{ooc - raah - this so wasn't supposed to happen again - sorry for delay}
After Xavier had went into an explanation of what abilities he might have, he could only grin manically at Leigh at her response. Yes, it would definitely seem they were a rather evil duo, he felt they would get on famously together. “Oh, we will definitely find things to do to whoever killed your father, no fear about that.” He just hoped that they might have better luck in finding this person, unlike his wasted attempts at getting his hands on that Rebekah girl, she always had somebody to protect her, and it was royally annoying.
Leigh then commented more on getting the book about abilities, saying it might be useful to learn more about them. He nodded his head in agreement, he might have known a bit about Leigh’s ability, but only because he knew of two people with it, Rayne who shall hopefully never be mentioned again and Rebekah, his arch nemesis. “I agree if I do have some ability which allows me to gain multiple ones, it would be good to have a heads up on what I might come across along the way.” Not that he was against the idea, but like what happened with that bench before, he had no idea he had telekinesis, and just by one flick of his hand he had sent it turning over.
When Xavier had softened the conversation somewhat, by saying he’d like to get to know her more, much more hopefully and gently squeezed her hand; he gave her a warm smile when she replied. Well, at least it wasn’t a no, but he couldn’t blame her for having slight reservations, she still didn’t really know him. Then again, her first priority was to get the person who killed her father, and for him, it was the girl who had killed his friends. So he could relate to that. “Well, best get on with finding who did this to your father then, the sooner we get that sorted; the sooner I can get to know you better.” He really had no idea where the softness was coming from, but for all he was an evil son of a bitch, he still had time for romance, so long as they were on his wavelength and so far Leigh was more than on it.
After Leigh had gone to clean herself up in the cafe, she was soon back, and he had asked if she felt better and had she managed to get it all off. He gave her a weak smile at her response, “Maybe we should stop in at a chemist and get you some cream to soothe your hand a little?” Even if she had said it would subside after a while, if they could help ease it sooner, then all the better. He didn’t like to think of her being in discomfort. Now he was definitely going a bit soft for this woman. He peered down at it, and mouthed ‘ouch’, it did look rather raw and painful.
Soon after Xavier asked Leigh if she had some sort of plan in action for getting the person or people who had killed her father, or if she was just taking it one day at a time, and he listened as she replied to him. After a short pause she went on to ask if he had any suggestions. “I have to admit, I usually just take each day as it comes myself, but, I might happen to know of someone, or some people who might know something.” Ever since Rebekah got herself involved with the infamous Petrelli family, he had learned of the company her adoptive mother ran, something called Primatech, or at least that was the cover name for it at any rate. They might just happen to know something. He began to squeeze at his chin with his finger and thumb, and then he let out a sigh, “You know there might be someone or at least a place that might be worth checking out. The Company, otherwise known as Primatech, they have these agents who bring in dangerous people like us, if anybody is going to know anything about random killings, between people like us, they might well be the ones to help.”
He couldn’t be sure if they would indeed know anything or not, but to Xavier at this stage, after ten years of searching, anything had to be worth a try, right?
