Time and Space (Lexie Armstrong)

This day was just getting stranger by the moment. She really didn’t expect it to be this way. She was just looking forward to a regular day. However that regular day wasn’t going to be normal – not anymore as she had just found out she had an ability. That just seemed wonderful – she always wanted an ability but she wasn’t sure about it still.

Lexie then listened to Matt as he explained it further. She just nodded she really didn’t want to pay attention but obviously she was know. When he said that there was a documentary on abilities and that theoretically that she could be able to teleport. Bend space and time. Kind of crazy but whatever. She just looked at him with a confused looked.

The next thing she knew Matt wanted to try it out. She really didn’t want to try out her ability at this particular moment and time but this guy was a mimic so he could demonstrate the ability or so she figured. She listened to him as informed her that he was going to teleport to a desk. Lexie just nodded and watched him. The guy had done it!

“Awesome!!” she exclaimed as she wondered if she could try it. Then decide that she would try it later. “I think I’ll try it later shouldn’t be really messing with my newfound ability at this moment in time seeing how I have to get to work” she said smiling.

"Yeah... I 'd better get going too. I'm actually here to get the forms for my internship here." Matt said, smiling as he walked back to Lexie, happy that he had been able to help her out by showing what her power was capable of. It was something he also found useful, the ability to stop time. It seemed though to require intense concentration, so he would only use it when necessary.

"Alright, I'll probably see you around here then..." Matt said to Lexie, smiling as he turned around and began to walk away.

Lexie was grateful for Matt's help. However she was still kind of in shock about having an ability. But she figured it was better than nothing or what not. She then decided that it was time to go to work. She had spent god's knows how many minutes bull shitting with Matt. Not that she mind but she did have to get to work.

She smiled at him and nodded, "Yeah we'll probably see one another around" she replied as she headed towards her locker room to get ready for her day of work.
