Juliet couldn't help but grin widely when Marcus said she was indeed worth it. She got that butterfly feeling in her stomach too, one that made her feel as if she were weightless. Nudging him was probably not the best idea, she nearly knocked herself flying. She recovered by laughing and standing back next to him. But before she recovered herself fully, Marcus lifted her up and over his shoulder. She laughed and squealed hysterically, "Jeebus Marcus! LET ME DOWN!" She was so out of breath from giggling that when he swung her around back down to the ground she had to bend over for a moment and catch her breath. Of course, she shouldn't have let her guard down, as he started tickling her sides. She squealed again, grabbing his hands with her own and trying to force him off. Bit of a silly idea really, he was so much stronger than her.
Once Marcus did let go of her, she felt her heart beat faster and faster. Juliet's wide brown eyes looked up at him as she laughed, she shook her head at him, grinning widely. "You nearly killed me!" She exclaimed laughing loudly. Once again she bent over to get her breath. Marcus apologised to her, stating she was just 'so damn cute and irresistible.' Jules composed herself and placed her hands gently on her hips, "Well you're one to speak Marcus. I bet I know where you're ticklish... but I of course can't say it out loud," Jules pretended to flick her non-existant long hair and turned her head over her shoulder to look at him, "I'm a lady after all." She winked but couldn't help but burst out laughing. She loved this, being herself around someone. It was so different than the way she usually acted around people.
The two of them reached the boxing hall within a matter of minutes after the teasing process. Jules pulled her membership card out early and began waving it around as if she had pixie dust. They're encounter with Candice was brief but Jules couldn't help but whisper to Candice that Marcus was indeed a keeper. She had never met a man like him. Jules didn't realise she had said it so loudly and turned to face Marcus with her eyebrows raised and her lips turned up into an innocent smile. Marcus told her he thought she was a keeper too and she grinned at him and ran away through the doors. She didn't need to say anything, she just said everything to exclaim how much she liked him.
Jules ran straight to Joe, the ginger giant. Marcus followed behind her swiftly. She loved the chemistry between the two men, they were so teasing each other, yet it was playful, there was no spite behind it. Jules truly felt herself around them, as if she had known them for years. Marcus then pointed at his face, Jules reached up and gently grabbed it with her little hand, "See! How gorgeous is that?!" She let go, still laughing at the pair of them. Of course Jules did hear Marcus say 'potential', but she was just too shy to say anything about it. Instead her cheeks turned crimson and she ended up hanging her head and biting her lip. She felt like school girl.
Jules suddenly felt bad about mentioning the ladies changing room, she had seen the cleaner; a little Chinese woman who obviously loved her job but was just too slow to clean everything at once. "Maybe just hire some more help? That little old lady is so sweet! She gave me a fortune cookie last week!" Jules pulled the fortune out of her jeans pocket. 'Do not fear someone new coming into your life. They will bring you love and happiness.' Jules placed it gently in Marcus' hand and smiled at him. She realised, if anyone had come into her life this week, it was Marcus, and he had already brought her love and happiness. She could quite happily be with him all the time, and never want him to leave. As she was about to run to the changing room, Jules heard the two teens in the ring taunt her. Jules could stand up for herself, she had a right mouth on her sometimes, but she didn't have to say anything really. Marcus stepped up. She heard his voice change from the soft, flowing Irish to the sudden angry Irish she had heard in the pubs in Dublin. "Yeah damn right! I'm small guys, but I'll teach you both a lesson. Handicap match anyone?" Jules grinned at Joe who would obviously love to see a handicap match. "Ah leave them be, they're just jealous m'dear. Watch, you're both going down suckers!" Jules turned her back to them and pulled her shoulder bag off her back.
"Ok I'm going! Be back in a few." Jules ran off to the changing rooms. They were empty of course, she hadn't met another female who trained here yet. And they actually looked clean, the little Chinese lady was there, mopping the floor. "Nǐ hǎo!" She said, smiling widely at Jules. During the years Juliet had learned little bits of many languages, and actually loved when she could put them into play. "Nǐ hǎo miss..." "Lí. Ma name is Ling Lí. You are Juliet." Jules tilted her head, losing her smile. "How did you know that Ling?" The Chinese lady smiled, "I know things. That fortune I gave you, you still have it?" Jules nodded at her, placing her shoulder bag down on the wooden bench. "Ah good. Because you have met that person today haven't you? Marcus, the man who run this place." Jules smiled ever so slightly. "He will love you like no other, just be careful of someone who is also in the hall. Be wary of the people around you Juliet." Jules watched as Ling continued cleaning, as if she hadn't just said all of that to her. Within a couple of minutes, Jules was changed. When she emerged from her cubicle, Ling was gone. Was that real? Or was it just her imagination running away with her?
Jules still contemplated the short conversation with Ling as she entered the main boxing hall again. The two teens were waiting for her in the ring eagerly. Jules ran towards the ring, running between Joe and Marcus and slid under the bottom rope. She placed her gumshield in her mouth and lifted her eyebrows at the two boys. She saw one of them whisper to the other. The shorter, ruder boy shouted as his friend. "What do you mean you're scared to hit her?! She's tiny!" "But she's so little, I might hurt her." "Good!" Jules frowned as she looked at the larger boy, he was easily taller than Marcus, and probably as tall as Joe. "No I'm not doing it." He jumped over the top rope and jumped down to the floor. "Pussy! I'm gonna tell everyone in school about this!" The larger boy moved around the ring to Marcus and Joe. Jules kept her eyes on the other teen in the ring, his eyes were wide and full of hatred. What the hell had she done?
