30th June, 2009 The streets fluttered with trash and rubbish along its sides. The side walk all torn up and cracked. Yet nature has made this place still pretty. Trees flourished and flowers sprinkled throwout its pine green grass. Birds chirped as they flew above. The sky was light blue with snow white clouds blocking the sun. Eric stood in the center of the park gazing up at them. He felt a cool breeze coming from the north. How it felt so good agents his skin. He smiled and held his arms extending outward. (I've lost everything. I'm alone. Alone again.) He thought to himself. Harley was the one person who he felt a true connection with. She was gone and there was no one else. That girl who attacked Claire seemed fun but she was long gone by now. Eric had no way of finding her as he didn't even know her name. Eric walked over to a bench and laid down on it. He felt a newspaper beneath him. As Eric was about to take a nap he spotted something that looked of interest. A new reality show that caused people to face there worst fears. It put a smile on his face. The idea of people getting scared and screaming in horror, It was there own fault in the end however. They would sell there souls for cash if it was possible. It made Eric wounder. He put his legs up on the arm rest witch he used as a foot rest and folded his arms beneath his head. He closed his eyes and listened to the world around him. (Is there anyone out there that could take Harley's place? Would I find a powerful villain who would be Worthy to serve?) These thoughts bumped around in Eric's head. He had powers but didn't know what to use them for. Who to use them for. As time passed Erics drifted into a deep sleep. He unconsciously opened his eyes, now white and glowing with no signs of his pupil. He unzipped his jacket and pulled out a sketch book and begian to draw. Often a sign that something drastic was on its way. This power to paint the future not only gave Eric insight on what was to come it also guided him to accomplish the tasks set in the paintings and gave him something to do. When he finished the picture he passed out on the ground with the sketchbook on the bench. The picture was of a man Eric had never met before. It was Xavier looking down on him in the exact same position.

It had been several months now since he had met Rayne, and she had just suddenly vanished one day, more or less into thin air. She never left him a note or anything. Ah what did he care. He was a bad ass villain, he didn't need love in his life, right? Well, actually, everybody needed love at least once in their life. He had loved and lost, and was once again on his own. He had been enjoying his evil ways the past couple of months alone. He had felt a little suffocated by Rayne, and Xavier didn't like it. He loved women, evil women, but he liked them to give him space, not hanging onto him like he was some sort of limpet.
He had found himself in New Orleans, it was a new place, where he wasn't known. A new place to cause mayhem and havoc and not have his face suddenly known. He was now walking down a street, and saw a young couple in front of him, they were making out under a tree, he just realised how sickening it was to see such a scene. He couldn't care less if they were heroes or not, he couldn't stand the sight of them.
Using his telekinesis, he saw a piece of broken glass on the ground and lifted it up, and then used it to put a gash into both their necks, and they fell to the ground at the bottom of the tree in a heap. Oh the joy. He then stood and watched as their bodes soon became smothered and lying in a pool of blood, enjoying the scene, as if it had come straight out of Sweeney Todd. He threw his head back and laughed.
He then quickly left the scene, just in case anybody should come along, he didn't want his fun in New Orleans to end so soon. As he walked along the road however, he saw a figure lying on the ground. As he approached, he saw that it was a young boy. Well, he hadn't seen him before anywhere, but was he good or evil? You see Xavier didn't give a damn or care who he hurt or killed, man, woman, girl, boy, age didn't matter, so long as he was having fun. But something compelled him to not harm this boy. Like there was some lure toward him.
He stood above him looking down, he then bent down and touched his forehead with his hand, "You alright boy?" He then kept crouched down, to make sure he was alright. For some reason, he seemed to want this young boy to be alright.

Eric sleeping on the ground. Dreaming of some dark world were freaks rule and everyone who Eric ever hated was all there to torture and kill. It was a fun dream. However dreams arnt meant to last forever. Eric was suddenly awoken by a hand touching his forehead. Eric opened his eyes. Has he lost his awareness? Normally he could wake up when someone was just walking twords him. Yet the man got this close. Eric sat up and looked at him for a split second. Wondering who he was. Xavier asked if he was alright. Eric jumped up from the ground to the bench in some sort of martial arts movement. " Whats it to you?" Eric asked him with a angry look on his face.
Emotions ran threw his mind. Though he longed for a friend he wanted a fight. Something to distract him from the things that were bothering him. Eric was lost to the reason as to why this was even giving him so much pain inside. Why did it matter to him if they left him, alone and with none to trust. Could he trust again? He was starting to let this all build up inside of him and just wanted to kill something. Anyone would do. Eric formed a white ball of energy in the palm of his hands. He aimed it the man. " Why.... Why would you want to know if I'm OK? Who are you?" Eric questioned the man. People were staring at him as they walked by.
Eric glanced at the people. For some reason Eric didn't want to kill Xavier or hurt him but rather see who he was and why he took interest in the boy. Eric switched his targets. He fired off a white blast at one of the people looking at him. " WHAT! you want some of this!? " He shouted. He knew that he would have to kill them all. He couldn't let them walk knowing what he could do. Who he was. He forgot about them however. Focusing on the sketch. He jumped down from the bench. Picking up the sketch book eyes glued on it. Then he matched it up with Xavier. "Your the man in the painting. But are you here to kill me or are you my new master?" He asked the man.

Xavier had no idea why he was interested in this boys safety, he never really cared about anybody. Why would he? He loved to torture people, cause them pain and misery, so why was he caring if this boy was alright? It didn't make sense to Xavier and yet, he couldn't seem to bring himself to cause him any pain. There was something wrong here. Xavier then stood up as the boy suddenly jumped from the ground to the bench, like he was a frog or something.
The boy then asked what was it to him with an angry look on his face. Xavier just shook his head. "Actually, I have no idea." Xavier frowned then, why was he caring? No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find the answer to that question in his head and it was annoying the hell out of him. Xavier then saw the boy conjure a white ball, and aimed it at Xavier. He just laughed, and used his telekinesis to flick it away from his hand. "I wouldn't go messing with me boy. Again, I don't know. I've never cared about anybody before, well..." Apart from Rayne he thought to himself, and even then, he could have snapped her neck any time he wanted to, if she'd annoyed him. This boy was different, it was like something inside was telling him to look out for this boy.
"Something is luring me to you, compelling me to care about you and not hurt you." Xavier then watched as he took his anger and frustration out on some people who had walked past. Something Xavier may have taken pleasure in doing himself, but this boy got in before him. He began applauding him then. "I like it, you show guts and determination boy, you're a fiery little bastard, you and I might just get on well together." Although Xavier had no idea why he had just said that, and felt like mentally kicking himself. Xavier had always worked by himself. He had never worked with anybody, and what was more, he had never had anybody follow him. Not that he thought this boy was going to follow him.
At least the boys focus was no longer on himself, which pleased Xavier. Then the boy jumped down from the bench and picked up a sketch book, and Xavier looked and sort of recognised himself in the drawing before the boy spoke to him, confirming what he had just found out by looking at the drawing. "It would appear that I am the man in that drawing, I have no idea what I am to you, all I know is that when I saw you, I felt compelled to help you and not hurt you, even though I'd have killed you otherwise without giving it a second thought. Guess maybe that makes me your master." Xavier liked the sound of that, and couldn't help but laugh out loud after saying those last few words.
How good did that sound? He'd have someone following him around, who was willing and able to do anything Xavier asked of him? "Got a name then boy?" He asked him, and then something he didn't do very often, he gave the boy a smile. "Xavier Beckett here." He introduced himself wondering if it might make the boy open up to him a bit more. Although Xavier was still very confused as to what was happening here.

Eric somehow felt what this man was feeling. Of course at first he didn't want to admit it. Not to himself nor this man Xavier. But for some strange reason Eric felt like he didn't want anything bad to happen to Xavier. He felt like he resembled his old master Harley. Though they looked nothing alike. It was more then that. He could tell that Xavier was truly evil and enjoyed the life of a villain. That sense of animal instinct to kill and overpower was swarming around Xavier. It made Eric feel safe. He was attracted to this sort of feeling. Eric eyed him as he stood up.
As Eric had asked him why Xavier cared. He did not have an answer for him. His response was that he didn't know. Eric couldn't have known why but at this time he felt some unexplained pull toward him. Like they were both magnets of opposite sides who were drawn together. But when Xavier used his ability to flick the energy ball from his hands Eric watched the ball go flying with surprise. He now knew what this man was. He had a power. He was one of them. The man told him he shouldn't mess with him and that he never cared about anything before. Eric couldn't disagree with him there. He just smiled at him. It was a fact that Eric's normal targets were weak and could easily be overpowered but this man had proven himself worthy. Just by that simple display he has proven himself.
"You have her ability." Eric muttered relating him to Harley. Was this what he had felt before? Was it just his ability that reminded him of her? No. Something else was there as well. His presence and aura was that of a killer. That of overwhelming evil power and hatred witch inspired Eric was flowing around in this air. It comforted him. "Something is luring me to you also." Eric repeated the words of Xavier. Eric grew happy as Xavier applauded him for killing a few citizens. He gave a comment about how Eric showed guts and that they would get on well with each other. "I think so to Mr." Eric replied now with his playful childish voice.
He was beginning to have hope again. This man Xavier would be a powerful master that could do allot in this world. Eric saw something in him. He wanted to help him and decided he would pledge his soul to him. As Eric told Xavier he was the man in the sketch he suspected that Xavier would have thought he was crazy and lying to to him or something. But he didn't. Xavier agreed with the child. He said he felt like he wanted to help him and not hurt him. Lucky for Eric this was the case. If Xavier had wanted to he would have most likely had been able to kill the boy. He was passed out having little sleep for the past few days. He told him that he guessed he was his master but then laughed about it. Eric looked off to the side as if he had second thoughts.
From the laughter Eric couldn't tell if Xavier was laughing at Eric if he somehow knew what he would ask. Him being alone and seemingly desperate for a role model of sorts. Or if he was laughing at the idea that he himself could be seen in that sort of way. Eric didn't know what to make of it. He didn't know if he was making fun of him or the idea about if he could actually connect with someone like that. It was odd but Eric wasn't one to let things like this get to him. It could after all be a misunderstanding. He asked for Eric's name before introducing himself. Eric smiled.
Eric knelled down and bowed his head facing Xavier. "I Eric Soul, offer my life to you. "He stated his name." I will serve you for-filling your goals and fighting for your desires. Let me be an extension of yourself. My abilities are yours to use as a weapon. My body your shield. Should any harm come to you wrath and vengeance will be unleashed on are enemies. I am your weapon to wield as you see fit. From this day forward my power shall be your blade to wield. I vow to follow you as my master." Eric told Xavier and then stood back up and looked at him with a smile." Villains got to stick together. Well the cool ones anyway, the rest of them pushovers can die just as the heroes." Eric felt the need to add in that last bit after saying his pledge which he did every time a new master was found. Hopefully these two stuck together and it would be the last time he had to say those words.

Xavier glanced at the boy when he heard him mutter something about having her ability. He wasn't sure who the boy was referring to and wondered if he should question it or not. Then he thought, if something was luring him to this boy, that it be best to find out as much as he could. "I have whose ability boy?" He wanted to know if he knew of who the boy was referring to or not. Was she the person, or master he had followed before? And if she was as evil as he was himself, then why didn't he already know of her?
When the boy said something was luring him to Xavier also, he decided to give the boy a dark smile. So, what was luring the two of them to each other? There had to be something? Despite the fact they had abilities, which meant, there could very well be something else luring them to each other, but what? Were there other evil sources at work, putting the two of them together? Or was it simply just fate that Xavier came upon this young boy who reminded him so much of himself when he was that age.
After Xavier could mentally kick himself for saying he thought he and the boy would get on well together, the boy agreed with him. Well, he thought, if he was going to have someone do his bidding for him now, then they would have to put each other to the test so speak. "Well, we should see how we work together then boy." However, Xavier couldn't keep calling him boy, even if it did make him sound like he had the upper hand on the boy, sometimes it would be nice to be able to shout his name if he needed him and he was ahead of him in distance, if he shouted boy, he'd probably have a good few of them turning to face him.
Xavier had laughed not at the boy, but at the idea of having a boy look to him as a master, he had never been put in that sort of situation or position before, and Xavier as much as was now beginning to like the idea, also found it ridiculously funny he was going to be seen as a young boys master. The next thing to happen was, the boy kneeling down. Xavier looked down at him with a raised eyebrow, wondering what he was about to do.
He was going to tell him to get up, that there was no need to bow to him, but then the power running through Xavier, and the whole idea of having someone do his bidding for him, made him realise he quite liked this. So he just stood and let the boy say what he had to say. At least he now knew his name, Eric. When Eric was finished saying what he felt he had to say, he watched as he stood up and smiled at Xavier. So he gave him a sinister smile back, "Yes, we do indeed have to stick together. Very well then boy, welcome to my world Eric. Do you have a place to call your own boy?" He wanted to know, to find out if he was just going to be his master, or if he was to be his guardian as well, not that it would bother Xavier much, he could handle it. He was old enough after all.

Eric felt something truly dark and mysterious as Xavier glared at him. It was pleasing to the young child. Responding to Eric's comment about the same ability Xavier no doubt asked who he was talking about. Eric didn't want to bring her up but now it was a must. Eric looked down with a sad face. Remembering his old Friend. He didn't know how it happen but she left and abandoned him. Eric had to tell him something about her. "She..." He paused not knowing what to say. "I used to serve her before. She took me in and we became Friends. I've never had a Friend before her. Well come to think of it I've never had a friend after her as well." Eric emitted.
Eric was searching for a new master for some time now. Ever since Harley had brought her uncle in to the picture they grew apart and then never saw each other. Ever since there was talk of a girl who killed a unborn child. But Eric needed someone who would use there abilities any way and any how they wished. He loved that sort of thing. He considered himself a god who didn't need to bow down to the laws and rules of men. He has no morals for that type of thing and sees that if you have the power to do something then its ok to do it. Eric normally gets what he wants and he wanted a strong master. Had he found what he was looking for in Xavier? It could be that these could do more then they thought in there time together.
Xavier wanted to see how they worked together, Like a trial run or something. Eric was interested in this. He wondered what the task would be and how will they work together. Eric would try to prove his worth to the man. "\What do you have in mind for us to see how well we work together?" Eric asked as if he was thinking of ideas in his own head. So they could do a number of things. Steal, Murder, cause havoc and chaos. What did he have in mind to challenge there skills and connection? Eric didn't mind that Xavier kept calling him boy. Eric saw himself as a weapon anyway, He was a weapon for Xavier to use for what ever goals he had. Then Eric started to think about it. "What are your goals or motives you wish for us to accomplish?" Eric asked. "Do you have anything you want to do on your time here on earth?" Eric asked in a different way. He had to know his motives because Eric would be helping to accomplish them. Eric's motives was just to serve his new master. He had none of his own but if Xavier had none then he wouldn't really need Eric.
Xavier asked Eric if he had a place to call his home. Eric didn't want to tell the man that he was homeless. He was embarrassed about it. Even though he enjoyed sleeping outside and doing what ever he wanted he still felt like a good home base would have been nice. Eric shook his head no. "I just go were ever and sleep were ever I want." Eric responded.

Xavier didn't have much patience, or at least he never used to have much patience, but after he had asked the young boy who he was referring to, he noticed he didn't respond to him right away, so he began tapping his foot with impatience. He was about to ask him to spit it out, when the boy began to talk. He spoke about serving her, and how she had taken him in, and they'd become friends, but she was gone and he hadn't had a friend since. Xavier felt his heart melt a little, actually, was it? Or did he just have a touch of indigestion? Xavier's heart never melted, he wasn't the type. But he certainly felt moved by what the boy had said.
"Well, maybe, you might just have found yourself a new friend then boy." Xavier then gave him another one of his rare smiles. It would seem this boy might actually get to see a lot of those smiles, so long as they were committing evil together, then all was well as far as Xavier was concerned. The boy then asked what he had in mind to see how well they worked together. Xavier had to think about that for a short while. Then he saw a couple up ahead of them, making out at a tree. More or less like the couple he had just killed before meeting the boy.
He pointed to them, "There, those up ahead, let me see you take them out with no remorse." Xavier wanted to see what the boy could do, how much he could do, what abilities he possessed, and more importantly, just how evil he really was. Was he as evil as Xavier himself? Worse? Time would tell. If the boy took out the couple then he was worthy as far as Xavier was concerned. The boy then began asking him what his accomplishments were, and what he wanted to do with his time on earth. "There are two girls in particular, I hate with a passion, I once dated them, but they were weak, I want to get rid of them forever, but my sources tell me they have strong men in their lives, but it will not stop me from trying to track them down and end their lives. Plus, I just love creating general mayhem and havoc really."
Xavier told the boy how it was, although he wondered if he had gone a little too far with telling him about his two ex girlfriends he wanted out of the way, that was more of a personal vendetta, why bring the boy into it? Oh well, it was too late now, he had brought him into it, now he'd just have to wait and see what his response was.
When Xavier had asked Eric if he had a place to call his own, he waited for his response, and it was as he had assumed. "Well, now you do. You can stay with me boy." Xavier surprised himself with saying that, but like he had thought since he first saw the boy, something was compelling him to help this boy any way he could, and if that meant giving him a home along other things, then so be it.
"Ever heard of a musical called Oliver boy? Well there's one song in it, which reminds me very much of myself, its called My Name! It goes something like this;
Strong men tremble when they hear it! They've got cause enough to fear it!
It's much blacker than they smear it! Nobody mentions... My name!
Rich men hold their five-pound notes out -- Saves me emptying their coats out. They know I could tear their throats out Just to live up to... My name!
Wiv me Jemmy in me hand, Lemme see the man who dares Stop me. Taking what I may He can start to say his prayers!
Biceps like an iron girder, Fit for doing of a murder, If I just so much as heard a Bloke even whisper... My name! Bill Sikes...
Some Toff, slumming wiv his valet, Bumped into me in the alley Now is eyes'll never tally He'd never heard of ... My name!
One bloke Used to boast the claim He could take my name in vain... Poor bloke... Shame 'e was so green Never was 'e seen again!
Once bad -- What's the good of turning? In hell, I'll be there-a-burning Meanwhile, thing of what I'm earning All on account of... My name!
What is it? What is it? What is it?
Bill Sikes!...
Only, replace the name Bill Sikes with Xavier Beckett." And with that Xavier threw his head back and laughed He loved being an evil bastard, and now he had a fiery little bastard who would follow him, they were going to get on famously.
{ooc - song is from musical Oliver! I do not own the rights to this piece of writing - and Rocky - if you want anything explained, just let me know lol as it's broad Londoner accent from England}

Xavier told Eric that he might have found a new Friend and then gave him another smile. Eric simply returned the smile and then added "Cool." As he grew more and more egger to do some dirty work for this man. He knew that things would pick up soon. Xavier seemed interesting. He had something mysterious about him that Eric was unsure of. Could this man be another pushover villain with a power? Eric didn't think so but this thought crept inside of his mind. It was just the way Eric now had to think having disappointments in his last master. Everything was to good to be true now Adas.
Xavier pointed out a couple making out at a tree. He told him to take them out with no remorse. Eric gave him a devilish grin. It was clear that this was a test to see if Eric could stand on his own and also would allow Xavier to see him at work. It wasn't a test on how well they would work together though. Eric didn't care because he would do anything for Xavier now. But still he wanted to do something with him. He thought that it must be coming up later then now. Eric had to think of what would make Xavier see that he is truly evil and had some sort of skill.
Eric now had his thoughts on a plan that would showcase his abilities. He whipped out his sketch book. He hovered his hand over a small grenade. He hovered his hands over it as a white glow appeared in then the image on the page came to life. Eric took the Grenade and ran up to the male of the two targets. He pulled the ring before he reached them. He punched the guy in his face kicked the girl so she would fall back. He then shoved the grenade down the guys thought and levitated him into the sky were he blew up. Blood and body parts fell on top of his girlfriend and Eric. In a rain of blood and broken bones Eric smiled and held the girl down with his Telekineses. "Awe don't you want to play with me Missy?" Eric asked the girl in a friendly tone. He then pined her to the tree. Similar to how Sylar kills his victims. Al-tho Eric created a metal knife and cut the women on her wrists. Causing her to scream in pain.
He wasn't done with the girl. He stabbed her over and over again not any vital wound because that would end it to quickly. Eric wanted to here those screams some more. He turned back to Xavier and grinned at him. He was bathed in red from the blood but didn't care. He phased threw the girls body and ripped out her hart. Eric then walked back to Xavier covered in the blood leaving a trail of bloody foot steps behind him. "How was that?" He asked him as he reached his masters side.
After Eric asked what Xavier wanted to do with his time on earth he didn't expect the answer that followed. He figured that Xavier would love causing havoc and mayhem. It was just so fun and any villain enjoyed that. But revenge on his two ex girlfriends and on top of that the people around there lives. It was interesting. Eric never really hated anyone before that he wanted to kill. Of course Eric killed allot but it wasn't anything personal. He just did it for fun.
Eric nodded. "If you want them dead then I'll carve out there tombstones myself. There going to die now that you have me on your side. Because the two of us together.... well were unstoppable." Eric reassured Xavier. "Those fools wont know what to do." He added with a laugh like it would be a piece of cake. Xavier offered Eric to stay with him and live at his house, Eric bowed down to him. "Thank you." He simply stated. But then Xavier did something unexpected. He asked him if he had heard of this musical and then broke into song. Eric couldn't help but giggle at the lyrics and the situation in general. It was funny to him.
Eric clapped his hands as Xavier finished it was a evil song that fit Xavier to the T he didn't know what to say but he just blurted something out. "I liked it." That was all he could say. It was random but now Eric was thinking of a song that he would consider to be his theme song. But he couldn't seem to find one. He would dwell on this now until the topic changed.

When Xavier told Eric to show him what he could do, it was a test of sorts, to see just how evil he could be, before he could finally agree to work with the boy. Xavier wasn't used to working with anybody, least of all a young boy. So, if he could prove himself worthy in Xavier's eyes, then he'd be able to finally admit they could be a team. Xavier then watched the scene with much pleasure as Eric took out the couple without a second thought. He particularly liked the evil way he took out the guy, with a grenade. Seeing the guy's body explode into tiny pieces of flesh, bones and blood made Xavier feel all tingly inside. It really was a sight to watch.
When Eric attacked the girl next, Xavier could only laugh with glee at the way he attacked her, making it slow and causing her considerable pain before phasing through her and ripping out her heart. It was simply magical for Xavier to see. As Eric came toward him and asked him how that was, Xavier was already standing applauding him, with an extremely evil grin on his face. "That was wonderful boy, just wonderful. Although, getting yourself into the mess you just have, might not be too advisable, so always make sure you have clean clothes underneath, so you can discard the ones which get dirty." He was only saying this, because he didn't want Eric to be captured because he was seen to be covered in blood. After all, that would look suspicious to even the least suspicious people.
After Xavier had answered Eric's question about what he wanted, and he'd told him about his two ex girlfriends he wanted dead, Eric said he would carve out their tombstones himself. Xavier grinned at the boy, "Well, after that little display, I quite believe you." The both of them together, might very well be able to take out the strong men in their lives.
Xavier was happy when Eric seemed happy enough with his offer of having him live with him. If this boy was going to do his bidding for him, then giving him a home was the very least he could do. So when Eric thanked him, Xavier nodded his head in acknowledgment. Of course, not long after that, Xavier had burst into his little theme song. Not something Xavier did very often, but he resembled the song so much, that he couldn't help but sing it to Eric. He just gave an evil grin when Eric clapped his hands and said he liked it.
Now the real test of working together had to happen, as they walked along the street, Xavier saw a group of men coming out of a club, they were laughing and messing around. Xavier looked at Eric then, "So, ready to work together boy?" He then waited for Eric's response before speaking of a plan of action.
