Rebekah had to laugh a little when Jacob said he liked those kinds of rides but doing it spontaneously would be kind of scary. Well that’s exactly how she saw it and she usually always had to do it rather spontaneously, as it was always when she had to suddenly escape out of the way, and nowhere to go but down. “I actually kind of like those rides myself in honesty, but then I’ve usually got someone with me, so it’s not so uneasy if you get me. Haven’t actually been to a funfair in such a long time now.” In fact the last time she had been to one, was with Luke and it had all gone wrong when she was captured by Xavier. She quickly got that thought out of her head, although she did begin to wonder if she should tell Jacob about Xavier, but maybe that could wait for another conversation they might happen to have, she didn’t want to bring the night down when she was having such a good time.
Rebekah had then said she was glad that he was like her, with regards to having an ability, when Jacob replied saying it wasn’t silly and went into an explanation of his own friends, she felt even more relaxed. “I mean if I were to meet a human, I would like to become their friend if we got on well enough, just that I feel more comfortable around our own kind.” She had no idea why she said, because it was more or less what she had just said seconds before only put in a different way. She was beginning to repeat things and ramble, that usually only meant one thing with Rebekah, she was really beginning to fall for Jacob.
When they spoke about the secret service guys Jacob told her to just get one when she felt it was really necessary and then made a comment about them being the third wheel on a date and it not being a very good thing. She couldn’t help but laugh, because what he was saying was so very true. “If I really think it necessary, I will, just so you don’t worry so much, but yes I have to agree, no secret service guys on a date.” She shook her head and made a pretend gagging gesture with her finger in her mouth before laughing again. That was just Rebekah’s way of saying she really didn’t like the idea of having a third wheel on a date they may happen to have anytime.
Rebekah couldn’t believe she had said something so, well bad, well, it wasn’t bad, just wrong, it wasn’t even wrong either, she just hadn’t thought about what she was saying. Why could so many things be misconstrued, it wasn’t fair. She felt her face blushing furiously, and then of course she added in the words about the private concert, and as she watched him through her embarrassment, she could see that glint in his eye and she knew he was thinking the same thing herself. However, after Jacob replied saying why not, Rebekah couldn’t help but burst out laughing. “I am so sorry, I should be more careful how I word things.” She then leaned in ever closer to him again and whispered into his ear, “Not that I would say no to the other, when the time was right.” She then pulled away a bit, grinning at him cheekily, as she bit down on her bottom lip her eyes sparkling.
When Rebekah had asked Jacob how he planned to make her little crush come true, she saw him sitting back and put his hands together in front of him, and then wondered what he was going to say, so when he did reply, she grinned at him. “Alright, well, I’ll look forward to finding out as the night goes on.” Rebekah was never usually a forward girl, but she had it bad for Jacob, and if need be she would give him a slight nudge, but with the way he had been acting with her so far, she didn’t really think she would have to do that.
When Jacob said he had no idea there was a band and the distraction was welcome, she grinned at him again. “I am glad you see me as a welcome distraction, I can safely say the same thing about you.” Not that she had been there for the band either, she was just wanting a bit of alone time, she hadn’t bargained on finding a lovely guy like Jacob who might just become her next boyfriend if she was lucky, especially given that he was from New York, how more luckier could she get, when she was in a different State, and met a guy who just happened to be from the same State as herself. She smiled warmly when she felt him give her hand a bit of a squeeze, and they continued to walk outside.
Rebekah had then said it was a perfect night, and how it was a perfect end to a perfect night with the perfect guy, she smiled as he replied until he got to the bit about the perfect guy, not agreeing with her that time. He wasn’t perfect by any means and had his flaws like the next guy. “Well maybe, they do say nobody is perfect, but in my eyes you are.” She then felt Jacob let go of her hand and wrap his arm around her waist. She had been enjoying holding his hand, but couldn’t deny having his arm around her waist felt a whole lot better. She felt her heart beginning to beat a little faster, wondering if this was going to lead to the moment where he might kiss her, something she had been waiting for, for the past half hour or so.
Soon she felt Jacob stop and then turned to face her with both his arms around her waist, she felt her heart skipping a few beats wondering what was going to happen next, but she didn’t have to wonder for too long when he spoke saying that it might be the right time to make her crush a reality. She let out a small gasp then, and put her hand up to her heart for a brief second, before Jacob leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. For such a soft kiss it was amazing, and Rebekah soon moved her arms to around his neck loosely, and kissed him back just as softly, not wanting to be too forward by slipping her tongue in but opened her mouth slightly, to let him know she was open to the idea.
