Yeah. Sometimes, being 'nice' worked against you. Or... Most of the time. Say, someone came up to you and asked you something, and you were considered a 'nice' person. Then, you would say yes, just because you felt it wa smean saying 'no'. And that was exactly what had happenned to Elanora, a while ago.She was unhable to say no... Not that she considered herself to be exactly 'nice', but she wasn't mean eiher...
Her grandmother had paid her a little visit... And well, she was a pain in the ass, to be honest. Saying how everything was a mess when it really wasn't stating how she felt as if Elanora was the 'dullest' person around because of her appartment, and it kept going for hours, until Elanora came up with an excuse to... well... Kick her out. But she was family, so yeah. She had to deal with it.. But only for a certain time.
And this time, Elanora had noticed how her Grandma had been nicer then usual. And it kind of felt cool... Until said Grandmom said something along the line of 'Elanora, I have something to ask you'... Yikes. Then she expected something big. What was she going to ask? Money? 'Cause she didn't have any for herself, or well, not any spare. To stay with her?! What CRAZY excuse would she come up with for her NOT to move in!?
But no. She had handed her a box, dark blue velvet. And inside was her grandfather old pocket watch. And she requested that she went and got it fixed. All she had to do, was find a shop that could fix it. And of course, 'she would pay her back' (As if. She didn't believe a word. She always said that but left in a rush... Oh well).
All this crossed her mind as she walked down the street... And noticed a sign. She slapped her forehead with the palm of her hand, having forgotten all about that pocket watch. She grumbled a bit, stopping dead in her track, and looking around her purse. She could remember putting the box in there a while back... And yes! There it was. She grabbed it, smilling slightly to herself, and walked to the door. Gray's and Sons? Familly business then? Oh well.
Pushing the door, she brushed a strand of blonde hair out of her eyes, and looked at the man sitting behind the counter.... Who looked "busy". She ALMOST felt like going back, and leaving him to... Eat his food and watch whatever he was watching, but it was too late. She was in there. So she slowly walked to the counter, smilling timidly... Feeling bad about interupting.

Sylar really didn’t expect to have any customers and yet why was he still even here? He had cleaned up the place and now he was sitting on his ass watching Stargate. Not that he mind. He just needed to get away from those idiots at Pinehearst. He sore to god that he worked with an idiots and going back to his clock shop was the only thing that kept him sane from wanting to blow up Pinehearst. But Uncle Arthur was always standing in the way – don’t blow up his precious building. Yes, Arthur was dead but…Sylar could still speak to him. Awkward wasn’t it?
He was watching his favorite episodes of Stargate while eating Chinese. It was something he used to do after killing not that anyone would care. He wasn’t going to inform the non advance humans of what he did in his spare time. He was kind of pissed off at the writers of Stargate – they kept on killing his favorite character. He didn’t understand why and it just pissed him off. Not that he cared, but he just wanted to know why. Why would they do that? Sometimes he felt as if he wanted to go to Vancouver and hurt the writers.
He heard a nose and looked up from his chair. He watched a blond women come into the shop. What the hell was it with blond women and him? He began to wonder. He then turned the television off with his the remote and placed his Chinese food on the counter as he leaned on the counter from his chair looking at the women wondering what she wanted. Funny thing he had taken a lot of powers over the years but he hadn’t taken Telepathy. Like he needed to read the minds of the innocent in which he preyed on.
He just gave a weak smile at the women and waited for a response. However he was kind of getting impatient. He didn’t look like he was getting impatient. He was good at faking it. It was a few moments of silence before he finally decided to speak about the situation at hand. “Can I help you, Miss?” he asked in a soft polite voice. He could be polite at times.
{just to let you know. I have Sylar related to the Petrelli's as their cousin so that is why he is referring to Arthur as his uncle. Samson is Angela's brother on here lmao}

Elanora watched as the other set his food on the counter, turned off the tv... And looked at her. Giving a weak smile. Ooch. Made her feel kind of unwanted, but she didn't care all that much. All she really wanted was to get that damned thing repaired and to give it back to her grandmother, so that she stopped harrassing her over the phone and telling her stuff like 'Is it really all that difficult for you to find a repair shop' or 'Why are you so lazy'. Yeah, didn't made her want to search for a place, but she had stumbled upon one. Disturbing a man and his food. But eh. Atleast, he was speaking to her now, asking her what he could do to help, and not glaring or something. So she smiled back, stopping at the counter, and clearing her throat. " Erm... Well I sure hope so." she said, shaking her head a bit. Yeah, she didn't feel like saying 'Oh please do, or I'll be harrassed for the rest of my days' and then be stared at weirdly, so... The woman put her purse on the floor between her feet, looking back to the man. She put the box down on the counter, taking the top off... And realised she didn't even know what WAS wrong with the watch. She hadn't even looked at it. But grandma had told her it was a broken pocket watch, so yeah... The woman couldn't be old to the point of giving wrong names to stuff, right? And well, when she did take a glance at the content of the box, she raised a brow, both happy and curious. It WAS a watch, thank lord. That thing looked great, other then the... Cracked glass. Sure, it wasn't running either. But yeah. So, she looked back up to the man, smilling again, and pushing the box more towards him. " Think you could fix this?" she asked him... Her eyes flashing to the box of chinese food and back quickly, almost feeling bad again... But not so much. Hey maybe she was saving him from eating... Alley cat or something. Damned chinese food. (Yeah! I saw that before XD But thanks for pointing it out. 'cause I got a baaad memory. Annnd...yeah! (

Sylar wanted to mentally slap himself in the forehead. This girl didn’t seem to know what she was in here for and he hated when people did that. Just to come into a repair shop and annoy him to death. Perhaps it was punishment. For just not being at the repair shop the last few months. He just blinked at her as she stated that she sure hoped that she could be helped.
He watched her place a box on the counter taking the top off of the box. He surely hoped it was a watch. Sure he could fix other things but this was a watch repair shop and nothing more. He had a purpose with this shop and it was to repair watches. Not that he really cared much about repairing watches it was just a side job. He began to wonder if the woman was ever go to let him see what was in the box.
The box was then pushed towards him and she responded to him asking if he could fix the watch. He placed his long fingers and on the box and took out the watch examining it. He noticed that it had a cracked glass but he wasn’t sure if he would be able to repair the cracked glass part as he placed it near his ear. The watch wasn’t running. “I can fix the watch but not the cracked glass part” he said as he gently put down the watch in the box. “It will take fifteen minutes so come back in fifteen?” he asked in a polite tone.

Yeah. What would have happenned if... IT was something else in the box. What if her grandmother had tricked her, or been delirious!? Then, that would have meant embarassement... And she probably would have felt like kicking herself in the head or something. If that was even possible. OH well! Now, she wouldn't have to worry about such a thing, because it WAs a watch!
She looked at the other as he put the watch to his hear, and it almost made her want to snicker, but she didn't. Because he probably knew what he was doing... Well, yeah. He was the one who worked there. She listened as he spoke, nodding her head. Screw the glass. Her grandmother would have to deal with it, because she wasn't going to seek the whole city for someone who could replace it. No way. She had other stuff to do.. Like... Erm, eat, and sleep. Okay, she WAS kind of lazy when it came to doing something for the old woman. But atleast, she tried.
When he told her it would take fifteen minutes, she nodded her head. Was he telling her to leave and then come back or something? Oh well. "Alright. Well, thank you. And sorry about... You know." she said, pointing to the food. It would be cold by then.. And re-heated chinese had to suck. She smiled, and grabbed her purse from the floor, turning on her heels and walking toward the door. She turned her head and spoke over her shoulder "I'll see you in fifteen minutes I guess."
Oh damnit. What was there to do now? she thought, as she walked out into the humidity of the outside. She looked around, spotting a café... And made a quick trip there, getting a mango italian soda. Gah. That so was her sin. And well, right about 15 minutes later, she walked back to the shop, walking in again, silently... Looking at the drink, making the bubble of gas stop in their tacks as they went up. Yeah, it was kind of a hobby, she guessed. Or well, when she had nothing to do... What the hell, it was something she COULD do, and she just did it. Plus, that was barely noticable, unmoving bubbles instead of upward-moving ones!

He really knew the watch was broken but he wasn’t going to say that to the women. He was going to hide his ability. Like he needed to act normal around people who weren’t advanced as him. He just played it as he was normal. Like hell he was normal. He wasn’t normal and people who were normal were afraid of him. He never killed normal people but it felt good but the killing of the Bennet’s just felt as if it was needed to happen.
He really didn’t mean to be rude to the women. Actually he meant being rude to the women. He was going to repair the watch and everything was going to be fine and dandy. However in order for him to work he needed to be alone. He just raised his eyebrow as the women thanked him and then started to point as his food. He just blinked at her as she walked away. “Yep, fifteen minutes”
Once the person was gone he grabbed his old glasses that were in the drawer next to the counter and placed them on. He then grabbed some tools and used his telekinesis to have the watch come to him. He began to work on the watch and made the repairs that were needed. He was done in ten minutes with five minutes to spare. Oh what to do…
He ate his Chinese food and threw it in the trash once he was finished and placed the watch on the counter. He disappeared for a few moments in the back…actually teleporting to get a newspaper. He then appeared at random in front of the shop with the Chronicle Newspaper and didn’t notice that the women was back. He was reading the paper and looked up. “Your watch is done that will be five bucks, ma’am” he said from behind her.

Elanora kept looking at her plastic, transparent cup, playing with the bubbles... Making them move aorund the glass like it was some kind of tornado, after looking up to make sure the guy wasn't there of course! Yeah, when she noticed she was alone, she guessed he was still working on the watch somewhere in the back of the shop. Well, no big thing... That didn't worry her or anything.
Though... Well... What bright idea he had to what, sneak up on her or something! Because Elanora was a jumpy person. And jumpy when using her 'ability' wasn'T exactly the best of idea. So, when she heard his voice from behind her... How had he got there, she had no idea... But when she did, she jumped. Or well, her concentration did. And the outcome was pretty nice...
Not. The italian soda seemingly jumped out of the cup, soaking her clothes, and some falling to the floor. Of course, this all came with a deep, sudden intake of breath, making it obvious she WAS startled. "Holy cow" she said, turning around rapidly to look at him, the intact glass still in her hands... Weird, yes, how all liquid had left the cup, but the lid was still on, and the cup itself looked perfectly fine.
She opened her mouth to speak, looking at him with slightly wider then usual eyes. "I am.. So sorry. I'll clean up." she said, looking down at her wet, black halter top, and dark blue jeans. Well.... That was totally like her. She almost braced herself for what was coming, but hopefully he wouldn't be TOO mad, most of the stuff was on her... ALL over her as a matther of fact. And it was all that matthered. She didn'T think of what the dude would think of it. How... Soda had left the glass without her really moving. Guh. Shh. SHE was obvious most of the time. Cross you fingers, he was too? Guh she hoped so.

Sylar went to get a newspaper. He wanted to keep up with the events of the day. He was surprised that they haven’t even mentioned him. Perhaps he needed to make them fear him. Like Voldemort which reminded him. He needed to return that Harry Potter movie. He really couldn’t believe that he would want a damn newspaper to have the people fear him. He was better than that fictional character known as Voldemort.
He didn’t mean to startle the women. Okay maybe he did. But he wanted her out of the place so he could shut it down. He was done with the shop. He wanted to go back to New Jersey and torment the employees of Pinehearst. He really couldn’t torment anyone here. Plus it was always fun to do it at Pinehearst. And the reason why it was fun at Pinehearst to torment people was because there was actually employees there unlike here in this cheap ass shop that he had no clue why he kept it opened.
He watched the reaction of the women as he startled her. She had jumped and he didn’t even noticed that she had a soda. The soda then jumped out of the cup, soaking all over the women’s clothes. Just his fucking luck. He blinked a few times sighing as he looked at the mess that the women had made. He shook his head not saying a word. Not wanting to get mad.
However he was mad. He just closed his eyes and began to wonder why the soda would leave the glass and she didn’t seem to move. It just seemed a bit awkward unless – she had an ability. He opened his dark brown eyes shaking his head as he used his telekinesis to grab the box that was on the counter. He then handed it to her. “No charge and you don’t have to clean it up” he said in annoyed voice. “I’ll have someone else clean it up”

So, yeah. He looked mad. Or more annoyed then anything else, as he was the mess... Well, it wasn't really a MESS for him, more for her clothes, really. There wasn't much on the floor, all of it had pretty much landed on her clothes. So she didn't know why he looked so annoyed, closing his eyes and shaking his head and stuff. SHE should have been annoyed. Because now, she'd have to go back to her appartment, and change clothes, and-
Her train of thoughts were interupted. When... The dude, somehow got the box... To land in his hand. As if it just floated there. She looked at him, her jaw hanging just slightly... As if she was oging to say something. But... She couldn't. She barely heard him as he told her she didn't have to give him money and that he'd let someone clean it up. All she could think of was 'Holy. Shit.'
She closed her mouth, diging in her pocket and taking out a 20$ bill. Holding it out. "Just... Just take it." she said sternly, taking the box with her other, free hand. She opened her mouth to speak again, but just ended up closing itand starring at the box shortly... Then she furrowed her brows at him, shaking her head, kind of ticked off at his annoyed tone. She WAS being nice...
"I saw that. You're... You're like... You're like me right?" she said, and if he just stared at her and told her to leave.... She'd probably do it. Or not. She'd probably end up telling him how she HAd seen the box move to him, and probably would end up showing him what it was SHE could do... NOT TAKING CONTROL OF THE AIR IN THE ROOM. Of course not. Too hazardous. But she COULd do other stuff... Like make air rush around or something... Kind of like wind except not. Or... She was confused. This guy was special. Different. Like her.

So what if it was just a little mess. He had just cleaned up the entire store hours before and now here was a sticky situation. Soda was all over the place – okay not literary all over the place but in one particular spot. That one spot was where he killed Brain Davis. He hated that spot but he really didn’t understand how he could still be in possession of this lame shop.
Sylar then did the unthinkable not really caring if the women randomly saw him. Okay he might of randomly cared because she could have been the next murder victim not like he cared. He just looked at her as her jaw hung slightly. He wondered what the hell her problem was. He had just let her not be charged for the damn watch and he was going to have someone clean up the mess.
The next thing he knew she had closed her month and was digging into her pocket. For what Sylar had no clue what and really didn’t care. Then he saw what she was digging out of her pocket: a green dollar bill. Oh well he would take the money. He grabbed the money rolling his eyes at her. Seriously all he wanted her to do was to leave.
He expected her to leave but then she just had to cross the line. When she spoke about seeing something and that he was just like him. He couldn’t help it and he activated his lie detection ability and she wasn’t lying at all. However he was going to lie. “I’m sorry ma’am but I have no clue what you’re talking about” he said in a confused tone. He was so lying and this women would probably catch on...or so he hoped she didn't.

Oh, christ. He was just... Arrogant, wasn't he?! Rolling his eyes at perfectly fine money, four time the ammount she was asked for the first time. She squinted her blue eyes at him... Giving him the smallest of glares. Owning a shop didn't allowed you to be an ass to clients. Nor did being able to fix watches. She shook her head a bit, looking at her purse, placing the box in it as he spoke again.
Wow. That WAS a lie. Well, OBVIOUSLY it was. Sure, she didn't actually know the man, but it was easy to tell. Raddical change in attitude. That made it all more obvious. First, he was being pissed off and annoyed and whatever, and now he was 'confused'. She let a soft chuckle bubble up her throat and looked at him with quirked eyebrows.
"Yeah, okay whatever. You have to be one of the worst liar in the hirstory or humanity. But whatever." she said, shaking her head, and turning toward the door. "I won't take anymore of your time, because it's obviously precious. Just do your thing or something." she added a bit coldly... Pissed that he wouldn't tell her more about this. SHE WANTED to know. She wasn't INSANE. The box had... FLEW or something form the counter, all the way to his hand.
She took a glance at him over her shoulder, walking towards the door.... Secretly hoping he'd say something about what had just happenned. Something like 'Ok fine, let me tell you'... But pfft, then she couldn't care less. If he wanted to be that way, then two could play that game....
She could be a bitch, too. Believe it or not. And then someday, maybe he would choke in his sleep or something.... Nah, she wasn't that bad. Plus, he was just another face in the crowd... He was nothing special. To her. Or at all, maybe.

So he was being a complete jackass and he really didn’t care. He had a good client base and they didn’t mind if he went all pissy at them. It was just how the hell he worked. He was an ass and so what? He didn’t care if he had lost client base. He had enough of his fair share of clients. He didn’t need any more morons for clients.
Perhaps lying wasn’t a good idea. Maybe he should confess it not like it mattered to him anyway. He was always the one with the lies. He was used to lying to people. Though he was just so pissed at this women that he really didn’t care if she had caught on to his lies. Everyone was prone to lie…no matter what it was just part of the human brain.
“I’m not the worst liar in humanity” he snapped as he watched the person head towards the door. He really didn’t want to do what he was about to do but she just had it coming. She really did and it wasn’t his fault if he did what he was about to do. He just hoped that the damn place didn’t explode. Actually to be honest he didn’t care…
So he did it and he really didn’t care. His eyes turned dark and he gave a smirk as he snapped his fingers and the door locked itself. “So you think I’m a liar?” he asked rolling his eyes. “First of all yes I’m a liar, I get that from my family – they are all liars” he began to shake his head. “I’m special and I do have a special ability” he spat as he concentrated on the women using the Puppet Master ability he took from someone. He made her face him…

Oh, snappy. Poor boy. All she had told him was that he was a bad liar. Or well, thisone time, he had been one. And he was making a huge drama out of it. Proves you how some people need to rethink their priorities! And hers right now were to go get food, and get the hell away form the dude before she got really pissed and did something she'd regret. So as he spoke, she just rolled her eyes. Now, was it that bad of a thing to be told you were 'the worst liar in humanity'?
Because he sure made it look like it. And just when she did reach the door, she heard him snap his finger... and then there was a noise form the door too. And that's right about when she started to get a liiiittle bit nervous. She tried to open it... But nope. That didn't work. So she just stayed there, looking out the window... Confused, really.
She listened to him, as he told her stuff she really did not need to know, like how his family were liars too, and stuff. And then he admitted to having an ability... To being 'special'. And she was about to look at him, but before she could do anything.. Willingly, he did something. Or she thought it was him... And well, she just... turned around. Furrowing her brows, she looked at the other, noticing the radical change in his face.... As if he had turned really bad or something.
"What are you doing?" she asked, calmly. Well, she didn't want to.... Do anything wrong. She starred at him, trying to think of options if thing went bad... And well, it was kind of hard. So... But hell, he WAS admitting ot having an 'ability', wich was something she did want to hear.... so. But then, she didn't know the guy. She didn't who he was, how powerful he was... So maybe pushing it hadn't been all that good of an idea...

Okay so maybe he really shouldn’t be telling this woman about his family issues not like he cared about his ridiculous family. They were all idiots – his father was a filthy liar. His adopted mother was dead because of Hiro Nakamura. The only people that cared about him were his aunt and uncle. He didn’t quite understand that situation and he never wanted to learn.
So what was Sylar going to do with this women? Well to be honest he had no clue what he was going to do to her. He was going to embarrass her or maybe even kill her. Not that he wanted to kill this innocent girl he was just pissed at her and she needed to get a lesson. And this was her lesson never push the limit with Sylar. Because he hated people pushing the limit when it wasn't him.
“What am I doing?” he asked in a mimicking tone. He loved to mimic people sometimes and he didn’t care if they liked it or not. Shit happened. And what he was about to do to this poor women wasn’t going to be pretty. He was so tempted to slice her brain open. Not like he cared but then again he did care.
