July 21st, 2009.
Bad days. HORRIBLE days.
Yes, Elanora wasn't immune to those. Oh, how she wished she was... But Life wasn't exactly that nice. Maybe if it was, then... She wouldn't have been where she was. Maybe she would have been with a friend, or at home, relaxing... Thank you, Life, for being such a pain in the ass... Yes, she was a bit ticked. But who was not to be....
When in the same day, in a 3 hours time span, you had lost your wallet, cut your finger while trying to cut some bread for a sandwich, and then found your wallet... Empty of any cash and credit cards!? 'Yeah, just my luck...' she thought, looking at the beigy-brown bandaid wrapped around the tip of her finger.
What was left to think... It could have been worse? Yeah. She had her actual bank/debit card in her purse form not taking the time to put it back in it's place in her wallet... And she had time to call mastercard to cancel her cards before any bad was done. Oh, and her finger wasn't sore anymore! Yes, keep telling yourself it wasn't all that bad, and make things seem better.
She rubbed her hands on her dark, pinstrip pencil skirt, smilling slightly to herself. What she must have looked like, sitting down on a wooden bench infront of some random busy building... But she was obvious ot her surrounding, thinking about her own little 'misery'...

Jack was in New York. It had been a while since everything with Noah Bennet and his people, all that...Jack shuddered slightly. Not something he particularly wanted to remember; he had tried to block off as much of that period of time in his memories as he could. After all that, he felt like it might be time to take some time off, so he had taken a long weekend and gone to New York - somewhere he hadn't been in years. It had been pretty relaxing so far, Jack thought as he walked along the New York street, Apollo trotting along beside him. He had Apollo on his leash, something he didn't often do, just because with so many people, it could be easy to lose him. Well, not relaxing exactly. But it was definitely a good trip so far. Jack walked past a woman sitting on a bench, and would have kept walking, put Apollo hung back and was licking the woman's hand. Jack backtracked slightly. "Come on, Apollo," he urged. "I'm sorry," he apologized with a grin to the woman. "He does this." [OOC: In case you didn't know, Apollo is his dog, the one in the banner. FYI. ]

Elanora looked at people as they walked by her, talking over their cellphones, always so busy. The young woman shook her head, sighing softly. What was up with people those days?! They all did nothing but work work and work some more. didn't they have a life out of their job? didn't they have a wife, a girlfriend, children, friends to go to? How come they couldn't get some off time, even if only for their lunch break?!
Furrowing her brows a bit, she looked down to her black, high-heeled shoes, before seeing something white passing by her... And then feeling something wet on her hand. She blinked, looking at the dog that was licking her hand, and she laughed slightly, quirking a brow. Her eyes went up from the dog to it's owner, who was apologizing about what had just happened. "Apollo." she said softly, letting her fingers rubs the dogs white, soft fur on top of it's head.
"Oh don't worry. No need to apologize." she said, smilling to the man who owned the dog. "Not like he bit me or anything." she said, before looking back to the dog, laughing slightly. Ah... she kind of wished she had a dog. Then, she wouldn't feel so alone in her bigm, cold appartment. But she was just a airhead, she was scared she'd forget to feed him or something if she had a dog. "Nice dog you got there." she added, smilling slightly.
