Oh joy.
Everyone was paired up.... Everyone but her. What was this? Some speed dating café or something? LOVER BIRD INC. café?! She frowned slightly, rolling her eyes at her own thoughts. She put her elbow on the table, resting her chin in the palm of her hand, her blue eyes scanning the busy cafe she was sitting at. The place had this comforting feeling to it... Everything was warm. From the dark orange color of the wall, to the cushy leather chairs... Hell, even the staff looked lovely to her.... But it didn't change a thing about the way she felt.
The place made her feel sick to her stomach. People were talking to eachother in low voices, laughing silently... Having a good time. And Elanora... She sat on the brown leather chair, a glass of 7up on the round table infront of her. Yes, soda. She didn't feel like having coffee. So why go to a coffe place? Well to hell with the other places, she probably didn't look as weird sitting there alone then in a food court, or some restaurant.
Turning her eyes back to her drink, she let her index finger to her left hand slide on the edge of the glass... Every single bubble of co2 moving from the glass... Forming one big, transparent bubble at the bottom of the glass. She didn'T really think about it, it just happenned... She smiled slightly, watching as it seperated into two smaller bubbles, knowing no one would notice such a thing... But not really caring anyways.
What if they did notice? Hell, maybe she wouldn't feel as bad. She hated feeling... That weird. She didn't LOOK weird! Hell, no. Dressed in dark blue, thight fitting jeans, a black and green stripped, long sleeved, v-neck shirt, and black converse sneakers... She looked pretty ordinary, really. But... IF someone noticed... Maybe then she'd make some new friends... Or something.
But she pushed the idea aside, starring at the bubble of gaz in her glass... Kind of sadly.

It had been a bad, bad few months for Jared. Well, it had been a bad life for Jared really, what with his parents dying when he was eight years old and being shipped off to his uncle who treated him like shit. Well, he physically and mentally abused him. One day when Jared was older, he had had enough of his uncle, and accidentally killed him. Well, hardly accidentally, Jared knew what he was doing, when he kicked the stone like figure of his uncle standing in front of him. He thought it would make him happy, but it didn't. Instead, it turned him into a bit of an ass.
He moved to America, to start a new life, and that new life was Jared being a wanker and ass, to pretty much anybody who got in his path. Then he met Rayne. He thought he had finally found someone to love him, for him, and he had sort of fallen, a little deeply. How wrong that was. Actually what was wrong, was having her tag along, when he kidnapped the President's daughter for kicks. The crazy bitch Rayne, had phased her hand into Claire's womb and pulled out her unborn child, killing it. Jared had basically frozen, and slumped against the wall, finding it difficult that she could have done that to a harmless unborn baby. It brought back all his unhappy childhood memories.
After Rayne phased her hand into Jared's shoulder, telling him he was weak, he had did the only thing he could do, crawled to the pool of blood surrounding Claire, and smeared it onto his wound and then watched as it healed. It was awesome. But he swore from that day, his days of being an ass were over. However, just how over they were, he didn't know. He just felt lonely. He needed a good woman by his side, whether that took him down a good or bad path.
He was now sitting in this café, drowning his sorrows once more in a coffee which had gone rather cold by now. Getting bored, and irritable, he began to look around, and that's when he saw her. She was stunning, bright, gorgeous eyes, full luscious lips. He had to shake himself, and then pinch himself, just to make sure he wasn't in a dream. But, no, he wasn't. She was really there. His eyes drifted down to her hands, which were playing around with her glass, and even from where he was sitting with a careful eye, he could see movement in the bottom of her glass.
He began to wonder if she had an ability, although what she had, was beyond him. He had seen enough, or met enough people now, to know he wasn't alone in this crazy world where having abilities were concerned. He left his cold coffee, and went over to her table, and slipped in really close beside her, making sure nobody was really looking, and then hovered his hand above her glass, and immediately you could see, little sparkles of ice forming around the inner edge of her glass.
He then looked at her, "Allow me to give you some ice with your drink?" His voice was bold, and the English accent was typically clear as always in the surrounds of deep American accents. The last time, he had approached a young woman like this, it hadn't gone down too well, he wondered how this one would go, as he looked at her, locking his eyes with her own.

Yes. One thing they had in common... Both of them had killed the person who had "raised" them... But Elanora. No, she did not mean to do it. It was totally unexpected, and confused her greatly. She thought it was but a dream, or a nightmare... Ever since then, she has viewed her powers as... Well, a burden more than anything else, to be honest. I mean, it was powerful enough to kill someone... And there she was, unable to REALLY fully control it.
Sure, that thing she was doing with her glass of soda... It was easy. But... To control the air of the café would be much, much harder. She would have to concentrate really really bad... And then it would feel to everyone else but her as if all oxygen had been sucked out of the room, leaving them to float a few centimeters above the ground, struggling to find their breath back....
She noticed something had changed, and find her way back to reality... Someone was now standing very close to her... And had their hand hovering her glass. What WAS he doing? I mean... Standing that close, looking around as if making sure they were unnoticed... That was HER type of things to do! She furrowed her brows, looking at the man shortly, puzzled, before letting her eyes go back to the glass.... And then she noticed it. It was... Frozen? Her eyes widdened a bit.... Her pupils dilated.
And the two big bubbles disappeared, casting a hundred little ones through the glass. "How.. What did you...." she started to say, her soft voice almost surprising her. Well, she WAs shocked. Had she found.... Someone else like her? Or similar to her? Was he playing some bad trick on her? She looked up at him, before grabbing the glass from under his hand.... Feeling how cold it now was as he fingers wrapped around it.
She looked at it. Amazed. And smiled softly, putting it back on the table, and standing up... She looked up at the other from her ALMIGHTY 5'4. "Are you.... Tricking me?!" she asked in a hushed whisper. She was mad that maybe he WAS tricking her, but... Her eyes shone brightly in hope. In joy. In amazement. What if he was like her? Then, there WERE plenty more!? Maybe he knew some. Maybe she didn't need to feel so horrible!?
And then, she thought back... To that accent of his. Wich WOULD have made her swoon and sigh dreamily in any other situation. English? Oh yes, please and thank you. With blue eyes and blond-ish hair? OH. That too.

(ooc - sorry it took me so long to reply - forgive moi lol}
Jared watched closely for facial reactions from the girl after he had managed to put a film of ice around her glass. He had to stop himself from laughing out loud, at how wide her eyes went. He couldn't help but smile mischievously at her, as she struggled to speak, asking him how he did what he did. He noticed how soft her voice sounded, a voice he could maybe get to like.
He put his finger to his lips, "Ssh." He then looked around again, but everybody seemed to be so busy with what they were doing, they weren't what you could say paying attention to either of them. He then put his hand gently on her arm, and once again, allowed his ability to cool her skin, not freezing her, or anything, just enough to let her feel the coolness. He then looked at the water jug on the table, and using his ability, he poured the water into his one hand, which was forming into ice as it touched his skin, and with careful concentration, he manipulated it into a rose shape.
He then handed it over to the girl, "For you." He smiled, and then, spoke in a quiet voice, "I saw what was happening to your drink, I could sense you were doing it. You're different right? Like me? " He gave her a bright smile then, not that this girl was the first of their kind he'd met, he'd met a few, but none as gorgeous as she was.
When she asked if he was tricking her, he just slowly shook his head, and then leaned in ever close to her ear, having to bend slightly, "I don't trick people love, at least not bloody gorgeous girls such as yourself." He stood back then, looking at her and winking. "So no, I wasn't tricking you. The name's Jared Richards." He then slipped into the seat beside her, "Don't mind if I sit with you a bit love?" Of course, wasn't that what he did with that other girl and she just blew him off? Oh well, you didn't get anywhere in life, if you didn't try.

Woah. Wait. Was this all REALLY happening? Oh yes, it was... Or well, she felt it was! He touched her arm... And it was cool. How could this be a trick!? HE certainly haden't been planning to do this and held ice in his hands forever to get cold hands! What were the other possibilities!? Maybe... Or wait. Maybe he WAs like her! She watched him... As he poured water in his hand... And then turned it into a rose.
And she stared. For a few seconds only, but she did stare. Amazed, once again. She then popped out of her bubble, and took the rose from him... Looking at it with a soft smile grazing her lips. She snapped out of it again, and looked around, clearing her throat. Well, that guy was... Sweet. A rose made out of ice?
And he spoke again. Telling her how he saw what she was doing. And asking her if she was "different" too, or well, stating it. She blinked up at him, blushing slightly. Different? YEs. But she was a girl nonetheless, and he had just gaze her a 'rose', and now... He was speaking again, leaning close ot her ear as he did so, and calling her gorgeous.
She laughed softly, looking down, and shrugging her shoulders. "Yeah. Different. I mean it's nothing as... No pun intended, cool as you, but I guess you could say I am different." she said, smiling back to him. Different. Maybe she didn't feel so weirdly different now that he was around. She listened to hima s he spoke again, introducing himself properly.
"Jared." she repeated, looking at him as he sat down, letting the name roll off her tongue, tasting it a bit. Well, she would remember that one. "Oh, please do..." she said, laughing slightly at how unnecessary it was to say this... Seeing how he was already sitting. "I'm Elanora... Elanora Degal." she added, looking at him. "How... What... When did you find out you could..." she said, looking around and lifting the rose... That was now starting to drop little drop of waters down her hand. And that was freezing her fingers a bit.
She had some questions to ask, and hoped he would give her answers.

Jared noticed her blush slightly, but he wasn't about to play on it, that wasn't really Jared's style, he didn't play on people's emotions, well, he didn't do it anymore. There was a while where it would have been all he did. Not now. When he had stated that she was like him, different, he waited for her response, although he didn't need her to confirm it, he had already figured it out, having been around enough people like himself, he could always sense it in someone. Just the shifty way they looked around themselves. She then agreed that she was different, and that her ability wasn't as, cool as his, and said there was no pun intended.
He smirked a little then. He got that a lot, the no pun intended line. "So, what is it you can do then?" He asked in a quiet voice, obviously not wanting to draw attention to them, looking at what she could do, it was either some air manipulation or gas manipulation thing. He was interested to know. "If I were to take a guess, I'd say something to do with manipulating gas or air?" He smiled at her then.
He couldn't help but smile again, and add a little wink, when he heard her repeat his name. It sounded good in her voice, he had to admit that much to himself. Although he wasn't so up himself to actually say it out loud. When Jared had asked if he could sit with her for a bit, he hadn't really waited for a reply, having already sat down, but she said he could anyway, and then laughed.
"You've got a lovely laugh by the way." He couldn't help but come out with the compliments, despite the fact he might be slightly older than her, but he found he didn't care. She was gorgeous. She then told him her name. Now that a very unusual name he thought, and he loved it. "Ah, beautiful name for a beautiful face." God, he was charming the ass of her here, he was mentally slapping himself inside, and yet, couldn't seem to stop coming away with the corny chat up lines. Maybe it was the British Londoner in him, who knew?
She then began to ask him about his ability, in a broken sentence, but he was able to work out what she was asking him. "Found out a long time ago love, not something I'm too happy about, not the ability, but the finding out about it at any rate. Find the ability quite cool, no pun intended." He winked, using her own words right back at her. "How about yourself, when did you realise you could do what you can do?" If she was going to ask him questions about himself, and he was willing to share, he was just as willing to listen. He smiled at her, and then without another moment's hesitation, he asked, "Would you like another drink at all?"

Well... Lucky week? Two people with abilities. First the guy from the clock shop, now him. And to say she hadn't met ANYONE wiht those powers before that week. She blinked, wanting to shake her head a bit at her own thought, but decided against it, not wanting to look like a complete, total fool, shaking her head at random... She looked at him as he spoke up quietly, asking her a question...
She sighed softly, listening as he placed his guess, and she let a soft smile reach her lips. "Bingo. Air Manipulation." she said, shrugging her shoulder. And... She didn't REALLY know what to do with it. She didn't fully get what she could do with it, and well, testing it just seemed a bit hazardous to her...
Sure, there was little thing she could do, but sometimes... She was tempted to push it. To see for herself exactly what it was she could do, how far it would go. I mean, just a few days prior to meeting that Clcok Dude, she had thought she was the only one in her situation, so things change, right? And well... Maybe, just maybe there was a reason why they had such abilities, why they could do thing like no other....
And then... And then he stated how she had a lovely laugh... And she couldn't help but to laugh silently in response, furrowing her eyebrows a bit. Well, that was a first. Someone complimenting her on her laugh. Weird. But she wasn't going to say anything bad or complain about it. BUT, he yet again gave her a compliment, about her old name this time... And her face. "Well now, Jared. Are you... Trying to seduce me? OR is it a natural thing for you to come up with all those cheesy lines?" she asked him playfully.
But then, he asked her a question. Well, he asked her the same question she, herself, had asked. And she shrugged her shoulders, looking at her glass silently for a few seconds, remembering it. "Well, not in the best of circumstances, honestly. wish it would have been elseway, but yeah. Sadly, I can't change the past. So it's just something I have to deal with." she replied, sighing softly. BUT, he asked her if she wanted another drink, so she looked at him, smilling. "Oh ehm. No. Very nice of you, but I'm okay." she replied, nodding her head. Plus, her glass was still half full... And ice cold. SO! She was just fine.
[[I'm sorry about the lenght and suckiness of that... -pouts-]]

{ooc - nothing wrong with it honey}
As Jared took a guess at her ability, he saw a smile appear on her lips, so he figured he must have been on the right track, but which one was it? Air or gas? Well the question was soon to be answered when she spoke again. So, it was air manipulation, could be dangerous he thought. Although just how dangerous it could be, he had no idea of course. "Hmm, I'd imagine that could be quite a dangerous ability?" He couldn't help but ask, after all, he had to make sure he didn't upset her now, what if, well he didn't want to think what could happen if he got her upset or angry.
When Jared had complimented her on her laugh, he noticed her laugh again, although a lot more lightly than before. He was certainly putting the moves on this female, what was wrong with him? Other than the fact he was god damned lonely. Seconds later he had complimented her again on her name and her face. When she spoke this time, she asked if he was trying to seduce her, or was he a natural at it. Now it was Jared's turn to laugh lightly. He wasn't sure what to say, but then, thinking about it, he couldn't help himself, "Well, cryokinesis is my given ability, cheesy lines is what I like to call my natural inbuilt ability love. I wouldn't say I was trying to seduce as such, just, well, I'm very lonely." He winked at her then, and chuckled after it.
God, he was sounding desperate, he didn't want that, but he wasn't meaning to sound like that, he was just trying to make light of the situation, and now probably just made it a lot worse. Hopefully, Elanora would see the humour in what he said, and he would hear that laugh of hers again.
When Elanora spoke of how she found out about her ability, she said it wasn't the best of circumstances, and wished it had been some other way. "Well, I tell you what love, I'm quite a good listener, you tell me all about your past, and I'll return the favour, maybe we're kindred spirits you and I?" He wasn't messing around this time, he was being serious. He had then asked if she wanted another drink, but she declined.
"No problem love, if you do need another, then let me know, and I'll buy you one." He then beckoned for the waiter to come over and he asked for a glass of water this time, deciding to ditch the coffee from earlier. Moments later he was sitting with a glass of water, which he had began to take a sip from, wondering if Elanora would indeed tell him about her past.

Elanora smiled a bit as the other stated how it could be quite dangerous of an ability. Air manipulation. She nodded her head, shrugging her shoulder a bit. "Well, yes. I'd guess so... But I don't really have it figured out yet." she said, sighing a bit. If you went with logic... Air manipulation. That means she could control and create air/mass of air, right? Then... Wind WAS air. And the weather depended on air... So wouldn't she be able to do alot more then she thouight? Create kind of tornadoes, hurricanes? Ok, that was a bit big, but there HAD to be more to it....
And then, her thoughts went to a few days prior to this meeting. She HAD felt a gust of wind hit her, strong enough to make her stumble... Right before he... Her hand went to her forehead, absentmindly, her fingers touching the two inches cut on the right side of it. Though, she dropped her hand, looking at the other as he spoke up again. She laughed softly, and then furrowed her brows. "Yeah. Given ability..." she said, shaking her head a bit. GIVEN? She didn't REALLY get it, but she wasn't going to ask. "Oh... I'm pretty lonely too, to be honest. But I did this to myself." she said, laughing softly and shrugging her shoulders.
Maybe if she hadn't pushed people back by fear of hurting them with whatever ability she had, she wouldn't have been so lonely. Maybe, she would have move then, what... Two friends?! Maybe she wouldn't feel the need to work so much if she had an actual erm... Social life!? But right then and there... She didn't feel so lonely, for some reason. And well, it felt good.
As he told her how he was a good listener, Elanora blinked, stiffening up a bit. She looked down at her hands, furrowing her brows. Well, she wasn'T sure if she should tell him about it... "Well... Okay. But... Don't judge." she said, looking back at him... With pleading eyes, almost. "It's just... You know, my life wasn't easy. MY parents were high-school sweethearts, and well, they didn't have loads of money. When my little brother was born, it just... Evertyhing went bad." she said, shifting slightly in her seat, letting herself get comfortable.
"And then, well the classic, my father started to drink, and he'd fight with my mother all the time. Then came the divorce, and I didn't see him for a good five years...." she said, pausing. She took a look at him, kind of worried, because she knew what was next... "When he did show up.... I was 17, alone, and he started to get... Violent. He was drunk and reeked of alcohol... And well. Well, I found out about my ability then." she said, looking down. "So that's why I push people away most of the time. I don't want to hurt people at random." she said, shrugging her shoulder and going to grab her glass form the table. She took a drink, looking at the other as she did so... Expecting him to stand up and leave or something.

When Elanora said she guessed her ability was dangerous but hadn't really figured it out yet. Jared just raised his eyebrow at her, "You should maybe mess around with it love, I found out about the danger of mine when I was still a teenager." Thinking of how he would have felt better, and realised he didn't feel better at all, if anything he had felt bad. Even though it ate him from the inside, and turned him into a complete wanker. It was only after everything with Claire was he beginning to change his ways.
"Yeah, my given ability, the ability I was born with but didn't necessarily want." Jared went on to explain more, forgetting that certain use of words didn't alway fit well with the Americans, it was moments like this Jared realised just how British he was at times. "I can live with the ability to charm women." He winked at her then, and chuckled under his breath. When Elanora said she was lonely too but did it to herself, Jared gave her a weak smile, and nodded his head. "Well, guess you aren't quite as alone as you thought love, because my loneliness was caused by myself as well, so maybe we should just get lonely together?" My god, was he being a cheesy idiot right now, where was it all coming from?
Jared really didn't have anybody. There was his niece, but she seemed to have disappeared and he'd never been lucky enough to find her again. The only other person he had in his life, was Rayne, but she was a crazy bitch he never wants to set eyes on again. There was Kristy, but that was finished before it even started. And after meeting Shay, who disappeared without a trace, Jared really began to think that he was the one with the problem. But so far, so good, Elanora was still here, and didn't look to be going anywhere anytime soon.
When Jared told Elanora he was a good listener, and if she told him her past, he'd tell her his, she said not too convincingly that she would, but he wasn't to judge. He put his hand to his heart, "Promise, I will not judge love." He scoffed slightly, "After I tel you about my past, you'll understand why I wouldn't and couldn't judge you love." He then sat and listened to everything she had to say, nodding his head in several places, so she'd know he was listening, but wanting to wait until she was finished, before saying anything back, not being the type of person to interrupt people when they were speaking.
When she was finished, he gave her a weak and understanding smile. "Well Elanora." He began in a quiet voice, "It would seem you and I might have very similar stories. But far from pushing people away, you should embrace them, alright, maybe not everybody, not everybody is nice and worth embracing, but there are some out there, who could help you through this and help you find a better understanding of your ability. What you did, it wasn't really your fault, and I know it's easy for me to say, but don't blame yourself, it will eat you up from inside, trust me."
Jared more than knew what he was talking about, and with a deep sigh, he knew he was going to have to tell her his own story, he had promised after all. Taking a sip of his water, which had gotten quite warm now, he used his ability to cool it down, and took another sip, much better, he then began his own story. "Well, my parents died when I was eight years old and I was shipped to an uncle who didn't really want me. He treated me like shit, physically and mentally abusing me. You can imagine how that made me feel, from such a young age." He stopped, took another sip of his water, and inhaled deeply before continuing.
"Well, I suffered it for years, until I was in my late teens one day, and after a fight, when my hand suddenly went very cold, and I touched him with my hand and watched as he turned almost stone like. Basically I had frozen him, and then just for no other reason than all the abuse he'd given me, I kicked the stone like figure and he shattered into pieces. I thought it would free me, but as it happens, it did anything but, it turned me into a bitter young man, hellbent on causing mayhem everywhere I went, until I came to start a new life in America and done something I can honestly say I will regret for the rest of my life, and if you want to know what it is, I'll gladly tell you, but I don't want to inundate you with too much at once." There he'd told her the main part of his history now, and in many ways, their past lives were very similar. Maybe they were destined to be together? Who knew.

Jared was telling her how she should mess around with her ability, and she just laughed silently, shrugging her shoulders. "I don't know. I mean, I woudln't want for anything to turn bad.... But I guess it is something I'll have to do sooner or later... More likely sooner then later though." she replied, smilling slightly. "Oh and I already found out about the danger part, too." she added, nodding her head a bit. Atleast, that's something she knew about it... But she WOULD have to find out more. There had to be more to it.
When he explained what he meant about his 'given ability, she mouthed a silent oh. She had been almost scared... That there was something she didn't know about herself. She had thought that he was actually... GIVEN an ability. How, she had no idea, but it this had been the case, maybe it would have been for her too? But how, she had no idea. She smiled and shook her head slightly as he added how he could live with his OTHER ability, winking at her.
And then, he had to state how maybe they could be lonely together. All she could for for a few seconds, is stare at him. "Well, if you ask me, that sounds wonderful." she said, sighing softly. But she didn't expect for it to actually happen, really. She had just met the guy, and well, he could be saying just about anything right now... But not being so lonely anymore?! That sounded just... Great. Plus, she now knew she wasn't so weird anymore... That there were some others like her. Or well, she knew about two... Jared, and the clock guy, but she could live without that other one. I mean... He HAD threatened to kill her. Not something she really needed.
He then commented about her 'story' or 'history' really, and she listened intently, nodding her head a bit. All she had to do, now, was to... Find someone to help her out. OR whatever, I mean, if there were more people out there with ability, someone had to know something important about it... Why had she been so obvious to it all? She had no idea. But maybe, if she hadn't been so concerned about it, aybe she hadn't been pushing people away all those years... Maybe then she would have known more about it. But you know, she didn't have regrets. Only fears.
Jared began to tell her about his own past, and Elanora didn't say a word, listening carefully, curious to know just how similar their story was. And well, he had been telling the truth, there were some similarities here and there... But his was far more aweful. She almost felt like hugging him, when he was done, but she would restrain herself, not wanting to seem weird or anything... Again. I mean.. Poor guy. How could a person be so mean? Especially a member of your family.
"Well... Sorry to say, but that's hella aweful." she admitted, shaking her head. "Nobody should have to go through all of this. Really. I just... I don't get it" she said, looking at him with furrowed eyebrows. Come on! He was just a kid then! His parents had passed away, and his legal guardian was freaking abusive! Why in hell someone would be like this, she had no idea. And then, she kind of remembered the last thing he had said, and she smiled slightly. He'd tell her, if she wanted to know.
"Uhm... Well, I think you should keep some things for next time. Plus... I mean, you already told me alot. And thank you for that." she said, smilling at him. She hoped it felt good or something to get that off his chest... But then, maybe he wasn't like her and had told that story plenty of times. And yes, next time... Because she did hope this wouldn't be the only time she'd see him. It's not every day you got to meet a man like this Jared. And well, he had told her they could be lonely together, so...

When Jared told Elanora she should mess around with her ability a little, he wasn't sure what she would think to that suggestion. After all, having an ability like the one she had could be dangerous if you messed around with it. But sometimes, to get the full extent of your ability it was something you had to do. "Well, if you ever decide to give it a shot love, I don't mind being there." He had no real idea why he'd said that, he wasn't exactly wanting to be killed by having the air sucked out of a small room where he happened to be with her, if that was indeed the case, but he figured, she might like the support of having someone around, and why not him? They seemed to be getting on well enough.
When he suggested they could be lonely together, he noticed her staring at him for a few seconds, before she replied with a soft sigh saying it would be wonderful. Why the sigh? He couldn't help but think, then he wondered if she actually believed him. "Well, it sounds wonderful to me, so why don't we put it to the test then?" He asked, as he moved from sitting opposite her, and sat in beside her. "No point in us being lonely on our own, might as well be lonely together." He then tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, which he'd seen hanging loose.
He hoped she wouldn't mind him just changing seat like that, he just felt given the way the conversation was going, it was a natural thing for him to do. After he had commented on her past, she didn't say much to what he had said, so he decided to say something else, "And if you need someone to help, then why not start at me? Maybe once you hear my history, you might realise we could be good for each other." Whether that took them both down the wrong path, or along the right one, only time would tell.
He had then poured his heart out, telling Elanora the biggest part of his history as a child, and just like he didn't speak until she had finished speaking, Elanora done the same thing when he told her his past. When she did finally speak, Jared gave out a small sigh, and a weak smile. "Yeah, kind of thought that myself love. It turned me into a bit of a wanker, asshole to you, wanker is such a British word, but I can honestly say, I'd never hurt a child." He was feeling a little sad now, because he'd shared his past, but at the same time, it felt good to have shared it with someone who might actually appreciate what he'd gone through as a child. Not someone who would only a week later, rip out the First Daughter's unborn child in front of him.
Jared smiled at Elanora when she said that maybe he could tell her more another time, as he'd already told her so much and she thanked him for that. He had a feeling that might be her answer, and he wasn't too bothered, telling her what he had told, had drained him enough as it was. "Sure, and I can guarantee you, there will so be a next time, if you allow it." He winked at her then, and decided to scribble down his mobile number on a napkin which was on the table and passed it to her, "Your proof that there will most definitely be a next time." Next to his name and number, he had also written 'xoxox'.

Elanora looked at Jared, her eyes widening a bit. "Really?" she said, kind of... Surprised, yes. Shocked. The guy had stated himself, that what she was able to do seemed dangerous. And now he was offering himself to be with her when she wanted to try stuff? Okay. He was either insane... Or just overly nice. "Well, I guess that could work. Or something." she said, furrowing her brows a bit... Well, if she REALLY didn't want to hurt him, wich she didn't, it might work... And from what she could remember, when someone touched her, her ability was innefective on them. Or well, that one time it was...
She watched as he spoke, switching seats so her was now next to her.... And brushed a of hair form her eyes, tucking it behind her ear. She opened her mouth to speak, he cheeks probably turning to... Tomato red, and she smiled. "Yeah. Might be good for both our sanity." she replied, looking up at him. Good thing they both thought it sounded great... To be lonely together.
She shook her head a bit as he told her abouit how he had became a wanker after everything that had happened, and she shook her head a bit. "Well is there anyone to blame you? I mean, wouldn't everyone turn into one after all you went through?" she said, sighing again. She SURE would have turned into one of the worlds biggest bitch if this had happenned to her. Either that, or well, she would have went crazy on people. I mean, that WAs something hard to go through, it had to be.
He cheered up the mood, saying how there would be a next time, and then went to scribble something ona napkin. And as he handed it to her, she took it, reading it over, laughing slightly at it. "Yeah. I will." she said, smilling up at him. "But if I find out the number you gave me is fake, I will hunt you down, Jared." she said jokingly, giving a soft laugh as she folded the napkin, and put it in her pocket, careful not to tear it or anything. I mean... She WAS planing on giving him a call, when she judged was a good moment... But then, when was she supposed to call?!? Really! I mean... She didn't want to seem like a clinger or something... Oh well, something she'd have to think about another time!

Jared couldn't help but chuckle at Elanora's response to his suggesting he could be there whenever she wanted to test out her ability. He had for a second wondered himself why he'd suggested it, but everybody needed support at some point in their life, so why not Elanora as well? "Yes, really. Alright, so your ability might be dangerous, but if you don't mess around, how can you truly know what you can safely do and can't?" Hadn't she been able to mess with the air in her glass? And she did that without causing any damage, what harm could it do, to see just how much she really could do? "I don't honestly mind being there to support you love."
When Elanora agreed they should be lonely together, he gave her a bright smile. "That's the spirit love, better to be sane, than insane, or at very least, insane together." He laughed a little then. She was definitely a bit younger than him, but the more time he spent with her, the more he could see she was gorgeous, and wanted to get to know her more.
When he'd explained that what he had gone through had turned him into a bit of an asshole, he could only give her a weak smile at her response. However, it was nice to hear her say that, because it meant she understood, and nobody had completely understood him for a long time now. "Thanks love, thanks for understanding. It's been a while since anybody understood me and what I've been through."
He smiled brightly, when Elanora said she would allow for a next time to happen. It would be the first time he'd met someone, who was actually interested in meeting up with him again. Well, since Rayne, he shook his head, no, he wasn't going to think about that crazy bitch. It was time to move on, time to get on with his life, and time to become someone better, someone he'd been trying to become for the past few weeks now.
"Pleased to hear it." He had then written his number down on a napkin before passing it over to Elanora. He knew that it would probably mean she'd wonder how soon to call him, but he hadn't wanted to be forward enough to ask for her own number. Then she said if it was a fake number, she'd hunt him down. He rubbed his chin with his thumb and finger, before touching her nose with one of his fingers from his other hand, "I can guarantee you, the number is definitely not fake." He then lifted up her hand, and kissed the back of it, "Call me anytime you like, trust me love, I'd be quite happy to get a phone call. Last time, I sat by my phone for hours and got nothing." He chuckled then, as he knew it probably made him sound a little desperate, but he didn't really care, that's what had happened.
