July 25
Once Reefer Sullivan had helped his new friend Jake out of jail he made his way to the east coast. Now here he was in Manhattan sitting on a stoop watching people go by. This life was in turmoil with his inflections catching up to him. All he wanted was a sign that he was doing fine. That’s when she walked his way.
Isabella Martino, his one time coke loving friend, the two enjoyed drugs together. What she was wearing made him think she was now a biker chick or a kick ass hit women. “Ciao Bella.” He chuckled as he got up off the stoop making his way over to the women. He went in going to give her a hug but stopped himself for a moment eyeing her, nodding making sure it was all right before he continue to the hug. “How are you?” He questioned after the hug ended. “Its been wow years.” brushing a hand threw his hair he looked over at her.
She always made him think that he wanted a wife. Isabella was just a fun women to hang out with and sometimes it made him think he wanted someone like that for himself. He knew better than to make any moves or to even think that way about the younger women. Her father would kill him if he even had those thoughts.

Isabella left her apartment, wearing what could only be described as an outfit fit for a funeral, or a hit-woman or a Mafia daughter, someone who had contacts with dangerous people. Her sunglasses pushed against her skin firmly, her eyes secure behind the black glass, blocking out anyone who she didn't want to see. Bella had her hands in her knee-length leather jacket; the only skin she had showing on her entire body was her neck and the parts of her face her sunglasses didn't cover. It wasn't unusual, in fact she rarely ever wore colour. Being part of the Mafia, it wasn't appropriate to draw attention to yourself, even though wearing black all the time, you got some funny looks from some funny people.
Her high heels clapped along the pavement, she kept her eyes firmly ahead of her. Bella came to a sudden stop when she heard someone say her name, she lowered her sunglasses, her green eyes peering over her sunglasses. "Reefer?" She didn't smile. There was no emotion in her voice whatsoever. She nodded when he went to hug her, but didn't hug him back. "I'm fine, still clean..." Her eyes ran over his face for a moment, as he ran a hand through his hair. "See you're not, and yes it's been years." Bella tapped her foot impatiently, whenever she saw one of her old friends, one of her old 'coke' friends, she couldn't help but get the urge back.
It wasn't often she got the urge back so easily, but Reefer was someone she always had fun with, despite his bad reputation. He was one of the only ones to know about her Mafia family, he had been introduced to her father in her younger years, at one of the Mafia parties in which both her and Reefer were so high on coke, neither one knew what happened that night. Bella shivered thinking about it.

(ooc: so sorry I been having a lot of projects and my health is somewhat bad. I understand if you don’t want to do this thread anymore if so please pm Becca and let me know.)
He gave her a chuckle as she didn’t hug him back. “Well getting clean was half the battle.” Chuckling as he knew that didn’t make much sense coming from a man who was still high from last night’s endeavors. He could see her anxiety coming out, he had that effect on anyone who was clean or sober. “You look good.” Eyeing his way back up to her face he gave her a questionable look. “What do you think of redemption?” Putting his hands on his face he sighed. “I’ve done some bad things. What’s the first step to getting clean?”
He wasn’t sure if he really wanted the help or if he was just toying with Bella’s mind hoping he could get her to use again. This life was messed up, just by looking at his ruffled clothes anyone could see that. He bit on his thumb looking around the street searching for some answers. “Can you help me?” Did he really want to get clean? He wanted Sophie to trust him again and he wanted to make a family or at least find someone to love for more then one night. Was Reefer Sullivan really asking for Bella’s help?
