Tonya smiled when Lance said 'okay' with regards to calling her if he ever got the impulse to go anywhere, but she had forgotten to actually give him her mobile number, even though she knew she would have to give him it. So when Lance said he would have to get her number then if he was to contact her, she felt her cheeks flush bright pink. This led her to put her hands up to her face, "Well, now, that was really silly of me to suggest you call me, and not give you my number." She then began to giggle, and shake her head, which made her hair fall over her face. Once she had calmed down, still grinning, she began to recite her number to him. "202-555-3478. I can't believe I forgot to give you my number." She began to giggle again, but only for a few seconds until she managed to gain her composure once more.
When Lance once again confirmed that he wasn't like other guys and age was not an issue, she smiled brightly at him, while her eyes sparkled. "I can see that and it's great." She playfully nudged into him. For all Tonya might be bright and bubbly, she wasn't exactly immature either, in fact, she was quite mature for her age, apart from the giggling, but she didn't put that down to her age, she put that down to being a girl.
Not long after they had passed her cousin Brendan's massive mansion type house, she pointed out the park and asked if he was happy to walk through it, or take the long road round. She smiled as he said he was happy to walk through the park. "Awesome, it's a great park." The park was full of flowers, and several ponds with ducks and swans, and there was a children's play area also. Not to mention a few benches around the ponds, and large grass areas with picnic benches. Just as Tonya began to lead the way into the park, Lance asked whose house it was he was staring at.
He had went on to mention not knowing a celebrity house if it was in front of his face. Tonya didn't want to make fun of him, so she kept her laughter in this time, even though it was killing her to think her cousin Brendan was some sort of celebrity, when the most famous thing about him was being Assistant Editor of The Chronicle newspaper. "Tha' house don' belong to anybody famous, well, not really, he might like to think he is, ma cousin Brendan stays there. He's got this awesome Texan accent, actually ya'll probably find ma accent's a bit all over the place, that's because I'm actually Canadian, but since moving here, I've sorta stolen his accent at times." Tonya began to giggle again then. Wondering how she must sound to someone like Lance when she spoke. Even though she wasn't always aware of it, she knew she did it, as she had been told often enough.

Lance saw Tonya blush slightly, when he mentioned that he would have to get her phone number, he gave her a warm smile. Then she commented. When she giggled, Lance slowly shook his head. "It's okay." Then Tonya gave him her number. Lance slowly put in her number as she said it, then he looked at it, and hit save on his phone. "Okay, thanks Tonya. I will be sure to maybe add you to my speed dial I think as well. So I can quickly call you if I need to go anywhere." Lance gave her a grin, then put his phone back into his pocket. It was kind of nice to have her phone number in his phone. Pity she didn't have mind control, so that maybe if he was thinking of going somewhere, then he could just think it and she would be there.
After Tonya commented about the park, Lance looked over at the park, and he could see that there were flowers. Maybe he could pick a few to maybe give to Tonya, a beautiful flower for a beautiful girl. Well, she was beautiful in his eyes, then wondered where that all came from in his mind. Maybe he got the talent like his brother, in regards to words. Lance then wondered if he should tell Jackson that he might be able to help with writing lyrics for C-PAX.
Lance turned and listened to what Tonya was saying about the mansion and who's it was. He had to smile at what she was saying. Lance hadn't spoken to that many girls, but he could tell that Tonya was one who liked to give explanations in a round about way. "Cool. Well, I am sure that he is nice, as it has been great hanging with you so far. And don't worry about the accent. I can understand you." Lance nudged into her slightly. "Let's get going. Want to see what sort of music you like to listen to." Lance grabbed her hand, after checking the traffic and lead the way to the park. He couldn't wait to pick one of those flowers and put it behind her ear.

Once Tonya gave Lance her number, he thanked her, mentioning that he might add her to speed dial so that if he ever wanted to go anywhere he can call her quickly. She moved some hair away from her eyes then, and smiled brightly at him. "Well, that will be good, and remember, everything is an option, even a history or future lesson." She raised her eyebrows then and followed it through with a laugh, she was of course referring to being able to take him to the past or the future. Something she was able to do with her ability of Space-Time Manipulation.
Tonya was glad Lance seemed happy enough to go through the park to get to her house. It was a nice park, in Las Vegas, it seldom mattered the time of year, the weather was always usually fairly warm. Unless you had some mad weather manipulator losing their cool and the weather suddenly changed in drastic measures. Tonya was referring to her older cousin Brendan, he had done it a few times from what she could remember.
Before they got a chance to get into the park however, Lance had asked who the massive house belonged to, thinking that it might have been someone famous. Tonya then went into a lengthy explanation about the house belonging to her older cousin Brendan. "He is real nice, teases me a lot though, calls me Smiley, ain' sure why though." She giggled a little again then, she did know why, he called her that because she was always either smiling or giggling around him. She loved her older cousin heaps, well you would, if they gave you blank cheques to go spoil yourself, and Brendan had done that for her often.
Lance then told her not to worry about her accent, he could understand her and nudged into her a little. A blush came over her then. "I'm pleased ya can understand me." Tonya was definitely liking Lance, there was just something, very, lovable about him. He was approachable and seemed easy to talk to. That hadn't happened often to Tonya when she met guys. Lance then prompted for them to get going. "Sure." Lance then grabbed her hand, which made her blush again slightly, but it did feel nice. She then began to walk him into the park.
Soon they were walking through the flower garden, on one side there were roses of all different colours, and on the other, there were pansies, daisies, daffodils and tulips and various other flowers Tonya had no idea the name of. Just beyond the flower garden was the rather large pond, with ducks and swans, and a little further on from there was the children's play area. Of course it was really meant for the younger kids, but Tonya had been on the swings plenty of times. She loved having a laugh on them, seeing how high she could go.
She knew that guys didn't usually dig things like flowers, but she couldn't help but say, "It's gorgeous ain' it? I mean the park as a whole, sometimes I just love sittin' on the bench an' watchin' the ducks and swans swimmin' around." Although, she knew that Lance wanted to know what music she liked, so she didn't expect to sit around right now. "From here, it's only another five minutes through the park, if ya wanna we can sit on the bench for a while, otherwise we can just get goin' to ma place." There went the constant change of accent again and once more being totally oblivious to it. Maybe she had to stop spending so much time with Brendan.

Lance raised his eyebrows then, when she mentioned about everything being an option, then mentioning 'even a history or future lesson'. He instantly got what she meant, but wasn't sure about doing any of that. Did he really want to see what he would be like, or what his life would be like in the future? What if he didn't like what he saw? What if he didn't like how his life panned out in the end? What if he didn't have much of a future at all? No, he thought as he shook his head, he definately would not do the whole future thing. "Cool Tonya, but not sure if I could do the whole future thing. Like to stay in the here and now I think." Lance was curious, but decided against feeding that curiosity.
Lance listened as Tonya spoke about her cousin, who lived in the mansion. He kind of chuckled then, when she didn't understand why, but he could see she knew why, but he just along with it. "I have no idea why that could be." Lance shook his head, knowing that that smile and giggle of hers was infectious. "That nickname might just stick with everyone then." He hadn't used nicknames with anyone, but that one really suited Tonya to a T.
Just feeling Tonya's hand in his own, after he initiated the hand holding this time, felt good. It seemed natural as well, like they had been holding hands for a long time. But they really had only known each other that afternoon, and not for as long as it felt like. They soon began to make their way through the park, heading through the part where there were all types of flowers. Flowers were flowers to Lance, being a guy, but noticed them all individually, liking the bright colours of the flowers.
Lance stopped as Tonya mentioned the flowers, and then spoke about what she liked to do when she was here in the park. He nodded, and looked at her, but also bent down, and picked a white flower, which looked to him to be a daisy, holding it in between his fingers, twirling it slightly. "The park is awesome, but I think the company is even better." He then walked over to her, and reached behind her ear, placing the stem of the flower there. "Now the company looks gorgeous. More beautiful, but still nothing compares to the company's beauty." Lance then smiled at Tonya, mear inches away from her, and wondered again where all that had come from. Surely all of Jackon's charms were not rubbing off on Lance, were they?
He felt his feet were planted on the ground, not making him move from his current position, but finally they let him move back slightly, to give Tonya her personal space. "I think I would like to continue on to your place if that is okay." Lance turned to pick a few more of the daisies, handing the small bouquet to her, and then gently taking her hand, waiting for her to lead the way.

When Tonya had told Lance they could have a history or future lesson, she wasn’t sure how he would take it, as not a lot of people liked dabbling with time. Tonya herself had actually never been to the past or the future, but she had wondered what it might be like, especially the past, seeing how things used to be. Like a virtual history lesson. So when Lance replied, she gave him an understanding smile. “No worries, ain’ many people like seeing their future. Although it would more be showing you the future of our country, your State, then the future of yerself, but that’s fine, no pushin’ from me.” There was really only two things she used her ability for, one was to teleport anywhere she wanted and the other was to freeze time or slow it when necessary.
When talking about Brendan and the nickname he had for her, Tonya had joked saying she had no idea why he called her Smiley, even though she really did. She had to laugh all the more when Lance agreed, saying he had no idea, but he too was laughing. He then mentioned that the nickname might stick with everyone. “Well, I ain’ got anything against anybody using it, so used to it now, sometimes I forget ma name’s really Tonya, well Tonya Jaime, some people call me TJ, which is alright too, but dunno, guess I just prefer Tonya to TJ the older I’ve got, although I love when Brendan calls me Smiley.” She giggled again then, as if she was confirming the reason why she got called Smiley.
As they walked through the park, Tonya couldn’t help but think how good Lance’s hand felt in her own, was she really falling for this guy? It would seem so, she had only ever had one other boyfriend and that was Stephen Adams from the future, but he had decided to just head back to his own time one day and never told her. She was devastated, because she actually really liked him, it took her a couple of months to get over him. Although, looking at Lance, if something was going to happen between them, she was beginning to think she was better off with him, than she ever would have been with Stephen.
As Tonya told Lance what she liked to do when she was in the park, she saw him bend down and she wondered what he was doing, but she soon realised he was picking up one of the flowers, one of the daisies. He stood twirling it in his fingers, as he said the park was awesome but the company was even better. Tonya felt a slight blush come over her then. “Thanks Lance.” She gave him as bright a smile as she could. Then he stepped closer to her, and put the stem of the daisy behind her ear. She immediately felt her face blush all the more, and then he spoke those words, which made her blush furiously. In fact she was pretty certain the glow went from her head to her toes. Nobody had ever said such a thing to her before. In fact, she was so blown away by the compliment, she felt a lump in her throat, and a stray tear began to fall. She wiped at it sloppily and giggled, “Sorry, I’ve just never had anybody say something so nice to be like that before.” He was so close to her, and still hadn’t moved, she so wanted to just close the gap and kiss him then, but being a girl she seriously didn’t want to take the initiative.
Tonya had then asked if he wanted to sit on the bench for a while or just head to her place, he replied saying he’d like to just head to her place and then he bent down to collect more daisies and handed them to her, before gently taking her other hand. Tonya held the other daisies and looked up at him, because he was taller than her, “Thank you. You’ve been so nice to me, I feel like some sort of princess or something.” She then quickly headed toward her house, which really wasn’t that far away now. They were out of the park within about five minutes, and once they turned right, her house was in front of them, across the road. “Well, here we are, just across the road.” Tonya continued to lead the way, and tried the door handle, but the door was locked, and she knew nobody would be in, and realised she had forgotten to lift her keys. “Damn, I forgot to lift ma keys, and I know everybody is out. Gonna have to teleport us in there.” Tonya closed her eyes briefly, it shouldn’t be too much of a problem actually, visualising her room, and then in a flash they were no longer outside her house, but in her bedroom.
Tonya’s bedroom was pretty much average for a female, it was full of pastel shades, some soft toys, and everything neat and tidy, but definitely a lot of girlie stuff around, such as make-up, and clothes, there were a pile of magazines, and the book she was currently reading by her bedside table, ‘New Moon’ by Stephenie Meyer, it was the second time for reading it. She loved that series of books so much, Tonya was simply the romantic at heart really. “Anything in particular you wanna listen to?” She asked, as she switched her CD stereo system on, and then sat down on the bed, indicating with her hand for Lance to sit down. “I’ll be back in a minute.” She then lifted a vase from the hallway, and filled it with water from the bathroom, went back into her bedroom and put the daisies into, and sat them on her bedside table. She then sat down on the bed, and reached for the remote, laying back against the pillows, making herself comfortable.
“So have ya decided what ya wanna listen to yet?” Tonya’s music taste was pretty much general other than rap and hip hop, she then looked at Lance and smiled, waiting for a reply.

Lance had never thought about going into the future to see how the country was. All he had thought of was seeing his future, which he was inclined to see at all. "Hadn't really thought about that. Just thought you were getting at seeing my future. I think that I will leave that to how my life goes after today." The whole talk of nicknames made Lance smile. Then Tonya mentioned about the different variations of her name, and he had to agree with what she was saying. "I understand about wanting your real name to be used as you get older. Though can't really do a lot with my name, unless you are my brother, who calls me Bro a lot." At least his brother's name you could make other names out of it, but Lance, nothing really stuck. He was always called just Lance. Lance saw that blush after his comment about the park and the company. She thanked him, and he saw that blush and smile of hers. It was rather cute if he did think so. But then the things he said to her, after putting the daisy behind her ear kind of blew him away. Definately Jackson's charms were rubbing off on him. He hadn't meant to let them all come out, but it was like word vomit, spilling out. He noticed her blushing a lot, and he wondered if he should apologise for what he said. But really, he wasn't sorry. Tonya was gorgeous. Lance looked at her a little, and saw a tear escape down her cheek. He gasped slightly, wondering if what he said had been the wrong thing, but then she spoke. Lance put his hand on her arm, "It's okay. I don't know where that all came from. Well maybe I do, and it is all true, if I am being honest." Lance then finally stepped back, and Tonya asked him if he wanted to sit or continue onto her house. He had obviously said that he wanted to continue onto her house, then picked and handed Tonya the small bouquet of flowers from the garden. After taking her hand, she looked up at him, leading Lance to look down at her. "You are welcome. And you and any other female should be treated like a princess. You are the fairer sex, and should be treated right." Here goes my mouth again, thought Lance. They then headed towards Tonya's house. Soon enough after five minutes, they were standing across the road from her house. Lance let Tonya lead the rest of the way, and they were soon standing outside the main door to the house. He watched as she tried the door handle, which seemed to Lance to be locked. Lance raised his eyebrows slightly when she said that she would have to teleport them in the house. He was sort of used to it now, and soon they were no longer outside, but inside a bedroom. Probably Tonya's bedroom. His eyes roamed over the room, noting the very shades of colours, and some soft toys. So she likes that sort of thing, thought Lance, making a mental note of that. Lance then eyed off the magazines, which was probably the most obvious thing for a girl her age to read. But then he saw the book she was reading. He had never read it himself, but he wondered what the movie might be like. Lance wondered if he was going to be too forward in asking if she wanted to see a movie, but knowing her she had already seen the movie a million times with her friends. Why would she want to see it again? Lance soon realised that Tonya was speaking to him. "Oh sorry. Um, not sure." He saw her gesture for him to sit on the bed, which he did, eyeing off her cd collection. Tonya then said that she would be back in a minute. Lance nodded, and continued to look at what she had in her collection. One artists caught his eye, leading him to take the cd out of the stack. As Lance looked at the back of the case, he saw Tonya come back with a vase for the daisies he had picked. He smiled to himself, thinking that they really suited her room now. Just as Lance was about to hand her the cd case, he watched Tonya sit then lay back into the pillows. Tonya then asked him if he had decided what he wanted to listen to. "What about this one?" Lance stood up and walked over to her stereo, placing in the Taylor Swift cd. Soon the first track " Tim McGraw" came on, and Lance came back to sit on the bed, and looked at Tonya. "Good choice?"

{ooc - sorry again for delay}
Even once Tonya explained she meant seeing their country in the future as opposed to his personal future, Lance still didn’t seem too keen on the idea. This was fine, not everybody liked to delve into their future in any manner. Tonya gave him a bright smile, “No problem, but if you ever change your mind...” She trailed off, and smiled even more, she didn’t need to add the rest of that sentence, if he changed his mind, he knew who to ask; it was obvious.
Tonya grinned, “Bro huh? Hardly original, but yeah, ya don’t have the right kinda name to shorten, do ya? I sometimes get sis from my brother. There ain’ nothing wrong with your name though Lance, I like it.” Tonya gave him another bright smile then, she began to let her mind wander slightly, as she thought about what their names would be if they did become a couple, like they do with celebrity couples in magazines. She began to giggle a little to herself, then not wanting Lance to think she was laughing him, “Sorry, just had a silly thought going through my head about our names, I’m not laughing at you.” She didn’t want to offer what was going through her head, but if he were to ask, she would probably just tell him.
It wasn’t long after this Lance had put a daisy behind her ear saying some very nice words Tonya had never heard said to her before. Of course she had blushed, and a single tear had fallen also, she had apologised sloppily wiping the tear away. She smiled when he said it was alright, and he didn’t know where it had all come from, and then added that maybe he did and it was all true. Tonya was able to keep the blush at bay this time and grinned at him instead. In fact she had a massive grin on her face, she was simply glowing and for some reason for that second she was lost for words. Finding her voice eventually, she managed to say, “Thanks.”
Once Lance had given her the other daisies he had picked and she thanked him for treating her like a princess, they had begun to walk and when Lance spoke again, Tonya had to stop another blush; she had never been given so many compliments in such a short space of time before. “You do have a way with words Lance; it’s really nice of ya to say such things.” Lance was such a nice guy, that Tonya certainly wouldn’t say no to him being her boyfriend, and it looked like it might just turn out that way. “You’re gonna make a great boyfriend for the right girl.” Had she really just said that out loud? She had, damn. Oh well, it was the truth, and at least she hadn’t used herself as an example, she smiled at him brightly.
It didn’t take long after this for them to reach Tonya’s house, and after realising she had forgotten her keys, she teleported them into her bedroom. Tonya soon asked if there was anything he preferred to listen to, she noticed he didn’t answer her right away, following his gaze he seemed to be looking at her book. Lance then apologised and said he wasn’t sure what to listen to. “Oh, yeah I’m a romantic at heart, I’ve seen the movie a couple of times, but by myself, out of the friends I do have, none of them are fans of it. Could watch it again and again, but don’t really wanna go see it alone again.” She sighed gently and changed the topic, “Anyway, have a look at what you might want to listen to and I’ll be back in a minute.” That was when Tonya went to get a vase for the daisies, and she was soon back in her room again placing the vase on her bedside table.
Tonya then sat on her bed and lay back on the pillows without even thinking about taking a CD off of Lance if he’d chosen one. Lance then asked her about one, and stood up and placed it into her stereo returning to the bed to sit down and asked if it was a good choice. She grinned, “A very good choice, Taylor is one of my favourite singers.” Tonya then gestured with her hand so he could sit back on the bed with her, she just had a sudden impulse to want to lay her head on his shoulder, as she waited to see if he would do as she gestured she gave him a warm smile, “Ya know, I’m really glad I met ya.” He was such a nice guy and seemed to say all the right things, what wasn’t there to like about him?

Lance nodded, as Tonya commented about his name. Though when Tonya commented more, saying that there was nothing wrong with his name, saying she liked it, he smiled. "Thanks. I think it is my Grandpa's name or something. Or a distant relative who mum liked or something, I can't remember. I suppose it is better than some names I have heard." He then frowned a little, when he heard her giggle. As Lance raised his eyebrows, Tonya spoke. "Okay." But he wondered what she was getting at. They had only just met, but Lance had to agree that she was fun to be around, even if they had just met that afternoon.
Lance shrugged a little, when Tonya said he had a way with words, and it was nice of him to say such things. "Well, I mean them. Never lie, and never want to start that habit." Tonya then added that he was going to make a great boyfriend for the right girl. He smiled, and hoped so. "Well, now it is my turn to say that it was nice of you to say that. And I hope so to, though haven't had much luck in that department, yet. But still have time." Lance smiled more at Tonya, and remembered how it had felt with her hand in his, and their constant conversation, that never let up. It just seemed right for them to be like this for now, and Lance wondered if they might end up being an item. But maybe not, as long distance relationships never work out. Well, that is what he has heard and read.
Lance just smirked a bit, liking that she was a romantic at heart, hearing her talk about seeing the movie a couple of times. He then looked at her seriously, wondering why she had seen the movie on her own. Maybe it wasn't his cup of tea, but surely there was someone out there that she knew who had wanted to see it. "I don't think I have gone out to see a movie on my own. I always want to go out and see one with at least one other person." Then Lance had an idea. "Well, if it is still showing, maybe I could take you. Would hate for you to miss out on seeing it for a third time." Lance then smiled, somehow feeling that she did truly love the movie enough to see it again, and this time with someone.
Lance then chose the cd, and placed it in the cd player, asking her if it was a good choice. He smiled brightly at her, when she said that it was a very good choice, as Taylor was one of her favourite singers. "Okay good, as I would hate to have chosen the wrong cd for right now." Lance moved back onto the bed, but didn't lay down next to her, but rested his back against the head of the bed. He looked down at where she was, and listened to what she said. "Me too. This afternoon would have been down right boring if we hadn't of met. I was about to head home when I ran into you. If I wasn't here, I would have just been sitting at home doing nothing."
