for thirty five years. It seemed only yesterday she was walking down that aisle toward him. But it wasn't because since that day, she had three children, who were now almost all grown up apart from TJ, who was still very much the baby of the family, but even she would be eighteen soon enough. How they grow so fast and how time flies when you're having fun.
She and Josh were going to celebrate their anniversary at Hoover Dam, and Evie couldn't wait to spend some glorious time with her most handsome husband. She was proud of the fact they were still together and their marriage was still very much strong. It wasn't so common for marriages to last the pace these days, but they seemed to have beaten the odds.
She was looking forward to having some alone time with Josh, even though she loved her children, and only one of them was really living at home now, but even getting away from her hectic life as a judge, was a blessing. Josh was a little older than her, but she didn't care, he had been so handsome when she met him, she'd fallen in love with him almost immediately, and nothing had changed. Even now, she fell in love with him on a daily basis.
Soon the car was parked up and Josh was opening the door for Evie to step out, which she did. She immediately looked around at the scene, remembering their honeymoon all those years ago. "So, Mr Ford, have anything special in mind for this glorious day?" She asked him, as she pulled him to her, with her hands on the collar of his jacket and kissed him, not giving a damn about it being a public display of affection, anybody watching and didn't like it, could go to hell.

Joshua really couldn’t believe that Evie and him had even married that long. He swore that it was just yesterday that they had their wedding and they were taking one another’s hand in marriage. Though it seemed to be good to be true, but it was thirty-five years today. Today they had three beautiful children a son and two girls. Life was just seemed wonderful.
He just couldn’t wait to get on with the rest of the trip that he had planned. He was looking forward to this for a very long time. Sure they never had alone time at home for a while. He loved his youngest child but sometimes he just wanted to have that special time with his wife and he hadn’t got it in a while. But he wasn’t grumpy about it.
Life everyday was just wonderful with his wife. He had beaten all the odds because his friends told him that he wasn’t going to be this happy and yet here he was still strong and in love with the same women that he feel in love with all those years ago. It was just a miracle and all he wanted to do was rub it in his friend’s faces. This wasn’t Nicholas or his grandfather who he wanted to rub it into. It was some other people. Who shall be nameless?
He helped his wife out of the car and smirked as she pulled him towards her kissing her. He really didn’t care if people were watching what the hell they were doing. They weren’t actually doing it and they were just having a lovely time showing their affection for one another. It wasn’t harmless or was it?
“Hey get a room” shouted a sixteen year old.
Josh heard the kid but didn’t bother. He was just enjoying this special time. He then pushed away. And smirked, “We should uh, finish it later” he said with a wink as he held out his hand. “Let’s go see this wonderful damn dam” he said with a sarcastic joking tone.

Evie had a feeling that somebody would have said something about her kissing Josh in public the way she had, but she really didn't care. What was more funny about the person who had shouted to them to get a room, was it came from a teenager. The amount of teenagers she had seen her in court room because old people had been complaining about them fornicating in the alley ways was unbelievable and here they were being told off by a sixteen year old because she had kissed her husband.
Maybe it was unlike Evie, but she couldn't stop herself from shouting back, "Ah, get yourself a girlfriend." She then laughed, and nodded her head, when Josh said that they should finish it later. She winked at him. "I'll hold you to that Mr Ford." Finishing it later, wasn't all about just finishing the kiss, it was about so much more. Time to themselves, where they could let themselves go and not have to worry about TJ hearing anything which may embarrass her.
She smiled warmly at him, and took his hand, as she leaned in, nudging him slightly, "Yes, let us go and see this damn dam." She repeated the words he used and laughed a little, as she began to walk with Josh in the general direction of where the damn was. Alright, so watching or looking at a dam might not be the most interesting thing for some people, but it was what was beyond the dam which Evie was looking forward to.

Joshua couldn’t believe that a freaking teenager would tell him and his wife to get a room. It was just rude. He wasn’t going bother with it. It would most likely end in a punching match. And he didn’t need to do that. Nope he didn’t need too. He was just going to keep his cool and he was good at times with that. Though, ‘Cleaning This Gun’ by Rodney Atkins was his theme song. Okay his theme song for his daughter.
He then slapped himself when his wife shouted back. He didn’t even hold her back from shouting. He really didn’t care what she did. She was a judge and was control at times while he was just an Air Force guy. He chuckled at what she said, “And it best be not be our daughter” he said shaking his head. He couldn’t help, but say it. He smiled at her when she would hold them to having them finish the making out session later.
He was then nudged slight and he didn’t care. It was playful. “I just want a ShotGlass and get something for the kids then we will be on our way,” he said with a wink. He then grabbed her hand and headed to the gift shop. They got behind an old woman who was walking slowly and Josh had to mimic the lady. He was a kid at heart at times. Yet he never seemed to embarrass his kids.
{lmao, my dad so does the last part with an old lady lmao...we americans are odd}

{Mich we all do that with old people over here too lmao}
When Evie had shouted at the teen to get himself a girlfriend, she wondered if Josh might have said something to her, as she had a feeling Josh was trying to save a scene, but he didn't say anything. Well he did, but not to her. What he did say, made Evie laugh. Josh was so funny, she loved him completely. So when he had said, 'and it best not be our daughter' Evie turned to the teen again, "Yeah, cause she'd eat you for breakfast and then her boyfriend would kick your butt."
Yes, Evie was well and truly leaving the judge in the court room on this trip away, she was acting like a foolish teenager in love, but she really didn't care. Josh was older than her, but he had always looked and acted around her own age, and it was proved even more so when they made love.
When Josh said he just wanted to get a Shot Glass and something for the kids and then be on their way, she smiled at him, and blushed when he winked. After all the years they were together, she still blushed when he winked at her. "That's fine darling." She didn't mind at all, because however long they would be, they were going to be together and that's what made this trip so special.
When they fell behind an old woman who was sauntering along slowly, Josh began to mimic her, Evie slapped his arm playfully but she couldn't help but grin, that was just one of the many things he did which made her laugh and one of the many things she loved about him.
Just at the point Evie felt her ass being grabbed, and she immediately looked at Josh, had he just done that? Then she realised quickly, very quickly, that it wasn't his touch. She turned round, and this guy who was probably in his thirties was grinning at her. "Oi, you don't get to touch that, it's way more expensive than you can afford, got it?" She then turned to Josh with a frown.
"Are you going to let him away with that? He just grabbed my ass."
{thought I'd give Josh something to get worked up about hehe}

“Damn fucking straight she’d eat that kid for breakfast” he said with a slight chuckle “And her boyfriend would kick your ass probably so many times that you’ll have to have an ass replacement” Joshua said as he busted out laughing. It was just fucking hilarious at what the hell he had to say. Oh well sometimes he couldn’t help but humor himself.
He was glad that she liked his idea of just going to the gift shop and getting what the hell they come for and just be on their way. He was fucking starving and he wasn’t going to miss the moment to get food. Yes, all men had food on their mind. It was a habit that they had it was a shame that it was always on their mind like sex. Oh well, he was going to get some after the trip to the restaurant. He just had this feeling.
He then mimicked an old lady and he was slapped playfully. He had that kind of personality and he just didn’t say anything. He just wanted to get their gifts and then be on their way. Yes, he liked to do one thing and be on his way. It was just a thing of his he liked to do. Next thing he knew Evie was telling him that someone grabbed her ass.
Who the hell would do that in their right mind?
He glanced at the guy and frowned at the guy who touched his wife’s ass. “Hey son of a bitch, why you go touching my wives’ ass?” he asked as he narrowed his eyes at the man and just touched the top of his forehead reading the guys mind and telling him that he should get a girlfriend. The guy turned away. “Son of a bitch, I was gonna have him walk off the dam…” he said trailing off "but that would be rude of me"

As Josh joined Evie in telling the kid that their daughter would eat him for breakfast and probably get his ass kicked by TJ's boyfriend, she couldn't help but laugh along with him. They were being incredibly funny, but then they were like this all the time. They were such a happy, jokey couple, and Evie felt it was good to be that way. Every day was like an adventure and mystery with Joshua Ford. You never knew what you were going to get from him from one days end to the next.
Evie's stomach had began to rumble, so she couldn't wait for them to get what Josh wanted at the gift shop and then get on to getting something to eat. Then while they were in the line waiting someone had grabbed her ass. She had spoke back to them, but also asked Josh if he was going to let them away with it. She had been messing around by saying that to him, but she loved seeing him fight for her honour. So she smirked when he retaliated.
"Sorry, she's got a cute one, that's all. Didn't realise she was married." The guy said as he quickly got out of the shop and walked off in another direction. Evie just shook her head, but she put her arm around Josh's waist, and then laughed at what he said next.
"It might have been rude of you, but it's something I'd have paid to see." She laughed again, she really did love Joshua Ford with all her heart. After about another ten minutes they had got to the end of the line, and it was their turn. Maybe now they could get on their way to get something to eat, and what ever else he had on the agenda for the trip.

It was a very nice adventure and mystery with the likes of Joshua Ford. He was always the lovely one of the family meaning that he joked around so much that sometimes it was confusing for him to do shit. He was just glad that he was able to be that way both at work and at home with his family. Sure it was embarrassing to his family, but they kind of got over his eagerness and just learned that it was the normal around him.
Joshua just blinked at the guy who commented that his wife had a cute ass and that he didn’t notice that she was married. Oh for the love of god, how could people not realize that Evie wasn’t married? She had a big diamond ring. What the hell was wrong with people these days? He just couldn’t believe what people were thinking. He watched the man walk off as Evie pleased her around his waist. He was glad for her to do that or he would have done something terrible.
Yes it was terrible on what he was thinking sometimes his mind got the best of him and it was just a matter of time before he figured something would actually happen. Life was awkward, but it was just part of being what was happening. He calmed himself down and found what he was looking for before getting back in line and replying to his wife.
“Yeah and then this entire place would be on lockdown because some idiot feel into a dam” he said with a sarcastic tone. He went up to the cashier and paid for the things he got and then looked at Evie. “You ready?”

Evie couldn't quite believe the guy had said she had a cute ass and hadn't realised she was married. That's what the wedding finger was all about, if you were a genius you always checked a lady or man's wedding finger before making crass comments. She just shook her head again when she saw the look Josh gave the guy. That's when she had wrapped her arm around his waist in order to keep him calm, cause god knows what he may have done otherwise. He hated anybody messing around with her.
When Josh mentioned about the place being on lock down because someone had fallen into the dam if he had done what he had said he was thinking of doing, Evie could only smile and shrug. "Yeah, guess so, maybe just as well you didn't, or we might not have got out of here."
They soon reached the cashier and Josh paid for the things he had wanted to get and then asked if she was ready. She smiled at him, "Yeah, ready." She then wrapped her arm around his waist again and began to walk out of the shop.

It didn’t take a genius to figure out that his wife had a wedding ring on her left finger. It wasn’t fucking quantum physics. It was a real simple thing to look at and yet there were people that were idiots and Joshua could never understand this generation. It was just pure dumb luck in that kind of sense or something. It just had to be.
He was just glad that his wife was making him calm. Because he could have done something terribly stupid and not forgave himself about what could have happened. He could have killed the guy or make the guy walk into the dam. He really wasn’t a violent guy but sometimes it got the best of him and he couldn’t control it. Well he could have controlled it but sometimes he let his angry get the best of him that was just how he was.
He then went on to mention that the place could be on lockdown. He looked at his wife hoping that she didn’t want him to do that. It would have been rude, but then would people even notice? Of course they would it wasn’t rocket science. He smiled at his wife, “Exactly my point buttercup”
He smiled as his wife said that she was ready to go. He was glad to be going. The next part of their trip would be going to dinner or whatever. Then it would be for whatever Evie wanted to be. He placed his arm around her neck as the two of them walked to the car. He was certainly enjoying his time with his wife. They hadn’t had any time like this in quite a while and he was enjoying it.

Evie knew Josh's ability could get the better of him at times, which was why she did her best to keep him calm, even if seeing the guy walking into the dam would have been hilarious, having the place on lock down and not getting out wouldn't have been so hilarious.
When he spoke next, and used the word 'buttercup' she just looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "Using our son's pet name for his boyfriend Josh?" She couldn't help but chuckle after that. It was quite funny when you think about it, your husband liked the pet name his son gave to his lover.
"So, where to now Mr Ford?" This was after all, his planned trip, she had an idea where they were heading, and she knew how she wanted to end it, but she wanted to make sure, she was getting things in the right order. For all she knew, he might want dessert before the main meal. God, she had a terrible dirty mind for a judge at times. But then, with a husband looking like Josh did, was it any wonder?
{raah - sorry - country music is good for my muse on the most part, but there are just some characters I can't seem to rock out good posts and Evie's one of them. Sorry.}

Joshua’s ability could get the best of him at times and it was struggle to control it, but at last he had a loving wife to help him with the difficult ability he was born with. At least he wasn’t as crazy as some people that had the ability. He was perhaps one of the rare ones and he was glad to be that.
He really didn’t know he was using his son’s pet name for his boyfriend. He felt kind of stupid and just looked at Evie. He seriously couldn’t believe that he would even use that. That guy messing with his wife had made him distracted and wasn’t himself.
Yet he thought he was himself. He hated when people messed with his vibe and his mind got the best of him at times. So boring. So stupid. He sighed, “My bad, damn mind” he muttered as he looked down at the ground and then looked back up at Evangeline.
“Boulder City for our dinner then whatever you want to do” he said with a wink. He hoped she got his wink because he wanted to do it. Ha ha. He had a dirty mind, but didn’t men at his age have a dirty mind about just wanting to get laid after a nice dinner on their anniversary of getting married? He unlocked the car and opened the door to his wife.

Evie had thought it was funny and cute that Josh had used Greg's pet name for Dean on her, so maybe instead of teasing him about it, she should have just kept it to herself. But Josh was so good at teasing other people, she thought, why the hell not tease him back. She laughed a little then, placing her hand on his arm. "I'm teasing you Josh, well, I mean he does call Dean, buttercup, but I mean, I like it. I could tell Greg to choose another name for Dean." She was of course teasing about this, she'd never tell her son to pick a different pet name for Dean. He had a right to call Dean what ever he wanted to.
When Josh answered her question and told her they were going to Boulder City for dinner and then whatever she wanted to do, he winked at her after it. Well, she knew exactly what he was referring to with that ever so subtle, not, wink. She nudged into him then, "Hmm, I see, sounds good, I was just checking you see, because I didn't know if you maybe wanted dessert first." Now it was her turn to wink at him.
It would seem the pair of them were very much suited, especially when it came to matters of intimacy, and after thirty five years of marriage, it's probably just as well they're very much suited. Well, if they doing it in the right order, then she couldn't wait for the meal to be over with, so they could get straight to her personal dessert.
