Lucy smiled when Jameson thanked her, and commented that he had at least one girl who liked him for him and not his money or his name. Again, Lucy felt her heart reach out to him. It must be horrible to have girls chase after you just because they're interested in your money or name, than interested in you yourself. "Well, I'm very glad I met you today Jameson. And yes, I do like you, very much so in fact." Even though she had said it earlier in their conversation, she thought she would say it again, simply because he had thanked her.
Why did Lucy have to think those thoughts when she was handing over her email addresses to Jameson, she felt her face burning furiously. If he asked what she was blushing at, she'd have to lie, she couldn't tell him what she had been thinking. That would have just made her blush all the more. But she couldn't deny she was feeling attracted to him.
When Lucy had asked if the Friday was going to be a date, Jameson confirmed that it was indeed going to be a date, and Lucy smiled, and blushed. She was doing a lot of this blushing since meeting up with Jameson earlier. Not that Lucy was a man eater as such, but she had been around a few men in her time, and usually found it very easy to talk to them, but with Jameson, for some reason, she couldn't seem to stop herself from blushing.
Maybe it was because she was being herself, and honest with him, and he seemed to like that, and because she was actually feeling attracted to him, it was making her blush. She then watched as he went into his phone, and what she could only assume was mark down the date on a calendar on his phone so he wouldn't forget. Lucy then got out her phone and did the same thing, not that she would have forgotten. Jameson then asked her where she would like to go.
He mentioned about a great restaurant and a club next to it which he would recommend. Lucy nodded her head, "The restaurant and club after sounds like a very good idea, especially the club." She grinned at him then, club, meant partying, and Lucy was a bit of a party girl. She would just have to be careful of what she was drinking, because she wouldn't want to embarrass herself if she got too tipsy and made a fool of herself and put Jameson off her.
{ooc - I know we want to stagger our threads with the couples - but I think I'd like for us to rpg out their date. I have a feeling it could get funny. Maybe not rpg it right away if you want another couple to get a thread - but to keep it in mind for next time.}

Jameson smiled at her, when she said that she did like him very much so. Finally, he thought, someone who likes me for who I am, and not for the family name. He was feeling like he had missed his chance to find someone special, and settle down. But looked like fate had stepped in, and directed him onto the right path to meet this gorgeous woman. But there was so much more to Lucy than her looks. He hoped that she would so a lot more to him.
He didn't think that he could, or would, ask about why she was blushing so much. If she wanted to talk about it more, later, then he was fine with it. He hoped that whatever she was thinking, was something good, and not bad.
And then there she went again, blushing, when he confirmed that Friday night would in fact be a date. He couldn't personally wait for that night to come around. He wanted to continue to get to know Lucy, and how she ticked. He had seen a bit of her over their chance meeting, and now was liking her more and more. As Jameson put in the date on his phone, he noticed Lucy doing the same thing. Once the date was put in, he had asked her where she would like to go, and suggested the restaurant and club.
Jameson was glad that she agreed to that arrangement for the night. "I am just so used to giving the details without asking, as the girls I have dated just agree with whatever I tell them. But you are different, and I know that you are just not agreeing to keep my happy." He then put his phone in his pocket. "If all goes well, I will make sure that you get to pick where we go next time." Well, he hoped that there would be a next time. There would have to be, as he was already going with her on her holiday.
He thought about what she said, emphasising the club for Friday. "So you enjoy going clubbing? I have been to this one a few times, with different women, but somehow never really enjoy myself. They are just hanging off of me, and I never have any real fun." With that last comment, James looked down at his watch. "Oh. Sorry to have to leave you. But I should get back to the office. Dad will just blow his stack if he finds that I have gone for an extended coffee break. But really, I don't care."
Jameson waited for Lucy to say something, as he started to put his laptop away. He soon began to feel a bit excited, thinking that he was going to hopefully have some proper fun on Friday night.
{OOC - Mands, I don't mind. I think it is only right to play out the date. I think it will be fun. Um, but not sure when we can do that. I am sure that we will chat about it. lol}

{ooc - we probably would get to talk at some point - but as we're both usually always busy trying to concentrate on posting - we may forget. To be honest, I don't mind if you want to do the date off the back of this one. I'm hoping for some of the other threads of mine to end soon anyway. But it's up to you.}
Lucy was really going to have to get a check on her feelings, because she couldn't seem to stop blushing and it wasn't like her to be like that around men. She liked men, and usually she didn't blush like this, but Jameson was doing something to her, that no man had ever done before. Which was probably why she was blushing so much. She was quite excited about their pending date on the Friday now, it had been a while since she had been out to have fun and actually enjoy herself instead of just pretending she was enjoying herself.
Lucy gave Jameson a smile when he spoke about just giving details without asking, as the girls usually just agreed, but she was different. "Well, I appreciate you asking me, and no, I'm definitely not just agreeing to keep you happy, I am sure Friday will be a nice evening for both of us." Finally, a sentence she was able to say without blushing. When Jameson said that if all went well with their date, she could pick where they would go next time, she gave him a bright smile. "Well, I think the date will go very well, and to be honest, I wouldn't mind you making the choices all the time, but it's nice of you to suggest that."
It would be pretty stupid after all, if they didn't get on well seeing as he had just agreed to go on her ski holiday with her. Something else Lucy was looking forward to. Jameson then asked if she liked going to clubbing, speaking of the club he mentioned being a good one, but never usually enjoyed himself with the women he had been with. "I love going clubbing, dancing, drinking, you name it, and I guarantee, with me, you'll enjoy yourself." Damn, there went her mouth again. She looked away from him then, feeling her face go hotter than it ever did before.
Then she saw Jameson look at his watch and say that he should really get going. Not realising how time had went past them, she realised she had to get to the office herself, or the main boss would have a pink fit. "It's alright James, I should really get into the office myself, Daniel will kill me for being late." She put her own laptop away, and got her bag. "So, is this goodbye until Friday, or would you happen to be heading in the same direction as me?" She only asked, because she didn't want to appear rude by just walking off it turned out he would be more or less following her.

Jameson liked Lucy's answer, when he had spoken about giving details about dates to women. So she wasn't just agreeing about what he suggested, so that he was kept happy. "I am sure it will be." What else could James say. Maybe he should have said that he was looking forward to the date, or that he couldn't wait to get to know her more. Maybe he should say something, but then decided to not to say anything.
Then Lucy gave him a bright smile, after he said that she could pick where they went next time. He listened as she said that she thinks that the date will go very well, and she woulnd't mind him making the choices all the time, and that it was nice of him to suggested that. James smiled at her, "I am sure that you will have your own suggested of places to go, that maybe I have not heard of. It might just surprise me." James only knew of a few places, so wouldn't want to bore her with the same old places to go.
He had to smile cheakily, as Lucy commented about loving clubbing, dancing, drinking. And then said that with her you will enjoy yourself. "Well then. If that is a guarantee, I will have to make sure that you live up to your pre-date speech." He knew that they would have a good time. It did seem like that Lucy would in deed be a lot of fun to be with.
James was glad that he hadn't sounded like he was rushing away from her. He wouldn't want to do that, he was enjoying her company too much. It was just his father who would get annoyed. He listened to what she said, nodding. He knew what bosses were like, but his was his father, so enough said. Lucy then asked if this was goodbye for now till Friday, or would he be heading in the same direction as her. Jameson knew where the offices were for The Chronicle, but also knew that his office was in the opposite direction.
"Sorry Lucy. I will be going in the opposite direction. Pity though. Would have loved more time with you." That was for sure. So Jameson slid out from the booth, and slung his laptop bag over his shoulder. As he waited for Lucy to stand up from the booth, he fiddled around in his wallet for a business card, and pulled out a pen to write his mobile number on there as well. "Here. Here is my work number, and my mobile phone number. Call anytime." He hoped she would. Jameson then headed outside the door of the coffee shop.
He waited for Lucy to come outside also, and then turned to her. "Well Lucy. It was nice to meet you, and I await our date on Friday night." James didn't know whether to shake her hand, hug her or what. So he decided to do something else. He lent in and kissed her on the cheek. He waited for some kind of response, and then finished. "Okay Lucy. I will see you Friday night. Bye." With that James headed back to work.

When Lucy had said that she was sure Friday night would be fun for both of them, James answered by saying he was sure it would be, Lucy just gave him a warm smile, as there didn't seem to be anything else to say with regards to that part of the conversation. After Lucy said that she would be happy for James to suggest where they went all the time for their dates, she gave him another bright smile at his response.
"Well maybe I have, what with being the 'party girl' so to speak." Using her fingers as quotation marks for the 'party girl'. There were a few places she had been to which maybe Jameson hadn't heard of right enough, but she figured, time would tell. They had to get their first date over with first. Although, as she thought earlier, it sure would have to go well, since Jameson was now accompanying her on holiday. Was she biting off more than she could chew? But she shook the thoughts from her head, somehow, she could tell Jameson was a nice guy, and they wouldn't have any problems, even if, all that came out of it, was a good friendship, but she secretly hoped for more.
When Lucy had said she could guarantee he would have fun with her, he said that if it was a guarantee he would have to make sure she lived up to her pre-date speech. She felt her face blushing then a little, "Now that you've said that, I hope so too." She laughed a little then. She couldn't see him not having fun with her, she loved going to clubs, and having a good drink and a bit of a dance, yes, Lucy was very much the good time girl.
When Lucy had asked if he was heading in the same direction as herself, he apologised, saying he was heading in the opposite direction, which was a pity as he'd love to spend more time with her. This again made her blush, but she too had wanted to spend more time with him. "It is a pity, yes, I'd sure love to have spent more time with you also." She then watched as he got a business card out and wrote something down, handing it over to her, he said that it was his work number and mobile and asked her to call anytime. She grinned at him then, taking the card from him, "Thanks Jameson, I will be sure to call sometime."
Once Lucy was outside, Jameson turned to her and said it was nice to meet her, she felt her face blush again then, why the hell was she doing this so much around him? It made no sense. He then said he would await their date on the Friday night. "Me too, can't really wait to be honest." She meant it as well, she was certain they were going to have a great time together. Then Jameson gave her a kiss on the cheek, she felt her skin tingle at the touch, and then unable to stop herself, she said, "I'm sure you could do better than that." She gave him a mischievous grin then, and waited for a response, before saying, "Okay Jameson, I will see you on Friday night. Bye." She then turned and headed in the direction of The Chronicle offices, feeling like she was missing out on something already.

Jameson had to laugh a little, when Lucy had replied to what he said, about her living up to her pre-date speech. He knew deep down that he wouldn't be disappointed, liking what he had already had a preview of over coffee. James was good company, but knowing that Lucy was not after him for his money, only after him, for him, then he was a bit more relaxed with the idea of them going out on Friday.
When he said that he wasn't going in her direction, but hoped he had to spend more time with her, he noticed Lucy blush. He then listened as she said that it was a pity, and that she would have loved to have spent more time with him also. Well, that was a good sign then. They had played off of each other so well during the initial meeting, and now he felt positive about the outcome, and what might happen on the date. He then handed her his business card, which now held his mobile on there. James grinned, when Lucy said that she would be sure to call sometime.
When Lucy again blushed, when Jameson said it was nice to meet her, he wondered if that was her thing - blushing. He had no hassels about it, really, but just wondered. Did guys just do that to her, or was it just him? Who knew, only time would tell. So then Jameson listened to what Lucy said in reply, and he then lent in and kissed her on the cheek. Right after that, Lucy said that he could do better then then. "Well, you will have to wait till Friday to find out." With that Jameson gave her a bit of a cheeky grin, said goodbye, and head back to work.

When Jameson laughed at Lucy's response to hoping that she'd be able to live up to her pre-date speech, she realised she really liked that laugh of his. Now she really couldn't wait for Friday night, to see what would come of it. She was sure now more than ever that they would both have a great night. Lucy was quite disappointed they were having to go in different directions to get to their work, she really would have loved to spend more time with him, getting to know him even more than she already had.
After Jameson had kissed Lucy on the cheek, she had said she was sure he could do better than that. When James responded, she couldn't help but giggle slightly. "Guess that's me been told, well I will certainly hold you to that Jameson." She continued to giggle, and shake her head, as she turned and headed in the direction of her work, feeling all fuzzy inside, and looking forward to the Friday night.
